When in low vibration, here is what I do (and DON'T do)

Aaron Doughty walks through how he handles anger, fear, and sadness without pushing them away. He argues low vibration comes from the meanings we assign to events, not the events themselves, and shares practices like feeling the emotion fully, grounding barefoot in grass, and using a letting go technique to shift baseline vibration.

All right, so I'm just gonna come clean here and say it is true, there are times that I fall in what is called low vibration, which means I may feel anger, I may feel fear, I may feel resentment or guilty or, you know, there's many different low vibrational emotions that I may feel and there's a certain way I work through it that has changed absolutely everything. I'm gonna share exactly what that is with you. It's actually happened a couple of days. So then I'm gonna tell you a little story about this too. And the goal is that you'll know exactly what to do when you are in low vibration so that then you raise your vibration easier than ever. And you also make it so you don't suppress that low vibration so that it then gets bottled up and then comes out later. So this video I think will completely change your life if you simply watch it. I'm super excited to share it with you right now. Welcome back to another video. My name is Aaron and I help people expand their consciousness. And sometimes people ask me, what do you do? Or do you— okay, so first off, some people ask me and they assume that like my life is just high vibe everywhere I go. Like everything I do, it's like the clouds just open up everywhere I go and the sun is always just shining. And the truth is there are challenges that come up and there are times I do feel what we call low vibrational. And there are times that I feel this, I feel the energy and then, and then of course there's like this, this ego that comes in. It's like, wait, I'm not supposed to be feeling that. I'm better than that low vibration. And of course that causes more resentment or causes it to bottle up as well. And I want to share with you exactly what I do when I am having maybe an off day or a lower vibration type mentality of where I'm feeling. And this actually happened the other day. I had, it's actually happened twice. This is a pattern I've seen twice now. And one of the most important things is doing the work and seeing what it's reflecting back when things happen, when negative things happen, because anytime we fall into low vibration, there is a reason for that. And that reason, if you think of the chart of consciousness, here's the chart of consciousness that Daniel puts up. There you go. You see fear, anger, and then you see neutrality. Then you see willingness, and then you see acceptance and reason, and then love. Reasoning is the intellect of the mind. Anytime we fall into low vibration is because of a meaning that we are giving to something that is happening, and based on that meaning, we are then taking that on and it is becoming a part of our experience. So for example, we could say, well, you know, I used to work with this guy at, uh, at, at one of the old jobs I had selling women's shoes. And there was this one guy that everybody did not like working with because he was negative. He was like kind of complaining about the days and stuff like that. And what happened is when people would be around him, it would then bring them into low vibe. But was it really the guy that was making them feel low vibe? No, it was them using that guy as an excuse to then resonate at the same frequency. And the reasoning was, well, this guy is working here, therefore I also feel the same low vibe he does, or I'm resisting him being here as well, you see? So it's not really what we think it is. Sometimes we think, oh, it's this person that's making me feel low vibe. It's our agreement that that person can even lower our vibe that is allowing us to lower our vibe. That's why one of the most bitter pills to swallow is that we must take responsibility for the reasoning, the meaning we give to every single thing in our life. That changes everything. So recently I had something happen and there's somebody that I've known for a couple years now, actually a friend of mine, and it's actually happened twice. Let me share with you the first time this happened. The first time this happened, I was working at Barney's New York and I had a friend of mine that I've known since like as a teenager, and he starts sending me these text messages like, I can't believe you talked all this smack about me, blah blah blah blah blah, I thought we were friends, F you, blah blah blah blah. I'm like, what the hell is happening? I've never said anything bad about this guy ever. Like, he's a good— he's a cool guy, um, he's like a friend, he's like in my friend group growing up and stuff like that. I was like, what is he talking about? And When he did that, I remember I was in like Tahoe, I was with a friend and I was so confused. I'm like, why are all these, why am I getting all this negative? I never said anything bad about him. I don't know what he's talking about. And then after about a day of like, of like going back and forth and me like, dude, I don't know if you're talking about the right person. I never said anything like that. I don't know what you're talking about. He's like, I thought we were friends, like all this stuff. The next day, what we find out is that there was another guy that worked at Barney's New York where I worked, that name was also Aaron. So somebody said, hey, Aaron said, said this about you. It wasn't me as Aaron, it was this other Aaron that worked in like men's clothes. I worked in women's shoes. And then once I told him, I said, bro, that's, or actually his name wasn't even Aaron, it was like Edwin or something like that. But it was like, you're thinking of this person. And then he felt so bad. He's like, I'm so sorry. But there was so much negative energy that I was feeling that I just didn't understand. And I didn't understand where it was coming from. But then actually after we figured out, he's like, oh, sorry, blah, blah, blah. You know, it was all