This workshop will Raise Your Vibration Permanently (with meditation)

Aaron Doughty leads a guided meditation to raise your vibration through body relaxation, visualization of releasing mental baggage, and a symbolic chair where you turn a dial from 1 to 10, each number doubling the sensation of love. He addresses letting go of trauma, belief's role in vibration, and empathy boundaries in a Q&A.

my life the most through whether it's hundreds of books that I read, whether it is the many workshops that I've been through, the live events that I've been through. And these are gonna be the things that really made the biggest amount of difference for me. So right now, I want to— if anyone can hear me, can you guys press a 1? And we're gonna get started here in a minute. Awesome. So when it comes to vibration, who understands what vibration is first off? When we talk about vibration, when we talk about energy, the way you really wanna think about it and understand it is that your energy and the vibration you are in is what you see what is equal to your life. Does that make sense? And the way this workshop is going to work, by the way, is I'm going to go through a lesson, a teaching to show you step by step how to raise your vibration to the next level. And then what I'm going to do is we're going to do a meditation for wiring this in that uses the power of group energy. There is a power when we all come together with a specific intention. And what happens is when we come together, we are able to unify our intentions together, to unify our energies together, to create a powerful shift in energy. Like how many of you just from being live right now can already feel the energy of all of us being here? Feels a little bit different than being that on a regular YouTube video.
Awesome.
So some— and I'll say this as well— a lot of what we see in society, a lot of what we see in the world, the media, that of social media even, what happens is these things keep us in a certain level of consciousness. And when we are thinking, feeling, and acting equal to a reactive state of consciousness, it keeps us playing small. It keeps us in a way addicted to the similar familiar patterns and energies from when we were a kid, and also just from what we are primed to with social conditioning. So what we are gonna be doing is looking at what are the energies, what is the vibration that we are embodying and how can we upgrade it to the next level? Does that make sense? And back in 2012, when I learned this, by the way, there are aspects of this. I'm gonna kind of take you through my journey of elevating my own vibration. And I wanna show you what were the things that made all the difference in the world. And what are the things I wish I knew then that if I knew now, it would have— if the things I know now, if I knew then, would have made it so much easier. So in essence, you may save a lot of time, a lot of energy through this process of understanding all of this. So with that being said, let's go ahead and get into it. Who's excited to get into understanding more about raising your vibration, what that actually means, how that will change your life from the inside out? Aaron said, you're not in Costa Rica. No, I go to Costa Rica in a couple of days. Awesome. So the, when I think about everything that I learned from raising my vibration, the first thing I wanna do is just share an analogy that I've shared many times before. But if you think about it as if a cork on the top of an ocean, you think of like a cork, you know, like a, like a, from a wine bottle or something. And if you think of that on top of the ocean, the surface of the water, and if you were to put pressure over the cork and hold it under the water, the cork, because of the resistance you put on it, is then under the surface of the water. Now, when it comes to raising vibration, it's the same as if there was a cork that was on top of the ocean. What do you have to do to get that cork to raise itself back up to that of the surface of the ocean? What do you have to do? Do you have to give it a whole bunch of affirmations? Just say, "Cork, you are worthy. You are good enough. You can do it." Do you have to do that?
No.
What you do is what? There, many of you already have it. You just let go. You let go of the resistance, the vibration naturally begins to raise, and as the vibration continues to raise by the cork going up to the surface of the ocean, there is the elevation happens. Well, in the same way, you are naturally at a high level of consciousness. It's your natural state of being. This is not something you need to try to do. You can go, I am worthy, I am worthy, I am worthy, I am abundant, I'm abundant, I'm abundant. But what we're gonna look at is what your core set point vibration is and how to transform it from the inside out. Because when you let go of the attachments When you let go of the things that have been on autopilot, that maybe even have just been familiar from the past, you then start to feel more free. You then start to see a completely new reality. Just like if you were in the resistance of underneath the ocean, like Little Mermaid or something, and then you went onto the, whatchamacallit, you went onto the land, it'd be a whole new world. I know that's an Aladdin song, but it would be a whole new world. And in the same way, when it comes to raising your vibration, there's literally a different level of consciousness that you experience as you go through this process, okay? Now, when I think about when I raise my vibration, my core level vibration, and I'm gonna show you step-by-step how to do this in a few, And then we're gonna do the meditation in a little bit. Yeah, Disney, it's in our collective consciousness. My favorite Disney movie was Lion King. That was the one that really hit home. I remember I cried when Simba's dad died. The other ones are good. I had this dream when I was a kid, when I was like 3 or 4 years old of The Little Mermaid, where I was like in Little Mermaid land. I woke up in the middle of the night and I was like, It was like one of those like things that happen when you're a kid, kind of freaks you out a little bit. But I remember this very visual of like Ursula floating around my room, scared the shit out of me. Anyways, but I digress. So back in, many of you know part of the story, I'm gonna go a little bit deeper here. But back in 2012, there was a certain point in 2012 where I felt completely stuck I felt like I was in Groundhog's Day. I was going to work every day. I was having the same kind of conversations. I was even having a manager that was very similar to someone from my past. And I felt stuck. I felt like in many ways, I also felt like a victim. I felt like there was this thing that happened when I was a kid and I didn't have much of a childhood because of the dynamics up until I was 17 years old. And because there was a lot of control in my life, I was recognizing in 2012 that I just wasn't where I wanted to be. I was getting up every day. And honestly, now that I think about it as well, when it comes to raising my dominant vibration, when I was taking Adderall, which is the prescription drug they give to people that have quote unquote ADHD, I was taking that. And then at the end of the day also, and I'll talk about this in a minute, there's certain things you do that lower your vibration. There's certain things you do that raise your vibration and it all depends on your energy and your beliefs. And I could definitely tell that I was very codependent back in 2012 on different substances. I would take Adderall during the day so that I could focus. And I would also then take, I would smoke cannabis at night so that I could eat and sleep. I was very much on this hamster wheel of doing this during the day, doing this at night. And I remember as well, sometimes people, yeah, with ADHD, you may feel one thing that happened is I think because from 7 to 17 years old, I didn't have much of a childhood in the sense that I had a lot of control in my life. So when my dad divorced my ex-stepmom when I was 17 and all of a sudden I had freedom, I wasn't allowed to really have a personality, like in the sense that like I wasn't really allowed to have, I wasn't allowed to have friends till I was 17. So I was kind of like in a way suppressed up until that time. So then when I'm having my 9 to 5 job selling women's