It's November. There is no secret that Black Friday is around the corner. And one thing you might not be preparing for with Black Friday is the emotions that go along with it. I can't tell you how many people I've seen stop their Black Friday launch halfway through because they aren't making the sales that they want or who get really discouraged or who start to think, oh, my gosh, I'm a loser. My business sucks. Everything sucks because they're not making the number of sales they want. But the problem with that is most of the Black Friday sales come in on the last day. So let's go ahead and get into how to manage your emotions using AI around Black Friday. In case you're new around here, my name is Brittany Long and I help entrepreneurs who are typically also parents break the cycle of burnout using AI systems, strategies and automation. Now, if you like what we talk about in this episode, you're going to love the Holidays with AI guide that we have that covers how to use AI for every single holiday. And you know what? We put Black Friday in there, too. It's not technically a holiday, but if you're a business owner, and I know you are because you're listening to this, it basically is a holiday. Not like the fun kind where you do nothing, but holiday where you're stressed out and everybody wants something. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. All right, let's go ahead and get into it. How to manage your emotions using AI this Black Friday. So first things first, we want to get clear on what your numbers are going into. Black Friday, your good, better and best numbers. In other words, if you look back at historic launches that you've had of the same offer, if you've already launched this offer, what you make from it, what's the average that you made from it, when to mark down that number. But then we also want to look at what you did with it. How many emails did you send out? What was your email list size? What was your social following? How many posts did you post? Those are the kind of things that we want to think about. As we're looking at that, we start to get an idea of. Here's what we can expect to be a good number based on what you've done in the past. Once we have that, then we say, okay, if I work just a little bit harder, or if I is, it doesn't even have to be working harder, but if I put out a few more emails or if I put out a few more social posts, if I automate something that I didn't have automated before, like abandoned cart emails. What can I realistically think would be a better goal number here? And then we want to look at our best number and your best number is going to be the like pee or pants number. You're so excited. This was. This number felt almost impossible. If you hit it, you're just going to be like completely over the moon happy for the rest of the year or at least the rest of the quarter. Now you may not know what those numbers are. So that's the first thing we're going to do. Go to ChatGPT and ask for that. To help me find out my numbers, I look at my open rate, my click through rate, I look at my conversion rate. Those are the main numbers I'm paying attention to. So let's say I have a 40% open rate. Conversion rate, let's say is 2% and my, or sorry, my click through rate is 2%. My conversion rate is 5%. We've seen upwards of 12% during Black Friday, which is one of the reasons I heavily recommend having a Black Friday offer. And really at that point it's just math. So if I have a thousand people on my email list, a 50% open rate I'm going to do a thousand times 0.5. That means that I know about 500 people are going to open it. For the sake of numbers, let's just say that my, my click through rate is 5%. That means 25 people are going to get to the sales page. And this is where it gets interesting because this is where people start to get frustrated and discouraged. If I am going by just that one email and let's say my conversion rate on the sales page is 1%. That means for every a hundred people that get to my sales page, one person I can expect one person to buy. But if I only have 25 people that get to the sales page, well then of course I'm not expect five people to buy. My conversion rate has to be higher. It has to be higher than 1%. Let's say my conversion rate is 5%. That raises the likelihood that somebody's going to come and buy just from those 25 people that showed up. If you want to make more sales during Black Friday, traffic is almost always the name of the game. The other thing that might be happening if you're not making the sales that you want is a lack of clarity in your copy or you're trying to solve a problem that your audience might need solved but not necessarily doesn't necessarily want to be solve, not right now. And so when we're looking at Black Friday and kind of getting rid or not getting rid of it, getting ready for it, we want to look at our numbers and ChatGPT can help us look at that kind of objectively instead of feeling all that, all of the taking it personally. I guess beyond that, we can put in our sales copy and ask it to review it. Usually when I'm having ChatGPT review my sales copy, I'm asking it to review it for clarity. I'm saying what's on here that would be confusing to someone. What's on here that you would have additional questions about. If you're thinking like my audience, what's there that I could remove that would be really appealing to them right now. So I'm looking at those kind of things now. The reason we're talking about this guy to help with sales copy to manage emotions is because sometimes we are. We feel like our offer is really personal to us. Like we have heart and soul and blood and sweat and tears into this offer. And so reviewing it, we might think, especially if you had a launch that's flopped before with this, reviewing it, you might think, I don't understand how someone could not get this, or I don't understand how someone could not buy this. This is perfect for them. I go above and beyond. Like there's a lot of emotion and take it really personally. Having Chat GPT go through it and analyze it, it helps reduce a little bit of that emotion that we're feeling or a little bit of that. Yeah, I guess taking it personally kind of feel having there. The next thing that I want to do when I'm looking at Black Black Friday is I wanna look at what are the days that I'm probably gonna have lower numbers than I want. Usually that middle day or two of a Black Friday sale, or really any launch is gonna be the lowest one. And something that my coach, mastermind, coach Julie, Julie Schind said some kind of plot twist offer. A plot twists are a plot twist bonus. A plot twist bonus is basically when you say, hey, if you buy right now, here's this other thing that you can get as well. Just a bonus to incite people to buy on that day that's usually a little bit lower. I love this for a lot of reasons, but one is for the mental side of it. Twist bonus is great when because it brings additional revenue gives people another reason to buy. But the reason that I love it so much is because it keeps the Momentum for me, instead of having a good day on the first day, a decent day on the second day, and then a drop on that third day, I know that on the third day I'm still going to have a decent day because I've offered something additional. And I can't tell you how impactful keeping your momentum up, keeping your morale up during a launch, especially Black Friday launch, especially if you're already tired, how helpful that can be to your business. No matter what. With the Black Friday launch, we don't want to give up. And as one, you'll see that last day or two where you're going to see more sales coming in, in fact, sometimes have the majority of our sales in the last, you know, eight hours. You want to keep it going for that, but you also want to keep it going because you want the data so that you know the next time you launch, what can you expect? So we have that good number baseline. But you can also see, here's what went well, here's what didn't go well. When you can start to see your launches as more like a statistic or a baseline or, um, I think instead of, you know, everything to hang your hat on, things can really change for you. And using AI to do that means going into chat GPT and saying, okay, here are the numbers, here's how this launch has gone so far, here's how I'm feeling, here's I want to do, you know, I want to give up, I want to add something in and then asking it for advice on how you can build your resilience, how you can keep what you can do to increase your numbers and on your own, trying to increase your numbers. Especially if you're like in survival mode where you're thinking, I need this money coming in, it can be hard to think about what you can do to increase those numbers. So by asking ChatGPT to help you get out of that survival mode, incredibly beneficial because you're getting out of your own head and you're having an objective response versus the one that you might be having, which is subjective.
