Foods That Will Fill You Up

Skip processed carbs that spike insulin and instead eat fats like avocados and nut butters, plus fiber from beans and leafy greens. Fats don't raise insulin while fiber expands in your stomach. Three staple meals: eggs with vegetables, salmon with sweet potatoes and avocado, or chia pudding with coconut and berries.

Okay, so I'm gonna talk about the list of foods that will basically fill you up and keep you filled for like the rest of the day. So what you gotta understand first is you don't want to spike insulin if you want to be full. So how do you do that? You consume more foods that is high in fats and low in like— basically, you know, the glycemic index where it spikes, like it's like, uh, the list of foods that spikes your insulin. And spikes your blood sugar, basically, you want to start like not eating foods that are low— not low, but high in the glycemic index. So what is that? It's the food that are high in sugar, that don't have much fiber, the processed foods, especially the processed food. I mean, just like you can do the test, just go to McDonald's, eat one burger, eat like 2,000 calories, and you will be hungry after like 2 hours. It's not normal, bro. It's not normal. 2,000 calories, you will be filled for the whole day. But you go to McDonald's, you don't even feel full. So because the glycemic index is so high, and plus there's no nutrients, plus no— there's no fiber, so your brain basically sends signals to your stomach that you want to keep eating, that you need food right now because you don't have the fiber, you don't have the nutrients, And thus your blood sugar goes up. A normal human being should have, I think, 1 tablespoon of sugar per, like, what, liter of blood? Or I'm really not sure. Like, I might— I'm gonna write it in the description, but I think a normal human being should have like 1 tablespoon of, uh, sugar for like 30 gallons of blood. Is that right? Or is that one? Yeah, I don't know, but stop eating the high glycemic food. You can just eat more foods, just eat more foods, you'll be good. So why I recommend eating fats is because fats don't spike insulin that much. They don't— I don't even think they spike insulin. What spikes insulin is, you know, like I said, the high glycemic food, the simple carbs, the carbs, the you know, the, the proteins. Like, I'm not saying to avoid those things, I'm just saying high-fat food will fill you up for the rest of the day, bro. If you want to do intermittent fasting, you need to eat foods that are high in fat naturally, okay? So what would be like the list? Avocados. Avocados are very high in calories, are very, very, very nutritious. They got like cholesterol, they got the good fats and everything. Another food will be coconut. I eat dry coconut and I just pour it like— to be honest, I make like coconut butter now. Like I just blend straight dry coconut and it makes like coconut butter and boy, it tastes so good and it fills you up because it's so high in calories, so high in fats and everything. So for example, for the avocado, I would recommend adding 1 avocado to your meals like every day. Every day eat 1 avocado, it will fill you up, I swear to God. And you know, it tastes great, to be honest. Can make a guacamole, it's easy to do. Just pour, um, like, just pour— like what I do, I add herbs, olive oil, salt, garlic, lemon juice, that's it. And bro, it will taste great, it will fill you up too. So another thing will be eggs. To be honest, the problem with eggs though is they're low in calories, so if you want to like eat 2,000 calories, you're gonna need like a lot of eggs. I mean, they're like 60 calories per egg, I think. I don't count calories, but I think it's like 60 to 70 calories, but they're very high nutrients, so it will— your body will be like sort of like satisfied because of the nutrients. So we got like vitamin E, biotin, uh, choline, I think, um, it got selenium, it got What else? Like, I mean, you know, it got like the good fat, it got the good fats, the good cholesterol, because the egg yolk is basically, you know, the yellow thing, like the egg yolk is where most of the fats are. That's what keeps you filled up. The white version is the protein. Not the white version, but you know, like the white part is the protein, the yellow part is the fats, and a lot of nutrients are in the egg yolk. But I don't— you can eat the whole egg. I eat the whole egg. I eat 4 eggs and I just eat like 4 whole eggs. Now, um, another thing will be nuts or seeds butter. Personally, I make my own sunflower seed butter, and to be honest, just add it to your meals. It will— it's like it's going to give you extra calories that will fill you up. Tahini is a good example. Tahini, like You got the nutrients. Like, try, try to go for like the unold version, bro. Tahini will fill you up. Tahini will fill you up. Almond butter, uh, sunflower seed butter, pumpkin seed butter, um, like, what else? Like, any sort of nut butter or seed butter will fill you up. I mean, don't just eat them like this. Like, this, it's very high calories, very high in fats. I think, I think just add like 2 tablespoons to one of your meals or something. Don't make it like your main meal. Another thing will be chia seeds. Chia seeds, bro, if I had to make a top 3 of like the foods that fill me up the most, it will be chia seeds, coconut, and avocados. Chia seeds, the thing with chia seeds is they absorb liquid and they expand because of that liquid. Because they absorb the liquid, they expand, they start expanding. Just