A Guide for Busy Entrepreneurs
27 Jan 2025 · 12 min
Brittany Long (host) explains how entrepreneurs can use AI to automate content creation and distribution—e.g., an RSS feed triggering an automation that sends items to ChatGPT to generate hooks and captions and then delivers them by email or text. She argues that AI reduces the friction of consistent content creation, especially helping people who have limited time, are neurodivergent, or are multi-passionate. Long predicts a major societal and economic shift due to AI within the next ~36 months (around late 2027), discusses implications like job displacement and the potential for Universal Basic Income, and closes by introducing her programs (AI 200k, AI Speed Coach, AI Copy Club) and her background as an educator and copywriter.

So there are two main things people are asking for help right now in a lot of my AI speed coach sessions. And one of them is, how do I create a GPT? Or how do I create a specific kind of GPT? And then the other one is, how do I automate something? So, for example, I want to figure out what's happening in my industry every day, just kind of keep up to date about it. But then I also want it to create a hug for me, and then I also want it to create a caption for me. Can it do that? And so one of the things we do on the speed coach is I can obviously advise on, yes, you can. No, you can't do that. And by the way, most of the time the answer is, yes, you can do that. There's just so, so, so much you can do with AI. But the other thing is, how do I do that? And so today, for example, I helped someone set up an RSS feed that triggered a automation, an automation that then eventually sent to chat GPT to create this hook, this caption, and then sent to their email from there. And the reason I love this is because we're getting to the point where we are customizing exactly what we get from AI and automating it and finding ways to make it easier to get that information out of the computer and into our phones or into our heads and then get it into the world. And so for those of you who have felt in the past like I don't have time to create content, or I don't have the system to create content, or I'm not organized enough to create content, or whatever other reason you're telling yourself that you can't create content. And to be fair, a lot of these reasons are valid. Like, there's a lot going on for you, I'm sure, and creating content is one of the ways that we bring in more traffic. And so if that is a high priority for you, being able to make more money, getting more visibility, and if you're like, brittany, I don't know if I want more visibility, but I definitely want to make more money, then let's just focus on that for now and not focus on the visibility part and all the weird mindset stuff, we can come up with that. But let's talk about that. So the visibility piece of it, if you want more visibility, one of the ways is through content creation. And so with content, with the content being created for you, and you can still set up the automation so that it's in your voice, it's in your tone, all of that. But when we combine that with what's happening right now in the industry, it makes it easier to talk about things that are trending right now, instead of just things that you think your audience or you hope your audience might be interested in. And then you create all this content around it and it turns out they're not. So this saves us some time. It also gives us a higher probability of people seeing what we're doing and paying attention to it. And so with an automation like this, where this person now is able to have the hook and the caption straight to her email. And you know what, you could even send it straight to your text too, if it's short enough. And so you get that message every single day where it's like, hey, this is what you're talking about today. Can you imagine how much easier it would be for you to create content consistently if somebody was to tell you, hey, this is what you're creating content for today? Or what you're, what you're creating content about today? I can't tell you how many folks, especially folks who are neurodivergent or who find themselves not having a lot of time just in general, or who struggle with organization. I don't even know if struggle is the right word because I am one of the people that I'm talking to here right now. And I think everyone around me would probably say I struggle with organization, but I would say that everything is exactly what I want it to be. And even though it looks, you know, chaotic on the outside anyway. So if that sounds like you, if anything I describe sounds like you, can you imagine how much more you'd be able to get done and to just how much easier it'd be to, for you to create content if you didn't have to worry about like all of these other things that, you know, generally would hold you back. And I think we're kind of coming into a time where the people who are multi passionate entrepreneurs, where they are the ones that really get to thrive and you know, the ones who are like, oh, I wish that I could have three businesses or more because I just have so many things I love talking about or you know, love helping people on or you know, would love to make money doing. And I think the general consensus in the past has been, well, you know, if you're multi passionate, you gotta pick just one thing and stick with it. And like, that's just how it is. And I can't tell you how many times I've heard it how many times I've heard other people say it that, you know, can you really be successful if you are trying to do multiple things at once? And in the past, I mean, I get where they're coming from and I think, I honestly think they're probably accurate if it was, you know, 2022, if it was even 2023. But now with AI, I genuinely think that people who are multi passionate can actually really thrive doing it now. Yeah, we might still want some kind of schedule in place to make sure you're able to get everything and really, you know, build that momentum. But the amount of stuff that you have to do that's gonna take you forever, that's going to feel like death by a thousand cuts. There is less of that or if there is the same amount, you can get it done faster because of AI. And I think every multi passionate person who's listening to this right now, I hope you hear me loud and clear that this is your time to thrive. Like, yeah, this is, this is it, my friends, this is it. Because we can have AI be that project manager, we can have AI remind us to do stuff. We can have AI remind us to get back to the thing we were working on 20 minutes ago that we forgot when we, you know, hyper focus on something because it sounded cool. And so we get to, we get to figure out and really be the pioneers and what it looks like to have multiple brands and