La dette climatique : les dessous effrayants de la COP28 à Dubaï

Western countries are being pressured at COP28 to forgive debts to developing nations by framing climate impacts as reasons to escape repayment. The speaker calls this neoclimatism: a system that monetizes victimhood and uses debt relief to control policy in poorer countries.
Good evening, my friends. I'm looking at myself in the camera's feedback and I see that my complexion is pale. It's due to this lighting, you know, it's December, the days are getting shorter and shorter. So of course, in the next videos you'll see me with this face in the United Kingdom. Sometimes it feels like it's dark at 2pm Sometimes it feels like it's never been day. Here I'm telling you the story of decivilization, the story of Europe sinking into the post industrialization era. The Americans passed a law following a request from the Republicans to prohibit the White House and therefore to prohibit Biden, any replacement for Biden, from forcing Americans to buy electric cars or from prohibiting them from buying combustion engine cars. Because they saw the thing, they saw the ban looming. So they created a law to allow American citizens to have, quote, a choice. European citizens don't have one because they were bombed. Do you know what they were bombed by? I'm telling you, it's a type of bomb that travels easily across borders and is cheap. I called it the I bomb, the ideological bomb. That is to say, if you want to attack a country, take France, for example. You want to attack France? What do you do? You want to take an army? An army is expensive. You need ammunition, you need missiles, you need terrible things, right? You use an atomic bomb. Except that they have an atomic bomb. They can retaliate with the same thing. So what are you going to use? So there is a technique. It's an unconventional weapon, but it's not even a weapon that you'll find in disarmament treaties and everything. And I think that's wrong. It's the ideological bomb. You drop an ideological bomb on a country, you can transport it without any problem, you can convey it. There are no controls. The police stop you, you look, you have an ideological bomb. No, in fact, they don't care. They don't even know it exists. So you bomb a country with an ideological bomb and it does more damage than a missile. That is to say that, for example, the country will wake up one morning and say, we're going to destroy our automobile industry. We've only been creating it for generations. We're going to destroy it, okay? If you had wanted to destroy it with missiles, huh, how many missiles would you have needed? Guided missiles, all that stuff. And over and over again it's useless because you can raze their factory, they can start rebuilding it in a week, okay? You don't gain anything. It's not sustainable, you know, we've entered the era of sustainability. What we do has to be sustainable. The ideological bomb is sustainable. It allows a people who are hit by this to, for example, open their borders and then start accepting people from all over the planet. Ideally. Ideally, people who can't help them socially or economically. Ideally, they will take care of them, suffer them, inflict some kind of punishment on themselves, some kind of crucifixion. We wonder why. But here it is. The people who are hit by the ideological bomb even see their children going out onto the asphalt using super glue, gluing their hands together to demand that the state make them poor retirees. To prevent. To ensure that the state destroys their economic prospects, their employment prospects.
Okay?
They demand it. And then there are politicians who are very happy to oblige in any case, even when you don't ask them, uh, don't worry, politicians are very harmful. You know, you don't even need to ask them to act or to crack down. But then if you ask them, you know, with their propensity to. There is also the air, the air in which we live. You know, this is a video that I'm making. It's a capsule so that in 100 years, you know, this video is not for today. What I'm saying today is known. You know, in 100 years, maybe we'll have forgotten it. I'm telling you that in fact, there's an era that we're living in that's giving us a new relationship to problems.
Okay?
It's that we exploit problems. We no longer try to solve them, we try to exploit them. And when there's a problem, we invent attacks. So at COP28 in Dubai, something extraordinary happened. Do you know what it was, in fact, we said last time, to summarize it in two sentences, that countries that are affected by undesirable weather events, so it could be, what do you call, could be a drought, a hurricane, floods. I mean, even if they've been suffering from this kind of calamity for generations, it's not a problem. Today we have someone to blame. Who is the culprit? The Westerners, and in particular the Europeans are at fault. The Europeans beat themselves up by saying, it's me, it's my fault. So now COP28 has created a right that can be demanded as opposed to compensation, which we say, look, there's a problem. You see, it's raining. You go to the French, they compensate you for the floods. So there's someone to blame, which is great, because, you know, that's life, you Know, humans are always looking for people to blame. That's how it is. They're always looking for people to blame. Ideally, they're guilty and responsible, right? And then especially when the guilty party is responsible and solvent, that means they have money, right? Because if the guy is guilty and responsible and from South Sudan, I mean, you're not going to get very far with that. But if it's a European country that's on its knees begging for forgiveness and which also has full coffers or a good rating, a good score from the rating agencies, that means it can go into debt to give money, then it's clear. That's El Dorado. You have to know one thing. The the valuation of victim cards. You know of cards called victim cards? The valuation in recent years, if you look at the valuation of the victim card called slavery or colonialism, you'll notice that its price has dropped quite a bit. Oh, I'm telling you.
Huh?
