Oh, it's time for the holidays. If you are doing Elf on the Shelf or Snoop on the Stoop or any of those other similar things with your kids, you know how hard it can be to come up with ideas for what the Elf or Snoop Dogg is doing every single day. And chatgpt Cod can obviously help with that. The first thing that I would do is create a chat specifically for Elf on the Shelf so that you can go back to it every day and not have to search through your chats. I also recommend keeping a spreadsheet that has like all your important ChatGPT links in it, because while you might not use this one but once a year, you will likely use it a lot during December and then want to use it again next December without having to retrain it. And so you can either create a custom GPT for it, or you can just create a custom chat or a chat and then save the URL to the chat so you can go back to it again next year. So the first thing we want to do is go into ChatGPT whether you're doing a GPT or a regular chat, and we want to tell it information that will be pertinent to it. You might want to tell it what your kid is into, what they like talking about, what they like doing. We're really into Elsa and Frozen right now, so I would tell it about that. I'm also going to say about the age of my kiddo. So that ChatGPT or Claude is coming up with something that's age appropriate. I don't want it to be making butt jokes at fart jokes and like that. If my kid was a little bit older, I would be like, fine with that. So in addition to telling it that, we're going to say what the purpose of this chat or this GPT is. So we're going to say, I want you to help me write Elf on the Shelf rhymes or Elf on the Shelf stories, whatever it is that you're writing for Elf on the Shelf. And I want it to sound like an actual Elf wrote it. Then you're going to talk about the tone. I want it to be funny, I want it to be serious, whatever you want it to be. And then you're gonna press enter and you may not get exactly what you want the first time. So what I recommend doing is going back in making edits, actually showing it that it's that you're making. So usually what I'll do is I'll copy and paste the response I get, put it back into the chat and then go line by line and say, I like this, I don't like this, and say, why? And I know that might sound like it takes a while. It does. At the beginning, like that first one, that might take you five minutes to kind of go through and say what you don't like. But by doing it that way and by having having what you want to reference, it's able to look back at that and say, okay, they want this instead of this. And then for the next thing, maybe you're doing all the days at once, you don't have to keep going back to it. The next day I'm going to do the same thing where I'll say, all right, today is day two of Elf on the Shelf and if you have a topic idea, you can put that in. If not, say, I need you to come up with a scene and I want you to write the letter or whatever it is that you're writing for it. Once it does that, you can say, I want you to review the letter and tell me where you missed the mark based on the feedback I gave you for the previous day. And it's going to go ahead and review itself. Now, having it review itself is one of the most beneficial things that I've seen as far as copy. Whether it's copy for your business, your website or Elf on the shelf, having ChatGPT or Cloud actually review itself seems to yield faster better results than trying to continue to go back and forth with it. And there you go. In less than four minutes, we came up with a way for you to get your Elf on the Shelf stuff done much faster. And at least if you're like me, it'll probably be better funnier because can never come up with that kind of stuff on the fly. So enjoy, have a wonderful holiday season and I'll see you in the next episode.
