IMPOSSIBLE TRIBE 8 12 24

A recorded Impossible Tribe meeting (led by Christian Santiago) where members share weekly wins and troubleshooting: Gabe secures a 90/10 partnership for a window‑cleaning startup and debates whether to focus on sales vs. fulfillment; Terry registers Friendly Properties Group, advances a Welling (long‑term care Airbnb) beta and recruiting plans; Chantel attended a high‑level "Power Couple" retreat (Half Moon Bay) and strengthened access to pastors Ron & Hope Carpenter; Christian teaches a constraints framework (demand, capacity, cash, attention) and the group discusses practical implications (equity splits, recruiting, operational systems, CRM, trust formation, fundraising, retreat logistics).

All.
Michael, I hope you didn't close your eyes because you're driving, man. Look. Look at Michael. What a tank. Dang. Like, I need a. I need to go change. I need to show my stuff. You know what? I'm saying now. Let me stop. I'm being silly. How you guys doing? Talk to me. What's going on? Tell us some wins this week.
How we doing? It is a good week, guys. Happy Monday.
Oh, you're sideways, by the way.
Oh, I'm loading on my computer right now. Is that better?
Yeah. There we go. There we go.
I have a win. If that's okay, I can share it.
Yeah, go for it.
Sweet. So, as you know, I wanted to find that right, who, believe it or not, like, good window cleaning equipment to speed up the process and actually make it a lot more profitable, is like thousands of dollars, like $3,000 per cleaner, roughly, to get the jobs done a lot, lot faster. You can do it with just 10 bucks, which is. Which is easy. But, you know, I've been on the mission to find that right. Partnership. Guys, guys, guess what? The partnership that I thought I got last week, the partnership I thought I got last week, the one that was like. It was like we weren't going to be financially legally tied. He was. I was going to help him with the leadership aspect, and he was going to help me with. Obviously, the learning curve of window cleaning and equipment fell through. There was a miscommunication. There was a miscommunication, and it simply didn't work out. And I was like, what? You could see my face, like, just like, oh, no. Because I wanted to finalize the partnership last, like, the Wednesday this week. And when that did it finalized, I was like. I was like, oh. But the biggest thing, like, I always remember is like, you got to have faith. You got to have certainty that you're going to hit your goal. You gotta have faith. You gotta have certainty that you're gonna hit your goals. So I read my goals myself. I was like, let's go. Come on. Got fired up. And then I was actually, like, kind of renegotiating with that same guy so we can get on the same page. I was kind of okay that we had that miscommunication. We could figure things out. And I called one of the guys that was actually a lot more.
So what was your miscommunication? Really quick was the miscommunication.
He thought that we were going to be financially legally tied.
Instead of separate entities.
Exactly. Yeah. So, like, he was like, okay, let's talk about numbers. And I was like. I was like, what? Like, like, like, like negotiations of like, okay, like, what percent override he's gonna give me on the team and stuff. I'm like, what? And I was like, confused. And then I Was like, oh, no. So bottom line, I end up calling back one of the guys that had actually more experience than him. He lives in North Carolina. The guy that did $300,000 in sales during a summer with only four sales guys and himself super good at profit margins, knows his systems. And I was just asking him, like, I was gonna ask his opinion on something, and he goes, gabe. Gabe.
And he was in that first video?
Yes, he was in that first video. If you guys saw it. He was in the first video, if you guys saw it. And his name was Nick and which I. I really liked him, and I thought we would figure out something good together. And if you see the next series, like, it turned out, like, it didn't seem like a good fit because he didn't want to work during the school year. He did not want to work during the school year because he's just kidding off a long, hard summer. He's like, don't want to grind. Which was okay. It wasn't a good fit. But then as I'm like, kind of asking questions, he was like, you know, Gabe, like, I want to start up a coaching business for this. And he kind of like went on a ramble. He talked for a little bit. I clarified what he was saying. And long story short, he's coming and driving. He's ending his summer early. He's driving down from North Carolina tomorrow. He'll be here tomorrow night. He's bringing his thousands of dollars worth of worth of equipment and his experience. In return, I give him 10 equity of the company with no decision making, and I have 90%. And he's like, man, like, as many times you need me to come down here, I'm ready to build this thing. Because what excites him, guys, what excites him is he wants to have a good freaking case study when he starts this. And what also excites him is that the entire thing was the series is going to be on on video and recorded. So he's like, man, like, if he can see this clearly, like, him walking to the dealership, buying that Ferrari, like, with me, like, with his coaching brand next to it, he was like, man, that excited him. And I think when he watched that first video that I don't know if you guys watched it, that's when it kind of like he saw that clear picture of it. So now I'm like, thank you, God. I'm like, I'm excited. So that is that. That partnership right there is saving me at least. I mean, at least four months of time.
Like, Right. Well, that's one thing, though, that because you have Aaron and his storytelling ability and his. His editing skills, that even though you didn't bring cash to the table, you brought something even greater in the moment to the table, which was exposure for him, especially cutting everything up and having all that to a point that he wants that level of exposure to a point that. That was a great negotiation for you. So when does he arrive?
Tomorrow night.
He's already got people recruited. Because I was looking at that video and you were walking up to everybody.
Yeah, I. I recruited some key guys. I was talking to him. Nick just has a lot more experience than me, and I trust him on his systems because to produce 300, that much profit and with that little people, I was like, hey, Nick, what's the best thing I can do before you get here? I want to have momentum by the time you get here. And he wasn't that excited when I said recruiting. Like, it didn't seem like that was the biggest thing. He goes, gabe, like, let's get the systems downs of, like, just you hiring one worker. And let's like, like, master that process of how we're going to do that first and then build upon that. And then like, once you do that, once you just scale yourself. But let's make sure we get yourself first. So. No, I don't. I have two workers who want to work though. Window cleaners.
Yep, yep, yep, yep.
Oh. But the biggest thing that stuck in my head, right, was like, looking back was like, I was down a little bit. Like, I was kind of like, oh, I thought I was hyped up. I was excited about that partnership I thought I secured. And then it was like I was on a high. And then. And then I was like, oh, that sucks. And then it was like day 10 and I literally haven't knocked the door. I was like, like even thinking, like, okay, maybe I should just start this on my own without having the right. Who, like, having a little doubts. And then I was just like. I was like, regardless, like, what happens, I know I'm going to hit my goal. And just having that such a faith mindset, that certainty mindset, I don't know if you guys know this. Like, I read my goals out loud to myself. I yell them, Christian. I yell them.
And.
I think that certainty and that that faith instead of hope brings a lot of great things.
I love it. I love it, I love it. So you ended up looking at being flexible and securing another partnership, and that. That was confirmed and that was closed out. So you have 9010 equity split. In terms of the financial side, you have a hundred percent control, which is great. So you don't have to do any worry about any board members or any of that. And so you can just make decisions the way you want it.
There it is. There it is.
Yep, there it is. Awesome stuff. Go ahead, Terry.
I was gonna share next, if that's possible.
Yeah, go for it.
I have to be in this practice. Liability purposes. Gabe, way to go, man. Excited. I'm so excited to hear about how that, that time with that gentleman goes. What's up, Rich? Good to see you, bro. Okay, so a couple of wins. Number one, we finalized our business. We're Friendly Properties Group. That's what our, our family's name in business is doing business as Friendly Properties. We've got a domain, we've got emails, we've got as of maybe Thursday, we should be completely opened up in, in.
Wyoming.
And then working on another deal that I have that I feel extremely confident about, much like this last one that fell through, but feel great about the process going through that.
So that should work first. What's that? You put them under contract first.
I know, I'm gonna. I needed to learn that the first time. So, yeah, once that's under contract, I think we'll be okay. Gives you a lot more control. So super pumped about that. Very, very excited. Have all the funding in place. We have what we need. Logos done everything that we needed to do on the back end for that. And then we're going to secure some additional funding hopefully very, very soon. And then, yeah, I'm on chapter four of my book. So rocking and writing and we're ready to go. So those are some big wins. And my kids are back to school. Praise God.
Hey, that's a win. That's a winning app. Yep. Terry, for Move four. Move four. I was going to tell you. Move four, you talked about market book, video, paid ads. No, Move. Move four is, is go get that buddy from that couple. Okay. That's Move four. Yeah, yeah.
That's not going anywhere.
In fact, they're, they're actually sending us to, to a little weekend away, which is really cool too. So I think they just.
Oh, they said you. A weekend away. Hey, hey. Come on. Yes. God. Yep.
That'll be a nice productive weekend for, for us. But yeah, big week. We had her get our kids back to school, but otherwise we still did some things. Got some things moving.
Friendly Properties, right?
Yep.
Huge. Huge. Thank you for sharing. Love it.
Yep.
Who else.
I can go?
Yep. The Question guy for today?
Yeah. First of all, I just want to give a shout out to Gabe in his videos. I've watched all seven days and I've shared, I've shared them with all of my friends. So both of them.
No.
Super proud of you, man. It's really cool to, to see you grinding, doing your thing and following the journey is really, really fun for I, I, you know, I tell my wife about this group obviously and you know, sharing your videos when she, she loves it. She's so excited for you. See what you can do. Yeah, it's really cool. But a couple wins for what I got going on for a local, I mean, we're, we're plugging away. I think that will probably be in two weeks. We're going to start recruiting for caregivers. So we're getting very, very, very close. Our payroll companies is just finishing up building out the section for specifically Alabama is where we're targeting first. Our website isn't even going to be done yet and I don't care. We're just going to start recruiting for it out the gate working with our, I guess we can call them our marketing guy, Alex, which is, which is Josh's referral. I got on a call with him on Saturday and so we're working to finalize, you know, that or work towards finalizing that funnel hopefully here in the next couple weeks at least start working on it. So things are running in parallel for us right now and we're just continuing. There's not, no huge steps from here. It's just doing the work at this point.
Absolutely.
And so our team is really excited and they're on track, I guess a win for my other project, Welling the Airbnb for long term care. It's called Welling. My partner that I secured at that last week, he, he's able to, he was already able to, to get our first facilities to agree to be on the, on the site for beta testing and he has a meeting tomorrow. We need another partnership with a marketing person who's going to be local in his area. Otherwise I would have already hit up Josh. But we need someone who's in his backyard. Otherwise it would have been an easy decision. But he's got a meeting for that tomorrow. Hopefully that goes well, but we're just making progress every day.
I love it. I love it. Gabe, those videos, I'm just saying they're day seven.
Come on, come on, come on.
He's got that 9010 split.
It's, it's Aaron. Aaron has a gift man, he. I mean, like, I'm not the one that edits him and puts in the work. Like, he makes me sound good. He's like. He's a great storyteller, and he's. He puts it. Like, he puts in the work on those videos.
It's like, yeah, about. About possibly jumping on the group. But, you know, he's not ready for the impossible yet. You know, he'll be ready maybe next week, the week after.
So I think. I think he'll be ready. Like, he was really interested when I talked to him, but when you talk to him, Christian, like, he was just like, the advisor that talked to him. Like, didn't, like, like, get upset at him. It was just kind of like, give him a few jabs. So he was like. He was. He did not want to have that talk. He was like.
He was like, of course not. Yeah. Yeah. At that time, he wasn't ready for it, so.
No, but if he walks out here, I'm gonna bring him over here and give him the same. Hi.
No, no, no. I said. I told him he don't even get one ounce of the Impossible Tribe until he's committed.
I love it. I love it.
That's good.
Josh or Michael or my wife.
I guess I can share. Well, when I didn't completely finish the book yet, I was kind of bummed out about it, but I'm. I should be done by tomorrow afternoon.
But.
