Willpower is bullshit. To stop procrastinating, you need a routine, okay? To actually stop procrastinating, you need a routine. Willpower comes in a limited amount every day. You don't have an infinite amount of willpower, okay? So when you have a routine, right, you're sort of like flawlessly going to what you gotta do. If you gotta do deep work, you you go flawlessly because you are used to going at the same time every day, doing the same thing. So you don't need willpower to be like, oh no, I don't wanna do it, because you're gonna do it at that time and you know you're gonna do it. But when you rely on willpower, let's say instead of reading each morning like you do in your routine, you decide to read whenever you want, right? And let's say it's 5 PM, you haven't read yet, you're, you're like, okay, I gotta read for today, bro, good luck, because you're gonna have to use willpower, and it's not gonna be as easy as if you just read every morning at pretty much the same time every day. Because like I said, willpower comes in a limited amount. It doesn't come in an infinite amount where you can just use willpower and you'll be good and everything, because If everyone had infinite willpower and everyone used willpower, then everyone will be successful, to be honest.
