The WEIRD REASON Walking Away Gets Your EX BACK...

Aaron Doughty explains why walking away from someone creates attraction: chasing projects neediness that pushes people away, while detachment generates magnetic energy. Childhood patterns of seeking approval keep you stuck; setting boundaries and embodying self-worth naturally draws others back.

This video, I'm gonna show you the weird reason walking away actually has so much magnetic energy that it can propel back things to you that you priorly lost. Now, energetically, there's something that is happening when somebody walks away. What they are doing is sometimes that can also be implying value, because if somebody can walk away, it means that somebody has a certain level of value about themselves. That ends up having this quality of like magnetic energy. Now also, when we think of this, think of it like this energetically. When somebody else is chasing someone else, whether it's wanting their validation, their approval, wanting something from somebody else, it's an energy that is very repellent. It's an energy that repels. This happens a lot when people eventually when you first start dating, people might start dating and then what happens is someone's like, well, I hope they're texting me back, I hope they're thinking of me, and they energetically start sending that person a lot of energy and that can have a very repelling effect. Now, one of the reasons this is, is because most of the energy that we feel with other people, it's nonverbal. It's not just the words that we're saying, it's subcommunicated. And what quantum physics is showing us is that everything exists here and now, that time and space is a form of illusion. And energetically, there are also many esoteric teachings that talk about this, but when you think of somebody, what we are doing is we are projecting energy at and towards the person that we're thinking about. Now, what happens energetically is when somebody is chasing someone else, they are projecting a lot of energy at that person. And what ends up happening is that person can feel the energy. And when they can feel energy is being projected at them, it has the opposite effect of what you might think. You might think, oh, if I project energy at somebody, they're gonna feel it, they're gonna like it, and they're gonna want more of it. But a lot of times that energy, feels like resistance. And one of the reasons being is because the person projecting the energy many times isn't just sitting there appreciating the person and thinking about how perfect everything is. A lot of times the person is projecting energy at the person of, I wish you were different, I wish you liked me this, I wish you did this, I wish you did that. And what ends up happening is that resistance is being projected at them, they feel it, and it ends up repelling them. Think about it like this as well. People are responding to us based upon the energy we are embodying. Think about it like, not to just compare relationships to dogs, but like what happens if you start chasing a dog, right? You start chasing a dog, the dog will start running from you. And then ironically enough, if you start running away from the dog, the dog will start chasing you. Well, the dog is just playing according to the energy you're playing with. And energetically, that's the energy that's being led with. And therefore, that's what reality's reflecting back. Now, I'm not suggesting that you go play games and it's like, oh, if I'm chasing this person, then maybe what I do is I just run away. It's not so much about like games because when we're playing games, it's putting us in this kind of manipulative energy. Or we're trying to manipulate the people to get what we want. And one of the things that I've learned on this process of having magnetic energy is I think for a long time I was in a place to where I didn't know my own sense of value or my own sense of self-worth. So I would stick with an energy that like wasn't conducive or maybe like, somebody that wasn't choosing me or a dynamic like that because that felt either safe or that's just what I thought I was worthy of. I wasn't worthy of anything more. So I wouldn't have had the balls or the energy to walk away. And that's because of like a sense of self-worth. Now, one of the things that is probably one of the most powerful energy dynamics for you to embody is knowing your own sense of self-worth and also bringing your energy back. So I'm not saying that what you should do is run away from somebody else and like pull at their heartstrings and manipulate the experience to get what you want. What I'm saying is pull your energy back and stop projecting at this person because when you are sending energy to them, especially if you're feeling resistance or you're feeling like they're not doing exactly what you would like, then you are sending them resistant energy that's actually repelling them anyways. Now, is the answer to like get in alignment and to feel amazing energy and to then project it at them? No, because when you're projecting energy at them, they feel it and probably they want a little bit of space. They want energy space. They don't want it, they wanna feel like they're in their own frame. So giving them space can be one of the most attractive things that you could do. But also pulling your energy back. Pulling your energy back then allows the energy to play itself out and it allows people to then be in their own energy field to then say, "Ah, okay, now I feel safe. Now I can do my own inner work. Now I can actually find out what I really do want." And detachment is one of the most attractive things you can do because it implies you can fill up your own cup. It implies you're already whole and complete the way you are. And remember, when it comes to attracting love, this isn't about like, I'm half of a person, you're half of a person, and we're gonna meet up and become whole. It's about I'm whole and