The Truth on Action and Emotions with the Law of Attraction

In this self‑help video Aaron Doughty explains how the Law of Attraction works best when thinking, feeling, and doing are integrated rather than emphasized separately. He contrasts two common mind‑sets: an emotion‑focused approach (exemplified by Abraham Hicks) that stresses inspired thought and feeling, and an action‑focused approach (exemplified by Gary Vaynerchuk) that stresses relentless execution. Doughty shares his personal transformation from a two‑year period of primarily emotional/mental focus to a recent five‑month period of daily video creation, which he describes as "massive action". He argues that taking massive, value‑oriented action opens opportunities, reshapes self‑image, and eventually aligns emotions with the activity, creating a flow state. He introduces a practical technique: re‑wiring the brain by associating pleasure with taking action and pain with stagnation, using the pain‑pleasure feedback loop to reinforce habit formation. By consistently linking pleasure to daily content creation, he reports a shift in identity and results. The video concludes with a call to apply this integrated approach—balancing thought, feeling, and action—to achieve desired outcomes.

Welcome back to another video. My name is Aaron Doughty and I help people expand their consciousness. Now this video, I'm going to be sharing with you the truth on taking massive action, emotions, and the law of attraction. I believe this video can help you transform the way you look at this whole process to see how you can optimize yourself to get the kind of results that you want. Now, when it comes to this process, let me first off say that I used to be someone that was on the complete opposite side. It was used to be all about the emotions and the thinking. Then about 5 months ago, I came all the way over to the other side, and then it became all about taking massive action. But what I've come to learn is that it's really about both of them and understanding some simple ways that we can integrate both to have that balance, but really for them to be very symbiotic, for them to be very integrated. Now first off, let's look at the concepts when it comes to the law of attraction and the different perspectives. There are, there are some that would look at like, uh, maybe like Abraham Hicks where it's more of the focus is on the emotion, it's on the thinking about it. And there are people that believe, and this isn't me discounting it at all because at the very basis of it, I believe that our beliefs are creating our reality. So there are some people that may believe that they cannot do very much at all, but get a massive amount of results from it, and maybe that works for them. And that focus many times is all on the emotion, maybe sitting around thinking about it, really having that inspired thought and feelings. And then we can move on to another side of the spectrum, which would be more like the Gary Vaynerchuk type perspective where it's all about taking massive action. Just do, do, do. Do, do, do, and then there'll be results. Now, about 5 months ago, I started making a video a day. I realized that my perspectives before, because for about 2 years I was much more focused on the, I'll make a video a week. I'm going to be very focused on just, you know, being the best version of myself, focused on like the emotional side of things and just thinking about it and putting focus and energy into it. But when I switched and I started to balance these out and I started to take massive, massive action. That's where I started to get results. So then I'm on this side, and I knew always that this is important, but it really became the focus for me of balancing out that spectrum by taking massive action, by watching people like Gary Vaynerchuk and watching his content, because it would inspire me to change my work ethic. Now, when I look at this, what really happened is I realized that the power in action is that the more action we take, the more opportunities we open up. And when we take action with the intention of adding value to other people, that is just so powerful. And for me, that's been one of the most powerful things I've learned probably in the last like 5 years. And let's look at what else that changed with me. That changed my self-image for the way I saw myself. I then went from somebody that was just someone that created content, one foot in, one foot out, to somebody that this is who I am. Now let me break both of these down with the law of attraction. And like I always say, it's not so much just about that we attract what we want, but we always get a reflection of who we are being. Now if I was just on this side of the emotions and I'm thinking I am being somebody that is giving massive value to people, I am somebody that's just creating all these opportunities, but I'm just not really doing anything, I'm not actually embodying the being aspect. Now understand that who we are being is a composition or is a compilation of what we think, how we feel, and what we do. Now these are both on the aspects, what we do, what we think, and how we are being and feeling. Now let me say that if we combine both of these, it is very powerful because the feeling and the action begin to merge together. My thoughts process, my emotions are now tied to what I do in the sense that when I create a video right now, I'm in this like dynamic flow state where I just feel like everything's just kind of coming out. It's very easy and it feels good. Now in the very beginning when I started taking massive action, I didn't have the kind of emotions I have when I create videos. I had a little bit of it, but now it's at a much more powerful level because I really associate pleasure with taking this massive action and doing this. Now understand that you can first off have the awareness of where do I lie on the scale? Am I someone that's maybe taking massive, massive action, but there's no direction for it, or it's resistant action. It's like almost you're desperately trying to get somewhere that you're not already and you're doing it from a point of lack. If that is you, then maybe what you can do is focus more on the emotions, letting go of resistance, feeling validated from within. And feeling the emotions that you really want to attract from over there. Feel them now in the present moment and then combine that with the action and watch how everything changes. If you were like me months ago or like, yeah, like 6 months ago when I was more focused on the thought and the emotions but not the action, maybe what you can do is start to take massive action and see how it— see how it kind of merges together. Whatever you need, whatever prescription you need, you can be honest with yourself and see that when you begin to merge them and you do them in a very focused and aligned way, they begin to merge into themselves. Now they talk a lot with this emotion side. It's all about taking inspired action. Well, the thing is, is when you start to feel powerful emotion by really thinking of the vision of who you want to become, the action is a natural byproduct of what you want to do because it's who you are. Now let's Let's look at it from the other point of view. When you take massive action, eventually the emotions, the thoughts consume everything because that's part of taking massive action. The more you do whichever side, the more you realize that they are actually very compatible and when you become aware that they are compatible, that they are very super like conductive of each other, That's where massive results can come. So the power of this video is knowing it's not just about the action, it's also about how you feel and the focus of that action. It's not just about the emotions, it's also about taking massive action and begin to see them as one. Begin to realize who am I being in this moment and how can I optimize that by simply deciding that that is what I'm going to do. Now before I end this video, I want to give you a very powerful technique for feeling inspired to take action and really starting to associate pleasure with it. Now realize that the way our brain works, the way that we work, is that we will always do what we associate the most pleasure with and we will always move away from what we associate pain with. If in your mind you associate pain with taking action, then you won't take action. If you associate pleasure with being lazy or not doing that much at all or not doing a lot, then you won't move towards taking action or move away from the pain of feeling lazy. So the idea is that in order to really transform this, begin to associate so much pleasure with taking action, begin to associate pleasure with how you will end up becoming from this and the kind of person you will become. And as you associate pleasure with this, it will transform your life. Associate pain with who you are being in the present moment. If you want to change, associate pain with staying stagnant, with just thinking and just the emotions. And as you start to use the power of pain and pleasure, you'll notice that it rewires you in a completely new way. That's what I did. I started to associate pleasure with creating videos. I've done a video a day for over 100 days now and it has dramatically changed everything about me. Not just because I'm getting different results, but literally because I am being a different person in this moment. I am more embodying my potential, who I prefer to be, and the massive action and the massive emotions and thinking are aligned as one. So with that being said, I hope you guys enjoyed this video. Feel free to like this video if you liked it. Subscribe if you haven't already. And as always, I will see you guys on the next vid. Peace. Much love. Namaste. All right, bye.
