A 2016 monologue argues the French National Front has no chance in 2017 if it keeps trying to appease journalists. The speaker says the media will never approve Marine Le Pen and urges the party to either skip the race or run as an aggressive outsider like Donald Trump.
Hello, my friends. Yesterday I met a Frenchman and one of the topics we discussed was what are the National Front's chances in the 2017 presidential election? So I'm going to tell you something. I'm going to tell you something. I'm going to tell you my position on this subject. It's not what I'm hoping for, but what I think is that if the National Front continues to campaign as it is now, I don't think we'll even hear about this party during the 2017 elections. Zero. Nothing at all. Let me explain. You know that today more than ever, it's obvious that the interests of the oligarchy diverge from the interests of everyday people. For example, if the oligarchy's interest is to launch a war, the average person might prefer that this money could be used to improve their comfort, their quality of life, their infrastructure, and incidentally, to look after their children so that they wouldn't die in distant lands for some unknown reason. For example, if the oligarchy's interest is to create massive relocations by making energy absolutely unaffordable and production so expensive that any country ultimately comes before you and you're unemployed, you can see that your own interest is to keep your job and keep your production. The oligarchy's interest is to promote hoaxes like global warming, for example, and then make you feel guilty about it until you give up your bread and the bread of your children and your family, and you vote to remain in poverty under an imaginary threat. So let me explain something to you. What happens is that I can give 50 examples like that which show that in our time there is a divergence between the interests of the oligarchy in power and a divergence between the interests of ordinary citizens. I'll add one more example out of the 50. If, for example, the people of the oligarchy ask for gifts and money for themselves, for their families, from the Gulf Emirates, from the Wahhabi powers, they will indeed serve the Wahhabi agenda in your country. So that's not what you want, okay? Because you see that this distorts your way of life. This compromises security, this costs you a lot of money. But the oligarchy's interest is that this plan continues. Because the more they advance in this plan, the more they get for free, okay? They are sold anyway, to put it simply. So now the press and I will come to the National Front. The press has chosen its side because we have two paths that are completely irreconcilable. There is no meeting between the interests of the oligarchy and the interests of the population. So what happens? Everyone has to choose. Everyone has to make their choice. So there are the poor idiots who vote against their campus, who choose, who defend, who go out into the streets to shout and scream to defend the interests of the oligarchy. There are, unfortunately, people everywhere who are misguided. But there are also people who cannot be described as misguided, because they know very well what they are doing. They are the media. The media have chosen their side, and it is the side of the oligarchy. So when you take someone like Marine Le Pen, for example, who goes to the media and tries to please them, what she doesn't want to understand is that this whole thing between her and the media, the divergence, is not a question of. It's not a question of misunderstanding. It's not that. Listen, madam, I'm not racist. You misunderstood. There's a big misunderstanding. We're going to try to air it tonight. No, that's not it. They hate her for who she is, for what she represents. And no matter what she does, no matter how she spins it, they're never going to approve of her. She's never going to get the approval of journalists, because journalists simply don't work for the side she's on. So the way this party is trying to please journalists at all times is totally counterproductive, because, first of all, journalists don't like it. Whatever terminology it uses, whatever angle it uses to present its objectives, it doesn't want to please journalists, okay? In any case, they've chosen their side. They're not on the side of the French. They're on the side of the oligarchy that feeds them. It's very simple. So by trying to please them, it's a completely unattainable goal. It's a lost cause. Another interesting point, fortunately, is that it's not the press that votes. Journalists aren't asked to elect the next president. They're not asked to. They just bark. But in the end, it's the voters, the ordinary voters who go out in the morning and vote. He's the one who really has the power, but no one speaks to him. That means you have Marine Le Pen, but not only that, you have other politicians and political leaders who do that, who appear before the press, who appear on a TV set, for example. And then this TV set very quickly turns into a kind of court. And then you have journalists who are like dogs, barking and attacking the person who spend 100 years justifying themselves. But in fact, they lock themselves in this debate, they lock themselves in this dynamic, and they never go and talk to the people who really have the power. That means the voters. The voters. So let me tell you something. Uh, among all the things the media have said about Donald Trump in the United States, who was an outsider, huh? He was really a big outsider. They said that a few months ago that he had no chance of winning.
