The Scientific Benefits Of Quitting Porn

In this monologue, the speaker critiques the hyperbolic claims of the NoFap community and separates the discussion into objective and subjective benefits of quitting pornography and masturbation. He argues that the primary objective benefit is the reclamation of time, which he says is often wasted not just in the act itself but in the guilt and shame cycle that follows, leading to stagnation in personal, relational, and spiritual domains. The second benefit is heightened focus: with the mental bandwidth freed from porn‑related fantasies, individuals can direct their attention fully toward projects, fitness, religious practice, and relationships. The third benefit is a surge in energy, drive, and hunger, likened to a primal motivational state that fuels ambition, resilience, and the willingness to confront challenges. He further explains how these benefits translate into breaking limiting beliefs, pursuing family and religious goals, and improving overall life trajectory. Throughout, he uses personal anecdotes, vivid visualizations of a future family life, and a motivational tone, while warning against viewing porn as a substitute for real intimacy. The video concludes with a call‑to‑action for a free course on subconscious alteration to help quit porn permanently and a teaser for a future business‑focused video.

Wondering what are the actual scientific benefits of quitting porn and masturbation? You gotta understand that there's a huge difference between objective benefits and subjective benefits, okay? Now, the problem we have in this NoFap space is we genuinely believe that it's gonna literally take away all of our problems if we quit porn, and that we're gonna basically be able to have superpowers. I don't disagree necessarily when it comes to taking away some of the problems in your life, But we gotta look at what actually will happen objectively, meaning like, by all means, if you quit porn, like, this is gonna happen no matter what. And we can also look at the subjective benefits, which means what can happen to you subjectively based on you, okay? So we have those benefits, okay? And there's 3 of them that can lead to literally changing your life forever, okay? Now, I don't wanna exaggerate those benefits. But these benefits, um, you probably don't know of them because like NoFap just tells you that you'll be able to meditate and just like levitate or something, or that you'll be able to like, um, what is it, just talk to women just because your semen is not expelled, which is kind of bollocks if you think about it. You really think that because someone ejaculates that now he cannot talk to women, or that now he cannot do any projects in his life? Well, it's not a cause and effect, right? There's other factors that creates that reaction. And that's what we need to also realize. But the first benefit, and this is gonna change your life forever, and it's so simple, but yet like most people don't realize, is that no matter what, what you'll get is time, okay? Now I know this doesn't sound like too sexy, like time, but let me tell you what you can do with time because look, there's can be so many things that can come out of this, right? When I stopped playing video games, okay, video games, of course I was playing like 10, 16 hours a day, whatever, right? But if we really look at it, okay, when it comes to porn in and of itself, okay, most people, they don't just spend 1 hour watching porn and then that's it, and now like they're productive again. Most people, because of the shame complex and because of other factors such as, you know, guilt and overall shame, right? They literally spend like days, they lose days on their end. They literally lose so much time that they just end up regretting their lives, okay? Because look, just make a quick realization, okay? Imagine you have more time, okay? Imagine that you didn't waste one hour watching porn that led to you feeling bad for 3 days and not doing anything with your life. And then, you know, going back to porn and doing the same cycle over and over again. I've talked to so many people that just because of that cycle that they kind of like impose on themselves, they literally, literally are in their 30s, sometimes 40s, and they're in the same situation as when they were like teenagers. Meaning like they're almost the same level of maturity. They still live with their parents. They still, you know, literally, they don't have a relationship, they're not married, they're not progressing in any ways of life. I'm not saying that your life should be just like, oh, be productive with your time 24/7 so that you can achieve all of those surface-level goals. Obviously not. But I'm saying there's so much more to life, okay? And I want you to just visualize this because I know you guys that are watching have similar goals, right? And one of those goals, for example, is being able to be married and have a family in the future and become that masculine man that can lead other people and help other people, right? And obviously being a man of God. So imagine, bro, just imagine that, and this is something I actually visualized back then that made me very motivated to achieve other things in my life. Imagine that you're with your soon-to-be wife or you're with your wife you guys like go up a mountain and, you know, the scenery is beautiful. You know, you're in nature, it's so calm and she's calm, you're calm