How To Stop Watching P*rn When You Are Lonely

A coach explains why porn doesn't actually relieve loneliness, just distracts from it for seconds. He walks through a four-step approach: question what you hope to gain, recognize porn has no real value, use subconscious techniques to address root causes, and reframe boredom as productive. A client named Jude stopped using porn despite still feeling lonely by applying these steps.

Look, if you watch porn because you're lonely, let me tell you how to literally stop watching porn or masturbating when you're alone. So let me just give you a quick backstory. When I was, you know, a few years ago, a few months ago, whatever, no, it was a few years ago, you know, I didn't have any friends for like 2 years, okay? So I was just like lonely at my house. It was a time where, you know, I kind of like stopped going to school school, purchased, not purchased, but pursued different avenues in my life. I pursued like basically, I built businesses. I had like a clothing brand, whatever, right? I was a very lonely and dark moment of my life where I literally had no one. I would literally be in my room craving to talk to someone, if that makes sense, right? I was that lonely, okay? And that bored also. And at that time, yeah, I reduced a lot of my porn and masturbation usage, but I almost felt like every week I felt like I needed to masturbate. And then because I would masturbate, then I would sometimes go on porn, right? And every week it was like that urge got too strong, if that makes sense, okay? I'm gonna explain why that happens and how you can actually stop that. But just to give you a quick backstory, I would literally feel like, you know, I need to watch porn, I need to masturbate. And, you know, it made me even more lonely because every single time that would happen, what happened in my mind was, oh, I watched porn, I masturbated, I'm a fucking loser. So now what can I do with my life? If I'm a loser, I'm not gonna be confident talking to people. So I'm not even gonna be, you know, I'm gonna be more lonely. And it was just like this cycle going on with like, I feel lonely, let me watch porn. Okay, I'll watch porn and I feel more lonely. And now, you know, it just destroyed my life basically, right? It gave me a lot of mental pain. And sadly, I didn't know why that was happening, right? I mean, yeah, I thought my root cause is loneliness, like everyone will say, which is pure bullshit, sorry to say, but it's literally bullshit. Let me just explain actually like how it works, okay? Because I've coached many people that they literally watch porn because they're lonely. And then I tell them how to literally debunk that and how to actually get to the root cause through the subconscious alternation. And they never go back to porn after that, okay? So first of all, okay, if you watch porn because you're lonely, you gotta ask yourself, what are you trying to get out of it? Because, okay, look here, okay? I have a screen, okay? I have my computer. If you look just at this video, I mean this screen right here, right? I don't know if I have a video, but like you can see that the screen in of itself, or even if I put a video on, cannot relieve my stress. What can relieve my stress? Not my stress, but my loneliness, sorry. It cannot relieve my loneliness. How can a physical thing relieve, like literally an object relieve my loneliness? You gotta ask yourself this, right? Because a lot of people think, porn relieves my loneliness for a few moments. What actually relieves your loneliness, and you need to debunk that because it's extremely important, when you watch porn, okay, loneliness is in your mind, meaning that it's your thoughts, okay? You think, I'm lonely, and that's what makes you feel lonely. It's not a body sensation, it's your own mind who thinks that way, right? Because some people, they might be lonely for years, they might not even talk to a single person, but they like it that way and they don't feel lonely. Or some people might be bored for like 5 days in a row doing nothing but reading books and just chilling outside and having no friends, and they might feel good about it, okay? They don't say, "I'm feeling bored, I'm feeling lonely, I need to watch porn." No, because it's based on their perception, based on your mind, right? Now look, if you feel lonely, okay, let me just debunk how you believe loneliness. The way you relieve loneliness is because when you watch porn, okay, loneliness is in your mind. Remember that loneliness is in your thoughts. But when you watch porn, what it does is that it basically just gives you a distraction from your own thoughts about it, okay? It's really that simple. You don't relieve loneliness because there's a special chemical inside of porn or because you're watching other women having sex or because you think you're reproducing with other women. So you're like having like this kind of like social life. No, it's none of that. It's just that you're distracting yourself. So you're focused on something else outside of your loneliness