Scandale Astronomer : le PDG sort avec la Responsable des Ressources Humaines !

A French-language YouTube monologue (July 2025) reacting to a viral scandal in which a CEO and the company's HR manager were filmed in an intimate/compromising situation. The speaker explains why the episode spread worldwide by invoking storytelling archetypes (Joseph Campbell), philosophical psychology (Thomas Hobbes’ biographical example), and widespread workplace grievances (favoritism, secret relationships). The video mixes cultural references, personal anecdotes about HR failures and blackmail, and a promo for the speaker's book 'Toxic' that examines toxic corporate environments.
My friends, good evening. Like you, I really enjoyed this scandal where we see a CEO hugging this witch from HR and the two get caught by a kissimmee during a Coldplay cancer. I saw this video just now. We were out, but at the time we didn't know who they were. On the other hand, they drew negative attention to themselves by acting like they were guilty because people were speculating. They were saying to themselves, this can't be husband and wife. They probably have a story they want to hide. It was their reaction that actually triggered all this. If they had acted naturally, it's likely that the story would have ended there. Now it's becoming a worldwide phenomenon. People are talking about it everywhere. Newspapers in every language are mentioning it. Why? Since the Titan. Since a CEO, right? Cita CEO. At the time, he even had two or three. Since three CEOs had sunk in the Titanic, right above the Titanic, we hadn't seen such enthusiasm for an incident that ultimately wasn't that serious in the grand scheme of things. Why is everyone interested? I'm going to talk to you about it today, especially since given the editorial line of this channel, you can imagine that I couldn't let such a story pass me by. So before getting into the heart of the matter, look in the description of the video and in the pinned comments, there's a link to Kyu Cent. They are based in France. They help people find a new job. If they've lost hours through adventure, or if you're stuck in your job and want to change, they can support you. And in some cases it's covered by France Travail. So why are so many people interested in this story? So I'm telling you this because it's a question of archetype. That is to say, we all know. We all know that these stories happen, but they are hard to prove. We know that very often there are hidden stories in the company that are under the radar, that have relationships with each other, sleeping around, cheating, all that. But in general, we can't prove it. We just know it. Or sometimes we don't know it, but we feel it. Sometimes we see the career of someone end abruptly. Sometimes we see the career of someone who is literally propelled right, as if it were attached to a Saturn V rocket. We see anomalies. We see people who are sometimes incompetent, who are promoted very high. We sometimes see competent people who go from burnout to burnout. We see this kind of thing, but it's motivated by cross. Well, these kinds of very powerful images that are broadcast across the planet. Well, today, show us one side of that. If you look at the team of this company that the CEO is in, they've been screwed, right? Well, it's called Astronomy. And in fact, in the executive team, there's only one woman, right? It's that one, that chick. She has a face. If you notice, there's not a company with more than 50 employees in which there isn't a face like that. It's like they produce them in molds, they produce them in a factory, and they make them like that. And the guy has a wife who is very beautiful. In reality, he has three children, a wife who is very pretty. And what's he going to do? He's going to get attached to the chick from human resources. That means something completely unthinkable. So I'll tell you why the entire planet has taken to this story. Because in reality, it's a deception. A guy cheating on his wife. By the way, this woman was also cheating on her husband. She's married to our CEO. So take a good look at her face. That's the face that CEOs like. If you don't have that face, you won't marry a CEO, my dear. I'll say it right away because they like that kind of attitude. So I was telling you why, when it's ultimately a deception, like they always do, why did it go around the world? So let me tell you, there's a reality behind it, if you like. When we look at authors, when we look at philosophers, when at we look, we can sometimes do a psychological analysis through their work. Sometimes there are doctoral theses that are written on psychology, not the philosophy of a philosopher, but the psychology of a philosopher. What was the inner journey that led him to embrace a certain number of ideas and formulate them in a certain way? A simple example that comes to mind is Mr. Thomas Hobbes. Hobbes was someone who was very pessimistic in his philosophy. He even said, at least in Latin, he I'll tell you in French, that the normal state of the human condition is war of all against all. You see how he sees life in an extremely dark way. Besides, I think that nowadays he would not have been out of place. But why did he say that when we look at his life? He was born in 1588. That was the year of the Spanish Armada, as the legend goes. Even though I don't really believe it. But there are often legends associated with illustrious figures. Well, legend has it that when his mother heard that the Spanish Armada was coming to The United Kingdom to blow up Queen Elizabeth ii. She gave birth prematurely out of fear, and many other women experienced the same thing. Later in his life, he experienced one or two civil wars in the United Kingdom. So you can imagine that from what he had internalized, literally from birth, he came to the conclusion that he died at a canonical age