All right, baby. Can you make Phobia co host as well? And then I'm gonna let everybody in when she's co host. Boom. Let's do it.
Astronauts be true.
Just be politicians Be preachers preacher Be believers be leaders be.
Astronauts be champions Standing in the hall of fame and the world's going to know your name. Wanna know your name.
What's up, everybody? For some of us, good evening. For some of us, good afternoon. For some of us, good morning. It's incredible. Multiple timeline. Owen is flying. James, I hope you don't get a little jealous. Owen and I are going to spend some time, you know, in Vegas.
So I am jealous about that. Very jealous.
That means you might have to come over for a trip at some point. Or we could go over there. I know we've got some things planned, but, you know, where in Australia are you. Are you in Melbourne as well?
I'm in Gold Coast.
Oh, Gold Coast. Ah. I've not been there. We need to go check it out.
I am San Diego in November. I don't know how far that's from you.
It's.
It's west coast, you know. Oh, by the way, guys, you get to see my son. You know, he's going to have some time. He's going to jump on and you're going to see his face a lot sooner. My future king. Awesome. Awesome. I think we have a few more people gonna jump on. I do want to begin before we jump into wins. Well, actually after we jump into wins, actually phobia. Can you remind me before we leave? I want to lift up a prayer for Meredith's son. Okay, So I want you to write that on Meredith's son. So Meredith is Kingdom entrepreneur. The Lord used me to help with some personal breakthrough in terms of like an addiction. God removed her from her life, you know, which is awesome. In one session. Alcohol addiction, which is amazing. She loved Jesus, but still struggle with that. Gotta move there from her life, seven figure business on her. But then literally as of like, and this was like eight months ago, so she has had one thing, alcohol since, which is awesome. But she texted. I texted her because I had lost contact after like three or four months. And the Lord just put her on my heart like three days ago. And so her youngest son, she's like, it's crazy timing. You texted me. Her youngest son's in the hospital. His white blood cell counts are super high. His livers has been enlarged. And so they're really trying to figure out what's going on. Going on to a Point that he youngest son is starting to have possible liver failure, so he might need a transplant. And so before we end the call, we're going to be praying for her youngest son for healing. Okay. So do that at the end.
Got it.
So, yep. Thank you. Awesome. Awesome. Well, today, guys, I'm so excited for today. Let me fade out. Let me fade out like we do. Okay. I am excited for today. We're gonna have Alex later on today. He's gonna jump on in a little bit. But I am excited for today just because this is a highlight of my week. I love hearing man. I love hearing the wins because it challenges me, it inspires me, and it also confirms the direction as well. Because if the impossible is happening in your life, God can definitely do the same God that works through you, and the same God that's working through your ministry, your business, your impact, wherever he's doing is the same God that is flowing over here. So if he can do it for you, he can do it for me. And if he can do it for me, he can do it for you. And so I love that we get to meet around the impossible. Like, that's a big thing. It's like, we're not. Like, it's not for the improbable. It's not for the achievable. It's for the impossible. I was talking to someone this past Sunday about it, which is actually yesterday. I feel like things are a blur because a lot of things are happening in a short amount of time. How many guys are feeling like things are happening like a blur? Like, a lot happens in a short amount of time. Okay. All right. I know Terry probably has some stuff that's happening. You know, he's been like, everything's a blur. Right, Terry? You know, you and I were chatting. It was awesome. But, yeah, I just. I was talking to them about the impossible. And mind you, this is a guy who's probably in his mid-50s, and he's accomplished a lot, but now he's in retirement, and now God is asking them to, like, dream again. And he's like, I don't know where to start. And I was like, start with the impossible, and started talking about the group. And so it was amazing for him to, like, click. Oh, my gosh. Like, God doesn't call us as we are. He calls us as he sees us, which is oftentimes much greater and much farther than we currently see ourselves. And there's a verse in the book of Romans where it says, God calls things that are not as though it was. God calls things that are not as though it was. So this vision that God gives you, it hasn't happened yet, but God is showing you as if it's now as if it is. And so he calls things that are not as though they are. And so I'm excited because we get to be surrounded and come together for this very purpose. So before we even have Alex come in, he'll share at a specific time. You guys saw the timestamp. I'd love to hear. Wins. Wins. Oh, and then Michael's jumping in. He is a married man, officially.
Let me jump in because I don't know how long I've got with these kids going crazy right now.
You're fine, you're fine.
And Zion's, like, wanting to let them.
Hear it, reach with his hands, and they're fine.
He just loves you all. Michael, Mr. Married Man.
Hey.
Thank you.
All right, so it has been a big, big, big week, personally, and also a few other things that have been happening. And you're gonna have to forgive me because I can't actually recall what I shared last week and what Christian shared last week. So I'm just gonna share the wins and you guys can just, you know, keep me on track.
So.
The. The biggest one as far as for me personally is that I have completed planning and I have officially started writing my book. I finished the introduction, first run of the introduction today. Guys, I just need you to know that I am over a month ahead of my schedule for writing my book. So I. I just. God's doing something incredible. So I'm just really, really, really just believing that he's already breathing on it and it's going to impact so many women. And part of that, another win is that I just woke up this morning and I was like, I have to begin to reach out to people to come on to my pre launch team. Now, of course, like, I want to invite all of you, but if you're a woman, then you can come onto my pre launch team. I mean, I'm open to having guys read my book as well. Don't get me wrong. I'm not being, like, sexist or, you know, divisive here, but like, if you.
Want to read it, might read it on the perspective of maybe our wives are significant.
Exactly. Exactly. Exactly. So Anyway, I sent 16 messages and I already have. I'm just starting, guys. Like, I'm just starting with this pre launch team, and already I have over half that have responded saying, yes, what an honor. I can't wait to read It. So I'm super excited about that. And then the other one, which is absolutely huge. I know Zion is Born to Rule. So I have officially stepped into my role because my book plays into Born to Rule since I did the audio.
That's a great question. I don't know if that'll work though, for a woman's book.
Never live that down. I have officially stepped into my role as the CEO of Born to Rule. And it feels very, very natural for me. But Christian and I hadn't a chance to talk about that. On the way back. We had a meeting, a meeting on the plane on the way back from Cancun and we set our impossible faith goal and we came to the conclusion that our impossible faith goal for Born to Rule is both. And it's. It's not. You know, how sometimes you'll have a goal that is impact driven and then other times you'll have a goal that is, you know, financially driven. We're Born to Rule. The way that it has been set up in the past no longer exists. It's new. Because of that, we've realized that it's both. It's both impact and financial. And so our impossible faith goal is impact wise. We want to reach a 10 year goal is 100 million lives directly impacted. And we actually want to have a countdown that is updated weekly. The lives that have been impacted through Born to Rule as an organization. The financial side of that is 350 million ar, which I learned a new term, guys, annual run rate or annual recurring revenue. Anyway, our impossible goal for one year is by the end of December 2025, we will have directly impacted 100,000 people.
Through born to Rule Global.
So anyway.
Oh, babe, can you also share what Born True really is? Because some people only see it as a book. But like, what is that? You know, ultimately you got to share the mission as well.
Yes. Okay, so you'll know Tony Robbins. Well, Born to Rule is Tony Robbins for the Kingdom. Really?
It's all Kingdom.
It's all Kingdom. It's all Kingdom. You know, I have sat through so many trainings of his. Of his. You know, I'm sure many of you have too as well. But like every single time I'm like, ah, he's just missing the kingdom component. Like ah, every single time. And, and it's just like every time and it's just like real. Exactly. The real power behind it. Yeah. So essentially it is Tony Robbins, except it's Christian Santiago. Well, it's Santiago.
Mainly me.
No, it's Born to Rule But I did want to share our, our mission with you guys. So our mission really is to awaken believers to their rulership, identity in Christ so that every single one of them can live out their legendary kingdom life. So that's what we're about. Yes, that's it.
Legendary kingdom life. We got a coin, we got to trademark that phrase. Guys, there's a whole bunch of things I need to Legendary kingdom of life.
But yeah, so anyway, that's, that's, that's my massive, massive week. It's been huge. And then settling in, we already got.
The name of our, our one week challenge that we're going to do in the new year.
Yes. So one of the things that we actually have been able to do is we've been able to plan out the beginning of 2025. And so we are going to be having, in the second week of January, we're going to be doing the legendary kingdom year challenge, which is a five day, three day challenge, five day free challenge words. Then in February, we're going to be doing a one day summit and that is going to be the book launch. Not just one book launch, but two books. So it'll be my book and then it'll also be Christian's book as well. So that'll be the end of February. And then in March, we're going to be doing our first three day event called unlock your ruler within. And then planning out by January 2026, we're wanting to launch unlock her ruler within which will be retreats, mentoring sessions and all sorts of other good stuff.
So you also got to mention what we're launching together at the end of next year as well.
Born to rule together. Married edition.
So we're actually writing our first marriage book together. So either it's gonna make our marriage better or it's gonna break it. You know, it's like it's either gonna be one or the other. Joke it on me. It's silly, but yeah, yeah, it's big. Yeah.
Huge, baby.
So we made some big decisions and we're moving already. So we've already started to build stuff anyways. Who's next? Who else wants to share some wins? Great job, my love. Great job. I love it.
I'll go. I'll do my best to make it quick.
Come on, King. Come on. You spoke to things.
Christian, this book, I didn't think I would enjoy it as much as I did. So a little backstory behind it.
And.
It'S no knock to you. It was just like man who, not how it's great. I said, oh, Kingdom man is even better. But prior to it, because I have met. I set a goal to read it, to start it Monday, I think it was last week, and then to finish it for about three or four days. Christian, I kid you not. Like, there were so many thoughts that just came to me. Like, just trying to discourage me from reading the book, like, literally. And I. And I was asking myself. I'm like, I was sitting on my couch and I was like, where are these thoughts coming from? Like, I was so excited to read it. Like, I just finished Kingdom Man. I got my notes, and I don't know. I really can't tell you what was happening, but I want to say, like, Thursday I woke up. It was Wednesday night. I said, man, I have to read this book because I got to get on this group Monday, and I have to tell them that I have a win. So Wednesday night, I went to bed at midnight. I knew. I said, I'm going to wake up around 6:30. I woke up at 6:30am and I read half the book first thing in the morning. And Christian, when I tell you this is probably. I love this book ten times more than who, not how, and Kingdom Man, I'm not even. I'm saying that because I. I've been talking to my wife about it every day. Like, I sent it to my friends. I sent it to Craig. Like, y' all have to get this book. The biggest eye opener for me was the. The two reintroductions that you get and the story about why Jesus just walked past them, that he intended to walk past them when they wanted to vote. And it's truly been a literal game changer for me. It has given me confidence like never before. And that's when I shared what happened in the group about just making a prayer and saying, like, no, this is what I want. This is what's going to happen. And literally, the guy ended up texting me, offering me more money than I actually wanted, that he said that he wasn't willing to pay at first. And after that, like, the confidence just skyrocketed. I just have a desire to continue to want to read, to just feed off of that. And so, yeah, that's my biggest win. I'm 35. I have 35 pages left. So I plan on finishing that, if not tonight, then tomorrow. But, yeah, that was the biggest win. Christian, I love this book. I will tell the freaking world about this book. I'm so serious. This is. This is amazing. This is truly amazing.