It has truly been an eye opener for me. I was talking with my mom about it earlier today, but I remember, like, a few months back, I was telling my wife, for the first time in my life, I felt like I didn't know what I wanted to do. Like, I always had an idea of what I wanted to do with my life since around high school. Like, I knew I wanted to work in mass communications. I know I wanted to work with athletes, and I got to do it on a very high level. I got to be around some of the biggest names in sports, and I want. Once I did it, I was like, okay, like, this is interesting. And when I had the vision of working with them, I thought I would be at a certain level in life, but quickly found out that God just allowed me to get a taste of it for the simple and allow me to experience it where I was in life so that I don't get so caught up in enamored with those things because it's a much bigger purpose at hand. So the win is for the first time in my life now, like, since literally joining the Impossible Tribe and Jason getting who, not how, and then referring to kingdom man. And by the. By Wednesday, Thursday, I'm going to start your book, Christian.
I'll.
I feel like I know exactly why I'm here. Like I know exactly why God.
Yes.
Here I know exactly what I'm supposed to be doing in this life with helping young man see the kingdom and just every aspect of their life. And so that, that, that's my win for this week. Like having that full revelation moment. Like this is exactly what I'm supposed to do. And I, I text you this morning, Christian. I also text Jason.
I love it. Yeah.
Like, thank you for sending those books because it really helped me see me. And another one was Alex. And I, I was, I was talking to my wife about a possible. An idea that came to me with partnering with Alex on some things because I really love what, I really love what he does and the network I built. I believe I can really help him 10x. And so I thought of an idea as we were, we drove up to North Carolina last week, and as I was driving up there, an idea came to me to work with him on a specific project. And literally the very next day he sent me a voice message saying he had an idea. And it was the exact idea I had in my head. And so I said, alex, this is a no brainer. We're gonna do it. So we filmed yesterday, we agreed on the partnership, and today I went to work on. Literally my goal is just to help him 10x. So I went to work, got on.
A few sales calls today.
It was very nerve wracking for me, but it felt like this is what I'm supposed to be doing.
So.
Yeah, those are my wins.
Hey, if you need some sales talk, me or Gabe, you know, like.
And I did. I forgot to reach out to Gabe because I told him.
But I'll tell you right now, I.
Gotta, I gotta reach back out to Gabe because it's a, I think it's a very interesting opportunity for him as well. And then I know y', all, you and Alice are going to talk soon.
So I, I think our, our, our talk is on Wednesday. I think it's on Wednesday or Tuesday.
Okay.
So this week. Yeah.
Yeah.
I wouldn't be surprised if something happens there because he, he's. He's a great guy. I think you'll love him.
Yeah. Yeah, I love it. I love it. Huge. No, I appreciate the text you sent me this morning. So, you know, definitely was from your heart. And I know the Lord is not just when you discover Purpose, you discover yourself. When you discover purpose, you discover yourself.
Yeah.
Like, it's not just Jesus wanting to come to give a reintroduction of man to God. He also wanted to reintroduce man to himself, to. To who he really is. And so for you, man, I'm just glad that you are in the process of discovering the real you. And so. And that's going to take everything, like, to another level. Like, people ask me, Christian, like, you step into different rooms and in different industries, and many times you don't even have experience in those industries, but yet you get results. Where does the confidence come from? I said, I just know who I am.
Yeah.
It's just that simple. I know who I am and who I'm not. And so. And so. It's huge. But I love hearing that powerful, powerful stuff. Powerful stuff.
I will go.
He did. Yeah. Michael had a. Definitely had a wardrobe. Let me put some stuff out.
So, yeah, it was actually really interesting because I'm sitting here and I was like, well, I'm listening to all of your wins. And I'm like, this is so amazing. And then Kenny, you mentioned something about, it's just about doing the work. It's just doing the work. It's doing the work. And that resonated with me because this week I didn't actually get to planning, and I was like, oh, man. Like, I was supposed to do so much planning this, but that's okay because I actually did give myself a couple of weeks grace because we're doing so much travel in the next couple of weeks, but I am still going to be planning. That's the biggest thing for me. The win in that for me is that in the past, the past, Chantal would have actually been like, oh, forget, I'm on vacation. Leave me alone. I'm not going to do any work. You know, just would have completely forgotten about it. It's like the win for me is that I'm just like, yes, I'm going on vacation. We're going to do some things over there, but this is a priority for me. This is my impossible goal. And so I'm still going to make the commitment to be planning when we're away. And so that is a win for me because the old Chantel would have been like, peace to the book while we were away. So, you know, that's a win for me. Second win would be this past weekend. And this is part of the reason why I didn't do the planning that I wanted to. To last week was Christian, and I actually we invested in going to a marriage retreat, if you want to call it that, called the power couple experience. And like, what the heck is a power couple experience? And it's just like, it was just phenomenal. It was put on by our senior pastors, Apostle Ron and Pastor Pope Carpenter. And we were over in Half Moon Bay in California. If you, if you know it, you know it. How breathtakingly beautiful it is and how old it was. But it was honestly a really, really incredible experience for so many reasons. Content was absolutely amazing. But being in the room with like minded individuals actually reminded me so much of what God is doing in this room. Like every Monday we get to meet with like minded people. But also being away at this power couple experience was literally at the ex. Same feeling. Like we're in the room with people that are running. We're in the room with people that are like minded. They're not afraid of talking about success. They're not, you know, they're not afraid of.
Yeah, there was a guy in there who's the CEO of a $350 million company that he turned on a billion dollar offer.
Exactly.
His company. Because he knows he could take it at 2 or 3 or 4.
Exactly. Exactly. So it was just a super, super powerful weekend. And you know, I think the biggest win for me out of that whole weekend, other than the powerful connections and that were made, was just honestly how, how close I was able to get to Pastor Hope. And you know, as you guys have heard me talking about, like my desire to do the event and stuff like that, you know, she was going to be one of my key speakers and whatever form this event takes on at the beginning of next year, she will be one of the speakers at that event. And one thing that I really dreamed about the impossible. Right, is that I want her to write my forward for my book. And so the very fact that like this past weekend we had this beautiful opportunity where they got to spend time with us on a personal level, we got to spend time with them on a personal level. It just brought us a lot closer together. And that means that I now have opportunity to, to be able to talk to her about, hey, this is what I've got going on and I would love it, I would be honored if you would write my forward. So I am so super excited about that because now there is like an open doorway to be able to approach her about big things that God is doing and how we can actually do it together. So that's my big win for. That's a big. That's the biggest win.
Oh, that's a huge.
Well, our marriage as well, we come away stronger than ever before, so I love it.
Well, I was going to say, to put in context for this event as well, it was $5,000 per couple to attend and normally on their marriage conferences and pass on a lower amount. Let's say it's 197 per couple or whatever. You'd have over 200, 300 couples at one marriage conference. But this one, you only had 30 to 35 couples. So the circle was small and it's potent because of the investment amount. So, like everyone at my table, you know, all them had multi million dollar companies. You know, there was a guy who owns five scrap yards in South Carolina and Georgia who is right now considering a $50 million buyout check. And he was talking to me and I was able to coach him on some clarity that then he's like realizing, oh my gosh, like, if I make this One move in two years, I could actually sell my company for 100 million as opposed to just 25. I said, give me a 10%. Oh, you can't give me that override. I said, look at that. I said, when you get there, don't forget about your boy. You know, I'll hit you up. Okay. Anyways, let me stop. I'll be dumb. But. But it allowed Chantel to have more access to our pastor when you normally our pastors are. I don't know if you guys know Ron and Hope Carpenter, but they're basically like, like he's a spiritual son of TD Jakes, like personally well connected with like high level people and stuff. And so it's one of those things of man, like to get the access that you can right here, right now, man, it was amazing. They even invited us personally over to their room. They could have asked so many other couples. They asked us, you know, and so like, you know, having those moments was big deal for Chantal. I know. Because now she can just ask personally Pastor Hope, rather than asking her assistant to have a possible conversation and maybe it can go and she doesn't really know her that well. No, no. Now they know. And so it's really close. The circle up. So amazing, right, babe? Huge. I'll also send a video in our chat about the views so y' all could get jealous. So, you know, the views. We had a half moon bay. It's amazing. Ritz.
It's amazing.
Anyways, Michael.
Yes. All right.
So wins with me.
This past week, we did inspections on that home. All inspections Are complete. Everything that you can think of. And so now we're renegotiating off of what came back. We got some good points to negotiate on, so we're waiting for the seller to come back after that. I also realized in the process that I don't want to close in my own name. I want to close in a trust, in a revocable living trust. And so I knew I only had a few days really to figure out how to do it and set it up. So I just, like, who, not how, found someone who knows how to who already had a revocable living and was willing to help me set it up, Notarized it, like, got it done. And now I can give it to the title company, Got my ein for it from the irs. Now I can. I can basically give that to the title company, give it to my lender, and we can close in the trust. So that was a big.
That, like. No, I was going to say, how long would it have taken you by yourself? And then how long did the person it take with the person helping you?
It was like, it took me two days with the person helping me. And it would have taken me. I mean, I would have. I don't know how long it would have taken me. It would have taken months, basically, if I didn't have anybody helping me. So. And that's something I wanted to do for a while. But this process of going after the impossible and then also, like getting the home basically forced me to figure it out, like, very quickly with who, not how to get it done. So that was like a huge win. That's something I want to do for a while. That finally got done and set up. And now I get to, like, learn about how to actually close it in and work with it. And there's all sorts of fun stuff you can do with trust.
So.
So, yeah. And then also when is the rates are dropping, which is not. We're floating my rate on the loan until we can lock it in. It's nice to see that they're dropping and. And yeah, basically. I mean, everything is like culminating. I get married on Friday. So it's like, guys, it's awesome. Life is good.
A new man this weekend.
Yeah, those are my wins.
Huge. No, I love it. Like, he learned how to do an irrevocable living trust. Right? That's how you say it.
Yep.
In two days. By leading into who, not how, versus months by himself. And he also said he was able to do something he's been wanting to do for quite some time. But Wouldn't have happened unless he chased after the impossible. Why? Because demand creates necessity. Demand creates necessity. You don't know how much is in you or your team or your capability until a demand is placed on it. Until a demand is placed on it. And so a demand was placed on Michael and things moved forward. Powerful stuff. I love it. Who not how. Who not how? I'm gonna give you guys some updates on my end too few awesome stuff. Had a conversation with someone on a potential partner level. I have a couple more lined up in general, but this first person is very open to continuing conversation at 30% this personal ad on the product side because the kind of partner I'm looking to add is more on the product driven on the consulting side because I do see the Greatness Institute, that's the name of my peak performance coaching company, to add some growth consulting to it, that then we're going to also add some software on the back end after we've literally mastered our playbook on growing companies that then we put that in a software that then it becomes more valuable that then we can at least shoot for an 8-12x multiple. Okay. And so I had a great conversation with someone and honestly it was probably the first time in a while where I was like, you know what? Like I feel so clear on my vision and where I'm going in terms of company. Like I've got here pure grit, you know, I'm like, let me just get, let me just do the outputs that I need to do to get the result. You know, that's where it's like sending 5,000 cold emails a week to just book calls and then close calls and then do onboarding and then do you know, all that. But now it's like, okay, higher level level, if the goal is much bigger now, I can't go at it the same way. So now, man, I'd never thought about bringing a partner until the goal put a demand on it. And that first partner conversation's gone well. So we're going to number two this week. I'm praying that we finalize it. Second, I got someone to talk to a billionaire for me, you know. You know, we're gonna go, you know, multiple conversations, three, four, five conversations. We're totally fine. We're taking it slow. But you know, seems like, seems like it was a positive first talk. Right, Gabe?
That was a big win. Wow. Yeah, I, I, I finally like, I, I showed up the office to like go try to meet him and the, the front desk lady was, I think.
Did you Bring those flowers.
