Chris Johnson of Reclaimed Karma joins our Conscious Intercourse on Mental Health... Ep 22

YouTube episode (Apr 20, 2023) of the Conscious Intercourse podcast featuring hosts Armand Kadima and Ebony Emma Peel with guest Chris Johnson (CJ) of Reclaim Karma. The conversation blends personal storytelling, relationship reflections (Chris and his wife's 17-year relationship, 10-year marriage), business background (Reclaim Karma, started c.2015), and an extended discussion on mental health: pandemic impacts, trauma and ancestral trauma, limits and costs of the mental-health system, barriers to care, alternative healing modalities (meditation, exercise, psychedelics/ketamine clinics), and practical self-care (self-karma practices). Tone is reflective, experiential, and hopeful; the hosts emphasize presence, moving energy, and integrating story/trauma into healing.

Hey.
What up? What up, y'?
All?
We are back. You are tuned into power 108.9. I am your host, Ebony Emma Peel, and your host, Armand Kadima. And we are conscious intercourse.
We are conscious intercourse, right?
Yes. Yes. You with us? You with us, Armand. You. You here?
Yo, these devices are addictive, man. I'm over here with this AI, right?
Yeah.
Not the AI, though, right? What's up?
Y' all taking over the world right now?
It's been a minute. It's been a minute. Happy to be back. Hope everybody's doing well.
We're doing amazing.
Hump day, you know, getting back into the swing of things. We took a. We took a show off.
Did we take a show off?
We took a show off to take care of the kitties during spring break. So, you know, we was giving the children some time.
Family time. Right?
Family time.
Mandated. Mandated family.
Trying to get our. Get our. Get everybody all, you know, chilled and, you know, get that mental together.
We'll get some relaxation time.
Relaxation, peace of mind, to get away from, you know, everything mundane.
The monotony.
The monotony. All that good stuff, you know. And speaking of that.
Right.
You know, conscious intercourse, you know, ultimately we talk about, you know, the. The evolution of our spiritual nature.
Right?
Yes.
We are human beings having spiritual experiences, so we're coming with that. We have to consciously intertwine and make sure that we are aware of how everything, you know, from our mental state to our families to our jobs to our creativity to our purpose, all intertwined consciously to where we live in lives of purpose.
That's right.
Lives of conscious decision making. Right. So conscious intercourse is all about that.
That's right.
Bringing everything to the forefront. Things that people don't want to discuss, things that are, you know, traumatic or.
Or things that's. Happy, things that's good. You know, it's not always trauma and pain and it's just life and all the life experiences, good and bad.
Indeed.
And, you know, and how we can relate and how we can help everybody else who relates.
Yeah.
Deal with and process. You know what I mean?
So there's no good and bad.
Right.
Only thinking makes it so.
There you go.
I love it. Experiences, most definitely. Right.
We have someone with us today to share in their experience.
That's right.
Individual Christopher Johnson. C.J.
Government name.
Right.
C.J. what it do, man?
What's happening? I'm just happy to be here with y'.
All.
Yes. Thank you for joining us.
Absolutely.
You got a lot going on.
I do.
You know, you got a lot going on. And, you know, this is. You know, we thought it would be great to have you on to share your experiences and your awesomeness with us.
Absolutely. Yeah.
You know what? I feel real special, though.
Do you? You are special.
You should.
Well, I mean, I feel more special.
More special today, right?
I always feel real special, yes.
Why you feel more special today?
Because, man, y', all, it was an honor. Y' all invited me to be here on your anniversary show. It's like, one year.
It is one.
Man.
Yeah.
One year.
This is a one year anniversary. W. That's what's up, man. This has been.
We did that.
It's been an accomplishment. You know, this has been, you know, journey. It's been a. Yeah, it's been a journey. It's been a lot of learning experience.
Right?
This is life, you know, Life, man. Life be life, man. Yeah. Right.
Okay, okay, okay.
There we go. On time with it, right?
I love that, man.
Right?
Yeah.
You know.
Yeah. So, yes, we're happy to have you on. On this. Amazing.
Yeah.
Well, thank y' all for having me, man.
You know. You know, it's a powerful. You know, it's a powerful day. It's a powerful opportunity.
Yeah.
So, you know, that's why you should feel special. Right. Because we're here to talk about something transcending something, you know, that ultimately, like Ebony, you know, alluded to earlier in the show, it's about life, right? The. The ups and downs or roller coasters, but it's all. It's all one.
That's right.
Yeah, that's right. Yeah. So tell us a little bit about you, man. I know you're. You're. You say you're a lot. You got a lot going on and. Yeah, man, tell us about who you are.
So I'm. I'm Chris Johnson, aka CJ, aka Aiden Osmond. That's my pen name.
Okay.
I'm 50. Let me get that right. I'm 49, owner of Reclaim Karma.
You better get it right.
My wife is a majority share. Me and my wife, we run a design and build firm called Reclaim Karma. I'm a general contractor. She's an interior designer, and we build dope, man.
And it's a dope show.
Yeah.
It's a dope show. Y' all have such an amazing.
Yeah, I mean, so we do, you know, we. We have our construction company. We have Creative Karma, which is our content creation company, media company. We do a lot of brand partnerships. We do, like you said, shows, web series. Yeah, man. We just be.
That's awesome.
God gave us, man.
That's awesome. And to do that with your wife, you know, that's an amazing thing. How. How is that? How is that, you know? Up and down, I'm sure.
Yeah, it's up and down. But more. More so ups than it is.
Then that's what matters. That's what's up.
Yeah, cuz. I mean, like, you just like this year, we celebrate 10 years.
Wow.
Marriage.
Congratulations.
Congrats. Yes.
We've been together for 17 years. Years total.
Okay.
You know, okay. When you just look back at the person that you've been with that long and you've grown together, continue to grow together, you know, continue to submit to one another and accept each other for their faults and for their good parts, and you recognize, like, I wouldn't be where you are at this point without that person. You know what I'm saying? It's a beautiful thing. Now, I believe both of us would always be successful people just because our nature of who we are.
Right.
You know what I'm saying? But I feel like. Well, who. Who said that song? You know what I'm saying? By myself. But.
But it's a force when we're together. I'm a movement by myself.
Yeah. But I'm a force when we're together. That's Neo, you know, Neo dropping the bar. Fabulous. Of Neo. But Neo, Neo sinking the hook.
Right?
That's his best work.
I saw Neo.
Yeah.
He reminded me. Fab, right?
That's what's up. And I like what you said. You said, you know, you know, both of you are, you know, submitting to each other.
I heard.
You know, I heard that.
And that's.
Oh, yeah. My wife is a beast, man. She's had to accept some things with me.
Yes.
Who I am, you know, my craziness. And I've had to accept her practicality.
But that's love, right?
Amen.
That's love.
That work.
That's, you know.
Yeah. No, you're right. It's work. Right?
It's definitely work.
Work is AKA your worship. Hey. You know what I mean?
Yeah, yeah.
Therefore, what you put your life into, you know?
Yeah.
That's what's up, you know?
Yeah. Someone asked me yesterday is. Is Love a feeling.
Right.
And I.
Love is an action.
Is love. What is love? Is it a feeling? You know? You know, he was trying to get me to look at something from a certain perspective, but I just. I was like, yeah, love is a feeling. What else could it be?
Right, That's. That was your answer?
Yeah.
I mean, what else could it be? I have a better understanding now of what love is, but at the time, it was like, love. Is love a feeling? I'm like, yeah, it is. Because you feel love, right? It's. It's a feeling.
It's. It's a feeling, but I think it's. It's an action, too.
Too.
Love is duty. We. We spoke on this. Love is duty. Like you said, love is work.
Yeah.
You know, it's. It's you saying that I choose you, we choose each other, and we gonna stick together and make this happen regardless of whom or what we gonna come together.
It's a very profound moment. So I know I'm probably gonna mess this up.
Nah, but don't speak it into existence.
Because I already said in my head, I was like, damn, I got it messed up what it is.
But.
Yeah, but so like, the ancient Egyptian symbol for love was like, was it the, the reap or the, the hoe, whatever. You know what I'm saying?
There we go.
It ain't that.
Hey, I'm just using.
It's not.
My bad. I'm thinking about that.
Whatever. Whatever that tool was you use, right? Yeah, that, that was the symbol for love because love is work. You know what I mean? So, like, you don't really get much out of it if you don't put in the work. I think in the beginning it is a feeling that. And then as you progress through your relationship, it turns into an action.
That's right. You don't keep working at it.
Yeah. If you don't keep making it a verb, then the feeling goes away. Okay. You feel me? Yeah.
And that tool, that garden tool, I'm sure is probably a better use of. It's because. Because it's. It's prepping for. For planting something. For something that's going to be in the works to grow.
Yeah.
Right. So you start with your tools and, you know, you, you. You reap something beautiful.
You can't build nothing with no tools.
Yeah, indeed. You know best about that, right?
Yes.
So this gentleman yesterday was actually. He's like a life coach. Right. You know, I had to take, you know, I've been, you know, people have suggested and recommending therapy. Right. But I just, the traditional therapy really has never really worked for me.
Right.
Sitting on the couch and kind of sharing your stories or your, you know, your challenges, it's never really worked for me. So I was looking for something different, something that kind of could cater to where I am into my perception of the world. So when he asked me about the love being a feeling, he was trying to get to the point where he, he defined love as a frequency. Said love is a frequency.
Right.
Because ultimately you have to vibrate. So love is the highest level of any type of frequency. Right. We are spiritual beings, we are energies. So it's all about everything is a frequency. So love is the highest form of frequency. So ultimately, if you conceptualize what love is from a frequency perspective and you begin to vibrate that way because it starts with self, love first. Because if you love your first and are truly in love with yourself, right. Then you do your, your frequency begins to vibrate at a level to where you're going to attract, that's right, like minded people and circumstances bring forth love. Right, Right. So ultimately this, my understanding of it now is that I don't necessarily feel like love has to be so much work that just I'm, you know, I'm kind of going to counter that. To me, it's more of if you're vibrating at a certain frequency, then whatever you attract is in alignment with who you are and it becomes easy, flawless. Like Neo in the Matrix. Right. Things are no longer difficult, they're just what they are.