thoughts. It's really that simple. It's the same thing with stress. When you feel stressed, you don't relieve stress by watching porn. You relieve stress because you're focused on something else than your stressful thoughts. You're not gonna feel a negative emotion or a negative thought, whatever, if you're not focused on that negative thought or that negative emotion. It's really that simple. That's why people go on a walk or people go and play sports and they relieve their negative emotions. They feel better. I go and play pool, you know, billiards, however you say it, right? The pool table thing, right? When I play that, I relieve sometimes my stress because I'm just focused on playing that game. I'm just focused on, you know, I'm just focused on it, right? So it's not because the stick or the balls contain like a special chemical and because there's people around me, whatever. No, it's because I am basically just focused on something else. And look, you got to be honest with yourself also, okay? Forgot to say this, but you got to be like, okay, yeah, I'll watch porn because I think it's going to relieve my loneliness, even though it doesn't. Even though it doesn't. When you think it does, even if it's for one second, that's a huge amount of benefit. That's a huge amount of value that you perceive inside of porn because you think it's gonna relieve you. Just think about it. People watch porn because it gives them 3 seconds of pleasure, like they say. And that's a lot of value for people. Now, with the same thing with loneliness, don't deny that porn relieves your loneliness. Accept it. Accept that it does for 5 seconds, whatever. And then ask yourself why. And debunk it just like we did. The reason why you, the reason why it relieves your loneliness even though it doesn't is because you literally just focus on something else. And once you actually understand that, you understand that porn actually has zero value. And once you truly realize that porn has zero value, you'll never go back to it, okay? To give you many stories, man, I have many students that, you know, for example, I have one of my recent students, His name is Jude, right? I don't wanna give too much personal information. He moved out with his parents, not his parents, but I'm not gonna give too much information, but he moved out with one of his family members and he had no friends because he's in Utah and he still doesn't have much friends, right? And he doesn't have much connections because he's literally in another city. Now look, I taught him how to debunk every single benefit, you know, loneliness, stress relief, sexual relief, pleasure, all of those things, debunked it, debunked the concept of addiction, debunked the concept of control, debunked everything. Basically, we went to the root cause through the subconscious alternation. Even though he's lonely, even though like he doesn't have any friends and, you know, his day might be boring, it doesn't feel like watching porn. Equated porn, right? And I'm not, you know, saying that it's gonna be, um, you know, just, oh, stop watching porn because, you know, it doesn't relieve your loneliness. No, you need to understand why. You need to come to your own conclusion. Don't just believe me blindly. Go and really understand why what I'm saying might be true or not, okay? You really got to come to your own conclusion. But look, porn doesn't relieve your loneliness. There's no special chemical inside of porn that relieves loneliness. You know, even if you watch porn, you know, you could relieve your loneliness literally by staring at a wall, bro. Because if you focus on something else, then obviously you cannot think of your loneliness. Loneliness is in your mind, okay? And once you understand that's only in your mind, you understand that you have power over it. There's many, there's millions of people that live lonely, live lonely lives. Some of them enjoy it, some of them don't, because it's based on your perception around that loneliness. You need to also understand that boredom and loneliness can be a good thing, okay? It can be a good thing if you want to, because for me, if I'm bored, I know it's going to motivate me to think about good ideas, which is going to propel, uh, my goals and my, in my life further. And I'm like, okay, this is a huge benefit for me. So I love being bored and lonely, uh, if I have the opportunity to, okay? It doesn't mean like I'm going to be bored and lonely, but if I'm bored and lonely, I'm not like, oh my God, I need to relieve my boredom and loneliness. Yeah, I might be like, I need to do something, but I'm just thinking, oh, this is actually beneficial for me. Change your perception around porn giving you that loneliness relief, which it doesn't. You need to understand why it doesn't, and also understand that loneliness and boredom can be a good thing. It can be a good thing because, man, you couldn't— like, literally, I came up with the greatest ideas in my life because I was bored. I came up with, um, you know, all of my, my struggles when I had no