and you're just like feeling good. And, you know, you go up the mountain and then you hit a spot where it's like, you just see the beautiful scenery, you see like farms, you see like land and you guys start talking about like how are you gonna have like your first baby? How are you gonna have like your first, children on the way and you're talking about like how you're gonna educate him, how he's gonna live his life, how he's gonna be able to live life to the fullest, how you're gonna be able to be a good father figure for him. You talk with your wife about like how you want her to be at home and you're gonna be able to teach your children like, you know, lifting weights, being a man of God, being a man that is actually masculine. And she looks at you with admiration knowing that she like literally married the best future father figure for her son or daughter. And you guys talk about how you're gonna live in this beautiful house, you know, near farms and you're gonna be able even to have animals. You're gonna be able to provide, you're gonna be able to give your children the life that you wanted as a child, right? And she just like hugs you and she's like, you know, so happy to be with you and she just like, shows you that, you know, she, she will be by your side for the rest of your life. And she shows it, you know, by hugging you, by, by showing that you actually like to really care about you and that she wants to be with you and that she will love you no matter what. This could genuinely be your life, especially if you're in your mid-20s or 30s. But most people, they waste their time. And look, this doesn't just apply to porn and masturbation. This can apply to anything that doesn't give an objective benefit. Porn doesn't give any benefits, that's why it's a time waster. It's just a pure fantasy, okay? It's just you and literally porn says this in of itself. The site says this, it's like, go and just live in, it's like you're living in, what is it called? What people pay nowadays? You're living in like this digital realm in a sense, right? You know how people like put this like, um, this vision thing, like this, uh, VR? Yeah, they play like this VR stuff and they just live their lives inside of that. It's kind of like the same thing with porn. It's like you just waste your time, you know. Life has so much more to offer. Life has so much more to offer than just like wasting your time on either watching porn watching videos because you cannot quit porn, and, you know, just struggling and just being in shame and guilt. It's just a life that is not, you know, really worth living compared to a life that you actually go out there and, like I said, you build that family, you're with your wife and everything. Because genuinely, you know, it, it could be your life, right? If you don't waste like years watching porn, if you don't waste years just procrastinating, okay? So that's the thing, you'll get a time, right? And time means like improving yourself, right? Improving means, uh, meeting, for example, different people, right? So for example, that could be like, um, women for marriage, right? That could be you building like meaningful projects that would could change like your life forever. So for example, I don't know, but many people, for example, they tell me that they want to pursue something religious, and that could change not only your life but the people's around you life, uh, people, the life of the other people around you. Sorry. And there's so many much more, man. Like, I'm not saying that you need to be productive like 24/7, like improve yourself constantly, meet new women constantly, work on projects constantly, but I'm saying like The options are unlimited. It's just that when you really go out of your bubble and you really stop spending your time on distractions, what happens is you just start like doing things naturally that will propel you forward because that's the only thing. I mean, if you're out there, you're literally going out of your house, you're literally meeting new people, you're literally working on projects, you're literally meeting women that you could be married to, you're literally spending more time doing religious things, then obviously your life is gonna improve compared to staying in front of the computer watching porn, right? And it's not like I wanna say that this is shameful that you're watching porn, But I'm just saying that objectively, just because porn has generally no benefits, then you're wasting your time. If you look at the actual act of sex, right, within a marriage, then you'll see that like, you know, there's literally, you're with another person, right? You're another human being that you can, you know, give love to, you can deepen your relationship to, and it is like an act of God, right, within your marriage. But with porn, there's none of that because porn is not even like your, And porn tries to tell you that it's like a substitute for you not having a partner, but that's just pure BS because you're literally watching a video on the screen. I wouldn't say that, oh, because I'm watching a video about women, then I mean that it feels like I'm in a relationship. It wouldn't make sense. The same logic can be applied to porn, okay? So time, time is so important, okay? You don't wanna waste it. I've talked to so many people, I'll repeat it again. I've talked to so many people in their 30s, sometimes 40s, and even more that literally made