You don't always have to be difficult.
No, I get what I'm saying. Yeah. But a lot of times in, in when you think about it, when people talk about relationships, it's always like, man, it's work, man. You gotta, you know, it's always from a connotation of it's work. It's something that's difficult, but you gotta work through it. It's going to be hard. You're gonna have challenges, you're gonna have ups and downs. It seems a sense of a rigorous type of, you know, experience just giving a, you know, a different perspective to it. So when he shared that with me, I was like, you know what, that's profound. That was, you know, that was deep.
Yeah, definitely. But you know, work is progression, movement, you know, motion.
Yeah.
You know, whether it's growth, whether it's, you know, something declining, it's work. You know what I'm saying? So it's like, but movement, motion is, is work.
Well, that's life, right? We're frequencies Exactly. We're vibrating. So everything has to be in motion, right? Yeah. You don't work in your e, but anytime you stop vibrating, you stop growing and you're. That's death, right?
Yeah.
You know, death is when things begin to stop when. When you reach up. No movement is death. Exactly, exactly. You got to continuously.
Yeah, yeah.
So.
But can't you transcend when your physical can't move no more?
Yeah.
The energy that you had here can still be in movement. It is the work that you put out before can still be in movement, you know? I mean.
Yeah, man, that's why I used to love parking. You know, the outlaws used to talk about outlaw immortals. They talking about how, yo, we put out this music, we're immortalized ourselves. Because even after we're gone, this music is going to be here.
Right.
Continuously, you know, impacting future generations.
And I think that's something to focus on, like the impact you leave in this earth, like in this world, what you leave, your legacy, you know, what you leaving in your children, what people think of you.
That's it.
You know, when you're not around, what they say about you when you're not around. That's. That's what's important, you know, that's what we want to focus on with the legacy we're leaving, you know, and no, we talk. We talk about our, you know, mental health, you know, to show that word, you know, that phrase, mental health and keeping our mental together and, you know, self love, like you said, that's. That's first.
And so we start doing these days called self karma. Okay. Right. And the. The philosophy behind it is you, when you think of karma, you always think about what you put out into the world that you hopefully get back. So we were just chill one day. It was like. But what about what you put into yourself? You know what I'm saying? Yes. That allows you to be able to give back greatness also. So if you don't pour greatness into yourself, how do you expect to, boom, put greatness back out?
Great point.
You know what I'm saying? So, yeah, that's just something that we've been really focusing on, man. Like we'll. On Sundays or someday during the week. Well, we work out separately most days of the week. And then we come together one day during the week.
Okay.
And go do a workout together, which is normally walking.
Okay.
We'll hit the belt line, we hit the mountain, and we'll find a different trail. So, like that.
Yeah.
And just work out together and be still together. You know what I'm saying?
And just be still together. Oh, how important is that? Because y', all, especially when you got a lot going on, man.
Like, I think as a society, we're like super over stimulated.
Yes.
You know, like, we just don't slow down. We always move emotion.
Exactly.
You know, because I guess we always working. At least I feel like I'm always working.
Yeah.
But I love what I do. So I don't really feel like a negative.
Exactly.
Thing, you know.
Right.
But yeah, just being still, I've recognized, like grounding, getting back connected with the earth and just listening to my breath, focusing on my breath and allowing things to. When thoughts come in, it's like it's just a thought and let it flow back out just as easy as it came in. What we were saying, like Wang Chung, you know what I'm saying?
Right. Just, you know. No, that's very powerful because it's like, it's energies. Right. And they come in different forms of fashion. It's just a matter of managing and transferring them out. Right, right. Recognizing what they are. Just. Okay, it comes in. Move it back out. I'm letting you know I'm circulated because it's about currencies about, you know.
That's right.
Moving the energy, like you said, movement, Moving the energy around. So that's powerful.
So, you know, because you guys have such a. A very busy life and you talking about being still, you know, having those moments where you just, you know, off camera and just really just connecting with each other, you know? What. What are your still moments? Look like? Like you said, connecting with the earth. So being outside in nature, just being home, doing nothing.
I mean, my wife's love language is acts of service.
Is what?
Acts of service.
Acts of service. Okay.
And you know, I get pleasure out of giving pleasure. Okay. So I don't mind giving her acts of service. So. Okay. If that's, you know, cooking a. A nice meal at the house.
Okay.
You don't. We'll do that. We've been putting a lot of work in our backyard, so sometimes we'll just go back and just sit and just bask in like, yo, man, we did this.
Right?
You know, sometimes you gotta enjoy it. Yeah. And because you can always be looking at. I'm reading right now, Atomic habits.
Okay. Right.
I think. What's his name? Jimmy Clear. I don't know. Something like that.
Okay.
But anyways, it was recommended to me. And he was. He was saying in there, like, we spent a lot of time always being goal driven. Yeah. Instead of like system and process driven and just really focusing on the action and being in the moment.
The moment.
Because if you get the. The moment right, then everything else is, you know, it's gone. It's gone.
That's right.
You know what I'm saying? Yeah. So being still for us is reflecting, Appreciating where we've gotten to. Appreciating each other. Appreciating what I've sacrificed, what she sacrificed. Advice. You know, it's just. Just being however we can be. Still, sometimes just a drive, Right.
You know, just get in the car and just. Just peeling out. Right.
We still like to go look at big houses.
Yeah. Right.
Like what they do.
Right?
Straight up, they do that. Right. You know. Right. Wow.
Yep.
Now being still is so powerful. Right. Being present, being in the moment. I think it's something that a lot of us have overlooked, you know, in life because we're always thinking about the next thing tomorrow, Right. Or yesterday. What did I do wrong? What went wrong? And then it's like, okay, then the anxiety about the future. Well, I can. Would I be able to do this? Am I going to achieve this? You know, it's. You know, we get so distracted with all these things instead of just focusing on the now.
Yeah.
Because it's. Because today is what ultimately going to create your future.
Exactly.
Hey, bro, this right here, this will do it for you, bro.
Man, how hard is it? Put it down.
You know what I'm saying?
Put it down.
You'll be gone. Right?
Look, like right now I gotta check his message. Exactly, Right?
So he's really in it. Right?
That's what I'm saying. Put it down. Like as soon we wake up in the morning, until we turn around and be like.
Right. Like, why, that's my cute wife right there. Eye doctor trying on glasses. Yeah. You know, and she's practical and I'm like, man, go get the goatches.
I don't need all that.
Yeah.
She's like, I don't need all that. That's right.
I'll roll it in by four. Oh, exactly. Right? Yeah.
That's what's up. I wish she was able to join us today, but we know she got things going on.
Well, maybe she might pop up.
Yeah, okay.
Pop up.
That'll be awesome.
She's on Spring Road, so she ain't too far.
That's how we do it, right?
Yes.
Real, live and in action.
That's right.
I love it.
That's right.
I know, because I didn't get no like pre questions or Nothing. I don't know what y.
No, we. We real. It's time, too. We just. We just flow with it, you know, we don't. We don't rehearse nothing. We rarely talk about the show before the show. It's like what we. We say the topic.
Yeah.
Let it flow. You know what I'm saying? Especially when we got a guest, we want them to just be natural in it, you know what I mean? Tell your story. Become. We just.
We just flow with it, you know?
We don't. We don't rehearse nothing. We rarely talk about the show before the show. It's like what we. We say the topic.
Yeah.
Let it flow. You know what I'm saying? Especially when we got a guest, we want them to just be natural in it, you know what I mean? Tell your story. Be comfortable. Just do your thing.
I love both of y', all, man.
Yeah, that's what's up.
We love you too, man.
Absolutely. That's what's up. That's what's up.
You know, it's. It's interesting because you and I go way back, you know, all the way to high school, man. You know, it's. You know, a lot of times we say we're going on 30 years of our friendship. Right?
I was just gonna say, bro, what the hell you doing, man?
I mean.
Graduated in the late 1900s.
Right, right. But that's wisdom, though, man. You know?
No doubt.
We. We wise, man. We.
That's right. Y' all was on the football team together, right?
You know, we.
We ancient. That's. That's where. That's where wisdom comes from, right?
That's right.
You know, it's. It's profound to experience a lot of things that we've experienced in life, right. To. To get to the point where we are and, you know, to learn the things we've learned and experience the things we've experienced. So when we talk about, you know, mental health, what exactly does it actually mean? You know, there's. It's a. It's a phrase that's being tossed around a lot lately. Right? There's, you know, mental health awareness month. There's mental health this. You know, this next month. Yeah. So there's always. You know, mental health has been tossed around a lot in our modern day, especially, you know, through Covid, right. People. A lot of people lost their minds through Covid, right? Because people were forced to be stuck still. And people can manage being still with themselves. People can even, like, be with themselves because they're so Busy.
Right.
You know, waking up every morning, sitting in traffic, going to work, drinking coffee.
So what does that even mean though? Right? Lost their mind.
Yeah, exactly. Right. Well, people were out here, you know, domestic violence was at an all time high. Suicide has been at an all time high. Right. So that's what I mean. People have been like, losing it.
Yeah.
What we mean by losing it is doing the things that we as a society view as not good or as bad things. Right. You know, domestic violence, we consider that a bad thing. Right. Suicide is considered a bad thing. Right, Right. So, yeah, exactly.
It's forced to be in the house with your family.
With your family, the people.
Exactly. Like, literally, you didn't have to go to work, you know, you didn't have to worry about, you know, a lot of stuff. You could be at home watching Netflix, you know, eating. Everybody got stimulus checks, you got money, you got stimulus to just sit at the house. And people were losing it.
I mean, like how people expose them, you know? Right. I really don't want to be in this situation. Yeah. You have to make a choice on. Do you stay with the status quo or do you go after what's inside of you?
Exactly.
Me, I was. I was like, yo, the world's stopped.
Stop.
I gotta go nowhere. I ain't got to do nothing.
See what I'm saying? Up.
