Lashon Hara (Evil Gossip) And Dishonesty

A Torah lecture on Parashat Noah and lashon hara (evil gossip) that argues gossip's spiritual weight exceeds murder, idolatry, and adultery, especially in the age of social media. The speaker draws parallels between the biblical flood and modern crises like antisemitism and societal decay, calling for repentance and communal responsibility.

Good evening. This lecture is a refuat eli mordechai ben sarah, eleni orna bat chen hana, atzlacha lechaya bat nissim. And also, refuat agufa nefesh of talia bat odabrena. Baruch Hashem. Soon is a few days before the election here in New York, New York State. There are 1.4 million people living in New York, Jews, 1.4 million. Unfortunately, many of them are liberals, Democrats. They don't care whatever happened. They always vote for the most extreme candidate. That is very, very very liberal. No matter how much you try, it just does not work. I saw yesterday a video of Mandani, Bernie Sanders, and Cortez, the three big antisemites, which they're not hiding their hate to Israel and to the Jews, holding hands together. Bernie Sanders is supposed to be Jewish, the other two no. And talking about making New York socialist, communist, whatever they plan doesn't make that much sense to me at least. And we have to now— this is basically the last call. I know a lot of different rabbis in New York City, they ask their congregations to go and vote. Usually I always tell people never vote Democrats. Well, we have a Democrat, we have an antisemite pro-terror and anti-Israel, obviously have to go for what is not as bad. In this case, Cuomo will be not as bad. I would never in a million years tell anyone to vote for Cuomo. We also have to hope that this Republican one, whatever his name, Sliva? Sliva? This Polish guy will also drop out of the race because otherwise it doesn't look that good. Of course, in the end, it's only in the hand of Hashem. We will see what Hashem wants. We have to really hope because, I mean, the future of so many people, corporations, companies, people that built their life here for generations, it's all basically going to be very uptight, very difficult. Who knows what can happen? We will see what Hashem has in mind for us. Maybe He wants us out of here, we don't know. I see in Europe, it's very obvious that the Jews have to leave Europe. I mean, in England, France, Spain. I heard today on Israeli news there is one Israeli soccer player, supposedly the best one in Israel, went to play in a team in Spain. He's a very nice guy supposedly, quiet, down to earth, and he's the most hated player in the Spanish league. In Spain, people curse him all day, write signs against him because they know he was in the army. It's a professional player. His life is hell over there in Spain. Muslim, Palestinian flags everywhere, cursing him, attacking him in every game. I mean, our life became very difficult. Everywhere you go is a massive risk. Where are the Jews gonna live? I mean, when they leave New York City, where are they gonna go to? Where are they gonna go to? Some companies here wants to raise taxes to the rich, all these things. Where are they gonna go? They have to go to Florida, maybe upstate, New Jersey maybe, I don't know. So this is the last call. Anyone who cares about their own future, do the right thing. That's it. Okay, last one, Shabbat, we read Parashat Noah. Parashat Noah is named after one righteous man that lived in a generation of many wicked people. The Mishnah in Masechet Avot, chapter 5, the Mishnah says there was 10 generations from Adam until Noah. Adam, first Adam, they were all sinners and criminals. In the end of the 10 generations, which were committing a lot of sins between men to God and men to men, Hashem made a decree to bring a flood to the world. This flood was approximately 4,200 years ago. At that flood, everybody died except Noah, his wife, and his 3 sons and their 3 wives. That's basically it. 8 people survived. The flood was delayed by 1 week. The Gemara says, Rashi brings it, Because there was one more tzaddik, his name was Metushelach. Once they finished with the death of Metushelach, then the waters started. Because, you know, you don't want to mix one thing with the other. One sadness already, the tzaddik has died. Once they finished with everything, the rain started. 40 days and 40 nights, nonstop pouring rain. The spring waters came from deep in the ground, they were boiling. Like lava, you know, water. And as it's described in Genesis in the first chapter, there was only one continent and one ocean. No islands, no nothing. One side water, one side land. After the spring water started to come and broke the continent into many, many different pieces, that's when we also have a lot of islands, like crumbs that were everywhere. And it created 7 continents. It's written in the Zohar, one continent broke and became 7, you know, and the— and there is one scientist named Alfred Wagner, he actually put many years of his life to investigate that and he came with the results that one continent became 7 and he shows how they broke, from where to where, this piece was connected to that piece. It's very interesting. He got an award for his research. Anyway, so the situation basically is that, you know, once the continent was broke and it became 7 different continents with thousands of islands. The world was redesigned. You don't see anymore the Garden of Eden that Hashem put Adam and Eve there. There was a nice beautiful garden. Once everything broke, the water came in, destroyed everything. Now it's a whole different redesigned world. So the flood, it took 1 year for the water to dry. 1 year. Because it's nonstop rain. So now the introduction is that there were 7, 7, I mean 10 generations from Adam to Noah. As I said, everyone was extremely criminals. They do horrible things between men to men and men to God. And the Chazal are saying even though the generation of the flood made a lot of sins against God, In the end, they got the final verdict because of stealing, because they stole also a lot. You know, Rabbi Yochanan, Masechet Sanhedrin, page 108, he said the generation of the flood broke every possible sin, every crime against God, but in the end, what really finalized their verdict was the stealing. Why? Because, "I'm going to destroy the land." From here we see there is some instruction to the man when he breaks sins between man to God, you know, Hakadosh Baruch Hu have more patience to him until he will repent and, you know, we should not, he should not gets the punishment fast enough. But when he hurt other people, when he's hurting the public or anybody else over here, if he doesn't apologize, doesn't do teshuvah, there is really, there is really less patience for that person. And, you know, if sometimes Hashem gives a person some punches, you know, to wake him up. And in the end, when he sees that, you know, he continues to hurt other people, it's not only between him and Hashem that he can wait. Now it's urgent because other people get hurt. So Hashem is basically finalizing the judgment. And the flood, as it's written in the Torah, started in the second month in the 17th day of the month. And the second month on the Jewish calendar, in the 27th day of the month, a year later, meaning a year later, a year and 10 days later, everything got dried out. So, you know, this is basically the entire time that Noah and all the animals and his family were all in the in the teva. According to the calculation, according to the moon, so if the exact calculation was that the flood was 1 year and 11 days altogether. The parasha starts, Noah was a righteous and complete person. "Et haElokim italech Noah." Noah is walking every step of his life together with Hashem. You know, when we read the parasha, when we learn the parashot, it's not just what used to happen 4,200 years