Okay?
No chance of getting elected. And that was true at the time it was said. It's true. But the guy, what he did, because I think all politicians in the world should take inspiration from his campaign. Even though, of course, all things considered, politics in France is not the same as in the United States.
But.
Of course. But there is a common thread. He had zero chance of winning. And he understood something either. He runs his campaign in a very special, very personal, very aggressive way. He takes it to the point of. I'm going to use a term that's perhaps not entirely appropriate, but he takes it to the point of desperado. That means he takes it in the way of someone who knows he has nothing to lose. He knows he has nothing to lose. For him, it was either he gives it his all during this election and he succeeds, or what he does, he stays at home. It's useless. He's watching the election on tv. That's exactly what the people in the National Front should be thinking today. Either they want to. They feel their chance today. I'll say it like they used to say about Trump at the time. Their chance today of getting a representative score or an interesting score or being in the first round or the second round of the election in 2017 is zero. Today, it really is zero. That means that these people have to make a very pragmatic choice. The first is to decide to let 2017 pass and then put some money aside in the hope that at the next election, in 2022, they'll have more money, more funds to do something interesting.
Okay?
Well, the second option is to tell yourself to clearly understand, to clearly integrate that their chances are zero, and then fight with the energy of despair. But at that point, stop pleasing journalists, because we don't please journalists anyway, and we don't speak to the basic readers. Uh, you have to get into it. Let them be shocked, let them change color, let them become aggressive, let them spit saliva 2 meters away on the sets, and then get your message across. Today, what's happening is that there's Francois Hollande. There's Francois Hollande. Francois Hollande has a 4% approval rating. That means that technically speaking, you could stop someone in the street at random. I can't find someone.
A.
A bus driver, a cleaning lady, a teacher, a primary school teacher, anyone. You put him up against Francois Hollande, he wins.
Okay?
That's it. It's obvious. The French right, for example, the Republicans know that. So they're not going to bring out the heavy weapons, you know, they will either push for Jupei or push for Sarkozy. Or they have this impression of living in political comfort, knowing that the next election is a foregone conclusion anyway, that he can put up anyone and he will win. And that climate is a climate that favors outsiders, because it is a climate that makes everyone a little bit like Hollande. They know that he is screwed. They will perhaps run again for the sake of it. Or frankly, if they want to keep their dignity, they should not even run. But hey, as he is, you know, he will probably try his luck on the right. They feel that it is a done deal. They can put up anyone, you know, they can take the doorman of the LR de Republicans. He will win.
Okay?
It's still a perfect time for an aggressive outsider, for an outsider who isn't afraid of scandal, for an outsider who isn't afraid to speak his mind, who isn't afraid to attack the system to get in its way, including those journalists who disgust us all. It's a blessed time for this type of profile. But unfortunately, this type of profile doesn't seem to exist in France. There you have it. That's why. Honestly, uh, I don't know. But if things continue like this, I think the next French president will be the least of Micheles who wants to bother with the Republicans? Just believe him. He'll show up, he'll sign, right? He'll sign, take two or three photos with the journalists and then the presidents of France. As simple as that. It's these gifts. The path to the Elysee is completely open. The doors are open to all winds. The doors and the windows. The first one who wants to make a fuss will arrive. Okay, that's it. That's why those who are currently playing at becoming smooth, at becoming politically correct, at becoming acceptable to journalists, are just wasting their time. Okay, that's it, my friends, I'll leave you. These are just a few ideas that I wanted to share with you. It's true that personally, I've seen that the English have taken their destiny into their own hands. I've seen that the Americans are taking their destiny into their own hands. And honestly, I don't really want you to end up like Khalifa Wahhabi. So it's true that it would suit me too if you woke up. And I'm sure it's in your best interest too, okay? Not just in mine. That's it, my friends. I'll leave you. And I hope that common sense will win out in the end.