of over 90. At one point, he came to the conclusion that the normal state of man was for everyone to wage war against everyone else. Now I'll tell you another story. Keep this one aside. I think some people are thinking, what does Rob's the Spanish Armada have to do with this? CEO, we're coming, we're coming. You'll see. I had attended a seminar organized by Dr. Jonathan Yang. He's quite old now, the psychologists, and he was a student of Joseph Campbell. They were extremely influential people in the theory of stories. Because you have to know one thing. It's not by chance that a story circulates, that a story is shared by people, sometimes across generations, sometimes even changed, modified. Like, for example, Robin Hood. It seems that Robin hood exists in 1,400 different variations across cultures, across languages every day, and is told to millions of children in different languages. So why that one? And of course, you can imagine Hollywood. You can imagine it's interested in precisely this kind of thing, this kind of study, because it allows them to know there is a science behind it. It allows them to know what kind of story, what kind of themes will work and which won't. In this case, we have a story that worked very well. We get there. Well, precisely according to him, because according to Joseph. Joseph. Joseph Campbell. Well, what we can do is history. Just as the history of a philosopher like Thomas, like Thomas Hops, for example, can inform us about his psychology. Well, in the same way we have a history that is shared massively by people, informs us about the psychology of people. You see, what applies to an individual can apply to a people, a group, or even to humanity as a whole. As for this story, you see, you see the relationship, you see, we are moving. For example, the story of Robin des Bois. Why was it shared everywhere? Well, because it simply takes up the theme of the rich, you know, who is seen from different latitudes, different cultures. And sometimes rightly, sometimes rightly, he is seen as someone who has enriched himself at the expense of others. And then we are happy to see a hero who comes along and who will take his goods and then redistribute them to the poor. You see, it is a theme that is quite universal. So in the same Way. We have a theme no less universal today, huh? Of which we are going to reveal what is going on in people's heads, which is that people are fed up, that people in their work are fed up of seeing, not necessarily seeing them, of knowing somewhere, of knowing vaguely, of feeling or sensing that there are hookups. And that these hookups are determining, well, people's careers, people's lives are purely based on hookups. And what's terrible. I'll tell you something what's absolutely terrible in this story. A CEO sleeping with the Chr chick. For this to be denounced, for the CEO to be isolated from the company, for the chick to be suspended from the company as well. Look what it took. It took nothing less than a scandal of global proportions. Underneath that, if there hadn't been this scandal, they would have continued as usual. So it seems the CEO came back afterwards. He got angry. He fired a lot of people, including the person who organizes events, who was a sort of collateral victim, who bought him tickets. He even fired the person who bought the tickets when she had no business being there. In any case, that's how it is. That's what we know. But unfortunately, this kind of thing also happens in your company. Happens pretty much everywhere. They were punished because they were caught in the act. There was a video, so there was nothing we could do. And that's often the case in companies. As long as there's no video, there's nothing you can do. As long as there's no proof, there's nothing you can do. There was a woman, she contacted me once on the phone that I always give out. In fact, without her manager, she sent her blackmails nonstop. Nonstop. She was harassing her with more and more blackmails, and he was pushing it further and further. We made her believe it, but we didn't do anything to her. We didn't do anything to her. She went to human resources. Human resources are always there to cover up for management. When it comes to the staff below them. There you go. They think in terms of hierarchy. She had to push. She had to push very delicately to go further, to make her case worse, for HR to take her seriously. But in this case, she literally had a photo of the guy in his underwear on her. WhatsApp. Right. That's what it took for him to react. In any case, I'm very happy that this story happened because it reveals a lot of things, as you've seen. And also it tells us through how it became popular. It tells us how people in a bad mood and how people feel about it in their companies around the world. So there you have it. Thank you for listening to this video so far. I remind you of my book, Toxic, where I discuss this kind of story in great detail. Right. And it's a book that has changed many people's lives and their perspective on work, on the corporate world. And I'll tell you something, I'll admit something about books, and I haven't heard Joseph Campbell say this or he's been dead for a long time. He's been dead since the 80s, Mr. Campbell. But having spoken and then participated in a seminar, I told you, with his student, Dr. Jung, well, there's one thing I haven't heard you say, and that is that sometimes books also change those who write them. Sometimes stories also change those who tell them. And this book, it shook me up, too, because it's a way of perhaps externalizing or exercising a certain experience that I had in the corporate world. And in fact, in writing this book, it had as much impact on me as it has on those who read it for the first time. There you have it. Thank you, my friends, for listening to this video so far. And I'll see you in the next one.