shoes, I have all this energy and I had all of this, like I was so excited to just be myself. But part of being myself, I think because I was so wound up for so long is I had kind of like a ungrounded, very outgoing energy. But then what happened is going to work, working at Nordstrom's in women's shoes, sales job, people would come up to, or people would tell me like, Aaron, what's wrong with you? Why do you have so much energy? What's wrong with you? And then I would feel like there was something wrong with me, shame. And then I went to a doctor eventually after a certain amount of time, and that doctor said, oh, you have ADHD, here's Adderall. And then I took Adderall, and then it would really mellow me out while at work. I was able to really focus. And then the side effects of that were you couldn't eat very much, you couldn't sleep very much. So then what I would do is I would smoke the cannabis at night. So here I am on this hamster wheel for about a year, about 6 to 8 months. And one of the breaking points for me was I would only take my actual dose of what I was supposed to take of Adderall. But I remember going into work one day and I was helping a customer. And what happened was my hand was like twitching. Like tweaking out. And I remember looking at it like, why is my hand tweaking? And the customer looked at me and I could tell she was like, what is going on? And I was like, I need to figure something else out. Here I am taking Adderall during the day, smoking cannabis at night. I'm on this hamster wheel. I'm not happy with where I'm at. So then eventually I was like, there's gotta be something else other than the substances. That can help me with this? So what I found was I went online and I looked it up and I came across meditation. And basically what I read was the side effects of meditation included really positive things. It included being able to sleep good, being more in peace, feeling more like calm within yourself. So all of these things I read, I'm like, well, those all sound like really good side effects. So then what I ended up doing is learning meditation and it took me about 2 or 3 days before something really happened. Now this is when the first, this is the first moment when my vibration shifted the most. When this first happened, at least, this was like a complete game changer. Now, 1 or 2 days into meditation, I'd already learned that my thoughts influence my reality. But one of the challenges was that I felt like I was trying to control my mind. Have you ever like learned about the secret or the law of attraction or something? And then you're like, oh, don't think negative thoughts. My thoughts have so much power. If I think negative thoughts, something bad's gonna happen. But then what ends up happening is you're like, "Uh-oh, I better not think a negative thought." But then as you're trying not to think of negative thoughts, the negative thoughts come in. And then there's like a naughty part of yourself that's like, "What if I did think a negative thought? What if I did think about something I don't want?" Some weird sabotage energy there, right? So what happened? Is I ended up basically first 2 days of meditating, I was just in my head. It's like, don't think negative thoughts, don't think negative thoughts, don't think negative thoughts. But then on the 3rd day, I read somewhere the power of staring at a candle flame and observing your thoughts. So then what I did is I simply observed my thoughts from a neutral perspective. Instead of trying to control them, it was almost like I was at a park, sitting on a park bench, watching people, watching a dog walk by, but not chasing them and trying to control them. I know it's a funny analogy, but I just allowed my thoughts to be there. And as I allowed my thoughts to be there and I wasn't trying to control them, something very interesting happened. There was all of a sudden this spaciousness inside of myself. I started to understand and see my thoughts and realize that I may think thoughts, but I am not my thoughts. By allowing the thoughts to be there, there was less resistance inside of my body. And then what happened is I started to feel completely differently, completely different, literally like, within a few days, I started to feel so different. Now, this is when my vibration really shifted, I would say. And this is at the time I was living, at this time, 2012, I was living with my mom and my brothers and my sisters. And I lived a little bit outside of Vegas in like this house where I had my spiritual awakening basically. Basically, this also started the spiritual awakening process. But I remember, that I was walking around my room, I started to feel so different and I started to observe my thoughts and I started to feel this spaciousness inside of myself. And I'm gonna show you exactly how to have this same insight here in a second. But I remember walking around my room after about a week or two and I remember feeling inside of my body, before I felt on a majority of the time on a scale of 1 to 10, I was at about a 3 out of 10. With 3 feeling not that great, 1 feeling horrible, 10 feeling great, about a 3 out of 10. If I would smoke weed or I would drink, I'd go up to a 5, but then I would drop back down. And then I also felt trapped, I felt stuck, I was in a job I didn't like, I knew there were people in my life that reflected back certain patterns from my past. But then all this within a week or two of observing my thoughts, I went from a 3 out of 10 to a 7 or 8 out of 10. I literally felt high a majority of the time. And I thought, is this too good to be true? I thought, is this too good to be true? And I thought literally maybe this will go away, this feeling will go away. But what happened was that feeling stayed. Of course it fluctuated. There's times it'd go down to a 6 or a 5 if I was having a certain frustration day, but I wouldn't stay there. It was like my base point vibration went from a 3 to a 10 to a 7 out of 10. And it shifted everything. Now within 2 weeks of that happening, I completely got off Adderall and I completely stopped smoking cannabis. For cannabis, it took me like probably 2 or 3 weeks 'cause I kept going in my mind, I'm like, but I always do this, I do this with friends, this is the thing I do and blah, blah, blah. It was like this thing, but within 2 or 3 weeks, completely got off all substances and I felt completely different. And I believe now, knowing what I know and seeing what I've seen in my challenges and things like that, I believe now that you can feel high a majority of the time without any substances. You do not need weed, you do not need alcohol, you do not need, um, certain things. I mean, I'm not a doctor, so I'm not going to talk on like medications and stuff. I'm just saying I also understood for myself, this is my experience, I also viewed myself, part of my self-image, my inner self-image was that I have ADHD, there's something wrong with me. Instead, I learned how to meditate and how to ground myself, how to ground myself in nature. And that changed my energy, changed my identity. So when it comes to vibration, one of the biggest shifts you'll make, and we're gonna look at the scale here in a minute, who's familiar with this scale right here? This is a scale that comes from, there's a book called Levels of Energy. There's a book called Power vs. Force that uses a very similar scale. And I wanna show you a little bit about this, but the very first thing that will change so much for you if you learn how to like apply it, which is really simple, it's something called metacognition. Let's say that 10 times fast. I'm just kidding. Metacognition. It's actually not that hard to say. Metacognition is the ability, it's your ability to think thoughts and observe the thoughts, but know you're not your thoughts. Does that make sense? It's the ability to become aware of what you're thinking, Most of us live in complete reaction to everything happening in our world. We think thoughts and we think this is a fearful thought and most people are living under the emotions of survival. So when we talk about raising vibration, understand most people are caught up in the vibrations of survival and then they're trying to create a better life for themselves. They wanna feel more love, more peace, more purpose, but they still are anchored in the vibration of survival. And one of the