Marché du Travail : Ces Patrons qui n'arrivent PAS à recruter !

This is a YouTube video titled "Marché du Travail : Ces Patrons qui n'arrivent PAS à recruter !" created in June 2025. The content is a monologue by a single speaker discussing the challenges employers face in recruiting workers amid high unemployment, including issues like fake job ads, unmotivated applicants, and ineffective job application methods. The speaker also offers practical advice for job seekers to improve their chances of employment and promotes a partner service for job support in France. The video is informative and motivational, aimed at both job seekers and employers.
My friends, good evening. I have spoken to quite a few bosses since I have had this channel. I speak to workers, but also to bosses, recruiters and all that. And in fact, there is a testimony, several testimonies in fact, which are quite striking to me. Let me tell you, in France, in the United Kingdom, in other countries, we have millions of people unemployed. That's for sure. Everyone knows that when I speak to bosses, well, they tell me we can't recruit. Strange. I will give you an example. I have a friend who is a boss in the United Kingdom. He has a company, he does air conditioning, refrigeration systems, all that. And he needed employees. What does he do? He puts an advert, he receives responses, he contacts people, and in fact, he arranges appointments with 30 people. He says to himself, okay, some people aren't going to show up, but he's making appointments with 30 people. He's filling up a day with someone else so he can talk to these people. Of the 30 people, one showed up and then wasn't interested and left. The others made appointments but didn't even show up. I was talking to another boss in France and. And he gave me a similar story. He put up ads and got about 150 responses. Out of the 150 responses, he was only able to get two appointments. So two people, one of whom wasn't interested and another who was interested but didn't show up on the first day of work. Okay, so that's where we are. So I'm talking to people who are seriously looking for work here. Okay, what's the impact? What's the impact on you of this situation? Let me tell you, there are two problems that are coming together. First problem, I've already mentioned it. There are a lot of companies that publish fake ads. We know that there are companies that want to give an impression of growth, dynamism and all that. They publish job ads. There's nothing behind it. There are no jobs behind it. They're never going to recruit. And these ads, sometimes when you start doing research over time and everything, you start reviewing them, reviewing them, reviewing them. And sometimes you respond to these ads and you'll never hear from them again. And what do you do? A week, 10 days later, you'll see the same posted ad again. And sometimes six months later, it's still there being republished. Behind that, you can see right away that they're not recruiting. There's that. And on the other side, what do we have on the other side? Companies are overwhelmed with fake employees. And. Yes, why? For Example, I saw a site once and I never use this type of site. It's catastrophic. I saw a site, it offers you the following thing. In exchange for a fairly modest increase. You upload your CV to them, you enter keywords, whatever you're looking for. Sometimes the keywords can even be automatically read from your cv. And the system will monitor the market and as soon as it sees a matching ad, you, it will send your application. Can you imagine the damage that can do? It means you're going to apply. You're going to send job applications like a machine gun. You're going to spend the day. I mean, you wake up in the morning, you've already made 550 applications, so you're going to start spamming and that's a disaster. So on the one hand we have this, and on the other hand. And what else do we have? We have people who aren't necessarily good at it, who are human beings, but who have no interest in finding work. Why? Because sometimes they are in a situation where they have assistance, an unemployment system, some kind of support system, and they don't really want to find work. But their goal is to prove that they are looking for work. So what do they do? They send messages and then, well, that's it, they're not interested. The situation is quite frightening because on one side and on the other, the bosses who are genuinely looking for work, well, the workers can't find it. And the workers who are genuinely looking for work also can't find it. And so we are in this completely catastrophic situation. We almost need a system. I'm not saying that we need that, I'm just telling you, I'm thinking out loud. There almost needs to be a system where when someone, a company places an ad, they put a deposit monetary with it. Or when someone applies for a job, they also pay a monetary deposit that will be returned to them if they are ever selected or if they show up for the interview. Because what is happening today is truly a disaster. It's a torrent meeting another torrent. It's like that. So in any case, if you want to give yourself some information before continuing, perhaps to survive this, if you want to get through this torrent, there is the partner of this channel that uses, I put their link in the description of the video, the pinned comment. They are in France. So it is really for those who are based in France. Under certain conditions, their support is taken care of by France Travail and then they provide support for roughly two cases. The case of the person who has lost Their job, who is looking for another one who can't get by. Or also the person who has a job and would like to leave it, or who feels in danger. A redundancy plan is coming up. A rumor of a babush, something like that. And then they want support to find a job. So these two cases really fall under their area of expertise. And for all the rest, personal history and all that, you can contact me on the. With the calendar, you can book me a consultation. I have the calendar, which is open. Description of the video. Also, you have the calendar, you go there, you book a date, you pay, we can discuss. So I was saying how to get by. I'll give you a first tip. I think you have to prove your motivation. Above the average, above the average of other people. Okay? Because in the end we realize that others don't really care. So how do you stand out? How can I say that you are not part of the 99%? Two things. First, I think there are some classics. The classics are adapting your cv, really working on it. Without a cv, don't use the same cv, start watering it down. Because people who tell me. There are people who tell me I've sent out 400 CVs, I have a lot of problems with that. And then it follows after that, I sent out 400 CVs, I didn't find a job. The question I want to ask is, were these targeted, polished mailings? I know it's hard. It's hard. It's true that it's easy to copy and paste and send it to everyone, but it's not specific, it won't work. It's not something that is consistent. You're just spraying it and hoping it catches somewhere. It's like shooting a machine gun. Okay? Because with a sniper, what does he do? He concentrates. He controls his breathing, the wind, all that. He fires a single bullet, he hits his target. The