This Quiet Energy Makes them Chase You Instantly

Aaron Doughty argues that real attraction comes from embracing your authentic self, not people-pleasing. Childhood conditioning to seek approval creates boundary-less patterns that attract toxic partners. Setting firm boundaries and acting despite fear rewires your values and makes you genuinely magnetic.

What if the key to becoming the most attractive you is to actually embrace being bad? What people don't realize is they may be magnetic to things they don't actually want, but because they're avoiding a part of themselves, they're attracting it. In this video, I'm going to show you step by step what to do that will completely transform your life from the inside out. So with that being said, let's get into it right Now, become bad to be the most magnetic and attractive version of you. Because when you're being nice or you're being good, you may be abandoning yourself to be what everybody else you believe wants you to be. You could say the degree to which you embrace being bad is the degree to which you are magnetic and attractive. Because most people do not embrace their dark side. Most people are staying in the energy of either pleasing other people or trying to make other people happy. I remember when I was first embracing my own dark side. This is something that happened really more intensely about 3 or 4 years ago where I started to become more aware of what is called the shadow, the part of ourselves that we're afraid to become. And often if you had some type of pain in childhood or someone in your childhood who you made a decision, I don't want to be anything like them. And sometimes what we do is we don't want to be like them, but we also reject a certain aspect of ourselves. Now understand this, you setting boundaries with someone else may be bad to the child part of you. If you weren't allowed to set boundaries or you felt guilty setting boundaries, you might think you're being good, but you might be being good, what you think of as good to everybody else, might be inauthentic to yourself. Does this make sense? The thing is, is as a kid, you may see it as bad to be authentic. You may see it as bad to not please people. You may see it as bad to express yourself. You might see it as bad to not ease other people's tension. And that's as a kid, I wanna be good. I wanna be good. And if I'm good for everyone, everyone's gonna love me. But that's only if, here's the thing, here's the major thing that I think so many people listening, this might be the shift for you. If as a kid, there wasn't that validation and approval, you will value that and confuse that as love. Think about that for a minute. So your nervous system then becomes tuned to, in order to be unconditionally loved, I first off must get approval and validation. Does this make sense? So then you tune to approval and validation in other people. And who do I need to be to get their approval and validation? So the basis for unconditional love or for love is you believe you must get people's approval. Now to get people's approval, you might believe you need to be good. If you break it down to like kids, right? It's like, I want to be good boy or girl. I don't want to be bad. To be bad means to get pain, to not get mom or dad's love and approval. And that's what I need in order to be worthy and complete. Yeah, someone says managing emotions for people so that they accept you, even if it means abandoning yourself. This is where a lot of people don't realize that if you flip the script, you can become free. Listen to what I'm about to say here. People might work a 9-to-5 job they hate and play this idea that like, oh, I'm faking it. I'm faking it by like being this new empowered version of me. You may think you're faking it by like starting to make videos or putting yourself out there or becoming a coach or whatever it is. But really you might be abandoning yourself and actually it's more fake to stay in a reality that you know isn't who you really are. So you're already abandoning yourself. Some of you might be in relationships that are not reciprocal, where there's an equal flow of energy between you, where you don't feel like you could be emotionally open, and you might have to abandon yourself to even be in the relationship. And you abandon yourself to be in the relationship, and then if eventually abandonment comes up, you say, "Why is this aband—?" Well, it comes up because you're already abandoning you. And when you're being good to get people's approval and validation, you're abandoning the part of you that means embracing the bad. So for me, back in the day, this came forward with me with having vulnerable conversations with people to reestablish energy dynamics, which by the way, every time it was a conversation I was afraid to have and I would have it, I then noticed there was more respect there. There was like a deeper connection that came outta authenticity rather than came out of like wanting approval or validation. And the thing is, is even if they didn't resonate with the conversation or whatever, I approved of myself by being authentic. You see, the thing is, is that to be bad means to be authentic, really, to be expressive, to be authentic, et cetera. Is faking confidence really faking confidence if it's coming from somewhere? You become confident the more repetitions you do. And what is wrong with feeling fake? Fear and doing it anyways. You feel fear and you do it anyways. And the more you do anything, the more confident you get. Like you might say, like expressing yourself to someone, sharing your emotions with someone, showing someone that you're attracted to them. There'll be fear there if you did that in the past and got pain or you internalized what happened when you did that. You thought that it meant something was wrong with you. You'll avoid that. And then you'll avoid expressing how you really feel. So understand that the more you do anything, the more confident you become. The more you express that, like if that's what your fear is and you express your feelings to someone, the first couple times you'll feel that way, but then eventually you feel more and more confident. Now, if you want to learn, by the way, how to stop abandoning yourself, how to remove your love blocks, something that we're doing starting on February 11th is the Magnetic Love Reset. It's a 10-day process. With live hot seat coaching, meditations, and a proven process that literally 4,000 people have been through. If you wanna join it, you can respond with the word RESET, R-E-S-E-T, so you could join and grab your spot. Someone says, that's why people like Cardi B because people crave realness. That's why they like Cardi B. Yeah, there are certain people that you watch that they just give themselves permission to be themselves. And there's an aspect of you that either admires that or gets triggered by that, one of the two. Either it's reflecting back to you, and whether your interpretation of Cardi B, that she's authentic or not, that depends on, you know, depends on your interpretation probably. But she is like very expressive and real, and she's not attached. That's another thing is to be not attached to what people think of you means that you have a certain level of approval inside of yourself. Like if somebody doesn't like something about you, you can decide whether you internalize that or not. You could decide whether that means anything about you. Marika says, sometimes no matter what you do, some people will always be committed to thinking bad about you. Yeah, and that's, you know, there's a lot of freedom that comes when you