reasons that is, is because that's the energy that's underneath the surface that has not been cleared yet. Some say, I love turtles. It's a funny video. So is this making sense? Is this resonating with your heart chakra? Does this make sense? Let me see, let me know. You guys with me? Okay. I'm gonna do a Q&A here in a little bit too after the meditation. It's okay that you can't see the board. The board is mainly for me, but I'll move it up here in a sec. So let's talk a little bit about vibrations. That's one of the first shifts. One of the first shifts is when you become aware you may think thoughts, but you are not your thoughts. When I had that shift back in 2012, it changed so much about me. But then there was a later shift that also changed things. But understand the people you surround yourself with affect your vibration. The environment you're in affects your vibration. The energies from your past that are on autopilot affect your vibration. Now, one of the major shifts you will experience and one of the major shifts I experienced back in 2012 was when I was able to let go of my past and to realize that my past was not happening to me. What happened in the past was happening for me. Because what happened is after I had that metacognition awareness of observing my thoughts and I started feeling different, I became aware that, oh my God, this manager is the same personality as my ex, as the energy when I was growing up with my ex-stepmom. Wow. And I had so much resentment for so long towards that situation. There was definitely like a victimhoodness. Of when I was like, why did all of this happen? But it kept attracting me to similar people in my life. And toxic people in your life may reflect back a certain energy that has been on autopilot since childhood until you process it, become aware of it, and let it go. But once I became aware of this, I started to see that these things that used to, there used to be like a victimhood mentality over it. This all happened to me, I was then grateful for it because I realized it led me to that metacognition spiritual awakening. And when that happened, there was a forgiveness that happened. We'll talk about that in a minute. But when that happened, that was when that manager left my life within 2 weeks of having this shift in energy. But one of the major things that shifts is when you believe that the outside affects the inside, and it's not the other way around where the inside affects the outside. That's a major shift with raising your vibration. Huge, huge. 'Cause most people are in reaction, they're in survival mode to everything that's happening. So just to, let's move, let me get through some of the content. We'll go back to some other stuff. We'll do the meditation here in a little bit, okay? And a little Q&A. So let's look right here at the scale of consciousness, okay? It is not 100% that you need to understand this whole thing or see every little thing that I'm doing right now. I'm gonna explain it to you. This is called the scale of consciousness. This was used, this was created using something called kinesiology, which has to do with muscle testing to understand truth. And the idea is that our subconscious mind is connected to our body and we can find out these different pieces of information. And this is a very practical book of that of Power vs. Force. But in general, you'll see that at the bottom, these are lower vibrational emotions and at the top are higher vibrational emotions. So you have shame, guilt, fear, anger, want, courage, neutrality, willpower, acceptance, meaning and purpose, and love. Now, there will be music that will resonate at certain frequencies, at certain energies. Think about the music of some of the— you think about want. What are a lot of music about, right? Like people wanting things. I want love, I want abundance, I want, I want, I want. I yearn for it, energy of lack. It's a certain energy though. Then you have that of you look down, shame. Shame is I'm broken, there's something wrong with me. Guilt, guilt is I might be a good person, but I messed up, I did something wrong. Fear may keep you in the old identity, keep you from taking action, keeping you from going into the unknown. Courage is a huge stepping point. Courage is where you have the courage to express yourself. It's where you have the courage to step into your power versus all this down here. Now, willpower, when you start getting into personal development, you might be more at the vibration of willpower, willing things to happen. Then you have that of acceptance, accepting the moment, accepting things out there as they are. Doesn't mean being passive. It just means there's a general acceptance and less forcing, less trying to force things to happen. Above that, you have meaning and purpose, meaning and purpose. Sometimes this level's called reasoning. Your beliefs create your reality. When you understand your beliefs create your reality, that's more of the level of meaning and purpose. And also when you start following your purpose and following your excitement, you're at that higher level. And then of course, love. Love, the vibration of who you naturally are. So remember though, to move up the scale, what do you do? It's like the cork on the ocean. These lower vibrational emotions that you may have gotten from when you were a kid or something, or you may have been primed or conditioned from social conditioning, all you gotta do is become aware of them and let them go, and then your vibration naturally raises. When I think of that, of like certain enlightened people even, 'cause above love is joy, peace, and enlightenment. And there's certain enlightened people that have said that enlightenment is almost like a joke, that people are trying so hard to be enlightened. It's like a cork that's trying so hard to get to the top of the surface of the ocean. It just wants to go so bad and it's doing all the right things, it's got the discipline, I am worthy, I am worthy, I'm worthy. I'm enlightened, I'm enlightened, enlightened. When it's funny because what Osho and other people who've had enlightening experiences have said is that they laugh hysterically because they realize how stupid the whole thing is. They realize it's your natural state of being once you let go. And then your vibration naturally begins to raise. It's something you naturally are from like a baby even. Think of a baby. Is a baby worthy? Wouldn't we all say like a baby, a pure baby, all babies are pure, but it's just a bundle of love. Would you put headphones on a baby that says, "I am worthy, I am worthy, I am worthy"? No, you don't need to. You don't need to program, "I am worthy," because worthy is just a human concept. Shame is the belief there's something wrong with me This happens as a result of a certain meaning, certain childhood experience where a kid internalizes something that happens. And then that shame stays on autopilot. So for example, when you were young, maybe your parents divorced. And when your parents divorced, what do kids think when something like that happens? Many times kids will internalize it and say, there's something wrong with me. Maybe if I was better, my parents would've stayed together. So it's this false belief that we build. We believe the shame, there's something wrong with me, and that energy stays on the inside. And understand that these energies will play themselves out in your life until you become aware of them and process them. So remember these bottom level emotions right here of want, fear, guilt, shame, These are generally, the perspective is things are happening to me. Things are happening to me. Does that make sense? Things are happening to me. Things happened to me in the past. Things are happening to me now. And this energy of things happening to me keeps people locked in low vibrational energy. In 2012, when I learned meditation and I started observing my past and I forgave my ex-stepmom, that was when my life really began to shift. In a weird way, I was grateful for everything because I realized maybe that without that, I wouldn't have gone through my spiritual awakening. So many of you have been through a spiritual awakening. You normally need pressure to then go through a spiritual awakening. So maybe part of that pressure for you happened because of that, of leading you to your spiritual awakening later on. Does that make sense?
