If you've ever felt yourself holding back from sharing your business, sharing your ideas, and it feels like you just want to hide, but you're not sure why, it could be an issue with your branding, maybe who you say your audience isn't, who your audience actually is, or who you want to be reaching. And that's exactly what I was experiencing recently that AI helped me with. I'm Brittany Long, the creator of AI200K, and today we're talking about what to do and how AI can help. When you have a situation where you're not wanting to share your business, you feel like everything feels hard. You feel like you're pushing a boulder up the hill. That's what we're going to get into today. So this actually happened to me recently. I had been saying, oh, I work with entrepreneur moms, I work with entrepreneur moms. But I hadn't really put any content out about entrepreneur moms or for entrepreneur moms specifically. It's always been for women who are ambitious, women who our caretakers at the same time, who have a business and have other responsibilities going on in their life, women who feel like the pressure of the world is on their shoulders, women who want to be taken care of and want to take care of themselves and want to be ambitious and who are badasses. And, like, there's just all this duality here. And that was who I was. I like undercover serving, but outwardly I was saying, oh, mom entrepreneurs. Because I think that I thought that's what I should be doing. It almost felt like this natural progression when I became a mom, that I should be talking about that. But the truth is I found myself struggling to get that out there. I felt like if I start talking about that, then I had to do a mom blog, and if I had to do a mom blog, then I had to share all of these parenting tips and I had to share what was going on with our family. I just didn't want to do any of those things. I feel like mom, I'm just, like, living day by day and trying to do my best. And sometimes, like, I feel like a huge failure, and sometimes I don't, but sometimes I do. And the thought of trying to share, like, parenting stuff, I was like, I just really don't want to do this. And I hadn't really thought much of it. I think I had just kind of shown under the rug at, like, get to it eventually, I guess. But I definitely felt that discomfort, and I couldn't figure out, is it discomfort that I need to lean into or discomfort that I need to pay attention to and realize, okay, my intuition is telling me something else. I also really value privacy for my family and the thought of feeling like I had to share some of those things, which, by the way, if you serve mom entrepreneurs, I learned that you don't actually have to share all those things and you don't have to bring privacy with your family and stuff like that. But for me, I kind of like, I had to, I think partly because I like to share what's really going on for me, I like to be off the neck and share what's actually happening, not just like this candy coated version of it. And so it felt out of integrity, out of authenticity for me to feel I wasn't sharing all those things. I was. Not that I was hiding it, but I just think I'd like my family to be able to share what they want on their terms instead of me choosing what to share for them. And that's kind of what's getting stuck, I think. And so when I was at the Mastermind Digital Insiders Mastermind event this week, I went up in front of everyone for a hot seat and I was like, all right, here's who I serve. This is what, you know, looking for help on traffic. And I'm not really looking for help on mindset. Right. Giving me great advice. It's awesome. Everything is good until something comes up for me and I realize, holy crap, I don't really want to share stuff about the mom because what if I'm a bad mom and I start crying in front of everyone? So embarrassing. It's not actually embarrassing, but it feels, oh my gosh, so uncomfortable. Like vulnerability, hangover. It was wonderful and awful all at the same time. And what I realized, though, from that experience was there was definitely some blocks for me in sharing about mom entrepreneurship space. And that I don't think I actually wanted to share in that space. And so I decided I was going to give myself permission to explore that for the next few days. I decided, do I want to? Do I not want to? And I realized I. I really don't want me. I love my fellow mom entrepreneurs, but having that as like my niche, it just, it wasn't really where I wanted to be right then. And so my next question was, well, do I go from here now? ChatGPT specifically kind of in clutch for me in a few ways. The first way that it came in clutch was when I was kind of processing, holy crap, what does this mean? I have branding that talks about mom entrepreneurship, even Though it's not a lot. It felt like it might be a heavy lift to make that shift again or that people will be like, oh, she's just wishy washy. And so I started to kind of worry about those things. So of course I went to ChatGPT and asked it for some insight on how I could, first of all, if it would make sense for me to move away from that mom entrepreneurship kind of niche. And one of the things that I said was this, based on what you know about me, who do you think is my natural audience? So who do you think are the people that I would natural be, naturally be best at serving and that I would really enjoy serving? Based on the conversations we've had, based on things that I've told you about who I like working with. Basically what it came back with was, yeah, it makes sense for you to work with ambitious women who, some of them are moms, some of them are not, some of them have therapy practices or even a 9 to 5. But all of them are entrepreneurs, all of them are ambitious. All of them feel this duality between who they want to become and this ambition and this audaciousness on who they are and wanting to lean into like, softer side of them while also being the badass that they are. And so ChatGPT kind of helped me figure that out. And then it helped me figure out how to kind of share, all right, I'm not going to be doing this in each after all. And then it even helped me come up with a new audience info, like knowledge base info that I could feed into it. So for that one, I basically said, all right, now I want you to help me update my audience info. I'm going to give you, and I have this giant document of light to my audiences. So I said, I'm going to give you this document, I want you to recreate it, but this time with my new audience. And it should be the same, about the same length, it should be same format, same everything. So we talked about content pillars, we talked about here's what we believe, here's what we don't believe, here's what we value, here's what we don't value, all of those kind of things that you would normally talk about when planning out your brand. And so after doing all of those things, GBT helped me recreate that document. So now I can give that document to my team, I can upload that document into ChatGPT Cloud even, and it will have a better idea of who it is that I'm helping So now the content that it's going to help me create, instead of being geared more towards mom entrepreneurs, we can easily and quickly make that shift away from that into the one that I think deep down I've kind of owned, I'm supposed to be helping with anyway. And so that's just a few ways that it helped me this week alone. And then one other way that it helped me was when I start to feel a little bit of imposter syndrome, or I start to feel like, who am I to think, well, this imposter syndrome, but who am I to think that I can help with X, Y and Z? I asked GPT to help me with that too. So basically I said, I am feeling a little bit X, Y and Z. So I'm feeling a little bit nervous, apprehensive imposter syndrome about changing to this audience. Based on what you know about me, can you tell me why I need to go with this audience where I'm the perfect person to help people in this audience and a few other things like that? And so it. It gave me that, like, confidence boost that I needed, that I think if I had talked to my mindset coach, if I had talked to somebody that's in my audience, they would have been like, well, of course this is your audience for me. Of course you can help these people. Of course you're the perfect person to do this. So it allowed me to kind of that confidence boost that I needed, even though I was kind of this late at night.