No, I didn't end up going to flowers because I was thinking I should still do it, even though I'm not gonna book a meeting that way.
Yes, still do it because you might need something in the future and you want her to remember you.
Should I stop by and drop off the flowers?
Yeah, you should still do it. You should still do it. Yeah.
Okay. I'll be like, hey, I talked with Jim already. I just want to bring you this. Maybe you're having a bad, bad week or something.
Bad week the other week. Absolutely. Because you want her to remember you. So when she comes in, when you come in later on, there it is.
Yep.
Yeah.
But long story short, I end up meeting a lot of people. My a lot of gym the billionaires friends. And I texted one of them, but this is before I went. And I was like, hey, like I told him I wanted to talk with Jim. He goes, oh, just come to the charity event. And I was like, oh, why didn't I think of that? He's at the, his charity he owns every Saturday like 9 to 11. So then showed up there and just, just, just talked with him. So it was like a perfect, perfect, you know, initial conversation to lead, you know, to another conversation. I kind of build a foundation to build something great to make that connection to Christian, which is big. Let's go.
Hey, you go get that seven figure thing right there.
I know. And there's an opportunity on that end because he's got a lot of windows.
He's got a lot of windows that need some cleaning. So I love it. So that was huge. Number two, who? Not how as well, because with Gabe, hey, like the person told him, well, why don't you just show up at the charity event? He's like, oh, my gosh, yes. Showed up at the charity event. He had three interactions with Jim. His name's Jim at that charity event. And that third one was the best one. Was able to talk with them. The guy gave him a book, right? He gave you a book?
Yeah, he gave me. He gave me his book. He like just wrote. He was all excited about it, like, yep, fresh coffee.
Maybe we should have him talk at our impossible tribe because he's a faith guy, right?
Oh, that's a good idea.
This Guy owns like what, 4, 500 units in Boca?
8, 000 plus 8,000 plus.
What if we have him speak? Because faith, that could be a huge lead in.
All right, yeah.
Talk to us. Okay, cool.
He'll do that. He'll do that.
He would do that. Yeah, yeah, yeah, absolutely. Guys, how many of you guys want to hear from this guy? Jib Bat, Bayesium. Guys, this is how, this is literally how like Gabe and I talk on the phone sometimes and we thinking about ideas. It's just like one thing and then all of a sudden another, another. Anyways, so anyways, that might be awesome, bro. That might be awesome that that's the.
Way we're going to do it. It's way more of a gradual lead.
Yeah, absolutely. He's going to see how we lead the group. Absolutely. Okay, cool. All right. So I'm like, I'm excited. Okay, go make the call tomorrow.
No, I'm just kidding.
Anyways, so third thing that's been a win this past weekend. Chantel kind of mentioned it a little bit on the power couple experience. I was also able to have a bunch of conversations with high level people. Some people want to you know, kind of connect with me in terms of like some of my coaching and stuff. They need it. They're feeling the stress. Some of their testosterone levels have dropped because of how much stress they've been. They're at like, like a testosterone like 290 which is like as much as a 75 year old man. 290 is 75 year old man. Okay. A 15 year old boy's testosterone is 1500. Okay. So, but huge wins on that regard. Able to talk with this guy named Eric. He's the CEO of a life insurance company which they started it I think a year, year and a half ago. They're already at 350 million. He was one of the top, if not the top guy producing guy for World Financial Group when he started his own brokerage. And we were able to talk about what is the impossible look like at his level. And so, so there's good insight on different conversations on how it's similar to some of the other clients that I work with that are doing some big things. But he's obviously doing some huge things because he turned down a check for a billion where someone tried to buy him out already and he's like. I was like, yeah, because you know they're, they're gonna buy you out in the next three to five years. They're trying to 3 to 5x the, the, the investment. I was like that's how the game plays. So that means, you know, in the next three years you could probably ask for five times more and you got a bit bigger equity stake at that point. So, so that was awesome. Really connecting with high level people. But then Too having a personal connection with Pastor Ron. Like when I tell you guys, like how well connected he is in the ministry side, God has opened some doors for me to connect with him on creating a possible. And this isn't, this isn't going to take a lot of my focus, but it just needs a lot of my expertise in a way of what it looks like to create kingdom high performance breakthrough coaches. He already has so much content on the kingdom, but now what does it look like to add some of the professional coaching side where he can almost create his own John Maxwell certification? Because John Maxwell has like leadership coaches and stuff and leadership certification. He's personally great friends with John, but he's never known how to go about it or how to add the coaching side. And that's where I can add the expertise on that. And so being able to have that connection with them was huge. And then the last thing, which is the biggest win. This happened literally yesterday night. Okay, so super quick. I connected with a guy named Owen who might actually join our group. He's from Australia and he's in his coaching business. He's done like, you know, seven figures in a year before. He's done a hundred thousand a month. I think his highest month he's ever done was 200,000 in a month kind of thing. But he kind of fluctuates a little bit. But he slowed things down. My bad. I know my chair is very squeaky. Well, some of you guys been messing messaging me. Hold on, hold on. Give me a second. Let me, let me, let me fix my audio. Hold on. There we go. You can't hear the squeaky chair anymore, right? Only here. Ah. I changed, I changed the background noise. I love it. Thank you for letting me know. But so his name's Owen and I got on a call with him because he's high level entrepreneur. He was, we kind of reconnect. I got on a call with him a week and a half ago and I don't normally do free sessions, but he's a personal friend. I've spoken at his events and he's running, you know, and so I told him about watching this one video because he was spending three days to kind of get clarity on his own because he knows, okay, like I know for the next year and a half what I want my business to be at. And so I said, before you even consider that, watch this video. Watch Myron golden and Ben Hardy, like go for the impossible. Like, watch it. So we ended up having two different conversations and, you know, two things happened. One, he's like, he knows how I operate sometimes where I just give, give, give without expecting. And so he blessed our, our ministry so we have a ministry you can donate to. So he donated to the ministry. I said, oh, that's a blessing. Thank you so much. The second thing was when he sent me a voice message yesterday and it was at night, and he said, christian, he was like, I was thinking about how we can spend more time together. And I'm gonna be in, in the United States. All right. I'm gonna be in the United States in the end of August. And I'm going to be there for about three days, four days. And I was thinking about your impossible goal because actually he asked me what my impossible goal was. I told him actually what it is, and he was like, whoa, that's kind of big. And I was kind of nervous on sharing it. I was like, I don't even know if he's going to, if he's going to even like, take it or not or if he's going to accept it or not. But you know what, I'm going to share anyway. Like, how much do I believe in it? I don't care whether he owns it or not. I don't need his approval for, for me to take on my impossible. So I shared it. And he was like, whoa, you know, and he said, so I was thinking about you and your impossible goal. And I was like, you know what? I want to invite you to this event I'm going to as to why I'm in the States at the end of August. He said, christian, have you heard of the School Games by Alex and Layla Hormozi? I was like, yeah. And he was like, how many guys know who Alex Hormozi and Layla Hormozi are? He was like, yeah, I was actually one of the 10 winners. And so they said I could bring a plus one or a business partner. And so, you know what? You're my business partner. And so do you want to fly with me to go meet Alex and Layla Hormozi face to face and their team by the end of the month? He's. All you gotta do is pay for your plane ticket. And we were staying at a mansion, you know, sponsored by the school, you know, the company school. And we're gonna spend an all one day event with them and their team. And he was like, I was thinking you either could have investors there or you learn how they do their business growth and investment. So that way you learn from them and that could help on your Impossible goal. And so with your impossible goal, I was thinking, you know what, why don't I bring Christian as my plus one? So guys, like, I'm going to go by the end of this month. I told you, look, I said it wouldn't have happened until I shared my impossible goal. He said, because I was thinking about you and your impossible goal. So I don't care how far fetched. Literally. Yeah, Chantel literally is hilarious. I was like, baby, I just got an invitation to go. She said, babe, you better go. Leave the. Don't worry about them. I got them. You're gonna go over there? I said, yes, ma', am, I shall. I said, yeah, absolutely. And so literally so. But it wouldn't have happened unless I shared my impossible goal. It wouldn't have triggered to think, oh my gosh, I should bring Crystal with me. Unless it alignment is impossible. He's like, I just, you know, I thought of you and I just was thinking, man, how's it going to align with your impossible goal? And so guys, like, I am going to be able to go meet the hermosis face to face at the end of the month. And so I'll be flying to Vegas and all I got to do is pay a 500 ticket round trip ticket. That's it. And I, I did tell oh and I said, oh, and you got like free sessions for life. Let me stop joking. Obviously, that's it. But. So he's in the process of defining his impossible goal. And then he'll join our group because I told him, I said, hey, to protect the group. I don't want you to join until you've established your impossible goal. Because the this group doesn't have a cost to it. The only cost is your comfort. That's it. And so but I'll be meeting the hormosis. So who would have thought just by starting by the impossible that that'll happen? So. Hey, isn't that cool, guys? That's crazy. That's pretty cool, dude.
That's incredible. Oh my gosh, that's wild.
I didn't even know he won those games when we were I was talking about the impossible either. I was like, Owen. And so I got all the details and so I'll be booking the flight.
What is he, what does he do on school?
He has his. So he's great at building community. When I tell you, like, he builds a low ticket community, he's had over, I don't know, like 2,000, 3,000 people, 4,000 people in his community that he's built up. And so he's great at that. I'm amazing at selling high ticket stuff. I'm like, you're trying to sell 497amonth? I'm trying to sell $10,000 a month. Like, I'm like. I was like, I can't. I don't want to settle 497. Like, that's not for me. That's not Christian Santiago. You know, it's like, I'm trying to have less clients, less focus, greater profit. Anyways, but anyways. But that's what he does. And so I'll actually come in. I said, look, I'm gonna get there a day early, and I want us to actually connect like investors, because even if I'm not getting a percentage of what you're doing, I want to act like business partner. So if you ask me questions, I know what we're talking about, but I'm still gonna ask my own questions as long as they're okay. And so. So that'll be cool. That's where we're at. Then I tell you, I was crazy. Like, who would have thought?
Anyways, Penny asked a really great question just in regards to the. The power couple experience. And he was just wondering, what was one takeaway that you noticed from the high level people that you were around?
Wait, wait. Before I answer that, I'm gonna answer that. Okay, guys, really quick. I've got a text to read from Mia because she's flying, but she was able to at least send a text, and I'm gonna read it. She said, hi. Continuing forward momentum. I have talked through, talked it through, and they want to provide Campo Bello there. So Nia has a property that has, I think, like five acres, plus a big house in Campobello, South Carolina, which is about 20, 30 minutes away from where we live. For the impossible tribe, food, lodging, and airport transportation will be included Sunday evening to Wednesday evening. So that's September 22nd and 25th. So you guys just need to get there. Okay, so there are rooms that are going to be the accommodation. The house fits 14 people, but that's with five bed and four baths. Okay, so five bed, four baths, but it can accommodate 14 people. Okay, so. So the only thing that they ask is a simple 125 to $150 per person. Like, if you guys can just give 125 or 150, that'll help cover everything, because then they're going to cover all the additional expenses. So 125 to 150 total, which you Would have spent that more than a night at a hotel, you know, it's like. Anyways, so they want to secure headcount.
So.
They'Ve asked me. I'm gonna. Here we go. All right. I'm gonna text.
What day did you say it was?
So it'll be. So it'll be. Everything will be block. This is what she said right there. Boom. And then this is the. I'll show you guys the house.
Okay.
