What's good, y'all? It's your boy Samir Gardner. Hope y'all been doing good. So how to start eating more healthy for beginners, basically. So first of all, bro, take care of yourself first mentally before, before you want to eat more healthy, okay? If you fix your mind, you can eat— you can pretty much be able to eat healthy foods rather than eating fake foods or, you know, foods that basically make you sick. So fix your mind first, okay? Fix your mind first. Um, also I would say like, I have a reason why you, you want to eat healthy. Don't eat healthy because everyone else is doing it. Just do it because you have a reason. Like, the reason can be just, I want to feel better, I want to be able to have more energy, I want to be able to not be sick anymore. Every reason why maybe you're working out and you feel like you don't have any, don't have any energy because of what you eat and everything. So just start being— just have a reason why you cannot do it just because you see people doing it. Like, you're not gonna sustain if you're doing that. So one of my— one of the best tips I can give you is Don't count calories, bro. Don't count calories. Don't check anything, actually. Don't check macros, don't check protein, don't check fat. I don't care, don't check anything. Just eat, eat, eat what's natural. And bro, you don't have to count any calories once you start eating all those whole foods like vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds, like anything like this. Like, bro, you don't need to count calories. Just eat until you're satisfied and eat when you're hungry. That's the rules. Like, that's the rules. I'm, I'm not, I'm not trying to say, I'm not gonna say don't eat this or don't eat that. Just eat as— eat like you want, basically. Eat like you want. This video is for people that are trying to eat healthy, so eat what you want as long as it's healthy. I'm not gonna talk about the cheat meals and everything. That's up to you. If you want to cheat, you know, cheat, you want to eat, you want to still eat like the junk food, like, bro, that's on you. So I would say if you're— if you really want to start eating healthy, bro, you don't need to cut off everything. Just make a better version of it, basically. So let's say you love eating pizza, right? Like, you can literally look up on YouTube how to make pizza. Like, literally, like, how to make an LT pizza. And you can literally just buy the ingredients that's in the YouTube video, and you don't need to be good at cooking. You don't need to be good at cooking. You can learn how to cook. It's easy, bro. Like, but in the video, it shows you how to do everything. You don't even need skills or anything. Just gotta follow what the person is doing. So you want to make a pizza, right? You buy the flour, you buy, you buy tomato sauce, you buy the vegetables, just cook the vegetables and put it in the oven. And you know, you know, I know that's not how to actually make it, but you know, just go on YouTube and it's gonna show you how to make— like, you can make a tasteful pizza and just with natural ingredients. So what you want to be focusing on is try to eat the foods that you love eating, if that's what you want, but with natural ingredients. Basically, you know, you can— I'm not gonna say cut off all the, the, you know, the hot dogs. Like, literally, you can make an healthy hot dog. Like, for real, you can make like a vegan hot dog. You can make like hot dog but with natural ingredients, you know, not the white bread and everything. But you can make— literally, you can make anything with natural ingredients. Just look it up on YouTube. The ingredients matters, not the recipe. The ingredients, okay? So, um, also, I, I want to tell y'all, when y'all go to— let's see what you want to go to a restaurant to order something. You know, people say, oh, cooking takes a lot of time, I don't want to do it and everything. Like, bro, the time you take with your car to go to the restaurant and come back, it's like way more time than you would have spent cooking the meal. And the meal would have been way more— it would have gave you way more benefits than, you know, what you eat at the restaurant, because what you eat at the restaurant is not Designed to make you— like, you think, you think they're really like making recipes for, for health? Like, bro, they're making recipes because people love the taste. So just be mindful that you can make, you can make recipes that don't take like 30— you can make recipes in like 15 minutes. Just look it up on YouTube. On YouTube, there's like a billion videos about recipes you can make. 5-minute recipes you can make. You can make anything on— just search up on YouTube. You just need the ingredients and just need to follow what the person is doing. So, so another thing would be like, eat the food that doesn't make your digestive system upset. Basically, if you're eating food that is making you fall asleep right after you eat it, or food that makes you feel like, uh, you don't, you don't