Amen. That's my life message. I just love guys. This is why I wrote the book. I want to see people operating the rulership, identity in Christ. Because when that happens, man, everything changes because you got introduced to the real you. Like Jesus making two introductions, one man to God and then the second one man to himself. Jesus wanted to reintroduce man to himself. And so, Josh, like, when I tell you, you said, it's given you confidence. It's allowed you to discover the real you. Because when you discover the real you, confidence is just regular. You don't even have to find it. It's there. Yeah, it's a natural byproduct. And so that's when you start speaking to things instead of speaking about things.
Yes, that's my goal from here on out. Like, when I said, like felt like Bruce Almighty, that's literally how I felt.
Like, oh, I could.
Whatever I want to happen, I can.
Just make it happen.
Well, obviously, in accordance to God's will, it's like, I can really. I've never thought like this before. Like, man, I can genuinely bring God's will, bring heaven down to earth for not only me, but my friends, my family. And since then, I've literally just been texting people. Like, it feels different. Even when I, like, encourage people, it's like, I know what I'm saying is truth versus, just, let me say, an encourager. It's like, no, I know for a fact that what I'm saying will take you to the next level in life. And I'm like, I. I don't want to leave this spot at all. Like, I want more of this. So, yeah, if you got any more book recommendations or anything, like, yeah, I. I want it. Because this is an amazing feeling.
It's my life message. So I love it. I love seeing people. Yeah, I love it. Amen. Amen. Amen. Who else? Who else?
Oh, I've just fired up.
I just want to get going.
I've got a lot. I'll just summarize a few. Awesome. So I think the main thing that really hit me last week and I just kept asking myself, and our entire organization is just constraints, constraints, constraints. So where are the constraints? One of the clients we've had since we started our agency has also been one of our most painful clients. She sort of came into the business at a stage where we were growing, so we would accept boundaries that we no longer accept as our impossible goal boundary. So I actually let her go straight away. I called her literally the day after our call. Everyone else in our whole Company was avoiding it. I'd ask people to do it. No one was doing it. I did it. You know, what started out as, like, a projection from her saying horrible things that we don't care. It's a Pretty Woman moment. You don't believe in me, all this sort of stuff. And I just sort of sat there and accepted it. And I said, the truth is, it's just like our goals no longer align, I believe, and gave her, like, feedback and said, you'd be better off hiring in house versus trying to get our team to do it at this particular point in your organization. We're just not aligned. And then she ended up thanking me, which was a call that I avoided for such a long amount of time. And it was just like, I guess, led by the grace of God, I didn't retaliate. I just accepted, you know, her projection. And then I was like, that's okay. Then my team literally said yesterday, they're like, oh, my God, it's so amazing to see how much extra time we have. And they were just like, I can't believe what I can do with all this extra time. I'm not feeling anxious about receiving a message from this particular person. So that was one major win, which, you know, was something I avoided. Another win was.
You raised the floor.
Yes, I raised the floor.
Amen.
The next win, I was just getting, like, little nudges from God, like, we've onboarded eight new team members this week and three new businesses, so we're moving really quick. And then inside of some of the, I guess, team members were onboarding, I was getting little nudges from God to just be like, go and check your systems, Go and check your processes. Make sure your contracts are up to date with your new floor, with your new standard. And then basically my just coincidentally enough, my accountant, because we've got accounts in different countries, he was here from Singapore, and he said to me, he's like, james, because you're subcontracting, you need to look at the exact contract in which you're using. Potentially. There's been a few lawsuits that are talking about in relation to subcontracting employee contracts. And he's like, don't worry, James. I've got you covered. Just this is how much I'll introduce you to my lawyer. And straight away, the feeling of, like, can we handle this amount of growth? Because we went from 20 team members to over 30 team members in basically a week just for this particular part of the business. He just said, look, I'll get my lawyer to call you. So straight away, I've had that. Then I was also asking the question to God, you know, I'm going to be dealing with more money than I've ever dealt with in my life because for those that weren't here last week, we're going from an eight figure business to a nine figure business. He's basically turned around and said, well, I've got the connection for you to set up an account in different countries as well so we can make sure it's all tax optimized. And I'm like, how is this even happening? He's just said, don't worry, I've already got this structure for you. And he's. Because he does our accounts, he's like, I've seen this growth. And he's like, that's why I wanted to have this chat. Because he goes, basically, I saw how quickly you're moving. Terrific. So that was that one. It was just like, everything's just happening from divine intervention. And then a faith one was a goal of mine because I lost my mum when I was young and I went through some, you know, different personal development challenges and wanted to overcome that. I've always wanted to lead a youth movement for young men to really help them to find their true passion and purpose in life. So when I was in Adelaide with Steve, I got introduced to Marty, who was the pastor there. And then when I got back to Gold coast, he said, I want you to go and meet Cameron Bennett. So then Cameron Bennett is. He actually runs the largest, I'll say this again, the largest youth organization in all of Australia called Youth alive, with over 50,000 young youth. So yeah, basically Chantel would know.
She's like loving it. She knows Marty, she knows all that.
Yeah. So, Cameron, I went to a bit of a challenge for myself because I've never been to church on my own without like my partner or my friends there, like Owen or someone. But I went there purely Sunday night on my own. Met Cameron, we had coffee yesterday and then Cameron just said, look, you're probably used to, you know, people using you for your skill set, but I want nothing from you. I just want to help you to plant the seeds so that we can lay the foundations in order for you to grow. But then he, then he turned around and said to me, he's like, but I can see you're going to be a beacon of light to be able to help our business. And I said, for right now, my next stage is getting money to be completely a tool. So then that way I don't have to focus on money. I just want to really be able to focus on giving back and purpose. And he said, we'll work together over the next 12 months. And then wants to sort of like, I guess, mentor me. I think the word would be to basically work within youth alive in the future. So I'll be able to achieve that goal, to be able to, you know. Yeah.
Help.
Help inspire tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands of people's lives, which is my next level for faith. So I'm excited by it. So lots of wins.
Amen. Not just 10x the income, it's 10x the impact. And so.
Exactly.
Amen. Powerful. Powerful. Who else? Let's hear some wins. Excited.
You hear me? Okay.
So I think I mentioned was it last week I lose track about a partner on the manufacturing venture that I'm starting. Had a conversation with him the end of last week, and it wasn't a question of having to define a partnership. He was already working on design modifications, and we've already started the prototype on things. So we talked through. We spent an hour on the phone talking through prototype design changes and what the process looks like for that. And I started talking about partnership. And it was just. It was an afterthought.
He.
He was already on board. He's already asking for opinion from different people, so making quick progress on that. And he was hoping within a few weeks to have either something that he could send to me or a couple options. So all good on that front. And it was good timing because last week on my. What I call W2 job was a tough week of meetings. We're coming off of a not very good month and kind of got our butts handed to us a little bit by a. By a cfo. But the whole time I was kind of sitting there thinking, this is God just aligning opportunity. And ultimately, that's what's. I know that's what's happening in this.
It's.
It's bringing two different ventures of mine together, and those courses are going to intersect and yield tremendous things on. On both accounts. So God continues to do amazing things in really unexpected ways.
Amen.
That's what I got.
Amen. Amen. Amen. So good. So good. Who else? Michael, Come on. Come on, Michael.
Oh, yeah. Yep. Well, my number one win since I've seen you guys last as I got married literally on the 16th. That's my number one. When we got married, we was beautiful. And then we had a nice, like five days or so. We got to go down to Florida Keys do kind of like a mini honeymoon. We'll do, like, the bigger one in October. We'll go to Italy. But that was awesome. That was, like, everything. I. Christian, I can't wait to, like, recap the whole thing with you.
But, like, amen. I can't wait. Yes, God.
Anyway, it was awesome.
And then.
And then.
Yeah.
Meanwhile, it was crazy how God lined it up because I was able to not be stressed at all during, like. Like when we were there, totally present. And then in our, like, mini honeymoon after totally present, and then I come back and Chase my lender for the home falls through.
But I was totally chill through.
Through the whole, like, I got to rest, recover. I came back, and then my lender, literally the day before the commitment. The lender's commitment was due to the contract, our contingency.
He's.
He's like, yeah, yeah. Actually, it's not going through.
Sorry about that.
I'm like, that's a problem. So we got two other lenders on it, like, asap. And then we worked with the seller to extend the commitment deadline because we still had some leeway before closing, because closing September 10th, we got the commitment extended a week, and we got those two other lenders on it. And just today, we got the commitment from the new lender. So we're locked in. Yeah. Yeah. And it's better. It's better terms. It's a better rate. I was still floating the rate anyway from the old one, but I'm just more excited to work with this lender than working with Chase Chase Lending. I would not recommend either. Great for business banking and banking in general, but the home loans recommend them. So anyway, that's. I mean, that's been the two biggest things this week, and then literally today getting the payment letter. And so now we're moving to close on September 10th.
The impossible. The impossible, Michael. The impossible. Like, this house. Yep.
Crazy.
It's crazy.
Yeah.