And some people still ain't went back to the office. Some people still, you know, working remotely. But I saw a lot of beautiful things in, in, in. In it, you know, like people being home, being present with their families, being, you know, communicating, see, tapping into their children. What's going on with you? Like, what's going on with school, what's going on in your life, you know, being. Being forced to sit down and get in tune with each other. I think, I think that was beautiful.
I think it was actually. I mean, Covid was necessary. I think we actually, as a world on a global. The fact that it was even global, I even think. I think it's bigger than actually what we think it was. I think it was like a reset. It really allowed us to. Yeah.
For some people, they didn't take advantage of it.
Right.
You know, they just kept on with they.
Cuz people were panicking, right. People were in a state of panic.
I mean, like mental health, like during the pandemic, like, hit our family really hard in multiple ways. It hit me one way, hit my wife one way, hit my son one way, you know?
Yeah.
And honestly, we're just now starting to come out of some of Those mindsets and situations that we were dealing with.
Yeah.
And that actually, you know, actually hit. I learned a lot about the mental health system.
Yeah.
And yeah, the mental health system is trash.
So talk about that a little bit more. Right. What was. Yeah. What was the thing that actually allowed you to, like I said, identify that there was some type of a mental health challenge?
Personally going through some things with, with our son, you know.
Okay.
Noticed like, you know, some things were off and he was having some, some serious, like, challenges and had to do some reality testing, you know, like what was, you know, kind of going on in life. And it was a minute where we couldn't find him, we didn't know where he was, you know, and we finally found him and he ended up in, in another state. Oh, wow. You know, and we had to get him back here. And like I saw this lady that was speaking on a TED Talk. Okay. And I. Oh, now my wife was FaceTiming, so speaking on a TED Talk. And she was here in Atlanta and I just started writing to her, writing to her, writing to her, writing to her. And she has sent me an email back and it said, hey, I'm sorry, I'm not taking on any new clients right now. Because one thing about like the mental health industry, therapists, the good ones then, they don't take insurance, so you just got to pay them out cash. So like, if you expect to have. I'm not gonna say this because, I mean, I don't want to make it to where it's impossible for anybody, but it's feels like that when you're going through it.
Yeah.
If you don't have the means to be able to afford the right treatment, health care, it's tough, man. You see, like, especially with the, it's happening more and more with our, with our youth.
Yeah.
And you see, I've never seen so many young people that's homeless. You, you know, when you're out and you see young people that's just talking to themselves, it's just trying to, you know, they. Trying to find themselves or whatever.
Exactly.
You know, and they don't always have the right means to be able to do it. And sometimes they come from well off families and maybe they're in the, in the mindset of where they don't need help. Because what I've learned is when a person is going through like a manic episode or just in one of those spells that he's dealing with because of his, his illness or what he has going on, they feel like they're doing the right thing for themselves.
Yes.
You know, and as when they become young adults, they have the autonomy to accept treatment or not accept treatment.
Yeah.
So it becomes very tricky. You still have to respect the person's.
Right.
Right. Even though, you know what. You know, that they potentially need, you still have to respect their rights of that. I don't want to do that. I don't want to take that medication because. Right. You know, finding the right medication is a whole nother challenge. Finding the right therapist is a whole. Another challenge.
Exactly.
Yeah. And then you staying. Same through the process.
That part. That part. Because it's. You need. They need support. They need a support system because it, like. Like we're saying, it is a mental illness. So they're not in the right state of mind. They don't necessarily know, you know, logically how to react.
Right.
You know, and some of these. You talk about children. Some. Some of these children are out here with parents who are going through it, you know, who are mentally ill.
Absolutely.
So they can't. They can't, you know, help their children go through it, because they're going through. And these children are left out here fending for themselves and are acting out and looking and just looking for love, looking for people in the wrong places.
Right.
To, you know, feel accepted or you feel like they can, you know, relate to somebody. And it's. It's just. It's sad.
And that's what I learned, too. I learned for certain illnesses. It could be hereditary.
Yeah, it could be hereditary. You know, and that's why we had these talks. That's why we have these intercourses, because we got to get it out here. People don't know what's going on. People don't know how to heal from trauma, because some people don't even realize that they have trauma.
But I'm so thankful a lot of it is always based upon trauma.
Yeah.
You know, and it could be something so simple as a car accident for one person. It could be molestation for another person.
Okay.
I mean, it could be losing us, losing someone.
Yeah.
Just not healing from it.
You know, Think about all the. The. The partners is specifically one that I lost at a early age that, like, I don't know if I still got. I still ain't got over My father, J.J. being killed, man. You know, it's just like I can remember when I was told, I can remember what I felt like. I could think that I was hearing his voice. You know what I'm saying?
Right.
Like, all that stuff that you go Through.
Wow.
You know, phone is bunking right now. Hotline.
Hey. Yeah. They feel the vibrations, you know.
Yeah, yeah.
That's very powerful. Because, you know, we. You know, when you mentioned that it's mostly trauma related, I think it all is trauma related. Right. To a certain type of capacity. Because even if even as we come into this world and as children, we actually are born into trauma, because we, you know, whatever your parents are going through at the time of conception through the pregnancy, through birth is actually transferred over to you.
Ancestral trauma.
That's what I'm saying. Right.
Bloodline. We already know what that means.
Exactly.
Right.
So I remember years ago, when I hear some music coming on, does that mean we.
You late as hell, need to take a break?
Is that what I'm hearing?
Now he playing In Need Neo. Now he ring.
Okay.
Okay. Yeah, let's do it. So we're gonna. We're gonna take a little moment.
Yes, yes.
We'll be back on Conscious Intercourse.
Yeah.
Conscious intercourse. Consciousness intercourse, actually. I like saying it.
We know.
You know, intertwining our spiritual existence to accelerate our evolution.
That's right.
Again, we got C.J. in the building. Karma.
Reclaimed karma.
Getting it right. Right.
Hey, y' all can follow us everywhere. At Reclaim Karma.
Yes.
Instagram is Tick Tock. That's Facebook.
Yeah.
Reclaim Karma.
Yeah. And I love the name. How'd y' all come up with that?
So we started out building custom furniture. We moved into a house. We didn't really have the money. Yeah. To furnish the house. And my wife has this illustrious design taste. And so everywhere was restoration hardware, you know, Z Galleries, the private collections.
Okay, okay.
All throughout Atlanta. And during that time period, that was when, like, reclaimed materials were just now starting to, like, really pop.
Okay.
And so I was it. A lot of the stuff just looked like people was like, oh, I can make that into the table. They found it on the side of the road and put it in there and put a 600 price tag on it for a coffee table. Right. You know, I saw a lot of stuff made out of pallet wood.
I love.
Okay.
I was like, yeah, I could build that, bro.
Straight up.
You know, Never. Never picked up. Never built any furniture in my life or whatever. I was like, I could build that.
Yeah.
And built it. And she posted on Facebook and somebody was like, oh, that's dope. Is that for sale? And she was like, yeah. And I was like, erase. Yep.
Right. Everything's listening.
And I sold a palette for 300.
Wow.
And at the time, I was with Pepsi in sales. And I started doing the math, and I was like, yo, we so extra money. Oh, yeah, it's up.
Let's get it.
That's what's up. That's what's up.
And then we always knew that, like, we had to. We. We knew we wanted to start a business, and we were trying to figure out how to incorporate the word karma into it. So, like, we deal with reclaimed materials, and karma is like, basically we find stuff.
Yeah.
You know what I'm saying? We make it good and we put it back out. So it's a circulating co as well. Just like karma, you know? So we recycle things, you know?
I like that.
Yep. That's how I reclaim karma.
That's what's up.
That's very creative, you know, Been able to tap into your, you know, creative side. Yeah. Your creative side. Right.
What comes natural, you know, without you having to think about it.
The creative.
That's our gift. That's what it is. That's our gifts.
Yeah.
Doing what you love.
Doing what you love and being able to do it with the people you love.
Yeah.
What better thing than that, you know?
Exactly.
That's what's up. That's what's up. That's awesome. So reclaim karma. How many years in business?
Inception? 2015. Okay. Yeah, since 2015, so just about a decade.
Oh, wow. That's amazing.
Any big projects coming up?
Working on a new build. Working on two new builds.
Okay.
Got a cool project coming up. It's like a 197 inch TV that comes out of the ground. Oh, yeah. That's pretty fly.
Dope.
But I think we're gonna end up incorporating the whole space and then building the pool house in the. In the back also.
Nice.
And just make it a whole, like, vibe back there. Because he's got a pool now, and they want to be able to have the TV come out the ground. Okay. You know, while you in the pool.
Okay.
But I'm like.
That's what I'm talking about.
You know, the way that we operate is we're. We're very holistic. So we're like, let's not just do the tv. Yeah. Let's plan the whole area out. That way, as you expl. Expand, it doesn't look like things were just piecemeal together.
Right.
Everything has to have a purpose. You know what I'm saying?
Right, right, right.
Intentional about it. Yeah.
That's what's up.
And do it. Right.
Yeah. Tapping into that creativity. Right. Is. It's so amazing. Like, I love to see how people can create things just out of nothing. Right. It's. It's our greatest gift as human beings. Our greatest, you know, possession is our ability to create.
Right. Because we're.
Yeah. This God. That's what I'm saying. That's. That's creation. Right?
Yeah.
Because we're creating each moment, moment by moment. We're creating, you know, a reality as gods in our own rights.
Yeah, that's right. And that's why we got to keep our, you know, our mental together, because we know that stress, it affects our creativity.
Yeah.
You know, when our mind is not right, we cannot be creative. We can't. Can't be our best, you know, mentally.
Yeah.
When we are stressing and stuff like that, you know, that we don't. We don't.
We don't operate well.
We don't operate well because. Because before, you know, we went on the break, we were talking about how, you know, ancestral trauma.
Right.
Generation trauma impacts us from the time we enter the world. Right. So it's almost like we're coming into this place with these things that are part of our incarnation, part of our experience. But it's like, for me, I'm beginning to learn that isn't that our purpose, to rise above these things? Right. Because you can't control the circumstances you come into. Some people is. It's more, you know, I guess it's deeper than others or more convoluted than others.
Right.
So it's like, why does some people have to experience what is considered about others a more trying experience, Right. Of coming into the world, into some type of a traumatic bro.
