Vulnerability isn't weakness. It dismantles shame and the belief something's wrong with you, which means you stop hiding to chase approval. People repelled by your realness leave, and people who resonate with who you actually are show up.

Number 1 reason vulnerability is so magnetic is because it cuts through the belief that says there's something wrong with the self. Like that's what shame is. Shame is there's something wrong with me, I'm broken. And when we see through the lens of shame, we will hide aspects of ourself to try to get other people's approval and validation. And we end up abandoning ourself in the process. Now, the way to really move through that in a powerful way is to actually be vulnerable. It takes courage to be vulnerable, but what you do by doing that is you show the real you, you show the deeper part of yourself, and by having the courage to do so, you allow two things to happen. One, you allow people that wouldn't resonate with that real you anyways, maybe the more superficial aspect, you allow them to be repelled. That's not a bad thing. And secondly, you allow yourself to attract to you people that really would resonate with the deeper level of you anyways. So vulnerability is power, not weakness.