So you guys can see it. This is the place. Here we go. 14 guests. Yeah. Acres, you can walk, nice bathroom. Then we can also do outside cookout. Has a patio, all that. So it's got more than enough beds as well. Shower, all of that. It's great. So you can easily. They also got a fire pit outside too, so. Yeah. So that's where it's at. Okay. And this is. Well, if your wife. I think we'll talk to them. Like, if you want to bring your wife. I'm not per se. Like, you just, you know, I think they'll be all right. We'll talk to them. Okay, we'll talk to them. But it'll most likely still be 150 per person, though, so. Okay. So that'd be awesome. Okay. But want to let you guys know that. Super beyond generous. Anyways, so I want to share that because they had texted me that. So if we can confirm those next steps. Hey, phobi, can you add those next steps as well? If you can just copy that on a doc and then we can paste in the WhatsApp after. After we're done. Don't paste it now.
Wait, wait.
Just copy it.
Who owns this?
Mia.
Wow, that's really nice.
Toby wasn't in here, so I'll text her.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, text her. Okay, awesome. But anyways, great question. Kenny. Yes. What was one takeaway you noticed from the high level people you're around at the retreat? Here's one thing I love to notice is a couple things. One, and I'll give you guys a few takeaways. And this is. This first one's kind of a funny takeaway. Like, and it's always an encouragement to me. Like, you could still build an incredible business with. Doesn't matter what personality you have. Like, I saw some of these people that were like, super outgoing and super like. And then there's some people like Eric, the $350 million guy who didn't talk to nobody. I thought I was the only one who really, like, went up and talked it, you know, he was like, to himself and you wouldn't have known you would have like, but it's truly all, like, it doesn't matter what your personality is. What matters is, man, how focused they were on the results. Like, that's like Eric, like, he was cool with having a two minute conversation with you. He wasn't trying to like. And we had a faith based event. So I'm thinking like, you know, and I was like, oh, I know what I need to do. I talked my second time I talked to him. I didn't talk much. I asked questions and then I got way more info from him than ever. The second thing was especially on the, on the level at that they are, at the people that we are with, all of them are chasing a vision that's so big that it demands all of them. That it demands all of them. Like, like I didn't see any bored people there because I've been in some rooms with some successful people that are bored. They're like, oh, you know, and that's why they fill their time with like golf and you know, maybe just going on their private jet to like the Greek islands for like, you know, 16 days kind of thing. Yeah, that's great. I'm not saying you shouldn't have vacation, but if you're doing that to pass the time, then that means something's up. Something's up. And so, and I would say third thing is, I don't care how high you get. It's one thing I've learned there is the value of discipline, pure discipline. The people up there, they have way more shiny opportunities than we have here.
Now.
You want to talk about shiny object syndrome? Imagine a billion dollar check being given, like being waved in your face. And he says no. Be honest. If the enterprise you have right now, you were like offered a billion dollars right now, how many guys would take it? He said no. And so even that was a shiny object. He says, I, he told me, he says, I have a vision that we're going to hit in 2030. And I said, well, what would it take for you guys to hit in three years? He said, oh, actually, we're actually on track to do that. And then I asked him, okay, so what's stopping you from making that your goal? Like, you can spread it out to 2030, but if you're already on track to hit in three years, well then what's stopping you of making that hard deadline right there? And so, but for him, it was like literally him not giving up on anything less than his vision. He wasn't lowering it. And So I can't even express how many times, even for me, I've lowered my vision just because of specific things or just because even a good reward came up. I'm like, oh, that's great. Let me just stop right there. That's good enough. He said, no, no, no, no. And then here's a side note. This is a simple one, but it's like, man, you could literally not be good with people and still be. Still be uberly successful. You know, it's like, I was like, man, some of these people just suck with people. But that's fine, you know, like, totally great. It's awesome. I was like, so it's great. It was awesome. So that was one thing I would say. The thing I was most challenged about was this, which is actually we're going to talk about today, is you won't. You will never. Like, it's not your. It's not. It's not the level of your potential that you've got to focus on. It's actually the constraints that will hold you back from fulfilling your potential. One of the things I noticed when we were at the power couple experience was everybody in that room who was. They were married to leaders. You know, like the wife and the husband was doing something. And one of the things we had a conversation with one of the couples there. I told Chantel about one of our rules that we have with marriage whenever we're coaching anybody in marriage, especially leaders who live together, is how raw and powerful and intense your emotions or conversations will be compared to just regular couples who are together. Okay? I tell people this. When leaders marry together, throw out the rule book out the window because you're not like everybody else. And the faster you accept that, the faster you can create your own rules. And so one of the things that I noticed in our time was they never talked about the limitless potential you guys have in the room. They only talked about the traps that will stop you from reaching your potential. Like, all the content in all of the sessions was not about, oh, how big you guys can become. Let's dream for bigger dream. No, no, no. It's the. These are the traps that are going to get you in the way because they don't need to talk to you about going after your potential. Why? Because they already knew that for you to be in the room, it means you've already accepted how high your potential is. That's not the problem. The problem is the constraints. It's not your potential. You don't grow to the level of your potential. You Grow to level of your constraints. You grow to the level of your constraints. You do not grow to your potential, you grow to your constraints. And if you don't focus on your constraints and you don't solve for that, what are the things that are getting in the way, then you will not grow. I mean, think about it like this. You have two people who have the potential to jump as high and go touch the moon and back. One person's in a one story house while another person's in a 50 foot skyscraper. Both have the same potential. Who's going to jump higher? Who's going to jump higher? You can put in the chat or you can go off mute and say it. Who's going to jump higher?
Skyscraper.
The skyscraper. The skyscraper. Why? Because the ceiling is much higher. The constraint, the limit is much higher. Both have the same potential. One is less held back by setbacks. One that doesn't have as much limitations on them. And so your company, your organization, where you're at your ministry, you're not going to grow to your potential, you're going to grow to your constraints. And there are five constraints that actually four constraints that I want you guys to really think through in terms of what are the things that are holding me back from reaching my impossible goal. It's usually an area of four things and I wanted to find a constraint really quick. Okay, A constraint is something you don't have enough of, that you need, something you don't have enough of, that you need. Like for example, man, we can grow. We've already have the strategy, we have the pathway, we have the all of that. But then guess what, we don't have enough cash to scale. So their constraint is capital. We want to hit our impossible goal. We have the people, the infrastructure, we have the incredible product, but we don't have the capital. And the cons, the, the cash. That's why a lot of tech companies all of a sudden go on a raising fund fund. They go on a raising spree, so they raise capital. They raise $200 million in Series B and series C because they figured everything out. The only constraint that they have is the capital that then they're willing to give up. And the founder is willing to have 18 of his company instead of the 70% he's willing to have 18 because now he can use that 300 million to take it to the roof, then take it public, that then they have a market cap of $6 billion in 36 months. Is what happened with Uber, that now that 16% of 6 billion it's much bigger than 60% of. I think at the time they're at 20 million because they solve for the one constraint. Does that make sense? So what's something you don't have enough of that you need? Okay, but I want you guys. You guys know the 8020 rule, right? 80, 20, 80 20. Okay, 20 of your stuff comes from 80. I mean, 80% of your results comes from 20 of your outputs. But I want you guys to think of. Let's even go deeper. Okay, what's 20% of 20? 20% of 20 is 4. But what's 80% of 80%? Let's say if we do another 80, 20 on the 80 20. 80% of 80% is 64. So four things fix 64 of your problems. But let's say let's do one more 20 and 80. So 20 of 4 is 0.8, which we round up to 1. But then 80% of 64 is 51.2%. So there is one problem that if you figure out, will fix 51% of your problems, which is why I tell people, what's the one thing? There's probably one thing. Probably one thing. So I'm going to give you guys the fault. Four constraints. I'm going to say. I'm going to say. I'll say four. It could be split into five, but number two can be split into two separate ones. But so number of. First constraint is demand. Demand. Do you have enough demand for your goal? Like, for example, you want. Like, like, I know, okay, for me to get to my billion, my, my billionaire net worth. I know I need to take this company to $100 million, but I needed to have a software added to it. So that way we can at least get an 8x to a 12x multiple. But then I can use some of that cash to then go buy real estate, which then increases my net worth. But for my company, do I have enough demand to get to that? Do I have enough demand? So the first constraint is demand. Okay? Demand. Do you have enough demand for the thing you're selling or creating? All right, Number two, do you have enough capacity? Capacity? Capacity. Fulfillment. Okay, that also means supply as well. Capacity. People. Also mental and emotional capacity. Because you could have the people and you could have the hours, but are your people psychologically strong enough to handle that demand instead of having burnouts or breakdowns happen a ton of times? Okay, but also capacity could also be supply. Do I have enough supply to fulfill this as well? Number three, do you have enough cash or capital? All right, cash or capital to meet your goal. And then the last one, and I would say capacity also can include knowledge base as well. Because it's like, hey, you might get a demand for window cleaning, but you don't even have the capacity to fulfill one because you don't even know how to do it at all. You know, it's like, but that's where, okay, how can I find the who that can help me fulfill that capacity? You're like, I can do great on the demand. And then the last one is attention. Attention. The constraint of attention. So one of the things in that time of the power couple was, man, they were more focused on what are the constraints that hold them back rather than only focusing on their limitless potential because they knew they were going to keep growing. They just had to keep. Stop saying that was blocking them from growing. Once they solved it, then they go up, and then they find a different constraint and then they solve that, then they go up, then they find a different, and then they solve that, and then they keep going up. This guy, Eric, 350 million, and I think it was 12 months. But he came from World Financial Organization. But one of his biggest constraints he knew was going to be the, the legal issues because he was coming and he recruited a lot of people from where he was at. So he said, how do we do it on a different legal entity? Because I don't have enough cash to go through a huge lawsuit, so what can we do to fix that? So that way I can transfer things over and get the people I need without needing to burn a lot of money fighting off lawsuits because he didn't have enough cash. So guess what? He fixed a constraint that was going to help him on the cash side. Does that make sense? And so he, he organized a structure in a very unique and unconventional way. So it shielded him. So that way his cash was protected and preserved and then he can grow.
I, I understand that clearly. What was the attention? I don't understand the attention. The fourth one.
