People That Revive The Dead

Rabbi Yosef Mizrachi connects leprosy in Jewish law to evil speech and failure to rebuke others, citing Talmudic sources. He argues that active rebuke is a spiritual obligation that can save souls, and links baseless hatred to the destruction of the Second Temple. He urges listeners to become spiritual first-aid carriers in their communities.

Good evening. This lecture, b'ezrat Hashem, I have today a lot of names because last Thursday I forgot to read the names. And it will be, le'rafuat, my good friend Erez Ben-Sara Mizrahi, had open heart surgery in Israel as we speak today. Still sleeping until the morning. B'ezrat Hashem, will be successful. Le'atzlachat Alexander Shimon ben Avraham. Le'atzlachat Avigail Vadel. To get custody on the child. Also, yeah, I think I covered everyone. Baruch Hashem. Next Monday, there's not going to be a lecture. I'm going to LA on Thursday and I'll be back. The only flight I could find was arriving here Monday late at night. If you would like, we can do it next Wednesday. Is it good to do it instead of Monday? Well, nobody will show up. Who will show up next week on Wednesday? Okay, B'ezrat Hashem. So we're on in 9 days from now. So remember, make yourself a mark in your routine that instead of Monday will be on Wednesday. In general, you should go always on my event calendar on my website and it shows you if the lecture is on and off or not. Sometimes with iPhones they have problems. There's a bug in the iPhone. For whatever reason, sometimes it doesn't show. Can you check now if it shows? You don't have? Because it's very inter— it didn't show today, right? Some kind of a bug with iPhone, the iPhone app. Huh? You don't have iPhone? You buy Android, it was a— my website guy tried to do some resets today. Hopefully will solve the problem. As you all know, we are supposedly, supposedly after the round, after the round of fire with the bloodthirsty Hamas and other Arabs that lives in Israel. If you follow my lectures, unfortunately, I was the only, one of the only ones who never actually lived in illusion when it comes to our relationship with these Ishmaelim in Israel. Because a lot of Israelis are very naive. They thought that there's difference between the Arabs that lives in Israel and to the Arabs that in Hamas. They don't understand they all have the same religion, same goal, same agenda, and they go to the same mosques and learn the same jihad. What? To kill all Jews. That's what the religion is very good at. That's all they talk about. Itbach el Yahud. For them is more important than any other commandments of the Islam to kill the Jews. They're not hiding it. One good thing about the Arabs, they're not hypocrites. They tell you the truth in your face. But the Israeli Arabs is a big shock, and I tell you why it's a big shock. When you go today to a hospital in Israel, almost 50% of the doctors are Arabs. And the nurses, Israeli Arabs with Israeli ID. Now in this fight, they check their Facebook pages, how they call to kill Jews. Your life is in their hand. You go in the operation, they put you in anesthesia. In one little second, they can do something and kill you. No one will ever know. You know, if a doctor wants to kill his patients, It's not that difficult. You have to go into a surgery with one that have an ideology of a Hamas mass murderer that all he thinks about is to kill Jews and he works in Israeli hospitals and it's not one or two, it's thousands. Do you understand what situation we live in? Same thing nurses, same thing. Not everyone is like that, of course. You don't always find everyone is bad. There's always nice people, people who don't want this, people who are happy to live in Israel. Yes. How many? I don't know. But there are. The problem is that you don't know which one is which. That's the problem. What are you going to do? Before you go on surgery, you will start investigating Ahmad if he's pro-Hamas or not? Didn't you see now that thousands of them were going on the streets of Israel shooting at us? Shooting at us with guns. Not just throwing rocks. Throwing rocks is the kids. They were going and shooting at the houses and the cars and shooting at people. Actually, they hit a few people with bullets in the cities of Israel, not in the territories of Hamas over there behind the border. Inside. Imagine here in Queens that they come and shoot at you in the middle of the streets. Not once or twice, hundreds of times. And then what the Israeli police do, they come to all the Jewish people in the city of Lod that have permits to carry guns. The reason they got guns is because they live among them. They knew that one day they may need it for self-defense. And they collect all the guns from the Israelis and they leave the guns by the Arab terrorists who has guns with no permit. So you come to the legal citizens, good people that have no intention to kill anyone, and they got guns for self-defense. You collect all their guns and you leave all the terrorists of the city of Lod and the drug dealers with their guns. Since when the Israeli police became a cooperative system to these Arab citizens? Since when? I was wondering what's going on over here. I said politicians, many of them are lefty traitors. We've been talking about them for thousands of times. The Israeli Supreme Court is the biggest enemy of the Jewish nation in the history of the world. The Israeli Supreme Court, never in history you had a bigger enemy to the Jewish people than the Israeli Supreme Court. I repeat for the third time, never was and will never be an enemy that caused more damage to the Jewish nation and to the Jewish religion than the Israeli Supreme Court. You should know them. They're all 9 or 12, whatever, serious traitors. Every decision they made was against Israel, against the Torah, against religion. Always pro-Hamas, always pro-terrorists, always pro-gay parades, always pro-everything Hashem hates. We will talk about them in a minute. So if the Supreme Court cooperates with Hamas, nothing is new. They've been doing it for 40 years or more. If the reporters on the news will do that, they've been doing it from day one. Always. If the social media leaders would do that, they've been doing it forever. But the Israeli police is people like me and you. It's ordinary Israelis. Most Israelis would still prefer right, not left. Why would they help the Arabs to shoot the Jews in the city of Lod? For 2 days I was wondering why. Usually lately When I have such a question, somehow Hashem answers me and He answers me clearly and very fast. The next day I find out that one of my baalei teshuvah, one of my students, was a policeman in the city of Lod. I say, "How did I not remember this? You told me that years ago." And I say to him, "You are the one who can tell me what's going on over here." He said, "Very simple. No one will tell you what I tell you, but I was inside. All these Arabs that live in the city of Lod, they bribe all the police. They give them salaries on the side to look the other way for their drug trafficking. Drug, selling stolen cars, stolen parts, lots of corruption there. They get tons of money." to help them out in their criminal activity. So they are buddies. He gets paid from Ahmed and Musa and Mustafa. So now he's afraid to lose his income. If he's gonna come to the people that give him money and tell them, "I was sent to collect your guns," you know what's gonna happen. That's it. You no longer get any money. Or, "I'm gonna tell your commander." that you're eating bribe from us for 10 years. We should sit in jail for 20 years. So he's already in his hand. So Ahmed and Musa and Mustafa in the cities of Israel, they run the show. There's no police, they do whatever they want. That's why they don't pay taxes, they build their houses, they don't need permits, nobody ever come to check, they don't need certificate of occupancy. This is what's happening right now in Israel. We have already lost the country to them. Now we just don't know it yet. But many Israelis just realized it in the last 10 days. Unless we finally will wake up and really do what needs to be done, which something inside me tells me that everyone is cold and sleepy. People already talking about restore the— the— what do you call it? Co-live, co-life, co-living, living together, huh? Coexisting. Let's restore the coexisting. Coexisting? Coexist? What are you talking about coexisting? They tell you in your face, we're going to slaughter all of you soon. Their truth came out. They're not hiding it anymore. Today someone sent me an email. You know how people say— it wasn't an email, it was a WhatsApp message. He said, "Hundreds of Arabs are demonstrating right now in a city of such-and-such. They are shouting." We are hurt. We are disturbed. We cannot believe. We are shocked how ungrateful our brothers and sisters can be to the Israeli people and to Israel State. They give us life. They give us universities. They pay for us scholarships to go and become doctors. They gave us freedom. They never raped us. We are equal like Israeli citizen. No other country in the Middle East we have freedom like we have in Israel. We can be judges. We can be lawyers. We sit in a government. We have— we get paid for every child we have from the Israeli government. Everyone who will attack us, immediately the Israeli police will attack them severely. 'How could we have done what we did to the Israelis, betrayed them and be so ungrateful to them?' And then I woke up and realized it was only a dream. That's the message. For a minute I was shocked. I said, 'Maybe there is some hope,' until I got to the last line. Then I woke up and realized it was just a dream. Sad dream. In dreams things look sometimes better. That's the reality, Rabotai. Yesterday, again, the Israeli Supreme Court striked again. You would think they would have a little shame after 11 days that they were murdering us, maybe to be quiet for a month or two. Guess what? They could not wait a day. One day after the ceasefire, the Israeli courts strike again. Until now, every law you make in the Knesset that they don't like, these lefty liberal garbage traitor judges— that's the right title for them— every decision they did not like, they cancel. We cancel that rule that you made in the government. I don't get it. Who is the boss? The Prime Minister? The government? Or the judges? Who controls Israel? Mafia! They took over Israel. They don't ask you. We will decide the rules here, even though they never got elected. Now they made one step even more further. Now they say that even the solid rules of the Israeli constitutions can be cancelled by them. Constitution. Until now, they were cancelling laws that were made a month ago. We don't like it. It's not a fair law. We're cancelling the law. Now they can actually rewrite all the rules that have been already for 67 years, meaning they go one more step to occupy Israel and make it a dictatorship of few Liberal, lefty, enemies of God, enemies of Judaism, friends of Hamas, friends of everything that Hashem hates. That's the reality in Israel right now. So I have a friend, he's a vice president of the biggest kiruv organization in the world. They have a TV channel. They're very, very massive. Their budget is more than 100 million shekels a year. Serious organization. So we've— he happened to be my bal tshuva. My first feeling from when I see Elokim made this guy religious. Today he's controlling such a huge organization worldwide. And we talk every day. Every day we talk about the situation. We have the same ideology, same line. We look at things. Obviously we follow the Torah. Very easy to think alike. And I told him a month or two ago, the only way this dictatorship of these lefty traitors will stop, if 1 million religious people would stand by the Supreme Court for a week and block the entire area of Jerusalem with flag, with torches, and scream from morning to night, schmeiss in their face. They will get a heart attack because they hate every word of Torah. These judges in Mahshimam, they're such enemies of the Torah that you would stand next to them and scream, "Shema Yisrael, Hashem Elokeinu, Hashem Hu HaElokim," they'll go crazy. Nothing they can do. A million people, what are you going to do? What are you going to do? You're going to kill a million people on the streets? And we're not going to move until all of you will go to hell and you never come back to this place. And there's other things that can be done, but you cannot say it in front of a camera. You know? And he said to me, "No, I definitely agree with you, but who's gonna have the courage to lead the revolution?" You see, why we got saved in Chanukah? We were only few hundred, few hundred faithful religious Jews left. All Jews became lefty and Greeks. They all joined the Greek Empire. They went to stadiums that the Greek made. They left their shivot, they became mitiavnim. Judah, Judah Maccabee and his brothers screamed, "Mi la'Hashem elai?" Who is still faithful to Hashem? Join me. How many people came? Few