In this video Aaron Doughty explains how to harness the power of expectation to improve outcomes when applying the Law of Attraction. He begins by describing the paradox of holding strong expectations while remaining unattached to specific results, emphasizing that this balance is essential for the process to work. Doughty argues that most daily thoughts run on autopilot, recycled from previous days, and that changing these habitual patterns is key to reshaping expectations. He introduces a practical technique: each morning writing down three tasks, completing them, and checking them off, which builds confidence, creates a dopamine boost, and reinforces a sense of achievement. The speaker stresses the importance of focusing on past successes, moments of luck, and the belief that the universe fully supports one’s true self, thereby expanding one’s perceived potential. By reframing obstacles as part of the journey rather than roadblocks, and by staying flexible about how outcomes manifest, viewers can cultivate a momentum where things happen for them rather than to them. The video concludes with a call to action to like, subscribe, and stay tuned for daily uploads.

Welcome back to another video. My name is Aaron and I help people expand their consciousness. Now this video I'm going to be sharing with you how to use expectation to completely transform the results that you're getting with the law of attraction. Now this video will help you understand the delicate balance between having an expectation but at the same time not being attached to the outcome of what happens, which is a very important part of the process. With this, what we must first do is understand that our potential for what we can create is far outside of where we currently think that it is, and that when we start to have this understanding, that's when we can then start to expect good things to happen. Now, with expectation, understand that expectation comes from pattern recognition. If certain things have happened in the past, we may experience and expect we expect them to happen in the future. And the idea behind this is that when we start to tailor our own focus, we then start to look for a different type of pattern and we will then start to get a different result in our own life. Now this is important to understand because when we start to really know that most of the thoughts we think every day are on autopilot, that of the 60,000 to 70,000 thoughts that we think a day, 90% to 95% or more are recycled from the day before. We can then realize that what we must first do to change the expectation we have is to start to think in a completely new way, to start to view ourselves in a completely new way. And when we start to do this, that's when the results really become. Now I will say that our confidence and what we think we are capable of doing will have a powerful effect over expectation. Now, a powerful tool that I've used in order to apply this is I simply write out 3 things that I'm going to do every morning when I wake up, or 3 things I'm I'm going to do throughout the day, and what I do is I simply do those things and I check them off as I go. Now what this tells myself is that when I set myself to do something, I will accomplish it and I will finish it. It gives me an expectation of the kind of results that I'm getting from the action that I am doing. Now this also has an effect of knowing and helping me feel more confident because even as you do that, there is a dopamine spike that you will get. From actually checking it off of the list. Now, what we can begin to do is understand that in the present moment right now, based upon what we're focused on, based upon what we think our potential is, we are priming ourselves and we are projecting into the future what we think we can and can't do. And in order for us to accomplish more of whatever we want, in order for us to have that kind of expectation, we must change our thought patterns of what we are presently focused on. Are we presently focused on the things that we're good at? Are we focused on the kind of accomplishments that we've had in the past, the accomplishments that we've done? And if we start to look at ourselves in a new way in the present moment right now, if we start to connect to the past in a new way, if we start to project the future in a new way by knowing that if there's any goals that we have that we can attain them, what we begin to do is we then begin to change the expectation for what we want to experience. Now the important part of this though is understanding the seesaw of the paradox of having an expectation of knowing that we will get the results that we want, but not being attached to the expectation of how things must happen. Now the reason this is important is because many times if we have a blueprint for how we think things should happen, what we end up doing is we end up projecting that out, and if it doesn't happen, we start to feel resistance. We start to label certain circumstances. We start to label certain things as already being a negative or being the roadblock in the direction of where we want to go. If we identify something as a roadblock, that becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. But instead, if we see that as a part of the process, we become more integrative. We allow things to happen in a much more smooth way, and the expectation expectation along the way gets easier and easier because we are allowing, we are being more of integration rather than separation. So in order to do this, all we have to do is realize what are we currently focused on? What kind of expectation do we have for who we are? What kind of expectation do we have for simply the way our life goes? Now, another important part of this is understanding our expectation for how we are supported in our own life. Now understand that the universe, whatever you want to call it, is always supporting you 100% on your definitions about who you are and your definitions about what you are capable of. Now knowing that we are always 100% supported on what we believe to be true about ourselves then gives us the ability to expand whatever scope that is. Now I've done video before on feeling lucky and understanding that when it comes to luck, if we simply decide that we are lucky, what we will begin to do is begin to expect lucky things to happen. We start to have an optimistic type view of the future. We start to line ourselves up with certain circumstances in a very subconscious way, but then amazing things begin to happen. Now in order to do this, all we simply have to do is realize Where is our focus and what are we currently focused on? Now, if we choose to focus on perspectives that serve us, if we choose to look into our past for times of when we are lucky, for times when things just happen in the right way, what we begin to do is wire in that momentum into who we are. We begin to wire in those thought patterns, and the more that we do that, the more that we then project that into our future, and what we can then do is take action from that place of awareness. Now, expectation is something that we can have, but at the same time, the outcome is something that we can trust in. We can trust in the process more than we have to trust in a certain vision that our ego has. Now, many times the full potential of what we can accomplish in our life could be far outside of what our ego thinks we can accomplish. But if we have that rigidity in the process, if we think that things must happen in a certain type of way, we are actually limiting ourselves from experiencing the full potential of what could really happen. So what you can do is have an expectation that amazing things can happen. Have an expectation that you know that when you set your mind on to do something, you will get a certain result. You can expect that amazing results will come, but what you can do is remain flexible at the same time as to how things happen. And as you start to do this and as you really begin to embody the thought patterns of knowing that you are powerful, knowing that you can believe in yourself more, you will then start to see that things start to play out for yourself in a very powerful way. Things start to happen for you rather than to you. And from that point of view, it begins a powerful momentum of things just happening for you.
