In this candid vlog, the creator shares his personal journey of leaving college after one semester, emphasizing that his experience is not a universal prescription. He argues that while many successful entrepreneurs and YouTubers have dropped out, their success is not caused by quitting school, and many dropouts end up in unfulfilling jobs that go unseen. He critiques the trend‑driven narrative that glorifies dropping out and warns against following it blindly. The speaker explains that his own decision stemmed from a misalignment between academic curricula and his ambitious goals—creating a manga, producing MrBeast‑style challenge videos, and building a clothing brand—none of which require a degree. He contrasts the limited, book‑based learning of school with hands‑on business experience, highlighting mistakes he learned from in his brand. The video also details the resistance he faced from family and friends who believed they knew his best path, and how he chose to stay true to his own blueprint. Since dropping out, he has gained abundant free time, undertaken a dopamine detox, practiced mindfulness, exercised, and improved his confidence and speaking skills. He reflects on the importance of taking breaks, questioning societal expectations like avoiding gap years, and encourages viewers to prioritize personal growth over conventional milestones.

I dropped out of college. Now look, this video is not like— I don't want, I don't want this video to be like every other videos where like people say I dropped out of college and that's why I'm successful and you should do the same and this and that. Like, bro, to be honest, I just want to tell my experience. And even though my experience is kind of like against college, against school and everything, it doesn't mean it's the same for you. It's the— it really doesn't mean it's the same for you. If you look at— you can look at successful people on YouTube who dropped out of college. You can look at successful entrepreneurs. You can look at successful businessmen. But even if they dropped out of college, doesn't mean that's why they're successful. You don't see the people who dropped out of college and that just basically do nothing with their life. They just work at McDonald's. You don't see them. So I want to tell y'all, like, bro, don't go just— don't, don't, don't go just with the trends and everything, because the trends, like, if you just, if you just really just, uh, rely on the trend, bro, you're, you're not going anywhere. It's like someone is just taking you with the leash, like, like a dog, and you just, you just following them. Like, it doesn't work like that. Is the school system fucked up? For me, yes. For me, I don't give a fuck. School is like I don't like school. I just like the social aspect. I don't like anything else. And plus, I didn't have like that much of a— I have social skills and I have like sort of like social, okay, can you say like social prestige? Like I didn't have like a reputation basically, so I didn't really enjoy it too much. Now I enjoy like the physical activities, like, you know, playing basketball, doing, playing soccer, anything. But bro, the rest, especially for the last years. Now the problem with that is I watch people on YouTube telling other people that, you know, dropping out of school is bad. Not dropping out of school is bad. I mean, I watch people that was like, I dropped out of school, it's the best thing you can do. Fuck school. Like, and they tell like negative things about school and that goes into your mind and then you sit like everywhere. Because I'm gonna be honest, I was in class and I was just like, Man, why am I here? Like, why do— You know when you start self-improving and everything, you start realizing like, bro, all people are distracted. Just what are they doing with their life? They're just in a class for no reason basically. And I was like, why would I waste my time on this? Plus I kind of had a business on the side, so I was like, I want to spend time on my business. So I'm gonna be, I went to college. I went to college. After one semester, I decided I was gonna drop out. I mean, it's dropping out, but to be honest, I took a break, but for me, it's dropping out. For me, I'm not going back to school no more. For me, I don't care why, and why I dropped out is simply because nothing is Uh, nothing related to school is aligned with my goals. I don't have any goals that require school, bro. I have so many big and like ambitious goals, and they don't require— they don't require school, they don't require anything. They just require me consistently putting the work. For example, I'm gonna tell you one of my like big goals, okay? Big, big goals. That goal is to, um, basically create my own manga, like literally like be an author and create my own manga like any, any other, uh, any other author, like the one who did Attack on Titan, the one who did Naruto. I want to be a mangaka basically. Another, another goal would be to make a sort of like MrBeast type videos. I want to make videos like this where I do like challenges and I give money to people. I want to do those things, but they don't require school for me. So I had to be mature about it. I had to be like, I didn't just go with the trends and be like, oh yeah, school is, it's not worth it. If I wanted to, for example, be a doctor, if I want a doc, if I wanted to be anything that requires school, basically I would have to go to school. Let's be mature about it. I would have to put in the work. But for me, bro, it's not worth it. I can say so many negative things about school. I can say so many, maybe I got programmed, maybe I just think like this, but I'm not gonna say them that much because you don't want to have negative thoughts about school because once you'll be in school, you'll hate school so much. You'll hate school so much. That's what happened to me. And I'm gonna be honest, I skipped a lot of class in college. I skipped a lot of class. Don't tell anyone. I skipped a lot of class. I was just working on my business instead. I mean, maybe that's mature, maybe that's not mature, but I don't really care. Now I faced like a lot of resistance. I mean, not too much, but I faced kind of a lot. But the thing that