hundred. Who they have to battle? The Greek Empire that occupied the whole world. Every person in the world paid them taxes. They have very strong, massive, organized, brutal, cruel army. They have no mercy on women, children, old people. The torture that they will torture you is beyond words, just like the Iranians today. They had to go and fight this big empire. What were the odds? Zero chance to win. Not 0.1%, zero, zero percent chance to win. So why you go to a war that you don't even have a 1% chance to win? The answer is because I'm a believer and I have a mission in life. What is my mission? To stick to Hashem. What's going to happen beyond that moment? It's not in my hand anymore. Doesn't matter. I'll get killed, I'll get killed. I'll get saved, I'll get saved. Hashem will interfere and make the war for us, beautiful. Hashem won't help us, we'll die. But when we come in front of Hashem, no one will ever claim against us. Why did you die? I gave my life to protect your Torah. I gave my life to fight these Greeks that wanted to convert Judaism into the fake religion. They wanted us to follow their fake gods. I don't have to tell you the Greek mythology, no? I'm sure they already forced it in your brain in college. So you know the god of this, the god of that. That's what they wanted us to do, to leave Judaism. They say you have to write on the horn of your ox, "I have no share in the God of Israel." Once you did that, no one can touch you. You became an official Greek with rights. You had a green card or a Greek card. But that's it, you're one of us. You can run for parliament, you can be in Senate. A lot of the laws and the words in English come from them. Also in the Gemara, they use Greek words like Apichoris. There was one Greek scholar who was anti-principles of Torah. So every time they want to call someone an infidel or a heretic, They use the word Apikores. Apikores means someone who contradicts the principle of Judaism. Contradicts reward and punishment. We have a lot of speakers today on YouTube that are Apikoresim. Don't be impressed by the beard or the black hat that they wear, some of them. They are 100% Apikoresim. And Apikores, you cannot count him as one of the 10 in a Minyan. If you have 9 people, you want to take out the Torah on Shabbat, and the 10th one is one of them, one of those speakers, which I have a list of them, as you probably, most of you already know about it. If you want to include one of them in the 10th, you cannot. You cannot take out the Torah. You cannot say Kaddish. You cannot say Baruch Hu. It counts like you pray by yourself. That's it. Why? Because he's not count as one of the Minyan. Just like if a goy would come, even a nice goy, not an antisemite one, just a non-Jew would come and he wants to be a part of the Minyan. You're not allowed to count him. Nothing personal, he did not join the Jewish nation yet. So you have people that legally consider themselves Jewish, but halachically, according to Jewish halacha, The Torah denounced them and put them in outside isolation, herem, on a ban, that they cannot be counted as Jews until they will change their view and ideology and behaving. As long as they contradict the Torah, contradict the principles, etc., these people are not a part of the Jewish nation. You should also know When the Torah says you have to love your fellow neighbor or friend just like you love yourself, it means what you hate people doing to you, don't do to others. That's what it means. It doesn't mean you have to love your neighbor like you love yourself. Meaning, if, Chas v'Shalom, your son died and you go crazy and you cry, and if your neighbor's son died, God forbid, They don't expect you in Shamayim to cry just as much. They understand it's not your son. Of course it will break your heart, but it's not the same like your own son left, obviously. And it's perfectly normal. So the Torah did not expect you to suffer in a tragedy of your neighbor or friend just like you suffer in your own tragedy. So what did the Torah did expect? The Torah actually expected you that what you don't want people to do to hurt you or to damage you, don't ever do to others. That's what it means, ve'ahavta lere'acha kamocha. Not like some people say, ve'ahavta lere'acha kamocha, like the Americans say. No. Ve'ahavta lere'acha kamocha means you used to love your friend like you love yourself, but not— you're not anymore. Change the meaning of the word. You have to say ve'ahavta. It's a command. Just like ve'ahavta et Hashem Elokei Chabechol levavcha. Not like the Americans say it. The way the Americans say it is totally wrong. They messed up the whole meaning. We have to say ve'ahavta. That's God commanding us to love Him. If you say ve'ahavta et Hashem Elokei Chabechol levavcha, like they teach here in kindergartens and schools, It changed the meaning of the verse that you must love God from this meaning to you and you used to love God, meaning now you don't love him anymore. It becomes a curse. If you don't know how to speak, you mess up the language. You mess up the language, sometimes you're Chas V'Shalom requesting bad things on yourself. You have to know how to speak. You don't know, you learn. Everything in life you learn. So the same thing over here, "ve'av taleh re'achaka mocha." You have an obligation to love your Jewish brothers and sisters like you love yourself, meaning don't do to them what you hate people doing to you. But that's only Shomer Shabbat. Only. Everyone who is not Shomer Shabbat in Shulchan Aruch is not considered a Jew. And you don't have an obligation to love other nations like you love your brothers and sisters. You don't have an obligation to go and hurt them and fight them or disrespect them. You should respect every human being, but you don't have an obligation to love him like your brother, which is perfectly fine. Nobody asked a Chinese guy to love the Arab like he loves his Chinese cousin. It's normal that he would love his own people more than another nation, even among Gentiles. So among Jews, the Torah says you have to love your family, meaning your nation, but only re'achal ha'mitzvot. It's in the Gemara clearly. It's halacha also. Someone that is not your colleague in observing the commandments is not considered a part of the Jewish nation. You don't have an obligation to love him. Someone is mechalel Shabbat, if you spoke lashon hara about him, you got saved. Because if it was Shomer Shabbat, all your mitzvot would go to him. You got lucky that it's not Shomer Shabbat. At least you kept your own mitzvot. Because a chaled Shabbat is considered a non-Jew. You should know the truth. The truth hurts. Nobody likes to say it, but that's what's written. Where is it written? Not in New York Times. Not in someone's Facebook page. It's written in the official Jewish book of law. In a Jewish constitution, which I happen to be a follower of it. I did not write it. If I was the writer of it, then you can argue with me. How dare you say such thing about my cousin who's not Shomer Shabbat? You can argue. I would have to convince you why I wrote it. But since I'm not the writer, I'm only reading to you what's written, your argument is not with me. You have a problem? Go to Rabbi Akiva and Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai and all the Tanaim in the Talmud and ask them based on what they ruled in the Talmud that someone that is not Shomer Shabbat is 100% like a non-Jew. That when the day he dies, you're not allowed to bury him in a Jewish cemetery. That's how bad it is. You have to make a wall between him and the Shomer Shabbat. And if he was a witness in your wedding, you're not married. You have to get married again. Because if Ahmed was a witness in Yom Tov, you understand that you're not married. You need a Jewish witness. And because this guy is not Shomer Shabbat, he cannot be a witness. And hundreds of other things. If he slaughter a cow, $5,000 cow went to the garbage now. It's taref. You're not allowed to eat from it. Even if he use the knife perfectly and smoothen it and check the animal and check the lung. And he used to be religious, so he knows very well how to slaughter Bet Yosef. But now is Mechalel Shabbat. Mechalel Shabbat shchita to nevila. He slaughtered the cow, it counts like the cow died from lightning. You're allowed to eat a cow, dead body of a cow on the street? To cut it now and make a steak out of it? Not allowed, it's nevila. What does the Torah say to do with a cow like that? Throw it to the dogs. You have to throw it to the dogs. Let the dogs eat it. So therefore, if someone slaughter, perfect slaughtering, but he himself mechalel Shabbat, this slaughtering is not kosher meat. Nobody is allowed to eat from it. That's the status of a mechalel Shabbat. And don't let anybody fool you. They don't know, they were kidnapped by the goyim. It's not so simple. You have to know today, even today, most of the solid poskim of gedolei Ador write it in their books. Write it in their own books. Rav Yitzchak Yosef, the Chief Rabbi of Israel, gave a whole speech of it on a video. You can hear it. It's online. What's the status of the Mechalelei Shabbat today? No different than 500 years ago. Everybody knows there is a God. Everybody knows that the Jews got Torah. Every goy knows it. Every Israeli knows it. Everyone knows Shabbat is a special day. They don't know the rules, maybe. Maybe they never learned Torah. Maybe they didn't even have Bar Mitzvah. Yes, but they all see speakers, CDs, articles, shows, movies, even in Hollywood speaks about Charedim and Hasidim. Shows their lifestyle. Everybody knows today there is such a thing, the chosen people. If the goyim knows it, definitely these Israelis and other Jews knows it. They just don't want to come and learn. They're not interested. So other people who came to learn became baalei teshuvah. Why you didn't come? You should have done what they did. You did not do. You're responsible for the consequences of your action. I want to tell you something. My doctor told me an interesting story. There is one Jew who married a non-Jewish woman and has two kids. These two kids, one of them is 5 years old. What are they according to the Torah? These two kids, what are they? Non-Jewish. There's no such thing half a Jew. Like some people say, "I'm half Jewish." There's no such thing. This expression is an illegal expression. You either 100% Jewish or 0% Jewish. There's no such thing half Jew. So therefore, if your mother is Jewish, regardless of who your father is, you're always going to be a Jew. 100% born a Jew with a Jewish soul. You can lose your Jewish identity by your behaving as I just described, but you're born with a Jewish soul. And if your mother was not Jewish, regardless who your father is— your father could be a Jew, could be Kohen, could be whatever it is, could be a rabbi— if your mother is not Jewish, you are not Jewish, and it doesn't matter who the father is. So it goes after the mother. Mother is Jewish, Hashem puts a Jewish soul in the body. Mother is not Jewish, a non-Jewish soul goes into the body. That's it. If you remember my film, Life After Death, Over there I spoke for about 10-15 minutes about people that remember their past life. You have millions of people like this in the world that even without hypnotizing them, without hypnosis, you don't have to do regression to bring them back in time like with regular people. They remember their past life in details with names and locations with no hypnosis. Usually the younger they are, the more they remember. The older they get, they forget after many years. But when they're young, like 2, 3, 4, 5, they remember very much in details. And innocently they describe their life. Some parents think, ah, they have imagination, who knows where they get these ideas from. But those who know about reincarnation know nothing here is imagination. So now, the father is a Jew, the mother is a non-Jewish woman and she apparently has temper. Aggressive and angry woman. So the doctor said to me that she screamed at this child, 5 years old. And the child told her in front of him and this doctor is my balshuva so he learns He listened to a lot of my lectures, he knows very well about this topic. He was listening to the conversation. He said to her, "I don't like you, I like my other mommy more. She wasn't yelling at me like you. I want to go back to my other house. I want to go back to my mommy and put the things that we put on the tree." Christmas tree. He's describing Christmas, this boy. You know? So, what do you see? His father is Jewish, the mother is not Jewish. This kid in his past life was not Jewish. Non-Jews being reincarnated as non-Jews. And Jews are being reincarnated as Jews. So even in his past life, he remembers in details his mother's name, His big house, he said that they had big house. They had a big house and they used to put things on the tree, all kinds of nice things on the tree and got gifts. To just show you what the Torah say, it's not open for negotiation. 