good. And to this day we're friends. But that was like, I was like, why is this coming up? Why, you know, and the thing to remember in low vibe is that it's always reflecting something back to us. But then I wasn't even aware of it, wasn't aware of this. Now fast forward to just like last week, there's someone that I've been going to kind of like an intuitive, intuitive clairvoyant person type thing. And I'm actually friends with this person. And what happened is they used to have this old assistant and this old assistant I think became bitter with her and I ended up seeing her and I made a comment about something like this lady that I'm friends with, she has gotten really down into like certain like conspiracy rabbit holes. And I made a comment like, oh, I hope she's okay. I know she's going really deep down this rabbit hole. I hope she's okay because it seems like when I get a reading, that's mainly what she's talking about. And I know from personal experience that when we start focusing on these things, it kind of can cause us to only tap into like certain vibrations. So it was more so I was concerned or worried and thinking like, I hope she's okay. And I was talking about that. And what ended up happening is that assistant person fell out with this person that I'm friends with. And then that assistant person told them that I said a whole bunch of things, which I didn't say, or it was taken completely out of context. It was mainly, I'm worried about this person going down conspiracy rabbit holes. I hope they're okay. Should we say something to her? And then it turned into this thing where then I reach out to this person that's my friend and I say, hey, let's meet up and I get a reading or something like that. And then I get this long thing about how she was saying I was talking smack about her and I was talking behind her back and I was like, whoa. And in that moment I was like, whoa, this is like the same thing that was happening, kind of the same thing. It was actually me that, it wasn't like I was getting confused with someone else, but what I said got completely taken out of context. And it was like, in that moment, I felt this almost this need for me to like show, I don't know if it was what I wanted validation or what it was, but this happened just a couple of days ago. And I was like, man, I feel misunderstood. I feel like, you know, I felt a little bit like, why did this person, this assistant person say these things like in such an exaggerated way? And then it made me reflect on myself. Maybe I should have said something to her before, like, hey, I'm kind of concerned about you going down this conspiracy rabbit hole, blah, blah, blah, blah. And it made me then realize the own incongruity within myself in a way. I was saying, the thing I was trying to, I was intending to do is first off, I became aware and I just said, I went into it and I was like, hey, this, I think you got wrong, you got wrong information or it was exaggerated. If you wanna talk, let me know. And this person was completely, had like a wall up. My guess is that they spent like a whole month hearing about this, a whole month like hearing about this or something. And then when I reached out, it was like all this like built up energy or something like that. But I believe it was a completely miscommunication and it was just kind of unfortunate because I was really, you know, I really liked this person. I sent like hundreds of people to this person probably. But, and I still say good things about it, but this person thinks that I'm like talking smack. So it's interesting. So in that day I was like, I was noticing that I had this like craving validation, wanting them to understand that no, it's okay. But then I realized people can believe whatever they want to believe. It is not my job to make them believe something else. And that then that comes off as me almost being needy. Like, no, look, I have my own self-worth. And in that moment it reflected back to me that I don't need to need their approval, their love, their validation to understand exactly what happened. If they want to believe that I would do something or say something that was really exaggerated or like, you know, talking smack, then they could believe whatever they want. That's not my problem. But I realized in that moment that when it comes to this kind of work, that I have this, this, like I wanted to be validated. I wanted to be loved or I wanted to be accepted or I wanted her to try to control the outcome. So in that moment I was feeling kind of triggered and then I became aware and I, the key to a lot of this low vibe stuff is becoming aware I gave it a meaning that meant I needed to lower my vibe. I needed to get reactive and angry about the situation when really I could have observed it or let myself feel the anger, let myself feel the emotions. But then I became aware of that shadow aspect of me that was trying to escape, or I'm not trying to escape, but trying to fix it, trying to fix it instead of being okay with that tension, being okay. Someone could believe whatever the hell they want. Doesn't mean anything about me. That's about me realizing that my source of responsibility is taking responsibility, which means the ability to respond to what happens and how I, what I, meaning I give to it, what I do with what happens. So in that moment, I sent a little text that explained some things and I completely let it go. It doesn't, I don't think that person understands or they're not at a place to where they can, I think they just have too much maybe emotional stuff built up about it, but it was just very interesting to me and now I've let it go and I understand that, you know, we all have our own paths and maybe it came in for that person was in my life for a period of time and maybe it's not meant to be anymore. You see what I mean? So it's interesting. And, but a lot of it reflected back to me, my own sense of like trying to fix it and knowing what's true for myself, getting my own sense of validation for like how I feel about me and knowing that I don't need anyone else's validation. They can, people can believe whatever