ago. It applies to every day of our life. You can see the same things today, what people do. And whatever you see that the way God responded, that's what's going on today. Just have to see it's very, very parallel. What happens here happens in our days. Maybe sometimes in a little different way, but the concept is the same concept. So, by Aleat HaSafot in the Gemara, they write the word Noah appeared in this verse 3 times. Shalosh Peramin. The three good things that Noah had: he was righteous, he was complete, and he was walking with God. The life of Noah is also symbolic that everything goes in triplets. He had three sons: Shem, Cham, and Japheth. We are the children of Shem. The Africans are the children of Cham. And Japheth are all the Europeans, Americans, everyone that came from Europe. And he also saw 3 worlds in his life, 3 generations actually. The old generation before the flood, how all the people were wicked and doing what they do. He saw the world is destroyed by the flood, by the mabul, and he saw the rebuild of the world, how it all started from him and his children. So it's like 3 different planets. One, there's a lot of wicked people, boom, they all drowned, they're dead. then one year you are in the ark and then you come out and you rebuild the world. So, Maharaj, three different steps. Noah is calculated in the three righteous people in the prophecy of Ezekiel 14, verse 14. You know what's mutual to them? All of them saw in their life three worlds. Like Noah, Daniel, You know, he saw the First Temple destroyed and get rebuilt, the Temple, the Second Temple, and he saw a world without the Temple. So he saw a world with a Temple, it was destroyed, then 70 years of break, he saw that time without a Temple, and then a Second Temple is built. It's like 3 different steps. Also, Iov, He saw his house is built beautifully, everything blessed before the tragedies that happened to him. Then he saw his house destroyed, children dead, dying, lose all his money, all his friends leaving him. And then in the end, everything turned around and he got rebuilt. So altogether, you can see that sometimes in life you have a big success, then you collapse and then you get yourself higher and higher. I remember this huge Reichman family, one of the biggest philanthropists in the Jewish world, giving a lot of charity, but they used to have a huge business, I think in Europe, it's called Olympia in New York. Complete giant real estate company. They were giving tzedaka and all of that and then all of a sudden something happened, I don't remember I don't know exactly the details. They basically lost almost everything and then they got back even bigger than what they were before. Even someone like Trump, he went up, he went down, he went up, he went down. I think now he's doing the best he ever did with all these deals. Just from all the tariffs, market goes up, market goes down. I'm sure he makes a lot of money because he knows what he's about to announce. So, you know, this is This is how it goes. So anyway, Noach is tzaddik tamim ayah bedorotav. The Chachamim say in Mashechet Sanhedrin, page 108, the Gemara says, yes, some of our rabbis compliment him, speak positively about him, you know, and they say Noach is tzaddik now with all the wicked people, needless to say if he was living with righteous people. It would be easier to be righteous. He would be even more righteous. And some say, no, he's only righteous now because he's compared to all the wicked people. But if he was compared to other righteous people like Abraham and others, he wouldn't be in their level. But it's very interesting. If you look at Rashi, Rashi says some of our rabbis are speaking positively about him, meaning if he's wicked now, who for sure was wicked even then when he lived with the righteous people. When Rashi continues and says, "And some," he doesn't say some of our rabbis. In the beginning he says some of our rabbis speaking about him positively. And some speak about him negatively. Why? If you speak about the tzaddik in a negative way, you cannot be called a rabbi or anything like this. This is like a hint. Why over there Rashi didn't write rabbis? Those who speak against Noah, Rashi didn't want to call them rabbis. But those who speak highly about him, he says, "Yesh mi rabotenu," some of our rabbis. And some, who is some? I don't know. Some say that he is only righteous now because he is with the wicked people. But if he would live in a different generation, it would be a different story. The achonim, the rabbis of our time, last generations, they ask, who would actually have an interest to speak negative about Noah? What is the point here? The Torah says that he's righteous. Now keep it this way. What do you need to say, oh, but if it was in a different generation, it wouldn't be something special, right? So the Chachamim answer, Noah himself is with his humility, so humble that he is the one who says, "Oh, I'm only righteous now because I'm surrounded by all these wicked people." You know, but if I lived in a different generation, it's probably I wouldn't be anything special. Meaning, I know I'm nothing. Why am I something? Because I live around all these people that will go against God and they do horrible things. Meaning sometimes an average religious person, nothing out of the ordinary, he goes to a very modern or secular town. Some people keep a little tradition, nothing special. He's a regular bachur yeshiva, maybe a year or two. When he gets there, what do they call him? Rabbi, Rabbi, Rabbi. Why? Compared to them, he's a rabbi. Because nobody there ever learned Torah. When he goes back to his yeshiva, he's just a student, a beginner. So sometimes you are compared to the people around you. You know, if you go to a place when all the people are doing bad things, you are now— "Bema'kom she'en ish, ishtedeliot ish." In a place there is no person, you should be the person. You know, the Admor Rabbi Chetzkel Mikuzmir, he says, look at the greatness of the ishtza dictami. Some people speak not so highly about him. If you see a public person, a leader that doesn't ever pose airs and everyone loves him, everyone praises him, Nobody fights him, nobody wants to destroy him, it's a sign that this person is not 100% clean. You know why? Because, you know, he doesn't have anyone. If he doesn't have anyone who loves him, it's not normal. If he doesn't love anyone who hates him, also not normal. But if he has some people who like him, wants good for him and some people hate him very much. That's when you know that this person is a good leader. Why? The wicked people hate him, the righteous people love him. You know, in the time of Moshe Rabbeinu, Aaron, his brother, was very soft, making peace between everyone. They had family issues and all of that. Everybody loved Aaron. He never rebuked them, he never gave them strong speeches. He wasn't the one who gave them the laws. So, you know, I can live with you. You're not a threat to me. Nice person. You give me nice words. When we have family issues, you come to make peace. Why should I not like you? You're not a threat to me. But the leader, the leader that say things that get on my nerve, which I don't want to hear, you know, and intimidates me and I think, you know, it's something like that, something like that, you know, this guy, if he's too much around, it's not good. We have to listen to him. It's annoying. So people begin to make stories, you know, like Moshe Rabeinu, Moshe Rabeinu, Hashem spoke to him in front of everyone. Everybody heard that. Then Korach came, he gathered 250 leaders and they begin to attack him, you're full of ego. Moshe, the Torah says, is the most humble person ever lived. God put a stamp on him. No one was more humble than him. And the Torah says, Hashem says that there's nobody more humble than him. He's anav. And they come and