For so long, I couldn't put in the work. I couldn't be productive. I had like those huge dreams, like those huge desires to like change the world, help people. I was so inspired by people like XXXTentacion, like Von Suga, Spiritual Soaps. But bro, I didn't put in the work. I didn't put in any action. I couldn't. I remember in my journal, I was always like, you gotta put in the action. I said that to myself. A thousand times, literally, and I still wasn't putting the action. I just realized like not too long ago, like a couple of months ago, to be productive, bro, it's not hard, bro. Like, I'm gonna tell you, okay? The one mistake I did was simply having my instant gratification like whenever I wanted. So basically, I was watching YouTube videos whenever I wanted. So I was watching YouTube video in the afternoon or in the morning. And so afterwards I was just like, I didn't feel like doing anything. I just felt like doing, actually like watching more YouTube instead of working on my craft. The only thing that was like pushing me to do action was literally watching like a motivational video or something. So What I did, this is— don't do— I'm just gonna give you this, okay? What you do is literally have a routine. Now, I didn't have like a routine that where I wrote everything down, but that would be your best option. The best case scenario, you write a routine that you do for the whole day that you actually enjoy. And when you have a routine, put the instant gratification at the end of the day. If it's Netflix, if it's social media, if it's video games, put it at the end of the day. Even if it's video games and you think it's bad, put it at the end of the day, bro. Not in the beginning. I remember I used to come back from work or before work, I'll play video games and now I didn't wanna work out. And now it was so hard to work out. But if I worked out and then afterwards I play video games, it was cool. Yes, I wouldn't do like any more work, but at least I worked out. So put your instant gratification just at the end of the day and follow routine as best as you can every day, bro.
