The best feeling you can get

In this motivational monologue, the speaker argues that the most rewarding feeling comes from consistent, long‑term effort and the resulting delayed gratification. By cutting out instant‑gratification activities such as Netflix, Instagram, and other dopamine‑heavy stimuli, the speaker claims they have become more motivated to improve their body, knowledge, and business. They describe a personal “dopamine detox” or “monk mode” plan—reducing 80% of instant pleasures and keeping only 20%—which they say leads to a euphoric sense of achievement, higher confidence, and a future self that will thank them. The talk weaves personal anecdotes (reading a chapter a day, a year of consistent workouts) with broader claims about gaining a competitive edge in wealth creation and health by being among the few who practice rigorous self‑improvement. The speaker dismisses generic advice from people who haven’t lived the habits themselves and urges listeners to adopt a stricter, self‑designed detox to experience lasting fulfillment.

Now look, this is the best feeling you can get, okay? Now you gotta— I think you gotta strive for this feeling. Now this feeling is once you've been putting work consistently and you see the results of the bigger thing, and you see that in the future your life will be set up like your future self will thank you for it. That's the best thing. That's the best feeling you can get. Like, literally, I don't care about your Netflix, I don't care about your Instagram scrolling, I don't care about this dopamine. This is the best type of gratification you can get, okay? This is the type of gratification that I think everyone should be striving for. The delayed gratification, not instant gratification. Once I started cutting off all the instant gratification, Now suddenly I'm way more motivated to do things like building your body, gaining knowledge, reading books. I've read so much books. I've read like, I read like a chapter in a day and I've read so much books just because of that. I've been consistently doing the same thing. Not the same thing in the same, like crazy, like I've been doing like the same things that benefit my life. Once you, for example, once you've been, just imagine you've been working out consistently for 1 year. Imagine the feeling. That's how you, like, that's the feeling you get once you work on yourself consistently, okay? I'm not someone who literally spends like 18 hours a day working on business or 5 hours in the gym. No, I don't do that, okay? I just be consistently doing things. In a smart way. That's how I— like, yeah, that's like, bro, just small things. Once you start building your habits and you see the results and you see that, you know, let's say 5 years from now, if you keep on doing like those things and you keep on expanding your knowledge and you keep on trying new things, you know that you're gonna be set up for life. Like, you're gonna be like way ahead of your past self, basically. Like, you're gonna be like, your future self is gonna thank you like a thousand times. That's how I feel sometimes, and that's a good feeling. It's like a feeling of euphoria, okay? I'm not trying to brag. If you never felt like this, like, you probably did, okay? Just, you just don't remember. But, you know, yesterday I had this feeling because, you know, I was thinking about my diet. And I was thinking about like the food I was eating. I was thinking about like I was eating so much like healthy foods that are gonna support my body and my health. And I got a sense of like euphoria, like I was gonna like, maybe it's testosterone, like I was gonna like be at the top of the world or something. I don't know, like it's crazy, bro. You become more confident once you get like those feelings. I don't know, it's like you achieved something, but when, like, subconsciously, like, you didn't just do something, just reach something because you realize, like, all your efforts. You know, I was thinking about, like, my habits that I've picked up, my, you know, the habits I've been doing consistently, you know, taking care of my health, taking care of my body, you know, working out, and it feels good. It's like, I don't know, It might seem sort of bold or, I don't know, mean, but once you see how much other people are doing that, you know that you're gonna be like, for example, if you want money, you know that money's gonna be way more easy for you to have since you don't have much competition. 