Does this resonate with your heart chakra?
So this is where things are happening to me And then these, so then when I talk about my experience with metacognition, the level of neutrality is where you learned how to observe things. They're not good, they're not bad, they just are. When I observed my thoughts in 2012, shifted so much of my life. Then I started to become aware of my beliefs about reality. Then this middle section right here, there's another huge shift in vibration that happens at meaning and purpose where you become aware that your beliefs create your reality and also you start start to follow your purpose. You start to get a why. And this level right here is where things are happening for me. Everyone type in, for me. Things are not happening to me, things are happening for me. And when things are happening for you, it's a very different energy, it's a very different story. You move from victim to someone that's empowered. When that shift happened for me in 2012, it shifted so much about my vibration. So, and then the very top level of love, joy, peace, and enlightenment, life is happening through you, through me. So you've got through me, for me, to me. Through you is where when you get into a passionate state, it just flows through you. It's not so connected to the ego. Now understand that our ego in our reality is something that we have and we can learn to work with in the sense that our ego just wants us to survive. It wants us to survive. And sometimes surviving means staying in familiar energy. So until we become aware of the ego also, it believes so much in separation. The ego just wants to survive. Now there's this divine energy that could be going into your avatar, your who you are. But if you only identify with the ego, which is only identified with survival, and you stay trapped in the old stories of things are happening to me, you will stay trapped in those energies for a long time. Because I felt like I was a victim from my past, I kept attracting people into my life to replay those same energetic patterns in my life, even as an adult, until I, claimed my power and I let go of that old victim identity, I was locked in that old reality. Does that make sense? So this is a huge part of the process. Now observe rather than react, that's a huge part of the process is of having a simple meditation practice every day where you meditate, you observe your thoughts. Every day for 5 or 10 minutes, I observe my thoughts, right? When I wake up and right before I go to bed, I normally do it. I stare at a candle flame because my eyes focused on one spot, I found allows my mind not to wander so much. Years later, I was in a Bikram yoga class and the teacher was saying, eyes that wander, is a mind that wanders. And I thought to myself, oh, that's just like, I think that's why staring at a candle flame, when your eyes are on one vortex, on one part, it's so much easier to stay focused. But when the eyes are constantly moving around, every time your eyes move around too, you access different parts of your brain. So like, if I ask you to remember something from your past, like, What is one memory you have when you were in the third grade? Where do your eyes go? Do they go down and to the left? Down and to the right? Do they go up? Where do your eyes go? Your eyes are very connected to the patterns of your brain. Ezra says, "I just close my eyes." "Left," Jade says. Yeah, for me, I'll go down to the left. Some people say up to the left. I mean, this is getting kind of technical. This also has to do with how you perceive of information. Some people are auditory, some people are kinesthetic, meaning they feel, some people are more visual. That will also depend on which vortex you look at, but those are accessing different parts of your brain. Yeah, down and to the left will probably be for most of you, but it can also shift. So the eyes focus on one spot. Basically, the point of that is the eyes focus on one spot, makes it a lot easier to stay focused. Now, the next tool I wanna share with you is one that is called reframe. Can everyone type in the chat reframe? One of the most powerful things you can use to heal is when you understand that you give things meaning. Things that happen to you in the past, you can decide what they mean. Reframing is when you change an old meaning. Reframe. Learning to reframe the past, reframe meanings of the past helps you to process and to get out of the lower vibrational emotions. I will say too, before I move on too quick, processing the past emotions is also very powerful. You don't have to intellectually understand them, but if you allow yourself to feel them, you allow them to release. Has anyone ever done breathwork? Breathwork is very powerful. With breathwork, you allow yourself to let the emotions come up to be felt and to be released. Now, one thing I will be doing, by the way, I don't know if any of you have heard, some of you may be from my new community. I have a new free community. It's completely free. I do live meditations just like this, live workshops. There's a community in there. It is on that. I'm gonna go ahead and link it below. Actually, I think it's in the chat or not in the chat. It's in the, the description. And basically, it's my new community where we're going to be doing things just like this. And there's a meditation in there for the inner child, self-image. But in general, I'm going to be also eventually adding a piece of breathwork in there, some type of breathwork that you can do, because breathwork is so powerful. So For this, for understanding what we're talking about, feeling it to heal it is very powerful because you allow it to come up inside of your body to be released. The next step is observing rather than reaction. You know, when people are reacting to the media, also think about the media and a lot of the things in our society. If you keep people in fear and anger, they're much easier to control. They're controlled by the emotions of survival. Observing allows you to not so much react. And one of the next steps is understanding the power of reframe, reframing old meaning. Reframing old meaning and understanding that you can give new meaning to past things and completely shift your life. Like what if your parents didn't divorce when you were a kid because you weren't good enough? What if your parents divorced when you were a kid because maybe they just weren't right for each other? Or maybe your soul just knew that you wanted two Christmases. You got double the amount of gifts. You can have fun with it. Don't have to be so serious. But in general, you can reframe these things that happened. And when you reframe things, what's something that you've reframed before? Maybe something that happened in the past, could be something more traumatic or what we consider to be trauma, you know? But you give something a new meaning, you will get a new response, a new, like, think about it, like your vibration, it's almost like a radio dial. It is like a radio dial. So what happens is people might be on a certain station of like 98.5 FM, and they feel stuck, they feel blocked, and they wanna experience what's on 111.1 FM. But what happens is they both exist at the same moment. But the key is you have to shift your frequency to perceive of that station. What most people do is they try to create 111.1 FM in 98.5 FM. You just have to shift your energy. It already exists. You just have to let go of the resistance, the static, and you'll naturally begin to shift into it. Now, let's look at the— So the power of the reframe is just simply giving something that you used to give an old meaning, and you can ask yourself the question, what would I believe is true to be experiencing this? It's a good question. How do you permanently change your frequency? Permanently changing your frequency is a matter of a choice to let something go and to be a new version of yourself. It could also be a new insight. It could be instead of observing, instead of reacting to the thoughts and believing in the past, to more so letting it go and having a new insight where you realize you are who you choose to be right now in the