So I think. I think number one.
Yeah.
What? Don't break you. Make you, you know, you're not evolving, you dissolving. You know what I'm saying?
I like that.
I like that.
Well, I guess that's two things I said. One, right? Take that. Take that.
You know what I'm saying?
Right.
You're not dissolving.
You if you're not evolving.
You're dissolving if you're not evolving.
You heard it here first.
This CJ Original. I've been dropping that little bar around here, too. You know, get that on the T shirt@reclaim karma.com.
Yeah. Nah, that's powerful, bro.
But the other part is like, I feel as though a lot of times I get those. Like, yo, I've been in this moment.
Before all the time, right?
Yeah. So it almost feels like I'm here to learn a lesson. I didn't catch the.
The previous time around in this life.
You know what I'm saying?
Yeah.
So you ask, like, why do you have to go through these certain things is because maybe this time your lesson was resilience. Maybe the last time it was patience. Maybe it was to be aggressive. You were always passive in your past lives.
Okay.
Knowing that you were supposed to reach a certain level, but you wasn't aggressive enough to be able to go. Yeah, you know, go do it.
So what is the purpose to all of that? Why do we have to go through and learn these lessons? Right. That's the question that I ask myself. Like, why?
Right.
Why do we. Like you mentioned, if we have to come back? Right. So you pretty much insinuated. Insinuated that there is. That we live past lives or that we reincarnate, that there's something.
What it is. But I just know. I get the feeling I'll be like that. You've been here before. Something about to happen.
Yeah, exactly.
And I think we get stuck in trying to figure it out all the time. What is my purpose? Why am I here? Why did that happen? Why is this person. Just live, just be. Just. Just, you know, just move with integrity. You know, when you get those. When you get those moments and, you know, you have those thoughts and you get that deja vu, it's like. It's like confirmation.
Yeah.
You know, because the universe gives you that. It gives you confirmation through things like that, through thoughts, through feelings and through things and people that come around you. Right.
Okay.
But keep moving. It's like, don't get stuck and go in the rabbit hole because you're trying to figure out why. Why am I doing this?
But sometimes it's.
It's hard.
It's easier said than done. Especially like when we talk about mental health. You know, sometimes, like, chemically, you just not in the right place. Just, you know, at certain points of. Of a woman's life and a man's life, hormonally, they're just not there.
Yeah.
You know, and so you are not able to be your best self. So sometimes you need grace therapy. Grace.
Grace with yourself. You know, give yourself some time. Like you said, we always. It's we in the hustle and bustle. Give your. Give yourself time to just chill.
Hold up, bro. Hold up.
Trademark.
This is copywritten.
Trademark.
Trademark theft on 108.9.
What is this?
Right.
That's a good one. Right?
Well, we got to give ourselves grace. I mean, grace, you know, grace is important.
Yeah.
You know, and I, like, last year I saw a movie and it talked about how, you know, the mystery of life is not a problem to solve, but rather reality to experience.
That's right.
Right.
I love it.
So I'm just like, yo, right? You know, so it's like, that's why I watch movies, to get quotes, man.
It's like, I'll put me on the podcast, right?
I'll be straight up, right? So it's like this is. It's like a movie. We just gotta experience this thing, right. And just not be so attached to the feelings and emotions what's going to happen.
Right.
Not being attached to the outcomes. Exactly. Right. Just, you know, living life in this moment and cherishing every little thing in this particular moment.
Exactly.
That's, you know, that's ultimately. Because we talk about mental health and these traumas and all these things. Yes, we. They are here. They're part of our existence. But it's like, how do we then begin to overcome them or eradicate them? Right. So we could live and reach our fullest potential.
Human beings at his best, man. It's grace and time, right? You know, like, everything just takes. It just takes time, man. You know, like, you don't become great without time. You don't age without time. You don't figure out your spouse without time. I think, yes, we're right in society right now. You know, it's 15 seconds.
Because everybody wants gratification.
Popcorn, society.
It's like, I want it now. Technology, everything is just. Just speeding everything up. All right, all right, cj.
No glory without the story. Take notes of that.
I like that one too.
You know, that's real.
That's powerful. Right? So the story is part of the glory.
Yeah.
The journey.
Like you are mine.
You.
You. You're writing this book, you know, allegedly, you have. You have an amazing story and you get so frustrated. He gets so frustrated. Oh, this book should have been written. I should have been wrote. This book. I can't get into. The book is still unfolding.
Yeah. Why you put. You put my business.
Yeah.
Straight up.
It should have been done. Yes. But the story doesn't end.
It doesn't end. So I might have to do a part. I'm gonna do a series. You know, the. Part one. Let's do part one and then part two coming soon.
That's what I'm saying.
Straight up. Right. You know, so you're right. The.
Let it unfold.
Yeah. So it's the story, it's the movie. Like, literally, we're creating it as we.
There it is again.
We're getting it Good job, my man. Right. We're chopping it up.
Hilarious.
Right? It's hilarious. So. So it's. It's the beauty in the journey.
That's right.
Right. The collateral beauty in everything that we experience.
That's right.
And. And realize that it's all part of our evolution. It's all part of our creation to who we are and what we are experiencing. But it's like, how do you then get someone that's dealing with a lot of anxiety or depression. Right. From whatever, you know, reason. Right. Because it's a lot of different things that impact us. Right. Like how do you typically. How do we then help people? Because it's easier said than done. Like you said, it's the journey. But you got some people that are just in dark places, in deep, you know?
Yeah, you do, man. I. I know. Like, what was a breakthrough for us was acknowledgement. Okay. Patience. If you're the, if you're the family member.
Yeah.
Acknowledgement. Like, okay, this is happening. Right. You know, especially in our culture. We're doing better with it. But, you know, traditionally we've been quick to write people off. Like, yeah, he's just an. You know, he just got a problem. Yeah. You know, you know, they just go through some hard times before.
Exactly.
They get their stuff together and that's not always the case. So, you know, acceptance.
Yeah.
Patience.
Right.
Resources, for sure.
Yeah.
Yes.
You know, having the right resources to be able to get. Get in the right spaces. I thank God, actually, for covet when it hit. Yes. If it was going to affect our family at any time, at least it was during a time where the world had kind of stopped.
Exactly.
And we had an opportunity to really just buckle down and deal with it. Yeah. Look into different doctors, different treatments. Just. Man, we was looking at stuff. One spot was $16,000 a week.
What?
Man, this guy got himself comfort in itself.
Like, you want to go get therapy too?
16 racks a week. One was like, we got the best price in town. 28 grand a month for the first month. It was like a 90 day program.
That's ridiculous.
You know, and a lot of, just on our side, a lot of, A lot of prayer and, and faith. I believe that, you know, having faith and that, man, things just gonna work itself out and always believing that the good.
There you go.
Shine through everything. It always work itself. It always works. It always has. So I'm not. Why should I think any other way?
So. Yeah.
You know, I really don't stress over things. I mean, of course, you know, things hit you like, oh. But for the most part, I'm like, man, God, got. Yeah. You know, it's gonna work itself out. How? However it work out, it's gonna work out.
And that's where it starts with, though, that. That thinking like that. That's how it works itself out. By first thinking like that, knowing that you're gonna be good. Yeah, right? You always. I. I always been good. Why? Why? It's gonna stop now.
Yeah, right.
Yeah, that's profound. Ultimately, you know, you talked about resources, but one of the things that, you know, alluding to what we talked about earlier, the tools as well, right? We got to be aware of the tools that we can leverage to help us out of these, you know, now, right? Yeah, that's profound. Ultimately, you know, you talked about resources, but one of the things that, you know, alluding to what we talked about earlier, the tools as well, right? We got to be aware of the tools that we can leverage to help us out of these, you know, trying times or difficulties or challenges, because ultimately, you know, tools such as, when I'm talking. Trying times or difficulties or challenges, because ultimately, you know, tools such as, when I'm talking about tools, I'm talking about, you know, modalities, right? Healing modalities, where you talk about, you know, whether it's meditation, whether or not it's yoga, whether it's, you know, there's a whole new world that's opening up with psychedelics, right? There's, you know, shrooms, right, Bro? I mean, everybody keeps talking about them, right? I'm like, yo, like, you know, I mean, I'm not. My tools. I'm talking about, you know, modalities, right? Healing modalities, where you talk about, you know, whether it's meditation, whether or not it's yoga, whether it's, you know, there's a whole new world that's opening up with psychedelics, right? There's, you know, shrooms, right? I'm like, yo. I'm like, yo, think about it. Think about it, right? I saw Mario Brothers this week, right, with the children, right? Like, they was Mario Brothers used to take shrooms and become invincible. Remember? They would get bigger brothers, like they were trying to tell us something, right? So this whole world is opening up right now where people are tapping with shrooms are, bro. I mean, everybody keeps talking about them, right? I'm like, yo, like, you know, I mean, mushrooms on the Bible, right? Exactly. Mana, right? So people are healing. People are finding a lot of natural things from trauma, from shrooms, and certain types of psychedelics. You know, I mean, that's what I'm saying.
Somebody told me they and Mary Jane, Papa Smurf.
Wait, what?
Say allegedly, but we don't know what they touch. I'm like, yo. I'm like, yo, think about it. Think. Think about it. Right? I saw Mario Brothers this week. Right. With the children. Right. Like they was Mario Brothers used to tik tok. They said it was some type of shroom type thing.
But I saw him eating. I saw something. But you seen. I seen the demise happen that night.
But we, that's the thing. We have to be careful as well because there's a lot of things out there tampering with. There's a lot of things out there that people are putting out and say, oh, this is this. This is that we. So we have to be very careful about what, you know, society and you know, people that have a certain agenda. We can't, you know, we can't deny that there's a certain agenda by certain people to push certain things forward. Right?
Yeah. It's like weed, right?
Yeah.
But it's all different kinds of, you know.
Exactly.
Speaking in tomorrow. 420.
Exactly. Yes. 44 dub. Right. So but ultimately, you know, there are just like how we have food to heal certain physical ailments. Right.
Let that food be that medicine.
Exactly. But why can't we believe that there's also food specifically for our mental well being as well. Right.