So attention are, do you have enough. Is your attention too spread out that you aren't focusing on the constraint? Like, if you know it's a cash problem, if you know it's a demand problem, lead generation, like, let's say I'm talking to a chiropractor. You know, he's like, oh, I want to have 10 chiropractor practices, you know, 10 personal practices in the next 12 months I will go through, okay, like, do you have enough demand? Do you have enough capacity? Do you have a cash attention? Okay, for him if his issue is capacity, he doesn't have. He's getting a lot of demand, but he doesn't have enough chiropractors under him. And he wants to talk to me about how to run Facebook ads, which is all about lead generation and demand. I'd be like, you're spending way too much time and attention on the wrong constraint. Or he is literally could be so spread thin that it can't even focusing on recruiting new people. So he then needs to hire someone to take care of his emails, his scheduling, his bookkeeping, all that. So that way that stuff that he would spend on now he can put towards those hours on the capacity side. That does that make sense? And so it all has to do with attention, attention, attention. And so I wanted to share this with us, with you guys, because you don't grow to your potential, you grow to your constraints in the marriage. It's like, hey, every couple there is going to do big things, but what are your constraints for them? It was like a lot of them, they do not, they do not slow down enough to appreciate each other. You guys are going to reach your potential, but what's going to ruin that potential? Not slowing down to enjoy each other. You guys are going to do big things. But another thing, getting fulfillment only on big things. A lot of them was not good at getting fulfillment on little things, on the small things that matter. So it was like, man, like our pastor told us a story of how he had a 10,000 square foot home. He had like all these other cars, paid for, Jaguars, everything. And all of a sudden he comes to home, to an empty home, and he talked about his marriage, you know, how it went through a crazy rocky time. God restored them, which is awesome, you know, to testimony, you know, but he said, man, it's because we did not enjoy even the little things. He's like, even cutting my grass where I would be sharp edges and I would just stare at my grass. Wow. Now I've hired everything out. They used to give me satisfaction enjoying the little things. He's like, man, like, we used to enjoy putting on ornaments on the trees. He's like, but now we have eight trees in our house and we hire people to, to build it, to do it for us and to put it around the house, house that they have. He's like, but this, these past two Christmases, we've stopped and we've done one tree. But us, like, the issue wasn't their potential. It was the constraint of only getting satisfaction from achieving big things. Can you achieve the Small things. Does that make sense? So with what you're chasing, with the impossible, ask yourself, do I have enough demand to reach my goal? Do I have enough capacity to reach my goal? Whether it's knowledge, whether it's people, whether it's supplies, whether it's any of that. Do I have enough cash to reach my goal? And do I have enough attention on that to reach my goal? Figure out what's the one constraint. I guarantee you it's not all four of them. Okay? It's probably one of them that if you solved, would fix all the other ones and it'd be much easier. And then once you do that, guess what? Chasing the impossible comes a little bit easier. Because now your focus, you have selective attention. There's something in peak performance psychology called selective attention. Like, for example, athletes, they don't like, for example, Kobe Bryant used to master the one dribble, pull up. He would do that every single time, hours upon hours, 200 reps at a time. He didn't care. The same move over and over and over again. Selective attention on one thing. He could have practiced everything. No, no, no. Mastery. What? Because your brain has a finite amount of energy. It has 2% of your body weight, but it takes 25 to 30% of your energy, the biggest energy cog by far of your entire body. And so what? You put your attention on, Pay attention to that. So, like, simplify. What is the constraint? What is the constraint like right now for Chantelle with the event, her biggest constraint isn't. Isn't, you know, whether we have the cash yet, the demand yet, it's the capacity to fulfill it. That means she doesn't even have a product yet. So she's got to write that book. So we could get a product to sell at the event. So that way we're also using it. So that way we also. All of a sudden, she's focusing on that. Yes, we're having a team. Where do. We're working some. We're getting dates available so we can book it ahead of time, but we're solving for that. Okay? I'm like, I want you to spend 80% of your time on that. Does that make sense? So if you guys can write down right now what you could see your constraint being right now from hitting your possible goal. And capacity could also be on the legal side too. Like, we don't even have the capacity to do business in this state yet and stuff. So it's like, okay, let's. Let's take care of that. Hey, we're gonna Be praying for you. Friday is the day, guys. Friday's the day he gets married. Friday is the day he gets married.
Christian, can I say something real quick?
Yeah, go for it.
So the biggest thing I noticed when you were talking is like.
Instead of.
Focusing so much of like, okay, how, like how can I grow? How can I grow? It's like focusing almost like the negatives, like, okay, what is holding me back? What is holding you back? And out of those things that are holding you back, obviously you name four main ones. And you said by fixing one of the possible, you know, main four constraints that'll solve 51% of your problems, which is incredible. I love it. Now let's say someone that is in my shoes right now who, you know, I haven't begin in motion yet. I mean, I have, right? But yeah, I haven't started producing revenue yet. When I look at these ex. I mean, I could literally like, I wish I had all. All four. Like genuinely.
Yeah, you're like all of my, like all of my problems are all four of them, right?
Yeah, yeah. Because I haven't produced revenue. So I don't know, like.
Yeah, well, you're, you're so, so do the guess. Do the guess. What do you guys think? What do you think it is? What's your constraint? One of them.
Well, the demands out there, demand for me is doors, right. So it's just like I just have to go do it. But yeah, a constraint is definitely demand for window cleaning.
Well, I would say when I say demand, I'm talking about demand where people are demanding of you. So right now you have zero demand. Even if there's demand out there, but you have zero demand. You don't have a demand right now. Nobody's knocking on your door saying, I want your company to clean my windows. Does that make sense?
Yep. Yeah. So demand of me, definitely capacity. I feel like, you know, like that could be the. Could be people or even supply. Like I don't have the right kind of people that can handle that overload. They'll get overwhelmed. Or, or do I have enough supply, enough window cleaners? I think both. But that who that's going to be coming in is going to help me a lot with that because he'll make sure the people aren't overwhelmed. He'll be system. Systematize everything. Cash or capital. I think that who's also solving that because I did need cash or capital for like if I wanted to really ramp things up. But he's bringing his thousands dollars worth of equipment and is my Attention? No, because it wouldn't be my attention because I'm focused on.
Yeah, that's. That's not a constraint for you. So guys, what do you guys think his constraint is right now that's stopping him from getting his goal 500, 000 in six months. 500000 cash.
For your strategy depends on your partnership with your constraint. Because you. I mean, your constraint is who is your who, and you're bringing into who to fill that constraint. Yeah, because, like, I have a graveyard of great ideas because I try to achieve them by myself, and I'm whack when I'm by myself. I'm the worst man, but my team's killer. And the only thing that I'm good at is getting them to move in the right direction. And so for you, like, you're a great. You're. It seems like you are good at both that you can just do, like move mountains by yourself, but you can also get people to move and move mountains with you. But for this specific thing, it depends on the who because your whole focus right now is finding the partner. It depends on what their partner's strengths are, and then you'll know what the next constraint is. So it really just depends on that strategic partnership. It's hard for me to look at.
That's a perfect point. I agree with you a lot. Depending on his promises, what he's good at, what he's bad at. Time will tell what my constraint is.
Yeah, because you. I mean, you haven't built the thing yet.
Well, that's what I was gonna say right now. Right now. So Josh put it up. It's capacity. Because what did. What did. What did your partner tell you? Like, he said, well, first you're like, let's go recruit. You were trying to focus on demand. And he said. And he said no. What did he tell you? What did he tell you, Gabe?
He was like, before we recruit, let's master you plus one worker. Like, let's really systematize this and really master. Instead of you trying to recruit first, let's like, let's go knocking together and let's just have one worker and let's master you getting deals plus your worker in the moment that you know you can master that. Then at the point, just duplication.
Right. So your constraint is all capacity. That means you've got to go in and learn as fast as you can. I know you want to focus on recruiting and demand and all, but the more you spend more time on that constraint and you fix it. How do you know when it's the right time to change? When the constraint moves. When the constraint moves. Like right now, your number one constraint is capacity. You don't know how to do this. So even if you got one person, a request of you, you wouldn't be able to fulfill that. You wouldn't. But then once, you know a few times, then you're like, okay, I already know how to do it. Now we don't have enough demand for me to reach my goal. So that's now the constraint. Now let me go recruit like crazy and do that so we can have so much demand and fix that constraint. That means you're not working on capacity at the time. You're not worried about cash, you're not worried about any of that. You're going to fix the constraint that then you get so much demand that you're like, oh my gosh, like we need to hire way more people now because things are falling through the roof and people are not staying with us. They're saying our fulfillment is not as good and all of that. Then you need to fill out the capacity. But then let's say you're bleeding cash. Let's say you're not doing that well to all of a sudden you're not going to hit your profitability goal. Now your problem is cash. Now you need to look at what am I doing with my cash or how am I structuring some of these things? Do I have to change the compensation structure a little bit too? How can I change it to such a way that they still are. Are amped to go after it? But I still get my goal because cash is still matters.
Can I ask a clarifying question for Gabe? In, in this structure, I was under the impression that you were essentially creating a, a sales almost like an agency where you're going to create a team that would knock and create this sales funnel and then just feed like an option like, like houses like options and like feed this. These clients to already established cleaners. But now, but now it sounds like you're actually just just creating a, a window cleaning business and not just doing like.
Yeah, not being a sales agency for window cleaning business.
Yeah, I was actually okay with doing it the way you were thinking. And I was completely open to that. Like I was a hundred percent open to that. Because at the end of the day, like, I feel like I could focus on the thing I'm really, really good at, which, which is, you know, is not. When cleaning windows. I think the part I. I even cold called some people like I, I wouldn't have any success. I didn't do it for long enough. But I was, I was cold calling some people to actually get some ballpark numbers. But at the end of the day, like if I found a good partnership, I would say like a good partnership. What are they going to take? They're going to take minimum. 50. I mean minimum. I would say based on my friend looking at becoming a broker for a window cleaning company. That's like just based on what he, he was talking about. So that's half my profits off the table. When I could just pay someone, obviously it's another step, you know, but 20 bucks an hour for the whole day, which is $175. I'm just saying average what Nick pays his workers, $175 for the day and he could clean six windows. It's like, it's like a toss up. I think the reason though, to clarify that Kenny was like the reason why I'm okay with, with doing it this way is because I have someone coming down here and showing me how to do the way he did it. And he didn't do it the way as a broker, he did it having his in house workers. And he was super profitable. Like for the amount of sales guys he had. I loved it. It was like four sales guys plus him making 15 grand a week profit for himself. Like, and I think that's why I was like, I'm not even interested in looking the other way, which could be something bad.
I don't know.
What do you guys think? Do you think I should still really look at. Become like the.
Go ahead. I feel like you got something burning. Go. Go for it. Go for it.
I just see where you're. It's. It's hard for me to speak into it because I'm pretending like I know you and I don't know you, but it seems like you're, you're thinking your thing is. It's just freaking selling your face off and creating the team to sell. And I just don't, I just don't know why you'd want to be on the other end of fulfillment on that. Fulfillment sucks. That's the hardest part. That's the hardest part. Like it just is. And like I have a.
This is.
I was going to message you before just out of curiosity if you'd be interested in this, but it doesn't, it's too. I, I don't want to, I don't want you to, to go shiny object syndrome on this. But I had a buddy who, he's an rn, hates being a nurse who's just like, let me try something else. Had a friend teach him how to clean pools. He lives in Arizona. In 3 months, he had a pool route of like 90 pools and was on pace to make like 300k in just cleaning pools. And he did nothing. It was just word of mouth. He did absolutely nothing. No sales abilities, no anything. He just knows how to clean pools by just a friend teaching them over the course of a weekend and was just cleaning pools. He sold his route. And the going rate over there is like a thousand bucks a pool and still gets referrals, has no website, has no Facebook, does, puts in zero effort and sends those pools to the other. To the guy that he sold it to for still a thousand bucks a piece. Every single time someone just calls his phone and he's literally, I'm talking like, no effort, no ability. And it's like. And I'm like, buddy, that's your business. Like, screw nursing. Like, just, just sell pools and then you don't have to worry about cleaning them.
Thousand bucks a pop.
What are you doing? You know, and for him, there's no. The. The CAC on that is zero for him. You know, it's just infinite return for him. And for then. And it sounded like that's kind of the, the way that you were going to go about this. Of like, I get pools, I sell pools to the agencies that I've partnered with.
A thousand bucks to pool. Pool.
A pool. Yeah, because the LTV, I pay like.
I think like 100 bucks a month for my, for. For my, for my pool. So they're, they're saying the LTV of pool is just about a year. Like, I mean, just like over a year because, like, that's 1200 bucks for the year.
So they're upselling, they're upselling maintenance packages, they're upselling chemicals, they're upselling filters, they're upselling all of this stuff that, you know, as long as they don't get crazy disappointed, you're going to be their same client for, for years and years, and they'll get that back. But not to send you off down the rails of the pool business. I mean, pools is cool. I think that Florida would probably really be really popular. And it's not. There's no season to it. I don't think you need to pool cleaned all year round. But with windows coming back to windows, I just see an agency, it just sounds like you could just say, hey, what would it be? How much are you paying Your, your sales guy right now, you know. Well great. Well if you partnered with us we can you know guarantee these results and it, you can make that make sense. You can give them a no brainer value crop that would be y no brainer would make sense and they would understand it to where they break down the math and then you don't got to worry about fulfillment and staying and stay in the your powerhouse of I do you know what you do and if you eventually want to roll it all together of like I now I'm just going to open up all of it.
