So this certainly isn't the worst question you're going to be asked as a parent, but it is the one you're going to get asked most frequently. And the one that I think is exhausting because you're getting asked all the time. And that question, of course, is, what's for dinner? Now, whether you are the person making most of the meals in your household, whether you share the load, or whether your partner is making most of the meals or you're going out, whatever it is, AI can help with all of that. And so let's talk about it. And this is going to be so easy that you're going to just want to do it every day. So let's say you want to cook something that's already in your house but you're not sure what. Normally what you would do is you would look at the fridge, stand there until the fridge beeps to tell you've been looking for too long, and then you pick some random thing that takes a while to cook or you close it, look around again, come back to it. You just are like, forget this. I'm just gonna go out to eat tonight. This hack is going to save you time. It's gonna save you money also, because you're gonna spend less time being like, you know what? I'm just gonna go out to eat. Cause I don't know what to make tonight. What I want you to do tonight, as soon as you get home from work or as soon as it's time for dinner, whoever it is that does the main meal planning in your house, I want them to go downstairs or go to your fridge, your kitchen, open up the fridge, pull out your phone and take a picture of it. Then you're gonna go to the pantry and do the same thing. What you'll do next is go to ChatGPT and you can even use it straight from your phone so it's easy to upload that photo. But you're gonna go straight to ChatGPT and basically say, I want you to help me figure out what to make for dinner tonight based on this criteria only what you can see in the fridge or in the pantry, and whatever criteria you want, it's healthy, it's vegetarian, it's heavy and simple carbs. Like, whatever it is that you want, go ahead and put that in there. If you want to avoid something that doesn't include X, Y and Z. So you're going to put that prompt in there. You're going to press enter. It's going to review it, it's going to give you some ideas on what you can make for dinner tonight. And then not only that, you can say, okay, give me the recipe. And it's every once in a while, it'll be a little bit funky and it'll be like, oh, I can't access the Internet, or I can't from that for privacy reasons or something like that. If that happens, you can say, don't give me a link. I just need the recipe. And it will give you the recipe for that. And you could even say, oh, so you gave me includes this particular thing, but I don't actually have that. So can you tell me how I can make this without that? Or you could even say something like, making this at the beginning of the day, I want to put it in the crock pot so that it's cooking while I'm at work, or it's cooking while I'm meeting or whatever. Can you help me with that? And wouldn't you know it, it can. So it can even tell you if you need to change something in the recipe. It can tell you how to make those adjustments. Every once in a while, I'll be like, oh, this needs butter and I only have margarine. And so I'll ask what to do? Or I'll want it to be in the crock pot and instead of the oven. So I'll say, I need to put this in the crock pot. How long should I cook it for? What other adjustments do I need to make? And it will come up with all of that for you. This is something that can help with the mental load so significantly. Like I said, that question, the what are we eating for dinner tonight? Is one of the questions that we get every single day. And so, yeah, a total game changer. And I hesitate to use that word because I know it sounds very AI ish, but that's what I feel about it. So there it is. All right, well, this has been a super short episode. I want you to go and take action on it right away. Start using it to help with your meals. Let me know how it goes. My name is Brittany Long. I'm the host of this podcast and the Doable with AI podcast. I'll talk to you soon.