I love it. I love it. Powerful, powerful stuff, man. Okay, so, guys, I want to share something really quick. Alex just jumped in before we give him. Before we have, you know, Josh, kind of introduce him. I just want to share something real quick. I got some awesome wins. You know, one, I'm already literally almost done with chapter one of my next book, which is actually the first time of me writing another book since Born to Rule. Born to where I wrote in 2020, and that was my life message. Like, how deep it was. Like, it was my life message. But I always felt like after time went on, why isn't everyone stepping into Their rulership, identity in Christ. And I realized it was a prelude to authority. And it's actually permission, emotional permission, because your spiritual authority is fully given to you when you come into Jesus, when you are part of the body of Christ, you know. But why do some people walk in full authority and others don't? It's because some people actually give themselves emotional permission. That's the difference. Because authority and permission, you know, without authority, your permission has no power. But without permission, your authority has no activator. Okay? So without authority, your permission has no power, but without permission, your authority has no activator. And so I'm really excited about jumping into it even more, man. When I talk about breaking it down and how permission works in a kingdom. There's so many different aspects on how permission works in the kingdom. Because, guys, in case you didn't know, the Bible is all about a king wanting to bring a kingdom to his earth to earth through his children. And so Jesus being a king, he operates in a kingdom. And so if we understand how permission works in a kingdom, we can operate in it now, though, where God starts to move like crazy in your life. And so I see it as a prelude to Born to Rule. So Born to Rule is my life message. But that wasn't what I want to share with you. The kind of. I want to give you guys a small nugget in general, but I do want to give you that win, okay? That win. I'm already writing. I've already planned so many different, man. Like, what specifically is going on with this book, Born to Rule, what that's going to look like? Think of it like kingdom personal development or kingdom high performance. It is peak performance or high performance psychology plus dominion theology. Because I don't believe anything that we ever face is ever more powerful than us. Because God has created everything and put everything under our feet. Psalm, chapter eight, okay, and Genesis 1:26. But I do want to share something super fast before Alex jumps on and just takes over it. Actually, I've known this. I have been in Genesis 2, guys, during my quiet time before I jump into, like, business or any of that, I have been in Genesis 2 the past month. And there are moments where I wake up early because I don't know how long God's going to keep me in Genesis 2. Like, I will. I will wake up early. And sometimes I'm in Genesis 2:15 to 18 for like two hours straight. You know, like, whoa, the implications of this verse or any of that. And today I kind of just want to share super fast. And then Josh will introduce Alex. And, Alex, you just take it away. I want to actually go into Genesis 2, and I'm gonna share my screen. Genesis 2, 2 through 3. Okay? Genesis 2, 2, 3. And I want to give you guys, I want you to remember this. The two modes of God. The two modes of God. The two modes of God. The two modes of God. Okay? The two modes of God. All right, so Genesis 2, 2 through 3. All right? And on the seventh day. This is after God finished everything, okay? And on the seventh day. Day, God ended his work, which he had done, and he rested on the seventh day from all his work, which he had done. Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctify it, because in it, he rested from all his work which God had created and made. All right, guys, does this sound a little repetitive? You know, God ended the work which he had done, and he rested on the seventh day from all the work which he had done. And he blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it, he rested from all the work which God had created and made. How many. Guys, y' all see this? Like, a little repetitive, you know, like, you're saying the same thing in different ways. So one of the things to always remember is that if something is repeated, you pay attention to it more. It's not that God is. He doesn't remember. It's not that he. He forgets what he just said, so he needs to say it again, okay? Oftentimes when things are repeated, God wants you to pay attention to it because there are things that he wants to emphasize about himself or how he operates in the world, okay? And there's a special thing in the Hebrew that when something is mentioned three times, it means perfection. If something is mentioned three times, it means perfection. We see in Isaiah where he sees the throne room of God and he sees the angels singing to God, and they said, holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty. So holy means to be set apart or separate. But if you see it three times, God is perfectly holy. God is perfectly set apart. So God is not in the trees. God is apart from the trees. God is not like, oh, I see God in the trees. God is not in the trees. God is not the tree. God is completely separate from the tree, okay? God is completely separate from his creed. He is so separate that it's like, man, I can't compare anything to him. I can see some qualities and might reflect them a little bit, but God is not the tree, okay? God is separate from that. Here we see three things that God has communicated. In Genesis 2, 2, 3, we see three modes of rest and three modes of work. Three things of rest and three things of work. Okay, on the seventh day, God. And let's look on rest. On the seventh day, God ended his work. He's done. Then he rested. On the seventh day, then God blessed and sanctified it, because in it he rested. Okay, so there's some ending or rest from work mentioned three times. And then guess what? It's also mentioned about the work he had done three times. God ended the work which he had done. He rested from all the work which he had done. And then God rested from all his work which he had created and made three times. So we see three things of rest and three things of work. What does that mean? And how does that connect with perfection? God has two modes. And if you look Genesis chapter one, he operates in these two modes. He operates in the mode of perfect work and perfect rest. God has two modes, perfect work and perfect rest. What does that mean? Throughout Gen, throughout days one through six, God never worked. Rests throughout. In Genesis chapter one, throughout days one and six, when he's creating, he never rests. He stops to see something as good, but he never rests. You can stop and reflect, but reflection and resting are two different things. Resting is completing, like completely stopping on all your work. Okay, so on days one through six, God is completely working, and he never stops until the job is done. God never stops until the job is done. And then when he stops, he stops completely and doesn't even do work at all. So some of us have you ever had a rest day where it didn't feel like a rest day because you're too busy thinking about the work you hadn't done yet or the work that still needed to be done, or the loops that needed to still be closed? Well, there's a reason why I didn't feel as restful as a Sabbath as God would do it. It's because you're trying to mix work and rest at the same time. But then how many of you have as you're working or building your business or your ministry or whatever you're thinking about, oh, when's my next day off? Or when can I rest? Or when can I? And it's because you're trying to throw rest in the area of work. God has two modes. Genesis chapter one. He's in the mode of either perfect rest, perfect work, or perfect rest. And so how does that translate to us? Here's what I mean. Let's say you get halfway towards your goal and you hit a big milestone. And that's amazing. And you can celebrate. Guess what? That doesn't mean you stop and you take two weeks or three weeks off. You can stop to see that it's good. But the way God would do it, God would stop to see that it's good. Because all throughout every single day it says, God looked and saw that it was good. God looked and saw that it was good. God looked and saw that it was good. So he reflected that it was good. But he never stopped working until the work was finished. And so let's say you get halfway to your goal and you want to celebrate and take four weeks off and you want to go into rest mode in a way that's not how God operates. God will still take a Sabbath day. You know, I, I encourage you. You take one day a week. My one day a week is, is usually Wednesday. It's in the middle of the week. What's my day where I go golfing and I'm trying to learn how to golf because my future self golfs, okay? And then I do family day at the end of the day. But the rest of the time I'm just, I'm not focusing on dirt. The rest of the week I am just go on work. Because God operates in perfect work. So if I'm in work, I'm perfectly only focused on the work that he's placed in front of me. And then when I'm in rest, I'm only perfectly focusing on the rest that I'm at. I'm not thinking about work at all. Because God operates in two modes. And guess what? I will not stop until I get to my impossible goal. And when that happens and I hit my impossible goal, I'm taking like two to three months off. I'm telling you. I told Chantelle, I said when we hit our impossible goal, then we could take eight weeks off. Okay? Like, it doesn't mean we don't have like one day or we don't take like two days here and there. Doesn't mean we don't do that, you know? But I'm talking about a full blown rest. I said, babe, once we hit our possible goal, we go take like six to eight weeks off. I don't even care. Like, I ain't worried about it. Like, it. Because God rested when he finished his work. He didn't rest beforehand. And so God has two modes, Perfect work and perfect rest. So yes, you hit a milestone, okay? But guess what? You hitting that milestone is a test to you. Do you really want your actual impossible goal? Are you just okay with just hitting level one when you really should be at level ten? Okay, that's awesome. You hit a million dollars a year. But if you said your goal was to be at 10 million, are you going to just stop and celebrate at, at the 1 million mark and then take six weeks off and stop going? Or are you actually fully committed to the vision for which God gave you? Are you going to keep going until you hit that 10 million? Because the way God operates, perfect work and perfect rest, God never rested until he was done. And so I encourage you, it doesn't mean you don't do a, like you reflect. I encourage you count your wins, you know, take your Sabbath day, your one day a week to really reflect over all the good that God is doing and compounding in your life and getting the gain of how far you've come. But don't stop until you hit your goal. Don't stop until you hit it, because that's when the work is done. Does that make sense? Do you guys hear me? Because God operates in perfect work and in perfect rest, the two modes of God, okay? That's why Jesus said, my Father is still working unto this day when he was picking wheat on the Sabbath. He's like, what are you talking about? My father's still working? And so now I'm going to transition into. Josh. Josh, you got two minutes to introduce Alex. And Alex, I think we're good on time, right? We're going to literally start on time on the 6:30 mark, you know, But Josh, you flow, you, you introduce him the way you are. And guys, we're going to honor Alex. We're gonna have them, you know, we're gonna really operate with questions at the end too. Like write down as many, a hundred percent, and then we'll go from there. Last thing I do want to ask really quick phobi, did you make Alex. Can you make Alex co host so he can share his screen as well? Okay, if you can do that. And then, and then Josh, take it from here. And then Alex, you, you do it.
All right, well everyone, this is my good friend Alex Alvaran. Two minutes. So I believe it was 2019 or 2020 when I met Alex through a very close friend of mine that I know since seventh grade when he was literally just starting his business. He was doing marketing actually at the same time. That was something that I genuinely desired to do. So yeah, we just hooked up years later from that time I just knew him as just a great guy. Just a guy that's just really just want to grow his business and really help people grow their business. The, the thing I like most about Alex, I've never met somebody like fearless. I've heard people talk about being fearless, but Alex, this guy, literally like when you just talk to him, it's like nothing scares him, nothing fears him. And he just talks about obstacles. Like, oh yeah, that's just what happens. I'm just gonna go do it. And it's like so you don't, you don't feel like this, you didn't think about what this. He's like, yeah, sure, but what can we do? Gotta like it has to get done. And so that's one thing I, I truly love about him. Like that's something that like challenged me and now that I'm working with him, he, he challenges me just in being who he are because he's very fearless and he's someone that is just always seeking to grow no matter what. Like he'll purposely put himself in position to where he's like, I, I have to make this happen now because I have to grow. And he'll make sure whoever is around him does that. So that's one thing that I love about him. The family man, he like working with him, getting to see his family. Actually met his mom and dad last week. Very cool people. And yeah, that's pretty much Alex, a guy that he, he really knows his stuff when it comes to marketing, digital marketing and what he's just going to always be there to, to help you. He isn't a guy that's just always trying to make some money. If somebody has serious questions and genuinely want to get to the next level in their life, he's a guy that's generally going to tell you what it takes. He's not looking for the money, he's just like, okay, this is what you can do. So yeah, that's Alex and I hope you all enjoy.
