What if the things in your life have an energetic memory? The materialistic things in your life bring about certain associations in your brain. You may have things that certain people gave you that is from the past. Maybe a boyfriend or girlfriend gave you a specific gift and you keep that gift around, and subconsciously, every time you see that gift, it brings about the memory of this person, and that memory may be fueled with certain emotions. It may have a certain energetic effect on you. And what if the things around you literally have an impact on your energy? And what if you were able to let go of these things, you'd then be letting go of energy that is keeping you tied to the familiar. And what is keeping you tied to the familiar could be what is blocking the new from coming into your life. Now, I want to show you this breakthrough that I'm currently going through in my own life when it comes to letting go of materialistic things, becoming way more minimalist, than I've ever been. I wanna tell you about the journey of this and how this has allowed me to feel so much more free and allowed me to attract new opportunities into my life that I believe are coming because I am purging this old energy outta my life. Now, first off, let me say I've been through a somewhat of a phase of this over the last 4 or 5 years. I've moved a few times and when I'm moving, sometimes I'll get rid of some things but nothing like what I'm going through right now. Now, what I'm going through right now is a process of becoming aware of how complex certain parts of my life have become. Back in 2017, when I got on YouTube, I started making daily videos and there was success that started to come very quickly. And with that success, there came this complexity. I then became, passionate, or I don't know what you would call it, but what I would do is buy nice things to a point to where I lived in Vegas and then I moved to Sedona, then I moved to Austin. And every time I moved, instead of just getting rid of the things I had, I'd get rid of a few things, but mainly I'd put things in storage. And what happens is now where I'm left is I have two full storage units full of stuff, and I'll tell you what I'm, my breakthrough. And then also what I realized is every so often, every about year, I'd move houses. I'd live in one house, I'd have to basically get movers and go through a whole entire process of moving to a different house. And you've probably, if you've been following me on Instagram, you've probably seen that. You're like, why does this guy move so much? I get sometimes people that DM that. And what I've realized for myself is I had to get clear with what my own vision is for abundance because I realized that there was this like acquiring of things. And also I looked to my dad and certain people in my family and you go into his house and it's full of stuff. You go into like the office, there's just stuff everywhere, boxes. You go into the garage, there's boxes. There's, my dad built this thing that goes on the top of where the cars go so he could have more boxes. And there's just stuff. And I'm like, am I doing this? Well, instead of putting it in the house, what I did is I got storage units so I don't have to see it. Out of sight, out of mind. But energetically, I could feel not only is there money going into this, but it's an energy that takes up real estate in my own consciousness, just knowing that it's there. So when I moved from Vegas to Austin, what happened? Is I moved that of all of the stuff that I had in one house into a storage unit for 2 years paying $400 a month. Big waste of energy because there, and here's the thing, there was just a few things in there and I'll show you one of them that I knew I wanted to keep. But because of that, I ended up paying $400 a month for 2 or 3 years because there was this belief that, well, I don't wanna get rid of like a family heirloom or like a, a photo album or a yearbook or something like that. Now, one of the things that I realized though, that was holding me back, but it was taking up energetic bandwidth. Now, interestingly enough, if you even think about it, this from a neuroscience point of view, when you see certain things in your life, there's an association to those things. And that association to those things may evoke a certain emotion inside of you. Now think about it. You create your reality based on your thoughts, your feelings, and your emotions. And if you're seeing something, even subconsciously, you're thinking about it or it evokes a certain emotion, even if it's subconscious, it's going to affect your energy field. So one of the insights for me was realizing how many of these things laying around, sometimes from certain phases of my life. This is why it may be beneficial to sometimes, if you can, to let go of things in your closet, clothes that maybe you wore at certain phases of your life, and to let it go. And that as you let it go, you are cutting ties from the familiar. Now, the other reason this, so out of an entire 15 by 20 foot storage unit, I gave and donated everything except for one, two boxes, a trunk full of family photo albums and like a blanket when I was a baby and stuff like that. I just didn't feel good giving that away because my fam, my, it was like passed down from my