say, why are you so proud? Why are you so full of yourself? Who can believe such thing? Moshe Rabeinu, that Hashem called the Torah after him, Moshe zichut orat Moshe Avdi. They blame him for stealing money from the Mishkan. Vaver amudim. They were actually talking about Moshe that he doesn't do calculation. Maybe something here is not kosher. Moshe Rabbeinu, the Midrash said that some people even blamed him that he went with a married woman. People that heard God speaking to him in the front of their eyes. They started to make stories about Moshe Rabbeinu. They fought him about the water and they fought him about many, many places. And when the people of Korach, 15,000 people died and Hashem opened the ground and they all got buried alive, people came to fight him again. It's because of you all of that happened. So we see Rabotai, I mean We see today what's going on in the world. There's so much evilness. There is so many horrible people. They have zero Irat Shamayim, zero fear from God, zero. They can murder people, they can do horrible things, they can destroy people. I hear every day nonstop stories. I see how people comment, I see how they murder people. I see how they lie. I see how they ate more lies. If things don't work their way, if they're not happy from what you said, they're willing to destroy a person. It's unbelievable what's happening here. It's hard to believe such thing. And you ask yourself, where does so much evilness come to our nation from? Where does it come from? Look at Bibi Netanyahu. Prime Minister of Israel. He's trying very hard to do good for the country. I mean, it's not religious, but come on, you think he wants Israel to be destroyed? No. Does he want us to win the wars? Does he want to fight terrorism? Absolutely. Does he want Israel to succeed in the world internationally? He's trying to do everything he can to kiss up to Trump and Trump to be together with him. He has to take his ego and his insult, all of that for what? To make Israel succeed. Now half of the country is spilling his blood morning to night, nonstop. There are million articles and curses and wishing him the worst thing every week. You cannot believe it. It will take you years to read what what they just write about him negatively in one week in Israel. Every 5 minutes a new article about him. 90% of what they say are all lies. He's too bribed, he did this, he wants to stall, he wants to keep the war forever because it's good for him until the election. Every 5 minutes something new. You can't even keep track. And the hatred that they have— I give you an example. There's one famous actor and he is married to a famous actress. The actress said that she voted for Bibi, she supports him. Immediately they fired the husband. The lefty liberals. Oh, you're with him? That's it, we don't want you to walk by us in a theater. The idea is Rabotai, it's their way or highway. You don't go their way, they'll do everything they can to destroy you. They conspire, conspire with each other. They plan, they do tricks, they use all the dirty things in the world to build their case. And in the end, Hashem is watching and see how much lies and how many tricks, and everybody jump and add more oil to the fire until they until they don't see the person dead, they don't relax. Same thing they did to Trump here with this and another one, want to put him in jail for the Capitol and all that things. Same thing they did to him, same thing they do to everyone who does something good in this world which they don't like. Immediately they go nonstop, they go crazy about it, and that's what's really going on. So, Rabbi Tzvi, We continue with this. So Noah is, you know, the, the, the ish tzaddik, the Chosei Miluvlim. The Chosei Miluvlim was a big, big tzaddik, says the Or HaKodesh. He said the student of the Chosei Miluvlim, his name was Rav Yitzchak Horowitz, they asked the rabbi, Rabbi, can I ask please. What's greater, Tzadik or the Tzadik? What's greater, ish tzadik or ish tzadik? The Choson says, when a person— no, there is in Halacha, you have a question. If you want to know What comes first, something that is complete or something that— for instance, you take two breads, right? One of them is very, very hard, it's from 3 days ago but it's complete. One of them is 1 hour ago, came out from the oven, but someone took a piece from it. So you have a complete and you have better, fresh, or you have something big but it's incomplete or something small that is complete. So they asked him, what's greater, tamin or gadol? Complete or big? And he gave an example from the halacha. When you need to do a motzi and you need bread, you have a lot of fresh bread, but none of them is a complete bread. And then you have one from yesterday, it's complete. But it's not fresh. Which one you have to use for the Hamotzi? Which one? The complete. You don't want holes in it. It has to be complete. It's like bringing a sacrifice. Sacrifice, if it has a wound, the lips is cut, is missing ear, eye, something, you cannot use that sacrifice. Why? It's incomplete. Okay, so, let's go continue. Hashem said, the end of life of all these wicked people comes in front of me now. Everybody steals. We cannot keep the world going like that. Too much corruption. The fact that they go against me and they do horrible things against me, it's This is one problem. This I can wait until we see, maybe they'll repent one day or one day I'll punish them. But when they destroy each other, the world lost the value. Sometimes the world comes to such a situation you cannot really keep it anymore going. It's not ethical anymore. It's— that's why sometimes places get destroyed. See, throughout history certain things happen and places, complete places got destroyed. So, you know, in the Gemara in Masechet Pesach Nedrin, page 108, the Gemara says, "Amar Rabbi Yochanan." Rabbi Yochanan says, "Come and see how great is the power, how horrible is the power of Hamas stealing." The generation of the flood, they made so many crimes against Hashem, anything you can imagine. And in the end, the punishment in the end was finalized just because of the stealing, meaning if they didn't steal, they would survive, who knows, another few decades. One of the students of the Baal Shem Tov, Rabbi Chaim Mikha'el Sana, he said in the first generation in Israel, you know, the word Chochma was abbreviation of "Chilu mi panav kol haaretz"— fear God the entire land. It's a verse in Tehillim, chapter 96, verse 9. Because only someone that was God-fearing was counted as a smart person. Why? Because there is a verse in Tehillim, "Reshit Chochma irat Hashem." If you are God-fearing, you're smart. If you don't have fear from God, you can never be smart. Smart in the definition of Hashem. What Hashem counts as smart. Today some people may think that Bernie Sanders is smart for betraying his own people, or, you know, he has education maybe. Smart doesn't mean that you're a doctor or something like that. That's education, intelligence, okay. Smart according to Hashem. Chacham means someone that have fear, is God-fearing person. You know, no one is perfect. People can make mistakes. We make mistakes. We do teshuvah every day. You have to do teshuvah every day. Before you go to bed, you have to confess, cry to Hashem. If you had a bad day, you failed with something, what do you do? You know, we have to do it. It's our obligation. Cannot go to sleep without doing the Kriyat Shema on the bed with Vidui, begging Hashem, please forgive what I've done, give me another chance, help me to get better. Sometimes Hashem teach you in a soft way, and sometimes He teaches you in a more difficult way. But even, even when you go through some hard time, this time, sometimes you need, in order for you to get rebuilt, you need to go through some period that life is not so comfortable. Because as long as it's