Wow, Josh, no, thanks so much for that nice introduction. I swear, other people like even like you, you can promote me better than I can promote myself. You know, I might just be like, I'm a marketing guy, you know, that's all I do. But not. Thanks for the opportunity, Christian. Thanks everybody for joining. And as Josh mentioned, like, I'm not here to pitch you on the next big MLM type thing. It's like, hey, this is for anybody. If you're starting your business at, you know, 5,000amonth, what I'm going to go over can apply to you. If you have A business that does 10 million bucks a year, this can apply to you. So my challenge to you guys is to take one nugget. This is what I learned after I've read all the self development books and webinars. Like I've done it all to where if I watch something, if I watch a presentation like this, I try to just get one nugget that I can take and execute into my next kind of whether it's business day or whether it's my next quarter, something tangible, right? We all have read books, we all have taken in information, and then a week later we're like, I don't even know what I wasted 10 hours on reading that book. Like, you don't implement anything. And so that's my challenge for you guys as I share my screen. And like Christian mentioned, once we end the presentation, I'm going to open up Q and A and it's on the spot. So if you have any questions at all, if it's very technical or if it's more about a business you want to start or whatever it is, that's fine with me. And so like I said, thanks, Christian. Thanks everybody for joining me and giving me this opportunity. Let's make sure that works. And so I started my business about eight years ago. I actually got my first few clients from my church. I was 18, 19 years old. There's a group of church business entrepreneurs. It was a male group and they were 40, 50, 60. And so I was the young technology guy. They let me make them my guinea pigs as clients. So I didn't act like I knew about marketing. People say, fake it till you make it. I was like, hey, I'm good at technology. Like Josh said, I can figure things out, but I'm not acting like something I'm not. And so they gave me my first opportunity to become my first clients. And I actually sold my car. It was a Mazda 2007 stick shift. And I sold it because I'm like, hey, I believe in myself. I'm going to commit. I'm going to figure this out. I don't have a plan B. And so that's the bill of sale. It was only a few thousand bucks that I started my business with. And this is from last October. It was a, what's that 34 day period. It's about 740,000 in net revenue. And so not even gross revenue like net revenue to my business. And the prior month was 670. And that's kind of the numbers that I do. And it's not to brag whatsoever. But even myself, if I want to get fitness advice, I want to make sure the guy has a six pack, you know, or like Christian, if someone is going to teach me how to golf, I want to look up Tiger woods videos on YouTube. And so I want to make sure that you guys can see the before and after in terms of like this is all about, hey, how do we market ourselves, how do we spread our message and how do we get more clients. And so that's why I'm going to be going over today just to share a few examples. This is a client of mine, she started with me 18 months ago, Christy Van. She's an amazing person. She's very down to earth. But she started with me at zero, right? No revenue, no clients, she didn't have a big YouTube channel. She would kind of start off very like I mentioned here, like a lot of self doubt, a lot of oh, people won't listen to my videos because, you know, I got a southern accent or have this limiting belief or nobody's going to watch or nobody is going to pay me. So I had a big challenge working with her. And this is, you know, as of Today, she has 286,000 subscribers on YouTube, which you all know. And we're talking about business here and how you want to educate your consumers. A million followers on Instagram probably isn't as valuable as a hundred thousand subscribers on YouTube. So people go on YouTube to be educated. So that's why first kind of takeaway is if you thinking of social media, you're thinking of putting your brand out there, YouTube is the best place to be because 19 million views isn't like a TikTok view, right? We all go on TikTok and we do the whole like we do a swipe, swipe, swipe, like we're not really digesting the content, we're just again taking it in, going on to the next one. But on YouTube, you know, if you watch a 10 minute video, you get to know me or Christy or Christian or Joshua, like people that make YouTube videos. It's a very immersive type of content, like a presentation like this or like a webinar. And so it's a very valuable form of content marketing. And from one webinar that she runs once a week, she's generated over $3 million in revenue. And she started with me at zero. And so that's one example. But I work with, you know, he has 1.6 million subscribers, Stephen Garner, actually 1.7 now he's growing like, 100,000 subscribers a day. Turley talks. Replace your mortgage. I've worked with any business you could think of. So I know it's like, is this going to apply to my business or is this guy for me? I mean, I've worked with doctors, therapists, lawyers, accountants, coaches, consultants. I've worked with someone who has technology that detracts EMF heat. Like, it's a very intricate thing, like, from your farm. I've worked with any type of person you could think of. So don't have the limiting belief of, oh, this guy. Alex. Sounds good, but it's not going to apply to my business, right? So just have an open mind. My dad always taught me, hey, like, put your dukes down. Like, just try to listen. And again, take away one nugget from what I'll be discussing today. And so I want to keep it simple, right? Because what is simple gets executed on. If something is very complex, it doesn't lead to anything. It leads to confusion. And whether you're having a confused buyer, they're not going to buy. But if you're confused about something, you're not going to take action. So it's all about simplicity. So I've spent, I say 10 million, but tens of millions of dollars in marketing for myself, marketing for my clients, and spent wasted and invested, right? However you want to look at it. Because, yeah, if you're in marketing, you're definitely wasting some money, but you learn lessons from that. That applies to the next, you know, million dollars that you spend. And so I'm going to go over different things there. Plus the truth about building a personal brand, right? Because everybody says you should be a personal brand, go on YouTube. Like even I'm saying, go on Instagram, make TikToks. But I want to dispel the truth about building a brand. And I'll be going over that later in the presentation. But before I talk about specific marketing, we have to talk about not just mindset, but even opportunity costs, right? I call it the perfect time tax, because like I mentioned at the start of my presentation, we all have read, you know, a million books or Instagram posts or YouTube videos, right? We have the knowledge. Everybody on this webinar, everybody on this presentation has the knowledge to hit whatever your impossible goal is. Like Christian says, whatever your impossible goal is, you have the knowledge to do it. But there's a gap between knowledge and execution, right? So what I get a lot from clients or even prospective clients is I'm just waiting for the right time. Alex, I just had a Baby, or I just did the windows in my house. I just got this new chair. Like, we all create these reasons, but excuses why it's not going to work. And again, that's the gap. And I don't call people dumb, but I've heard someone say, like, hey, that's just dumb. If you know what to do and you're not doing it and you're mad about not hitting your goal, there's nobody to be mad at but yourself, right? And so as an example, just so you can, in your own kind of way, visualize, look at the last 12 months, how much you've been making, whether it's revenue or income, whatever your specific goal is, and think, okay, what have I been making on a monthly basis and what is my target? If not, what's your impossible goal? I mean, if you're making 20,000amonth, you should be aiming for probably 200,000amonth, if not half a million a month. And so think of your current revenue and income, your target revenue and income. And that gap is it's covered a little bit, but it's the $80,000 a month perfect time tax, right? Think of your biggest expense. It's not your mortgage, it's not your car payment. It's this gap of what you're making and what you could be making. That's a tax, right? You're taxing yourself by not taking knowledge and executing on it, because we all have the knowledge. But if you look at that over a long period of time, we all think as entrepreneurs, sometimes short term, we're like, okay, what can I make this month and what can I make next quarter? But think about it over 10 years. If you're. A lot of people have had an idea on how to grow their business for 10 years, but they've done nothing about it, right? There's always been an excuse. There's always been, oh, I just, I twisted my ankle at the pickup basketball game, or I'm doing this, like, I'm going to do it next month or next quarter. Think about if you have a tax of $80,000 a month, and this is a light example, a lot of people making 10,000amonth should be making a million a month, right? I used to make 10,000amonth thinking I was so rich, and like, this is the peak. Now I've had months touching almost a million dollars a month. And so I'm not saying something that I haven't done personally. And so $80,000 a month spread out over a year. It's about a million we'll call it 960K. So over 10 years, that's $9.6 million in lost opportunity cost, loss income, lost revenue. And again, we all spend so much time on bs, it's like, oh, I'm going to invest in this savings account. It's going to give me 5% instead of the stock market index. That's going to give me 7 or 8%. I'm getting 3 more percent. It's like, what about 3x30x your business and your income? And so I want, I want to see just in the chat while I go to the next slide. Talk to me about your guys perfect time tax, right? Because you're on this call, you're in this group because you want to grow, right? You have an impossible goal. And I love how Christian pushes you guys. But put in the chat, what is your specific. Maybe it's not a goal, maybe it's a tax, right? Maybe it's an opportunity cost. Maybe it's like, hey, I never thought about it like this. Here's what I, I'm making, here's what I could be making. But I want to see you guys put in the chat. And sometimes that's all it takes, right? It takes you to typing it into the chat, putting it into numbers like, wow, I'm making five grand a month. I know I could be making 50. I know I could be making 500,000amonth. And of course, you're not in business just to make money and count your checks. If you're making 500,000amonth, you're impacting a lot of people with whatever you're doing in a great way. And so I'd love to see you guys think of in your own business, in your life, the numbers put in the chat, what that looks like. Because again, I want to talk about marketing tactics, strategies, but if this isn't taken care of before then, then you're kind of just scratching the surface of what's possible. And so I'll move on while you guys do those numbers and put that in the chat. So I'm going to go over these things individually, but just to break them down. The top three lessons I've learned from tens of millions of dollars invested wasted spent in marketing. The number one thing, this should be 1, 2, 3. Quality of leads is more important than quantity of leads. And I have a visual visualization on the next slide. Quality of leads. The quality is more important than how many leads you generate. I talk to so many entrepreneurs and they say, oh, I just need more leads. I need to talk to more people. I need cold email. I need just a lot of people in my business, which is partly true, but I'm going to go over quality of lead rather than quantity. Revenue diversification is the biggest opportunity and the biggest risk in your marketing and your business. Revenue diversification is all about, hey, where do you get revenue from? Right? This is a mistake that anybody on this call has made or will make in their business. You have some hack, right? Maybe you send out direct mail and you're a contractor. You send out direct mail to this neighborhood and it's just killing it. You're spending a thousand bucks on marketing. You're getting $100,000 in jobs. You're like, I'm like Elon Musk. I'm great at business, right? We've all had that moment put in the chat. We've all had that moment where, like, I think business is easy. Like, did I kind of like get a cheat code or something? And then that direct mail marketing company shuts down or that doesn't work anymore, or you saturated the market and now you're like, you know, I'm sol. I thought this was going to magically continue forever. I didn't set up other things in the pipeline. So a lot of people rely on whales, right? They have one again, referral source, paid marketing source, somewhere where they get clients, but it's only one. And think of it like if you're throwing a fishing line into the lake, you're trying to get fish to feed your family, somebody gets a pair of scissors, slices that off. If that's your only line out there to get clients, your family starves and you don't have food and your business, you don't have income. And so diversifying your revenue is something I'm going to be talking about. Lastly, educating your leads will make sales 10 times smoother. We've all had this lead, this prospect we speak to, and we're like, oh my gosh, like, I, I need to give you this. Like, I know you're going to benefit from what I can do, but they just seem to not trust. They seem to not find you credible. There's just a gap. And that gap is again, a lack of education, right? So many people get a referral, get a lead, and they get them on the phone or they meet them and they try to just close the deal. It's like, here's the contract. Like, I know you're going to do well with this sign up. And you could be meaning well, like, you could be honest but if they don't believe it, if they don't know, okay, well what other options are out there? What makes you different? Like are you the best? Are you the cheapest? Are you both?
Are you?