check out, just try making a She's putting moosey. The seeds will have basically like soaked all the water, like they will have like all the liquid in, in them, like, and they will start expanding. And the thing is they don't really stop expanding and they keep expanding into your stomach, so that makes you feel more full for like the whole day. So it's great if you want to like lose weight or something and you want to be filled. But that's a great, great meal, like Um, maybe add more, uh, seeds and more like, uh, milk. You can make coconut milk, you can make hemp milk, you can make any milk. Just add it. You can put some coconut on top, you can put some nut butter, and it's gonna taste great. And plus, to be just— try to not put too much sugar. You can put like blueberries, strawberries. It will keep you filled up for like hours. I swear to God. Another thing will be, uh, now this might sound weird or like, I don't know, like, but seeds dressing. I do sesame seed dressing every day, to be honest, like almost every day. Sometimes it might be hemp, sometimes it might be sunflower seeds. What I do is I soak my seeds, I soak them, okay, soak, and then I add some olive oil, I add some salt, I add some garlic, I add some lemon juice, and then I blend everything and I add it to my salad. And to be honest, it fills me up. Like, the sesame seeds fill me up because, I mean, there's a lot of seeds because I soak a lot of seeds. And just, bro, like, just try it. Just try it for yourself. Another thing will be, uh, salmon. Salmon is, I mean, just a whole food. Like, basically, whole foods in general should fill you up. More foods in general should fill you up, but I'm talking about like, sort of like high calories but not, not at the same time. I'm talking about like high-fat food. Salmon is like, got the protein, got the fats. Like, just eat like salmon with sweet potatoes or something. To be honest, like, just salmon, wild-caught salmon. Try to buy frozen salmon, try to buy fresh salmon if you can, but Salmon is just like a great, great food, to be honest. So another thing, like I said in the beginning, you need fiber, okay? Some of the foods that I talked about got fiber, some don't got as much. But for example, um, chia seeds are very, very high in fiber. They're like one of the most like high fiber food. So why you need fiber? Because it will keep you filled. You need fiber to, uh, to go to the bathroom. You need fiber to, to make like Basically your system, you know, just move around, like just basically let your system do its thing, you know, go to the bathroom, clean out your body and everything. I think they did like a test on people that were fasting and they just gave them like a fiber supplement and these people were not even like that hungry and the benefits of that fast and everything was like so high because like they gave them fiber so they'll So they don't feel hungry. So what are some like high fiber foods? Sweet potatoes. Sweet, I love Japanese sweet potatoes or Japanese sweet, like yams or anything. They're very, very high in fibers. I recommend, you know, making a meal like salmon with sweet potatoes or something. It will like greatly fill you up. Another food will be beans and lentils. I don't eat that much, but I know they're high in fiber. I know, like, bro, I know people that make— you know, people, for example, you can make rice with like lentils. But to be honest, I don't eat that, but they're high in fiber and they will fill you up. Like, lentils fill you up. Lentils, yeah, lentils fill you up. Maybe not as much as avocados and/or coconut, or chia seeds, but they fill you up. And like the last one of the last food— there's a lot of other foods, but one of the last foods will be a salad. I eat a salad like every day, basically every day, with my sesame seed dressing. And to be honest, like it's high in fiber. The vegetables are high in fiber. I'm also like any vegetable, it can be like anything, can be Just try to go for the, the vegetables that are high in fiber. But for example, you can eat broccoli, you can eat cauliflower, you can eat, I don't know, kale. You can eat anything. Try to go for the nutrient-rich foods and the foods that are like high in fiber. For example, kale is known to be like one of the most nutritious foods of all. But you know, eat a salad every day with your meals. And you're gonna be more, more filled. You're gonna be more filled even though it's like low in calories. You're gonna be more full. So what are some like meals I do? Uh, I got like, okay, so I'm gonna give you 3. You got eggs with vegetables. I eat, for example, me, it's, I eat like 4 eggs with mushrooms, onion, and Uh, like any sort of like seed butter. And then I eat another meal will be like, uh, let me think, uh, salmon with sweet potatoes or salmon with a salad and, and add an avocado to that salad. Another meal will be chia pudding with coconut, uh, berries and nut butter. Those 3 meals, bro, but they will keep you filled up. Uh, also try adding an avocado to every meal. Like I said, try adding in avocados every meal. I swear it will, will fill you up. It will fill you up. I am able to like basically not eat for like 8 hours and be good, to be honest, after one meal. Yeah, I eat more. What I do is I eat more in one meal so I don't have to eat too much frequently. Because I don't like eating frequently. I don't think it's quote unquote natural, but you do you, you do you, okay? So that's, that's it for the video. Hope you liked it. Comment, share, subscribe, and like a lot. Peace.