'Cause think about it, who is your competition around you in real life? Yes, on the internet you got people that doing things and that, like, no, and yes, you shouldn't compare yourself to anyone. But let's say it was like a market and your goal was to be rich. Now imagine everyone who is on self-improvement, working out, being consistently doing things, on the dopamine detox, cutting off instant gratification. Now money will be harder to have, okay? Because there's gonna be more people. The market will be more saturated. But think about it. Do you think people have— Yes, a lot of people get on self-improvement, but in real life, bro, I don't know much people on self-improvement. Yes, people sometimes, they have their habits of taking care of themselves, natural things and everything. But think about— I know I might seem very egoistical or something, but I don't have much competition in terms of if I want to be wealthy. Like, I don't— yes, there's people that have a lot of knowledge and everything. I'm not saying this, but like, think about it. You are putting it— like, you putting work is probably the best feeling once you've been putting in consistently. Now, how do you manage to like go on sort of like a state of you putting work consistently? Cut off right now, cut off instant gratification. Cut off 80% of your instant gratification and keep 20%. Now, what I call this, it's a dopamine detox. I got like a lot of videos about this. I got like dopamine detox videos. I got a monk mode plan. Just search up my monk mode plan. If you do this to your own, like you can modify it to your own, and if you actually do it like in the long run, bro, this is gonna be the best the best thing you can do, okay? Like, it's crazy because every time I think about this and, you know, I really want to make it even more strict. Like my dopamine detox plan, like I want to make it even more strict to the point where I don't have much dopamine in my life. So I'm really even more striving for the things that are gonna fulfill me in the long run, whether it's building my body, whether it's building my health, whether it's building a business. Because these things will give me the gratification that I normally have every day, but now I don't. You know what I mean? Like, you get— once you, you know, be on Netflix, once you be on Instagram, once you be on YouTube, once you be like on porn and everything, you feel, you feel like, you feel in a sense of euphoria because that's dopamine. Dopamine gives you sense of euphoria once you have too much. But imagine getting that sense of fulfillment from some things you've been doing for a long, long time. Because, you know, we as a society or something, like, I don't wanna be in this society, but we say things like, you know, take, like, don't be so harsh on yourself, you know, take some rest and, you know, watch a movie or, you know, eat some junk food sometimes. Like, okay, if you want to do it, then yes. But the problem with that is the people saying that are not the people doing the same habits as someone who is like, let's say, building your body. Because, you know, we like to say like, oh, don't always eat healthy 24/7 because, you know, you're gonna feel deprived. But have you ever tried to eat healthy 24/7? Have you ever tried to build a body so you need to get healthy? Like, that's what you gotta question. Now, I'm not trying to make, I'm not trying to insult anyone, but just don't listen to advice. For me, that's what I do. I don't listen to advice if people never tried something. You know, it's crazy 'cause you get advice from people that, like on business, once they never did business. And it's not even advice, it's negative things. You just gotta stop listening. And simple, strive. I can tell you right now, like this is the one thing you gotta do. Strive to remove your instant gratification. So you're gonna strive for delaying gratification activities, okay? Like building a body will become more fun and you will be more motivated. Building a business will become more fun and you will be more motivated. Health, like eating healthy will be like more fun. Like, bro, it's crazy. Go on a dopamine detox. This is not no plan or something. This is just like remove the stimulation that is man-made from like, just remove the stimulation basically, okay? Once you remove the stimulation, bro, your life will be way better. I can tell you 100% right now, 100%. This is how I feel ever since I started my monk mode plan back in like December of last year. Like my life changed because Even now, even like reading becomes like an instant gratification activity in a sense. If I make my dopamine detox even more strict, reading is going to be even more fun. That's what you got to understand. If you, let's say for one day you went without technology, reading will become more fun for you. You're going to be quote unquote bored, but also you're not going to be stimulated, so you're you're gonna reach for the, let's say, like the best amount of stimulation that you can get. And maybe that will be reading, maybe that will be eating, like I don't know. But bro, really strive to improve your life. And this is not no, no, like, you know, like you just, bro, just try to improve your life. Just please do it. Go on a dopamine detox. Remove the stimulation, everything will become more easy. And, but this feeling of sort of like euphoria is the one of the best thing you can get. Maybe it's serotonin, I don't know. But bro, keep striving, keep striving for this.
