Brittany Long (host) gives a practical, step-by-step process for creating a Black Friday offer quickly using AI tools. She endorses always running a Black Friday offer (even a low-effort one), then walks through five stages: (1) pick an offer based on available time/energy and what you enjoy delivering; (2) create/update the sales page (clarify the problem, add bonuses tied to objections); (3) plan content (angles, objections, FAQs, urgency drivers); (4) pre-launch content (recommended 2–4 emails including reply prompts and free-value emails to prime the inbox); (5) launch content (email sequence: announcement, X-ray/nuts-and-bolts, highlight/bonus, FAQ, objection response, vision-casting, final reminder). She recommends using AI (ChatGPT, Claude, Sora) to accelerate each step and suggests spending ~2 hours end-to-end if going in-depth.

After long hiatus, should you throw on the towel this Black Friday? Is it even worth creating some kind of offer? In this episode, I'll show you how to get a Black Friday offer created and checked off in no time. And of course we're using AI to do it. I'm your host, Brittany Long, former award winning educator, creator of AI to 100k and today your AI guide. So let's get into this Black Friday stuff first. I get the question a lot. Should I even have a Black Friday offer? I'm feeling overwhelmed by it. I feel like there's a lot of pressure. I don't even know if anybody's going to see my email or my social post and my answer is almost always a hundred percent yes, you should still have a Black Friday offer. Even if you're throwing something together only on Black Friday or just for two days. It is the most buying time of the year. People are already in a buying mindset and they're looking for a good deal. Worst case scenario, let's say you put together some Black Friday stuff nobody buys. You still have some things done that you can reuse later on. But I will tell you that happens way less frequently than people think. So let's talk about how AI can help you get your Black Friday offer done, emails, all of that, in no time. Step one. We want to start with the offer first. How much time and energy do you have? That's the first question I always ask myself. If I have zero time, zero energy, then the offer I'm making, I want to be low energy, low time as well. This is where something like a low ticket offer or an agency offer, if you have a team that's helping deliver on, that is going to be really helpful. And when I'm looking at energy, I'm also thinking, what is fun for me to deliver and fun for me to talk about. The only time we've had a bad Black Friday, which I mean bad is relative here. We still made sales, still fine, but it was our worst Black Friday. The only time that happened was when we made an offer that I wasn't excited to deliver because we were in the process of moving it from one platform to another and I didn't think it'd be a great experience for the people coming in. In that case, I should have just picked a different offer, one that I felt excited about promoting and talking about and all of that. So step one, offer first. How much time or energy do you have? The next question you want to ask yourself is, what do I like to deliver what do I feel good about delivering? If you have an offer that you hate, but you're like, oh, I can give a good deal on it, but you hate delivering it, do you think you're going to be able to go all in on talking about it or you're going to be excited when somebody buys? Maybe initially, but then you're going to be like, crap, now I have to deliver it. And so we want to think what's the kind of offer that you really like delivering? Then we want to think what makes it a problem to solve now? In other words, why is this a problem that somebody in your audience is needs solved and needs solved now? So here's how you can use AI to kind of help you figure this out. You can either use CHAT or GPT. I have been using chat really since it came out and that's been my go to. But I have to be honest, I've been really digging Claude's sonnet 4. 5, which is their newest model currently, and it's been really great, especially for copy. So just a side note there, if you've been only using ChatGPT, it might be time to explore caud, especially when you're looking at it for copy, I think it does a better job of copywriting. Here's a prompt that you can use based on all my offers. So if you have a sheet with all your offers, that would be when you upload it, or maybe you have it on your website. All your different offers you can link to your website based on all my offers and what you know about me and my business and my audience, which offer do you think has the highest probability to make the most sales this year that I would feel most excited about offering? Now, if you're like me and you're in chat, GPT or cloud pretty much every day, multiple times a day, by now your chatgpt, your cloud probably has a pretty good idea of who you are, what you like, who your audience is. If you're finding that you're not really getting the results you want, or it's not really remembering some things that you thought that it would, that's when it would be time to upload maybe an audience document or document about your offers or who you are or what you like. Now for us we have a few really common documents we use all the time. Like our audience document, for example. This is a document that says basically here's who our audience is. So this is what they like and don't like. And we go beyond demographics and psychographics. We Go as deep as possible. If you don't have an audience document yet or something like that, you can even say, based on what we talked about in regards to my audience, where you've just gone back and forth and said, my audience likes this, they don't like this, or this is what my audience thinks. Anytime you've done that, ask it to pull from that and create an audience document for you. The next thing I always say is, okay, let's go even deeper. Let's go as deep as the Mariana Trench. And I know that probably sounds silly, but giving it that kind of context for how deep I want it to go with understanding my audience gives me something