100%. So let's move on. B'ezrat Hashem, this past Shabbat, We read the longest parasha of the Torah, Parashat Naso. How many verses it has? 176 verses. Which masechet in the Gemara is the longest? Masechet Baba Batra. How many pages it has? 176. Which chapter in Tehillim is the longest? Huh? Very good. People remember those stuff here. 119. How many verses it has? 176. Very interesting how Hashem made it like that. Longest Parsha in the Torah, 176. Longest in Gemara 176, longest in Tehillim 176. The parasha begins, "Ve'ishet kodasha lo'iyu." What's "kodashim"? Sacrifices you bring that are holy. When you bring a sacrifice to Beit Hamikdash after you contributed it, it's yours? It's not yours anymore. Once you're done, you go home. You cannot ask for it back. Slaughter it, they sacrifice it, they burn it. Some of it, they eat it. It's different sacrifices. The Torah says in chapter 5, verse 10, in this parasha, the kodashim will always be yours. Even you left it in the Beit Hamikdash and you went home. This pasuk is basically giving us a hint. What is the hint? One of the principles of Avodat Hashem. One of the principles of Judaism in life, of the human being in his world. Meaning, Whatever you have in your position right now, it's not necessarily yours. Yes, legally it's yours. Nobody can take it. If someone will take it from you, it's stealing. But what happens if the king wants to confiscate it? He sends his soldiers to you or the police and they grab it, or the FBI. In one second they can freeze all your accounts. Happens to thousands of people. If the government wants to freeze your assets and take it away from you, or the court, in one second they can take everything you have. That's it. There's nothing you can do. Even a corrupted cop or corrupted FBI investigator, if his eyes is on your property or something that you have or your bank account, he can make up a story and say— be a false witness that you did such and such. Can put drugs in your stuff. And from that moment on, you get arrested and he frees your account. He can steal all your money if he's corrupted. It happens to one Persian guy from Great Neck. Corrupted cops robbed his jewelry store. 6 cops came in and cleaned all the diamonds and jewelry and put him in jail. And he was in jail in the same room with whom? 6 months he was arrested in the same room. Who was his roommate? The guy told me the story himself. He says, "One thing, they made a false accusation against me, money laundering, this, that, stolen jewelry, all baloney. They made it up." Later they caught those cops, corrupted cops. It was all over the news. But they never returned him the jewelry, millions of dollars of diamonds and gold. They took it. They did not make them return the stolen goods. He went to jail, lawyers cost him hundreds of thousands of dollars. He had to sell his house in Great Neck, get a lawyer, go to court, fight them. In the meantime, he's in jail. 6 months he was in jail with the worst monster on earth in the whole world. Who was it? The head of the Italian mafia, the mass murderer, gangster, no heart human being. Who? John Gotti. He told me, from all the tragedy that I had to go through, that was the biggest nightmare. Living 6 months with this person shaking from morning to night if he's gonna choke me in the middle of my sleep. I cannot snow, I cannot move, I cannot climb on a bed when he's there. He's basically made me a slave. And if you're gonna answer him, the next thing your wife and children will be dead. You're not in the liberty to even talk. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. 6 months with a Satan in your room. Imagine how hell is going to be. For 500 years. If in your life you can see something like this, someone gets such a punishment, just imagine the punishments in the next world as the Zohar and the Gemara describe them. If you see in your own eyes what can happen to a person, and that person was not an evil person, it wasn't a Rashash, shomer Shabbat, religious, not maybe enough, but religious. And he got such a punishment. In the end, they found out it was all false accusation. They released him, but he lost everything he had. How do I know the story? I was invited to give a lecture in his house after he was released. And I told him, "Wow, Baruch Hashem, you have a beautiful home." He said, "It's not our house. You should have seen our real house that we lost." 'Oh, you lost? What happened?' Then he told me the whole story. 'This one is rent. Give us a blessing that we can save enough money to buy another house.' It was like 20 years ago. This lecture was there when I made it. But this is just to show you that whatever you have, you can have it from now until the next minute. You don't know what's next. You don't know what's next. How many Jewish people own buildings in Manhattan. A year and 2 months ago, each one of them was worth $200-300 million on the paper. They own 20 buildings. In this building, they have $5 million, and this $15 million, and this $30 million, and this $50 million. They have equity. The rest is mortgage. They have rents coming in from thousands of tenants. They have big management company that runs their assets. They live like kings in the most expensive mansions here in New York, $20, $30 million homes. They spend hundreds of thousands of dollars a month in their luxurious lifestyle. All of a sudden, Corona came. All the tenants in one shot stopped to pay rent. 14 months. Try, try to imagine what just happened to these people. First of all, all their value fell down 40% right away because of the riots of Manhattan and the corona and what happened in last year. So whatever equity they had was all erased on all buildings. They don't have a penny, but they have bills. Their bills is not your bill and my bill. They have $100,000 mandatory bills. They have to pay on this vacation home and then another house and a house in Israel and 10 cars and offices that they rent and private chauffeur and 5 cleaning ladies. This is mandatory expenses. And in one shot, nothing comes in and tons of expenses continue as usual. From being a multi-multi-millionaire or a billionaire, they became more poor than a bachur yeshiva. One of them I know personally that made fun at the bachur yeshiva. Now the bachur yeshiva that he made fun at him few years ago is wealthier than him with his Bentley. Drives a nice $350,000 Bentley. Soon it's going to be taken. With his Bentley and a $50,000 watch, the bachur yeshiva is wealthier than him. He has no debt. He's in zero balance. Zero balance. That's his balance. Zero. This guy is in a negative $50 million. Where is he going to start? So you see that what you have in your hand could be an illusion. What's yours for eternity? What you give to others. Charity. Remember, every time you write a check, every time you go on Zelle Quick Pay or on Venmo, on Cash App and all these, PayPal, whatever, or you write a check or you wire or whatever you do to a good cause, to talmidim that sits and learn Torah, to do issachar isvulun with bachur, that sits and learns, to sponsor CDs, USBs, books, bringing people to lectures, organizing seminars, whatever things that Hashem likes. Whatever money you send will be yours for eternity. This money can never ever be used. It's yours for eternity. There is no way to lose it. The FBI cannot take it. The police cannot take it. The Satan cannot touch it. Your competitors cannot touch it. Nobody can eat it up. Everything else you have right now, right now is in your hand. Tomorrow your child will eat it up. I told you 500 times, yes. 500 times. Everyone who make other people give It's count like they gave. You convince your friends to give, you convince your brother or sister or whatever the case is, whatever they give, it count in Shamayim you gave. Why? Hashem wanted to give the poor people an equal opportunity to buy mitzvot, not just the rich. For the rich is very easy, they write a lot of checks, keep giving, giving. I know one guy like this in Monsey. Him and his brother own buildings in London. Big ones. All their income goes to sponsor 10 big yeshivot in Israel. They pay all the 10 yeshivot, to all the Avrechim. 1,000 Avrechim gets a salary from them. If you see how they live in Monsey, I should take you on a tour to look at their house. One of them lives in Monsey, I don't know where the other one lives. I will show you his house. A taxi driver here in Queens lives in a better house than him. He has buildings, big, big buildings in Europe. All the incomes go to sponsor ten yeshivot. And he lives the most simple possible way. Very, very inexpensive car. Nothing luxury in his house. Unbelievable, much unbelievable. And this is people that have tens or hundreds of millions of dollars, property, tons of money, but they don't use it. Nothing. They don't fly business class, they don't have expensive watches, they don't buy expensive cars, they don't buy vacation homes. Then, you know, I'll give you an example. One time There was a husband and wife with a child that had cancer. Lo alenu. They told them you have to go to America. I think in Philadelphia there is a center for this kind of disease. You have to be in America between 6 to 12 months. This is a poor couple, poor religious couple. They don't have a penny. To come to live in New York, you need to rent a house with your children, put them in yeshiva. You need minimum $100,000 to rent a place, to pay for your shiva, to pay for food, for the airfare, all the rides back and forth every day. Minimum $100,000. Who do you think paid it all? This man. He rent for them a nice house a few blocks away from him in Monsey. Paid the rent, paid the doctor fees, paid everything. He lives the most simple way. They actually lived in a rented house that is much nicer than his. He rent them a much nicer house than his own house. This is what Hashem meant when he spoke about a real Baal Chesed. That understand that this world is a blink of the eye. Before you realize it will be over and the only thing you can take with you is what you gave others. I'll give you a few examples of what I'm talking about. Chazal talking about— we spoke about it in Shavuot, but there was no camera. So maybe I'll repeat some of what I spoke about. Chazal spoke about Midrash Ruth. Midrash Raba on Megillat Ruth, chapter 2, verse 14. The Gemara says, Megillah zo, this Megillah, en va, there is no, there's nothing in it. What? No Tumah velotara, no purity laws, no impurity laws. Lo issur v'lo eter. Nothing is forbidden, nothing is permitted. What we going to learn from this scroll, from this Megillat Ruth? What is the purpose of it? What was it written for? To tell us history? What was the purpose of writing Megillat Ruth? Megillat Esther is to publish the miracle of Hashem. And Purim. All the other Megillot, Shir Hashirim, everything has a purpose. What's the purpose of this Megillat Ruth? The Gemara says, what was it written for? Ela leilam decha, for one purpose, to teach you the huge reward of gomlei chasadim. Of kind, generous people to teach you their huge reward. Who can raise his hand and tell me where in the Megillah you learn the huge reward of someone who is b'al chesed and kind and a giver? Where exactly in the Megillah you learn it? Let's save time. The first The first kind person in the Megillah is Ruth. That's why a lot of converts, their name is Ruth. Why? Because the Bedouin, the rabbis suggest this name as a top priority. Why? The most impressive female convert in history was Ruth. In the history of the world. So what's the story? She married an important Jew, Machlon. Machlon and Kilion married Ruth and Orpah, and their father was Gdolador. Two sons of the highest authority. Of Torah ended up marrying non-Jewish women. How can it be? How can something like this be? The answer is Rabotai, Eli Melech saw business is bad in Israel. Business is bad. Starvation. He can't get normal food. He picked up all his wealth. And moved to overseas. His sons, after years, they lived in isolation, there's no Jewish community. They married two goyot, Ruth and Orpah. What happened to them? All three of them died. This Elimelech died, Machlon and Kilion. Hashem took all three of them. Now, Naomi and Ruth are widows from a Jew. You cannot be married to a Jew. If you're a non-Jewish woman, doesn't matter, you can marry as much as you want in a court here. In Shamayim, you're not considered married. So if he dies, you're not really a widow. Or if he divorces you in a court of Manhattan, you're not really a divorcee. 'Cause technically you never been married. And he never been married. So for instance, if he left her and went and married a Jewish woman, it's count in shamayim like he's married for the first time. And if she went and left him and marry a goy, it's count in shamayim that this goya is married for the first time. 