So I have learned that there is.
Yes, exactly. Right. So tapping into that because, you know, like I'm saying there's rooms and become invincible. Remember, they will get bigger brothers.
Yeah.
Like they were trying to tell us something. Right. So this whole world is opening up right now where people are tapping with shrooms or mushrooms on the Bible. Right? Exactly. Mana. Right. So people are healing. People are finding a lot of natural things from trauma, from shrooms. And you know, people that have a certain agenda.
Yeah.
We can't, you know, we can't deny that there's a certain agenda by certain people to push certain things forward. Right?
Yeah. It's like weed, right?
Yeah.
But it's all different kinds of, you.
Know, today ain't saying exactly speaking it tomorrow.
420.
Yes, four four dub right. So but ultimately, you know, there are just like how we have food. I believe that there's some truth in everything. Right. Whether it's shrooms, whether it's some type of psychedelic psilocybin, whether it's. There's a lot of just information out there to heal certain physical illness. Right.
Let that food Be that medicine.
Exactly.
But why can't. So you have to be able to decipher, decipher what is for you and what is not. What. What may be good for me, it may not necessarily be good for. For you or for, you know, for you. But ultimately saying certain types of psychedelics, you know, I mean, that's what I'm saying.
Somebody told me they and Mary J.
We believe that there's also food specifically for our mental well being as well. Right.
So I. Papa Smurf.
Wait, what?
Allegedly. But we don't know what they took. They said it was some type of shroom type thing.
But I saw him eating. I saw something. But you know, seen them. I've seen the demise happen that night.
But we have over here. That's the thing. We have to be careful. A matter of being in tune with our higher selves.
Right.
And so we have to be able to quiet down the noise and distractions so we could be in tune with whatever is meant for us to be.
Able to tap into the tool sometimes, you know, like, you can go a holistic route.
Yeah.
But sometimes you need to go a chemical route, perhaps especially if you're way too late. Yeah. In order to be able to. You might just need something and learn that there is.
Yes, exactly.
Right.
So tapping into that because, you know, like I'm saying, there's. I believe that there's some truth in everything. Right. Whether it's shrooms, whether it's some type of psychedelic psilocybin, whether it's. There's a lot of just information out there.
Right.
So you have to be able to decipher.
Decipher what is for you then stronger.
Yeah.
Because.
Yeah.
The. The situation is that dire at that for as well.
Because there's a lot of things. There's a lot of things out there that people are probably putting out and say, this is diary, right. It's, you know, it's. It's. What do you call it? It's traumatic. It's what, you know, the e. Like what do you call the trauma centers where you know, if you like you bust your head wide open, they fly you to it to a trauma center. It's kind of like that. It's a. Something that needs. It's an immediate attention. So you got to do what you got to do and oh, this is this, this is that. So we have to be very careful about what, you know, society and what is not what. What may be good for me may not necessarily be good for you or for, you know, for You. But ultimately, it's a matter of being in tune with our higher selves.
Right.
And so we have to be able to quiet down the noise and distractions so we could be in tune with whatever is meant for us to be able to tap into.
Sometimes, you know, like, you can go a holistic route.
Yeah.
But sometimes you need to go a chemical route.
And, you know, people that have a certain agenda, we can't, you know, we.
Can'T perhaps especially be way too late.
Yeah. In order to be able to. You might just need something.
Deny that there's a certain agenda by certain people to push certain things forward. Right.
Yeah. But don't take it to numb yourself. Like, some people, like, do drugs or whatever, to numb themselves.
Well, so I'm speaking more so specifically about mental health.
Yeah.
Medicine, all that. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. So, yeah.
Because people don't want to feel. People take stuff so they don't have to feel, so they don't have to process.
Well, not necessarily, but it's, for me.
For example, stronger because.
Yeah.
The. The situation is that dire at that.
It's a. Dire. Right. It's. It's, you know, it's. It's. What do you call it? It's traumatic. It's what, you know, the e. Like, what do you call the trauma centers where, you know, if you, like, you bust your head wide open, they fly you to. To a trauma center. It's kind of like that. It's a. It's something that needs. It's an immediate attention. So you got to do what you got to do in the.
But don't take it to numb yourself. Like, some people, like, do drugs or whatever to numb themselves.
Well, so I'm speaking more so specifically about.
Now I'm going to share my little story. I remember I was diagnosed as having generalized anxiety.
Okay.
Right. And I was like, what the hell does that mean? Like, you know, so the therapist, you know, my wife and I went to marriage counseling, and within 30 minutes, he. Based on, you know, we shared our problems, our issues. He diagnosed me as being mental health, medicine, all that.
You know what I'm saying? Yeah.
So, yeah, people don't want to feel. People take stuff so they don't have to feel, so they don't have to process.
Well, not necessarily, but for me, for example.
Right. Yeah.
But it's all different kinds of, you.
Know, anxious and having a generalized anxiety disorder. And he told me that was based on a chemical example. I'm sure my little story. I remember I was diagnosed as having generalized anxiety. Okay, Right. And I was like, what the hell does that mean? Like, you know, so the therapist, you know, my wife and I went to marriage counseling. Exactly.
Speaking it tomorrow, 4:20.
Yes. Within 30 minutes. He based on, you know, we shared our problems, our issues. He diagnosed me as being for dub. Right. So but ultimately, you know, there are just like how we have food to heal certain physical illness. Right.
Let that food be that medicine.
Exactly. But why can't we anxious and having a generalized anxiety disorder. And he told me that was based on a chemical imbalance that can only be resolved with some type of chemical.
Right.
So, you know, I took it kind of hard because I felt like, I kind of felt like the R word, you know, in that moment. I was like, yo, what you mean? He believed that there's also food specifically for our mental well being as well. Right.
So I learned that there is.
Yes, exactly. Right. So tapping into that because you know, like I'm saying there's. I believe that there is some truth in everything. Right. Whether it's shrooms, whether it's some type of psychedelic psilocybin, whether it's. There's a lot of just information out there. Like I. He was just like, well, so I told him how I used to smoke weed through college and things of that nature. He was like, well, you were self medicating, but weed is no longer legal. But I got this anti anxiety pill that I could subscribe to you. So, you know, I took it kind of hard. It took me a minute. You know, I called my boy, I was like, yo, Deuce. I was like, yo, they say now I'm anxious. He's like, man, Kadima, you tripping, man. You're a black man in America.
Of course you're anxious, right?
Yeah, but it's like, but I started taking on and you know, I remember being at work one day talking to a co worker and telling her like, man, she's like, what's wrong with you? I was like, man, I just feeling some type of way I got to take these anti anxiety meds. She's like, you tripping about that? She's like, man, our whole department is on something. Everybody got everybody taking something. So it's almost like for us to just function in this artificial world, right? So we have to be, we have to tweak so we are naturally not in an alignment with this world that's been created for.
Right.
So you have to be able to decipher, decipher what is for you. Yeah. So now for us to fit into the world, we have to be able to now supplement our mental state with some type of a chemical.
I think there's.
You have level and what is not what. What may be good for me, it may not be good for you or for, you know, for you. But ultimately it's a matter of being in tune with our higher selves.
Right.
And so we have to be able to quiet down the noise and distractions so we could be in tune with whatever is meant for us to be able to tap into as a tool. Yes.
I think there's certain levels where you can holistically get it. Right.
Yeah.
Right. And then there's other levels where you need some medical assistance. You know, I mean, take. Take, you know, people like Great. Van Gogh, Basquiat, you know. Yeah. That, you know, either committed suicide or cut their ears off.
Damn.
That's a. That's a. That's a thought disorder. And sometimes you just don't have the right times, you know, like, you can go a holistic route.
Yeah.
But sometimes you need to go a chemical route, perhaps.
Especially if you. Way too late.
Yeah. In order to be able to. You might just need some dopamine levels are balanced inside of you to be able to even get to a place where you can start ex. Experimenting with holistic ways so that you can move yourself. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. Off of the medication, per se. Or. But for some people, it's just like mental health is really no different than stronger. Yeah. Because the. The situation is that dire at that than somebody that has. Not necessarily type 2 diabetes.
Yeah. But it's a diary. Right. It's, you know, it's. It's. What do you call it? It's traumatic. It's what.
You know, the E type. What is it? Type one.
Type one. Yeah.
That's just the way that they. Their body is. Is made that they have that. And so they. They take insulin or they. They take others, you know, holistic stuff to be able to help them. But a lot of times the insulin is what they need.
Right.
For some people that have, you know, a mental health issue where they need to take that medication in order to balance them out. Right. I've seen it firsthand because we were not like, on board with just taking meds and.
Yeah.
Try to, you know, dope my son up. Like, that's. Now we ain't on that, you know.
But that's the first thing they tell you to do.
Yeah. At a. At a certain point, it gets to a place of where the Right.
Like what do you call the trauma centers where you know, if you like you bust your head wide open, they fly you to a trauma center.
Then somebody that has not necessarily type 2 diabetes.
Yeah.
But type. Was it type 1 diabetes?
I. Yeah, yeah, type 1 diabetes.
That's just the way that they, their body is, is made the. That they have that. And so they, they take insulin or they, they take others, you know, holistic stuff to be able to help them. But a lot of times the insulin is what they need. Medication has made all the difference in our lives.
But from my understanding as well, it's kind of like that it's something that needs, it's an immediate attention. So you got to do what you got to do in medication is simply a formulation from nature within itself. Yeah, no, actually all of it. My understanding is that actually these scientists, a lot of information that we have.
Was taken, but don't take it to numb yourself. Like some people like do drugs or.
Whatever from ancient Kemet, ancient Africa, where they would go and sit with the medicine man in these.
Remember to numb themselves.
Well, so I'm speaking more so specifically about.
Right.
For some people that have, you know, a mental health issue, they need to take that medication in order to balance them out. Right. I've seen it firsthand. Cuz we were not like on board with just taking meds and try to, you know, dope my son up. Like n. We ain't on that.
You know, medicine people. It's all just information from the past, from nature that we've concocted and made.
It into a. I wouldn't disagree.
Chemical version. A chemical version of it to make it easily accessible and to monetize it.