that's way more in depth and way less surface level. So that's really why I love that. So once you have that, you'll have your audience information. You've figured out the offer that you want to do. One of the reasons people sometimes don't want to do a Black Friday offer is simply because of the decision fatigue. There is a lot going on this time of year, and a lot of times folks are like, I just have way too much going on to be able to even think about what kind of offer I should do. So this takes out that decision fatigue. So that if that is a friction point for you, where you're like, I don't know if I should do it because of that, hopefully this will persuade you that it is possible to get that done. All right, the next thing that we want to do is the sales page. Now, I will usually do the sales page next because then it informs my emails and social posts and all of that. So we're going to say, okay, now we want you to do the sales page. You probably already have a sales page for this offer. If not, you can have it create it for you. But things that I specifically want to look at for the sales page, what bonuses should I offer right now? Based on the objections my audience will likely have to this offer, I'm going to ask it to tighten up the copy. So I want it to review the sales copy and tell me what problem it's solving. If it is either saying, I'm not really sure what problem you're solving, or it's giving me a different problem than I think that I'm solving. That's where we want to look at the sales page and say, okay, maybe we need to make some updates here, but we want to be really clear on what the problem is. I have found time and again, and this is from my past as a copywriter. So I was in education for a while, left after a cancer scare, and I realized I don't want to be in education, you know, as a middle school science teacher. And then I went into supporting other people and their businesses and then copywriting. So from my time as a copywriter, I know one thing for sure, and that's if people don't resonate with a problem that they think that you're solving based on your sales page, it's way less likely that they're going to buy from you. So we really want to make sure the problem that you're solving is super, super clear on your sales page, and it's the right problem, meaning it's a problem your audience has asked you time and again and again to solve for them. So we're looking at what bonuses should we add in based on the objections people might have? We're going to talk about the problem that we're solving, making sure that the problem we think we're solving is a problem that is reflected on the sales page. We're going to ask ChatGPT or Claude what parts of the sales page are unclear, what questions people have, what objections they'll have, and then we're going to ask it how we can make it Black Friday specific. Now for step one. Coming up with that offer that's going to take between five and 10 minutes. We're not going to take a ton of time on that. We want to be able to make that decision and move on pretty quickly. Now, the sales page part, I would expect to spend around 20 to 30 minutes kind of going back and forth and then making the updates. And that brings us then to step three. Step three is planning your content. So for planning your content, we want to think what are the angles we want to talk about? What are the objections people will have? What's the problem we're solving? What are the FAQs and what's the reason for them to buy now? So what's that Black Friday deal or Black Friday bonuses that they can't get any other time of year that naturally leads to this feeling of urgency and okay, I really want to get this now versus waiting until later, or maybe not getting it until much later. So planning your content. I like to do this before really jumping in to any of the content, the social posts, the emails, things like that. If I can clean out each of these things, what are the angles I want to talk about? In other words, what are the reasons that people would buy this now? What are the objections that they may have? What's the problem I'm solving and what are the faq. If I can kind of write that all out, it makes it a lot easier for me to then create that content. And then the next thing is step four and that is pre launch content. Pre launch is really important. It's basically priming people to say yes to your offer. And so here's how I do that. And if you have a pen Nearby, I would 100% write this down. Again, this is from my time and experience as a copywriter. We've had a number of very successful launches. We've had that one launch that flopped, but other than that we've had very successful six figure launches. So the pre launch emails and content, typically what we do, the first email that we send out, which is about a week or two weeks before actual Black Friday, is a reply email. And instead of just saying hey, reply and let me know whatever it is and asking them to come up with their own response, what we do is say reply and let me know which one of these most resonates with you and we'll say A, B, C or D. Now we're not talking about the offer here. We're not talking about anything related to the offer. We're not talking about the offer. We are though thinking about what are the objections they'll have or what are the things that they are going to be feeling right now or stuck on. And that's what we're saying. So I might say something like reply and let me know which of these sounds most like you. A, I'm thinking about a Black Friday offer but I'm really tired and I don't know if I can pull it together. B, I am excited for Black Friday, see whatever it is. So if I'm making an offer about Black Friday, let's say my pre launch content would be how are you feeling right now about Black Friday? And it would just be gauging that, but I'd be asking them A, B, C or D just to reply with that letter. We have found significantly more responses when we ask them to reply just with the letter than any other time we ask them to reply. It makes it super easy for them to reply. They can say more than just a letter if they want, but this is a really important part of