they want. They can believe, someone that they fell through with, with obviously may have their own intention to say things to like make things appear worse than they are, but people are allowed to believe whatever they want. So what that reflected back to me is the own inner work. What that reflected back to me was me seeing what is the meaning, 'cause the meaning I'm giving to it is gonna be what ends up falling down or what the meaning is when I fall down. Now, the key to raising your vibration is simply letting go. That's it, letting go. It's letting go. If you feel angry and you have a positionality, this person did this to me, if you let go of that positionality, this person did this to me, you then raise your vibration. But an important part of getting and being in low vibe is don't resist it. Let yourself feel in the low vibe because what you feel, you heal. If you don't let yourself feel it, you will repress it or suppress it and then it'll come back later. So I made a little chart right here of what to do and what not to do when in low vibration, or at least what I do. Do not judge yourself. Do not judge yourself for feeling low vibe. It's okay to feel in low vibration. It's part of the spectrum of what we came to experience here on earth. Very positive emotion, very negative, either expansive emotion or contractive emotion. It's okay. And realize that it's not like you're more spiritual than that. You shouldn't, and that only creates resistance. Here's a funny thing too. If you allow yourself to feel the negative emotion or the low vibration, you find a lot of times it dissolves. I've done that so many times where I'm like, oh, what am I feeling? There's a book called "Letting Go" by Dr. David Hawkins. And in this book, it's mainly about just feeling the emotion and just letting go of it. It's called the letting go technique, but really all you do is you just make a choice to let go. But the thing is, is we have a reason why we hold on. And sometimes that reason is because it's been comfortable for us We're used to maybe some type of lower vibrational emotions. Now, what you do wanna do is you wanna allow yourself to feel what comes up. It's okay. It's okay to feel what you feel. If you feel angry, that's okay. If you feel sad, that's okay. If you feel fear, that's okay. Be aware of it. But then you could start from awareness to decide what you're gonna do with it. And maybe you're just gonna feel it, but maybe you're also gonna like look at the meaning you've given to it. 'Cause remember, everything in life is based on meaning, has zero built-in meaning other than the meaning we give it. That's it. So do not, when you're low vibe, distract yourself with substances. Back in the day, I would smoke a little weed. That was how I would change my state. But now I don't, I haven't done that since like 2012. And the thing is, is you're not saying that everybody does that, by the way. I know that a lot of people use it for many different reasons. Some can even be sacred reasons, but dope or alcohol or whatever substance, if you do that, it's once again suppressing. It's going into the body and it's gonna have to come out one day. Do feel to heal. Also, I recommend going in nature. Sometimes what I do is I'll go out in grass, just walk barefoot. It helps the energetic body. Sometimes when you're focused on a computer a lot, it keeps your energy on, you know, all in one place. Do not blame it on others. Like to blame it on others, like the friend, the guy I used to work with at Barney's where everyone was like, oh, he's so negative. If you're blaming it on others, you're externalizing your power. When I used to work with this guy, I enjoyed working with him because I didn't give him the meaning that it's not enjoyable to work with him. And when we were talking, he wasn't talking about negative stuff because I changed my story about him. We could do that about anybody. We have a story, this person always brings my vibration down, that's a story. You can choose your own vibe. You can also make a choice not to be here. Maybe the path for you is to make the choice not to be around them if you don't have to be. I know sometimes we have family and stuff, so it's a little bit different, but you still have the choice. Ability to respond. That's taking responsibility instead of blame. Responsibility means the ability to respond to what happens, to choose the meaning. And, um, another thing is changing environment, changing environment. And I'm in low vibe. If I change my environment, go for a walk in nature, go out in grass, go take a bath, go take a, uh, get into elements. I find that that's a very powerful way for me to raise my vibration back up. Remember, It's also about momentum. So if you can break the momentum of you, you know, you feel it, you allow yourself to feel it, but then what you can do is you make a new choice. I'm gonna go do this. I'm gonna get out of this environment, maybe get away from this person to go inwards, but not necessarily to escape, but it's like you're going more into it. It's a different level. But the thing that I encourage you to do is to realize that everything in life is fundamentally neutral other than the meaning you give it. You can change the meaning of anything anytime you choose to be. It just has to be a choice. And once you do that, I promise you everything will change and your vibration will naturally raise. One of the other things I do, of course, is meditation. I observe my thoughts. I allow them to be there. I have a meditation that's the most powerful meditation for raising your dominant vibration permanently. It's one of my most popular ones. You can watch it down in the description box below. Listen to that meditation anytime you feel a little vibe. I promise you it will raise your vibe to a new level. Listen to that for 21 days and watch how it changes your vibration permanently too. So that you don't fall down as often, or when you do, you're able to bounce back up quickly because you changed your base point line. Other than that, hope you guys enjoyed this video. I'll talk to you guys later. Peace, much love, and namaste.
