Samir Gardner argues stress comes from worrying about the future, and the antidote is believing you'll achieve your goals through consistent action. He practices cold showers, Wim Hof breathing, meditation, and reading to build confidence and create a feedback loop of visible progress that fuels belief in what's next.

What's good, y'all? It's your boy Samir Gardner. Hope y'all doing good. So, bro, how to end stress. Okay, so, uh, like, to be honest, right now I'm sleepy as hell. Like, I'm trying to go to sleep. But look, if you want to end stress, bro, you gotta adopt a certain mindset. And that mindset is you're gonna achieve anything if— I mean, you just think that you're gonna achieve everything you want. And why? Because think about it, you probably stress a lot because you're like, oh, where, where I'm gonna be in the future, where, what am I gonna do? Am I, you know, you probably stress about the future too much, but you gotta have the mindset that you're gonna make it. Like, and I think a way to like prove that mindset or just adopt the mindset is by constantly, constantly working towards your goal. Constantly having habits that makes you elevate, basically, you know. Like, for example, me, bro, like, I mean, it can be like anything. When you have like sort of these habits of, you know, taking cold showers, reading and everything, especially reading, because once you read, you feel like you have too much knowledge, bro. You feel like your knowledge is— it's like unique. I don't know how to say, but like you read a book, like let's say you read a book and I don't know, you feel like nobody got this knowledge except you, so you think like you're gonna make it. Because think about it, like bro, people are not— people are not really— are not even trying, trying to achieve anything. There's no like— there's not much competition, to be honest. You're just sort of new to like self-improvement and everything, so you, you're stressing about like, oh, I'm gonna Am I gonna make it and everything? But I'm gonna tell you, with time, bro, habits are so important. If you put yourself in like uncomfort every day, if you, you know, do things like reading and everything, bro, you're gonna gain so much knowledge. And like a year from now or like months from now, you're gonna be like, wow, I gained so much knowledge. And that's how you know you're gonna make it in the future, because you keep on improving. You improve so much that it's like impossible for you to not achieve what you want. Like, for example, I want to be like just living, going to countries and everything, making a lot of money. I mean, a lot of money, like, that's superficial, but like, you know, just being financially free, not having a job and everything, like not going to school or anything. And, you know, I know that I'm gonna achieve this. I know. I don't know, like, I just know, bro. I just know because for me that's the only choice. And I'm not gonna stress about it. I'm gonna stress about it if I gotta stress about it. Right now I don't gotta stress about it because it's not right now. I'm working towards my goal right now and not for the— like, I'm working for my future right now. So I know I'm gonna be good. You know, I'm making this video, I'm becoming more confident speaking. That's how I know I'm gonna be more good, because I keep on improving. And once you see your improvement, you'll be like, you'll be so confident that you're gonna achieve your goal. But I've accomplished things that I'm like, I'm, I just realized like, bro, like 3 years from now, 2 years from now, I would never thought I will achieve this. But just taking cold showers, I've been taking cold showers for more than 1 year. I've been doing Wim Hof for more than 1 year. I've been meditating for more than 1 year. All those things, bro, to be honest, like, I'm gonna be honest, like, when you have habits that you know will put you to the next level, but you're gonna be good, you're gonna stop stressing, okay? That's how I think you gotta stop. You're gonna stop stressing when you have habits that keep you, keep you, um, sort of, you know, eating healthy. For example, you eat healthy now, you, you know that your future self will thank you. You know your future self will be healthy because you eating healthy. That's how you become confident for the future. And also when you grasp new knowledge every day, that's how I think you just get this mindset of I'm improving every day, so there's no way I'm not gonna make it. If you keep on improving every day, I'll— like, literally, how can you not make it? It's like if I'm an entrepreneur and I work every day on it, I work, I work on my business every day, I try everything, and if, like, if I try everything, I thought I learned everything, and if, and I tried, like, bro, I'm gonna make it, bro, I'm gonna make it.