multiple businesses and have money coming in from multiple streams without people looking at us and being like, oh, so really it's just a hobby because you can't focus on just one thing or to feel like we're being looked down on because we can't focus on one thing. It is okay. And I think this is really the era where if you can focus on multiple things, then all the better. And it's interesting to see how over the years, you know, there's been different. Well, over the years, like looking back at the, the scope of human history, you know, humans have changed over time to be able to survive. And I'm interested to see if those who have adhd, for example, that can, the people who can multitask, the people that can that, that want to go from one thing to another. I'm curious to see how AI really makes life a lot more fun for them and a lot more, a lot more easy to like win the game, you know, especially when it comes to like business and capitalism and stuff like that. I feel like it's, it's pretty much been for people who, I mean I say it's pretty much been for, like, anybody can thrive. Anybody can. Can have their business, they can thrive. But I do think it's been the common idea, I guess, that in order to thrive as a business owner, you focus on one thing and only one thing until you make a lot of money from that, then you can go to the next thing. And I think generally that's a great idea. But for people like me who have 70,000 ideas on any given day that are all pretty decent ideas, that feels like death by a thousand cuts. And I don't think I'm really supposed to say that. At least, you know, in the past, I wasn't really supposed to say that because it was like. It's just. People would say, oh, that's just bad business advice. Like, she shouldn't be telling people they can do multiple things because you. You know, Russell Brunson says this, that you have to do one thing. And when you have a funnel that's working really well and this. That's working really well, and that is working really well, then you can focus on something else. And all these other gurus are saying it. And so I. As I'm saying this out loud, I recognize that you may be listening to this and thinking, well, Brittany's a big, dumb, dumb. Because all these other people that are brilliant and smart and really wealthy say that you should only focus on one thing. So, you know, she's not as brilliant, as smart, or as wealthy as them. So who is she to say, you know, these things? And maybe you weren't thinking that, and I was just thinking that for myself, you know, imposter syndrome, whatnot. But maybe that worked for that period of time. But times are changing, and I will continue to beat this. What's the word I'm looking for? I'll continue to say this again and again and again until I'm blue in the face that. That things are changing. Time is changing. I hesitate to share this because I don't want it to cause any anxiety for anyone. And also because, I don't know, I just. I feel like it. It feels a little out there, but I'm gonna say it anyway. I genuinely think within the next 36 months, or really 34 months at this point. So, November. What year are we in? 2025. Let's see. So November 20th. Or. Yeah, November 2027. So about three years from now. That is when I think we're going to. Or 2028. Whatever. Whatever I'm trying to say. Anyway, three years from now, I think that's when we're really going to see this just huge, massive shift away from life and business as we know it and towards a. More towards an economy that looks different, towards a society that looks different. And, you know, speaking for the us, but I think speaking along the world, too, that things are just going to look different because this is a different world that we're entering into. This is a different economy we're entering into. We are entering into a time where AI can and will be able to replace most human jobs. And you may be thinking, brittany, there's no way. There's somebody that was kind of heckling me the other day and just basically, you know, saying that crap. That's ridiculous. And that's fine. You know, anybody listening, you can totally think that and think that I'm, I'm off it, you know, off my marbles thinking this. But I guess we'll find out in three years or, you know, whenever. But between the advancements in AI, between the how close we're already coming to AGI compared to where we were even two years ago, compared to or thinking about where we are with robotics and how quickly that's been moving, I think that the path to our world completely shifting and how we do work and make money, to me, it seems inevitable. And again, I could be wrong, but I am personally operating like I'm not. And I'm. I'm planning on the next three years really being this massive shift and doing everything that I can in the next three years to be as helpful and valuable as possible, to make as much money as possible, to tell other people how to make or how to use AI so that they're not left behind. There's just so many people I genuinely love and care about in the business space that I worked with, my friends and my colleagues, you know, those who are not in AI space as well, family. I just really want to make sure that all of them are taken care of. And so I'm doing my part by talking about AI and, you know, sharing what I've figured out that it can do and hoping other people kind of follow suit and learn and grow and all of that. And so thank you for listening this to this. I hope this was helpful for you to see one more thing that's possible with AI and then also to kind of start thinking about what your game plan might be if, if the world looks different and, you know, if the world looks different and AI or robots can do most of what we can do now in three years, what would you want your life to look like? And what other skills might you want to start developing that would help you lean into this new AI civilization instead of fear it? So I don't have all the answers, but I'll do my best to provide as many as I can. One last thing before I go. I think UBI or Universal Basic Income is coming down the pipeline. I really don't see any way around it with AI and so that's. That'd be something new too. And again, I could be absolutely, completely wrong. But I'm gonna share, you know, what I see and what I think in case that helps somebody and in case it makes it easier for somebody in this new AI civilization. All right, that's it for today. My name is Brittany Long. I'm the creator of AI 200k, AI Speed Coach, AI Copy Club, and I'm a former award winning educator, middle school sciencer, and also copywriter. So I know what it's like to pivot. I know what it's like to have AI kind of take your job or, you know, start to. And I'm here to be as helpful as possible as you kind of figure out how to navigate this new AI world. Talk to you soon.