Like, what's your credibility? That's why I started this presentation by showing my social proof that definitely perks your guys ears up and things. Okay, like let me listen to this kid, right? He has a baby face. Like, let me at least hear him out. If I just jump into the presentation, a part of you might be like, I mean he sounds good but like what is he actually done? Like who has he worked with? What's his revenue? How much is he really making? And so that's a part of the education process. And so educating your leads, educating your consumers, it's going to make the sales process, they're going to be banging on your door like, hey, I watched your video or I saw your presentation, like, where can I sign? Where can I pay? That lead is a lot different than Alex. Like I don't remember reaching out to an Alex Albert. And like I'm gonna, I'm gonna call the fcc. Like how'd you get my number? That's a lot different. And so again that ties into quality of leads as well. Quality of leads versus quantity of leads. I wanted to illustrate the difference. And bear with me, I'm just gonna break this down just for a second. And so this example breaks down 50 quality leads. And I define a quality lead. Like Kenny's on this call. Joshua said, hey, I have this guy Kenny, he's in this group. Like he's a growing entrepreneur. He's serious, you should talk to him. Right? Kenny probably researched my website, my YouTube. He did his due diligence and that's a quality lead. He's referred and he already did his research. That's a quality lead. A bad lead is maybe someone who I cold DM them or I just cold emailed them. I think they're a good lead but they didn't ask to be reached out to. They don't know anything about me. So quality versus badly. You can see the difference in the quality of a sales conversation. And so I wanted to illustrate this example just to kind of break down, okay, well what does that do to revenue? Right? And so I broke down, okay, well the black line is you have a $20,000 package. Maybe you're selling coaching or marketing or you're selling life coaching. Like you're selling an attorney, like services, you're planning an estate. This is just an example. And that has that close rate and saying, okay, out of 50 quality leads in a month, you get a third of the leads. But the leads are so quality that hey, if I get four quality leads, I might have one that just doesn't reach back out to me or one that doesn't show up to a call. If I get three quality leads on a conversation, I'm going to close one out of three. Like that's just, that's standard. So it's one out of four, total 25% versus getting three times more leads, more volume of bad leads. You're getting three times more people to talk to, but you're closing them at such a low percentage. And that's, I would say, pretty healthy. I mean, I have bad lead campaigns that clients come in with that they close 1%, they close less than 1%. And so this is pretty generous saying, hey, if you get 150bad leads, 3% is about four clients a month. So it's essentially saying, okay, well out of 50 quality leads, you'll probably get 12 quality clients who will probably refer you quality clients or you'll get four clients that are at that price point. So over a 12 month time frame that breaks down to about a little less than $2 million of revenue difference. And think about, I'll go back, think of all the time and energy and focus you're wasting on all these bad leads who, they will never buy what you're selling, right? They, they're not going to watch your videos, they're not going to be prepared. That's what most people have in their business. They don't know who the quality leads are in their market. They don't identify who their ideal client is. They don't market to them very well. And they're spending so much time door knocking, just cold calling, like wasting time. And they should just identify who's my quality leads, how can I get them and focus on that? Because I have clients who sell an expensive service. They get 20 leads a month and they close 10, whereas their competitors get 200 leads a month and then they close five. Right. They have to hire a sales team and all this added expense. And so that gap is, I would say the top 5% of businesses is the black and the bottom 95% of businesses is that bottom green line. And that's the revenue difference. In this example, if you're a bigger business, it might be tens of millions of dollars. And so quality over quantity. But this kind of ties into the next point of okay, well what's revenue diversification? It sounds like a big fancy word, but at the end of the day, it's just diversifying. Where am I getting clients from? Right? This is most businesses. Just as an example, like most clients I work with, they. They get referrals. Like, if you're a realtor, like, you get, your mom sends you her neighbor who wants to sell her house. You have people you meet at the coffee shop. Like, those are referrals, right? From your network. But 90% of their business is probably from one marketing source, right? Maybe their paid advertising is advertising in a local newspaper. Maybe they're a West Palm beach realtor and they go to West Palm Beach Post, they advertise in there, and they get clients, right? It's a way of getting clients. But what if that newspaper shuts down tomorrow? A lot of people use Facebook and Instagram ads to grow their business five years ago, even 10 years ago. But that isn't what it was, right? Today, it's maybe 20% as effective. So you're kind of losing 80% of potential clients. But imagine if you did Facebook ads five years ago and you're like, oh, my God, I'm the master at Facebook advertising. This is never going to go away. Let me just ride this, and I'll get my beach house and I'll be done. But a lot of the time, that's a whale. Like, look at 90%. Imagine if you have a W2 job and your boss says, hey, if this doesn't work out, you'll just lose 90% of your paycheck. You'll be like, I'm going to lose my house. I might lose my spouse. I might lose everything. But most people in their business, they accept this reality because they don't really break down. Okay, well, how do I strengthen my business? How do I diversify where I'm getting clients from? And this is the ideal revenue diversification. And this is for any business. I mean, maybe you do some Facebook ads, 11% affiliate marketing. Maybe you work with mortgage brokers and people that are working in the real estate industry. Maybe they refer you clients and you give them a little kickback or a fee where it's legal, right? That could be 11%. You can post videos on YouTube. You can do podcasts. You can be doing articles on cnbc, pr in person, events and conferences. I've spoken for free at events, not even making a sales pitch, knowing that I would get clients from it just from adding value. I had one event, it was only 20, 25 people. I added about 100,000 in revenue. These three clients signed up from that and they refer to another client as well. And so from a, it was a, you know, I didn't get paid, it was free. Most people might be like, oh, I need a speaking fee, I need travel. I was like, it's an opportunity, right? And so that's another revenue source. And of course referrals that should and ideally be your biggest lead source. But hey, like if you lose a 30 year business, that's manageable, right? It's definitely a crisis, but it's not a business or life ending or life altering situation. Whereas most people in their business, this is 90% and they get clients elsewhere a little bit. But this is what I talk about in terms of diversification. And so I had that in my business where I had a revenue source, they drove me hundreds of thousands a month in revenue. And now today, August 26th, 2024, they send me literally $0 per month. $0 per month from hundreds of thousands per month, right? But I knew back then I'm like, hey, this is a gravy train that will end like there's a cliff, I'm going to fall off it at some point. But I planned ahead of time and now my business is stronger than ever because I have this YouTuber or that podcaster or this paid advertising, right? Even my own content. And so I spread it across the board because, hey, you're all about, as an entrepreneur, minimizing risk and maximizing upside down. Most entrepreneurs think, oh, I have to take risks, I have to be a hundred percent committed. Commitment is different than risk, right? You can be in your business but have 25 different lead sources, right? So I know I'm gonna have questions on this, so I'd be happy to answer that in the Q and A. But in terms of educating your consumers, we've all seen this stat of, hey, how many times does someone need to see something? It could be my face, right? I'm a personal brand type of business. Like if someone works with my company, they're working with me. So unless they're a referral, but even then if I get referred by somebody, technically they might have spoken to that person one time a month for the last 10 years. So if they trust that person, they've had so many interactions with them, if they trust that person, that person trusts me, they get referred. I've technically surpassed this rule probably by 10x. But I'm saying like nobody's ever spoken to you or heard of you before you post a YouTube video, they watch it, they've seen you once, then they see your Facebook ad, then they see your TikTok, then they see you on a webinar. It's an average. And this has been around for hundreds of years. The rule of seven. So you have to think about in your business, am I just going to marketing, taking a lead immediately, hard selling them, that's where you probably are. And that makes the sales process so difficult. It really, it stacks the deck against you. Whereas if you post YouTube videos, right, you educate people, you do podcasts, you do email, newsletter, live seminar, go do live seminars for free. Like, go to other people's events and say, hey, you're paying to have someone you know come to your conference. You're paying for all this. You know, conference space and AV and microphone and everything. You're paying for all that. If I can show up for free, add value to them, and probably get a few clients from it and build my brand, that's a win. So that's why I talk about a lot. Being resourceful doesn't take resources. I started my business with no money. I've grown it to what it is now through resourcefulness. And of course, as you become resourceful, you gain resources. That combination is ideal. But most people, when they're starting a business, they don't have hundreds of thousands of dollars to waste and spend. So these are different ways to educate your customers. Webinars. If you have a friend who has an Instagram channel or Instagram page with 20,000 followers, say, hey, I'm going to do a free webinar. You can be on the webinar, promote it to your audience, and let's just have fun. They might drive a 500, a thousand people onto your webinar. It didn't cost you money to do that. You invested a relationship. You've known this person for a few years. You do a webinar, you educate people like this, and you're going to have people that reach out to you because you're like, oh my gosh, if this guy Alex or this guy Josh is adding so much value for free, imagine if I pay them, right? Imagine if I pay them for their service or if I need to buy a house, I know I'm going to talk to Ryan or Christian, right? Adding value that bridges the gaps that the sales process. Your demand for your services is so high that you have leverage. So many business owners, they don't have leverage in their business because they're not confident where their next client is coming from. And so that's where, if you educate your customers you add value first. YouTube videos take no money. We all on this call. You're on this call because you're on video. You have a phone, right? You have a webcam, even you have wi fi. You can do YouTube videos, right? My biggest client, 1.7 million subscribers, doesn't have a video production team. He does his own thumbnails. He does his own editing out of his basement. I've been to his house. He'll be like, oh, I'm gonna do a quick video, 15 minutes, boom, boom. He'll get 500,000 views. He uses zoom to do interviews, and they get a million views. And so a lot of the time, again, we make excuses. We're like, oh, I need money, I need connections. I need this and that. None of these really take money. They take resourcefulness. And so I want to implore you guys, think about how you can educate your customers, because that'll bridge the gap between, okay, I know who this guy Alex is. I've seen him. Versus, oh, my gosh, I'm a loyal fan. And if this guy sells something, I'm going to buy it. Like, that's the difference. That again, most businesses, they don't want to educate their customers. They're thinking short term, how much can I make right now? How much can I make this week, this month? Versus taking the time to educate their customers? You're going to make more money on the back end because that helps build the trust, build the credibility to get them to sign up. So that's on the marketing piece. So again, I want to open up the Q and A in a few minutes, but I want to talk about building a brand. And this guy, he has the best brand. If you love him or hate him, it's because you know him. He has the best brand out of anybody on planet Earth. That's just a fact. Again, whether you like him or don't like him, you know his name and you know who he is and you have an opinion about him. That's strong. Building a brand. Most people think, I'm going to go on Instagram now. Thanks, Alex, for the advice. I'm going to go on YouTube. I'm going to post, post, post, post, post. That's not really building a brand. Right before social media, a brand. If I was a mortgage broker and I got deals done, like, if someone had messy income, if they had low credit and I still got the deal done, I'd have a reputation as like, hey, that guy, he's a rainmaker. Like, he. He gets it done. That's What a brand is. But nowadays people think, oh, if I just post on Instagram and I talk, talk, talk, I'm going to make all this money. But you get money and you get the reputation by delivering. If I say, hey, Christian, thanks for the opportunity, I'm going to deliver value to your audience. I'm going to be within my timeframe. I'm going to show up early, I'm going to stay for extra Q and A. Like, I'm going to deliver. That's a promise I make and that's a reputation that I can have. But a lot of you might be building a negative reputation. You don't even know, do you show up late? Or if you're on time, you're late, you show up late, you say you're going to do something and you do it the next day. You say you're going to meet someone there and you're like, oh, I ran into traffic, I'm an hour late. Or you just don't get it done, right? You can post on YouTube all day, you can talk, talk, talk. But if you get the client, you don't deliver. If I'm a mortgage broker, going back to the example, and I never close a loan for my clients, first of all, I'm not going to make money, but I'm going to have the reputation is like, oh, Alex, like, that guy does not close. Like, I have another mortgage broker who will get the deal done. Don't have that reputation. Don't let that be your brand. Excellent communication takes $0. It takes no money. It takes just a little effort, right? It takes resourcefulness. I reply to emails and texts seven days a week. I don't love vacation because I have the communication gap. Like, if a client wants to talk to me, I want to talk to them, right? Because maybe I talk to them, I add value so much that the next day they're like, oh, my gosh, Alex. Like, I gotta tell. I gotta refer you to Kenny. I gotta refer you to Jessica. Like, I have a good referral for you. That's what building a brand is. And if you have the reputation, right, that's a brand. Because then that leads to referrals, right? Referrals. Cause no money. If someone refers me a client, I might give them a little, like, fee, but they don't necessarily cost you money out of your pocket, right? I've built my business mainly off referrals, but I've also gotten referrals from YouTubers with millions of subscribers. So it's referrals at scale, right? But I would not be on their channel getting hundred, thousands of views if I had a bad reputation. Like, ooh, no, no, no. Alex doesn't deliver for his clients. Like, don't have them on your channel. That's your brand. So it doesn't matter if I'm a great speaker, if I post on Instagram all day, if I don't have a reputation on delivering, then you're not going to get referrals. You're going to constantly be marketing, getting clients, letting them slide out the back door. You're back at square one. Spending money on marketing, getting leads, closing out the back door. You need to eliminate your biggest expense in your business, which is client acquisition, right? Spending money on marketing, that's any business's biggest expense. But if you can