Fin du mystère : je suis enfin arrivé à destination

A French-speaking YouTuber announces they have relocated to Mauritius after a multi-month immigration process (spent time in Dubai during transition). The speaker explains the move was motivated by protecting family, mental and physical health, and financial freedom, criticizes current UK economic/political conditions (mentions record Bank of England intervention), describes Mauritius’ pleasant winter climate and lifestyle (diving, beaches), and offers consultations to viewers planning to emigrate.
Hello, my friends. I've finally arrived home. I've been telling you for months and months that I was going to leave. I was a bit mysterious sometimes, changeable about my destination, secretive at times, and you've been extremely patient. I can't repay that patience better than by revealing where I am today. So look at the trees behind me, the weather, you know, it's winter here, I'm in the southern hemisphere, I've traveled very far. I really wanted to put some distance between myself, to find myself, to protect what is most dear to me. Actually, what is most dear to me. It's about our children, our mental health, our. Our physical health. Getting away from an anxiety provoking environment and putting our children in a place where we can see them progress, prosper, where we can let go a little bit. We can let go a little bit. So after spending a transitional period in Dubai, where I have a lot of things going on, so you'll see me from time to time on the marina, that's for sure. But today I've decided to live in Mauritius. So that's the destination I've been working on for months. And in fact, when I told you I was going to leave in December, well, I thought at the time that I was going to leave in three months. And look, it's July. So it's taken me eight months to reach my destination. Because immigration is simply not a long, calm river. Having lived in a bunch of countries, I would say that immigration is work, it's a science. There are a lot of formalities, a lot of paperwork, a lot of things to do. And sometimes you don't even know where to start when you look at the mountain that it can represent. So if you want to talk about immigration, if you have a project, if you want to leave, and if you want to talk about it, look at the calendar that I put in the description of the video. You can book a session and we'll talk. It's a project to leave. If you want to protect yourself, protect your family, protect your health, protect your finances, come and let's talk about it. So since I left, I've continued to observe what's happening in the United Kingdom. And in fact, every day, every day proves me right. It means every day makes me feel better. And I tell myself that I should have left earlier, of course, but I left at least minus 5. For example, I was looking yesterday just to give you some news. Yesterday, the bank of England injected a record amount of money into retail banks. It injected 74 billion, 74.2 billion breaking an all time weekly record. When was the previous record? 72 billion? It was the week before. Do you know what I mean? We are accelerating taxes. We are being told of a new tax every four hours. It means that soon we will have to send our children out with a jacket with a broken zip. We will have to wear glasses patched together with wire to be able to afford the state because we have such a sprawling, huge, gluttonous state that wants to spend, spend, spend. And it considers that. It considers that. It considers that we are its property, its thing. He can just take it, say take it. And when we've finished the money, when we've wasted it here and there on ideological pursuits, on wars, on corruption, on food expenses and so on, well, we'll take it from you again. You're going to work even harder for us. No. That's a no. That's a no. It's game over. I don't want that anymore. I don't want that anymore in my life. It's over. It's over. I assure you I'm ready to I ready to be a taxi driver in India or homeless or Venezuela or somewhere else rather than go through that again. It's over. This choice is no longer part of my life. One day I don't want to be here anymore. I can go to Dubai, I can go to Qatar, I can go to the British Virgin Islands, I can go to the Marshall Islands, I can go, I don't know where. Under no circumstances will I go back to countries with a state that costs me 80% of my income. That will never happen again in my life. So here it is. The, the country is very pleasant. As I was saying, it's the southern hemisphere. It's winter. During the day it's 23 to 24 degrees Celsius. So it's warmer in winter than most summer days. In the UK sometimes the temperature doesn't go as low as 13 degrees Celsius. It's even 9 degrees Celsius in the morning. I assure you I measured it myself. Here, it's July. August will be just as cold, right? Cold means 19 degrees Celsius at night, 23 to 24 degrees Celsius during the day. And from September onwards it seems the temperature will increase. Magnificent