realize it's not your thing to manage. Like there's a burden that comes when you believe that you need to manage other people's interpretation of you. There's a lot of resistance that comes with that because you're literally taking on someone's, like, you're taking on someone's job that it's not your job to do. So when I was saying earlier about one of the things that will shift your life more than anything else, if you apply it around embracing your dark side, it means there's two levels to this I see that can completely transform things for you. If growing up you didn't receive validation or approval from mom or dad, or you felt like the condition to love was you had to be good or be a certain way, you'll normally abandon yourself. And what will happen is as you abandon yourself, you are then treating, you are then displaying to other people how you want to be treated because you are abandoning you. So therefore people will abandon you. But here's the thing. Here's the thing that shifts your whole mindset about it. They're not even abandoning you because you're not being you. You're being who they, you think they want you to be. Do you see? So if you're being good or people pleasing, et cetera, that's not the real you. That's the you that's a survival mechanism that's on autopilot to get your childhood needs met, which might be, I need approval and validation to feel safe inside of my body. So what I'm saying is, first off, the true freedom though is when you can actually be the real you and not be attached to whether they approve you or not. Like, let people not like you. You have to give people the freedom to not like you. That's when you're free. Just like there's certain people you don't resonate with. It's okay. That's when you're actually like— freedom is the ability to be disliked. If you are okay with whether people like you or not, that's free. On one hand, I could say, someone could say, this is how you get everybody to like you. What a big burden to have. Like if you go, this is why people feel energetically drained when they go out in public, by the way. You might go out in public and subconsciously you're tuning to other people's nervous systems and you're asking subconsciously, who do I need to be to get validation and approval from this person, from this person? Who do I need to be to ease this person's tension? No wonder you feel burdened when you're around people. You feel like it's your responsibility to regulate their nervous systems. So no wonder you will feel emotionally and energetically drained. There's a part of you that feels tuned to other people and feels burdened and responsible for their emotion and energy. Now, someone could tell you, I could say, okay, what we're going to do in this 10-day magnetic love reset is learn how to get everyone's approval and validation. And then everyone's gonna like you. That's how you become a magnet. No, becoming a magnet, becoming magnetic literally means that there's a part of you that repels certain people. It's okay to repel people. Not only is it okay to repel people, it's healthy to repel certain people in your life. You might say that you wanna be a magnet, but if I was like, okay, do you wanna be a magnet to narcissists? You wanna be a magnet, don't you? What about narcissists and sociopaths? And manipulative people, do you wanna be a magnet to them? You said no. Well, that's okay. That's good. That's healthy. You don't wanna be a magnet to everyone. How do you become a magnet to a narcissist? How do you become, well, you become a magnet to a narcissist by being very much a pleaser, by being naive, and also by having the responsibility for their emotions and energies. For feeling responsible for them, for being very tolerant. If you can be a very tolerant person, of someone who tolerates energy with no boundaries, then what happens is you can be a very powerful magnet to a narcissist. But if you wanna become a repellent to a narcissist, you stop feeding that energy. You stop feeding it. You stop being reactive. You stop fawning and trying to please them. You instead let them stay with their pain, let them stay with their emotion and energy, knowing that it's not your responsibility to fix. This is when you begin to become more free. So you don't want to be a magnet to everybody. In fact, you want to repel certain people. And the degree to which you can embrace the ability to be repelling is the degree to which you will be magnetic and attractive because that's the degree to which you'll be authentic. This really is about being authentic and realizing that you've been socially conditioned to believe that you need everyone's approval and validation. You don't. You don't need their approval and validation. In fact, you want to approve of yourself, to validate yourself because you're being the real you and because you're living according to values that don't have at the top of the list approval and validation. When you rewire your values, that's where you become more free. And that's exactly what we're gonna be doing in that 10-day Magnetic Love Reset, by the way. We're gonna be looking at our values that we live at inside of ourself, learning to meet the inner child needs that maybe weren't met as a kid so that you can feel more soothed, nurtured, and whole inside of yourself. Realizing that the more worthy you feel, the more secure in your body you feel, the more confident you feel is the degree to which you're not trying to please everybody else. It's the degree to which you don't abandon yourself. And therefore the way you treat you becomes also the way other people can treat you, but you don't need them to treat you any specific way because you approve of you. But this is about understanding that authenticity is the key to this whole thing. So when people are afraid to be abandoned, the funny thing is that they've already abandoned themselves by trying to please. They've already abandoned themselves by trying to be very tolerant of narcissistic or manipulative energy. And because they've abandoned themselves, no wonder other people abandon them. That's how you're treating you. And when you treat you that way, other people treat you that way too. So freedom is when you realize the pattern you complete the pattern and you rewire yourself for worthiness, love, and wholeness. Sophia says, "I am a people pleaser." You are not a people pleaser. You have a pattern of people pleasing that came most likely when you were a kid. You decided that I must take responsibility for other people's emotions and energies. I must please them. And if I do that, then I will receive validation, approval, or I can feel safe. But that's not who you are. The most authentic version of Sophie is not a people pleaser. That's a survival strategy that you've built, that you've gained as a survival strategy that may be on subconscious. So it's important to become aware of this is where the transformation also lies because you can become aware that you have a pattern but you're not your patterns. You might say, I'm a fixer, I'm an empath. I think a lot of times when people say that they're empaths, it's like they start to take on that identity and they then have an excuse to why they're so sensitive to other people's emotions and energies. And they turn off their ability to create separation or space between them and other people. So the labels can limit you. You are not your patterns. I think that's it for now. I've had fun with all of you guys. Want me to go more live over this week? Let me know. And if you want to join that Magnetic Love Reset, you can respond reset and I'll send you the tickets.