comfortable all the time, it's hard to grow spiritually. When can you grow spiritually? When you have crisis. You know, that's how Hashem designed the world. Besides, suffering and shame, for instance, suffering and shame is the number one tool to erase your entire seeing not just from this world, this life, but also from past reincarnations. So sometimes when you see a person that is being ashamed, they may put an article of him on the TV or something. And in Israel, the Israeli TV, they do it a lot. They take a religious person and they do what they do and they spill his blood, destroy his life. That's the time to to run to him to get a blessing. Exactly that's the time when his heart's broke, when he's full of shame, and Hashem wiped out all his sins from his file. Now he got elevated to a very high level of a righteous person. Maybe in a year from now it won't be the case. Now you have to run. And he said, please, I see what you had to go through. Now I see that you probably Hashem cleaned you out. Now you give me a blessing I should have a child, and it works. There are many, many testimonies that things like this work for people who couldn't get shiduch, couldn't get a child. They went to someone that had to go through something like that, they asked him, give me a blessing, and the blessing miraculously worked. It's very interesting. So it's written over there that used to be "Chilu mi panav kol aretz"— fear God the entire land. Someone who had fear from God, he deserved admiration. But today, unfortunately, in the level of the world, the word "chokhmah" is abbreviation "ki malah aretz hamas." That's also "chet mem." Kaf, Chet, Mem, and Chokhmah also. Kimal A'aretz Chamas. So, you know, in the previous generations, people used to kiss the Torah with their mouth and give Tzedakah with their hands. Bring money and give. Today, people kiss the Sefer Torah with their hands and give Tzedakah only with their mouth. I will give, I promise, I'm sending, I'm giving. Everything is changing unfortunately. Anyway, Rabbotai, the Gemara in Masechet Yerushalmi is talking about Hashem telling Noah, make a window to the ark. Make a window to the ark. Why do you need a window? Just have a big boat, huge boat. What was the size of the boat? Was 100 450 meters, 450 feet long. 450. It's very, very long. 50 amot wide, 25 meters. A little bit wider than this synagogue. 25 meters. And shloshim amot komato, 15 meters high. So each flight was 5 meters. 5 meters is 15 feet. 15 feet, 15 feet, 15 feet, 45 feet height. Very, very long, 450 feet height. It's like probably double than the size of a football field. And if you really think about it, that's very strange size. Usually when you make a boat, you have to make it very wide. That it doesn't flip over with the waves or wind. If it's very narrow and very, very long and high, a little wind and waves can flip it over. You hear what I'm saying or no? But obviously, since it's all miracle to begin with, this entire ark, the water will not penetrate. Remember, it was boiling water coming out of the ground. and you put tar. Usually when you put tar, tar can make water not penetrate to prevent leaks or water coming in. But what happens if you spill nonstop boiling water, meaning they come with pressure from the ground? Boiling water on tar makes it soft. You know, sometimes in the summer they come and they close all the cracks on the road with some rubber material. Wax, like tar, and then when it gets very hot, it becomes soft. You touch it, it's very flexible. Then when it gets cold, it becomes hard. So he put tar on the ark. It's a miracle no water went in. It's enough that you have one leak, it would flood the entire ark. Miracle after miracle. Food enough for so many animals for one year. It's not easy, you know, and that all the animals would live in peace and there will not be incident. But the question is, first of all, why did you need to cover the ark from the top, like make it like a submarine that no water can go in from in and out from the top? You close everything but you make one window. Tzohar. So the Gemara in Masechet Yerushalmi, Masechet Pesachim, chapter 1, the Gemara Noah, when he entered the ark, he brought special precious stones. When they were dark, he knew it's day. When they started to light, he knew it's night. Some stones, they bright at night. You know how some of the watches, when you look at the hands, when it gets dark, it begins to shine? Certain materials, they begin to spark only at night. That's one opinion how we know if it's day or night. The other opinion, if you have a window, it's so hard. You can open it and see. You open, you see day. You open it, you see night. So it's very easy for you to connect with what's going on, right? So The Chavot Yair, he says, I think 300 years ago, he says the way of the rich people that like to buy precious stones, the way of the rich people, if the stones look dark to them, they don't see any value in it. So, you know, if they look bright to themselves, it looks like a knight, meaning in his life. When you see you have stones and they buy, oh, life is great. When your stones are dark, nobody's interested, life is bad. Meaning your entire life goes according to how much money you have and how much success you have. That's very, very bad because, you know, whatever you have, we succeed in this in one minute your entire life can change. It was a very big tragedy in Miami Beach, I don't know if you heard about it. It's two families that I know, two brothers. They came to New York here to a wedding, wedding here in New York. While they're here in the wedding enjoying and dancing and eating, their son, 26 6 years old, was in the house, I guess at night, it was at night. They have a camera in the house. Later they saw it in the camera. The camera, the guy came to fix something in the aquarium. You know, you have an aquarium and it was a pump, propeller or something, a pump. He was trying to fix sit and I guess maybe there was an open wire or something like that touching the water and got electrocuted from what I heard from someone telling it to me on the phone for 6 hours. Oh my God. 6 hours. Electric flow, he was wet. 6 hours, they saw on the camera the entire night when they were here in New York, they never dream that while they're enjoying and drinking and dancing, their lovely son, 26 years old, such a sweet boy— I've been a few times over the years in that community— basically went to heaven. Very sad. That's what I'm saying. You can be successful, you can have everything, in one minute everything turns around. Yesterday I spoke in Great great neck. I had a lot of people there. Baruch Hashem, it was packed. The place was bigger than this huge shul. How big it was? Maybe 200 people. And in the end, after everyone finished to talk to me, then one man came and he said to me that his son, Loa Lenu, died 2 years ago. And the pain is unbearable. He doesn't have one minute in his life of rest. You know how it is, you feel guilty, you lose a child, "Maybe I could have done things different." The Yetzer Hara, the Satan, is taking advantage of your misery. He keeps coming to tell you it's your fault, especially to the wife, "It's your fault that your son died. If you would raise him in a different way, pray, maybe he wouldn't touch drugs, maybe he wouldn't be depressed, maybe, you know, all kinds of things. And then the person goes for the next of his life, 10, 20, 30 years, he doesn't have one minute of joy, not one smile in 40 years, not one moment of happiness, constantly, he doesn't care if stocks went up, doesn't care. He got a great news in the mail from the government, doesn't care. Anything you can think of, he doesn't care anymore. Once he took the joy of a person in life, he has no life. No life whatsoever. Once he has no life, he doesn't even enjoy his own children. Those who