present moment. The past does not have to hold you back any longer unless you believe it has to. Now, if you say it can't be that easy, Aaron, it can't be that easy to let go of the past, well, Sometimes what happens is there is something called payoffs. Now we have these things called positionalities in the book "Power vs. Force," these perspectives that emphasize our ego. So it's like if I were to let go of my painful past, I would then be letting go of the childhood I never had and I need to feel right about this. One of the biggest ego drives there is, 'cause remember the ego just wants to survive, is the ego wants to be right. The ego also many times may be addicted to these lower vibrational emotions. So it continues to create experiences of feeling guilt, experiences of feeling shame. This is why some people may sabotage themselves over and over again. And a huge insight, a huge epiphany happens when you make the choice to have the courage to let go of the survival emotions, to allow yourself to feel them. But permanently changing your vibration is a huge part of understanding meaning and that you don't have to let the past hold you back any longer. You are who you choose to be right now. You are who you choose to be right now. Every moment you're a new version of yourself. And if you continue to tell yourself the same story over and over and over and over and over again, you will continue to get the same result over and over and over and over again. At any moment, you can make a new choice about who you are. Now, if you're arguing with me right now in your head, if you're arguing with this, you might be arguing because you're fighting for the past rationalizations of the victimhoodness, the right of the past. You wanna be right that things weren't fair. For a long time, I had a belief that things in my life aren't fair because my childhood, there were things that weren't fair. So funny enough, childhood, things aren't fair. There's, in a way, corporate politics, I guess you could say, in my childhood where if I were to say anything about what was happening in the household to a therapist or to someone at school, I would get more punished. There was nothing I could do. It just wasn't fair. And then during my 2012, when I went through my awakening, I'm working in a job where the manager is protected by upper management, by HR. Anytime someone from the department would complain about her because she'd get away with saying crazy things and like treating people a certain way, they would get in more trouble. Things weren't fair. So childhood things weren't fair, adulthood things weren't fair. In childhood, if you say something to someone else, you get punished more. In adulthood, at this 9 to 5 job, if you say something to someone, You get in more trouble, you get the schedule you don't want, you've gotta close more often. Stuck, stuck in the past, recreating it. So a huge shift happens when you're able to let go of the victimhoodness mentality of things are happening to me. And instead you realize things are happening for you. And a huge part of this as well is the power of forgiveness. Everyone type in forgiveness, forgiveness. When you forgive, that's by the way, in A Course in Miracles, a book called A Course in Miracles, a lot of spiritual texts say that it's actually not even letting go that raises your vibration, it's just forgiveness. If you just forgive the people from your past, because think about it, the people and the resentments you have towards people in your life from the past are in your energetic field. And then you are replaying those with other people in your life, whether you're aware of it or not. So if things weren't fair as a kid, but for example, mom and dad may represent, this is a whole, how deep do we wanna go in this live? How deep do we want to go? So much of healing from what I've experienced in my life and then also from what I've noticed through 30,000+ people that I've coached in challenges and things like that is that our relationship with our parents very powerfully affects our relationship with life. How you relate to mom may reflect in how you relate to relationships in general. Any resentments you have with mom, any ways mom didn't meet your needs as a kid may be reflective in your patterns of relationship, of feeling nurtured, of creativity. With dad, dad many times may represent the energy of safety, of protection, of purpose. So if you have resentment towards dad, resentment towards that energy in your life, you might have challenges with purpose, with money, with abundance, with feeling safe. The family dynamic that you have is where many times you gain certain stories about yourself and how you relate to life. If you have a problem with authority in general and you don't trust authority, maybe because you don't trust parents, you might find that that plays itself out in life. See, as kids, we think our parents were forms of God. They're these giants. Imagine you're a little baby and there is this giant that is 50 times your size or something like that. But instead of thinking maybe mom and dad didn't have things figured out in certain ways, if there's shame there, we take it on as a burden of our own. We say there's something wrong with me. And then we carry that around with us everywhere we go because our parents are our basis of survival. We don't want to think that they're bad because we rely on them. So we'd start this internal soup of like all this stuff is like, there's something wrong with me. What did I do wrong? I'm not worthy. And that's where it can start. Forgiveness is where you start realizing and you start letting go of the resentments. You realize that your parents are not to blame. Your parents were also just playing out energies they learned growing up. In 2012, when I really forgave my ex-stepmom, a lot of it came because I realized her dad treated her the same way she treated my brother and I. Made it a lot easier for me to forgive. Now you could say, you say, well, "There's some horrible things that happened and it doesn't make it right." I'm not saying make it right, it makes it right. I'm saying it makes you understand more. And when you can understand people are always doing the best they can with the level of consciousness they're at, there's a big relief that can happen. Now, the other side of this is you decide, "No, I'm not healing, I'm not letting this go." Well, what happens is you end up carrying it in your energetic field. And when you meet other people, they are reflecting that energy back in your field. You're not forgiving just for them, you're forgiving for yourself. At the deepest fundamental level though, reality really is only you anyways. Maybe we'll save that for a different video. So anyways, forgiveness is realizing people are doing the best they can with where they're at. Maybe you understand some of the patterns in your life. I'm not telling you to blame mom and dad and to look for this like crazy traumatic childhood in your past. I'm saying, Understand everyone's doing the best they can with where they're at. But if you have a story of blame towards mom and dad, you will then in your life now probably have a story of blame about other people, a blame towards God, a blame towards your boyfriend or girlfriend or husband or wife or kids. So what I encourage you to do is to take ownership and responsibility for what you believe to be true. Take owner— that's where you really raise your dominant vibration permanently forever. Is you realize that everything in your life you can take responsibility for. Now, what is responsibility? It's your ability to respond. That's it. Instead of reactivity, responsibility. You take responsibility. Yes, things happen to you in the past. However, you get to choose what it means to you now. You get to choose what you do with it now. So forgiveness is a huge part of the shift in consciousness. And it's really, according to A Course in Miracles and other processes, the thing— exactly, generational cycle breakers. Man, I have so many tangents. I could go off in different directions, but I don't wanna make this a 3-hour-long call. We'll do more. Like I