want, you don't want to eat no more because you, you feel your stomach is hurting too much. Like, bro, just avoid these foods. That's one of the most simple ways to eat healthy. Avoid these foods and you're gonna be good. Like, I know some foods you can eat like a small portion, it's not gonna make you feel bad or anything, but bro, If you eat what's natural, you're not, you're not gonna deal with these problems, okay? You're not gonna deal with the problem of having an upset stomach, except if you eat too much, but that's another thing. But let's say you eat normal portion of cookies. For example, you can make homemade cookies with oatmeal, with bananas and everything, and they taste so good, like you're not even gonna want to eat those prepackaged cookies at the grocery. Like you can make everything on your own basically, and with natural ingredients that it's gonna benefit you. So I would say eat what is easy to digest first, such as fruits. Okay, fruits. Fruits is like, you know, in the fruits there's sugar, but that's a natural sugar. It comes from— it comes with water, comes with enzyme, it comes with minerals. Like, bro, fruits is underrated. Like, instead of eating the, the, you know, the fake sugar, the white sugar, the brown sugar, the, the any type of sugar, like, bro, eat fruits. You're gonna see, once you cut off the fake sugar, you're gonna, you're gonna, you're gonna love the taste of fruits. You're gonna love the taste of fruits. You're gonna eat fruits every day. Like, bro, start eating watermelon, grapes, mangoes, dates, you know, apples, anything. And you're gonna see those foods taste so good once you stop eating like the fake foods, the processed foods basically, you know, the processed sugar, the refined sugar, you know. These refined sugars and everything, they're addictive. If you didn't know, they're addictive. One of the ways I can prove it is Is there a time when you didn't feel angry but like you felt like you saw like a cake so you said, oh yeah, I want to eat it? But bro, you didn't feel angry but you still ate it. Like why? Just ask yourself why. It's because the food is pretty much gives you dopamine, but that's another thing. But you know, eat more fruits. Fruits is healthy, fruits tastes good. Fruits, like, fruits is underrated basically. And another thing, once you start cutting off like all the processed foods, the natural food is going to taste good naturally. And I'm not making this up, I swear. Just try yourself. Just try for one month. You're gonna see, like, you're gonna cook vegetables and you're gonna see, like, it tastes way better than when you used to eat the same vegetables. Like, it's, it's normal because pretty much your dopamine receptors are getting big, uh, they're getting, uh, fixed back up and everything. So, so try to eat food that don't have too many ingredients, okay? So to be mindful, go at the grocery and look at the ingredients. If you know the ingredients in there is not— there's not like too many ingredients, or there's not ingredients that you can't even pronounce or ingredients that you don't even know. Like, bro, don't put— I mean, you can do whatever you want, but if I was you, I wouldn't put food or any type of ingredients that is not— that I don't know about. Because why would I put something in my body if I don't even know anything about it? Like, bro, I'm just— it's my body, I want to take care of it. And, you know, everyone can do what they want, but if you want to be more healthy, that's one of the tips. Just be more mindful, basically. Just be more mindful and don't overthink it. Just, if you gotta eat what you got, if you gotta eat what you gotta eat, just eat it. If that's what you gotta eat, don't be like, oh no, it's not as healthy as I want, so I'm not gonna eat it, bro. Just try to eat as clean as possible, but don't overthink it. Basically, just don't, don't, don't overthink it. So, so, you know, if you can go for the foods that have like no ingredients or the food that basically have the less amount of ingredients, that's the best food you can find. And what I mean by no ingredients is, you know, a mango. A mango doesn't have 2 ingredients. A mango is a mango. There's no ingredients, it's a mango. So try to go for these type of foods first, and then if you want to eat, you know, the cookies, you want to eat anything, like, you can make your own. If you want to buy some at the store, like, it's on you. But, you know, it's all about improving. It's all about improving. Are you better than you were the past, you know, and your diet is not like the— it's, it's very important, your diet, but at the same time, bro, your mental is— needs to be here. Like, your mental needs to be, to be clean. And once that mental is clean and everything, your diet is going to be way more better. Like, you're going to feel way more better, you know. Work on yourself and you're going to reap the benefits. So yeah, that's it for the vid. Hope y'all liked it. Comment, share, subscribe, and like. I'm out. Peace.