The price of the colonialist victim card. Oh, I just got there. I can tell you I've been following the price of this card for years. Today, if you have one, just sell it. That's it. It's not going to be worth anything anymore. On the other hand, there is a map that replaces it. It's the climate map. Here I am, I'm a climate refugee, okay? Today I'm in the United Kingdom, crying non stop. I can go to the Maldives and then say I'm a climate refugee. Well, it doesn't work that way. It works the other way, but not that way. I'm coming. I'll tell you a story. It's that a new rite was just created at COP28 and that's since the last video, which is the right not to repay one's debts if one has climate problems. So what are we actually doing? So what we're saying here is that, for example, a country that is in debt, and God knows that most third world countries are in debt even very heavily. Well, a country can invoke a climate emergency and say we haven't had rain for two years, while in reality they haven't had rain for 2,000 years. It doesn't matter. We haven't had rain for two years. It's drought, it's climate change, and so we can't pay. So what are we going to do with this card? Look at the victim card, the climate card on the market in the victimization exchange. It's worth gold. This card there, it's a platinum card. So at that point we say, you don't Pay. So either they don't pay forever or we take a people. So ideally I believe what they're going to do, but that's from this moment on, so be careful. This is not an official version, this is an unofficial version. That's me telling you. So it's potentially a conspiracy theory version. Okay, you know we don't have the right to think these days, right? So the version I'm going to tell you hasn't been officially published yet. It will be published one day, I'll tell you, but for now I'll just give it to you between us, like that. So the story is that I think that the forces of money won't allow country XY to avoid paying for its climate victimization. I think that ideally I would have been in their shoes. You might say I'm nervous, but I would have been in their shoes. I take a guilty country and it's the one that pays instead, right? Okay, that's better. A country that changes the climate, okay? A country whose lifestyle, industrialization, cars, planes, leisure activities, children, meat cows and cheese, change the climate, that country is guilty. And so we'll make that country pay for the other country's debt. But what are we doing in reality? In reality, what we're doing is bribing. Bribing, I like that word, bribing. I don't know where it comes from. We're bribing people. If you prefer a more modern word. We're corrupting, okay? Corrupt. Corrupt who? Well, we're corrupting countries that didn't give a damn about global warming or climate change. Take the third world countries. It's been a long time, for years and years that we've been telling them cop after cop, yes, you're going to have to take it easy, guys. We know that you want to industrialize, we know that you want to develop. Accept that. Look, we poor Westerners, we've developed. Well, it's true that now we're riding on gold. We've developed and the problem is, look what we've done to the climate. So you have to stay where you are. And it's clear that the countries of Tirmande didn't see it that way. They said, listen, you're making fun of us. You're developing your countries, you're developing your railways, your planes, your industries, all that. You're at the cutting edge, you're rich in everything, quote. And when it's our turn to start getting dressed, pulling up our pants, putting on shoes, getting out of the slums and getting an apartment, you Tell me it's too late. It's over. That you're the ones who ruined everything. You see, this speech didn't work. It worked. It worked for a while. It was more or less a paternalistic, neo colonialist, Neo whatever speech. Put neo, put neo. Buy something after that, that's always ugly, right?
Okay.
Born something. So these countries didn't hear it like that, which is why Westerners kept beating themselves up, but no one wanted to listen to them. And now, since cop 28, we're getting out of here. We're getting out of here with the bribe. How does that work? We go to countries that are broke and we tell them you're broke, but it's not your fault. It's not because of the corruption that reigns in your country. It's not because you have a military dictatorship. It's not because you're a president for life. It's not because you lock opponents in prisons. It's not because you have a runaway population. It's not. It's not. It's not. In fact, it's because of the climate. And the climate is my fault. So either I pay, I give you hard cash, or I know that you're in debt up to your neck. So what I do is I erase your debt, I pay it for you, quote. And then you can imagine that suddenly you have a listening ear, then they're ready to listen to you, because now you're talking about a different story. You do take the dollar bills like that. You scratch them in their ears and suddenly they hear you. And so, for example, we already have the Ethiopian president who has gone on an interminable whining session here, talking about the weather in his country, how the white man, while I'm talking to you, how the white man is blaming his climate irresponsibility because of the disasters there. Well, he's going to have to pay. And so these countries, what are they going to do? They're going to start implementing climate measures now. So? Well, they're going to use symbolism, you understand? Pretend to believe in it. They're going to come to the COP now, they're going to sign, they're going to applaud, they're going to take pictures of themselves. They're even going to teach their children about climate. Neo colonialism or neo. Wait, there you go. We have to find a word that sounds good, that sounds strong. Neoclimatism. That's imperialist. Neoclimatism, I like. Well, that's it. I'm a termite. I like words that sound like that. Very slick. So neoclimatic. Neo imperialism. No, neoclimatic imperialism. You know, we're going to create the word, we're going to create it. So because of that, we're living in the situation we're in. So there's a new victim discourse that's going to emerge in Africa because it's paid for. And so from there you're going to have to expect demands, Right? So, yes, that's it. A little bit. That's the idea. A little bit. That's where it's going. It's going to go smoothly.
Okay?
It's going smoothly, right? What do you want? That's how it is. That's how it is. And no other way. An old Hungarian woman used to say, I told you about it at the time. There you go, my friends. I'll leave you, okay? I'll leave you. And then there you go. The light went out. My complexion is even paler. I look like a disinterred climate skeptic.
Okay?
So there you go, I'll leave you. I'm doing this. You see these waves? These remind me of a movie with him. Funny. What's his name? Is it the wing or the thigh? Yeah, I think it's the wing or the thigh.
Huh?
The wing or the thigh? Okay, there you go, friends. I'll leave you, okay? And be very careful, because Europe, Europe, it's never been peaceful, okay? It's never been peaceful. It's been. It's been some very hard, very difficult times that can come back if we're not careful. Take extra care of yourselves and don't let yourselves be fooled.
Okay?
I'll leave you. I'll be back in another video under better auspices, as they say. And I'll see you when we see you. Very soon, my friends. Ta ta da. I'm gone, mister.
