5 Nov 2024 · 6 min
A podcast episode by Brittany Long explaining how entrepreneurs can use AI (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) to reduce workload and improve Black Friday results. Key points: Black Friday typically converts ~12% (vs. a 3–5% average); use AI to analyze offers and generate easy-to-add bonuses; have AI audit sales copy, emails, and social posts to surface emotional hooks, objections, and new marketing angles; use AI to analyze survey responses and extract top buyer reasons and direct quotes for copy; ask AI to build a detailed, day-by-day execution schedule with subtasks while accounting for personal constraints; closing includes paid one-on-one planning sessions and links to GPT/templates.

For the non entrepreneur, the holidays are exciting. They can mean cookies and baking and sing family and just lots of really exciting things. But for the entrepreneur it is a little different. If you're like a lot of entrepreneurs, you are leading into Black Friday and which makes sense. It has upwards of 12% conversion as what we've seen, which is higher of course than the average 3 to 5%. And Black Friday is great, great for sales, but also it takes a lot out of a lot of entrepreneurs. And so in this episode I'm going to share how to use AI to lighten your load with Black Friday. The first thing we're going to do is have ChatGPT or Claude help us figure out what we need to do for Black Friday. So we're going to go in and say, here's the offer that I have. I want you to analyze my offer and help me identify anything that might be missing that would, that I could easily add in slow lift that would help people say yes to this offer. You can also ask it to come up with some bonus ideas as well so that you have something that's Black Friday specific. Now after that, we're going to ask it to help us identify the emails we need to send, the social posts we need to send everything that needs to go out after that. We want ChatGPT or Cloud to analyze your sales copy, your emails, your social posts and give you ideas on how you can better reach your audience at that heart level. So not just hey, here's the information, but what does it really mean to them and why would they even care? So those are the kinds of things that we want to be adding in and using ChatGPT or Cloudform especially figuring out maybe potential obstacles, what are reasons people wouldn't buy, but then also additional angles you might not have thought of. We also want to look at what are people saying about the program. If you haven't already set up a survey about your program or your service, this is a great time to do it. You can even ask ChatGPT or Cloud or Gemini, you tell me what questions I should ask to analyze why people bought this program and what they have in common. So this will help you when you're doing your marketing, when you're writing your sales copy, your emails, the things that people are saying again and again, oh, I bought this program for this particular reason. That's the kind of stuff we want to put in emails. Well, and the kind of stuff we want to put on sales pages, especially be like working with the people that have said these Things. Now, if you already have a survey like that, great news, you can put in the survey and you can ask it to analyze the reason that people buy. And usually what I'll say is, tell me the top three reasons that people bought this program and then pull out some direct quotes. Because I want to put the direct quotes into the sales copy, into the emails as well. Because if they're thinking that in those specific terms, other people have said those specific terms on the survey too, then I want to use those specific terms. This is one of the ways that good copywriters make people feel like, oh my gosh, they're in my head. How do they know I felt this way? Is by looking at surveys, looking at market research, looking at what people are actually saying, and then putting that directly in the copy. So there you go. You learned a little hack today too, for copywriting. After we've analyzed all that, we can ask ChatGPT or Claude to come up with a schedule for us. Tell me exactly what to do on what days so that I'm getting the most out of my time so that I'm getting everything done is any obstacles you have. For example, 2 to 4pm I'm basically useless when it comes to like deep work or copy work. My blood sugar usually goes a little higher at that time. Uh, so instead of trying to force myself to write copy at that time, I usually go for a walk or drink water, rest. And so kind of that any of that kind of information, I also tell it any obstacles I think might get in the way. So I that I'm going to be really busy or for example, I'm, I'm going to be in San Diego a few weeks for a Mastermind event. So in those cases, obviously it's going to take away from my time to work on my Black Friday stuff as I'm going to be learning in sessions, working at night. And so there's not going to be a ton of time for me to just sit and think about what I need to think about for copywriting or sales copy or coming up with a bonus or whatever the case is. Once you've given it the full picture, then you're going to ask it to come up with that plan for you and tell you exactly what to do on what days. I also ask it to be really specific and give me subtasks too. I find that sometimes if I just ask for the task or a list of things to do, it gives me like a broad, oh, right, bunch of emails and that's anywhere from six to nine emails. I'm not going to sit and do that in one setting as I'm using my SaaS, which we'll talk about that a little bit more another day. Essentially it can just spit out the information for you based on a few questions you fill out. So if you're using that, obviously that's going to be different. But if you're writing it on your own or even if you're editing it on your own, it take a little bit longer. And so I like to have it broken down of like are going to do two launch emails today, then you're going to do two mills the next day. Uh, so I break it down a little bit more. I find for me personally I have to have it break things down for me. Otherwise even though I like even using AI, even though I know it won't take long, it's one of those things where it's, it, it can feel overwhelming. And so this about cleaning my office for example, I know it won't take long. I can know I could probably do it in 10 minutes and yet it just feels like this massive task to do. And so break it down more if that's something that you need can helpful. Now if you feel like you're good to go after hearing all this, awesome. But I also know you might need a little bit more help. There's two ways I can help. One is by doing a one on one session with you where we actually plan out all of your Black Friday stuff together. We outline your emails, we outline your social posts so that you know exactly what to send out, what to post and when. If you want to use AI, but you really want somebody who's actually done this before, who's not an algorithm to take a look at everything and help you kind of plan out, then they're great for you. You can email brittanyimpactdrivenai.com for more details on that. I only have a few available is coming up very quickly. And then for those of you who are like I could do this but I just need some templates or a GPT to help. I'll link for that below. This is Brittany Long. I'm the creator of AI to 100k and I will talk to you next time.