'Cause the marriage between a Jew and a non-Jew never stick. It's against the rules of Hashem. That's why it's not legal. So there is no marriage like this. You can live in illusion, but it won't help you. So what happened after they died? They now single. So Ruth and Naomi decides to go to Eretz Israel. Naomi is the wife of Elimelech. She's the Rebbetzin. She was very wealthy woman. Her husband was the richest guy in Israel. Everybody around him was poor. He did not want to live among the poor people. He decided to move out. So after he died and his two sons died, now we have three women here. Naomi and her supposedly two sister-in-law, Ruth and Orpah. So Naomi decides to go to Israel and Ruth comes and says, "I would like to join you on your journey." What? What for? Naomi is penniless. She lost all her wealth. Her husband died. Everything is gone. Hashem took away everything. What incentive she has to go with a widow, with her mother-in-law, and she has nothing to give her? She can stay in her own country and marry and start a new life. But obviously, it's for the sake of heaven. She said to her, I would like to come with you. She can't make money. Naomi is completely poor. She won't have any status. And at that time, at that time, she can't even convert according to their understanding. She cannot convert. Why she cannot convert? Because it's written in the Torah, "Lo yavo Ammoni u'Moavi b'kal Hashem." I don't want goyim from these two nations, Ammon and Moab, to join my Jewish nation. Why? Because they are ungrateful people. I do not want ungrateful people to join my nation. They have a ban. They cannot convert. Later, we're going to find out with the help of Chazal that what the Torah meant, "Lo yavo amoni umoavi b'kal Hashem," it's only for the male. It does not apply for females from that nation. Why? Because why Hashem was angry at the goyim? When the Jews passed through their land, they should have run and given them some water and bread. "Come, let us give you some food and water." Why? Because 10 generations ago, your grandfather Abraham saved our grandfather Lot, which was his nephew, and he saved him from the kings who captured him. Meaning, without your grandfather Abraham the Jew, we would not have life. So we are so grateful to you 'The minimum we can do is offer you some bread and water.' Since they did not run to do it, Hashem put an X on them for eternity. They can never convert to Judaism, not one of them. So why it does not include the female? Because it's not modest for a woman to come out to the street with bread and drink and offer it to men that she doesn't know. "Hey, excuse me, Itzik. I made you challah." "What's your name?" "Christine." "What's your name?" "Itzik." "Where are you from?" That's how it starts. "You want some more water? Maybe you want to come inside? Maybe I'll make you something a little bit more delicious than this. I'm sorry, it's only bread." When a woman offers food for men, That's already a date. You know the joke in America? The way to a man's heart goes through his stomach. Meaning if you cook and you invest and you make a nice meal, something happens. By the way, it's not only between male and female when they eat together that it creates connection. Even in business, you want a good customer to buy a lot from you? Take him to a good restaurant, stuff him with some good meat and good wine, let him be great feeling and say, "Okay, Joe, let's talk business. What do you want? Sign here." "What did I sign for?" "1 million bags you're ordering." "No problem, good luck." Take him to a bagel store, he will only order 50 bags. Don't take him to any store. I don't want to tell you what's going to happen. That's the way it is, Rabotai. So obviously, because Hashem cannot be angry at the non-Jewish female for not coming and offering food to the men, because at that time the goyot used to be very modest, not like today. Today the whole world is not modest. I put on my Facebook page 2 days ago a film that someone sent me. You send it to me? You saw it, right? United States, I think was Chicago. Well, France, I'm sorry. France, Paris. France, France! Not a Christian fanatic city, Paris! Paris, the heart of the lack of modesty of the world. That's where all the terrible things comes out to the world. Paris, 1895. Video in colors. Now they have a software, it restores film from the past in colors. Unbelievable. They have a video of the Chafetz Chaim, real Chafetz Chaim walking with his students. So a video in Paris with the carriages, with the horses and few trains and hundreds of people walking in the streets of Paris 125 years ago. And of course All the women with wedding gowns wider than the Aron Kodesh behind me. She won't be able to walk in this door with her dress. That's how wide it is and modest. Covered from head to toe with hats. All the goyot were covering their hair and their face with a net. And umbrella in case somebody is looking. They did not think to buy a fancy wig. "Rabbi, I made a Neder. I would not wear my wig on Shabbos." After 20 years, she's by a lot too far. Finally, she agreed to put a hat one day a week. And Christina and Sandra and whatever all their names, they're in Paris. Paris. What happened with them? Complete modesty. This is what it used to be. Today, unfortunately, is a different world. But you see that a woman that dressed so nice and she's so conservative, she would not run to strangers to offer them food in the street, right? That's not class. That's why there is no demand from this goyot. That's why Ruth can convert. She can convert to Judaism. Tov. But at that time she doesn't know. The rule is nobody convert Ammon and Moab. Male, female, don't talk to me about them. Hashem does not want these nations. We will not convert them. Tov. So why is she going to Israel? She's going to be the only goy among million people there? She cannot marry anyone. She's going to stay a widow for the rest of her life just to be with Naomi. Such a sacrifice. Why did she go? Chessed. Let me help you, you're an old woman. I'm not sending you alone. You used to be my mother-in-law, in her mind. I'm not leaving you alone. Orpah also said, okay, in that case, I will also join you. She's saying to them, "No, no, go, go, go back. Have your own life. What do you need with an old woman like me?" Orpah went back. Who came out of her? Goliath. Goliath, the Philistine. Goliath. Goliath. And Ruth decided to stick to Naomi. So she comes with her to Israel. They arrive to which city? Which city? Bethlehem. Why the Arabs stole it from us 3,000 years ago? We were already there. You're occupying us. Occupied land. Occupied from a nation that didn't exist until 50 years ago. Very interesting. A nation that lived in Israel 3,000 years ago occupied the land from a nation that was just invented 50 years ago. That has no history. No anthem, no flag, no museums, no history books. Nothing. Even their name is fake. Its name after Palestinians. Nothing to do with Arabs, this name. And they can't even say Palestinians. They can't say Palestine because an Arab cannot say P. So they say Balestine. So do you imagine that an Arab will call himself by a name he cannot ever pronounce because he doesn't have in his alphabet the letter P? Huh? It's like Americans call themselves Haha. They can't say ha, right? They can't say Mizrahi. It's either Mizrahi or Mizrachi or Mizrahi. There's a lot of different versions in America, but there is no— they can't say Chabad, they say Chabad. Chabad, right? So since they cannot say ha, imagine the American would want to change their name to from Steve to Jorge. What's your name? Used to be Steve, but now it's Jorge. It would take him a year to say the name. Doesn't make sense that he would choose such a name that doesn't have it in his alphabet, no? So you see, it's a scam. Do you think anyone in the world doesn't know it's a scam? They all know it. But they cooperate with that, you know why? Because it serves their purpose. To hurt the Jews. The world is divided to half and half. Half of the goyim love and respect Jews and wish them well, more or less. And half hates them such hatred that they will be very happy to see them all get destroyed. So that's why you hear, you hear, what's his name, this guy, Glenn Beck, Glenn Beck. Speaks better than a rabbi, this guy. Christian guy speaks. And then you see Geraldo Rivera. [FOREIGN LANGUAGE] Nazi, right? He's a Jew, by the way. Can you believe it? This anti-Semite Nazi is a Jew. Geraldo Rivera. And Glenn Beck is a goy. Donald Trump is a goy. Bernie Sanders is a Jew. Olam afuch. The biggest enemies of Hashem and the Jewish people happen to be Jews. Erev Rav. Like the Zohar say. Shomer. Shomer. I can give you a list of 500 of them. Imach shiman vezikham. All of them. The biggest enemies of the world and of Hashem and of the Jewish people are these liberal lefties. And then you have all kinds of goyim who are million times better than them. Who would you rather be the Prime Minister of Israel? Bibi or Donald Trump? If today there was an election and Trump decided to make Aliyah, I would make 500 lectures to convince the whole Israel to vote for him. Or Rudy Giuliani or anyone of these goyim. They're much better to Israel than anyone who sits there in the Knesset besides 2 or 3. 2 or 3 good ones in the Knesset, that's it. Just about it. You don't— you can't find common sense anymore in the world. So, listen, this story ends beautiful. Have another 2 minutes patience. So she comes with her to Israel. No food, hunger. She needs to go and collect now some wheat. In the field. Maybe they can make a little bread to eat. They don't expect sushi and not spaghetti and not pizza and not falafel, not anything. Just maybe a little dough that we can make bread not to die, to eat one half a pita a day. That's it, just to survive. So she go and collect, collect wheat. Then you take them, you grind them, and you make bread. Boaz is the leader of Israel. He's a very old man, very old man. Has 60 kids. 60 kids came out of him. And he's the head of the Sanhedrin. Meaning the chief rabbi. His uncle— who was his uncle? Who was Boaz's uncle? Elimelech, the father of Mahlon and Kilion, the husband of Naomi. Boaz had a huge embarrassment that his uncle took his wealth and fled Israel. Big embarrassment. Later, the news came that his two sons married non-Jewish women, which was the end of the world in those days. There was no 70% intermarriage rate. So if someone would marry a non-Jew in those days, that had to be a massive tragedy. Like everyone would be extremely shocked, especially two sons of a rabbi. Even today it's a big shock. So his uncle was Elimelech who abandoned Israel in a time of trouble, and instead of feeding the poor in Bethlehem, the poor people of Bethlehem, he was worried about his money. And he say, if I will stay here, a lot of poor people would knock on my door and I'm gonna be forced to give them money, money, money, money. They starve, they are dying. Let me run away from here that I should not see the hungry people. Why should I live in such a poverty place? Let me move to Beverly Hills. I can afford it. So he went out. Not only that, he went to where? Where did he go? To Moab. To Moab. It's just like Israeli moved to Germany. There's thousands of them after the Holocaust. The Germans killed their grandparents and some of these Ashkenazi Israelis, while the blood of their grandparents is still bubbling, bubbling on the ground, move to live in Berlin. No other place, Berlin. Where they burned their own grandparents and uncles and all of them. So that's where they go, to Moab, place that Hashem said, "I don't want to hear about this goyim. Don't want them to convert." To there he moved. Not only that, Boaz is now alone. His uncle could have helped him a lot. He's the chief rabbi. He could have used a good sponsor. If you have someone wealthy behind you, you can do a lot of good things. So he's alone now. So what does he do? All day cry to Hashem that will give him enough to feed all these poor people. And he has a field with wheat, and they come and he gives them some wheat to each one of them, few of them, that they should survive another day. And all of a sudden, Boaz come to the field and what does he see? This Goya. He never saw her before. But he sees that she has class. She's very modest. When she bend down, she do not bend down in a not modest way. She bend down only with her legs. So the whole dress cover her completely. Not like this. She just fold her legs, not her back. And she collects from the side like this. Why? She doesn't want men behind to look at her. That's a class of a modest woman. But modest or not, how do you dare to collect wheat in my field when I'm collecting them one by one to give it to my own people? Meaning, what are you doing here? Right? Somebody else will get very angry. Excuse me! 'Excuse me, who are you?' 'I'm sorry, my name is Ruth.' 'Where are you from?' 'I come from Berlin.' 'What? What are you doing here?' 'I'm hungry, so I'm collecting some wheat.' 