beaches, scuba diving spots. I'm going to reconnect with diving. I've brought all my equipment and then I'll show you a little bit of what the seabed looks like. The people are very, very friendly, very helpful, very nice. It's a bit difficult that we pay too. You shouldn't get up to some difficulties, of course, like if you want to immigrate somewhere, well, you're going to make your place, right? And then you have to fight, you have to struggle through all that. But hey, I got through that. So again, if anyone needs help, we can absolutely talk about it. There you go, my friends. So I'm here and I have priorities for the coming year. The priority is really to do some sports again, to do some swimming. Although the pool isn't really a swimming pool, it's more of a small paddling pool. Let's say the water is absolutely freezing right now. Well, freezing. We understand each other. It's when you put your foot in it, you realize that you don't want to go any further, right? It's 5:30pm the sun will set in about an hour. It's already starting. You can already feel that we're nearing the end of the day. In any case, my friends, thank you for your support. Thank you for all the people who encouraged me. And you see, I'm always direct with you, right? I'm not. I'm telling you about the difficulties. I'm telling you about the good things. I'm telling you about the hard times too. I mean, what you see, what you get. We're not, we're on YouTube here. We're not on Instagram. We're not just going to Instagram the beautiful parts of life. And then when we're tearing our hair out, well, we're not going to tell you about it here. I'm talking to you. I'm talking to you about everything. I know that a lot of people had speculated at the time that he was saying he was going to go to Russia. Uh, going to Russia, honestly, it's a country that I visited in the 90s. Uh, it's a very difficult country. Even more difficult today with the sanctions and all that. So I think that people who can go to Russia, I'm being honest with you, are probably people who come from there. That means Marie has a Russian. He has Russian origins, he has family, he has cousins, he has siblings. In that case, yes, yes, the person can probably go because he already has a support network and assistance from day one. But no, for the average person, no, no, it's gold for the brave. I mean, the level of difficulty and cost. I mean, even your bank accounts in Europe are closed. You can't use them anymore, you can't transfer money anymore, you can't work on Western platforms anymore. All that's over. You Find yourself in a closed ecosystem there. Well, you have to live with it, right? It's not necessary. It's not obvious. So, I mean, the difficulty that going to Russia would pose would put a lot of other countries at a competitive distance for a similar or lesser effort, giving you a much better quality of life, much better without having to struggle at that level. So no Russia, my friends, it never crossed my mind. You were closer. Right. I would enter Algeria long before considering going to Russia. Of course, I say that, of course, with all the respect that I have for this country. But no, it's not. It's literally gold for the brave. It's for people who want to suffer. No, no, no, It's. It's not possible. I don't recommend it. So for the rest, well, let's continue, huh? Keep going as before. I'll keep making my videos. Just the good. It's going to change a little bit. You're going to see me. You're going to see me celebrating. You're going to see. It's celebrating Christmas. Celebrating Christmas in the heatwave. So now it's going to be a little bit different, right? We're going to go for it. We're going to go for it slowly, right? And then we're going to see what's going to happen. And then there you have it, my friends. Good luck. Good luck. I'm part of it. The idea that I'm putting forward here, my departure, is not an original idea. It's not a unique, exclusive idea. No, there's a real exodus. There's a mass exodus from the United Kingdom because people, it's the only thing we've found. Huh? When we see a country that is heading down a path of self immolation, what do we do? What do we do, my friends? What can we do? Yes. I'm still resisting. How do you resist? How do you resist when someone sells you a bottle of olive oil for €20? What do you do? What do you resist? Do you say you're going to pay for it in three years? No, I mean you pay for it, you give in. It's either learning or sucking. Right? That's the problem. You can't. Okay, okay, my friends. Uh, I'll leave you be for now. Okay, I'll leave you be. Thank you for watching this video so far. I'll leave you with the link to the calendar in the video description and in the pinned comment. Right. You can talk to me about anything. I'm not a doctor, but you can talk to me like a doctor. You can tell me anything. Okay? And then we'll work together. We'll try to solve your problems, whatever they may be. So that's it, my friends. I'll leave you be and I'll see you soon.