no progress. Not necessarily like in their career, right? Sometimes it is the case where they still work low entry-level job that pays them like almost minimum salary in the same position as if they were 18 years old. Literally, literally. And obviously I don't wanna compare anyone with anyone, but what you could do and what people do, and like for example, their 20s nowadays, when it comes to those aspects of life— improving, meeting women for marriage, projects, building a relationship with God. Some people do it like literally at 18 years old. Some people do it in their 20s, and they're just like doing those things that you could do. I'm just saying that you could do them if you're not wasting your time, you're actually facing life instead of hiding behind porn, okay, and wasting your time. Because remember, it's not 1 hour of porn you watch for most people. Yeah, for some people it can be Sorry, sorry guys. For some people, it could be like you actually watch 1 hour of porn and then you just move on with your day and do other stuff. Cool. But I'm just saying, instead of 1 hour wasted— but most people, it is more. It is literally days where they just give themselves this excuse that, you know, I feel bad, so I'm not going to do anything with my life. I'm going to stay in my home. I'm going to stay isolated. I'm not going to talk to anyone. I'm not going to improve myself as much. I'm not going to start new projects. I'm not going to start a new career. Whatever, okay. Second benefits, focus. Now focus is something that could be good when you have time, like can be literally life-changing. Obviously if you don't have time to focus, doesn't really matter, right? But everyone has time. I still talk to people that say, oh, I don't have time, I'm too busy. But then they spend time watching porn, they spend time watching movies because they feel bad, they spend time going out doing dumb things, right? So, but the thing is, when you have that first benefit and then you have focus, what happens is, okay, what happens is, for example, you have the project and instead of just putting like 10% of your effort, you just naturally wanna put in your 100%. I'm not saying like necessarily all of the time, but most of the time you're willing to go past that, right? You're willing to go past the overall, you know, low kind of like focus. You're willing to just put in your 100%. So for example, if your only option in your mind, because a lot of people think one of the options is instead of being a partner, they can just watch porn because it will give them a stress relief and masturbation will give them a sexual relief, sorry. So they think genuinely in their mind like, oh yeah, I have porn masturbation as an option. I know it's bad and it's shameful, but it is one of the options or I could get a real partner. That's what you think in the mind, right? If you're honest, that's what you're probably thinking if you're still watching porn. But, okay, when you kind of like don't have that option because you said, you know what, I'm gonna leave porn and masturbation behind, you're just left with like having a real partner. And trust me, the level of focus, meaning like the level of action you're gonna take and the intensity of which the actions you're gonna take, it's gonna be so high compared to what you used to do. So that means, for example, if you're meeting with your woman, you're not gonna be like, oh, you know, I'll just try to like do the bare minimum. It's gonna be like, man, I'm gonna go and improve myself. I'm gonna go to the, I'm gonna go to the gym and put my 100% there. I'm gonna improve the diet and put the 100% there. And it can be also, and obviously don't do this just for women, obviously. The most important thing is you'll learn more about God, your religion. I'm gonna put my 100% there. It's not like this is a game of like, oh, you're gonna improve that like a video game. But I'm saying like, it's just naturally, instead of, you know, putting that focus on porn, masturbation— and obviously focus is like, it's kind of limited if you really think about it, because you wake up in the morning, you have a lot of focus. Maybe it is subjective, maybe it's just me having a limiting belief. Obviously you can focus all day, but it feels like your level of focus always decreases. So if you're spending a lot of mental energy on your fantasy whilst you're watching porn, whilst you're masturbating, then that focus gets lowered. That's normal, okay? That's, I always say objective. It's kind of hard to say if it's subjective or objective, but we'll say that is objective, that your level of focus decreases, okay? So when you don't decrease your level of focus, you have it in the gym, you have it in your diet, you have it with God, for example, okay? And so that's what happens, okay? And you have it in the other aspects, okay? Really think about it. Family, for example, right? Instead of feeling, you know, like you're just too tired to talk to them, you have that focus. It's not even energy, it's just like you're willing to do more in that sense, okay? And that's just like, that's just beautiful because you kind of go back to the natural state of human beings, okay? And that ties to the third benefit, which to me is my personal favorite because that's what actually made me wanna just like pursue this lifestyle forever. Before I was like religious and all of those things, okay? So that's benefits. By the