said, we're gonna do more like this. I haven't decided yet whether I'm gonna keep doing them on YouTube Live like this or I'm gonna do them in Zoom. I like Zoom. I feel more myself in Zoom sometimes. So if you join that group that I mentioned, I'll pitch to it, I'll like give you the link at the end, it's free, but I'll probably be putting Zoom links in there in the future. It's more interactive. This is cool though. But then I'll post clips on that on my YouTube channel or something. So I'm gonna answer questions in a little bit as well. However, that's another aspect of this forgiveness. And then lastly, purpose and being it. When I started in 2017 being the new version of myself, making YouTube videos, I was passionate about it. It completely changed the trajectory of my life. When you start doing what you love also, when you talk about like things happening through you, When you're doing what you love, a big part of me making videos in 2017 is I wanted to add value to other people. I wanted to help other people. I wanted to help people break out of their box because I felt like I was living in a box for so long, whether it was the box of my past or it was the box of the 9-to-5 job I hated. I love helping people break out of the box to see what's possible. And when I was making videos in 2017, 17, I made it about how can I add value? Now, when you want to add value to other people, that's when things start happening through you. You make it not about you, but about everyone else. You make it about how you can add value to other people. The universe will move through you. The more divine and the more intention you have, to let the divine flow through you. 'Cause ultimately that's who you are. You're a divine spiritual being who's forgotten you're a divine spiritual being. You may believe you are this separate ego, this ego that wants to survive and wants to stay familiar. The ego, everything is happening to you. It's more of a victim mentality. It also has all of these desires and wants, and it wants to be successful and it wants to gain more and it wants things for material gain. And what happens is people stay stopped They say they stay stuck in that vibration. So a huge shift happens when you realize you are an eternal spiritual being living a temporary human experience. These things did not happen to you. These things happened for you. At a deeper level of consciousness, you came here to forget who you are, to remember who you are. You planned it all, whether you realize it or not. And I say that and you say, well, Aaron, you don't know what's happened to me. Even the bad things. You're an eternal spiritual being. You are such a vast spiritual being that has the ability to go through whatever you've gone through so that you can grow and come out even stronger. And when you realize that things are happening for you, you then start moving in a powerful direction that will shift your vibration very powerfully. But then not even just staying there, let it happen through you. If I didn't go through my spiritual awakening in 2012, if I didn't go through 5, 6 years of having a job I hated, if I didn't go through that of things are happening for me, I had a, do I wanna get this whole story? I had a, in 2016, One of the reasons I went all in on YouTube was because I got pulled into the office with managers, with a store manager, a department manager, and an HR manager. And I got told that if I was ever on my phone again at a job where it's completely slow and I sell, you know, women's shoes, I was in this back stockroom on my phone while someone else was on the sales floor. We would take turns. It was just so slow. And most of our business is done through our, most of the business was done through our phones anyways. I get pulled up to the office and shown a video, a projector of me and two of me on my phone. They could see what I'm scrolling on my phone. And after about a minute or two with the managers there, I knew they were writing me up for being on my phone. They were just cracking down on it. What I eventually did, is I was like, okay, if you're gonna write me up, then just write me up. They're like, no, we want you to watch this whole video. We wanna let it sink in for you. And what happened is I said, and then another minute, imagine for 5 minutes watching a video of you silently on your phone with 2 other adults or 3 adults. It was awkward. In that moment though, after 2 minutes, I said, you can write me up if you're gonna write me up, but I'm not watching this whole video. They ended up writing me up. And it was this very experience where I felt very demeaned. I felt like, felt a specific way about it. And I felt like so demoralized or so talked down to that I said, you know what? One day I'll work for myself. No one will talk to me this way. I'll work for myself and I won't have to deal with this corporate politic BS. So you wanna know what happened? I committed to the daily videos on YouTube. That maybe happened for me instead of to me. There are many times people may lose a job. It's the worst thing that ever happened to me. Is it? Did you even like your job? Could there be something better out there for you? You get to decide what things mean and you get to decide. So one person, let's say two people lose a job. One person said, this is the worst thing that ever happened. It means I'm not worthy, all of these things. Someone else loses a job. They say, you know what? I wasn't even that passionate about the job. There's something else I actually wanna pursue. There's something better out there for me. Same thing happened, different meaning, therefore different reality. Does that make sense? So when it comes to raising your vibration, it's simply about making a new choice about who you are and understanding that every moment you're a new you. Every moment you're a new you. Every moment you're a new you. If you continue to create the same energies of the past, you're choosing to create the same energy of the past 'cause it feels familiar. And it's funny because you're creating a new version of you that just is a copy of the past because of your insistence on your story that things are happening to you instead of for you or through you. So that's a huge part of the shift in energy. So now what we're gonna do is we're gonna do a guided meditation on using what's called an OM activation. An OM activation is where we're gonna connect to the group energy. We've got over 1,000 people here right now. Even if you're listening to this after it's been live, you're gonna connect to that group energy. But what we're gonna do now is we are going to elevate our own vibration by wiring in everything we learned in this live. How does that sound? And then I'm gonna go into a Q&A. Okay? Then I'm gonna go into Q&A. Here we go. Moving this down now. Because when I meditate, if I meditate standing, it's a little bit weird, right? What if I pass out? What if I ascend into the fifth dimension? I'm not here anymore. And then this live just goes on for many, many days until someone comes here. I'm just kidding. So Who is excited to do this meditation, do the group activation? Okay, so real quick, I need to do a couple quick things. The first thing I'm gonna do is, let's see, can you hear this? How is the, one sec. One moment. How is the sound for this? How does the sound— can you hear the music? Can you hear the music?
I need to see what it sounds like.
Does my voice sound buttery smooth?
Is it a buttery smooth voice?
And can you hear— does it— is the music— can you hear the music with my voice? The important thing is that the music is not overpowering my voice. We see a 1 if so. Okay, cool. So what we're going to do now is we're going to go into a quick OM activation. This is a meditation where we are going to connect to the group energy. And what we're going to do— and what we're going to do is take a couple deep breaths in and out together. Does the music sound okay? I did turn it up. Okay, here we go. Let's go ahead right now and take a deep breath in through our nose.
Let it all go.
Take another deep breath in through your nose.
Let it all go.
And go ahead now and close your eyes.