Here's one little thing. Something that like a little details is like what I'm realizing the business of window clean which is more than I thought was people are selling plants. People are selling plants. So it's like yeah, like you want your windows clean but in every quarter they're going to get dirty again. Like so after you sell it it's like oh by the way, the holiday season is coming up by the way. If we put you on a quarterly plan so let's come out what's poor on autopay. Like we'll clean your windows again and if we do that we'll give you a 30% discount for this time. So these plans are really, really good. Sure. So then it's like I, I'm just talking out loud as you're saying that. I think then we'd have to set up something like a plan commission obviously with them also.
But you're still avoiding what he's saying about staying on the sales side. So, so, so the biggest thing is.
Like based on what I've heard it's like the question is could I do double the amount of results or double the amount of like, like if they're only paying me 50, right. Like half of what I would normally get paid, can I do double the amount of sales by just focusing on the sales side?
Now does that make sense if you're just doing sales?
Yeah, if you're only doing sales.
Yeah, if I'm only doing sales.
Not fulfillment and not fulfillment.
I just don't know how. I mean I think that you could put together a package that would be a no brainer for these people to be like yeah, I mean sure, send me the business and you do the first couple complimentary to make sure that they're not selling junk leads and whatever you just. And then you get them hooked up. Because your goal right now is to buy a Ferrari in 120 days. Right? That's still the goal. Yeah, it's not, it's not to make the next Mr. Window conglomerate. You know, over the course of.
I could care less about that. Right.
If we're trying to just fulfill the goal. If we're trying to just do the goal. If the goal is, is I need to make 100k or whatever the amount, I don't know what it maths out.
500, 000. Yep. 500.
Is it 500? Okay.
Six months.
I mean it, you could make money tomorrow doing that, right? Instead of, instead of trying to formulate partnerships, instead of trying to get something from the ground up, instead of, I mean you could make. You could make money tomorrow knocking doors, selling and, and then, you know, feeding. Feeding all of the local agencies. Instead of competing with them, you could partner with them.
Yeah, I don't know.
Again, I might be way off.
No, I think it is, it is something that Gabe. So I will say it is something to think about because remember, it's yes. Did he give you a time frame on learning curve.
The Nick?
Yeah.
With or without him?
No, with him. Did he give you a time frame?
I think with him, I mean, no, he didn't give me a time frame, but I can kind of assume like with him, like, I mean not let me not walk at all. I don't think.
Yeah, well, I would, I will say yours. Like either one or two things. Either like what Kenny said could be on point where it's like literally if you focused on your wheelhouse sales, you know, you want to talk about getting that 50 partnership here, 50 partnership there, 50. You know, you collect a bunch of them and then all you're doing is building a team and then they're running and then all you're doing is actively recruiting and building and recruiting and building. Remember, you're not the who. Who's fulfilling all of that. Of those with. On both the fulfillment side and the sales side, you could literally recruit a hundred guys. All right, these 30 are going to sell for this company. These 30 are going to sell for this Company. These 30 are going to sell for this company and you're not doing it. And yes, it's 50%. You have to produce 50% more. You know, instead of 500,000, you have to produce a million dollars in revenue in six months. But then you already produce a million dollars with solar and like what, how long? A four month time or so.
Two. Two months? Yeah.
Oh, well, two months. My bad. It's too, too much. You know those. You produce a million in revenue in two months because all you were doing was the sales side. So that's one thing.
I mean, that's a great thing to think about. I was gonna think, like, okay, like.
Here'S the second thing. Here's the second thing that I was gonna say. So what Kenny says legit. And second thing is this. Your constraint is actually might not even be your capacity. It might be Nick's capacity because he might take a while to teach you before he feels comfortable about scaling it. And therefore your time frame could be more pressed because of his capacity. That's where constraints we also have to pay attention to. Is it my capacity? Is it everyone's capacity? Is it their capacity? All of that. So that is something to also pay attention to. Like, if he says, okay, we'll ramp up in six weeks, do you have six weeks to give up? Because the end of six weeks is October. Then you've got three months.
Yeah. I mean, yeah, if it's.
Then you've got three months and then you've got to produce.
500 is not like, about.
Yeah, yeah, 565,000 because you're at 90%. Okay, so 565,000 divided by three. That means you literally have to start off the gate doing 188,000 in a month. 188,000amonth. If his ramp up is six weeks.
The biggest thing I gotta ask myself is, like, how hard is the fulfillment of window cleaning? And I think I want to go in detail how many problems he has with, like. Like, I. I think that would be a great question asked Nick. Right. Like, is it like, would you take, like, half your profit? Like, I don't. Maybe it's a little bit different because our goals are different, but, you know, how tough is it to manage?
Ask him. Ask him. Well, I would say it's more like, okay, well, how long will it take for you to ramp me up for? I'm doing it in my sleep. He's gonna say, whatever time. Let's say four weeks, five weeks. Okay. How can we do that in half the time? What has to be true for us to do that in half the time?
Yeah, I mean, I don't see it. I. I see literally him working with me for, like, 10 days gonna get me pass me that learning curve. I've knocked on so many doors. The biggest thing I need to understand is, like, how to teach. If I'm doing it, the route of. If I'm doing it, the route of, like, okay, like, we're having cleaners in house. How can I teach someone how to clean a window? And the framework he uses to sell and handle objections. I mean, I think the objectives are very similar, though. Like, you know what I mean? Like, that's why I think 10 days max. But then how many problems am I going to have later down the road on the film? It. Is it worth cutting my commission in half?
What are you thinking, Kenny?
They're in the same flywheel. And so I, I, you know, you could probably run and both scenario here.
Wait, say that one more time. I didn't understand that.
They're in the same flywheel. You're. We're in the same world here, right? So you could sell and you can get your feet wet now. You could take action today. You could go out there tonight and start knocking doors if you really wanted to. Yeah, well, maybe not. It's for it. Sorry.
It's 4:22. Yeah, I'm gonna be knocking all day tomorrow, and I'm just gonna bring a little squeegee to mop out there. I'm just gonna sell some deals just to get the feet wet tomorrow. That's my plan. All day tomorrow.
I, I think this might be an an and both problem because you don't even know your constraint. You. We, I mean, we. We're guessing on what the constraint is. I mean, there's some obvious ones, right, but like, you could sell today and then get sped up tomorrow, so to speak. Right? So this guy could catch you up. You could try both. But I think that. I think I don't know what you're doing. This is a silly question. What's your. What's your. What are you doing during the day.
For? Well, you've probably seen the videos a little bit. But the bottom line, what I've been focusing on is like, securing that partnership. And on the phone with like, do you have a.
Do you have a day job is what I'm saying.
No, no, I'm totally focused on this. Yeah.
Oh, buddy.
I'm like, I'm like totally focused on this. I mean, I mean, school's coming up, so I'm gonna be a little bit in that. But other than that, like, I mean, completely focused on this.
Love it.
Love it. Then, I mean, you can get caught up later. You could start selling today. You're going to. Whatever you learn today is going to help you, you know, down the road anyways. So it doesn't make a difference if you get traction in this. It's what I'm saying. It's in the same flywheel. It's in the same.
Yeah. You're not giving up the same thing. So you're not giving up. Yeah, it's.
You're not giving up your attention because a lot of people get. Get stretched out in all sorts of weird ways.
This is not in a different direction.
Yeah, yeah, we're still marching. We're still marching north.
I agree with that. But Nick is coming down. I'd be securing a partnership with him. Does that make sense?
What time does he arrive tomorrow?
He's leaving tomorrow morning and he's gonna arrive tomorrow night.
Okay, well, you could sell all day tomorrow, get enough demand. That's going to force him to teach you faster as well, if you wanted to. But I. Look, I've got people that their cost of their. Their time frame for fulfillment is two days before they expect us to show up. So you've got two days to catch me up.
Well, that was a good little rabbit hole. Thank you, guys. I'm thinking now it's good.
Because in reality, you've got to look at the time frame of the capacity as well. Like, how well can he teach you?
Yeah, I don't know. I. I don't know yet. Who knows? So, I mean, based on the conversations I've had with them, I'm very, very good at. I feel like understanding people in. In the right ways. I think he's gonna be really good. Really good. He's great character. Like, great character.
Yep, yep. Now this will be good. This will be good. But I agree with Kenny. You can start selling tomorrow. Like, just sell and ex. And it's gonna force him to fulfill it.
Yeah.
And you could already get cash in the door, and you could also see how high you.
I'm pretty confident. I'm pretty confident I can fulfill it myself the moment I sell it. Like, I'm literally gonna go Home Depot, not gonna get the expensive equipment. I'm gonna buy like a little hand mop in a squeegee, and I can literally do myself. It'll take me like two and a half hours, though. But I'll send you guys a video of me going. And then if they don't like it, I don't. That's why I don't think the fulfillment's that hard. Like, Like. But I could be wrong, Kenny. Like, you know what I mean? Like, I think it's so important focusing on things that you're really, really good at. But at the end of the day, like, how hard is it to delegate someone?
You're. No, you're. You're spot on. And, And. And for some context, too, I do non medical in home care. Right. So you want to talk about on a scale of health care, where you have brain surgeons over here. Here are my people. Right. Their caregivers on this end. Do you know how hard it is to manage people who are doing the very bottom end of the, you know, the labor market?
It's.
There isn't anything higher. There's nothing harder. There's nothing harder. You know, we have 145ish employees. There's nothing harder that we spend most of our time not getting more clients. We spend most of our time chasing our tails with these employees and working, working on fulfillment and pissed off customers and like doing that. So it's like running a team of, you know, how many people do you think that you could successfully manage by yourself?
Cleaners or sales guys?
Both.
I think I can do 15 sales guys, 15 cleaners. But I would need leadership on the cleaner side. 15 sales guys, I got that cleaner side. I'll be honest. I don't know. Like, that was a guess. Like I, I don't know. Right. But sales guys, 15 cleaners. I, I'm pretty like, just based on my perception of my paradigm. It's gotta be pretty easy. Like there's no way it's like that hard. It's like literally not my worst, like my worst case.
No. So what Kenny is saying is, is this too what Kenny's also saying is the hardest part for you won't even be the fulfillment. It'll be the managing of those people. So hard. But that's.
People are so hard.
Yeah. That's the game for an easy job on the side that it's the lowest end. So because of that, they're not going to come in fulfilled. They're not going to be happy. They're going to cause more problems. You're going to get lower quality people. You're gonna get all. So he's saying literally there's gonna come a point where your capacity is going to be the constraint on your ability to lead people.
Yeah.
As well.
That's, that's, I mean, that's really good. That's a really good point because you're gonna have 10.
I mean, even with 10. Even with 10. Like our Idaho offices don't have, they're, they're smaller offices. Right. We in Boise only running like 20 caregivers and then like 15 and Twin Falls. But like even over there, it's just like you're gonna get complaints that the, the cleaner, I mean, left a streak on the window. They kicked over my, my plant on the Outside, they tracked mud through the house. They, you know, it's just. Yes. You just have to do this, man. I get it. We're all on the same page that the task itself is very simple, but the people are very complex always. And that's the real game. That's the actual thing. It's not. It's not. It's not window cleaning.
I'm gonna really dig in on that. Yeah. I'm gonna dig.
Yeah.
And I would ask you this question too. If it was just salespeople, how many people could you lead? Because you said 15 and 15, you know, 15 sales and 15 cleaners. If you were only doing sales, how big of a team could you lead?
I don't know. I've never done over 15 sales guys. I don't know. Like, I. I led 15 sales guys at a TF15 with a partner, so I don't. I don't know. I know.
Do you know how to lead cleaners?
Yes. People are people. But I don't know.
