How To Grow In Life 🌱

Samir Gardner says personal growth comes from two things: noticing how your habits and emotions affect your energy, and deliberately doing uncomfortable stuff like public speaking or cold showers. Each time you face the fear, it shrinks, stress drops, and you build resilience.

What's up y'all, it's Samir Gardner. Hope y'all having a great day. So let's talk about how to grow in life. Um, growing life is one of like, like growing life is probably one of the most important thing, like to be honest, because if you, you're always at the same state of mind or the state, the same state, like I don't know how you can enjoy life, but I mean you can enjoy life by doing your passion and everything. But if you're always— you're not improving. I know everyone is improving, but some people are doing way more faster than other people. But you gotta improve in life. You gotta grow because sometimes reality can be like very, very, very hard, but you gotta face it. That's how you grow. If you just run away from it, you'll never grow. And when you face that, that, uh, those fears, though, that reality, those problems, you're going to become stronger. And when that same stuff happens, you're gonna face them with like— it's gonna be way easier to face your problems or your fears. So the first tip is to spend time with your mind. Now, spend time with your mind, um, makes you self-aware. And it makes you know more, more yourself. So when you're self-aware, for example, like, you just, you know, like, for example, what's making you sick or what's making you lower in energy, you know, you know these things. Because if you deeply know yourself and you deeply, um, basically deeply know what everything you're doing then you'll know. Like, for example, if you're low in energy, you know, oh yeah, that's because I was angry with that person. He's always like sucking off my energy. But if, for example, um, you're eating, um, something, let's say you're eating like fast food, you'll realize that fast food is making you sick because when you eat it, you realize I don't feel as good as when I was eating, uh, I don't know, like rice or something. But, but like, let's say for example, uh, someone who is not self-aware, someone who is not self-aware is not going to realize those things. He's going to keep— he's going— he's gonna go to the doctor because he thinks that he's sick because of no— for no reason. Like, I know people personally who goes to the doctor, but All they do all day is eat fast food and be on electronics. That's what— that's the only thing they do. And they go to the doctor and think that they're gonna fix them, but nah, nah. Like, to be honest, you gotta be self-aware in life. Like, you gotta know that— like, I understand that eating fast food is a bad thing and that we shouldn't consume it. But you know, like, some people consume it, like, not often, but some people just consume it and think, uh, um, they— because they're not sick at the moment they eat it, so they think that they can still eat it. But like one day, like, I don't know, maybe a year after, they'll become very, very sick because of that. You might get like— oh, my bad, baby. Oh yeah, they might get like very, very sick. Just because of their eating habits, their eating disorder. But yeah, uh, now, now, um, the second tip, the second tip, um, do everything that makes you uncomfortable. Do everything that's outside your comfort zone. If you— something gives you anxiety, face— like, you gotta, you gotta do it because you don't want to live a life or fear. Like, you don't want to— in life, like, I understand that, uh, maybe as a teen you, you have many fears, but if you face those fears, in the long run you're gonna have no fears at the end of the day. Because for me, for example, I was so stressed to start on YouTube, but when I, when I, uh, I did my first video, after that I was like, yo, I can make another one. I was still stressed at the second video, but after I made Like, I made another one, but now I'm making videos and it's becoming comfortable for me. Like, the uncomfortable stuff is becoming like the comfortable stuff for me. Making videos on taking cold showers, working out, those things are— it's all mental. Like, at the end of the day, it's all mental. Your fears are mental. It's not physical at all. Like, you think working out is physical? Yeah, it's a little bit physical, but it's mainly mental. Because you got to realize, when, for example, you work out, like, you think you don't feel like working out, but it's not because of how your body feels, it's because of how your mind feels. You don't want to work out, and you don't, and you don't need to— you don't got to focus on your emotions, you got to focus on your mind. Because your rational thinking is— is what? Like, I'm not saying attention, but your emotional thinking, like your initial emotions. If you just— in life you just say, oh yeah, I don't feel like doing this, I don't feel like doing that, I don't like this, then you're not gonna do anything in life. You're not gonna grow also. And when you do, like everything that makes you uncomfortable. Like, let's say you have many fears. I don't care how many fears you have. I don't care if your fears are speaking out in public, or it can be doing a water slide at the water park here. It can be anything. But once you face them all, you're not gonna have no fears and you're gonna have less stress. And when you have less stress, you become less sick, because stress is one of the reasons why people are sick. And you, I mean, just imagine a life where you wouldn't have no stress. Like, like everyone, everyone wants to live with no stress, but nobody does the thing in order to have no stress. Because once you face off everything that makes you stressed, then life, life becomes easier because you're not gonna be stressed doing the same things. Like doing the things that used to make you scared of. You're gonna become fearless, and that's what, like, that's one of the things that people gotta, like, um, like, that's one, that's one of the things that people gotta achieve, because becoming fearless, like, I just think that's how we should live. Like, nobody should be scared of talking in public because at the end of the day they're just humans listening to you. They're not like, I don't know, they're not like, uh, I don't know, they're just like, like you gotta face your fears. Once you face them off and you have no fears, then you can do anything in life. I mean, you can do anything right now in life, but you'll become more comfortable of doing anything. Yeah, that's it for the vid. Hope y'all liked it. Comment, share, subscribe, and like. I'm out.
