Why You Need To Focus On The Positive

Where you focus your attention determines your life quality. Obsessing over health problems or labels makes them worse, while directing energy toward work, learning, and enjoyable activities lets them flourish. Chronic overthinking damages your gut through the brain-gut axis, and endless scrolling offers only temporary relief from deeper unhappiness.

Okay, so let me rant for a bit, okay? If you want to live a good life, you cannot just focus on the negative, bro. That's one of the first things I learned in self-improvement. If you focus on the negative, your life is going to be negative. If you focus on the positive, your life is going to be positive. It was like the first thing I learned in self-improvement, like manifestation, law of attraction, or whatever, okay? Now, here's the problem with what I've learned from my experience. When I started like focus on like the little problems, when you focus on the little problems in your life, you literally just, it literally makes your life way worse than you think. Because think about it, if you just focus on the things that you like doing, you know, maybe just going out, having fun, doing business, all those things, like focus on those things. You will forget about these problems and these problems will not grow because when you focus on shit, then shit grows, okay? If you don't focus on it, it's not gonna grow. When you focus on a problem, it's gonna grow, okay? If you focus on your business, your business is gonna grow. Now, the problem is Like, for me, for example, I got told like, oh my, you know, I had like sort of like apparently like a genetic thing, like where, you know, you cannot like take the cold temperature and everything. Like, but the thing is, when people constantly tell you that thing, it's like your life starts revolving around that thing. It doesn't revolve about like having fun, having a good life. It makes your life seems like it's negative. Like, literally, I started to focus on my— how my body was, like, reacting to the cold temperatures and everything. And once I started focusing on that, my life started to become like— I was more sad. And not sad, but like, life seems like way worse just because you're not focusing on the things that— I wasn't focusing on the things that I like to do, you know. I like to learn, I like to to business, I like to go outside, I like to just do these simple things, okay? But if you just focus, for example, when you have, when people have sicknesses, some people instead of really focusing on the sicknesses, they'd rather do things like going out, having fun with people and everything because you don't wanna focus on that because one of the things I learned from Wellness Mogul Check out his channel, Wellness Mogul. He said like, like, this is not like for you young people and everything, but when you are sort of like sick, like let's say, let's say somebody get cancer, okay? Don't tell people that you have cancer, okay? The reason why is because the problem with that is like you literally— people literally start seeing you as someone who has cancer, and they give you that energy that, you know, as someone who is sick and has cancer, they're gonna start treating you differently, and they're gonna give you like— it's like when we're talking about like more spiritual stuff, it's like they give you bad energy because they see you as someone who is sick and someone who would like You know what I mean? Like, you— how can I explain? Like, you— people will start like— but they will not treat you as someone who is healthy, quote unquote, okay? They will, they will just see like all the things that— like all the little details about you that is the reason why you, uh, you have cancer, for example. That's why, bro, you gotta stop focusing on the little problems. Yes, fix the problem, of course. But it's not on focusing, focusing on the problem and doing nothing that it's gonna work. If you just look at the problem, what is it gonna change? That's why I can't understand people that say like, um, you know, people that be like, oh, let me watch a movie because, you know, I'm sad and I got like— these people hide from the problems. But at the same time, it's like you don't want to focus on the problem. You want to have like— you want to be happy, you want to have fun. That's why I think people, you know, watch a movie whenever they're sad, or go on YouTube and watch a thousand videos, or listen to music, because you don't want to focus on problems. Like, you want to have a good life just having fun. And, you know, like, yes, we go to those, to those things, like those instant gratification activities, to forget. It's a bad thing, but at the same time, it's like is good in the short term but not in the long term. That's all I can say. But one of the best books I've read so far, okay, Deep Work by Cal Newport. He said that people that live a focused life where they do things like deep work and be in a flow state— or I didn't— he didn't say it like this, but it's like they live a better life, okay? Because there was like a story in this book where a girl, like, I think she got like cancer or something, and she, she instead of focusing on like the disease or anything like the sicknesses, she instead focused on like going out and doing those things with family and, you know, having fun. I don't know, like going outside or something. She focused on those things. And life was way better. That's what she said. Like, sometimes even people, like, they start— they, they stop focusing on, like, let's say, the, the disease and the despair, literally. Because when you overthink stuff, bro, like, it literally impacts you on a physical and a mental level. Because I told y'all in many videos, okay, your gut has neurons. So if you just, like, if you stress out about something because overthinking then your gut, like, your gut's gonna be affected by this. And your gut, like, has so many, like, sort of, like, functions and everything because, you know, it's related to your brain. And people say it's like your second brain. So deeply think about it. Like, stop focusing on the problems. Like, stop telling people, like, especially people that worry too much, okay? These people, like, they do this for your good, but bro, like, it can ruin your life, to be honest. Like, if me, for example, I listen to these people, I will feel like my life will be way different and not in a good sense. I mean, probably, except if, like, I don't know, like, something happens. But stop telling people that, you know, be worried too much, because a lot of people, like, for example, they get, they get like, um, problems in their life, and then, you know, they see like something bad happen about that problem, and now they're overthinking and don't want this to happen again. So they really just— if, if it happens to you, then they're gonna put so much stress on you and so much like negative energy in terms of— not in terms of like, you know, insulting you, just because they want to help you, but they don't want to see that thing again. It's like they don't want— they don't— there's— they have too much fear about that thing. So they're not really talking with like rationally or something. They're talking like with only emotions, 100% emotions. That's what a lot of people do. They just talk with fear, the emotional fear. So think about it. Stop. If you live a focused life where you just do like like what you love, like, and focus life. A lot of people will be like, oh yeah, and then let me watch 4 hours of TV per day or 8 hours. Okay, fine, but what's the return on investment? Are you gonna be more happy? No, it's actually gonna make it worse. It's like thinking you're gonna, thinking you buying a different, like, a million different products is going to make you happy. No, you're actually going to make it worse because you're going to need more responsibility. You're going to need more, you know, like you, you're, you're going to just like have too much responsibility. Now, bro, just focus on having fun, to be honest. Like, you know, do a business but have fun and don't sacrifice like the, the things that literally make you like I don't know, happy and fun. Like, stop focusing on the little problems. That's all I gotta say, okay?