Right, exactly.
So to me it's like we got to tap into what is. It was initially like whatever that book.
Is in the Vatican somewhere though.
That's what I'm saying. We got to get that book. That's what I'm saying.
Right, yeah. At a, at a certain point it gets to a place of where the right mental health and medicine, all that. You know what I'm saying? Yeah.
So yeah, people don't want to feel.
Hey, it's there. But we, we, we ultimately know is that we were given the, the tools.
People take stuff so they don't have to feel, so they don't have to process.
Well, not necessarily, but it's.
For me, for example, medication has made all the difference in our lives.
But from my understanding as well, medication is simply a formulation from nature within itself. Yeah, no, actually all of it My understanding is that actually these scientists, a lot of the information that we have was taken. I'm going to share my little story. I remember I was diagnosed as having generalized anxiety by God, by nature. To he address all of these things. Right. There's all this, you know, stuff talking about, you know, ayahuasca and all the stuff that's going on. Right. You know, there used to be these, you know, from my understanding, even with the ayahuasca, I'm not ever heard of that. But there's that.
Is that the flag from ancient Kemet.
Ancient Africa, where they would go and sit with the medicine man in these men. Right. And I was like, what the hell does that mean? Like, you know, so the therapist, you know, my wife and I went to marriage counseling. Yes. The flowers and yeah. You know, in Amazon that they discovered. And you have this medicine people. It's all just information from the past, from nature that we've concocted and made.
It into a. I wouldn't disagree.
Chemical version. A chemical version of it to make it easily accessible and to monetize it.
Right, exactly.
So to me, it's like we got to tap into what it was initially ceremony and this exact euphoric experience. You out of body experience. You know, you kind of step outside of yourself and you kind of see things. You become one with all pervasive reality, all love. And you know, and it's supposed to be. A lot of times it heals.
People say he turned into a tree and they. They buried him underneath the tree, became part of the tree.
Exactly. Right. Yeah.
So actually like whatever that book is in the Vatican somewhere, though.
That's what I'm saying. We got to get that book. That's what I'm saying. Right. And within 30 minutes, he. Based on, you know, we shared our problems, our issues. He diagnosed me as being. Hey, it's there. But we just, we. We ultimately know is that we were given the things, the tools, all the stuff that's going on. I don't know how, you know, what's. What's the stuff we were talking about the other day with the stuff that they put people to sleep too, and anxious and having a generalized anxiety disorder. And he told me that it was based on a chemical imp. By God, by nature, to he address all of these things. Right. There's all this, you know, stuff talking about, you know, ayahuasca and all the stuff that's going on.
Right.
You know, the balance that can only be resolved with some type of chemical. Right. So, you know, I Took. No, it's a, it's a. Nah man. There's stuff, you know, you know, you know, sometimes you have to. It's. They use it for. As a form of anesthesia. The kind of. There used to be these, you know, from my understanding, even with the ayahuasca. I'm not ever heard of that. But there's that.
Is that the flat calm you down.
Before they actually administer. It's not like morphine. That's more of a pain. Ah yes, the flowers and yeah. You know, in Amazon that they discovered. And you have this kind of hard because I felt like, I kind of felt like the R word. You know, in that moment I was like yo, what you mean? Oh well, it's a form of anesthesia. I know my son had to get.
Oh, ketamine.
Ketamine, yes. Ceremony and this exact euphoric experience. You out of body experience. You know, you kind of step outside of yourself. You. You kind of see things. You become one with all pervasive reality, all love. And so for example, ketamine is synthetic chemical. But there's like these clinics that are coming up with these modern day healing modalities where they use ketamine treatment so that you go into a facility, they inject you with ketamine and let you sit there and they monitor you and you go through these, you know, out of body type experiences to where you resolve all your trauma. It's like, you know, and it's supposed to be. A lot of times it heals.
People say he turned into a tree and they.
It allows you to step back out of yourself.
So they were doing that micro dosing back.
Exactly.
They buried him underneath the tree, became part of the tree.
Exactly. Right. Yeah. So there's like I. He was just like, well so I told him how I used to smoke weed through college and things of that nature. He was like, well you were self medicating but weed is no longer legal. But I got this anti anxiety pill that I could subscribe to you. So you know, I took it kind of hard. It took me a minute. You know, I called my boy, I.
Was like yo, that's when it started and correct. Well, I guess they said it was just opening up doors, that the society.
All the stuff that's going on. I don't know how you know what's, what's the stuff we're talking about the other day with the stuff that they put people to sleep to. No, it's a, it's a. Nah man. There's. There's stuff you know, didn't need Exactly.
You know.
Yeah. So sometimes we wonder is it. You know. You know. You know, sometimes you have to. It's. They use it for. As a form of anesthesia to kind of. We also ultimately understand and know and recognize that this society has been created. Deuce. I was like, yo, they say now I'm anxious. He's like, man, Kadima, you tripping, man. You calm you down before they actually administer. It's not like morphine. That's more of a pain. Ah.
This is.
And it's been molded to be a certain way to capitalize humanity. Right.
Right.
By the power. But those that know. Right. So is it perhaps the reason why we're not a. We don't have access to these types of.
Oh yeah.
Things modality is to keep us in a place of.
Absolutely.
Yeah.
Of subservience.
It's just like.
Oh well, it's a form of anesthesia. I know my son had to getamine. Ketamine.
Yes, Ketamine.
So for example, ketamine is synthetic chemical. But there's like these clinics that are coming up with these like man, in America, of course you right.
Yeah.
But it's like. But I started taking on. And you know, I remember being at work one day talking to a co worker and telling her like, man, she's like, what's wrong with you? I was like, man, I just feeling some type of way I got to take these anti anxiety meds. She's like, you tripping about that? She's like, man, modern day healing modalities where they use ketamine treatment so that you go into a facility, they inject you with ketamine and let you sit there and they monitor you and you go through these. You know, our whole department is on something. Everybody got everybody taking songs. So it's almost like for us out of body type experiences to where you resolve all your trauma. It's like it allows you to step back out of yourself.
So they were doing that micro dosing back.
Exactly.
Insurance business, our healthcare. They don't want you to holistically heal yourself. They want you to be dependent on their medications.
Yeah, right. So. Yeah, so. So exactly. So is it to me, is it just a lack of information? My people should perish from the lack of knowledge. It seems like mental health literally is a lack of information because you know, once we. If we were aware all this time that we.
That's when it started and Correct. Well, I guess they said it was just opening up doors that the society didn't Need.
Exactly.
You know.
Yeah. So sometimes we wonder is it, you know, we spend in school learning about parabolas and all this crap that we learn if we also ultimately understand and know and recognize that this society has been created. Spent most of that which at least a good portion of that time learning about mental health and treatments and trauma and it's been molded to be a certain way to capitalize just function in this artificial world.
Right.
So we have to be. We have to comment how it impacts us. Right. Ultimately we'll be able to heal each other. Right. So tweak. So we are naturally not in an alignment with this world that's been created for us. Yeah.
But let's say this, right. So we know a couple of families who have a child that has like both serious physical.
Yes.
You know. Yeah.
So now for us to fit into the world we have to be able to now supplement humanity. Right.
Right.
By the power. But those that know. Right. So is it perhaps the reason why we're not a. We don't have access to these types of.
Oh yeah.
Things. The modality is to keep up.
But what's the word for it?
Ailments.
Ailment, correct.
Yes. Yeah. Our mental state with some type of a chemical.
I think there's.
You have levels that's in a place of.
Absolutely, yeah.
Of subservience. It's just like no more. Yeah.
Can't say that. No more.
Special needs.
There you go. Special needs.
Special needs.
You know and like there's some things like. Like you can't fix it.
Yeah.
But is it something to be fixed? It may not be something to be. Insurance, business, our health care. They don't want you to holistic physically heal yourself. They want you to be dependent fix.
Yeah.
It made something.
Maybe that's. That's their experience to come and learn whatever lesson.
Yeah. Because everybody's trying to fix something. Like why is it. Oh, they're not normal. Who said. Who said they're not on their medications?
Yeah, so. Yeah, so. So exactly. So is it to me is it just a lack of information? My people should perish from the lack of knowledge. It seems like mental health a little normal.
I feel you on that.
You know what I'm saying? Like it on that you just Because.
I think when a person is in harm of it is in.
Is in risk is a lack of information. Because you know, once we. If we were aware all this time that we spend in school learning about parabolas and all this crap that we learn if we to it. Yes.
I think there's certain levels where you can holistically of harming themselves others.
Yes.
I think there is something that needs to be.
This is true.
Get it right.
Yeah.
Right. And then there's other levels where you need some fix and worked upon. I mean, all addressed.
Right. Yeah.
Address all these mass shootings, you know, medical assistance. You know, I mean, take, take.
You know, people spend most of that, at least a good portion of that time learning about mental health and treatments and trouble. Exactly. I mean, they're all mental health related.
It was like.
And how it impacts us. Right. Ultimately we'll be able to heal each other. Right.
So like greats. Van Gogh, Basquiat, you know. Yeah, that. You know. But let's say this, right? So we know a couple of families who have a child that has like.
Five like all happening at the same time in different cities. Children just shooting up in crowds. Like, is it. It's like, is it a coincidence?
It's almost like it's both serious, physical.
Yes.
You know, ill. Not illness. But what's the word for it?
Ailments.
Ailment, Correct.
Yes. Yeah. No, Some say we don't do the R word no more.
Yeah, I can't say that no more.
Special needs.
There you go.
Special needs. Knees, you know, and like, there's some things like. Like you either committed suicide or cut their ears off.
Damn.
That's design. You know what I'm saying? Like, nothing is a coincidence. Like all this is happening.
I mean, but they're also being desensitized, you know. You watching Netflix? Exactly. You're watching tv. Netflix. It's not that, you know, it's.
It's a lot of murders and stuff on TV too, bro.
Yeah, I mean, we. That's what I'm saying. It's been happening, but that's a.
That's a thought disorder. And sometimes you just don't have the right dopamine levels or balance inside of you to be able to even get to a place.