'Don't you think you have chutzpah here? It's my field over here, you're collecting. Who told you to come here? Go back to your country, they're rich over there.' Not only did he not do that, He was extremely nice to her. He comes and he say to her, "Allo, shamat biti, al tilkhili kote besadeacher." Don't go to another field, you can take from here. Stick to my own girls over here. Right? When they cut, follow them. I also told the boys not to bother you. That whatever you need, they should give to you, and they also will get some water from the wells and give you something to drink. Very nice. Not only that, he said to her, please come over. And he said to her, since you arrived here, I would like to tell you one halacha. Although people from your nation are not allowed to convert to Judaism, but it's only the men. Women are allowed. And he explained to her what I just told you a minute ago, why women are allowed. So if you would like to convert, you can start learning and we will help you to convert and join our nation. What a nice hospitality, no? Baruch Hashem. So after that, he gave her some wheat, you know, and she was full and she had extra and she went and gave to to Naomi. And what did he give her? It's very interesting. Two branches of wheat inside vinegar. I guess they used to have something supposedly delicious putting the wheat in vinegar. And he's very nice with her. The Midrash says, listen now carefully, if Reuben would know that HaKadosh Baruch Hu would write in the Torah about him that he saved Yosef, for telling the brother not to kill him, right? He would grab Yosef on his shoulders and run and bring him into his father before they sell him to the goyim. He would be so excited that Hashem wrote about what he did in the Torah. He would do it correctly, not half a job. If Aaron would know That Aaron, the brother of Moshe, would know that HaKadosh Baruch Hu wrote in the Torah about him. That he will be happy in his heart that Moshe was chosen to be the leader and go to Pharaoh. Aaron will make a party, would run in the street with music. Why are you dancing, Aaron? My brother Moshe was elected to be the leader even though he's 3 years younger than me. I'm so happy for him. He would make a big party. But he didn't know that Hashem is going to write this in the Torah. So Hashem had to tell Moshe, trust me, he's happy. He would make a big show. If Boaz would know that it would be written in the Tanakh that he gave her, he was nice to her and he gave her two branches of wheat. He would give her carriages full of delicious food. If it's already written in the Book of God, I might as well make it sound much better than 2 branches of wheat with some vinegar. No, it's a little bit embarrassing. Right? If before the Torah was given, one of us was alive, And a poor man would come and cry to us that he has to marry his daughter. And we, "With how much you need?" "I need $20,000, I'm short." And we would give him $1,000. "Wow, thank you." Kiss your hand, you feel so great. If you knew that Hashem is about to write in the Torah that you gave him $1,000 and you helped him 5% in his need for the wedding, 5%. What would you do? Give him the whole 20 and say, "Take an extra 10 to help the couple to buy some furniture later on." Right? Because it's going to be in a Torah, I might as well make a good impression. What is this, only 1,000? Right? Let me ask you a question. Don't you think it's a little bit awkward what I just told you? This is written by Chazal. That's what the Midrash says. Vayikra Rabbah, Midrash Rabbah. What are they saying? That Aaron wants publicity? That Boaz wants publicity? That all these people, they want publicity? If they knew they're gonna get publicity for that, they would give a lot more. Similar to the people in a synagogue. When you sell the Aliyot on Shabbat, everyone is generous. 500! $1,000, $15,000, $2,000, $5,000, $20,000. Come to the synagogue and say, "Rabotai, there are in your drawer, there are notes, you know, like stamps. Each one of them has an amount, $500, $100, $1,000, $5,000. Your name is already written in the envelope. Please take one of the of the cards with the amount that you would like to donate. Put it inside the envelope, seal it, and give it to us after Shabbat. The donations each Shabbat will be maximum 10% of what they are because it's anonymously. Since nobody here, why would I give $1,000? Let me give $50. Nobody here is going to clap, "Hazakubaruch, hazakubaruch." One time I was in shul, 15 minutes after the person came down from reading in the Torah, everybody, "Hatzakubaruch!" "Wow, he didn't get married, he only got aliyah in the Torah." "Hatzakubaruch! Hatzakubaruch!" "Let us listen to the Torah!" So much noise. Unbelievable. Something here a little bit strange, don't you think? There is a reason for it. If we would come to Boaz and say to him, "Boaz, you live very long life. What do you do in such long life? You live 3 times more than an average person. Can you write your biography?" Boaz would write in his biography all the most important things he did in his lifetime. He learned in yeshiva when he was a kid, then later he moved to a different yeshiva and another yeshiva. He learned Torah with this rabbi and with that rabbi and he got married and he learned later on when he was married and he became a big talmid chacham and he started to give shiurim and he taught a lot of students and now baruch Hashem he has many, many students. Then he became famous. And then people started to come to him as a mentor because they look for his advice until he became the leader of Israel, the head of the Sanhedrin. That would be more or less his biography, no? In this biography, do you think Boaz would write that one time a goyah showed up from Moab to his field and she was picking up some wheat and he gave her 2 wheat with vinegar, say, "Here, you should take. Also go to my boys, they'll give you a little bit water." Will he write this in his biography? You're out of your mind. How would I mention even something? A week later, he won't remember it. What if I tell you that this moment was the most significant moment in his entire life? The whole history of the world changed from these two weeks. This was one of the most important moments in the history of the world. Aye, aye, aye. So if we come to Aaron and say to him, Aaron, write your biography. So Aaron loved peace, make peace, bringing people close to the Torah. He has wonderful midot. His two sons died, didn't make a beep, didn't question Hashem. Fantastic human being. How much peace he made in the world? Chazal say in Maseret Kala Rabati, perek, perek, chaf. It says that 80,000 children were named Aaron after him in the desert. 80,000 children. Almost every other— it's like you go to Satmar, you scream, "Yoily!" 70% of the children say, "Who's?" You go to Breslev, you scream, "Nachman!" Half of the kids, "Who's?" You scream, "Natan!" The other half. Right? Every place has their hero and they like to name the children after that hero. Who was the hero at that time? Aaron. What about Moshe? Some people named their children Moshe, but the vast majority named their kids Aaron. Why? Because he helped them in Shalom Bayit issues. He taught them Emunah. He brought them closer to the Torah. He was so nice to them. They loved him. The entire Jewish nation cried for him 30 days. Everybody. Moshe, some people were happy that he died. When you are a strict rabbi, when you die, half of the people around you kill themselves from sorrow and pain. The other half drink L'Chaim. Ah, Esh Tov Bar Shemot. When I was in Panama, they told a story that can never be forgotten. Which was learning with Rav Ovadia Yosef in Porat Yosef. Rav Ezra Tia, the legendary Rosh Yeshiva of Porat Yosef, sent him to be the rabbi of Panama. Syrian Jews, there's some Ashkenazim there, but mainly Syrian Jews moved from Syria to Panama. They moved to Argentina, to Mexico, to Panama, to a lot of places where they speak Spanish. They were very successful financially in Panama. So they need a rabbi. He was a big chacham and strict. So they sent him to be a rabbi in Panama. When he was the rabbi over there, there was no joke, habibi. There was not a picnic here, a camp. Everybody was respectfully shaking from him, from his word and from his ruling on the community. No one dared to marry non-Jews there except 20 guys. 20 guys, his entire decades that he was the rabbi there, went and married a non-Jewish woman. You know, fell. Fell in love. This guy met Sylvia, this guy met Sandra, this one met a different amiga. 20 homes when the husband is a Jew and the wife is a non-Jewish woman, somebody from Panama. And he said to them, If you marry them, you can never ever enter the synagogue ever again. You're finished with the community. That's it. No one will marry your children, obviously. Over there, it's extremely strict. You betrayed God, we have nothing to do with you. You have to go and move far away from here. You're not— we're not going to make you bar mitzvah, nothing. Even you convert, nothing. You're done. You have to make this decision. And they went anyway. So one of them moved to a fancy place far away. Another one moved next to him. Another one moved next to him. Little by little, all the people that rebelled against the rabbi and the Torah moved to the same neighborhood. Interesting. One time there was a guy He was about to marry. Tonight is his wedding with the goyah. Somebody brought him to Rav Tzion Levi. He said to him, "Rabbi, that's the case with him." He said, "Bring him into my office." He came into the office and he said to him, "I want to give you a nice gift and bless you to be successful in your wedding." He pushed him in a room and locked him in. "I'm sorry, I cannot let you out." I won't let you destroy your soul. It's "Lo ta'amo dadam recha." I'm going to be guilty in Shamayim for allowing you to leave my office. I don't care, you come shoot me tomorrow. But I'm not letting you go there tonight. Sue me, kill me, it's no problem. I will not let you destroy your own soul. That's it. Ah, boom, bam, pop. After all, Those 20 moved and lived with their non-Jewish kids in a neighborhood somewhere in Panama there, by the water. The day Rav Tzion Levi passed, hours after his funeral, Hashem sent a hurricane to that neighborhood and the 20 houses of these 20 families, in one shot, all of them flew in the air. And they left with nothing. Just when his Neshamah went up to the court of heaven, probably what was the first thing he bragged about, "Hashem, if I have something to say to my defense, I was not a politician. Anyone who betrayed you, I never let them enter the community ever again. It's no business here, give a nice check and we let you in and we close our eyes." Right away judgment on those 20. That's the stories the guys over there in Panama told me. What do you want more than that? The word of a tzaddik in Shamayim. Why do you want more than that? You know, there was one rabbi here that lo and behold his granddaughter passed from from the makalah, from cancer. When she was still sick, he once told me, maybe you should make special prayers for her. I think she was 17, 18, something like that. Then she passed, but I didn't know she passed. 3 months later, I found out. I called him to apologize that I, you know, I didn't come, I didn't know. He said to me, now I'm okay. I was very, very broken, but now I'm okay. So what if you would call me 2 months ago? I was very, very crushed. What a righteous girl and what she had to go through. So I said, so what happened? He said to me, she came to me in a dream and she said to me, grandpa, Why are you crying over me? I'm in a place with the highest level of pleasure and light and you're crying for me? Don't you worry, I finished my purpose. Mama, I dreamt a dream. After that dream, that's it. He doesn't mourn anymore. Why? If you know that your granddaughter left the world and she's in heaven and she's happy, to cry for what? We have to cry for us that we're not there. Yes, for that we should cry. So we move on. So if we come to Aaron and say, "Write your biography." Right? "80,000 kids named after me. Look how many fans I have." Imagine if Aaron would have a Facebook page today. Imagine. I mean, I have more than 200,000 people. He would have probably 200 million people. The whole world admire him, even the goyim, right? Aaron, even in English, Aaron, Aaron, right? So he would have at least 100 million people, no? So it says dozens of kids every day named after him. Brit Milah, "V'ikar Eshmob Yisrael." You don't have to ask, Aaron. The mohel already know, "Ah, it's my 5th Brit today." They're all Aaron. Then he would say, I made a lot of Baal HaTeshuvah, I opened yeshivot, I was teaching the Kohanim, I was the head of the Kohanim, I did not complain when my two sons were sacrificed to Hashem in the grand opening of the Mishkan. That's what we just read in the Parasha, the grand opening of the Mishkan, Rosh Chodesh Nisan. What happened in Rosh Chodesh Nisan? First day, Moshe made up the Mishkan, the portable temple, and temporary. It was only in the time of the desert. When they moved to Israel, they built the temple in Jerusalem. So Rosh Chodesh Nisan was the grand opening, big celebration. All the presidents brought their sacrifices, and