survived, let's say one died. Imagine the test that they had to go through in the Holocaust, that they were killing their kids in front of their their eyes. Or in October 7th when Hamas murdered some of the kids in front of their parents. Or parents in front of the kids. Or wife in front of the husband. Or the other way around. Imagine this. You know, when they came out now, the last 20 hostages, they told that every time Ben-Gvir, the minister that's in charge of all the Hamas jails. Every time Ben-Gvir made new decrees to make the life of these murderers harder in jail, they used to take them and beat them up nonstop. This is for Ben-Gvir. Boom, boom. He's torturing our hostages, meaning murderers, not hostages. They call that, you know, prisoners, hostages. And while he doesn't give them the free hot pitas that they were used to, and olive oil, and hummus, and baghamin, and soccer games, and TV— those days are over from October 7th. That's it. Their conditions now is a lot worse now. The food is not as good. There's no TV, no radio, no games, No cards. There are more murderers in one room before the others, like a suite. Before, the Israelis were so weak, they thought the more we will be nice to them and try not to get them angry, more quiet we're going to have. And the Arabs used to have a leader there. They have its ranks, you know. Whoa, he's the— oldest in Hamas, many years, he has a resume. So he's the leader of the prisoners. He negotiates with the guards of the jail, with the authority. We want this, we want that. If you don't give us that, we're going to strike, we don't eat, we'll break, we burn. And they keep surrendering to him. All of a sudden came one tough guy. It's over. Party is over. Who fights him? The Jews, the liberals, the Attorney General, all these lefties. Oh, we have to make sure they get cherries and pineapple and who knows. Give them visitation. Give them visitation? Someone who burned a baby in a microwave to give him visitation? Someone who did something to the mother in front of the children needs visitation? The problem is that when you have such murderers and you put them in jail, that's where the mistake begins. Later they kidnapped Israelis, they have to exchange. They have to release these murderers. They just released 250 of them. 250 people that killed many Israelis, each one of them. They released them and they got the 20 hostages. 20 for 250 murderers. But besides that they got 2,000 other terror activist, not as bad as the 250. The 250 were the worst ones, big monsters like Iqyessi Noir. And what happened? We saw what happened after they released over 1,027 terrorists. What did they do to us in October 7th? We saw what they did to us. And unfortunately, I know, I know, I mean, I don't want to ruin the party. Everyone is happy now. The final last 20 hostages came out. They came out and, you know, and they released some of the bodies. They still have, I think, 12 bodies left. 11 Jewish people and 1 non-Jew. That's right now what they still holding. They say they can find 5 of them. They stole them. They tried them because Trump said, come on, we want to get you, we want to get your weapon. They don't care. They're not going to give the weapon no matter what will happen. In the end, any war we will do with Trump, with United States, the whole world will go, nobody can get them out of there. They are under the ground, they have tunnels, nothing you can do. It's a guerrilla war. There's nothing you can do. And as many of them as you kill in battle, immediately they recruit new ones because Qatar sends money. They pay those terrorists. Qatar and who knows, maybe Turkey and Saudi Arabia, maybe. All these countries are always sponsors of terror. In the end, Rabbi Tov, Hashem put us in such a situation that there's no way out. There's no way out. No way out. Hezbollah went back to power. The Lebanon army government was supposed to dismantle them from their weapons. No. They're afraid of them. So we're going to burn Lebanon. The problem is, you see, with this terror organization, they can care less if you kill their terrorist. Immediately they make a phone call and they send them a new 100 ones coming with a truck. You kill them, they send you another. It's basically worthless. There's really no solution. So now they, the hostages say that every time you say no pitas, boom, they're beating them up. No visitation, boom. No TV, boom. Everything one by one, nonstop torture slaughtering all the prisoners nonstop, all the time, with no mercy whatsoever. No mercy. Let's move on. So Hashem told Noah, take the pure animals, 7 of each, meaning those who are kosher, 7 of each. Those who are non-kosher, 2 of each, male and female. Also from the birds, also from the birds. You know, there's birds that are kosher and birds that are not kosher, right? If the Torah speaks about birds without saying if they're kosher or not, just birds, then, you know, it's— what do we learn from that? We learn from that that they automatically kosher. Why? Because most of the birds are kosher. Some are not. Sometimes the Torah specifies and sometimes it's clear from the text. The question is why from the kosher one you have to bring 7 and from the impure you have to bring only 2, male and female. Why do you need 7? The answer is for sacrifices. 'When you come out, you have to sacrifice to Hashem.' 'It's not so important.' 'That's what's so important right now, to stuff the ark with so many more animals and make it crowded and much harder to operate, just because when I come out of the ark, I have to sacrifice to Hashem?' The answer is yes. 'I don't need your sacrifice. It's for your own good. You need to learn to be a grateful person. If someone did a small favor to you, you have to be grateful to him for the rest of your life. If he did many favors to you, needless to say. If he saved your life, needless to say. If he gave you a chance to be religious and to have a life of eternity, needless to say. So, the idea is it's all about gratefulness. Ungratefulness. And Hashem cannot stand ungrateful people. And sometimes a person does many, many favors to you in life, many hundreds of favors, and then one time he messed up. One time he hurt you. Most people, especially the evil one, the ungrateful one, wipe him out. I have nothing to do with him anymore. That's it. He's not my friend anymore. Why? He helped you for 20 years. Why all of a sudden, oh no, he did something bad to me, he insulted me, I don't want anything to do with him. I gave him money, he didn't pay me on time. But thousands of times he helped you. The nature of a person is very short memory. What you remember today, most likely by tomorrow you begin to forget. You begin to forget. The Gemara asks, how long does forgetfulness take? How quick can it happen? The answer is, while you're speaking. While you did not finish the sentence, you can already forget what you're about to say, what you said. It sounds like a little bit like an exaggeration. No, it's not. Sometimes you begin a sentence, something distracted your mind. What? You look, you saw you have noise, and then a second, you forgot what you're saying. What? Where were we? Right? How many times it happens in a lecture? The speaker is in the middle of a sentence, someone asks a question, he said, "Not now," and he already forgot where he is. How many times it happened to you in a phone call conversation? Meaning, The ability of the brain to forget sometimes can be within speaking. But by women is a little bit different. If you hurt them, they will remember you forever. Sometimes people come for Shalom Bayit, for peace in the family, the wife say, "Oh, you remember what you told me in the wedding of your brother? You forgot what you told me, huh?" This was 25 years ago. My father is a grandfather already, not wedding. Happened, it happened to me. All of a sudden, he doesn't remember the bad words she told him 2 days ago. I promise you. How? Tell me, I heard she insulted you. I don't remember. It was something, I can't tell you. I don't remember. You come to her, tell me, I heard he insulted you in a time, a week after your wedding. 