I think it's more documented now. Like, we had our, you know, social media. I mean, there was stuff that was happening even when we were growing up. We just didn't tap into it as much because the information was not readily accessible.
Can't fix it.
Yeah, but is it something to be fixed? It may not be something to be fixed. Yeah, it may something.
Maybe that's. That's their experience to come and learn whatever lessons. Yes.
Where you can start experimenting with holistic ways.
Because everybody's trying to fix something. Like why. Oh, they're not normal. Who said. Who said? They're not like that, right?
Very graphic, man. When Ricky got shot, bro.
Yeah. Ricky was rough, man. That had me in the tears, man. You saw it coming. Ricky was.
You can't tell me that when you, when you saw Juice, bro.
Not normal.
I feel you on that.
You know what I'm saying?
Like you just Because I think when a person is. You want to be Bishop, man.
That's what I'm saying, bro.
I felt like I wanted to be Bishop.
Yeah.
No, and harm of it is in is a risk of harming themselves or harming others.
Yes.
I think there is something that needs to be.
This is true.
I mean, I'm with you, man.
Yeah.
Why though?
Wow.
Because it's glorified, right?
Fix and worked upon. I mean addressed, right? Yeah. Address all these mass shootings, you know, so that you can move yourself, you know what I'm saying?
Yeah.
Off of the medication. Gangsters.
Gangsters are glorified, Right. You know, we all grew up on Scarface, right. You know, this is glorified to be, you know, Tony Montana. Right. It's glorified to be the gangster in the rap boss.
Right?
We grew up glorifying. Exactly. I mean they're all mental health related.
Was like per se or. But for some people it's just like mental health is really no different.
That type of lifestyle, it's part of our condition, you know, desensitized desensitization.
Then somebody that has not necessarily type 2 diabetes of our people.
Right. So we begin to become aware of these things. Even like, you know, there was a documentary a while back on Netflix about the social dilemma and how the impact of social media is having on our mental state of being and our relationships as human beings. Cuz now we are five like all.
Happening at the same time in different cities.
Speaking for this validation, like people, you could post something if you don't get enough likes. Now you're.
You're dazing children, just shooting up in crowds. Like is it. It's like, is it a coincidence? It's almost like it's type.
What is it? Type 1 diabetes.
Type 1?
Yeah, type 1 diabetes. That's just the way that they.
Oh man, you know, your day's messed up. I've experienced it where I post something. I'm like, damn, I didn't get enough.
I got only design, you know what I'm saying? Like nothing is a coincidence. Like all this is happening.
I mean, but they're also only got 10 likes.
We all been there.
Not my day. It's like, damn. I'm like, man, like, you know, and somebody else you like, oh, they're not. They got 10, 000 likes. They ain't better than me. Like what? Being desensitized, you know? You watching Netflix? Exactly. If you're watching TV and Netflix, it's not that, you know, it's. It makes them better. So we get into this, like, we don't even. We're desensitized. We've been like, yeah, bro, it's tormented. It's a. It's a mental torment. It's really.
Hell, yeah.
Right? They're creating hell within our state of mind, right? No, heaven is here. Right? But it's about being. Becoming aware and conscious. That's what conscious intercourse is so important.
Being conscious of your body is. Is made that they have that. And so they. They take insulin. A lot of murders and stuff on tv, too, bro.
Yeah, I mean, we. That's what I'm saying. It's been happening, but I think it's more documented now. Like, we had our, you know, social media. I mean, there was stuff that was.
Or they. They take others, you know, holistic stuff to be able to help them. But a lot of times, the insulin is what they need.
Right?
For some people that have, you know, a mental health issue.
But exactly what he's. What we're experiencing, right? What we're experiencing, Right. Not for real. Like, straight up. Right. Becoming aware and conscious of these things happening. Even when we were growing up, we just didn't tap into it as much because the information was not readily accessible. Then we could be able to create a platform. There you go. Right?
They need to take that medication in order to balance them out.
Right? I've seen the first handle like that, right?
Graphic, man. When Ricky got shot, bro.
Yeah, Ricky. Oh, snap.
I cannot. Damn.
Right.
Mike might be one of the best.
We all cry.
That had me in the tears, man.
So then you can't tell me that when you. When you saw Juice, bro, you right. Like, not really, right?
The one about to make it out the hood.
I didn't want to be Bishop, man.
That's what I'm saying, bro.
I feel like I wanted to be Bishop. Yeah.
Yo, I'm about to get out. But this is exactly ptsd, right?
You know, I mean, they keep pushing all this trauma. I mean, Trauma.
Yes.
Now we get this.
This is life.
This is all day long, every day through the door, the first thing in the morning, because we were not like, on board with just taking meds.
And.
Yeah, I'll Meet you, man. Yeah. Wow.
Wow, though.
Because it's glorified, right?
Gangsters.
Gangsters are glorified, right? You know, Squirrel grew up on Scarface, right? You know, this is glorified to be, you know. Yeah. You're seeing this stuff.
We just keep scrolling like it's nothing. Oh, just another one.
Yeah. You know, dope my son up. Like, listen. Nah, we ain't on that.
You know, Tony Montana, right? It's glorified to be the gangster in the rap, right? We grew up glorifying.
I shot like, they shot 97 times. He got hit 45.
Damn.
And I saw the. I was like, yeah, at a. At a certain point, it gets to a place of where the. Right. Oh, I wasn't expecting to see that.
Exactly, man.
But then I feel. I feel like I have to protect my brain by not looking.
Not even looking.
But it's like a car crash, that type of lifestyle. It's part of our condition, you know, desensitized.
This desensitization medication has made all the difference. Yeah. In our lives.
But from my understanding as well, doing.
A disservice to that person. Just like, you know, Mammy did for.
Her baby, you know, of our people. Right. So we begin to become aware of these things. Even like, you know, there was im.
You know, like the world gotta.
Gotta see what's going on. That's right.
The documentary a while back on Netflix about the social dilemma and how the impact of social media is having on our mental state of being in our relationships as human beings. Because now we are seeking for this validation. Like people. You could post something if you don't get enough likes. Now your days. Medication is simply a formulation from nature within itself.
Yeah.
No, actually all of it.
Oh, man.
You know, your day is messed up. I've experienced it where I post something. I'm like, damn, I didn't get enough. I got only my understanding is that actually these scientists. A lot of information that we have was taken. No.
She's like, no, I want them to see what they did to my baby. You know, I want them to see. Yeah, yeah.
But ultimately you have to be responsible for what those images do to our subconscious, Right?
Absolutely.
Because ultimately all of this stuff is going into our subconscious mind and it's driving us and impacting us at all times. Even the times we come from ancient Kemet, ancient Africa. Africa. Where they would go and sit with the medicine man in these. Only got 10 likes.
We all been there.
Now my day is like, damn. I'm like, man, like, you Know, I care about it. Right, right.
So porn.
Exactly. Right. Trauma porn.
Right.
Whatever version of it you're talking about. Right, absolutely. So it's. Mental health is really about medicine, people. It's all just information from the past, from nature that we've concocted and made it into. Exactly. And somebody else, you're like, oh, they got 10,000 likes. They ain't better than me. Like what? Us being aware and conscious of the. The external stimuli.
Right.
Controlling the narrative of the extent of the external stimuli and how they impact our narratives of who we are and how we view ourselves. Because one of the biggest, you know, when I is just like earlier in the show I talked about, makes them better. So we get into this, like we don't even. We're desensitized. We've been like, love being the highest vibrational force.
That's right.
Shame is actually the lowest. Yeah, bro. It's tormented. It's a. It's a mental torment. It's really hell.
Yeah.
Right, right. So, you know, but shame is the lowest because from shame, even, you know, we're gonna, you know, getting ready to close out on this. There's a phenomenal documentary on. On Netflix. I haven't finished watching it yet, but it's called Stutz. It's about this therapist. Yeah. Jonah Hill. You know, interviews, you know, creates a film about hysteria. Hell within our state of mind. No, heaven is here. Right. But therapists and the tools, as the therapists use. Use to help him deal with, you know, shame for the most part. Because Jonah Hill, you know, he's a big guy, so he dealt with a lot of weight issues. You know, when he's about being. Becoming aware and conscious. That's what conscious intercourse is so important. Being conscious of what exactly what he's. What we're experiencing. Right. What we experienced. He was 14, he was big, he's fat. He was picked on him.
And through all his success, he was, I wouldn't disagree.
A chemical version of it to make it easily accessible and to monetize it.
Right, exactly.
Yeah. So to me, it's like we got to tap into what it was initially extremely unhappy with himself.
Right.
Because he was still stuck as that 14 year old that was getting. Right. No, for real, like straight up. Right. Becoming aware and conscious of these things.
Whatever that book is in the Vatican somewh though.
That's what I'm saying. We got to get that book. That's what I'm saying. Right. Then we could be able to create a platform. There you go. Right. The Fat kid. So that literally through all the success being of movie star. Oh snap.
I cannot. Damn.
Hey, it's there. But we just, we. We ultimately know is that we were given the, the tools, right?
Mike might be one of the best.
We all cry money, wealth, all that stuff. Women. He was still unhappy with himself and was unhappy, right? Because his shadow, that shadow of that 14 year old fat kid that was picked on was still within himself and he was rejecting that part of himself.
The one about to make it out the hood.
So a lot of times we walk in life and potentially our mental issues are the rejection of those things that are shameful.
I'm about to get out. But this is exactly ptsd, right?
You know, to us, trauma. Exactly. It's a form. Exactly. No, I mean, so we have to accept that trauma. Yeah, yeah, so. But we now have to accept those trauma.
I mean, they keep pushing all this trauma. I mean, trauma.
Yes.
Now we get traumas though.
So it's almost like we cannot. So what happens is we're taught to say, oh, this trauma is here.
This is life.
This is all day long, day, every day.
Door. No, first thing in the morning, bad thing happens. Detach from it, disown it. Right? What we actually have to really, by God, by nature, to he address all of these things, right? There's realize is we actually have to become one with it. Because like you said, it's part of your journey. It's the, the you get on your phone, you're seeing the stuff.
We just keep scrolling like it's nothing, just another one.
Glory is in the story, right?
That's right.
That's right.