half of this parasha is about that. Second day, they slaughtered the red cow. Remember, without red cow you cannot purify the Cohanim. They cannot serve. So they sacrifice and burn the red cow, mix it with the water of the special natural water and some other spices, and they splash on the Cohanim and they all became pure. The 7th day, they shaved their entire hair from their body. That the body will be totally clean and pure. Not one hair left in the body, just like someone that had leprosy. In the 7th day, the same thing they do. So this is right here in the Parasha. So, Aaron, if Aaron would write in his biography that when Hashem nominated Moshe, he was happy that moment. Probably not. He was very humble. He wouldn't write it in his biography. "When my brother was nominated to be the leader, I actually was very happy for him." Most likely he wouldn't write it. So Moshe Rabbeinu was sent to take the Jewish nation out of Israel. He said to Hashem, "I cannot go. I'm not going to Pharaoh." Why? Hashem said, "Don't worry, I'll be with you." Moshe said, "I'm stuttering." Hashem said, "I'm gonna put words in your mouth. Who gave a person a mouth? I'm gonna put words in your mouth." Then Moshe said, "But how will I go? My brother Aaron will be offended." And Hashem said to him, "No, I'm telling you, he'll be happy in his heart when he sees that you were nominated. You don't have to be, you don't have to worry." If you would come to Aaron at that moment and you say that Hashem is about to write in the Torah a verse that when Moshe was nominated, he was very happy in his heart, wouldn't he make a big party to show everybody? He would be dancing with drums. Same thing with Boaz, he would give her a lot more than 2. He never dreamed that this is going to be an integral part of the Tanakh, of the Bible. When Naomi hears all of that, she says to Ruth, "If you cannot become a Jew, I have a good shidduch for you." I'm sorry, "If you can become a Jew, I have a great shidduch for you." Who? Boaz. She's a young woman and he's a very, very, very old grandpa. More than you can imagine. It's a little bit similar to what happened with Rabbi Kaduri. You know Rabbi Kaduri, the chief Kabbalist? Passed about 20 years ago. Rav Yitzchak Kaduri, Rosh Yeshiva Tam Kubalim of Yerushalayim. He was 107, 106. A woman in her 30s married him. To serve the tzaddik. I don't care, I just want to take care of him, hold his hand, make him dress, take him to the mikveh, help him out. I will be a servant of this holy man. Obviously it wasn't for anything intimacy or romantic or— I saw him actually in the time that he got married to her. I went one time to daven by him and got a blessing from him. He couldn't even walk, they had to hold his two hands. Like this, and he had to walk in reverse and hold his two hands. Didn't have the wheels like the old people have. He had to hold his hand for him to walk. Take him 10 minutes to walk from the shul outside. That's how old he was. Barely hear anything. So it's very similar. Now imagine you come to a woman in her 30s and say, I have a wonderful shiduch for you. Who? What? Rav Chaim Kanievsky. Ma? I mean, my love of Chaim is kdolador. I mean, I'm dust under his feet, but that's what you think of me? I'm 35. I don't want to get married. I want to go on a trip here and there. Not to Dubai, don't worry. I don't read these fake religious magazines who brainwash the kids and destroy their neshamot and call themselves religious. I'm not— a local vacation, maybe to upstate New York. I'll pick a little bit some apples over there. I want to have a husband, a v'reh, we do things together, maybe have a child or two. Why you want to give me a 93-year-old tzaddik? With all the respect to the tzaddik. That's what Naomi offers her. You should marry Boaz. When Naomi suggested that, she said, "I have a great shidduch for you, fantastic." Ruth accepted the offer. Who was born from her? Oved. Who was born from Oved? Ishai. Who was born from Ishai? David. David HaMelech. And who comes from David HaMelech? The Mashiach, the Messiah. So imagine Rabotai, if Boaz would be nasty to her when he saw that she's picking up wheat in his field, especially when she's not from the place, she's not local, she's not Jewish. Who is she? She came from a cursed nation. He would send her away. "Excuse me, ma'am, please don't come here anymore. Go somewhere else. All right? I have boys here. I don't want my boys, you know, they're watching their eyes. Please go somewhere else." That will be the end of all of us. How Mashiach would come? So did Boaz ever imagine that being nice to her and giving her those two wheats with vinegar will make him bring Mashiach to the world and one day we will get saved from all our enemies and all these cruel Arabs and the rest of the antisemite goyim and all the erevrav who call themselves Jews and in one minute they will all vanish and we finally will be left in a perfect world with no evil inclination and no poverty and no sicknesses and we'll have a temple And there's gonna be the greatest music played in the temple by the Levites, the Levi'im. And Mashiach would be, and all the tzaddikim will come back in the resurrection of the dead. And you will be walking in Jerusalem without worry, maybe some Arab would stick a knife in your neck or something. And you don't have to worry about inflation and problems and war and Iran. Everyone was cleaned of this Reshaim. And that all thanks to two pieces of wheat dipped in vinegar. Here, here, you're welcome, don't worry, you can convert. Rabotai, it's very deep, very deep what's going on here. Who really gained the most out of it? Boaz himself. One thing I want you to know, in case you didn't know, before it happened to Boaz, he had 60 kids and they all died. All of them died. What a tragedy. What a tragedy. Now we're in time of tragedies. 14 months of Corona, 6,300 Israelis died. Hundreds died here in New York, hundreds died in London and some other places in the world. Who knows, probably more than 10,000 dead. Corona, thanks to Hashem that sent us the vaccines, killed the corona completely in Israel. Nobody's sick anymore. Everything is open. No mask, no nothing. The only country in the world that is back to fully normal is Israel. Remember 3, 4 months ago when I was telling you the vaccine? A lot of you were cursing me. Maybe not you, Oren. Cursing me, wishing me to die. Where are all these cowards now? Disappeared. Maybe they come to apologize. No? What do you think? That finally instead of 100,000 dead people, we stuck on 63 and Baruch Hashem nobody died after that. Nobody died. In India, they say 40,000 people die every day. They say 4,000, but it's 40. They don't even know the names of the citizens. They die, they throw them in a hole and they burn their bodies. No burial. They lost completely control over them. In some other places, people die, nobody cares. They don't have records of every citizen and everything goes on the news and you hear about them. In Israel, everyone that dies, you know. It comes to the news. There's no such thing someone would die and nobody knows about it. So Baruch Hashem, Hashem saved us from the corona, but we're back to the way we are. What came next? Meron, 45 holy people that it's equal to thousands of dead. Because every tzaddik can be sometimes 1,000 wicked people on a scale. If you add all the good that they do, one tzaddik, we're talking quality, not quantity. Meron is finished. A week later, what happened? Givat Zev, Erev Chag Shavuot, 1,000 Hasidim stolen. Carlin stolen. Made music, come to dance in Erev Shavuot before sunset. Chanukah Sabbat of a shul. The shul is not finished. They didn't have patience to wait for permits. There's reasons why they give permits and inspections. The place. They went anyway with the party. The place collapsed. 2 boys died. 160 people got injured, 10 of them seriously. Everyone was shocked. An hour before Shavuot, another agony came. You finish with them, a war came. Thousands of missiles falling. Baruch Hashem, with Hashem's mercy, the Iron Dome Exploded 92% of the rockets. 8% hit. 92%, it's amazing. Imagine if 4,500 missiles will all hit. You cannot imagine the destruction it would cause. In the end, only few of them really hit. One here, one there, one on a street. One in a gas station, one in a house. One of them went into a house in Sderot. They get the most amount of rockets because they're right by Gaza. Destroyed the entire apartment. Not one thing left there except two things. One picture of Rav Ovadia Yosef on this wall. One picture of the Baba Saleh on that wall did not even move. Didn't move an inch, stayed straight. The whole wall is destroyed, the wall is destroyed, but the picture is still hanging straight. The tzadikim left in their place. Another place, he destroyed the whole house, all the gemarot on the shelves left, everything else got burned. There Hashem showed us miracles. But, but, A war is a war, another tragedy. 11 Days of Awe, people have panic attacks, kids, they don't sleep at night. Just when the war finished, everyone is back to their nonsense a minute later. It's like Hashem is not talking to us. What happened yesterday? A family, 5 people, father and a mother and a baby. And a grandpa and a grandma went on a cable train in Italy. The cable train collapsed, 14 people died, 5 of them Israelis. The whole family got wiped out. Father and a mother and a child and a grandfather and a grandmother. Every day a tragedy. Every day a tragedy. Not one day without a serious tragedy. And we are not waking up. The Rambam says when there are tragedies like this, they have to blow the trumpets. They have to go— they didn't have sirens back then, so they would go on horses, "Tuuu, tuu, trumpets!" What is it? Time of emergency. Everybody right away gathered to the synagogues with Tehillim, crying, screaming, doing teshuvah. Giving tons of charity, begging Hashem for mercy. What the Israelis have in mind? There's a championship in the league. Wow, we can go to Haifa, there's gonna be a game. 35,000 people screaming like baboons without shirts. Ah, ah, ah. Country is destroyed, the enemies inside the country taking over. There's no government already more than a year. Everything is black and what they have in their mind, who's gonna kick a piece of leather to the net. That's what they were worried about. The whole war, when is the game gonna be? When is the game gonna be? Imagine when Mashiach would show up, how would they show their faces? Some of them have yarmulke on their head. They also scream like baboons and jump on the fence like gorillas. "Ahhh!" You have to see how they cry. Why? Itzik or some guy from Brazil kicked the ball into the net. "Wow!" They cry. I don't think when Mashiach comes they'll cry like this with happiness. When they say on the news, "Rabotai, something is happening in the Olive Mountain behind the Western Wall." Someone is actually coming and there's a siren here and the floor is shaking. I don't think they would care. "Breaking news." "Shh, don't disturb me, I'm in my Xbox." "The Messiah came." "Shh, tell him to wait, I'm in the middle of a game." Why Hashem punished Boaz and killed his all 60 kids? That's a message for each one of us. Boaz every week had happiness. This wife gave birth, grandchild, this one, that one. When you have a large family, charedi, you have a lot of simchot baruch Hashem. Bar mitzvah, this, wedding, brit. 60 kids. But Hashem is very strict with the tzadikim, very strict. And what this tzadik, what mistake he did? He did not invite the father of Shimshon, Manoach, to his children's weddings and to his children's smachot. Why? Because he did not want to get a gift from a person that cannot have children. That his wife is barren. It's "ayin hara." Don't invite this couple. Why? They don't have children. If they see we already have 8 kids, they're gonna make "ayin hara" on us. No, but this is my cousin. No, no, don't invite them. I don't want any gift from them. It's bad luck. You have people like this today. Because he was thinking like this, and this is a big Chacham, Hashem said, "Oh yes?" He gave him such a punishment that one child did not survive. All died. So now he's a very old man and most likely will die any day with no children. Until Ruth showed up. So if he would be nasty to her and send her away, he would die with no kids. Besides the Mashiach point, he actually restored his genealogy. Did he see the kid? Did he see the kid? It's a good question. He was so old. We have to check. Ruth, she was kind with her mother-in-law, even though she wasn't her mother-in-law because, you know, you can't have a mother-in-law from a Jewish husband if you're not Jewish. But she was kind to her and supported her and she said, "I'm not letting you walk alone this whole, the entire road." And Boaz told her, "Hashem will pay your reward." Your salary will be complete. Shlema is Shlomo. Who came out of there? Shlomo HaMelech, son of David. From there the Messiah came. The smartest person will ever live will come from you. Solomon. Asher bat lachaso tachat knafav, that you came to be under Hashem's wings. And Chazal say, nialkut shimoni ti maskoter shlema maskoter tiye Shlomo HaMelech. Shlema, Shlomo. Don't say Shlema. Shlema and Shlomo is the same letters. Ruth actually lived because she was young. to see King David write Tehillim. In her lifetime she saw Tehillim. She saw this ex-Goyah live to see what legend came out of her. King David that wrote Tehillim, 150 holy chapters. She lived after David passed and saw Shlomo build the Temple. The grand opening of the Temple, Shlomo HaMelech, 3,000 years ago. She saw him a king in this world and a king in the upper world. Hashem made King Solomon so powerful that even in heaven they had to follow his halachot, his ruling. What age he became a king? 12, before he started even to put tefillin. Before— today, 12-year-old kids, "Hey, Moshe, wake up." "What happened?" "It's already 9:30. You didn't go to shachrit." "What about kriyat shema?" "Don't worry, I have minyan over there in a shtiebel." "Get up, you have to become the king today." 