guy who shoots the machine gun is someone who's desperate, like in the military. The guy who fires the machine gun starts shooting randomly. He just shoots, hoping to hit something that's not very effective and so starting to bombard the market with CVs that aren't suitable. It's useless. Secondly, the CV comes with an accompanying message. We can be reassuring in this accompanying message. We can or should emphasize our motivation, but not necessarily our skills. Of course, we put them in a few sentences, but the CV is there to speak for us. But we also include elements that indicate that we have above average motivation, that we keep our commitments, that we are here to come that we are serious about finding a job. There are people who say, yeah, every time I talk about being motivated. It's more common when you do it. How is it more common? You send your cv. What do you say? You send your CV in an email. What do you say? Look at the attached cv. You have to say something or you have the employer on the phone. What do you say? You have to have a pitch. You have to have something you are able to put in 45 seconds a minute that explains who you are. What is it? Who are you? Who are you really? What do you want? That's the COVID letter. So you can call it whatever you want. The COVID email, the accompanying text. But you have to be able to sell yourself, put something to introduce yourself. That's the first point. Another thing I always say, the first point. You know, in my videos, sometimes there are five first points. We understand each other. So there's something else. One of the bosses I spoke to told me this at their factory. And I'm going to say something astonishing at their factory. One day someone showed up. He arrived at the factory. Hello, I'm looking for work. It surprised them a little because they themselves were going through exactly what I'm talking about. They were going through this system where they would put up ads. They would get dozens, hundreds of responses, and in the end, no one would come or people wouldn't come. On the day they signed a contract, and then on the Monday they were supposed to start, they didn't come. Suddenly there was a guy who came from somewhere else. I really like the term this boss used. A very nice guy, by the way. He told me he had come to turn himself in. So the guy came and said, I'm looking for work. I'm ready to work. They say, when do you want to start? Today, right now. Okay. He was recruited. Hey, this is going to surprise you. He was recruited. But you see, he used a method that's out of this world. That's not the classic method, because what is the classic method? The classic method is. Well, I'll wait. That they write that they publish an alliance. Uh, uh, I respond and I wait for them to respond to me. Except that the problem is that sometimes they ignore you. It's not because they hate you or they don't care or anything. No, sometimes they ignore you because they themselves are overwhelmed because they put an ad. They received. They received 300 responses. Uh, they, they can't respond to everyone. So they say, well, take me, I don't know, 50, and spread it and on the 50th, finally, well, they have a guy who shows up. They have a guy who shows up and doesn't stay. Okay, you see the problem? So the guy, by showing up, he did something that's out of the ordinary. And, well, maybe I would say that we're maybe in an era where the man works. You know what I mean? Out of the ordinary can work. You see, for example, they put an ad instead of sending them a resume by email. I'm going to drop it off. I'm sending it by email, but I'm going to drop it off. I'm going to the office. Hello, it's me. Here's my resume. Or I'm sending it by mail. It's going to cost me a lot if I send it by ups. We understand each other. I mean, I'm making extra efforts. I'm different. I'm doing something that others don't do to make an impression. You see something special too. Another thing that can. That can also. I think it can be that it can help by dint of talking to the boss. And all this is for. Look, pudding, they give you an interview. They tell you an interview next week, Pudding Wednesday. What I would do the day before during the. During the workday, huh? I don't wait until midnight because they won't be able to say it the day before. I write a message. Hello, I just wanted to tell you that. Just confirming my presence the next day for the interview. I think it feels good and it sets this candidate apart from the others. And sometimes candidates are recruited for a detail. Just tell you a little something, a story that I've told before. I think we once had a series of interviews in a company where people were recruited because among other things, the highlight of the show was really a presentation that he had to do. He had to do a presentation on the board. And in fact, it's a whiteboard. And what do you write with on these whiteboards? You write with felt tip pens. And if you know how companies are, the felt tip pens are always dry. When you go to any box, even the cac, you arrive in a conference room or a meeting presentation, you take your felt tip pen, you take the black one, you write, it leaves a small line, it makes an unpleasant noise, it stops the dry red, the dry blue, and then it always ends with, yes, wait, I'll go look in the next room. You go into the next room, you try out several, and eventually you find one that works more or less, and you bring it back, okay? And it looks Disgusting and it's not pretty and you waste time and you lose concentration. And then we don't have any colors because we wanted to make a nice diagram with colors. Well, in the end we do it in one color. We draw in green and all that. And then we scribble on it because it doesn't work. I'm telling you, it's a detail. It can ruin a presentation. And if recruitment depends on this presentation, honestly. Well, we once had a guy, he came to sign up and he went up to the front of the board, there were some felt tip pens. He disdained them. I understand why. He opened it, he took out a new box, Bam. He had all his colors in front of him. He made a magnificent presentation. The fact that he made a magnificent presentation and it also proved that he was organized, independent and forward looking. I can tell you that it made an impression. He was recruited and it was an excellent hire. In fact, the guy was so good that he didn't stay and ended up creating his own company. And he's now flying solo. Do you know what I mean? A super structured, super organized guy. You can see it in his behavior. You see? So there are ways, there are subtle, simple ways to increase your chances, to improve the likelihood of your recruitment. Those are the first ways I gave you. The other way is to use it. Partner of this channel, the support role. Contact them. In the description of the video, the pinned comment says that you came from me. Every time people have gone there and come back happy for everything that is personal, personal, personal history. You want to immigrate. You want to go somewhere fed up with a situation. You have a problem that has been bothering you for a long time. We can have a zoom meeting. Let's discuss. Usually people leave with actionable things. Okay? Some of them agree. Thank you my friends for listening to this video so far. I hope you found it helpful.