helped me is I'm not someone who tells everything about myself to everyone. So if, for example, a friend of mine asked me like about anything, I wouldn't say, oh no, I'm not going to school. No, I'm not, I'm not going to take it. Uh, no, I took a school break. I'm not— I'm never gonna say this, I'm never gonna say this, but people around me, bro, I'm gonna be honest, a lot— because people want the best for you, but they really don't know what's the best for you. They really don't know what's the best for you. Maybe they think I'm 18, I'm not mature, like I'm just really just— I'm just lazy, I don't want to go to school. But it's not like this, it's not like this. Like, to be honest, bro, only 3 years of school I can do this easily. I can do this easy. I just don't want to. I want instead 3 years of business, business experiences, 3 years of YouTube. Imagine 3 years of YouTube. Imagine 3 years of a clothing brand. Imagine 3 years of learning a skill. Imagine 3 years of trying to learn how to draw. Like, you see that you're gonna gain so much experience. That's the problem with school. They wanna teach you things. They wanna teach you things right now. Like, you don't have, but they don't really, there's no real experiences. Like, you wanna go to business school. I don't know what business school are, but you wanna go to business school. But if you just learn with books and everything, you're not gonna learn as much as someone who really is out there selling his products. Running this business, uh, you know, failing and learning. That's like, for example, I have my clothing brand and I just learned about samples and everything. Now I've made a mistake and I learned. That's the kind of experience I don't want someone to tell me a thousand different, a thousand different things. Because like I said in my past video, you, when you learn by experience, it stays in your brain. When you learn in a book, it doesn't really stays in your brain that much. You cannot have the whole book in your head. You cannot have every letter and every sentences. But if it's experiences, it stays in your brain. Now, my mistake I've done with my clothing brand, it stayed in my brain. I'm not gonna do it again. I can teach other people to not do it. You see what I mean? It's hard because, uh, am I gonna insult people again? Like, okay, I'm gonna be straight honest. I'm gonna be 100% authentic, 100% honest. People around me are not where I want to be, and they're the people trying to guide me, but they're doing this for the— I mean, because they think it's the, you know, the good thing for me, but they don't realize, because I'm gonna be honest again, people don't have consciousness or mindfulness of Not too much change because it's like, it's like you're telling someone to eat healthy but you're not eating healthy. That's basically what, what they're doing. They're like, you know, basically go, go to school so you can start your business. But have you ever tried this? Have you ever known someone who does this? Like go to school for 3 years and then, uh, stack up money so you— because they think These people didn't even run a business, but they think, oh, you need $20K to start a business. I was like, no, I'm doing my clothing brand with like $500. And these people think you need so much money, they think this because they don't have iPhones. They don't— I don't know, bro. People have limiting beliefs. People have limiting beliefs. And never, I swear, if you think someone does this for the good of you. Like, because for example, someone wants you to, I don't know, bro, uh, uh, go, go to university. Like, you gotta be, you gotta do your own, have your own choice. Because to be honest, me with the resistance, I almost like gave up. I almost gave up. I was like, I'm gonna go to school so I can please these people. But I was like, no, hell no. I was like, I'm gonna face this because I know I was gonna grow if I faced it. I faced it off. I was like, I really wanted to like give up, but I was like, no, bro, I'm not gonna. I'm never gonna do that. Even though I want to give up, I'm not gonna do it. My brain is gonna, is gonna say no. My brain is gonna say no. I don't care. So the thing is, people around me think they know what to do for me. For like, they think they know the blueprint, but they really don't know. A lot of people don't know the blueprint for your life. You, you know, or people that have made it. Like, for example, me, I look up to YouTubers, Jordan Green, Hamza, and everything, because I want to be a YouTuber too. I look up to those people and, you know, I learned from them. I don't— I ask advice from them, not from people that didn't even do what I want to do. I'm gonna be honest, ever since I dropped out, like I have so much free time that, bro, I'm grateful. I'm very grateful because I've made so much progress, so much reflection, so much like introspectiveness. Because first of all, I'm on a dopamine detox where I don't have that much technology. I go outside a lot. I go for walks. I go in nature. Like, I never thought I would've done that consistently. Now I do it consistently almost every day. You know, I try new things. I got better at YouTube. I'm way more confident speaking, and it's— I'm not even at my peak, you know. I discovered a lot of things about myself. I think people need a break from everything. People need a break from people, from other people. Sometimes people need a break from dopamine, especially dopamine. You need a break from dopamine. It's going to be like, in the long run, you're going to find yourself because— just because of that, because you're not going to waste your time on Nonsense. You don't know what you're good at, you don't know what you love, then do this. Even me, bro, I don't even know if I want to continue this YouTube. I don't even know what I love, but I keep doing this dopamine detox, and it's just so I can save up time and really think, practice mindfulness, practice meditation, practice better health. That's what happened when I kind of took a break, not only from school but from dopamine. So you just need a break in life. Sometimes you need a break. A lot of people say don't take a gap year in your first year, but bro, do you, do you, to be honest.