12 years old. All he has in his mind is— I don't want to say what, but definitely wasn't planning to be the king of the most important country in the world. She actually saw it. Now we understand the depth of what the Torah says, "Ve'ish et kodasha v'lo yiu." Not only that this kodashim that you give actually comes back to you and it all remains yours for eternity. They are the only thing you take with you to the next world. Nothing else. Your beautiful mansion here and all the art you bought, in the end you don't take with you. This is a wonderful lesson. The last thing for today, Chazal told us in Masechet Sanhedrin, Masechet Sanhedrin, page 98. Maya asa adam v'ina tzel michavlo shel Mashiach. There's 9 months of giving birth, meaning pregnancy. Every day become harder until the last hour is the hardest with contractions and all that. That's how it's going to be before Mashiach come. 9 months of horrible suffering from the Arabs. That's what's written 2,000 years ago already. Galut Ishmael. Remember when it was written, the Arabs were Bedouins living in a desert in tents. They didn't have countries, they didn't have Dubai, they didn't have Bahrain, they didn't have Saudi Arabia, they didn't have Abu Dhabi, they didn't have Egypt, they didn't have all these countries. There were Arabs living in the desert on camels, like in a way to the south. You see them over there. That's how they were. So back then, Chazal already told you, "Oy lo le'Yisrael alayom shebonimol Ishmael." Oy to the nation of Israel to the day that Avraham did Brit Milah to Ishmael. Because thanks to Brit Milah, you sit in the Holy Land. That's the mitzvah that the reward for it is the Holy Land. And because they did an incomplete Brit Milah, they would remain in in a land until Mashiach come. When Mashiach come, he will wipe them all up. But until then, there will be cancer among our nation. This was written 2,000 years ago. So, oy, to the day that Ishmael agreed to be circumcised. He was 13 years old. That's why there's nothing you can do. You want to kick the Arabs out of Lod? You're dreaming. You want to kick them out of Acre? You're dreaming. You want to kick them out of Haifa or Jaffa? You're dreaming. There's nothing you can do. Hashem designed the world in such a way that you can be the best army and the best Mossad and the best and the best high-tech and the best spying technology, and an Arab ignorant, an alphabet, 16 years old puts you on your knees. With all your equipment, with your tank, and make fun at you and curse your mother, and the whole world is waiting for the minute you're gonna punch him or shoot him. And right away the propaganda will begin. Hashem put handcuffs on our hand. One day is this guy, the next time is this guy, the Europeans, now the Americans. When Trump was in power, 4 years didn't make a beep, Hamas. Were very quiet. They knew there's no one will take their side. With Trump, they don't play games. As soon as Joe came and Kamala, which I'm basically surprised from them, they're not as bad as I thought they'll be. They could have been a lot worse, believe me, with the other Democrats that pressuring them, all these Arabs. So they were not so bad. But in the end, they told Israel, you have to stop. That's it. Trump would say, "If you stop, I don't know what I'm going to do to you. You go full force. I send you 5,000 Americans to help. I want to see the Hamas fighting my own soldiers." But that's why the Arabs knew not to mess with us when Trump was in power because they knew he's crazy. They knew he's going to take it personally and he's going to contact them and tell them that if they don't stop shooting the rockets, He will wipe them all out. And He would. In United Nations, they did not say a word for 4 years. Nikki Haley was talking and talking and the Arabs were like mouse, sitting like this, "Yes, ma'am." Nobody made a beep. Why? Because Hashem wanted to give us an opportunity. And what did we do? Same story. Okay. The candy finished. The ice cream is finished. Now comes the payment. Nonstop problem. From the minute the Democrats took over, check what's happening. Midat Adin in the world. The judgment is very strict. Chazal say, you want to get saved from these cords of Messiah? Learn a lot of Torah. My lecture in Roslyn Thursday night. Torah. You must listen to that lecture. Torah and kindness, Gemilut Hasadim. Helping, helping, supporting, helping, donating. What can I do? That's what the Jew has to be. Namsta. It's also good for the Gentiles. If a Gentile is also kind and love and support Israel, donates to kiruv, he's very lucky. Tomorrow when Mashiach comes, he says to him, "Hey, Tony, come here. Vinnie, come here. You, come here. Jennifer, you come here. Stay over here. You're not like the rest of them. You wait here. We gotta give you now your reward." They're all gonna be protected. When Mashiach comes, some of these Gentiles will be protected. One time Rabbi Yosef and Rabbi Chia walked in the way And they saw a person with leprosy, all his body is rash, leprosy, tzarat. They told him, you have leprosy, shame on you. They did not go to college. They were not politically correct liberal speakers. When they saw a person with leprosy, that means he speaks lashon hara, rasha. Right away they say to him, did you do teshuvah? Why you still have leprosy? Stop speaking lashon hara. Show me one rabbi that will see someone with leprosy and say, Rasha, why you have leprosy? Why you speak lashon hara? That will be the end of him. Vile. Let's make a page against him on Facebook. Why? How dare he call people that Hashem killed Rosh Chaim in Pittsburgh. That's the reality. But the Chachamim didn't have this nonsense lefty liberal agenda. Right away they attacked him. They say to him, "You have leprosy, you need to do teshuvah and check what you do wrong." Why did they say to him? Because they loved him or because they hate him? Did they want to put him down? Did they want to enjoy from his suffering? Did they want to make fun of him? What was the reason? Pure love. We don't want to see you suffering. Do teshuvah that this leprosy should go away, that you can come back to live among people. He answered to them, you probably from the yeshiva of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai. Because he was very strict. No beloni. Strict. When they spoke, Rabbi Yehuda, Rabbi Yosef, and Rabbi Shimon, about the Roman Empire. Rashbi said to them, "Enough with your nonsense. Everything these Romans did, they made roads, they made parks, they made bridges. It's all for their own good. Don't give them credit." That's why he ran to hide in a cave for 13 years because they were searching for him to kill him. Don't think that something changed in the world. Even then you couldn't say the truth. Today they kill you, back then they killed you also. So, they say to him, you're probably from the Yeshiva of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai, over there everyone is strict. They say it in your face as it is. No politically correctness. He said, true, we are from the Yeshiva of Rashbi, of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai. Then he said to them, "Allow me, rabbis, to correct one thing of what you say. Soon my sons will come and you will realize your mistake." That's what he told them. A few minutes later, his sons came, and all his sons were big rabbis, talmid echachamim. His all sons are bnei Torah. And they say, "I know you think that my father is wicked, that's speaks lashon hara, speaks gossip. But that's not the case. There is one more case that a person can receive leprosy. Not always only for lashon hara. What is it? That he saw a Jew commit a sin and did not stop it and did not rebuke him. Immediately He got leprosy like the biggest, most wicked person that gets leprosy for lashon hara. Lashon hara is equal to murder, being with a married woman, and avodah zarah, and bow down to an idol equally. 3 of the worst sins equal to lashon hara. But there is one more sin who brings leprosy. Your friend is about to go into a bad movie and you didn't stop him. You did nothing to stop it. Your friend is listening to one of these infidel speakers on YouTube and you did nothing to stop it. Your friend is a Mechalel Shabbat and you never send him one stora in science or the purpose of life. How can it be? Or you didn't get him my book and give it to him as a gift. Read it. Then you will open up your eyes and see what darkness you live in. So what happened? The youngest boy said, the same way a person is punished for speaking forbidden words, he can also be punished that he could have said to others words of encouragement when they are depressed and broken and revived their soul, and he did not do so. Or he could have rebuked them for their evil way, and he did not do that. As it's written in Tehillim, in Psalms 39, it says, "Ne'elam ti dumia, echesheti mitov, ve'ke'evi ne'echar." Translation: "Because I was mute, because I was silent when I needed to speak rebuke, my pain is a killer." my pain is severe now. Why? Because I did not rebuke the Jew that was supposed to hear my rebuke. If I had an opportunity to say something positive and correct someone and I did not do it, horrible suffering is coming to me. One cannot be more clear than that. Rav Yonatan Eifshitz lived 200 years ago, was a legendary Chacham Ashkenaz. He has a very important book, "Arot Vash." He talks about in Darush Yud, chapter 10, drasha 10, about sinat chinam, baseless hatred that destroyed the Second Temple and until today it's still destroyed for 2,000 years. He asked, what is exactly baseless hatred? Logically, every person that hates another person will give you a reason. You could say that is a stupid reason, but for him is a very important reason. Why you hate him? He's a Jew. Why you hate him? He's black. Why you hate him? He's Asian. Why you hate Asian? They brought Corona. But he lives in America. Doesn't matter, they all have Corona. Everyone with this stupidity. Why you hate him? He's rich. Why you hate him? He's ungrateful. Why you hate him? He's dirty. Why you hate him? I don't like his clothes. Everyone with this stupidity. Why you hate him? He's my neighbor, he make noise. Why you hate him? He blocks my parking. 'Why you hate him? He's a lefty.' Everyone has reasons why they hate somebody else, no? Why you call it baseless hatred? It's hatred that has a reason. Did you ever see a person walks in the street, 'You! I hate you.' 'Why?' 'I don't know why, but I hate you.' You don't really have such thing, no? 'Why you hate me?' 'I don't like your hair.' Okay. 'Why you hate me?' 'I don't like this.' Anything! 'Oh, you came from Iran? I hate you!' 'Why?' 