A monologue distinguishing immigration from sprawl using beaches as a metaphor. The speaker examines how immigrants integrate versus how problematic behaviors spread, and critiques French attitudes toward immigration and society's response to it.
Hello, everyone. Today I'm going to talk to you about a very important topic. It's the difference between immigration and sprawl. Because, as you know, as soon as the word immigration is mentioned, there's a lot of outcry, there's a lot of, let's say, divergence between the left and the right on this point. But in fact, very often the word immigration is used in the wrong way, or at least it's used without being clearly defined. Now, very often when people argue, it's because they haven't clearly defined the words they're using. So in my mind, there are two types of phenomena that absolutely must be distinguished. There's what we call immigration and there's what we call sprawl. The difference is as follows. I'll take the example of a beach. Imagine that you are on a beach and there is a category of people, a group of people who are on this beach who make life impossible for holidaymakers. They can throw you. They can throw trash at you. You go swimming, they steal your things and so on. They attack you for no reason and everything. And at a certain point, it becomes very difficult to enjoy your time and your life on this beach. I will try to find a beach that is governed by different rules. So you go to another beach and you see that there is a beach where people have basically established a certain number of rules that seem to be more conduc and make life more pleasant. You settle on this beach. At the same time, you become extremely sensitive to the phenomena that chased you away from the first beach where you were. That is to say, as soon as you see someone who is not respecting a certain number of rules, as soon as they step out of line, you are right there behind. Why? Because you may even become more aggressive than those who have only known that beach for the following reason. You know you came from a beach that has become impossible to visit. And in fact, you have a very good idea of where a certain number of behaviors led. So when you see them, you react immediately. In my opinion, you are what is called an immigrant. It is someone who has emigrated from a beach and immigrated to another. Now there is what is called the spread. The spread. So the next thing is that someone is on a beach and they themselves are part of the problem because they perpetuate and commit all these acts that make life unbearable for everyone, including themselves. Because there is something very important to understand. The person who throws trash doesn't necessarily like living in it. It's only when it piles up and is everywhere that they get overwhelmed and think, it's too dirty here, I'm going to go somewhere else. But when they go somewhere else, what does they do? Well, it's just so they can throw more trash and continue on and on. So what happens is that the person who is sprawl does what? They arrive somewhere else. They leave the beach that they have ruined and help to ruin. And then once they arrive somewhere else, what do they say? Oh yeah, but this beach is so clean, it's great. I'm going to have a whale of a time. And at that point, what does he do? He's going to resume exactly all the behaviors that were his and make life hell for the people on this beach. That's what starts to go away. I call this one the spread out. That is to say, to get back to reality, if you like. For me, the immigrant is someone constructive. He's someone who left his country, who was the bearer of a discourse, who was the bearer of frustration, but also the bearer of hope. That is to say, he says to himself, I'm going somewhere else. I'm starting from scratch with different rules. In another society, generally, the one who migrates is someone who is, let's say, tough. And someone who wants to be, let's say, more royalist than the king. That is to say, like me, for example, more royalist than the king. Because in fact, he is a person who wants. Who has this desire to protect the host country where he has arrived, from phenomena whose harmfulness he knows, as simple as that. The slacker is not. He does not have the same. Let's say he does not have the same virtue. The slacker arrives in your country supposedly fleeing problems, in fact fleeing himself. And the first thing he will do upon arriving is to say, oh, yes, but where I live, it doesn't work like that. Where I live, it works differently. So I want to tell him, my poor friend. But if it's you, if you prefer how it works where you live, why do you bother paying for a plane ticket and coming here? Just stay home. I know an Algerian. He arrived in Europe with his children, and one of them messed up. One of them was starting to cause a bit of trouble. Do you know what he did? He took him to the airport. He expelled him. He took him to the airport himself. He said, get the hell out of here. Come back to this country, I'll rip your head off. These are men with balls. Do you know what I mean? He was an immigrant. He came with his children, but he was the bearer, if you like, of a certain number of values. Whereas today what we are seeing is the arrival of a spread. That is to say, people who do not question who they are, nor do they question where they come from. But in fact they just want to spread their model that they will flee anyway the day it is fully realized. There you go. I hope I was clear enough or not. So in France, you add another layer. In France, I have noticed that the system favors the sprawlers more readily than immigrants. So there are lots of people like the left, who say they are pro immigration and so on, but they are not at all pro immigration. They are pro sprawl. There you go. This is just for you, just to give you some context. Alright, bye guys.