'Already had a fight?' 'Oh yeah,' and she knows every detail and the dates. Also, women are very good with dates. They remember dates. You know, 'This is our anniversary, this is when we got engaged, this is when the boy was born.' Ask a man, 'Tell me all the birthdays of all your sons,' probably doesn't remember any. Ask the wife, she remembers every birthday. Hashem made the women in such a way that they are very good at what they need to be very good with. And the man is very good with what he needs to be very good with. When you want to become a feminist and mix the world and turn men to women and women to men, what happened? The world, not only the people get destroyed, the world gets destroyed. The world is getting destroyed. Everybody is doing his job in a non-perfect way. She wasn't meant for this and he wasn't meant for that. But there's nobody to talk to. I give you an example. If you take a woman and make her a SEAL warrior, a commando, goes with the machine guns, this. Okay, can You can teach her to shoot, to run, to jump in a gym all day. She's almost like a man, very strong. She can even win in a one-on-one battle with a, I don't know, kung fu, whatever you call it. She can knock the men down. They can prove it. It happens. Some women, they know how to fight. But when, God forbid, she falls in the hands of the enemy in a prison and they tie her with handcuffs. What's her biggest nightmare? That they don't do horrible things to her. To prevent something like that, they'll get any secret out of her because she won't be able to live after that. It's worse than a murder. She would rather they shoot her in the head than to do what they want to do, like the Hamas, what they did to the girls. A guy, also it's very difficult for him. They torture him, they beat him up. I don't know, I don't know, I don't know. He faints a few times, they break his bones, and yet he doesn't tell them the secret. They train them in such a way that they won't tell the secret. A woman, even if she's strong physically and they beat her up and all that, and even if she survives the pain, pain, once they go to that thing that they're going to do horrible things to her, immediately she breaks. She wasn't meant to be a soldier. She's not supposed to be there. Hashem said a woman cannot be a witness. A woman cannot be a witness in a Jewish court. If a woman comes to testify, I'm not allowed to listen to it. Why? She can be manipulated by certain things. And not only that, not only that, even when she testifies about herself, she's not loyal according to the Torah. Not because she's a— every woman is a liar, of course not, that's not the case. When you put her on the stand, the lawyer of the people can tear her to pieces and start asking her questions. Breaking spirit. Also, it's disrespect to a Jewish girl. So Hashem cover everything based on the psychology of the man and the psychology of the woman. So now, Rabotai, it's very important, Hashem say, that when you come out of the ark, you learn to be a grateful person, you will use some of these kosher animals to sacrifice. And it's written, "Vayavo nuach el atevam mipnei amabul." The rain started. The people didn't want to let him in, the wicked people, because 120 years he was building the ark, and now he's 600 years old, about to enter the ark. People lived long life back then. Shelach lived 969 years. Adam lived 930 years. Noah, now he lived 950 years. Now he's 600 years old, Noah. He has 3 sons: Shem, Kham and Japheth and their wives. They're about to enter. They made themselves 2 entrances: entrance for men, entrance for women. What for? It's family. Why? You want to live together, you and your 3 sons and your wife and their wives. It's not modest that the wife of your sons will be next to you. She needs to change, she needs, you know, she needs privacy. You make a section for the women and make a section for the men. If you mix them, then no privacy. But it's family. So what? 2 brothers, Their wives have to, they have to be separated. If the wife of Reuben will have to be next to the wife of Shimon, next to the wife of Reuben will be next to Shimon, his brother. That's very normal. It's not, they're not supposed to be isolated over there. Even Noah already understood that. Remember, this is 900 years before Hashem gave us the Torah, but Noah already he knew a lot of Torah because we see he knew how to choose animals based on their purity. You must know the laws of it. You have to know the laws of animals. So we see that Hashem gave him some information even before the Torah was given to us. Rashi says Noah had doubts. He wasn't sure. He didn't have full faith that Hashem really really is going to destroy the world. He didn't have full faith. Why? He only went into the ark when the water left him no choice. The people came first not to let him in, but Hashem sent some lions and they got scared. They said, you're gonna die with us. We now see that you were right. 120 years you warned us. We laughed at you. We abused you, we made fun at you, we tortured you. Every day we pass make fun at you and you keep building with devotions. And now you want to get saved, you just you and your family and we're gonna all die? Yeah, I warned you, you didn't listen. If you would listen and change, we wouldn't have this flood. Or maybe Hashem will tell me make another ark to save the extra 50 righteous people. These people that we just found. You didn't listen, now you pay the price. So the lions scared them away, but Noah still refused to go into the ark. He said, ah, maybe Hashem is just warning. It cannot be, or He's gonna kill millions of people now. Water got to his nose. I had no choice, I had to go in. Meaning, if Hashem told you that He's going to do it and He prepared you for that for 120 years, You're still doubting the last 5 minutes if it's going to happen or not? That's called Ktanea Manah. Tzioi Muna is not strong enough. Not strong enough. You know, in the beginning it says, Noah is a man, tzadik, tamim. Tzadik, tamim. What does it mean? Tzadik is righteous and tamim means complete. Ish tzadik tamim. And now the question is, the question is, when he came out of the ark after the flood, he planted a vineyard, drank wine, became drunk. His son saw him, his son Ham saw him naked. He castrated him because he didn't want him to have more kids. I already have Hashem and Japheth to compete for the inheritance. It's an opportunity to make my father unable to have more kids. He made him, you know, unable and Noah woke up from his wine, he saw what happened and he decided to curse his fourth son. 