And with every breath you take, allow your body to relax more and more. Imagine now a ball of energy, any color you like, and imagine wherever you bring this ball of energy, you relax that part of your body. Bring that ball of energy to behind your eyelids and imagine melting away any stress. Bring that ball of energy now to your jaw. Feel your jaw loosen up and relax. Bring it now to your neck. And feel your neck loosen up and relax. Bring that energy into your left arm, your left hand, your right arm. Your right hand. Bring it into your heart and ask for your heart to open up more and more. Bring that ball of energy now down your spine, into your hips, into your left leg and foot, your right leg and foot. And imagine now any excess energy leaving through the heels of your feet. And now imagine to your right is that of a trunk of a box that you can put anything that's been on your mind in. The lid is open, and imagine yourself putting an object in this box, something that represents Whatever has been on your mind— if it's money, you could put a wallet in the box. If it's a person, you can put a photo or something that reminds you of them in the box. Go ahead and put whatever it is into the box, and go ahead now and close the top of the lid. And as you do, you see a light come out of the brim, knowing it is transmuting whatever the energy is. And then turn away from the box now and imagine now you are in a very sacred place in nature. Find an environment that feels relaxing to you. This can be a place you've been or a place in your imagination, but go to this place now. Look around in this place. What do you see? Imagine those colors becoming brighter and brighter. What What sounds can you hear in this sacred place? Imagine those sounds becoming louder and louder. How do you feel? Now, in this sacred place You're able to activate energy inside of your body, and you're also able to influence your subconscious mind. Imagine in front of you, about 10 to 15 feet away, is that of a chair. And this chair represents being able to activate energy inside of your body in a very powerful way. Now go ahead and take a step towards this chair, and with every step you take, you feel yourself feeling more and more relaxed. More and more certain that you can let go more and more. Take another step now. Every step feeling more relaxed. 5 more steps now. 5, 4, closer towards the this chair now. 3, 2, and 1. Now go ahead and sit down in this chair, and as you do, notice how it feels. Now call upon your spiritual guides, your higher self, to assist you in raising your vibration. See if there's a message from your higher self or spiritual guides, maybe an object they give you that represents something significant in your life? Is there a message or an object? And now your higher self, spiritual guides, want to show you what it's time to let go of. In this chair, look to the left. You can see who you've been in the past. That represents some of the survival energy, the lower vibrational qualities that you want to let go of. What do you see? What can you let go of? And imagine now your higher self lets you know you can let it go. And imagine it drifting away, that image of you drifting away into black and white. Drifting away to where you can't even see it anymore. And now your higher self, spiritual guides, let you know there's a higher vibrational version of you you can embody. And imagine to your right Your higher self and spiritual guides show you what this version of you looks like, sounds like, moves like. What do you see? How does that version of you act? Carry themselves. Does this version of you have more fun? Does this version of you trust the course of your life? Now imagine now this image you see Imagine it turning into a ball of energy, and with the help of your higher self and spiritual guides, imagine that ball of energy getting brought into your heart. And now your higher self, spiritual guides, let you know it's time to increase the energy of love in your heart. Set the intention now to open up the energy coming from the sky into the crown of your head, into your heart, grounding itself into the planet. And ask for assistance from your higher self and spiritual guides in feeling this love more and more. And imagine now a dial on the right of this chair, on the armrest. And right now It's at 0, and you're gonna move it one notch at a time up to 10. And with every number I count, you will feel this energy increase inside of your body more and more. Now go ahead and move the dial now to 1. Increasing that energy inside of your body. Allow yourself to let the energy expand beyond your heart. Whatever you feel or don't feel is perfect, and every number I count will double that sensation inside of your heart. With 2, Imagine that spinning sensation in your heart, beginning to feel it more and more. Moving that dial now to 3, doubling that sensation again, allowing yourself to feel. 4, double that sensation again. Your consciousness is expanding more and more. 5, double that sensation again, knowing it's okay to feel. 6, that ball of energy spinning faster and faster, doubling that sensation again. 7, feel it more and more. 8. Your consciousness is expanding more and more. The energy around your heart is expanding more and more. 8, 9. Double that sensation again. Put your hands over your heart now and allow yourself to feel with 10 Breathe in that love. Take a deep breath in through your nose. Let it all go. Let yourself feel and receive the love. Let yourself feel it now. Love is who you naturally are. From this point moving forward, you will feel as the highest vibrational version of you. You will notice things in your life shift, and it's easier to let go of what no longer serves you. Set the intention to experience a breakthrough in the next week, something that majorly shifts your energy, your vibration, permanently. And that when it happens, you know it, and you know what it is. And set the intention that everyone else here doing the meditation and everyone listening to the meditation afterwards experiences that transformation too. And as you do it for them, they do it for you. And now we're going to use the power of Om. It's a frequency that allows us to integrate all this energy around us, to emanate out into the field, and and to wire in everything we just mentioned and looked into. All you have to do is follow my lead. We're gonna do the frequency of Om together. Go ahead and take a deep breath in through your nose, and on the out-breath, Om with me. Take a deep breath in through your nose. Feeling that energy expand beyond your body. Open up your heart. Open up new opportunities. Do one more Om. Take a deep breath in through your nose. Feeling that energy expand more and more. Let that energy expand beyond your body. And know from this point moving forward, you are a new version of you. I'm gonna count now from 10 to 1. By the time I reach 1, you will feel alert, present inside of your body and in your heart. Knowing you've shifted to a new you. 10, bring the awareness inside of your body. 9, back into the here and now. 8, 7, 6, feeling your energy come back now. 5, into your hands and your feet. 4, into your arms and your legs. 3, into your spine. 2, 1, you can open up your eyes now. Good. And open up your eyes. How do you feel? How do you feel? How was that meditation raising your vibration? Is something that happens the more you let go. Some people say they feel liberated. Some people say they feel namaste, happy, amazing, marvelous, crying, amazing, I'm ascended into the fifth dimension.
Just kidding.
Amazing. Energy moving. Great.
Well, now what I'm going to do is if you can put in a question, if you have any questions, I'm going to do a little Q&A for a little bit. It's turning to quiet.
And then reminder, if you haven't joined the free community yet, it's off of Facebook. It's where we're going to be doing live workshops just like this, live meditations just like this. There's a community, it's more of a safe space.
And it's completely free. It's called Awareness Unity Meditations.
It's the links in my bio on YouTube. But if you have any questions, go and put them in.
