From Ideation To An Actual Offer
6 Jun 2024 · 8 min
A short podcast by Brittany Long explaining how generative AI (ChatGPT/Claude) can be used to go from ideation to a sellable offer in roughly 30–60 minutes. Through an anecdote about her partner — who used ChatGPT to define an offer (teaching Facebook group growth), identify audience psychographics, list pain points and objections, craft a UVP and bonuses, and rehearse sales calls using chat/voice modes — she walks listeners through a reproducible workflow: describe yourself and delivery preferences, propose or request offer ideas, expand audience details (psychographics + demographics), iterate on the offer and objections, generate reasons-to-buy and bonuses, then practice sales conversations. The episode emphasizes speed, low mental overhead (useful for busy parents/solopreneurs), and conversational feedback with the AI. It also references Brittany’s programs (AI 200k, AI Copy Club, Doable with AI podcast).

Yes, AI can help you make money. And no, I'm not talking about creating an AI girlfriend for people to interact with, though that is something you can do and many people are doing it. And it looks like it's going to be a billion dollar industry here within the next few years. But no, today we're talking about going from ideation to an actual offer in just about 30 minutes. Here we go. So the other day my partner was looking at what they might want to do next, as they have their business pretty much set up and automated and somebody's running it. And so now it's time to say, okay, what's next? So as they were looking at their options, I said, why don't you show people how to grow their Facebook group as a way to get leads? With a Facebook group of over 120,000, I think it's closer to 130,000 right now, and over a hundred thousand leads that have come from that. This person knows a few things about growing a Facebook group and using it to get leads. So the first step then was to figure out what the author offer might be, who the audience might be. So of course, my partner went straight to ChatGPT and said something along the lines of, I have an idea for an offer and this is what the offer is at its core. But I need your help identifying more details about the offer. I want you to go more in depth with me on the offer, on who my audience would be, who who I should be marketing to, potential obstacles that might come up for them, objections people have. And so in about 30 minutes, an hour, he was able to come up with all of that information. He went through the pain points, he went through everything that he would need to know to actually start this offer and get the next steps as well. Next, he needs to create the sales page copy. But because he knows that he's going to be getting on sales calls with people, he went into practice what it would be like to have an actual sales call. And where do you think he went? Of course, the AI. So he pulled up ChatGPT and was on the mobile version and using chat GPT4O. And with 4.0 he was able to go back and forth, click the little headphones that are that pop up in the bottom right corner. They can click that and then go back and forth with ChatGPT like he's on an actual sales call. Now the other thing that's really cool that happened is that ChatGPT acted like it was the potential client and him. So he was able to see some different ways to say things that Tim kind of how to show up on the call, what to say on the call, communicate things a little bit differently so that it had a higher chance of conversion. It has now been a few days and he has everything that he needs to start this offer. He's practiced the sales call, he has ideas on what to say. The main points to cover something like this in the past would have taken so much longer and so much more energy, so much more effort, so much more mental space and especially if you are a parent, not is. I don't know, I. Maybe you, you feel differently, but I don't feel like I have the mental capacity sometimes or the mental energy to start from scratch. Especially now that I know what it's like to not have to start from scratch. It feels like this feels like an unfair advantage that I'm not starting from scratch, that I'm able to Brainstorm with something 247 and get the ideas that I need. What my spouse did is an easy activity, easy exercise that anyone can do. Even if you have a lot on your plate, even if you have a million kids running around breaking stuff, screaming in the background, it's still easy to come up with this with the help of AI. So let's say you're looking for a new offer. Maybe this is your first offer. Maybe it's an offer that you want to create because you're tired of your other ones or the other ones aren't working or whatever the case may be. Go ahead and go through what you would, what steps you would take. Step one, you're going to tell ChatGPT or Claude a little bit about yourself. What do you like, what do you not like as far as how you enjoy delivering services? Now I like to start here because I tried a lot of different services. I know what I like, I know what I don't like. For example, I know that I don't like high intensity things where I'm micromanaged. That's just not the right fit for me. And so I might say I don't like to be micromanaged, but I do really like working and collaborating with people. I do really like doing trainings. I really like working with people who care about those they work with, who are impact driven, who are, who are motivated. So I'm going to tell it a little bit about myself, about who I like working with, about the kind of container that I like working in. So container meaning like one on one group coaching, stuff like that. Next, if I have an idea Already I will tell them my idea and if I don't, I'm going to ask for ideas. Then we're going to say, I want you to review my audience. Um, and anybody you've already told it that you want to work with. Ideally, we want to have something that's a little bit longer, that's not just demographics, but psychographics also. So psychographics demographics are like age 35 to 50 that live in rural Ohio. I don't know. And space is more of like, who X, Y and Z, who want X, Y and Z. Who spheres are X, Y and Z? And so we're going more into the psychology, not just where they live and those that basic information. And so the more in depth that you can be, the more that you know your audience inside and out, how they feel, how they think, what keeps them up at night, what gets them excited to work in the morning or excited to do whatever it is that you know and I know some of you are B2C business to consumer versus business to business is we want to go in depth as possible. And you may not know how to go in depth as possible. So that's the case. You're just going to tell ChatGPT or Claude, here's what I know about my person. I want you to help me go more in depth. Now, we do have template that you can use with ChatGPT. It's like a template and a prompt together, but we have that in AI 200k. If that's something that you're looking for, that you're interested in, then after we put the audience in, you're going to start asking it to help you get clear on the offer. What is the offer? They say something like, based on what you bought my audience and what I told you about the kind of business I like to run or the kind of business model. I want you to give me some ideas on how to make this offer a win win, and how to make it, what the problem is that I solve. And then I'm like, okay, now I want you to go deeper into what is the problem that I'm actually solving for them at a surface level and what is it at a deeper level. And then I ask it to help me shout the details. So chills down, give me information, be as descriptive and detailed as possible. Once it's done that, then I'm going to say, okay, what are the objections my audience might have about this offer? So then it's going to give me some objections and I'm going to ask it to bust those objections as well. After it buses objections, I'm going to say, okay, now tell me all the reasons that my audience will buy this. Why is this offer going to be especially them and what can I do? What can I add to it? What bonuses can I add? It's super compelling, so it's an easy yes for them. At this point, I'm usually asking it to get more specific and to set up a UVP or unique value proposition. In other words, what is it that makes this particular offer so unique? Looking for there. Once we've been out of that, we'll pretty much have the offer that we're looking for. You can give it feedback and I encourage you giving it feedback and be really conversational. I like this because I don't like this because. And say specifically what you like and don't like. And the more examples you can give, the more samples, the more description on that feedback, the better. All right, that's it for today. Again, this is Brittany Long.
