Predictions and Preparations for 2025
19 Dec 2024 · 10 min
Brittany Long (creator of AI to 100K) discusses rapid AI and robotics adoption and makes a concrete prediction that within 24–36 months AI/robotics will displace ~50% of the current workforce. She outlines near-term business risks and adaptation strategies: coaching and info-product businesses are especially vulnerable unless they add human connection, implementation support, community, live events, or AI-enabled "clones" (Delphi/HeyGen) to scale personal access. She emphasizes sharpening offer messaging and copy, using AI effectively for implementation and customer support, and suggests broader economic shifts (e.g., toward universal basic income) may follow longer-term.

All right, I'm going to make a prediction. Are you ready? I predict within the next 24 to 36 months, AI and robotics will take over 50% of the current workforce. I know that's a huge number, but things are moving so fast with no sign of slowing down. I don't really see any way beyond that even at this time. We're starting to see more of that beginning to happen. And recently I did a poll and I said, okay, let's say the Tesla robot has dropped from 20,000 to 5,000. Are you going to get it? And between the people who said abso freaking lutely, yes, and the people who said if it's not Tesla, if it's something else, if it's a generic brand, maybe, yeah, there's a good chance there's quite a few people saying yes. Now, I know there's going to be a lot of people that say, absolutely not. I will never, you know, hire a robot. I'm going to hire a human. And that's fantastic. And that's one of the reasons I think we're not going to go from 0 to 100% robotic and AI takeover as far as jobs go in the next three years is because of people like that. And that's really important to have this balance between the people who are saying, progress, let's move forward, let's move forward, and those who are saying, whoa, let's hold back, let's slow this down. So you might be wondering, what's it going to look like then in the next five years, the next 10 years, if there are robots that are taking so many of these jobs, if AI is taking so many of these jobs, what will that look like? And how can I safeguard my business? First, it's a good question to ask, and it's important to start asking that question now. The people who are going to really be in trouble are the people who don't start asking that question for another 4 years, 5 years, 6 years, 7 years. My prediction is that coaching businesses, for the majority of coaching businesses, are going to struggle to stay intact, especially when you can already use AI to help you figure out some of the solutions you would go to a business coach for. Unless you feel a strong connection to your business coach and feel like they're providing something beyond just strategy, they're providing some kind of companionship or they're providing some kind of encouragement or motivation or something that. That feels like something only a human could do. For the coaches that say, hey, join my program, and then you never really see Them again, those are the programs I think that are going to struggle the most, that will have to spend more on ads and will have fewer results. So if you're wanting to sell people into a program where you are the face of the program and then have your own coaches be there to coach them and you don't really show up to coach them, I really think you're going to struggle if you don't change that business model. And so that might be only working with people at a higher ticket. If you're thinking, all right, only people that get access to me are people that have paid X amount, that's fine, but really put your flag in the sand on that or flag in the ground, whatever, flag somewhere. The people who have companies that are founded solely on digital products and selling their expertise, selling their information, I think those businesses are really going to struggle too, because now not only can people find a lot of the information on ChatGPT and other AI sources, even if it's something that's really unique to them, what I found is that most people, even though they think they have something really unique, there's not a lot that is is truly unique and a brand new idea or done a completely brand new way, and I know you might be listening to this and saying, but my way is special. My way, I'm the only person on the entire earth that does it this way. And I'm sure that is true to an extent. But could people get a good portion of what they're learning from you from an AI tool? Most likely. Just to be completely honest, I know it's uncomfortable, but most likely. And so if you're selling digital products, info products, without anything that helps them implement it, without anything that helps them understand it better and get it done faster, easier, better, I think that your business is going to struggle again. I would encourage you to add in AI, add in bots to help them accomplish that, whatever that is, whatever that goal is of the course, program, whatever. I think SaaS companies will still survive and thrive as long as the messaging is really dialed in. And this is one of the most important reasons to join something like AI to 100k because it's going to help you dial in on that messaging. I'm a little biased because I'm a former copywriter messaging. When I look at why people's offers aren't selling, usually it's one of three reasons. Either one, the copy isn't clear enough, it's too vague, it sounds like everything else is out there, which you'll see a lot if you're using ChatGPT or Claude and not using it effectively or they don't have enough traffic, their sales page or the offer isn't an offer that the audience wants, it's something maybe they need but not necessarily want. The issue I see the most is 1 and 2. The copy isn't clear, it's not on point, not speaking directly to them, using their language and then the traffic. And so using AI effectively helps you with both of those things. And so it's going to be more important than ever to have a really good copy that stands out, especially I think as we see more products and offers flooding the market. Now for those of you with a coaching business who are like, oh crap, what am I going to do? Could give more access to you through a tool called Delphi or hey Gen, people can actually interact with it and it will interact back. They have really enjoyed Delphi can put in your video, your audio will look and sound like you. And I mean now this is the worst it's ever going to be because as technology progresses, as our understanding progresses, it's going to get better and better. And so using a tool like Delphi, especially if you have something that's like a high level mastermind, means that you can train this clone of yourself to respond like you would respond without your audience having to wait for you or without your audience feeling like they're getting the second tier coach by, you know, somebody else instead of you who they bought the program for. So this is a way to be able to scale, be able to give that one on one help out. Actually giving one on one help yourself all the time. Now don't hear me say, don't hear me say that and think, oh, Brittany says we should just do as little as possible and not actually give any one on one help. Even though we say that we're going to. No, I'm saying tell them that there's an AI clone that they're going to be able to access that will help them and then use that as a way to say, hey, you can get access 247 so you don't have to wait for me to respond. Um, if you have questions after that, I'm happy to answer them. But this way you can get immediate feedback. No matter if it's 3am and I'm sleeping, you'll get immediate feedback from somebody that I've trained that has my voice, tone, thoughts, my programs, all that actually respond as me and not just as somebody else, other human that has their own experiences that you Know, may not get what I wanted to say here. Another way I think you'll be able to thrive moving forward is to provide some kind of community or something for them to stay and stay engaged with where they don't feel alone. I think as we see more and more in robotics, as we see more and more in AI, I think we're going to see more and more people who are like, I just want to talk to another human. I just want to feel like my what I'm experiencing is something that's that other people experience. I just want to feel less alone. And so by providing community, by providing in person events, live events, virtual events, by providing ways for people to speak to other humans, I think that's going to these skyrocket who are willing to lean into that and finally implementing AI into your business and leaning into that and using it. I think Elisa Sarma did a really good job of this and is a great example of it. So she has these vaults that help you with, insert you with reels specific which first of all, that's great. Recently she decided to lean into AI. I did a training for her and her team how you can use it in your business and stuff like that. She has leaned into it and now says in her messaging, basically show you how to not only get the viral reels and stuff like that, I'm going to show you how to turn it into content for your business. Not just here's the information, it's here's how AI can help you use it right now for your business. She's helping people implement it using AI. And I think that's really where the magic is going to happen for a lot of business owners is instead of shying away from AI, saying here's how to really amplify what you're doing with the help of AI. Now, I know a lot of these changes can sound scary and honestly, moving forward, I think, you know, next few decades we're going to see a shift away from money in the financial or money in the way that we see it now to more of a universal income because of AI and robotics, because I might be wrong. So we'll see what happens. But all I know is for the next three to five years, two to three years, I'm planning on going hard on making as much as I can, doing as much as I can for the world and hoping for the best, planning for the best, hoping for the best, really showing up to help my people as much as I can. Because I believe when you do that, it's easier to make money and easier to help people. And easier to make the world a better place. My name is Brittany Long. I'm the creator of AI to 100K. I'll talk to you next time.