dad. It's like, here's, and like there's like a photo album there when I was born and stuff. So I'm like, okay, I keep that. And then one box that's full of like yearbooks, maybe one day I'll just let go of the yearbooks from high school and stuff, but I'm just keeping certain things there. So it's, a trunk and a box, and literally what I gave away was everything else. And I'm talking, it was furniture. And it was funny because at the very— when I went there yesterday to the storage unit, what I did is I had 2 or 3 movers help and move stuff and give it to Goodwill and give it to different donations. And then I had a house manager, um, like assistant that was there going through the stuff for me because I thought maybe what if there's camera equipment in there? What if there's like expensive things that I actually need that I've been that I didn't know I had. Well, funny enough, I get there, I go through a whole bunch of stuff and I just, it becomes addictive. You're like, just get rid of it. Just get rid of it. Just get rid of it. I feel free. I feel free. I feel free. And then I was also impressed with myself. I was like, huh, I could get rid of all this. What else can I get rid of? But then at the very like half, right when I got there actually, the handyman guy that was helping move stuff was like, hey, there's 3 TVs we found, 3 big TVs too. Probably that size. And what I said is, okay, put it to the side. We're gonna bring that to the other, you know, move it to my other storage unit. I know it sounds like I'm bragging, by the way, 'cause like, this guy has so many storage units. But I was like, I'll keep these 3 TVs 'cause they're valuable. But then what happened is I got rid of all that stuff. It became so addicting, it felt good. And I'll show you this one thing that I got that maybe if you've been watching my channel for a while, you'll have remembered. But after I left, I said, you know what? And I texted that guy, called that guy, and I said, you know what? You can donate the TVs. Donate or do whatever you want with the TVs. It was a breakthrough for me because normally it's like, it's valuable, but I'm like, I don't need 3 random, probably older TVs. And funny enough as well, there's another example of this where I have literally, this is a shadow work aspect as well, but it's gonna feel so good to donate all of this. I have 2 freezers, 2 freezer chestfuls of food full because of when that stuff happened back in 2020, I was like, what if something happens again? Out of fear, buying a whole bunch of food and stuff just in case I'd have food for me, my friends, my family, everybody. But what happened is it became full and then I started, I gave these, there's like these waffles that are literally $8 each 'cause they're paleo waffles. And my friend Victor came over and I gave him like 3 or 4 of them. He's like, I'll take them 'cause he eats them every day. And he said he enjoyed them, but they were a little bit freezer burnt. And I was like, huh, so these things I've been holding onto, not only am I have all this real estate with 2 freezers full of food, but maybe some of it's not even good, but I literally believed it was and I couldn't let go of it, or I just kept it there. So what I'm doing is tomorrow, so basically I'm moving from where I'm at right now in Austin, and I'm gonna be traveling more. I'm gonna be in, LA for a few months, then I'll be traveling from there. But what I'm doing is instead of putting everything in storage, I'm getting rid of 90% of everything. The only thing I'll be keeping are like some of the crystals that I have, 'cause I do enjoy those and it has like an energetic effect on wherever I live. Other than that, I'm giving away like 90% of things. And then I feel free, like I can get up and travel. Wherever I go, it's not such a huge burden. But the side effect of what surprised me about this is how free I feel. You see, the more successful you become or the more things you acquire, there's attachment there. It almost becomes a burden eventually. And that burden holds you back from bringing in new. And when you let go of those things, you create more space in your life. Now, funny enough, as I go through this week, I'm purging things, I'm also purging, there's a, few significant connections I have to different patterns in my life where I'm letting go of my connection to even certain people where I can tell this is out of alignment for me to continue being in relationship in a certain way. So what I've done is I'm realizing, and the fear around doing that was similar in the sense that, oh, this is familiar, this energy dynamic has always been around. But as I've had the courage to have uncomfortable conversations and to cut that energy out, it has felt like so much of a relief. Like, why didn't I do this sooner? And you'll do this, by the way, if you go through a process of decluttering your life, 'cause remember, your outer reality is a reflection of your inner reality. So if you wanna create space in your life, letting go of things will create space, will create a certain level of freedom, it can. And you're letting go of associations and your connection to past familiar emotions. You may be letting go of certain patterns and almost think about it. Your brain is wired in a certain way and as you let