Why You Settle For Less

Samir Gardner argues you settle for less because of mental programming from your environment, not genetics. He credits YouTube mentors like Hamza and Jordan Green for reshaping his limiting beliefs, and points to MrBeast as proof that ordinary people can achieve massive impact through experimentation and refusing to settle.

What's good, y'all? It's your boy Samir Gardner. Hope y'all doing good. So I'm going to make this video, and it's— it might be one of the last videos I'm gonna make on this sort of topic about like beliefs and everything. It might not be the last video, but you know, I'm gonna start making videos about this because I feel like it's easy to understand, but many people don't understand it yet. Now, this video is probably gonna be named like, why you settle for less. And the only thing I wanna say is, bro, you settle for less, but the reason you settle for less is not because you want to settle for less. It's not because of the excuse that you said that you, oh, maybe I can't because I don't got the genetics and everything. It's not because of this. It's because of the programming most of the time. It's because, it's simple, bro. It's because once you live with people that sort of, I don't want to make you like mad against your people, but people around you affect you so goddamn much, bro. That's why, that's why I love YouTube. A lot of people say negative stuff about YouTube. Yeah, you get influenced a lot by YouTube. I got influenced a lot by YouTube, but why I love YouTube is because I can have sort of a mentor and someone who can change my beliefs, my limiting beliefs. We can get rid of my addictions, my limiting beliefs, just because of him, bro. Just because of the knowledge that people— like, I'm gonna say some names right now. People that help me so much: Von Sukut, um, Spiritual Soul, um, Hamza, um, like Ice Cold GTA, Jordan Green, bro. Like, these guys help me so much just just changed my whole beliefs, bro. Like, to be honest, if I was, if I was still without YouTube— I'm not trying to like sort of promote YouTube because I think you can definitely be addict and everything, but bro, be grateful for that, bro. Because if I was still like just living with people around me, and you know, people around me, I'm gonna be honest, it's not— I don't want to insult anyone, but I feel like people don't don't evolve. They don't evolve, and mainly because they don't have the technology like I do, or like many people do in— of my age, basically. Like, people don't evolve. They don't change their beliefs. They don't change their diet. They don't change their, their way of living, their lifestyle. They, they like to stay the same. But bro, me, I've changed so much. You might see my— you might see, bro, you might see me in 20 years like a monk or something. Like, to be honest, like, bro, I changed so much, and y'all changed so much too. Like, bro, we get into self-improvement, we change so much. And now why you settle for this, bro? It's because of these limiting beliefs of people around you. And I'm not trying to— like, I hate when people say stuff like, oh yeah, cut off the people around you, and, uh, they're— because they're, they're not on the same frequency. Like, bro, Just be aware, just be conscious that these people are trying to— they're not trying to keep you down, but they're unconsciously keeping you down. Because a lot of people act, they don't— but they don't know the consequences or the effect of their acts. You know, a lot of people might say, for example, a parent might say to his kid, now you can't— you cannot be an entrepreneur, and that's too risky, you need to have money and everything. But the parent says that out of love. That's what you gotta understand, it's out of love. But the problem is the consequences and the effect on the kid. The kid might not be an entrepreneur just because of this, just because the people around him told him no, just because some people like that he believes in told him no. That's why I said I love YouTube, is because with YouTube you can be literally like find people that have a mindset that can literally propels you to the next level while other people say you cannot do that thing. But you have so many people that just try to sort of change your beliefs, bro. Like literally, like, not, not, not that they want to change your beliefs, but I feel like For example, you listen to a self-improvement YouTuber, like these YouTubers, bro, they have like a way different mindset that you never seen before. And it's, and it's probably the reason why I'm there right now. Because books, for example, bro, but just, it's like you open yourself to a new mindset and all you gotta do is be open-minded. All you gotta do is be open-minded, bro. All you gotta do is be open-minded to those things. So why you settle for less, bro? You— there's no reason, to be honest. There's no reason. You just— it's your mind. It's your— if you settle for this, because I see a lot of people, and you know, it's not people that are in self-improvement, because you know, people on self-improvement know that they're conscious that they settle for less, but at the same time, because they're conscious, they're like, I'm not gonna settle for this. But I see, bro, people that say, oh, I want to be this, like they want to be an artist, and then they say, no, I want to be a teacher. Like, bro, it's cool to be a teacher, yeah, but if you really want to be an artist and, bro, you just settle for less, like, bro, I don't want to send— I mean, yeah, I understand, my bad, but, bro, it's like you settle for less just because of the whole sort of frequency or energy around you. Or just, I mean, just a programming, to be honest. Because I'm gonna be honest, if I stayed like around the people, uh, stay just the environment, I'm not trying to blame anyone, but you know, just the environment. Because like I said in the beginning of the video, people don't evolve that much. Like, they don't really change that much. You might like, especially adults, adults don't change, bro. Adults don't change, to be honest. Adults never change, bro. Yo, my bad, I got interrupted by an adult. But look, um, you see, um, adults don't change. Like I said, adults don't change. So that's why, bro, when you go on YouTube, for example, your whole mindset gets changed and everything. But at the same time, you got to be careful because people can be just saying some things just on the top of their heads. And just with no reason, no meaning, and everything. And you know, some people just get lost in that, like they, they start believing what everyone says and everything. And I think it can be great as, as it can be bad, because bro, you learn so much from them people. Like you learn that you were wrong, and then that's how you change, bro. That's how you change, bro. My diet changed so many times, well, to be honest, my diet changed especially recently, like My diet changed so much just because I learned new stuff. I learned new stuff about science, about diet, about research. I'm like, wait, let me try that thing. Let me try that thing. And you know, people might call me crazy and everything, to be honest. But look, you, if you want to change, if you want to evolve, you gotta be able to not settle for less. You gotta be able, like, you gotta be able to see like your goal was like, one, one of my goals, bro, is to make videos where I donate a lot of people to— a lot of people, bro, a lot of money to people. Like, I donate like MrBeast style videos. That's, bro, that's my dream, literally. That's my, like, one of my biggest dream, just donate a lot of people. But bro, if I said I'mma settle for less, then I'm going to be like, okay, I can't— like, to be honest, you, you're going to see me make videos where I donate like 10K, 100K, maybe 1 million. What one day, you never know. And you know the reason why I was like MrBeast did all those, all of those things, and then I seen his past, like his past, like his past videos from like 5 years, 6 years or something. Like he was just a normal dude who just was going to college. I think he dropped out or something, and then he just started making— I mean, he was making videos. He tried, he tried new things. He tried a video where he donated money and And then, bro, it started blowing up, blowing up, blowing up. Like, bro, he was just a normal dude making videos in his mom's house and everything, in his parents' house. Like, he was a normal dude like everyone. Just look at his past videos. He was just making some, like, video games, um, how do you call it, like, video games, uh, voiceover and everything. Like, bro, same for Sneako, I think. I'm not sure. I think, yeah. But you know, you settle for less. But these people are example, like they're just normal people. Like if when they even grew up with millions of dollars or, you know, genetics and everything, bro, they just did it. They just did it. You, you can too. You can't— you just can't settle for less. That's it, bro. That's all I want to say. If you settle for this, it's your mind. It's not because it's real. You settle for this because it is a symptom of your own sort of subconscious thinking, and not because you think, oh no, I really can't do it because, you know, you got some really good excuses. But to be honest, they're just really good excuses to you. They're not good excuse— good excuses to someone who has already done it, you know. So bro, that's it for the video. Hope y'all liked it. Comment, share, subscribe, and like. I'm out. Peace.