You know how to. You. No, no, no. You've never led cleaners before, but yet you pick the number of 15 cleaners that you can lead. But yet I'm asking you, how many salespeople can you lead? You're like, I don't know. I've never done more than 15. But you've never led cleaners before, so how did you know to pick that number?
Well, that's why I kind of said it after. I'm like, well, I don't know, because I've never really, you know. But, yeah, that's a good point.
What's. What's the. I was thinking, like, what, what, like how many.
I mean, I know a lot more if I wasn't leading the cleaners. Right. A hundred percent.
So let me ask you, you're leading 15 salespeople and 15 cleaners. What's 15 plus 15?
30.
30. Can you lead 30 sales guys where all is one thing?
Well, I think a salesperson's a lot different than a cleaner. Like, a lot, lot different.
And you know that, right?
I know that for a fact. I think that at comparison of just putting the 15 over the. The 15 is like. I don't think that works. Sales guys are like, I mean, you gotta, like, you're gonna have. I mean, goal setting. I mean, onboarding. You gotta have a picture, their vision statement. I mean, like a whole. Whole, like, goal process. I think the cleaners is a. I could be wrong. I could be wrong, but I think it's a l. A lot less Complicated.
We're not talking about doing the task. You'd probably have to manage equally as much on both sides because on the cleaners, remember, less smallest end of the totem. So you probably have to motivate them more to do a good job. And you probably have to remind them, don't track mud in the house. You probably have to remind them consistently. But let's say if they show up. Yeah, if they show up. Yep. You might have some problems where they might not even show up. So let me ask you.
Yeah.
Let's say 15 cleaners. 15 salespeople. That's what you said.
Yeah, that's, that's, that was my picture perfect world on how to hit my goal.
Yeah. 15. 15. But yet if it was only sales, how many now you don't have 15 cleaners to look at.
Yep.
Honestly, what's the honest capacity for you? You think 40 would be too much? You think 25 salespeople be too much if I had.
No, not, Not a worry in the world about a cleaner.
Huh.
The reason why I think I'm having a trouble handling that. That answer. Right. Is because I don't know how much.
Time it'll take, you know, the implications of it. That's why I don't know what to admit it.
I. I don't know much time it'll take to manage a team of three cleaners. Does that make sense? Like, I don't know.
Do you have software in mind?
Say it again.
Do you have scheduling software in mind for these people?
For the, for the, for the, for the, for the appointments? That's what I was gonna ask Nick about. He uses one called like. It's like Josh and Oliver's. I already talked about his CRM that he uses, but I'm not familiar exactly what it is. But yes, we will have one. Yeah.
Okay.
I'm asking if you didn't even have to think about cleaners. It's only salespeople goal.
If, if I. So if I had.
My initial goal is your initial. 15 and 15.
15.
15. If I said I removed the 15, how many more sales guys could I manage?
If you're only focusing on sales, I'm only focusing on sales.
I feel like I could do, like, I feel like I could manage, like, BY My, like, 15 was a lot. Fifteen was a lot when I did it in, in solar. So I could do 30.
So you can do 30, even if you just, let's just say, do 25. Let's just say 25. So how much could you sell with 25 salespeople versus 15. Remember, 15 people, 15 sales guys. Your focus is split between cleaning and sales. 25 only your only eat, sleep and breathe sales. You're only waking up and eating, sleep and breathing. And you also got to remember solar is very different than window washing. You immediately get paid. Right. Compared to, I know, compared to solar, which is like 30 to 60 days after the installation kind of stuff.
So it's probably a lot easier to manage. Yep.
So easier to manage because they're actually getting a hit immediately as opposed to waiting for elongated, which sucks because the hardest part of the sales manager is like my people aren't getting paid.
Yeah.
And they're still. But they're still hitting the doors, they're still hitting the calls hard. They're still doing that. And they're not getting, they're not getting paid, but now they are getting paid. So imagine a team that's consistently getting paid, that's consistently moving.
Yeah, a lot easier to manage. Yeah.
Okay, so how many people can you manage? Dave, don't disappear on me.
I, I know. I, I had a call at 7:30. I'm just texting her right now. Hold on.
Girlfriend.
No, no, it's someone in our school community. It's someone in our school community.
Okay. Okay, cool. How many?
I don't, I don't know. Like it's, I managed to shift to a solar, it's a lot harder. Right. But I've never managed anything going for window cleaning. So now it's a lot easier. Right? How much easier? And then they. People are still people. They're like emotional beings. Things happen in their life.
Like even if they get same thing on the cleaning side, you're split focus. So either way you're still on dealing with people.
Okay, that's interesting. Yeah.
So on the sales side, how many his sales people was getting 10,000amonth?
30 sales guys.
30 sales guys. Okay, so let me ask you though, this guy Nick, you said in the summer some of his guys were making 10,000, right?
Yeah, I know, I know. You said that. Yeah.
10,000Amonth, right?
Yeah.
So if you were getting sales guys who are getting 10, making 10,000amonth, how many guys could you, could you manage with them being would they be happy.
About it or would really, really incredibly happy? Like, I think so would they be.
Easier to manage if they're making 10,000amonth?
A lot easier.
A lot easier. Okay, so how many can you manage? Salespeople were actually getting paid.
Well, the question is, would they be making 10,000 if now the 50% of profits are going to another. Another. Another business. Right. Other.
That's not what we're asking.
So you said, how many people could you manage? They're all making $10,000 a month.
Well, just the salespeople who are actually getting paid. Because you manage salespeople who weren't getting paid, which is why you had to keep their motivation up. You would do the sale, but you'd get paid 60 to 90 to 120 days later.
Yeah.
So, like, you're the motivational coach. You're like the perfect motivational guy because you kept people going even after they weren't getting paid.
I know. Y. Yeah.
So the reason why I say 30 sales guys is all of a sudden you're like, oh, but 50% of profit is going out. But I'm like, we talked about what did you need to get to that level? You needed to double your sales, double the production.
Double the production.
But now you have double the amount of people.
What if I could have double the amount of people? And the window cleaners. What if window cleaning isn't even that hard? For example, when I talk to Nick, I've talked to him for hours and hours and hours over the phone. I've talked to them hours and hours.
You see how he tries to logic loop himself out of it so he doesn't have to do it?
This is like my brain going, I never heard a headache of Nick talking about how the window cleaners are a pain in the butt.
You want to know why? Because he only did it for the summer, and it's a short amount of time versus that being their actual job. There's a very big difference. If it's only a short period of time. Three months, they know they could do it for three months. You can bear anything if you could bear for. For three months. Any single person here can bear a sucky job for three months. Right. If I just got a sucky it suck it up for three months, I'll do it. But versus this is full time and it's not seasonal. And this is exactly what they're doing. That's very different. Because now there is no timeline end for you. You'll have tons of turnover, tons of training, tons of complaints.
Gabe, do you know what the real numbers are with.
With.
With the service?
The real numbers for how much we're gonna get paid for cleaning house?
Yeah, like if I. Yeah, just like a typical. Just a house. If I were to have you have someone come over and do the service.
At a. I averaged 2,000 square foot house. I. I average the. Just the average sale to be $275 dollars. But Nick says it in detail. He goes like $10 per full window. So. And that averages 275, I guess. Okay.
Yeah.
Okay, 275. And what's their. What's their dean. What their success rate is when they're going. And are they all just knocking or is there some.
Yeah, yeah. So he says it depends on the rep, obviously. Right. But he says a new guy that comes in, someone brand new, never ever knocked doors. One out of every 10 person he talked, they talk to a new guy, they'll get a sale for him. He says his stats are about double that. Like, I think he's 17. He said 18.
Okay.
Double double with a new.
I don't have any context on that. How long would it take me to knock 10 doors?
Yep. Knocking 10 doors is different than talking to 10 people. Right. So knocking 10 doors, you can do like 10 contacts, 10 conversations with people that like, you know, make decisions, not just like the little. Little kids at the front door. So, okay, I would say I knocked if I knocked from literally, I would say like 11am to like 8:30pm I would knock a hundred doors. I would knock on 100 doors. And I just knew that because I'd always try to get to 100 doors in my head when I would knock. I don't know how many people. I would say equivalent that. Equivalent that to probably around 40 people talk to. I would say roughly. So less.
Little less than half.
Yeah.
A little less than half of the doors. Yeah.
Yeah.
Okay.
I would say. But. But I take that back as people talk to in my head because I tracked it on this app I had. But people talk to were like if they were a renter. Like, if they like so many little things for solar had it be right. So people talk to Wasn't just like if renter. If I talk to a renter. Nope, that doesn't. That doesn't count as a person.
4.
Probably a lot more. Probably 60 out of 100, maybe. I would say. I don't know.
Oh, right. Because now you're. Now your criteria expands because it's just windows. Yeah.
Yeah.
So 60 out of 100. And he's saying that he was able to close one out of every 10.
For a new guy.
He just.
He does.
Who's Nick again?
The guy that. That would be coming down here that has.
Has his business. The ten partner. The ten partner.
Got it. And we'll say just out of. Just to be conservative, that it's actually probably one out of every 12 because people like to inflate their stats. So it's one hour 12 or one at every 15 probably. So you maybe you're closing three or four a day if you're working.
Yeah, I would say that that was, that was exactly in my head. If, like good sales guys, I would say like someone's producing, we'll do three day. Yep, that was my exact number.
Okay. What would you want to pay that guy for a day's worth of work.
Of not the sales guy?
Yep.
I had an idea what I would pay them, but Nick's very profitable and I think I'd go off what he pays them just because he's been in the business for two years.
What is it?
So what him or what? I. I would, I would. So what I was thinking originally, which was like my rough ball, like straight out of the gate, like is after the window guys are paid, right? Which each cleaner is about 170 paid a day. And they can do like six houses roughly. Roughly after they are paid. A good, better, easier way to explain it is each clear is you pay them about 50 a house. Roughly 50 a house. So after the profit, so after the cleaners are paid, giving 60 to the sales guy. 40 override for, for me, after the window cleaners are paid, that was my initial rough ball. So all those numbers divide. 15 sales guys doing three deals, that's 45 deals a day. 45 deals times the average of 275 is about 12,000. $12,000 minus 2,250, which is all I did was times 50, which is the price you pay. Each clear per house Times that by 45, which is the amount of jobs you'd sell. Today for the 15 person team is 2,250. So I had a clean profit of 10,000 for the day. That was my numbers. I remember getting 10,000 for the day and then 60% paid to the sales guy. That's 6,000, 4,000 for me. So 4,000 times 26 working days in a month was about 100,000amonth. That was the numbers of how I would do it. And like that would. That could get me to my goal. Let's go.
What was he doing? What's Nick doing?
Nick.
So instead of paying each cleaner 50 a house, he pays them 175 for the whole day because they work all day, which he says more profitable. He does something really interesting. He makes the sales guy pay for the cleaner. So he pays his cleaner 17, 18, 19 bucks an hour. I forgot what it was. So it's like he frames. It is like, okay, you no longer want to clean your jobs anymore because he makes his initial sales guys clean their own jobs.
Perfect.
Well, we have a whole list of cleaners that can actually clean them for you. So you can do more profit. Right. But you got to pay for them. So it kind of puts a pressure on the sales guy's head. Like, okay, I better, I pay for my sales guy today anyways. I gotta, I gotta clean my jobs. So then he doesn't have to worry about the sales guy or the cleaners. Not like losing profit on the cleaners, which was really interesting for me. I never thought like that. Does that make sense or is that confusing? You guys understand that pretty well.
It's, it's both makes sense and it's confusing. I don't know what sales guy would take that.
It's interesting model.
I very interested. I would never, I never, never would have thought like that. But so because of that, after the cleaners are paid, he pays a sales guy on a sliding scale of 40 to 50%. 40 to 50%. So then he takes the other 50% of it and he said he had a sales. Gotta make ten grand a month doing that, which is, which is cool. So that's how he does it. Sorry to take everyone's time. I know you guys are helping me so much.
