Why Semen Retention = Female Attraction (NoFap)

Samir Gardner argues that quitting porn and masturbation makes men see women as people instead of objects, restores confidence and purpose, and deepens faith. He describes his own two-year shift from what he calls over-sexualization to approaching women without fear, and offers coaching to help others do the same.

The real reason why you want to quit porn and masturbation is because you want to attract women. And let me tell you why it's actually a good thing and how it actually happens once you quit porn and masturbation forever. Because myself, I've been able to be completely free from porn and masturbation, and I can tell you that not only did I do it because I wanted to attract women in all transparency, but also I've been actually able to attract women because of it. I'm going to tell you why this happens, but I still remember when I first started this quote unquote NoFap journey, my goal was just purely to attract women and stop being the weak, fragile, and the kind of guy that couldn't confront anyone. I was that type of guy and I hated that. And I knew that women would hate it as well, right? And they would just like, quote unquote, use me if I was in a relationship. And I barely ever talked to women when I was younger and I would watch porn, you know, multiple times every single day. But what I can tell you is that once I realized that NoFap could have been like the quote unquote answer to me being able to attract women. I literally was so motivated. I tried for like literally 2 years of constantly failing, going on long streaks, relapsing, whatever, and then going back to porn. But then after that, I've been able now to quit. It's been over 2 years. I've been able to fully quit porn and masturbation, and I've coached hundreds of men to do the same by doing the subconscious alternation, which allows you to get to the root cause. And ever since then, there's 2 things that happened. That allowed me to basically attract women. The first thing is I removed the oversexualization. So whenever I see a woman in public, instead of being like, oh my God, she looks so beautiful, she looks like she has the best body on earth, oh my, imagine having sex with her, I stopped having this kind of scenario playing in my head. Instead, I was like, oh, she looks beautiful. I started looking at a woman for what they were objectively and not for the sexual side of them. That is powerful because instead of pedestalizing women, when you see them, you just think, oh, she looks beautiful, let me compliment her. I did that so many times, just going up to women and saying, I thought you were beautiful. It's not even— sometimes I wasn't even asking the number. Sometimes I would just say it out of like a compliment because I wasn't stressed out being like, oh my God, what if she rejects me? Because I would watch so much porn, I would have no confidence, that I would just think about sex and I would pedestalize them. So if I was to get rejected, then what would happen is I would feel very bad, right? So I never really approached any woman because of that. But once I removed the oversexualization, it just became natural. It just became like, oh, I see beautiful women. It's like I'm in the flow. I'm like, okay, I'm gonna approach her. I know, I already know what she's gonna say. If she says something bad, I don't care. I'm just gonna move on with my day. I'm gonna actually take it as a way to grow and face rejection. That's it, okay? That's what happened. Now, once you just remove the idea of lust in your mind and instead you look at women for the attractiveness, you look at women for who they are, their personality, their personal life, and their whatever, their interests, their goals, their lifestyle. Now it's like, wow, like you actually see the real beauty. You don't see, oh my God, she looks so nice, and you're literally playing this now in your head where you're having sex with her, which is To be honest, I think it's weird, but it's subjective in that sense. Now the second thing, and this is one of the things that I talk the most about, and this is what everyone that literally quits porn and masturbation experience, is the drive for life that comes back. Look, I'm gonna be honest, right? I talk to many people on a daily basis, right? Because I'm always trying to help people to quit, whether it be through my coaching, whether it be through my YouTube videos, I send them my videos, I tell them to book a call with me, all of those things, right? I know I've helped many people quit like this overnight. I've helped people just quit also overall porn and masturbation forever. So I know I can help them. But I be seeing, especially on Reddit, I be seeing a lot of people who just gave up on life. It's almost as if they don't even want to try anymore. It's almost as if that drive for life, it just disappeared like this. And that's regardless of their age. Some of them can be 18, some of them can be 30, in their 40s even. Some of them are in their 30s, in their 40s, and they just gave up on life. It's like, what happens in their lives is they face a challenge. Let's say, for example, they get rejected by a woman, or let's say, for example, that they didn't get the attention from other women when they were younger. So now they have this belief that, oh, they're worth nothing. They're not gonna be able to achieve anything in life because it's gonna be useless. You know, I've literally had people that told me I'm 180 centimeters or something. Like, I'm— I had people tell me, oh, I'm 5'8", it's gonna be impossible for me to even date women, so I don't care, I'm not even gonna work a job, I'm not even gonna do anything, I'm just gonna basically give up on life. I've seen that so many times. You know, I'm 5'6", I'm literally 5'6", women are attracted to me, women want to be with me, but it's not because— and the height didn't even matter. I knew One guy personally in my life that was, I think, 5'5", right? Or even 5'4". And this guy was working on himself so hard. He had so much confidence. This guy was making a ton of money. I think he was in a relationship with another woman. He was being respected by every single man that I seen. He was living his life like he wanted to live it. And he was like 5'4", 5'5". He went to the gym a lot. He was actually jacked. He was really someone who I actually respected a lot just because of that, because He didn't— it wasn't like, oh, I'm young and I'm short, so that means no girls is gonna love me, so that means I cannot achieve anything in life. He had that drive within him to go and achieve those things. We all have that drive, but most people are too distracted by porn masturbation, or they're too distracted by their own beliefs saying that you're not gonna amount to anything, and they just use that as an excuse. It's not even a belief, it's just that you wanna use it as an excuse to do nothing with your life. But once you have that drive, man, life is completely different. You face a challenge and you're literally grateful that you're facing that challenge because you know you're gonna grow. And then you're gonna use your drive to go and put in the work even when it gets hard, even when it feels impossible, because your vision and goals are gonna matter to you because of all of that drive that you have within you. It's like you're gonna be hungry for food, so you're gonna fight. You're gonna fight with every ounce of your body because you're hungry and there's food in front of you, and now you need to fight for the food, so you're gonna fight like this, right? And trust me, this is the most powerful thing any human can experience. The lack of drive that people have in the society is literally the reason why they do nothing with their lives. I see so many people in their 30s, 40s do nothing. They still live with their parents. And it's not an insult, it's just to motivate them that I'm saying this, right? And to motivate you. Even though people face bigger and way bigger challenges than them, the people in this society just give up like this, right? And to me, it's sad. But if you have the drive, once you quit porn and masturbation, and once you just remove overall the distractions from your life and you just focus on what matters, man, that drive is going to come back. And on top of that, you're not going to be over-sexualizing women. On top of that, you're going to get closer to God. This is another thing. You're going to be able to really just dive deeper into your faith. You're going to be— because once you dive deeper into your faith, you're going to be more convinced of it most of the time. And once you're more convinced of it, then you're going to act naturally according to your faith, which means that you're going to do the right actions naturally. So it's going to change your life overall regardless if you quit porn Like, there's nothing wrong that's gonna happen. There's not— you're not gonna lose anything, you're just gonna gain everything.