way, my whiteboard is like standing on like barely anything, okay? It can fall at any time. It's literally standing on like stickers, right? Third benefit is energy slash drive, okay? Slash hunger. And don't underestimate that, man. Don't underestimate that. You know how human beings, right, like animals, for example, if I put you in a situation, let's say for example you were like a caveman, right? And I put you in a situation where it's like you gotta fight to death. You'll be willing to like fight to death 100%, right, in order to survive, right? And you'll be willing to like take hits. You'll be willing to like, you know, do anything. Or if I told you, for example, if you look at Alexander the Great, for example, right, who literally was willing to conquer everything. Humans, especially men, right, I'm not sure for women because I haven't studied that, but especially men, like, we're willing to do so much in order to achieve something that is meaningful to us. But if we're constantly distracted, our focus constantly taken away, our time is constantly taken away by watching or by masturbating, and then we feel that shame, and then we feel lower about ourselves, then you're not gonna be in that state. But when you're in that state, okay, you're willing to do anything. I'm saying like willing to do anything based on like what is acceptable for you, right? But let me tell you, okay, if for example you're at the gym, right? And this goes again with the focus. If for example you think, oh yeah, I wanna be a father in the future and you write down your vision, you're like, oh yeah, I wanna be a father that is like very well in shape because I wanna be an example for my future kids. That drive and anger within you is gonna be so higher because you're not constantly distracted. You're going back to the like the natural state of human beings, which is they have this kind of like inner motivator within them, okay? That's what you need to understand is human beings live with kind of like a natural drive to do anything that they set their minds to, okay? But if you're constantly giving yourself distractions, you're constantly putting your focus away, then obviously you're not gonna get that, right? And that could apply to video games, that could apply to smoking, that could apply to even just hanging around people all day long and doing nothing, right? But when you're left with that drive and hunger, you're willing to do anything, like literally anything. I'm saying, Instead of, for example, if I tell you, okay, in order to achieve your dream career, you're gonna be having to do one of the hardest tests in life. You're gonna be like, you know what, let's do it. If it's reasonable for you, obviously. For example, if I tell you, okay, if you run a marathon, you're gonna be very mentally strong and you want to be mentally strong, you'll be willing to do that. You'll be like, you know what, let me train and let me get it. Like literally, okay, that's what happened to me. I ran a marathon because I was like, you know what, I just wanna be mentally strong. And I did it, right? And so many other things, you're willing to put yourself out there, right? So for example, if one of your goals is to have a family, well, you're willing to like literally improve aspects of your life, whether that be social skills, whether that be your confidence, whether that be your physique, whether that be your charisma, whatever, you'll be willing to improve it every single second of the day. Right, when you're thinking about those things, right? It's like you're constantly just wanting to achieve things rather than just, you know, feeling low and just feeling like, oh yeah, I don't have any more energy. You'll be constantly wanting to achieve things. And that means anything that you feel like scared to, right? Anything that used to scare you is now like, you know what, I actually wanna do it because I know it's gonna take me to the next level. And then you do it. Literally, it is literally life-changing, okay? It's just most people nowadays, sadly, they're not in that state anymore, right? And that can be also translated into like you learning more about your religion again, right? That can be translated into you reading more books. That can be translated into you building deeper relationships with your own family. That can be translated to you putting more work to achieve whatever it is required, right? And that's what happens. It's just that people nowadays, they, they're so distracted, right? And not just porn, right? Obviously porn can be one of those, um, areas where they did the— I mean, one of those objects, we'll call it objects, that they're distracted with. But you know, they're always watching sports, people. They're always going out doing like dumb stuff. They're always doing, doing this and this and that, right? And they have big goals, right? Whether that be to be successful in life, whether that be to have a big family, whatever. But they're not willing to put in the work because it's like they're they're so distracted that they're not thinking about their goals. And so they don't have that drive because when you're constantly thinking about your goals or when you're just thinking about your goals in general, and goals, I don't mean just make money, right? That can be way, it can be building a family, like I said, it can be being married, it can be being a role model, it can be you helping other