'You look like Ahmadinejad.' He's coming back, by the way. He's the next president of Iran, Ahmadinejad. This Haman Hitler is coming back to power in Iran. This one was a puppet compared to him, this Ayatollah. Rasha, that's probably the words of the Gemara, "Lakadosh Baruch Hu puts a king," that is, decrees, is worse than Haman to wake us up before Mashiach comes. That's probably him. So what does it mean, baseless hatred? Rav Yonatan Ha'Ifshitz writes, a Jew stands in a shul and sees one of the people there He speaks in the middle of Kaddish or when they read in a Torah. Speaks to his friend. And he's standing there and he's quiet. It doesn't bother him. Why should I even say something? I'm not the rabbi here. I'm not getting paid here to make order. Why should I put my head in it? It's none of my business. I don't feel comfortable to rebuke people. It's not my job. It's not my nature. He's my customer. He's my neighbor. I want his daughter for my son for shidduch. There's reasons. And agree, that is the job of the rabbi of the community to rebuke his community. But it's not as productive if one of the people from the community will rebuke him. Friend to friend. "Hey, brother, not that I'm better than you. I also sometimes speak in a Kaddish. It's a big problem, but we really have to work on it." I saw horrible things happen to people that speaks in a Kaddish. Horrible things. Horrible things happen to people that speaks in the middle that they read in the Torah of Hashem and they speak about sport or about the weather or about the chulent of his wife. "Your wife made chulent, we're gonna come over." In the middle of the Torah. That's what he's worried about. Big problem. So Rav Yonah, this was 200 years ago. Nobody spoke 1% of what we speak today in a synagogue back then. Just that you understand that the problem is 200 times worse. So he writes, if the rabbi will rebuke them, he can help, but not enough because they already got used to speeches. It's not making impression. But if one of the friends will come, "Excuse me, come here. I like you, you're my brother, but I have to tell you something." "what? You disturb the crowd, you speak in the middle of Kaddish, it's disrespecting the shul. I'm worried about what's gonna happen to you. You're my brother, I care about you. Can you please stop?" "Okay, okay, I'm sorry, you're right, I'm sorry." Let's see. So he says, if you If you know how to rebuke people and you do it politely, but you show you care, but you still have to be strict enough, it brings him to an understanding that he better listen to you and change his bad way. That's a real love of a Jew to a Jew. To see that he's about to be punished for what he does by Hashem and you save him before it happens. If he will get cancer, you will do everything you can to collect money for him for the doctor and for the surgery. And you may think, "Wow, what a great friend I am. Collected $100,000 for my friend." And then you come to Hashem and Hashem says, "No, you're not a good friend." 5 years before that, you were sitting with him every day in the shul and see how he talks and make jokes and you did not say a word. If back then you would take him on the side and speak strong to him once or twice, he would stop it. The Satan will not force to give him a sickness like this. Now he got it because 5 years he speaks in Kaddish in the middle of davening. He could have prevented it 5 years ago. It would be a lot cheaper and faster than a surgery and a $100,000, I think. That's what we don't understand. Today, if you speak like I spoke now, 90% of the liberals go crazy. Just for speaking about reward and punishment, they are so allergic to Hashem and to the Torah, it drives them crazy. And if you say— you know what somebody told me on Friday? Religious guy with a beard, you would never believe how liberal liberals religious people became. He said to me, he's from Argentina, with his Spanish accent, "I actually agreed to listen to a clip of you for 7 minutes." Right away you see what an arrogant person you're dealing with. "I actually agreed," meaning I'm surprised that I wasted on you 7 minutes. And I say, "And?" I smiled because I'm already used to these idiots. So I say, "No, and? What do you have to say?" He say, "Well, let's put it that way. What you said over there, there is a different way to say it." I said, "What did I say?" He say, "You say that if somebody get a punishment," If someone gets sick or if someone dies, to say that he did not deserve it, it's heresy. Meaning, is it possible that Hashem will kill someone and that person did not deserve that penalty? I said it in one of the lectures, whatever we got, we deserve it. We got, Chas V'Shalom, sickness, we did something to deserve it. Chasvei Shalom, someone died, Hashem's calculation, we don't know, but nobody dies unless he deserves to die. It could be from past life, but nobody dies randomly. This was the clip. So he said, that's very disrespectful to say that if someone died, he deserved it. Meaning liberal. I was about to ask him what university you went to in Buenos Aires, what kind of a lefty group you came from. I said, let's not waste time on him. There's other things to do. It was Friday afternoon. But this was just to show you that people with beards and nice black yarmulkes, no guarantee that they are not infidels, that they are not heretics. They are upset when they read the 13 principles of Judaism that Hashem rewards the righteous and punish the wicked. And that the Gemara said that if you got suffering, for sure you deserve them, you earned them. That's what the Gemara say. Any suffering below Avon. That's the Gemara, not me. Gemara. No suffering unless you earned it. There's no random suffering. Hashem does not have a divine roulette. Number 17, who is he? Yitzchak. Next, see who's next one. What's the next gift? 5 years of chemo. Okay, shh. Avi. What's the next one? Car accident. Reuben. Next one, turn the roulette. If that's what you think, please at least don't pretend to be religious. That's all I'm asking. You want to speak, speak, but please don't pretend that you are religious. Because being religious is rule number 1, keeping the 13 principles of the Torah. That's the foundation of the building. You deny them, You deny Mashiach, you deny the resurrection of the dead, you deny reward and punishment, you deny prophecy, you deny certain things. Don't call yourself a religious Jew. First thing you tell the goyim that comes to convert is what? 13 principles of Judaism. That's first thing they ask them in a Beit Din. If they refuse to accept one of them, you cannot convert them. Cannot be a kosher Jew denying one of the 13 principles. There is a VIP club and the VIP contract say that it costs $5,000 a year membership. And every time you come to the club, you must wear a black tie. And the third rule, no sneakers is allowed. And the fourth rule, you cannot be loud when you're there. And the fifth rule, you cannot drink alcohol 6 hours before you arrive. They don't want drunk people there. So they have a list of conditions. So you come to the manager of the club and say, 12 out of the 13 I'm willing to keep. But one, it's not for me. What is it? I want to come with my jeans and my holes. I'm sorry, you can't. You're not gonna tell me I'm not gonna be a member in a club. It's my club. I made the rules. Get lost. 'No! I'll take you to the Supreme Court.' Remember the girl from 2 weeks ago? What was her name? Who remembers? The cheerleader, no? She went to the Supreme Court. They didn't want to let her. You know, she cursed the school, so the school fired her. So now the Supreme Court, she said, She's allowed to curse the school in social media and speak bad about them. It's freedom of speech. Freedom of freedom. But I also have freedom who to hire and who not to hire. And I don't want someone who curses me on social media to work for me and to see his lousy face every day. That's also freedom. We don't fire her because of the color of her skin or because of her political views. Or because of her religion. We fire her because she's cursing us and make us bad reputation on media. No, but the Supreme Court is so dumb that they want to rewrite the world, not just the Constitution. So let's finish. So Rav Yonatan Ha'Ifshid says, the Zohar, brings the Zohar, and he say, when the nation of Israel answer amen on a blessing singing of Mechaye Hametim. Baruch Ata Hashem Mechaye Hametim. And what comes right after that? Nakdishach ve'Naharitzach. The Kedusha. Or like the Ashkenazim say, Nekadesh Shimcha. Either way, it's the same thing. Nakdishach or Nekadesh Shimcha, same thing. So what? Why they make the Kedusha in the bracha of Mechaye Hametim? Right? Because right after that you say, Ata Kadosh V'Shimcha Kadosh, speaking about the holiness of Hashem. So we say Kedusha. But what comes before? "Ofer cholim, ezeh matirasurim, chayemetim." All these things comes in a bracha of mechayametim. Moridah tal. What? Which tal? The tal that will resurrect the dead. The dew. There's two kinds of dew. Dew of the morning will resurrect the grass and the trees and give them life more than the rain. And the dew that will resurrect all the righteous people from the grave. Tal Shel Triata Metim, like the prophet spoke about. That's why Moridah Tal is inside Mechayam Metim, resurrecting the dead. And what's Mashiva Ruach Moridah Geshe? Mashiva Ruach, returning the spirit. Returning the spirit. That's all spiritual, not like you think with, ah, rain. Yes, it also talks about rain for your tomatoes. "But all the spirits will return back to the bodies and come out of the grave." And then the Geshem would come. "Nobody will be poor." "No one will have to go to work." "There's no more the curse of Adam that you have to go and make a living." "No women will have to scream giving birth." That's what it means. Mechayim et Him. When the Jewish nation say amen on this blessing in the synagogue, when the shachazan say Baruch Atah Hashem, Mechayim et Him, and everybody say amen, Hakadosh Baruch Hu announce in the court of heaven, God, who from my children did something special for me? That's the announcement. Right away, thousands of angels walking into the court of heaven. Malach HaSharet, the servants of Hashem, all these angels. And bring in front of his chair to the seventh heaven, which is the highest out of seven, the image and the name of a person that rebuke the public. How many like this you have in the world? Almost none. Almost none left. Very few. That speak strong and rebuke the public. Very few left. That's it. We're slowly, slowly losing the leftover that we have. And they come and an announcement is made in a court of heaven. especially be mechaye ametim. Why? Because someone who rebukes the public, saves him from sins, is the real resurrector of the dead. He is reviving his soul. Why? Because sins can cause a person to lose his share to the World to Come and life of eternity. Preventing him from committing sins, making him become Shomer Shabbat, making him behave like a kosher person, giving him back his share to the life of eternity. So if a doctor can revive a person in an open-heart surgery, making a bypass and giving him another 20 years of life, he's getting a huge admiration. For giving him extra years of life. But when someone resurrects his soul and connected back to Hashem and he gets back his share to the life of eternity, that's a real life-saving because he saved the life of eternity of that Jew. And who is greater than Eliyahu HaNavi and Elisha that revived the actual death. Elijah revived a dead and Elisha revived the dead, his student. Shei'echayu metim. Who else revived the dead in history? Ezekiel, Ichezkel, all the tribe of Ephraim. He revived them back to life. They revive a person for X amount of years of life. But someone that rebuked the public and teach them Torah and prevent them from making sins and inspire them to be righteous, saving their soul, la'ad u le'olamim, revive their soul and save the soul for life of eternity. And that's why his name is announced every day in the court of heaven. When the first minyan in sunrise in the Holy Land begin, as soon as they arrive, Baruch Atah Hashem Echad Ya'ometim, today was like 5 5:31 was the next. The repeat was probably 5:40. Today, this announcement was 5:40 AM. Another month or two, it's going to be 6:37. But it goes by sunrise in the Holy Land. Same thing, midnight of the Holy Land, that Hashem goes down to heaven to have spiritual fun with the righteous people. Lishtach, she'ayim atzadikim, chatzot laylah, which is around 1 o'clock, 1 AM now. So all these things, you know, all these zohar, it's actually, you know, it gives us a lot of excitement for understanding how much a person can earn, how much a person can earn by rebuking people and saving their soul. Today you don't have to even speak. All you have to do is hand them a CD. That's rebuking. Here is a book, I bought you a book. I bought you a book, please read. No, no, I'm not the type to read books. Okay, okay, here I have a USB for you. Plug it in your car. You understand? You have to be always with Ezra Rishonai in your trunk or in your bag. You know what Ezra? First aid. You know how you always have all these Band-Aids and all kinds of things, Chas V'Shalom, in case something happens? You have to be ready. You have to have spiritual first aid. You see your cousin with his ponytail and his tattoos. "Hey, Robert, come here. How are you?" The last thing you are interested is to speak to this Robert right now. What is he going to talk to you about? His business? His women, his club, his jet ski. Waste of time. But now is an opportunity to save a soul. So you listen to his nonsense for 5-10 minutes. You create a contact and you say, "Wow, you're a nice guy. I want to give you something that can save your life." You never heard in your life such thing. Get him curious. "What is it?" "Just plug it in your car or in your plasma." Watch the first film. Tell me what you think. Nah, trust me, you'll bless me. You don't like it, throw it out. He got curious. Now I came to the best part of the night, but we'll do it tomorrow night because time ran out. We have Brooklyn tomorrow night, we'll start with that. B'ezrat Hashem. Wednesday I'm speaking in Queens in Magen David Shul. In Hebrew, right after Mincha and Arvit.