have clients over, deliver for them, they join and say, oh, my gosh, like, this guy Alex is the real deal. I need to just promote you everywhere. I've had clients that have done that, and they haven't even asked for a fee in return because they're like, hey, I know you can help. You know, Jessica or Josh or whoever they're referring. And that's what building a brand is. So I want to shift your mindset around that, because on YouTube, people talk about, how do you make your first 10,000amonth? How I made 500,000amonth with my business, nobody talks about. Okay, well, did you really deliver for the clients that you sold? Did you really help them achieve their outcome of going from point A to point B? Whether you're a trainer, whether you're a lawyer? Like, it doesn't matter what you're selling. You have to deliver. You have to be a great communicator already at that point, you're in the top 10% of business, right? Then if you just market really well, you spread your message. Now you're in the top 1%, which I'm blessed to be at. Some people on this call are. Some people have impossible goals that are possible, that are kind of wanting to be in that 1%. But I want to implore you guys as I wrap up the presentation, in terms of takeaways, don't rely solely on, well, lead sources. You might have one person who sends you a bunch of business, look at that as they win. But it's. It can end tomorrow, right? God forbid. But if they die in a plane crash tomorrow, you don't want your business to go to zero, right? You have a family to feed. You have a mortgage, like, spread the risk. Have whales, a mentor told me, have dolphins. Have minnows, have shrimp. Like, I don't care if someone sends me a client a year, I'm going to send them a Christmas card and a little gift. Like, that's one client. Maybe their YouTube blows up in 2025, they send me a client a day. It's happened before, right? Christie, she started at 2,000 subscribers, like, after a few months with me. And I said, hey, like, if you, you know, like my service, if you're having a good time, like, if you have any clients that want to grow a business, let me know. She sent me millions of dollars, right, over the last 18 months just because I started with her when she was small. So don't think, okay, Alex, I'm going to go get a whale. Like, yeah, target the whales. But if your business is at 10,000amonth, nothing wrong with targeting people at that level and build over time. Kind of touching on what I mentioned. Focus on client satisfaction, build your reputation and ask for referrals. So many people don't even ask. They just magically think, okay, going back to fish. I love fish for analogies. I'm on a boat. I'm in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Come on, fish, jump in my boat, right? No fisherman on planet Earth has ever done that in their life. Said, okay, just come jump in. Like, I'm not even going to cast a line. I'm not going to get any bait. The fish are just going to magically come to me. It's like a lot of you guys think, okay, well, like, magically give me referrals. Like, read my mind and know that I want business. Ask, right? Ask. After you close someone, they sign up. What's the worst thing they could say? Not right now, but if you deliver value for me, which I'm confident you'll do, I'll send you 10 referrals. Great. Ask again in a month. Say, hey, just checking in. How are things going? And do you have anybody in mind that I can help, that I can serve? So many people are scared, right? They're like, oh, no, no, no, no, I don't want to ask for referrals. Or they ask once, kind of, you know, half assed, for lack of a better term. They ask and they're like, actually, no, no, no, it's okay if you don't have anybody. That's fine. Ask for referrals. Don't be shy. You're in business because you want to put your message out there. Like Josh said, I wouldn't say I'm fearless. You want to have your Fears, look at them in the face and say, hey, I know you will never leave me, but you're not going to stop me from achieving my goals, right? Like I, we all have fears. I've spoken in front of big audiences and I'm like, I'm a little scared right now going up, but that's not going to stop me from going up, right? So ask for referrals, build your reputation. And and lastly, you know what to do if you want to grow your business. If you want to go from 10,000amonth to a million a month, you know what to do if you keep things simple. Invest your time. I don't say spend your time. Invest your time, your focus, your energy wisely and take action consistently. Invest your time, your focus and your energy. If your friends are out drinking, partying, and you don't want to go hurt their feelings, be like, hey, I'm watching some videos right now. I'm building out my YouTube channel. I'm building out my website. Sorry, I'm, you know, I'm setting up some partnerships. Like, I don't have time to party and watch ufc. I love ufc. I love boxing. I watch the highlights the next day. It's like my goals are more important than my short term distraction. So many people say, Alex, I don't, this sounds great, but I mean, I got a family, I got a job, or I got a business. Like, I don't have time to make videos or I don't have time to do this stuff. I'm like, let me see your screen time. Send me a screenshot of your screen time. YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, 12 hours a week. I'm like, yeah, that's, you know, an hour and a half a day. Like, you could be investing in being a CEO of your company. So invest your time, your focus, your energy wisely and take action consistently. Don't take action for the next 30 days. I've been taking action consistently for the last eight or nine years and I'm still, I'm not comfortable. If anything, the one thing I really do fear is not doing enough. I don't like going to sleep, even like Christian said, I don't like resting when I didn't feel I earned the rest right. I don't like thinking, oh, I've worked six days in a row. Like, I need a break. It's like, I have people to help. Like, I want to grow my business, so that means helping more people, adding value, growing my business. And so I love this. So I take action consistently. So many people they have shiny object syndrome. They're like, oh my gosh, today I'm going to go on Instagram, I'm going to make a post. Tomorrow, oh my gosh, I'm going to do affiliate marketing, I'm going to do mlm. It's just they jump from thing to thing. Oh yeah, I've been in business for 10 years but they've never given anything sufficient time to grow through the growing pains, figure things out and learn. And so that's my presentation guys. I really appreciate all of you taking the time and I'd love, if any of you want to, I'll stop my share, even hop on screen or ask me some questions. But yeah, would love to help.
Would you be open to sharing a little more on the tactical approach of like if someone wanted to partner with you, what does that start to look like? And what, like what's your market Phasing?
Yeah.
And so what's the business in particular, please?
Well, I have a couple juggling, but in particular the industry I'll say is real estate investment.
Okay, so are you, I work with a lot of real estate investors. Are you trying to get investors? Are you trying to wholesale, Are you trying to flip?
Well, I have actually two different thoughts that come to mind that I share with you. One would be to attract buyers for a high end luxury property that's being divested. So it'd be, you know, the right clientele for that price point as an example. And then a different scenario would be what does it look like from an acquisition standpoint of targeted multifamily apartment complexes of 200 plus units? So those would be the very specific real estate deltas on that.
Gotcha. Okay. And so do you have, I'm just asking this kind of straightforward, like, do you have a track record that you could show even like a little bit, even something. Do you have a track record that you can use in your marketing?
I do.
Okay, gotcha. And so I think that's the big thing, especially when people, everybody is a real estate investor since 2008, like anybody could look like a genius, right? So you kind of have to be like, okay, well like what's my social proof that makes me different, that makes me stand out. And so for you it would be a combination of building the brand because everything is about trust, especially in real estate. If someone is going to want to sell to you, sell their property or buy something from you, if it's a luxury, you know, high end piece of real estate, they're going to want to trust you. So they're going to want to see your Instagram, they're going to want to see your YouTube. The biggest thing for someone like you is you're going to want to work with a company that can get you interviews. Right? Because that's for me, a lot of my clients say, oh, Alex, I like this interview that you did and that's why I signed up with you. Right. And so for you, I would recommend more of a PR approach. Not traditional, but of course, YouTubers, podcasters, like you want to become known in kind of both spaces. Almost like a Ryan Sirhant. Right. A lot of us have maybe seen him on the Netflix show and on social media. And we don't live in New York and We're not buying $20 million penthouses, but we know his name. So I would recommend, if you want to build the brand, it's like buying real estate. You want to do it yesterday, the next best time is today. So building the brand. And of course there are paid marketing strategies that if you want to drive more kind of short term, hey, we need this many leads to that to then get this many qualified buyers or this many qualified properties to hit your KPIs. That's the combination. The thing is, most people only do that. They get very objective. They don't focus on, okay, well this, you know, this Alex guy sounds good, but like, let me google him, let me look him up on YouTube. Most people have nothing to. And the trust is already a little bit like, I'll look at other people, we'll see. But if they look at your YouTube, they watch one interview that makes you stand out. For a lot of people, that's more important than the objective side. And so it'd be a focus on those two things.
Do you have a timeline? You usually suggest that it takes for expectations of closure.
So how big are we talking in terms of that luxury Property? Is it 5 million or more? Like 10 +?
No, it's only 2.3. Okay, 2.35.
Is it priced well? Have there been cuts?
No cuts yet. And it's. It's priced well and just started marketing. So we have some videography and social materials that are out there and partnerships. So it's about amplifying the attractiveness of other potential leads.
So in terms of short term results, there's nothing wrong with short term results. But I always tell clients you're putting a lot of pressure on yourself by spending a lot on ads, essentially where if you give yourself even a few months to build out some of the organic side of your business, like the pr, the interviews and stuff like that, that'll give you so much more room to spend less on ads and grow your business that way and even find the buyers. But if you want to do it in the next 30, 60 days, it's doable. But you will be spending a lot on marketing because it's again, like you're kind of trying to go from 0 to X with something like this. And so which isn't bad, but it's best to be like, okay, like, yeah, let's do that property while we build my brand so that in 12 months, if I make one cute Instagram reel or good Instagram reel, I'll get a buyer for it because I have 100,000 followers, you know, and so it is that kind of balance.
Okay, thank you now.
My pleasure. I'll go quickly.
Amen. First of all, thanks so much. Nice to meet you and congrats on your success. I was on your Instagram. I think you got a 2 comma club the same month we got it. We were there as well. My business partner, I recognized the name. I was like, good to me.
Oh, nice, Nice.
Awesome. So we currently spend about between 150 to 200,000 on ads, mainly Facebook and Instagram. So one of our previous businesses that we had was a digital marketing school. We didn't do as much PR publication as what we should have done. We pretty much like Redline and drove that to, you know, about $48 million in just under five years. But it was all predominantly through Facebook. Instagram didn't really do much YouTube. So I just sort of wanted to know from your perspective, like, what would you recommend would be a good diversification? TikTok, we're finding, like, the cost per lead's great, but the actual CPA is just. It's a falsified metric. You know, you actually. There's no real filtration. You can't really obviously filter as well. It's still a very junior algorithm. What would you recommend if we were to diversify? We're doing a lot of referrals now, so I run a sales agency. Just for context. We've got Brian Tracy. But then when you said, like, don't solely rely on a whale. I've got those whale clients, but I want to diversify because at the moment we've just got about two to three new businesses coming in per week. But, you know, going into that market, I don't really want to just rely on the whale clients, you know, that we have. So what would you recommend as an obvious next action.
So.
And you can clarify if I'm wrong, but essentially what you're doing is you're saying, hey, we have trained setters, trained closers. Put them in your business, right? That's kind of your.
So you're taught your B2B fractional CRO. So we actually manage them as well. So it's a little bit different. So I've got management structures and we also do the marketing, sales and finance. We partner with multiple marketing companies. We've got about 12,000 students here in Australia. So we partner the marketing with the sales and the finance company. So a little bit different. So not just placement, it's actual management.
Wow, that's amazing. So, I mean, if I was you guys, you'd be surprised that on YouTube, I agree with TikTok, even nowadays Facebook and Instagram, it's a lot of pseudo entrepreneurs, like, it's not real business owners who could really become your ideal client. Like I talked about, you can get 200 leads on TikTok. I'd rather get 20 on YouTube. Right. And so YouTube organic is what I'd recommend. Yes, you're going to get five views here and there, 10 views. But you're building organic content, so that'll become a traffic source in itself. And you have nowadays online credibility. Be like, hey, if you sign up for my vsl, you, you know, you came in my funnel, go watch a hundred of my videos, right? The quality of your conversations and just your track record. Because, hey, if you're working with, I know Brian Tracy, like, I'm sure you're working with other heavy hitters. Like, if you can break down, look, before and after what I did for his business, who's, you know, willing to share their numbers. Like if you share case studies and if your business is struggling in sales, like, look at Alex Hormozi. He's really B2B and his main platform is YouTube, right? He gets Instagram and TikTok really just to get his face out there. But his real client acquisition for his company is YouTube. And so you got to think about the quality of a lead on YouTube. Someone watches 10 of your videos and they're 10 to 15 minutes each. I mean, that's like a movie, right? So if you watch a movie, you know someone's name, you know, they're, you know, they're an actor and they date this girl or whatever. If you go on TikTok, you're like, again, I don't even know who this guy is, you know, so I'd recommend YouTube organic. And then of course, as that grows, you can of course promote the video. So don't just promote ads like get your videos out there. And YouTube has great targeting, right? You can target so specifically you can upload look alikes and you're a real marketer so you know you can like they might have even better data than Facebook and Instagram, debatably. And so I would recommend starting with organic YouTube, scaling that as much as you can. Of course you can throw a fuel on that fire by just. If you spend 10 bucks on a video, you can go from 10 views to 2,000. Like it doesn't cost a lot of money to just get the video out there to the right people. And that'd be the first step. And of course you're not going to see results with that right away, but in 12 months you'll be like, oh my gosh, thank goodness. Like it's, it's a game changer in terms of like quality, lead generation and just building up the credibility in your brand because you're putting a reputation out there at scale instead of having to sell one on one clients. Somebody could say, oh my gosh, James, I love your YouTube. I've been watching for the last 6 months like my business has grown, but now I need someone like you. And they're not looking elsewhere. They're not going to trust some guy on a Facebook ad. They've been watching your videos for six months. And so that's the difference now.