complete myself, and you will then attract somebody else who feels whole and complete, and then you can be together in a whole and complete way where you're not codependent on each other. So this is an energy dynamic at play that I'm talking about where we can realize our own sense of self-value and our own sense of self-worth. And once we do that, once we know what our value, our worth, what ends up happening is we sub-communicate that out. People feel that energy off of us. And you've probably heard me talk about this in prior videos before, but the frame technique, just simply feeling inside of your own hands and your own feet And actually focusing on the separation between you and someone else has a very magnifying effect. I don't know why. Energetically, I think it's because imagine there's an energy field around us, and when we want somebody else, we're projecting our energy at them wherever they are, even if they're not physically around. That energy field that we are projecting out, think of it like even the shirt that I'm wearing right now. Imagine that this is us and we're emanating energy out. Now imagine if you want somebody else, what you would end up doing is projecting your energy out and it would be like lessening the field around your body. It's like your aura goes down and then the person over here can feel the energy that you're projecting at them and it's causing them to feel uncomfortable. And one of the things that changes everything is when you actually pull your energy back and you focus more on being in your own body because A lot of times when we want somebody else to be a certain way, it's coming from an inner child belief that if I can fix this other person, then I can feel safe and whole. If I can get their validation and approval, then I can close the loop. And the loop that we're secretly trying to close is a lot of times from our childhood. Because when we were kids, we may have not felt validated. It's funny, I was listening to a Joe Rogan podcast yesterday and he was talking about how these celebrities, 'cause you know, you've got the Amber Heard and Johnny Depp trial, and he was talking about like the dark side of being famous and being a celebrity. And almost always when you look at these celebrities, the ones that really maybe, I don't know specifics, but like people that really want validation and approval, they didn't get it growing up. So then they search for it and they'll do anything they can to get it as adults. And a lot of times that's because they're searching for something in their life that they didn't receive as kids. And sometimes as kids, we may have not received emotional availability. We may have received a lot of rejection. So we're like, hey, if I could prove myself to somebody else and not feel rejected, then I'll finally feel whole. Have a dynamic to where somebody treats us like shit and we're used to that, that feels safe and familiar. And we're fighting to keep familiar energy dynamics at play that were around when we were kids. Now, one of the things that changes everything is when you learn to say no to the energy dynamics that aren't fair to you. I had to literally say no to people that were abusing my own energy field because I'd let them. I had so much trouble setting boundaries with people. I had so much trouble knowing my own sense of self-worth a couple years ago. And I'd also date people that like didn't value me because I didn't value me. I'd also date people that would reject me because I would reject me, or people that would abandon me emotionally or physically because I would do that to myself. That felt safe and familiar from my own energy. And when we talk about walking away, what we're really saying is walk away from the childhood trauma of needing to feel validated, needing to feel worthy from the outside external source and start to draw that from within. A lot of this also has to do with becoming aware that the childhood dynamics as kids, the abandonment that we may have felt either emotionally or physically, Sometimes we think that that was our fault. If I could have been different, then mom and dad would've treated me differently. If maybe if I was a little different, they wouldn't have divorced. We develop these meanings as kids that say there's something wrong with me, there's something wrong with me, and we think it's our fault. And an important thing to remember is that it wasn't our fault our parents divorced. Wasn't our fault that maybe one of our parents wasn't emotionally available or both of them. And the more we start realizing that, we stop internalizing this self-fulfilling prophecy, the self-fulfilling belief that says I'm not enough, I'm not enough, things aren't okay. And if I could just control the person I'm dating or somebody's validation or approval, if I could just get it, then I'd finally feel good. But one of the most powerful things you can do is actually know your own sense of self-worth and to stop abandoning yourself. When you are living in your own frame of reality, you are so attractive. When you are leading your life and you have like a gravity setup you're doing what you love, you are so attractive. When you are feeling the separation between you and others, you are attractive. When you are feeling safe in your own body, you are attractive and magnetic. And these are all things you can begin to do by feeling safe within your own frame and understanding that this isn't really about them. They are just a reflection of the energy you're playing within yourself. Instead, the key is to stop abandoning the self, is to start having fun in your life and enjoying your life and to start leading in that way and develop your own frame of reality and to stop needing that from anyone else and start pulling your energy back. You will be more magnetic than you can even imagine. So something exciting I wanna share with you is a 21-day process for wiring in more confidence than ever before.