Because hold on, you mess it up, bro. The stories in the shot, like they shot 97 times.
He got hit 45. Damn. And I saw the.
I was like all this, you know, stuff talking about, you know, ayahuasca and all the stuff that's going on.
Right.
You know, there used to be these, you know, from my understanding, even with the ayahuasca, I'm not ever heard of that. But there's that.
Is that the flower?
Yes, the flowers. And yeah. You know, in Amazon that they discovered.
And you have this. Oh, I wasn't expecting to see that one.
Exactly, man.
But then I feel, I feel like glory.
Nah, man, there is no glory.
No.
No story.
No glory, no story.
Okay.
All right. So the story is the trauma. Yes, the story is the trauma. And you must become accepted, love and embody your story of trauma so you could prevail and ascend and consciously create the world.
I have to protect my brain by not looking.
Not even looking.
But it's like a car crashing reality that you want to create because that is what it's about. Union with oneself. Anyways. Conscious intercourse. Your C.J.
Powerful man. Thank you for having.
Doing a disservice to that person. Just like, you know, Mammy did for her baby, you know.
Yeah.
Emmett Till. You know, like the world gotta see.
Gotta see what's going on. That's right.
Ceremony and this exact euphoric experience. You out of body experience. You know, you kind of with us.
And you know, sharing your story and would you like to, you know, leave us with. With some words of wisdom?
Oh, maybe drop some bars, man, like.
No, I want them to see what they did to my baby, you know, I want them to see in the building. That's right. One of his many, many gifts.
Real quick, man. Listen. Let's hear it, man.
All right, we go.
Yeah, yeah.
But ultimately you have to be responsible for what those. Step outside of yourself or you kind of see things. You become one with all pervasive reality, all love and image is due to our subconscious. Right?
Absolutely.
Because ultimately all of this stuff is going into, you know, and it's supposed to be. A lot of times it heals people from.
Dude is say he turned into a tree and they. They buried him underneath the tree, became.
Part of the tree. Exactly right.
Yeah.
So those are subconscious mind and it's driving us and impacting us at all times, even the times we least expect it. Right. So porn. Exactly right. Trauma porn. All the stuff that's going on. I don't know how, you know, what's, what's the stuff we're talking about the other day with the stuff that they put people to sleep to. No, it's a. So nah, man. There's, you know, you know, sometimes you have to. It's. They use it for. As a form of anesthesia. The kind of.
Right.
Whatever version of it you're talking about.
Right, absolutely.
So it's mental health is really about us being aware and conscious of.
Yes.
The external stimuli.
Right.
Controlling the narrative of the extent of the external stimulus and how to impact our narratives of who we are and how we view ourselves. Because one of the biggest, you know, when I. It's just like earlier in the show I talked about love being the highest vibrational force.
That's right.
Shame is actually the lowest. Right, right. So, you know, but shame is the lowest because from shame even, you know, we're gonna, you know, getting ready to close out on this, There's a phenomenal documentary on Netflix. I haven't finished watching it yet, but it's called Studs. It's about this therapist. Yeah. Jonah Hill, you know, interviews, you know, creates a film about his therapist and the tools that the therapists use. Use to help him deal with, you know, shame.
We're gonna come out for this beat.
Yeah, we go.
Yeah.
Hey, hey, hey, hey. Michael.
Acapella.
Okay.
Yeah.
Hey, hey.
Okay, okay, okay.
Hey, hey. We talking about mental health, right?
That's right. Okay, Come on.
Okay, okay, okay.
Most part because Jonah Hill. No, he's a big guy.
He was.
So he dealt with a lot of weight issues. You know, when he calmed you down before they actually administer. It's not like morphing, that's more of a pain. Ah. He was 14, he was big, his fat. He was picked on him. And through all his success, he was still extremely unhappy with himself.
Right.
Because he was still stuck as that 14 year old that was getting. Oh well, it's a form of anesthesia. I know my son had to get a mean. Ketamine. Yes, the fat kid. So that literally through all the success being a movie star. So for example, ketamine is synthetic chemical. But there's like these clinics that are coming up with these modern day healing modalities where they use ketamine treatment so that you go into a facility. The money, wealth, all that stuff, women. He was still unhappy with himself and was unhappy.
Right.
Because his shadow, that shadow, that 14 year old fat kid that was picked on was still within himself and he was rejecting that part of himself.
Right.
So a lot of times we walk in life and potentially our mental issues are the rejection of those things that are shameful.
Today I'm making the choice. I'm choosing to manifest my best thoughts instead of giving power to them when vinyl skips. Better yet, them CDs from the 90s when it was scratch a bit, scratch a bit, scratch a bit. Hey, praying God, take your shirt, wipe me off, put me back in the.
Rotation and I inject you with ketamine and let you sit there and they monitor you and you go through these, you know, for to us, this trauma.
Trauma.
Exactly. It's a form of. Exactly. No, I mean, so we have to accept that trauma.
Yeah.
Yeah, so. But we now have to accept those out of body type experiences to where you resolve all your trauma. It's like traumas though. It's almost like we cannot. So what happens is we're taught to say, oh, this trauma is here. Allows you to step back out of yourself.
So they were doing that micro dosing back.
Exactly.
That's where it started. And. And I guess they said it was just opening up doors. That the society bad thing happens.
Detach from it, disown it. Right. What we actually have to realize is we actually have to become one with it. Because like you said, it's part of your journey. It's the. The glory is in the story, right?
That's right.
That's right.
Because hold on.
You mess it up, bro.
The stories in the glory N, man.
There is no glory, no story.
No story.
No glory, no story. Okay. All right. So the story is the trauma. Yes, the story is the trauma.
And you didn't need.
Exactly, you know. Yeah. So sometimes we wonder is it. You know, we play flawless.
All this tribulation, man, and over stimulation. At times I feel like, damn, am I stuck in a simulation? They say it's written. Sorry.
You also ultimately understand and know and recognize that this society has been created.
See it in the situations. Yes. I'm searching for a deeper meaning, talking with my demons.
And it's been molded to be a certain way to capitalize humanity. Right, right. By the power. But those that know. Right. So is it perhaps become accepted, love and embody your story of trauma.
Damn, bruh. How long you go hold on to.
Them pass ways so you could prevail and ascend and consciously create the world and reality that you want to create. Because that is what it's about. Union with oneself anyways. Conscious intercourse. Yo, cj.
Thank you for having me with us and you know, sharing your story and would you like to, you know, leave us with. With some words of wisdom?
Oh, maybe drop some bars, man.
Oh yeah, we got an MC in the building, so.
That's right.
One of his many, many gifts.
Real quick, man. That's the reason why we're not a. We don't have access to these types of.
Oh yeah.
Things. The modality is to keep us. Let's hear it, man.
All right.
We go us in a place of.
Absolutely.
Yeah.
Of subservience.
It's just like the health.
You supposed to be grown. I'm a good at. Keep me pushing on. I got faith in. In something bigger. Keep me. Keep me going strong. I can't let it get the upper hand. Like Satan, stand behind thee. In scriptures that my grandmama gave me that insurance business.
Our healthcare. They don't want you to holistically heal yourself. They want you to be dependent on their medications.
Yeah, so. Yeah, so. So. Exactly. So is it to me is it.
Just a lack well, remind me that prayer is a weapon and she stayed on her knees. We're gonna come off of this beat.
Yeah, we go.
Yeah.
Hey, hey, hey, hey. Michael.
Acapella.
Okay.
Yeah.
Hey, hey.
Okay, okay, okay.
Hey, hey. We talking about mental health, right?
That's right.
Okay.
Come on.
Okay, okay, okay, okay. Today I'm making the choice. I'm choosing to manifest my best thoughts instead of giving power to them. When vinyl skips back of information my.
People should perish from the lack of knowledge. It seems like mental health of literally.
Get them CDs from the 90s when it was scratch a bit, scratch a bit, scratch a bit. Hey, praying God, take your shirt, wipe me off, put me back in the rotation and I really is a lack.
Of information because you know, once we if we were aware all this time.
That we not like them thoughts But a queen who believe she been gone for years but her pres that lingering is blasphemy to walk in fear with all this that's in my rear that I navigated through, barely made it through a few evidence that show up show play flawless. All this tribulation, man and over stimulation.
At times spending school learning about parabolas and all this crap that we learned.
If we up next, I'll make it through it too for the testimony homie, I got so many blessings Spent most.
Of that at least a good portion of that time learning about mental health and treatments and trauma.
I feel like damn am I stuck in a simulation they say it's written so I read in the situations Guess I'm searching for a deeper meaning Talking with my demons like damn bro, how long you gonna hold on to them past ways you supposed to be grown from a good and more mobs song Keep me pushing on I got faith in something bigger Keep me, keep me going strong I can't let it get.
I mean how it impacts us, right? Ultimately we'll be able to heal each other, right?
So the upper hand like Satan stand behind thee in scriptures that my grandmama gave me that was but let's say this right so we know a couple. I be remiss not to acknowledge them, bring them forth and polish them like no longer will remind me that oh pray is a weapon and she stayed on her knees will I walloping woulda, coulda, shoulda shit change that narrative inside my mind Just like Martin did right before they shot him but after he planted seeds. You see love families who have a child that has like not like them thoughts, but a queen who believes she been gone for years Years I come from that bottom I'm that sea who grew the tree But I ain't never throwing shade I'm a press that lingering is blasphemy to walk and feel with all this that's in my rear that I navigated through Barely made it through a few evidence that show up, show up next I'll make it through it too for the testimony homie I got so many blessings on me I be remiss not to acknowledge them Bring them forth and polish them like no longer will I walloping woulda, coulda, shoulda Change that narrative inside my mind Just like Martin did right before they shot him but after he planted seeds, you see I come from that bottom I'm that sea who grew the tree But I ain't never throwing shade I'm too busy getting paid Look I dreamed about them days when I used to rock a fade as a schoolboy I looked up two dope boys thought they was cool, boy Told myself if I ever got they wealth I could have fool, boy but oh God knew, boy I wasn't ready then Just like many of my peers who did years in the pen or even heavier.
Cj that's what I'm talking about.