'You made me unable to have the fourth son. I'm cursing your fourth son.' Who is it? Canaan should be slave to all his brothers. So the question is now, why Noah didn't curse Ham? Why Noah didn't curse Ham? Ham was the one who did it. You know, Ham is the one who did it. When Shem and Japheth saw that Ham said, "Look, our father is sleeping naked in the east," they came, took a cover, and they covered him. They didn't look at him. You're not supposed to look at your father when he's not dressed. So they covered him. They walked in reverse. They covered him. They got reward for it, but he got a curse for it. His fourth son was cursed. Some say that he's the one who called him to tell him that grandpa is laying naked. But once the Torah talks about Noah after the flood, it doesn't say "ish tzadik tamim." It says, "Noah ish adamah." Ish adamah. The man of the land, of the ground. What happened in his studies? We have to know, we have to understand that Hashem was upset with Noah for not praying that all the wicked people will repent, just like Abraham prayed that Sodom will not be destroyed, maybe there are righteous people there, save the righteous people. And Hashem said to him, if there will be righteous people, I said I will save the righteous and the wicked, meaning the wicked will get saved thanks to the righteous. I won't destroy the place. I won't kill righteous and wicked together. The righteous will defend themselves and the wicked. Noah didn't pray. Just told them that Hashem is going to bring a flood, warned them. They made fun and that was it. That was the end of it. He didn't try to talk to them and get to their head and convince them to believe in God and all of that. He did not also pray for them. So we also saw in the Haftarah of the Navi Isaiah, Prophet Isaiah, the Haftarah says that Hashem called the flood "May Noah," the water of Noah. You know, Noah came back in Gilgul of Moshe Rabbeinu. Moshé Rabbeinu said, "Mecheni in ami sifrecha"— erase me from your book. If you want to kill the Jewish nation after what they did, erase me from your book. "Mecheni" is the same letter like "Meinoach." Meinoach, Mecheni, same letter, just different order. Evel, Kain and Evel, Evel also is Moshé. So Evel was reincarnated in Moshe, but we have to say, I guess, that Hevel was reincarnated in Noah and later in Moshe. We come in reincarnations. And what's the correction now? Before, you didn't defend the generation and all of them drowned. Now Moshe learned the lesson and he fights and he doesn't let Hashem wipe out the Jewish people who committed a crime. Vayimach et kol ha'ekum, Hashem erases the entire world. Vayisha'er ach Noach, v'asher itobateva. Noach, what does it mean, vayisha'er ach Noach? Only Noach. 'What does it mean only Noah?' Only Noah means, but he had his family and the animals. What does it mean 'ach Noah'? 'Vayeshaer ach Noah vekol asher ito bat teva.' It means before he used to be 'Noach ish tzadik tamim.' Noah righteous Complete. Now only Noah left. Vayishaerach Noah. Only Noah remained. Why? You cannot call him anymore tzaddik tamim. Why you cannot call him perfect righteous? Because he did not save his generation with him. If you don't deal with saving souls, you have an opportunity to save souls and you don't do it or you don't support it or you interfere with that, there are 3 levels of people. Some people don't do kiruv, don't do, don't support. Some people not only they don't do and they don't support, they also interfere. They do everything they can to prevent it. And then you have people that do kiruv or support kiruv. 3 different levels of people. Those who support saving souls, whether they do it themselves or whether they contribute money for that, they, baruch Hashem, are in a very, very good chance to go to the highest place in the next world. Those who don't do it, they cannot be called righteous. Your brothers are dying and you ignore it. Those who prevent it, they are the worst ones and the most miserable ones. Everything you do in any possible way to interfere with the success of someone that saves souls— you like him, you don't like him, he hurt you, he said something about you, whatever the case was— I prevent him from succeeding in saving God's children, every person that was supposed to be saved and wasn't saved, all his crimes and sins and his children until the end of days goes to your account. Now imagine all these haters online that for 30 years drink my blood, cut me to pieces, make up lies about me, nonstop. Everybody adds more lies. He's a Holocaust denier, he hates autistic kids, all kinds of things. And what happened with him? Every person doesn't know anything from his life. He believes, he thinks he knows, he doesn't understand the concept of what's going on, he doesn't understand what the halacha is what the halacha is not, and he right away, like a fool, murdered the person. Now I wanna tell you something, maybe for today we finish here. I have a little bit sore throat, but I just want you to at least to understand this concept. We spoke about it many times over the years, but it seems to me that people are blocked. When someone comes to you to talk to you gossip about someone else, "Ah, yeah, do you hear? I want to tell you about this guy." I say, "I'm not allowed to listen." So I say, "I'm not allowed to listen." 3 are getting punished. 2 of them is the one who speaks and the one who listens. I don't, I'm not allowed to listen. If he said it before before he told you he wants to say. He already shouted, boom, he said it. I'm not accepting. You have to tell him, "No me caber." I'm not accepting Lashon Hara. Definitely after you heard Lashon Hara, you're not allowed to say it to any human being in the world, not even to your own wife or husband. That's called Olech Rachil, that you're passing the message to someone else. Today with the social media, people click a button, it goes to thousands of people. It's 1,000 times sins from the Torah for Reuven, for Shimon, for Yitzchak, for everyone. It's like you went and told this guy and this guy and thousands of sins. Now each sin of spreading lashon hara, lashon hara means the truth. You say only truth. It's forbidden from the Torah. The Torah say that if you say lashon hara about someone else, Speak about another Jew. It's worse than— it's worse than you to murder someone, is worse than being an idol worshipper, and worse than being with a married woman. All three combined, one lashon hara on the scale worse than you just murder You just worshipped an idol and you just did a Giluy Eretz. 3 different— no, what's special about those 3 sins? They are the only one in the Torah that the Torah say that you have to die if they put a gun to your head. You have to die and not to agree to commit it. Now, some other sins, if they break Shabbat or I kill you, you're allowed to break Shabbat. Spit the Torah or I kill you. You're allowed to spit. Your life is at risk. Steal or I kill you. You're allowed to steal. But bow down to the idol or I kill you. You're not allowed. Shema Yisrael and he kills you. Be with this married woman or I kill you. Not allowed. Kill you. This person or I'll murder you. Not allowed to murder him. Kill me, I'm sorry. Those three on a scale, one lashon hara, it's already worse than all three of them. That's Gemara Meforashet. Lashon hara shakul, equal, like, but that's one lashon hara. Every one to 5,000 people, that's 5,000 2 times those 3 sins. Now, this is speaking, speaking to each other. Now, you know the Gemara says that the Second Temple was destroyed from false, baseless hatred. People spoke against each other, lashon hara. Between you and I, there were a few hundred thousand people living in Israel in those days, 2,000 years ago. Most of them were very righteous, they wouldn't speak lashon hara. Maybe a certain percentage did create, instigate, say. There is another level that when you make up lies, you take something that is true a little bit and you add 5, 6 more lies and make it 10 times worse or 100 times worse. Then the entire thing is considered a lie. That's called motzi shem rachamim. Motzi shevra, defamation of character. You make up lies and the people believe it, and now this person ruined his kosher status, and for that it's called motzi shevra. That's a lot worse than lashon hara. Remember, lashon hara is if you say the truth. That's not permitted according to the Torah. To say lies, it's a lot worse. But This is in the time of the Beit Hamikdash when a person went, spoke to Reuven 15-20 minutes, told him Lashon Hara about someone. He has to go down to find Shimon. I don't know when, the next day, told him 15 minutes, same thing. 