people, right? But when you have those goals in the back of your mind, you're just willing to achieve them. It's like you just like, It's like you're willing to go 2 steps forward than, you know, what you used to put in in terms of work, right? And that's so powerful, okay? So don't underestimate that. And obviously if you have energy, I mean, look, you can do so much more, okay? And that's what happens. So you'll be literally willing to just like do things you're scared of, okay? Which, for example, that can be things that will literally open up new opportunities for you, whether that be in your career, right? Whether that be in anything else, right? Because I see a lot of the time people are like, oh, I watch porn and then because of that I missed a lot of opportunities. Because of that I've ruined my relationships. But if you had that drive and hunger, then that means like, let's say for example your relationship was going bad, then you'll be willing to improve it. It's like you're constantly having that mindset of like, "Okay, this went bad. I feel kind of bad about it, but I just want to improve that because I know that I'm gonna be able to be better next time." And then with time, it compounds as you just constantly have that mindset and then boom, you just become a new man, okay? So that's what you need to understand. You'll be willing to just improve, okay, things when they go wrong. When they go wrong, Okay. And another thing which might sound like not really obvious, but you'll be willing to like break limiting beliefs. Okay. So let's say for example, something is not working. Okay. Let me just check if I'm still recording, 'cause I don't even know. Yeah, I'm recording. Okay. So, wow, my writing is so good, man. I don't know what to do, man. Break limiting beliefs. So what I mean by that is, for example, Let's say that you believe that you're short, okay? Because for example, I'm 5'6", okay? And if I believe that I'm short, instead of being like, "Ah, you know what? I already feel tired. I don't even have time. I wasted my time on porn. I feel shame and guilt. And on top of that, I'm short, so I'm never gonna be able to attract any woman." Then it's like, cool. I mean, you're just gonna do nothing basically. And you're gonna be one of those guys that comments on the videos like, "Oh, all women are bad, you know?" Uh, you know, life is miserable. Uh, I can never date anyone because I'm short, right? Whatever, whatever people say. I cannot get married, for example. Now it's like, because you're going to be improving your life because you have so much drive and hunger, and then you know that you have like, oh yeah, I'm short, maybe I can't get a woman. Well, you'd be willing to find ways to break that limiting belief, whether it be through action or information. And that's going to literally change your life forever, okay? Because if you really think about it, right, There's this cliché saying that says that life is like 90% mental and 10% physical. But if you really think about it, okay, if I think I'm short and that I cannot attract any woman, or if I think I'm short and I cannot get the respect from anyone else, well, I'm not gonna even take action, right? The physical is not even gonna happen, right? So when you change the mental, when you change those beliefs, when you change those perceptions, then you'll be willing to take those actions. And that's when your life changes. I repeat that so many times, but it's like I see it and I'm so kind of like sad to see it constantly that people were just like, yeah, I mean, you know, I wish this could happen in my life, but I have this, I have this problem. You know, I wanna be married, but I have this, I have that. Like they just constantly make up excuses based on limiting beliefs that they've been fed by society. And what you need to understand, I'm gonna make a video on this next, is society is just like, we live in a capitalistic society. So that means that people are gonna create problems for you in your own mind and you might believe in them in order for them to sell your products, right? They're gonna tell you, for example, the key to life is self-improvement. They're gonna tell you, for example, in order to feel less insecure, you need to have a car like this or you need to have a house like this, right? And I'm not saying that you shouldn't achieve anything. I'm just saying that they'll constantly create things to make you feel lower so so that their product can look like this is what's gonna actually make you feel better, okay? Goddamn, man. So these are the objective benefits. That's what's gonna happen. You're not gonna have superpowers, obviously not, right? You're not gonna be like, oh, magically now I can just talk to women, or magically now there's a, I just had a kid and nothing happened. I did not do anything about it, right? It's just that you're gonna have those things and then it's gonna translate into those areas of your life that are meaningful to you. It's just like a tool, right? And quitting porn is so effortless, right? Watch my other videos to learn more about it. But anyway, I have a school community with a 2-hour full course on subconscious alternation that will literally help you quit forever. Trust me, okay? It's free. You can join down below in the description. Anyways, in the next video, we're gonna talk about the business side of things of LUS, and it is literally gonna be the best thing you'll ever see.