See, will this heavy energy be lifted? Well, the more you feel the more you heal. So if you're allowing yourself to feel more, it can be lifted. But my question to you is, how, how much longer do you need to carry— do you want to carry that with you? If you let yourself feel it, you let yourself heal it. Of course, we don't want to feel negative emotions sometimes, but it's the key. It's the key. There's so many times in my life where when I felt something, it's like it healed from my energetic field. Let's see. Let's see. That's a good question. Where is it? I spend time every day bringing it up. Does that let it go? There's a certain point you do. Sometimes people, you know, I talk a lot about past and becoming aware of the childhood patterns and things. I think sometimes though, going into it too much, going to it all the time, trying to find more childhood trauma, trying to find stuff, you end up getting caught up inside of it. Personally, I believe that's what you can do is become aware of it, but then to let it go, to let go of the story, There's even a new version of psychology I've been studying. It's called Adlerian psychology. There's a book called The Courage to Be Disliked. And Alfred Adler, one of the godfathers of psychology with Carl Jung and Freud, he had something— there's something called Adlerian psychology. And a big part of it is that normally we believe in something called etiology. Etiology means that the past cause equals the present effect. He believed that more so in something called teleology. Teleology means that the past does not have to equal the present. The past is just the meaning we give to the past that continues to keep it active in the present moment right now. But it's almost like an opinion. It's like a specific perspective you have, you can let it go. And that when you let it go, you then realize that every moment you're a new you, every moment you're a new you. It's more so we're driven by not what happens in the past, but what is our present moment goals. And what quantum physics shows us, by the way, is every time we remember something from the past, we take it out of the memory bank, we look at a memory, we change it, and we put it back. So maybe it's not actually what we really think happened in the past, It's constantly changing. It's constantly changing every time you remember it. Is it normal to fall asleep? Does it still work? It does, but the more— it still works because it's influencing the subconscious, but being present with the energy, it's okay if you do fall asleep. There's really no right or wrong way to meditate. Some of you be like, I've been meditating my whole life for 8 hours a night because I sleep. Let's see. Do small body modification like piercing can affect your energy chakra, etc.? Ultimately, let's talk a little bit about this. Like, when it comes to energy, when it comes to music, when it comes to many different things in our life, the main thing that is affected is your perception. It's the meaning you give things. If someone believes getting a piercing is going to elevate their vibration, it's their part of their highest excitement, and then they do it and they feel amazing, it will affect that person's energy very differently than someone that does it maybe because of peer pressure, or maybe this does it then feels guilty about it. It'll affect their energies differently. For one person, certain type of music may lower your vibration, and for another person, it may raise their vibration. Not 'cause one person's higher vibe than another, but how does that music make the person feel? Maybe someone feels nostalgic when they listen to certain music that other people listen to and they're like, how do you even listen to this? Ultimately, beliefs create reality. So it depends on what you believe to be true about yourself. Depends on what you believe. Will you experience low vibe things after shifting to a higher vibration but slipping into low vibration temporarily? Absolutely. This happens a lot. As you're shifting into the higher vibrational you, it's almost like because you're in a higher vibrational state of awareness, you actually become aware of a lot of things that have been hidden in the shadows. I would say that right now on the planet, we are in a higher vibrational state than we were 10 years ago, even though it may look more chaotic than 10 years ago. What happens is it brings the subconscious stuff up to the surface. And so that's kind of what's happening in the world. There's like, there's always been crazy stuff happening under the surface. It's just that now the public, we're more aware of it because we're getting to ask ourselves, do we want to continue to live like this? Now, in the same way in our own life, as you raise your vibration, you're gonna become aware of a whole bunch of things that no longer serve you. You're gonna become aware of relationships that may not serve any longer, toxic things that have been in your life. You'll see your engagement with those toxic things, like what part of yourself feels familiar with it. You may beat yourself up. The important thing is not to beat yourself up and think there's something wrong with you. So slipping into low vibration, you're gonna isolate, oscillate for a while. But the key is understanding it's just part of the process. It's just part of the process. Let's see. "I'm an empath, how do I detach?" So being an empath or someone that can feel other people's energy, understand that part of being an empath was that as a kid, it may have been a survival mechanism as a kid to tune to other people because tuning to other people as a kid, you were then able to see how do I need to be so that I, remain safe. If I act a certain way, mom and dad won't approve of me or there'll be more tension in the family. So empaths tend to be people that can feel other people's energy that take on the responsibility for other people's emotions and energies because they believe it's their responsibility for them to cause no tension in other people's lives. Now, one thing that I do believe is that sometimes the empath label, people say, I'm an empath, I'm an empath, I'm an empath. There's all these connotations to it. They kind of stay stuck in it. It's not bad or good to be an empath, it just is. However, the thing to become aware of as an empath is what is your responsibility and what is other people's responsibility? If you include the circle of influence around you to include that, of other people's emotions and energies, because as a kid you felt responsible for mom, dad, and your brother and sister's energies, you will continue to take that responsibility and that burden with you everywhere you go. And you will then internalize things and you will feel the burden. So detaching is about understanding what is your stuff to deal with and what is other people's stuff to deal with. You may also get an energetic high from dealing with and being responsible for other people's stuff. This is why people sometimes attract people they feel like they need to fix. If I fix you, then no one else will fix you. No one else will hold this much space for you. So I make myself indispensable. It's a common thing people who want to fix people do. Now, the thing is, is people that try to fix other people, they're also implying something else is wrong with other people. but also they're getting something from it. They're getting the validation, the approval, maybe even the codependency of someone else. Become aware of why you feel responsible for other people's emotions and energies, and then separate yourself. One of the most powerful things is subject-object, learning how to individuate, feel safe in your own body. That's something I have a meditation. Maybe I'll make a whole entire section inside that of the new community that I have. Of the frame technique to show you exactly how to do this for empaths. It'll be completely free inside the group. So with that, if you wanna join that group, it's completely free. I'll be going live there. Thank you everyone for being a part of this live today. And yeah, I hope to see you on the inside of the group. Other than that, yeah, there's meditations in there. There's past workshops in there, meditations that weren't on YouTube. But other than that, yeah, I had a lot of fun with all of you today. I'm gonna go ahead and go now. I've got some stuff I gotta do the rest of the day. I go to Costa Rica in a couple days. Let me know if you want me to do more of these, maybe comment below this video and let me know. I might end up doing these eventually on Zoom and then posting clips of it on the main YouTube channel, but doing them in Zoom 'cause it's more interactive, a little different. I got like 3 screens here right now for this YouTube, but we'll see. So anyways, hope you guys all enjoyed. And as always, peace, much love, and namaste.