5 months, he found 20 people to tell them Lashon Hara. In 5 months. He keeps have to repeat the story. There's no recordings, there's no pressing buttons. So the entire Jewish nation, if you add on the scale how much Lashon Harah they spoke, few millions in a period of time, like few million times altogether, all the people. This guy 3 times, this guy 5 times, this guy 2 times, this guy 10 times. You add everything together, few millions violations of Lashon Harah. Some of them probably motzi shevra, which is But few millions, 10 million, 20, 50, that's just about it. Today, one lashon hara in a blog or in a popular page about someone, I know it goes to 10,000 people. That's one incident, 10,000. If you go in one day what the Jewish people do to each other online, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, all of those things, newspapers. If you combine together all what's going on in one day, I promise you without a doubt that it's a lot more than the entire Lashon Hara that destroyed the Temple of God in one day. There's no doubt whatsoever about it. Now multiply it by years and years and years, billions and trillions and trillions of sinat chinam and destruction, and then we say, Hashem, when we're going to have Beit Hamikdash? For not even 1% of what we're doing today, we lost Beit Hamikdash. And the Gemara says every generation that Beit Hamikdash was not not built in their time, it's kind of like it was destroyed in their time. So every one of us is a destroyer of Beit Hamikdash. Some more, some less. Now, I know a lot of people tell me, the chachamim will never let you say to them Lashon Hara. They won't accept. Now, when someone sends you something and you know it's negative about another Jew, you're not even allowed to play spray. Play. When you press play, that means you agree to hear. Right away you become a murderer, an idolater, and an idol worshiper. Just by listening. And if you transfer, forget about it. You're "machti arabeim," you have no share to the World to Come. That's what happened to a lot of people. And what do they gain? Just, it's just hatred and stupidity. What did they gain? First of all, what a religious person supposed to do on social media all day? Blogs, these, what for? What do you do? You don't have anything to do in life? Cannot learn Torah? Cannot do some positive things? Cannot work and take care of your family? Do something! It's destroy the world. Therefore, I think that the way the world is, we are in a much, much, much bigger danger than the flood in the time of Noah. Much, much bigger. I will finish with the last thing from the parasha, the story of Mikdal Bavel. There was a king named Nimrod, he's the one who threw Avraham Avinu into the fire, he declared himself as God, this Nimrod. And Terach, the father of Avraham, saw that Avraham is rebelling against Nimrod. He doesn't accept him as a god, you know, he doesn't accept him as a god. And as a result of that, Terach was afraid that if they caught Avraham, that he's gonna get into trouble. He snitched on his own son. Nimrod threw Abraham to the furnace. Hashem made a miracle, he didn't get burned. His brother Haran, his brother, he had 3— Abraham had 2 brothers, Nachor and Haran. Abraham, Nachor, and Haran. Haran, he saw that he's the father of Sarah, Iscah. He saw that his brother survived He also thought he's gonna survive, but he died. So what happened after Avraham survived? He had a very good reputation. Wow, he's a man of God among us and all of that. So Nimrod, now Nimrod say, let's, all the people over there in Babylon, they say let's build a tower very, very, very high. That it reach all the way to the sky, or make it solid, strong, that it won't fall in hurricanes. What's the purpose of this building? To go and fight against God. It looks a little bit stupid, no? I mean, today we know a lot about what's going on up there because we have spaceships and airplanes. Back then it was a primitive world. You look at the sky and you see something in blue, but you don't really know what's going on over there besides seeing some clouds and the stars. You don't really know what's happening there. For some reason, they thought, okay, God is there in heaven, we will find him eventually. Right now, we don't see him because it's far, but if we build the building, we'll find him. I don't think that was the case. I really don't think that they were that dumb. I read in one of the books that the whole point of this Babylon Tower was to make a building and put Nimrod in the top. Put a statue of him that from everywhere around people would look, they will be able to see him. Oh, that's our god. That's the idea. And what's the point? The point is you won't tell us what to do. We do whatever we want. Whatever we want to do. That's a declaration of war against Hashem. Today, there are people who declare war against Hashem every week, all these heretics, nonstop. Declaration of war against Hashem. What did Hashem do to them? Change their languages, interfere with their brain. They no longer speak the same same language and turn a third of them into monkeys. One person sent me an email this week, tell me please, Rabbi, the monkeys that we have today are the wicked people that Hashem turned them into monkeys? Or we also had monkeys when Hashem created the animals in the 6th day of the creation when He created all the animals in the last day, did He also create monkeys? And plus Hashem made some people monkeys. Or only the people that Hashem turned into monkeys, they are the monkeys. What do you think the answer is? Huh? Did Hashem create monkeys the same time He created lions and giraffes and all others? Or there was no monkeys and then when the people went into this Babylonian Tower, Hashem turned them into monkeys. Now we have one more species of animals. What do you think? The answer is Hashem created monkeys just like all other animals. Kofim, Kof. But later when the wicked people did what they did, they turned them into monkeys. Now you ask yourself, how come there are so many different monkeys? So many different birds. Noah put only one female and one male. We have thousands today. The answer is evolution, development of the species. How come you have blonde people with blue eyes, black people with black eyes, Chinese people with yellow skin? How do you have all these kind of people? None of them look related to each other. The answer is the air that we breathe in different continents change and affect the DNA. The DNA is being changed based on the air. It's written in the Zohar, 2,000 years ago in the Zohar. That's why, for instance, in Scandinavia everybody blonde with blue eyes. You don't see black people in Scandinavia. Africa, everyone blonde and black. You don't see blonde person in Africa. Chinese are one look-alike, straight hair, skinny, small bodies, you know, yellow skin, very much alike. Jews look like everybody because they were in exile. Here, here, here, they have black Jews, they have blonde Jews, they have Italian Jews, they have Arab Jews. You can see that this theory is very, very logical. I saw once an article that is also proven by science that the air you breathe in different places of the world affect how you look. We can say maybe that it's also affecting how the animals look. Some monkeys became white, some became black, some became gray. Obviously Hashem wanted the world to have a variety of animals. The more animals, the more beautiful the world is. The more plants, the more trees, so many nice things. So Hashem made, I don't know, thousands of flavors. What for? Make 2, 3, and that's it. 5, 10. Why do we need thousands of flavors? So many different foods, so many different things, everything has a unique flavor. And the tongue is has sensors that each one is designed for specific taste. Once you touched it, it does something in the brain. And then some people would say, oh, the world was created with an explosion. So it's enough for today. It's a little bit hard for me to talk. B'ezrat Hashem, we'll see you tomorrow in Brooklyn. Baruch Adonai le'olam. Amen.
