How Delphi Elevates Your Coaching Experience
29 Oct 2024 · 6 min
Brittany Long tested Delphi, an AI tool that mimics a coach's voice and video to answer client questions when unavailable. Coaches upload course material and example responses so the clone replies like them. It scales coaching while keeping clients feeling connected, though realism still has limits.

If you've ever wanted to provide more support to your mastermind group, to your course participants, but you don't want to be locked into your computer, to your phone, your box or whatever 24 7, this clone might be the solution for you. It's a tool called Delphi. I've seen people like Brendan Richard on it and essentially what it is, you upload information that maybe questions the answer, answers to questions that people ask you a lot, the course material, anything that's going to help you answer common questions that you get or questions that a coaching client might ask you. Then they can either text you back and forth, which is like a GPT, or they can actually get on a quote unquote call with you or even a video call where they see your face and it looks like you're talking, I will say this isn't the best yet. It's. It's the worst it's ever going to be. So it's just going to keep getting better and better. But it definitely looked like, when I tested it out, it definitely looked like Brandon. It had the mouth movements, the visual cues, it was just a little bit off where obviously you could tell that it was AI generated. But if you're with somebody that is, I just need to see your face. This might be an option for you. So the tool is called Delphi. Your customers, clients, whoever can use it whenever, at any time of night, you really get to be that, go to person for them even if you're not x your phone able to answer right away. For me personally, this is something I'm going to be using for my mastermind so they can reach out to me Monday through Thursday. But let's say it's Saturday night and they need some advice on something, they can go to my Delphi clone and ask the same question they would have asked. And because of the content that I've uploaded, because I give it examples of, here's how I would normally respond. It's going to respond generally like I would. Personally, I like this better than a GPT for a few reasons. One, I like that they could do voice and can actually hear my voice while they're talking to me. Two, I like it better than a GPT because with a GPT I can share that with somebody. But let's say they leave my mastermind. I don't want them to continue to have access to my Britney AI clone. Is that something that is really reserved for people that are paying a higher price, a higher premium? Now there are a few clones out there like this where you can use the tool and it'll clone your voice and your video, et cetera, and so you can look around for different ones. Delphi is the one that I'm using currently, that I'm playing with currently. I also think this is really an interesting use case for a future version of yourself. So let's say you want to talk to future you said, you know, here's the stuff that I need to do to get to future you, where I'm whatever goals, you know, achieving whatever goals it is that you wanted to achieve. Having a version of you that you can talk to, especially the voice part. For me, being able to hear my quote, unquote future self actually talking to me and being like, hey, you did it. Here's how you did it. So glad that you stuck with it. Like, those kind of things even, let's say that I had a day where I was like, not focused at all. I was not doing the kind of things that would bring me closer to my goals. I was sabotaging whatever. I can go to future me and be like, hey, this is how my day looks like. And future me can also give me some tough love. Like, if you want this version of you to exist, then you need to actually do the things that you said that you're going to do. So what is it that's keeping you from doing those things? And so it's almost like having a coach. But the coach is the future version of yourself where you've reached all the goals that you want to. You're the person that you want to be. I think that's really powerful. So that's another use case that I see for it that I think people will really enjoy using Delphi and other tools. Like, it might also be the way that coaches can scale without necessarily needing to hire 10 more coaches. So what I've seen in the past is that a coach will start a program, it gets big enough that they're like, oh, I need help. So they'll hire a few more coaches. And I'm not talking about different kinds of coaches, like a mindset coach or a finance coach. I'm talking about other coaches who coach the same way as them, do pretty much the same thing. And then eventually that coach will kind of pull themselves even further out of the program. So that when people are buying the program and interacting with a coach, it's not really ever them anymore. It's always their coaches. And there's been a lot of talk about that and how folks, you know, sign up for the person that they feel connected to and then they're hooked up with this other coach that they don't necessarily feel connected to or feel like they don't know if they should be learning from them. So with Delphi, the person that signed up would still be able to access a version of you, that phone version of you, without necessarily needing to go to another coach, obviously, unless they want to, but might be something that allows coaches to scale in a way that their audience is okay with. Obviously, if your audience isn't okay with AI, then maybe that's not for your audience. But if they are okay with AI, they still want access to your brain. They don't want to necessarily, you know, for a one on one kind of thing, that'd be an option. The other really cool thing about Delphi is that you can see the interactions too. So you can actually improve it after you see the interactions, but you can also see the interactions and use that to reach out to the person. Say something like, hey, I saw you were asking my clone this today. I wanted to just expand on one thing that you guys were talking about and use it as a way to kind of give that foundation. And then you go in and talk to them for that, for maybe something that's a little bit deeper even as an option too. If you do decide to do that, then I would take that addendum that you made where you said, hey, actually here's something a little bit deeper too that I want to add onto this and then add that into your Delphi training so that it can go into do a little bit more in depth next time too. This is Brittany Long. I'm the creator of AI 200k and the AIM mastermind. I'll see you next time.
