I don't care about your calorie deficit, you can't lose belly fat because of elevated insulin. 41% of US adults have elevated insulin, which leads to fat retention, high blood pressure, diabetes, high triglycerides, high uric acid, and more. But before the 1900s, type 2 diabetes affected less than 1% of the population. So before any workout plan or diet plan, step 1 by far should be focusing on lowering your insulin. Elevated insulin will make it extremely challenging to lose that overall fat but specifically that visceral and ectopic fat, which is the worst. I can't fit everything into a 60-second reel, so if you want my guides on training, nutrition, or fat loss, just comment the word holistic and I'll send it right over to you.