go of things, you then begin letting go of your attachment to the past attachment, to certain people attachment that's keeping you in the old. Now for me, one of the things that was so important on this process is becoming aware of what real freedom is to me. Because freedom to me is not having just a whole bunch of things that you're attached to. Freedom is the ability to let go. Freedom is the ability to donate and to give to people that maybe even need it more than you. Freedom is the ability to get up and travel. And freedom is also not the ability to not have anything. I wanna say that too because I can see that I could take this to a whole extent to where I don't own anything, but then that also feels like a trap. It feels like there's also like a rule there, you know what I mean? It's like that becomes the addiction to like not having things, but at the same time, that becomes almost a burden in a way. Sometimes it can be kind of beneficial to have certain things that maybe feel familiar. So I'm not saying get attached to this ideology, but Very often when you let go of certain energies from your life, you allow in new. Now, if you look at this, does this look familiar? This is one of the things that I kept. This is from my first videos on YouTube. I have many of my first 100 videos, I wore this shirt a lot. Wouldn't even fit me anymore. I tried it on actually, it was way too tight. But back in 2017, this is my OG shirt. And people would ask me where I got it. And like, it was like a thing for a while. And then eventually I stopped wearing it so often. But this, what's funny is it even smells like my dad's house 'cause I started making videos in my dad's house and I was wearing this shirt. And the scent of it brings about certain emotions. Even the center in the brain that's connected to scent is connected to memory. So it's interesting, even me realizing that and smelling it and being like, oh, it smells like my dad's house. And it evoked that time of my life of when I was, trying to make it on YouTube. Now also, I can associate this shirt with the excitement of getting on YouTube even, but nonetheless, it does, maybe one day I'll get rid of the shirt, but for me, for right now, out of a whole storage unit full of stuff, donated everything except for a shirt and two trunk and a box. Not bad, right? Now, one thing I'm gonna be doing too is talking about my new insights around abundance and showing you how to remove scarcity beliefs, how to stop living in survival, how to let go of your attachment to things and the attachment to scarcity and how to become more abundant, how to live your purpose full-time, how to love your life and live in alignment in a 21-day Magnetic Abundance Challenge. This is a brand new challenge that's starting soon. If you wanna click the link in the description box below, you can join it. And it's gonna be live office hours, hot seat coaching. It's gonna include that of breathwork, releasing stored energy in the body that's attracting scarcity into your life. And you will feel like a completely new version of you by the end of it. That's what we're gonna be focused on. Now, understand that when it comes to abundance, a huge part of it is allowing the divine to flow through. It's also balancing out the bottom 3 chakras, balancing out the root chakra, the sacral chakra, and the solar plexus to then open up the heart. When you open up the heart and you allow the divine to flow through and you start to be of service to the universe, there's less ego resistance involved, there's less attachment to things. It'll completely change your energy and you won't be trying to control relationships, you won't be trying to control reality because there'll be this trust there. But it can be hard to trust when in the past maybe there was a childhood where you couldn't trust, where there's a childhood where maybe it felt normalized to not have your needs met. So what we're gonna be doing this 21-day challenge basically is familiarizing abundance and love, which is actually your natural state of being, and letting go of the scarcity, the lack beliefs, the old identity that's keeping you creating the same things over and over again and maybe attached to the same dynamics over and over again. So to become more free, let more things go. Go through a process of purging. What do you really need? And here's a little tip for you. Have like a pile of things you wanna let go of, maybe a pile of things you wanna keep, if you're like going through this stuff, or that's our maybe pile. And then start getting rid of the stuff that's in the let go pile and then go back to the maybe pile. You might find you're much more willing to let things go and then see how clean your house looks. See how free you feel and see how then you attract more synchronicities and more opportunities into your life than ever before because you're free of the energetic tie to the past. So with that being said, if you want a meditation, by the way, for abundance and for letting go, there is a meditation for planting the seeds of abundance called Think and Grow Rich, or Meditate and Grow Rich. This meditation is one of my most popular underrated meditations at the same time, and you can check it out right here. This meditation will reprogram your mind for abundance.