I love that. That's exactly the answer I was looking for because we do have an opportunity where we're flying from Australia to San Diego because I'm speaking with Brian in an event. But then we're potentially bringing on Kiyosaki and Kotler as some of the clients are working with. So I think that like that behind the scenes was that answer that I needed. So I really appreciate that because I, I haven't really done much YouTube. Everything I've sort of done is through Facebook ads and just super aggressive, outspend the market. When you said like get in five, I was like, yeah, that's us. We just rode the wave. So I think understanding what form to put onto YouTube is really important. So appreciate it so much, man. Thank you so much for the value.
My pleasure. No congrats on your success if you're ever in South Florida. I love golf and of course Christian as well would be great to golf.
Hey, I'm not good. I would love it.
All golfers know, as long, as long as you have A good time. You don't need to hit it.
Hey, but you got the bure Lago access, right?
Yeah, yeah, those courses we might have to play from the red team. Those courses are pro level. They're hard. I struggle on those. But, yeah, you have a good time. That's all that matters.
Added you on Instagram as well, man, but so good to connect. So appreciate it.
Thank you.
Any other questions? Any other thoughts?
Yeah, Alex, I got a question. It's not really directly related. I'm just kind of curious because you've had so much marketing experience and you work with so many different companies, so many different industries. Like, I'm just want to pick your brain at, like, what you've seen has been either the biggest challenge that you faced in scaling someone's business or the biggest challenge that that client was facing to get over a hurdle. Like, what's. What's been a story like that.
Gotcha. So I'm not a mindset guy, but I will say my biggest clients, they did the most work in that department where, like, they really. They almost felt deprived of money. I think that's one thing where, yeah, again, we can talk about marketing and funnels and stuff like that, but, like, really comparing themselves in a good way. Like, I even compare myself to Tony Robbins. I'm like, dang, this guy owned a resort at 26 years old. Like, I'm buying a house on the beach, but, like, I got things to do. Like, I'm not anywhere near where I need to be. And I think that's the key kind of denomination is that they always, every day, they're like, oh, my God, I'm making 50,000amonth. But, like, I want to buy this company for a million bucks. Like, I'm broke. You know, it's like that constant feeling of, like, I'm not. That I'm not good enough. Like, I just. I need to grow. I like the hunger. That's the simple answer. And of course, like, there's clients who, even once they got past that, patience is the biggest thing. Like, yeah, Christie looks like a genius now. 18 months in, you know, killing it on YouTube organically. Never spent a dollar on paid ads. But nine months in, she only had, like, you know, 20,000 subscribers. Most people would quit, right? So I think any entrepreneur knows, like, yeah, we all have the same tactics and strategies in our own way, but I think the biggest just do the right things consistently for a long period of time. And they always feel like I'm small, like, I need to keep growing. Like, okay, I hit 100,000amonth. That's great. But, like, I feel like I could be doing more. And it's not out of a sense of, like, skills, scarcity. It's out of a sense of, like, yeah, I know there's a lot more people I can help. So if I help more people, I make more money. And that's been for my top, like, 1% of clients that have really killed it. And they're so focused on that, right? They don't let the distractions come in. Like, they're not people pleasers. Like, they say no all day, every day. Like, I say no all day, every day to like, oh, want to come to this quince or like, this party? I'm like, I'll face time in for five minutes, right? Like, it's just like, even if I'm not doing anything work wise, I need, like Christian said, I need to rest. Like, I work hard. Like, I can't be people pleasing everyone because then I'm not happy. I don't have the energy to do a call like this and give it my all. And so it's all those things. Like, it's not really a strategy or strategic or tactical. It really is kind of all those things from what I've seen.
Yeah. Big. It's big, Christian. That's why what you do and how you help people is a game changer. Yeah.
Awesome, awesome, awesome. Alex, this might be, like, hilarious. This is my. My personal question. So you talked about YouTube. I actually focused on LinkedIn and YouTube for a good bit of time. I wouldn't even say good bit of time for like, two months, but I actually just started putting $10 per ad. You know, I mean, $10 per video. And I think I went from zero to like 14,000 subscribers in like two months just on paid ads. And I didn't spend more than like $300 a month on YouTube, but yet I couldn't get it. When you search Christian Santiago, I. You wouldn't even find me. And so is it because I didn't do organic and mainly kind of paid, or was it just because I just needed to give it time?
So quick question. Is there someone else that has this exact same name as you and they're big?
No. Like, I can literally search on YouTube, but they're like five different other Christian Santiago's, and I'm like, this person only has like 600 subscribers. This person has like 45.
You know, why wouldn't I be number one?
I'm like, I'm 14, 300 subscribers in less than two months. You know, just because I put, I put. I think I uploaded in a month, like 10 videos in a month. And I just added like $5 to $10 to the best performing ones that.
I saw, you know, last time you posted. Just for reference.
Oh, now the last time I actually stopped. I've stopped past two months, but I did it from literally from March till June or whatever. And so I just posted at least twice a week consistently, videos, 15 minute long videos, and kept adding 10 to $30 a day on like two or three videos that I tested for a month. And then I chose the best performing one and then did two new videos the next month. And then I picked the best performing one from that one. And then the third month I then did two new videos since I was uploading two a week kind of thing. And so. But I just couldn't seem to appear. Like I even had my assistant, right phobi, like, I'm like, search me, where am I at? And she's like, I had to literally scroll.
Yeah.
So I don't know, maybe it's an SEO thing. I have no clue.
I think with YouTube they love consistency and recency, but I think consistency, like a base. You post three times a week for a year, they're going to push your stuff. Right. And so I think that's the main thing where maybe someone with 500 subscribers, they're posting every day right now and they've been consistent for the last six months. And so even with my name, Alex Sabrin, like that's not really a common name. But I just started like on Google, I got the first two pages, like locked, I got on YouTube, I got like the first five pages on lock. I have a unique name, right. Like my name is in like Don Johnson or something. So I'm blessed with that. But it's like, hey, like I have been consistently posting, posting, posting, and on videos I do put my name in the title. A lot of YouTube, SEO and even anything is just like, what's the title? So that's why sometimes I do just put like Alex Albert, an interview on X, Y or Z. So that's just a little tip. Yeah. If you do that, even one video a week, but you put your name in there and you just try to like mention your name even in the video, that'll help for sure. But that kind of ties into. I want to answer Mia's question. What would you say is your rot return on time with what you're mentioning as somewhat of a drip brand campaign? I would say it's limitless and infinite because you can post a video today, in five years from now, get a client from it. I've had that where someone watched a video of mine, like a webinar that I reposted five or six years ago, and then they started going on a deep dive, but they're like, oh, I just came across this old video and then I started to look at your other ones and now like, boom, you know, $20,000 client. That's not bad. And I didn't spend any money to do it. So the return on time is just, again, you're taking your reputation and your expertise, you're putting it out there at scale and there's no risk, there's no money for a lot of people, just the risk of embarrassment. But I mean, as an entrepreneur, there's other risks involved. So I'd say that's the return on time.
So I do have a second question then. My wife wants to ask a question. How do you do your CTAs in your YouTube if you are actually giving value, but you also want them to. Do you do a hard cta or is it a soft cta?
I mean, it's just no cta.
Oh, you do know, okay, zero.
The challenge. Because I'm literally like, hey, after watching this video, guys, like, what I do is I say, I don't do a CTA to me, I say, hey, guys, after watching this video, like, make sure I give them kind of homework, right? Because I want them to take the information and implement it into their business. Or even, okay, cool. So that's why a lot of the time at the end of the video, Josh knows I'm always like, like, what is the takeaway? What is someone. Even if it's a nugget, like, what can they get out of this that's worth their five or ten minutes? And so I never pitch anything in the YouTube. The algorithm doesn't like that. But also for me, I would rather just like have people be like, oh my Gosh, like, the YouTube is straight value. Like zero sales pitch. And that's what gets people to sign up. It's almost like it's Inception, right? It's like, you do. It's like, yeah, I don't even need your money. Like, just get, here's this free video. Then people are like, okay, I need to work with you. So I'd recommend just like having an actionable item from the video. A lot of people post a 20 minute video on YouTube and you're like, I don't even know what I got from. From that, like, I guess.
Right. Or what to do next. Right, right.
Like, what's the actionable, like, takeaway? So that's why I do with my videos.
Love it, love it. Thank you. All right, babe, you go in and then you'll be the last one. And then, and then we're going to thank Alex and then Craig jumped on and he'll have something to share really quick. Okay. So, babe, go for it.
Alex, I have not had my video on. Shame on me. I am so sorry. I was actually putting the kids, dealing with the kids and putting one to sleep. So I was listening to everything in my ear though. So thank you so much. Everything you were saying, I was like, oh my gosh, that was for me. So probably a good thing I didn't have my video on because otherwise you would have seen the. Oh, constantly. So, okay, to give you a snippet, I am writing my first book, Impossible. Goal is in three years time, I will have impacted 500,000 women through this book. And also speaking on stages and I've been talking with Christian a little bit about social media strategy plan. I have between September and January until I'm wanting to launch the book and obviously the purpose of social media content. I'm actually not wanting to grow my social media. I mean, if that happens organically, great. But I'm wanting to really build an email list. I know the power behind that, obviously. And so I'm wondering if you can give me some advice on how best to go about this. My main avenues would be what? My main one would be Instagram. I do use Facebook as well. But yeah, if you could give me some tips, that would be incredible because it's like writing a book is a little bit different. It's more impact driven. So, yeah, I'm wondering if you could give me some tips.
Well, I'll start with the question. So why don't you want to grow social media just to kind of just.
For reference, like, if it happens, it's great. And I'm not like, oh no, I don't want to grow it. But it's not my focus. If it happens organically, perfect. I mean, I would expect it to grow if I'm impacting 500,000 women, but it's not my focus.
But you could use that as your main tool to impact those women even faster. Just as a way of thinking. Because again, like, I think you're maybe thinking of like, I understand like the TikTok and like the Instagram social media. It is very much like, look at me in a bikini, look at me with my shirt off. Like it's not really making value. Like it's not making an impact. So I probably get where you're coming from there. But if you go on YouTube, you make a video every day for free, doesn't cost you money. There's no downside to that. That will help build your email list, like on a tactical basis, but it will also build the branch that when you release the book, you have somewhere to already have a built in audience. Because I've had clients, yeah, they want to sell a book, but I'm like, okay, like you have no social media. We still can make it work. But imagine if you had even 100,000 subscribers on YouTube and you said, hey guys, I'm pre selling my book right now. I'm going to do a webinar to share the information about the book. You might sell a thousand bucks in an hour.
Right.