No, no, no, you're good, you're good. We'll, we'll end, we'll end here. But Gabe, remember when we and I talked about this, you know, this negotiation with, with, with the nick we said about the numbers and so pay attention to numbers. Okay. And at the end day, you know, deep down, like if you actually had well motivated salespeople who are getting paid. You keep saying, I've never managed more than 15. Yeah. In horrible industries. Okay. It's a very big difference. It's like, like I'm selling solar, but they don't get paid 90 days later. And then if the installation falls through or the people cancel it out, then you'd end up not getting paid and that money doesn't end up going to you guys anyway. And then you've got to continue to be motivator to get them going versus if these people are actually getting paid consistently. You could probably have a group of 40 guys who are revved up, excited to sell, knowing that they could bring home 10,000 and it'll be like nothing for you. And that's if you focus solely on the sales side. Yeah, you can go 15 and 15, you know, 15 sales and 15 cleaners. But there's going to come a point where you're going to want to get back in your unique ability, which is in the area of sales.
Yeah, it's interesting. Something that I noticed too. Like, it'd be a, A little bit. Just something just like off the top of my head, something Nick does is the cars full of sales guys when they go out, he has the, the cleaner with the. In the car with him, and they literally are the cleaners literally sitting on the curb next to the whole area of where they're cleaning, waiting to get his first job. Does that make sense? Like, he's like, ready to work, but until then he's not, not doing anything. So the cleaners are cleaning them on the spot ever. Like, like, like same day cleaning. I know there would be cancellations if I, if I brokered it out, because it would have to be a day, two days, three days in advance. Right. So that's just something I, you know, thought of too, but yeah. Thank you guys so, so much. Give me thinking.
Yep. Yep. Okay. Any parting things on your mind, Kenny? Because I could tell you're like, thinking.
No, I love this. I think, I think you just mapped out. It's just math, dude.
Yeah.
Literally, in understanding what you're. What the. The CAC is. I mean, there. You might even be able to build a. With your, Your buddy who does the, the video stuff, you might even be able to build like some Instagram ad funnel, and you don't even have to pay for salesmen. And then they just fill out a form and essentially you just.
That's what me and Nick were talking about. He has. He's an exact name of like, not even an Instagram ad. Like, his buddy's doing it, and I think he's crushing it doing that way.
Right. And if you could, I mean, if you're paying a sales guy 100 bucks a house, if you could get someone to sign up on Instagram, you know, with 80 bucks per, you know, click through rate or whatever, you know, whatever your metric you would use there. And then you don't. And then you also have less people to manage because it's just ads. There might be something to that as well. So.
Great point. Yeah.
Also, last thing I'll give to you as well, just a thought in my head. Okay. You mentioned partnership. Did they say 50% of the profit you'd split if you do, like, a sales agency?
I never even talked to one. I mean, I talked to you actually, but I never, like, they were just weren't interested, the ones I talked to locally off the bat. But my friend Jesse talked to some, and I think that 50 would be like maximum based on like what he was talking with. But that's. That's. He said, she said. I don't know. I should just call, find out.
Okay, well, I was just thinking, just in general, if you. I. I ran some numbers where you could easily just take home, you know, 115 grand a month just by doubling your salesforce. And that's all you focused on, even on the 50% split and you get to your goal no matter what. But, you know, we can talk about that another time. So.
Yeah, even the original guy, Lucas, I don't know if you remember him, Lucas, in the videos, the guy I was gonna originally do a partnership. He was as good. He would so do that. Like, if I was just to sales agency for him, right. And I could definitely negotiate a thing where he would give me more than 50 of the profit for each just so he could build up his vans and his. And his cleaning supplies and get the motivation of his team going too. Because that's the thing Lucas wanted, right? He wanted the leadership help.
Yep. Well, I'm just saying, if. Even if you just negotiate 40 top line, you don't have to go profit. 40 top line. So 40 top line, okay. 275 times 0.4 is 110. You times that by 90.
Wait, go back, go back. So you said 275. And you said.
All right, so we're gonna. Let me show you my calculator. Okay. 275 times 0.4. 40 top line, okay? If you go 40 top line, okay, you. That's. That's one deal. You take 110 as a sales agency times 90. Because now we're doubling. We're not just doing 45 deals a day. We're doing 90 because you got 30 guys instead of 15 guys. Okay, that's in a day. Then you times it by what you said, 24 working days.
Yeah, yeah, I would say 26.
26. Okay. Times 26. All right. And then you take home 40, right? You talked about 40 for your guys, but you take home 40, they take home 60. That's your take home in a month. Is that the same that you'd be getting or just the other way?
Yeah, Yeah, it would be basically the same.
Yeah, the same. And you. And you'd have 30 guys who are eating good. Because look, let's even just do divide by point four.
Christian, the 30 guys. Yeah, there's 30 guys, but I was getting the same number with only 15 sales guys. So now the, the profit of the. The sales guys is going down by half. Correct. Because the sales guys aren't going to make more money.
I don't. So what we're talking about is simplicity. Yeah, that's what we're talking about. Simplicity. Where you go on one thing. Pure focus. Because when once you add cleaners, your attention is now being split to. Then what could possibly be a constraint for you is your attention doing.
Doing a sales agency with a window cleaning company, would that help the sales guy do more than three deals a day?
Probably.
This. Really? You think so?
Like just if, if that you're saying sales agency for just window cleaning.
Like, like if the sales. Any team of 30 guys. Right. I was one of those 30 guys and gonna do more than three deals in it. Three deals a day. Now just because we're outsourcing it to a different people. Not in house. No, they would still do the three deals a day. Does that make sense? Like they wouldn't.
Oh, you're saying the closing. You're saying the closing of that.
Like.
Yeah, closing three days a day. Oh, yeah. I just use the same numbers. I just use the same numbers.
So my point is though, is that the sales guys will just make a lot less now because now there's not as much profit in the deal. Yes, I would make more because I could scale the 30, but other sales guys only could be making $5,000 a month now. Does that make sense?
Well, let's do it. Divided by 30. That number. Right. What's the average? So 275 times 0.4. Oh, 275 times 0.4 times 90 deals a day times 26 days. Okay, so we're at the big number. Then you go times 0.6. Because this is what you're going to give to your people divided by 30 guys. Okay. These guys will probably make like 5,000.
So. So I mean, my point is though, is like, like instead of my original model, I would have. They'd be making 10,000. Correct.
I don't know. Let's run your original model. Let's go 270 again. 270 times 45. Right.
Times 400 deals a day.
Minus 2, 2, 5 0. That's the cleaners. Right. Hold up to 75 times 45 times 26. Right?
Yeah. Did you. Did you. Minus the 2, 2, 5, 0. I didn't see you.
Minus the two 2, 5 0.
Minus. Let's divide by 26, so minus 2, 2, 5, 0.
Yep. There it is. So that's 4,006. And then. And then. And then times that by 6.
15. Yep. So they're about 10,000. Yep.
Now, I think I would personally much rather have 15 sales guys that are. Because I think it'd be a lot more motivated. I mean, you know, that number 10,000 would excite sales guys. 5,000 knocking doors is like. It'd be tough.
Yep, yep, yep, yep. Okay. Things to think about. I want you guys.
Thank you. Thank you so, so much for talking about.
So I want you to think about your constraint, though. Your biggest constraint would be actually Nick right now, because if he can only train you and it takes four weeks, six weeks, guess what? It's not gonna. Gabe's got you.
I know. It's the name. Doesn't sound pretty. When you look at the numbers, though. It's like.
Yeah, you fall in love with business for the numbers, not for the. Not for the things. Yeah, But. But. But, Gabe, the biggest thing right now in terms of is capacity. And it's. That's why I would say what Kenny was talking about, sell some stuff ahead of time, which would force Nick to fulfill. It would force him to. To literally shorten the window for learning. Okay. On the product side. All right. It was short in the window. Okay. Yeah.
Because he. He would. He would be my. Like, he's my greatest, like, good asset, but also, like. What'd you say, Kenny?
You better be a pull sale. Full sales agency next week. He said a thousand bucks.
I'm gonna be changing it every week. Next you're gonna be pools. Then I'm gonna be, like, gutters, and I'm gonna be.
So soon you're gonna have the whole thing, you know, Pearson Industries, you know, and under it, you have.
Oh, that's actually a great idea.
What if we have.
Once we clean the windows, it's like, yeah, you have.
That's a pull under. Hey, hey, I got 10, right? I get 10, right?
The ideas. Ideas are 10 a pop.
10. I'm just saying it's gonna work. All right, all right. Y' all so incredible. I love it. But this is the point of the. This is the point of the group. You see how, like, all of a sudden, we jumped in on Gabe's thing, and we were able to. But guess what? Don't be surprised. Everyone who's watching the recording as well, just be surprised if that happens to you in our coming sessions and our coming times, but also especially during our September today Okay, so last thing, guys. So this week, really define where your constraint is and start to figure out the problems in your constraint to where you literally go find the who's for it. Okay, what are the who's that can help me with this constraint? Gabe's biggest thing is I can create demand in a second, but I don't have the capacity to even clean anything. Who can help me? Who is the who that can help me with my capacity to handle it? Because Nick doesn't have problem with with capacity. He has problem with creating more demand. And that's where you're the who for the that you know. And so it's like, hey, discover what those constraints are and then focus. Who are the who's that can get me on there? Like for me, I already know my constraint right now is current capital, it's cash. Because I already know how I can get demand and what I need to do even for capacity. Like, I already know we already have the curriculum. We already know how to grow companies. We already know, like we already got all the capacity that we. And guess what the issue is the cash constraint. Because I need to use that to create demand as well. Because sending cold emails, 5,000 a week, you know, still cost something. But guess what? For me to get to the level that I need to, I need to probably send five times more a week. I need to send at least 20 to 25,000 a week and that requires more capital. Does that make sense? Like that's my constraint.
So what's our constraints? What's our constraints? What's our constraints?
Absolutely. Because you're not going to grow to your potential. Like your biggest constraint game beyond everything is your attention because you get excited about a lot. But if you zero in and focus, guess what? Boom. You'll start to knock out those other constraints that you have. Okay, but don't be surprised. We start to do this for us, for each of us, like Kenny, Terry, you know, Josh, you know, we're gonna Craig on, you know, Mia, Jason, Chantel, and so don't be surprised as we go along if there's anyone else I missed.
Don't forget.
But anyways, guys, have an incredible week. Any other questions before we go?
Nope.
Okay, awesome. I want to connect with them first, Josh. I don't mind people coming on, but I want to connect with them first because I'm really huge about guarding the group because the all like, it's got to be potent. Like I said, we're not the achieve, we're not the achievable tribe. Okay. Like, no, we're not with the Impossible Tribe. You guys could attend the tribe any other time, you know, but if you do have some friends, I don't mind meeting them. Like, for example, Kenny, that one other friend that's left over besides Terry. You can also, you know, I'm just kidding. Anyways. All right, y'. All. Love you guys. Josh, if you want to connect them with me, and then we'll set some time to connect with them. Okay.
Can I pray us out?
Oh, pray us out. Go. Go for it.
Yeah. Dear God, thank you so, so much for this, for this amazing day. We love you so, so much. We're so thankful for all the who's you put in our life, all the experiences that you've given us that made us us. God, we love you. Love you, love you. God. In the aspect of constraints, we just ask that you lift our eyelids. Allow us to see these constraints crystal clearly in absolute faith. Allow us to remove these constraints to allow us to hit our full potential. God, we love you so much. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
Amen. Amen, y'. All. All right, guys, see you guys next week.
Thank you, guys. Thank you, Kenny. Thank you, Christian.