the pre launch content because it makes it possible for us to get in their inbox later on. So by having them reply, it's more likely that Gmail or whatever they're using is going to say, oh, this is somebody they know that they want to Talk to. So it's going to bump us into the inbox instead of the other folder or the spam folder. This is really important. Now the next pre launch email we typically do is offering value. So we say, hey, here's this free thing. I think it'll help you with problem that they're experiencing. We ideally want to focus on a problem that would stop them from buying the offer. So let's say that my offer is our membership automations on demand where you get a free automation every single month. You literally just click and it uploads into your account and it runs for you. So let's say that we want to make that offer. And I'm thinking, what are the reasons people won't buy this? They might be saying something like, I'm not sure if I'm tech savvy enough to do this. So in that case, in this particular pre launch email, I might offer them something like a free tech workshop to set up your first automation, something like that. That's going to help them see, oh, this is actually easier than I thought. I can do this. So I want to be thinking, what are some of the objections that they'll have that we need to get over that hump before we get to the actual Black Friday launch so it's easier for them to say yes. So that's what I'm thinking there. Now the next email we do in pre launch is going to be a reply email. And then finally the fourth email is just, hey, this deal is coming out tomorrow, we're really excited. Set your calendar for this time or your alarm for this time so you can get it right away. And so that's how we approach it. Now if you only have time for two emails, let's say you are listening to this and it's only a week before Black Friday. I would do those first two emails, the reply email and the free value email. Okay. And that brings us to the launch content. So we want to be thinking, what is the offer? Giving them a more in depth look at the offer, highlighting something that you think will be most attractive to them, whether that's a bonus or the deal. And then FAQ busting objections, vision casting, how is this going to help future you? And then, hey, we're almost out of time, this offer is leaving. Those are typically the launch emails that we do and then the social posts pretty much follow that. This year I'm going to be using Sora quite a bit to create some of the social posts as well some of the videos. Sora too if you don't know, is like Chat GPT's video generation tool. And honestly, at least at the time of this recording, it is the best option if you also want audio. So that's a great option and you can use it for free, which is great. So again, I'm going to go over the launch emails and when I would send each email. So first day of the sale, it's going to be. Here's what this offer is. Second day of the sale is an X ray. I always say X ray goggles. It's. If you were to wear X ray goggles and look at the offer, it's going to give you the nuts and bolts, the ins and outs. That's what I talk about in the second email. The third email is going to be highlighting something that they're going to be really excited about if this happens to fall on a Saturday or Sunday. I'll also send an extra email that's like, hey, here's this bonus or this surprise piece of this deal. And this is a bonus that's like super juicy. Again, it answers an objection for them. The fourth email is going to be an FAQ email. This. Usually we see a lot of sales coming from this one. If we put it as a third to fifth email. If we put it earlier, we don't see as many sales. If we put it later, we don't see as many sales. So having the FAQ email somewhere between the third and fifth email does best. The next email is going to be answering the most common objection that you're hearing. The next email is going to be vision casting. So reminding them how this is going to help them, why they would want to do this, reminding them about the problem that they want to solve and why that matters to them. And then that final email is going to be just, hey, here's a reminder. This offer is not around forever. It's about to expire. Go ahead and grab it now. All right, so that is in a nutshell, how to use that. I would expect to spend probably in total about two hours going through all of this if I really want to go in depth. If not, then obviously it won't take as long. But what I would do if I was you right now, I would take the transcript of this audio, I would copy and paste it into ChatGPT or Claude, and I'd ask it to help you do each of the steps that we talked about today. So just to recap, step one is coming up with your offer. You can use offers you already have, but it's just identifying which offer is going to have the highest chance of success for me right now. Step two is creating that sales page or updating the sales page. Step three is planning your content. We're looking at angles, the problem, it solves the objections, the faq, anything that's going to stop them from saying yes. That's what we want to brainstorm in step three. Step four is creating that pre launch content anywhere from two to four emails and social posts. And then finally step five is coming up with that launch content. We talked about emails being saying what it is, the X Ray email, highlight email. And if you want to do a bonus email, you can do that too. FAQ email Objection. Email vision casting and then finally, hey, this is about to end now if you like this, we actually have an automation where all you have to do is fill out a form and it will create the content for you. If you're a GPT person, we also have that for you as well. Both of those things you can get on our membership AI Automations on Demand and I'll drop the link below so that you can get that today just in time for Black Friday so that you can do even less work. And all you have to do really is fill out a form instead of literally doing anything else. My name is Brittany Long and I will drop that link to AI Automations on Demand today. Talk to you soon.