You're making an impact with your videos as well. And so that's just a thought there. But in terms of tactic with an email list, what I recommend is tapping into other people's existing lists. It's kind of like again, getting referrals at scale. My biggest referral partner ever, who I've sent them $500,000 in referral fees. Yeah, they have an email list of 150,000 people that they built over years. I partnered with them and said, hey, for your email list, let's promote to your list. Let's do a webinar together. That didn't cost me any money up front and of course I paid them on revenue. That's the fastest way to grow. Instead of you spending money on ads and yeah, like doing your own social Media, your own YouTube is good, but if someone else has been doing it for 10 years and they already have an existing list of your ideal clients.
Right.
There's no risk in saying, hey, I would love to do a webinar with you. Let's join together, let's do a free webinar just to, you know, interact with people. But then they sign up on your landing page and you get the emails, right? At least they know, okay, like Chantal did a webinar with, you know, Gabe and then six months later you promote your book. They're like, oh yeah, I like her. Like let me check out her book. Right? So that's the best piece of advice that it doesn't cost any money. You're going to grow so much faster because you can have, you don't Need a whale. You can have 10 different people list of 5,000, 10,000, 20,000. You do webinars with them, you get their email list and you're associated with them so that in a year you promote your book. You then say, okay, guys, I want to do another webinar with you to promote my book on the spot. You just make sales, right? And so that's the best tactical advice I can give you.
So in regards to reaching out to people who already have massive followings, like, I am connected with people on my social media who have hundreds of thousands of followers, which is amazing for me to reach out to them and be like, hey, let's do an IG live. Or, you know, it's just like they look at my following straight away. So how would, how would you. I mean, I'm a confident person, but at the same time it's just like, well, where are your followers? You know?
Right. No, that's what I'm saying. Like you, if you are, you know, a dolphin, you can get with other dolphins.
Like, right?
That's how I started. Like, I started with someone that had a 5,000 person email list, right? I showed success with that. I took that and said, hey, I made this much money with someone with a 5,000 person email list and this was somebody with, you know, a million subscribers. And I just cold email and said, hey, I mean, I know you probably have a list of 50,000. Imagine what we could do together after seven follow ups. Then he responded and we've done amazing business together. So seven follow ups. Oh, seven follow ups. No response. Again, like, we all know what to do. We're all just scared. We're like, send. Oh no, no, no, he's not going to respond. Just like, forget it, you know, right? These were all like, we're all nice people, we don't want to encroach. But again, the fish aren't going to jump in my boat. Like, he's not going to reach out to me and be like, hey, little Alex, like, you have a little like, business. Let me just be generous and promote you. It's like. And I also, I went to his, like, house. I went to where he lived. Like, we built a relationship. So now if I want him to promote a webinar to his, you know, millions of subscribers and email list, I give him a quick call. But it didn't take even any money. It just took, yeah, like getting rejected. But again, like, for me, like, that's maybe that's what Josh mentioned. Like, I don't mind that at all. Because you want to make an impact on half a million women. You might be rejected by a thousand to do it, you know?
Right.
And so you think of it like that. It's just a part of the process.
Okay.
Okay. So looks like I'm going to get on YouTube.
Exactly. And you guys could do collabs together and like, hey, realistically, I'm very practical. Some people, they don't have the it factor for YouTube. I send them somewhere else. Like, I'm very practical. But you, you and your husband, like, you guys have that, like, you know, personality and, like, where people would want to be led by you. Like, that is a thing even in church. Like, some people just have that it factor. So think of that as like an asset. Like, hey, like, I was gifted with this. Like, I was blessed with it. Now it's up to me to put myself out there, add value to people. Yeah, you're going to get the negative comments, but it's going to be one out of every 100 positive ones. So you take them in stride and you keep growing. So.
Yeah, well, I. My value against. One of my values against used to be rejection and used to be dishonor. But I realized that that doesn't fly with the future version of myself, the one that's impacted 500,000. So it's had to go.
So if you pack 500,000, you'll probably get hated on by at least 5,000.
Right. It's not going to stop me being who God created me to be.
Exactly.
Yeah.
So my negative comments, I reply and I'm like, that was funny. Yeah, I've got. I've gotten a lot of negative because I've gotten even more positive. But sometimes I'm like, yeah, maybe I should get a haircut. Or like, sometimes they say funny stuff, you know, but that does take time, you know?
Yeah. All right, well, thank you so much for your time. I know Christian's going to jump in.
No rush. My pleasure.
Thank you.
Alex, anything you want to share really quick before we end out, before we end your time? Because then, Craig, I know you jumped in and you want to share something with everybody, which would be awesome. But, Alex, anything you want to share really quick?
Just a quick note. Thank you all so much for being on this in the chat. If you guys want to stay for a few minutes, I'm just going to put my name and you can find that on Instagram. You can find it on YouTube and especially my YouTube. I have a lot of. You know, Josh helps me a lot with, like, Putting out a lot of videos that are again, totally free value. And so a lot of those have more of the tactical behind what I discussed today, like specifically on how do you do webinars, how do you make content public speaking. So if you guys look me up on YouTube or Instagram, there's more value there. But thanks so much for your guys.
And we can also give you, we can also get the group your contact email as well as well. Yeah, you could put that in chat. Well, Phobi has yours because of you and I and so, so because we connected, she can easily just put that in the, the WhatsApp as well. So if they want to contact you, so we can put that ourselves so you don't have to worry about it.
Sounds great.
Okay, awesome. Guys. Let's thank Alex. Let's thank them.
Thank you all. Really appreciate it.
Yes. What a blessing. Thank you so much for coming and sharing. I know super valuable for us as well. So it's going to be huge, Huge, huge. Guys, definitely let's apply because it's going to help us get to our impossible. Help us get to our impossible. And so really quick phobia, if you can just switch the spotlight and then let's have also, Craig, you're here. You messaged me and I said you need to jump on and then you need to share with the group the highlight. Craig, go ahead.
What's good, family? Good to see you guys. I passed my first test today, so I have to wait at least until the following Monday to schedule my national test. So I'm gonna be scheduling that for the next one. But I passed the first one today.
Hey, let's go. Yes, yes, yes, yes. So once you pass that national one. Okay. Then, you know, we're gonna, we're gonna set up that, that blessing fund for you. Okay. And you're gonna go and invest up, level your clothes and then you're gonna sell that seven figure, seven figure house in three months. So. Amen. When's your national test?
I have to wait till the school sends over the results to like the commission and stuff like that to then be able to take the test.
Okay, cool, cool, cool.
So once they do that, I was doing some research, it says they usually do it on Monday morning. So because I took the test today, it's probably going to be the following Monday.
Yeah. And then we'll do that.
I'll probably schedule it for maybe Tuesday or Wednesday or something like that.
Yup, yup, yup. Huge, huge. I love it. Amen. Amen. Amen. Yes. Exactly what Kenny said put. Keep your foot on the gas. Do not stop. And I wanted to remind you guys, there's five Ds the enemy will do to operate, all right? To stop you. Okay? The 5Ds of the enemy. Okay. All right. Disappointment. He'll try to use disappointment to hold you back. He'll try to use defeat to hold you back. He'll try to use distraction to hold you back. He'll try to use discouragement to hold you back. And he'll try to use distortion to hold you back. What do I mean by distortion? It means that you might misinterpret a situation, or he might put something in your mind that you might think it's one thing, but then he distorts the truth that it's something else. That you might think that this is a rejection point. But rejection is direction. It's like, no, it doesn't mean that you are, you know, going backwards. It actually means God is pivoting you to the direction that you're supposed to be. Okay? So Those are the five Ds for which the enemy is going to do and no matter what. So copy that list. If you're feeling like you're experiencing any of these emotions, guess what? It's a tool the enemy uses to hinder God's anointed ones. Okay? And so let's go after the impossible that he's given to us, and let's go after it fully and all that we have. So anything you guys want to share, any questions, any thoughts before we go? Because we are rushing. Yep.
So it's so crazy you say, like, the five Ds of the enemy, because while I was taking a test, I literally got to about 87 of the test done. And in that 87%, I felt like I had probably 90% right of it. Like, at least 90%. And the test froze. So I'm like, 13 question less. The test froze. And the only way that I can, you know, get the test to unfreeze through the proctor was to restart the whole test. So, like, I had to restart the whole test. And when I got to the second test, the questions was completely different than the first test. So, like, I'm looking at the question. I'm like, oh, my goodness. I'm starting to second guess. I'm starting to, you know, feel, like, overwhelmed and discouraged and all of the above what you put on the list. And I'm, like, kind of upset at the proctor because I told him, like, I didn't want to reset it because I knew all the answers was gonna, like, be removed, and I have to do the test over. But, you know, in. In, like, a split second, I just really felt like to say a quick prayer, like, all right, Lord, just settle my spirit. Allow me to take this test.
And.
And I'm gonna believe you to give me the grace to pass this test. Even though the questions are a little different. I'm not 100% confident. And these questions, I pray that you give me the grace to just. To finish it and to pass it. So, yeah, I just wanted to testify to the. The five.
Yeah.
Encountered that as I was taking the test.
Yep. Exactly. Exactly.
Proud of you, Craig.
Passed. Yep. Amen. Amen. So the five Ds of the enemy. So you. You experience any of these? You're on the right track. You're on the right track. You're on the right track. You're on the right track. You're on the right track. You're on the right track. You're on the right track. Some of you guys need to remember you're on the right track with this impossible goal. You're on the right track. All right. You're on the right track. All right. All right, guys. So I'm gonna do a quick prayer for Meredith's son. Just agree with me, all right, that their healing happens. Her youngest son, she didn't tell me his name, but liver failure. Okay. Youngest son. I think she told me he was, like, 14, though, so. Like 14, 15. So at that age, struggling with liver failure. That is crazy. Okay, so let's pray. Holy Spirit, we just present you Meredith's youngest son. Lord, we command and decree for his body right now to come back into kingdom order. We speak right now in the name of Jesus to his liver. Let healing come right now. Let it be made new.
Let it be.
Let it not just be a better liver. Made it be a new liver. Lord. And we speak and declare that his life will not end. We speak life into his bones. We speak life into his body right now in Jesus name. And we curse the enemy's plan that is trying to end his life early. In Jesus name, we come right now and speak against that. That weapon that is sharpened against him. It will not prosper against him. In Jesus name. And so we speak wholeness and healing right now in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen. Amen. Amen. All right, guys, be blessed. Have a powerful week. Operate with perfect work. Yes, we can look and see the Lord is good on what he's doing, but we're not going to stop until the work is done. Like Craig, you just got it. Keep your foot on the gas. Keep your foot on the gas. Because God has two modes. He operates in perfect work and perfect rest. And we truly, truly, truly only rest when the work is finished. Okay? You can reflect and see that it's good. But we're not going to stop until we hit our goal. I'm not going to stop until hitting the billion dollar mark. Okay, guys, look, I've got a lot of work to do. Guys, I've got a lot of work to do, all right? But I'm not stopping until I get there. And I don't want you guys to stop until you get to your goal. Okay? Love you guys. Have a powerful week and we're gonna move forward. And I'm so grateful for Alex. We're gonna have more speakers, okay? Jim Batmazian. It will be confirmed. He's declared. He will be confirmed. And. And also so I'm gonna see if I get my pastor, Apostle Ron to come and speak as well. That would be amazing as well. So Chantel had a picture of him yesterday, so it's gonna happen. So love you guys. Have a powerful week.
Thanks, K.
