EP 70: Why Some Dogs Love To Fight (Dog Trainer Royal Rumble)
7 Nov 2025 · 41 min
Dog trainers discuss dogs that actively seek conflict, using examples like Blue the Malinois and Stark to show how suppressing the fighting drive leads to aggression and resource guarding. They argue for structured, controlled outlets instead of counter-conditioning alone, then joke about which famous trainers would win in a fight.
Chapters
Right. We're podcasting, mate.
Okay.
How's your week gone this week? Pretty good.
Slightly smaller camp than last week. Last week was ultra intense.
It was crazy, wasn't it?
Actually you and you chipped in, you came and got a massive win for us.
We come in and we got stuck into. What was his name? Good boy Blue.
Yeah.
I love that dog. I thought he was awesome.
I know. You'd have had it, wouldn't you?
Yeah, he had a lot of jip. You don't see many dogs come through with that.
And at that point wasn't directed in the right direction.
No. Throwing his big self around, wasn't he, mate?
I've spoken to him and he's done all right. And he's going to come back quite soon. Yeah, be good to see.
I saw a message from him today saying he's still a bit iffy with bikes or joggers, but.
Yeah, that's right.
Loads better around dogs and stuff. But that wasn't an easy job at all, was it? It was a. A lot of dog that was not for the faint hearted, that boy. That was about as bad as they get, I think.
Yeah.
In terms of intensity.
Yeah. Probably the. The saving grace was he was all right with people. So you can evolve fairly easy. But yeah, to bring about the special moves. Didn't you? Yeah, like Street Fighter 2 there.
Yeah. I didn't like whoop his ass. I know.
Yeah.
Just to get the old. Lots of play done.
Wasn't there a bit of.
Yeah, using his head a little bit.
It was good. It's good to see you go. We had a decent win on the remote program.
Yeah.
Go on, lady. Joined a group call with no questions to just.
It's going great. Sing your praises.
Go on then. Talk us through it. Give us the lady. I think in France with the bull breed.
Yep.
Quite spicy, a little bit nervy. Only kind of remaining thing now is like. And this is one of the things you did say so before. Dog used to get super spooked with kite. So a little bit dog reactive, especially with smaller ones. And she's gotten really far with that to the point where she's got her off lead all that kind of stuff. Brilliant. But she said that the other day she saw a kite.
Bird or kite?
No, like a kite. Like a physical kite. You know. There was a book written once, Segue and the guy wrote about the kites on London Bridge. And people used to think it was the physical flying kites with the string and whatever, but actually it was the red Kites picking rubbish out of the. Anyway, segue.
There you go.
So now this dog saw like a human flying a kite. Got super spooked. She said, like, normally she just dragged her home, but she could keep her in the moment. Wasn't like overly comfortable, but dealt with it fine. And then she said she was fine when she got home. Normally she'd be having a shaky meltdown at home as well. So that's good.
Oh, well, that'd be good.
Yeah. No, well, Mel done to her mostly. Even in the moment. Yeah. Yeah. Nice dog too, with lovely pictures.
Big fan of color.
Is it bull breed? Bit of mixture, white and dark. Lovely. Two tone. Nice. Not like Friesian, but still nice.
Oh, nice. Well, that's. That's good to hear.
The biggest group boot camp we've ever had. All went to the pub at the end of the week.
Yeah, it was good. We'll ping it up here.
Ping.
There was some footage evidence there.
And the big fella that you. The big fella up, he was in there.
There he is right on screen right now.
People near treading on him, dogs almost treading on him. He did incredibly well. We cut his slightly short because he started to get a little bit like a bit like me in social situations.
Yeah.
So we cut that slightly short, but not by much. Maybe like 5, 10 minutes less than anyone else, but. And everyone else was amazed that their own dogs would. We were in that setting. So that was really nice. People struggle with the indoor element, obviously, especially when they're almost on top of each other. Yeah, obviously.
The big pile up.
Yeah. It wouldn't be the. The first place you tried to re. Socialize your dog anyway. But by the end of the week, five days in, you just fall asleep, don't they? Yeah, Just chill. Yeah. Sixteen dudes in there.
A bit of brisket knocking about, but brisket.
Yeah. Smooth the way.
Look after us. Video. Today's sponsors, Hickory's Barbecue and Grill.
Any like black cards or whatever?
Yeah. Send them your way. Our way. Not your way. You don't need them our way.
Yeah, true.
And I think Blue the Malinois could lead us onto a. A decent topic we could talk about today.
All right.
Which will lead us on to what we really want to talk about today. But first we must at least pretend like we're going to talk about dog training.
You mean you're going to.
Why? Some dogs like Conflict and Blue did was definitely one of those dogs.
Yeah.
And we must not forget that some dogs look and seek conflict.
Yeah.
And what I did with Him a lot last week was give him that outlet for conflict through like fighting play.
Yes.
Where we were like in a contest, a legitimate, difficult contest for that toy.
Yeah.
And then after you kind of.
You were fighting.
Yeah, yeah.
Scrapping.
Yeah. It was close to like. Yeah. As fighting as we could get.
Yeah.
Without an actual but like controlled sparring via play.
Yeah. And to a lesser degree, Magnus was the same. Yeah. Maybe not to a lesser degree in terms of his wanting to do it. He was just a bit. A bit further to this side of the path first, so it's a bit easier. But yeah, scrappers.
Yeah.
Loving it.
And when we don't give them that opportunity to express that side of themselves, it usually is to play displaced into other things. Right.
Yeah.
Like reacting towards other dogs and maybe even like towards the handler and.
Yeah.
Redirection and stuff. And. And yeah, yeah. So there's a big emphasis on that and what I've been talking about a lot lately and calls and I'll do a YouTube video on it. But Pat talked about it on his guest spot on the old podcast or. Or to a degree talked about it or alluded to it very least. Yeah. Blue super cool dog. Everything one might. One a particular person might want in a dog. But if you don't give him that. And this is why talking about like fetch isn't enough. And like just sometimes tug is enough for certain dogs. But then other times, like, yeah, case in point would be stark. Obviously we'd only done. We've only done like one or two bite work sessions since coming back from Australia. I might mention this already, but you just. He just like has a shift in his personality when he doesn't have that.
Yeah, I can empathize though.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So, you know, for all intents and purposes, a very good boy in and around the home and somewhat the poster boy of a well trained dog in many instances sometimes can around a bit. But.
Yeah, but his.
Yeah, but temperamentally, yeah, very, very, very good.
His around is funny.
Yeah.
And it's nice and it's nice to
be around, but not dickory when that, when that was restrict, like his opportunity to go and express that side of him was restricted. You could see in plain sight like how these certain behaviors creep in with dogs. He could get a bit barky around the house and then he was like challenging of may a little bit more and he is like switching off being a pest around the other dogs. Like you on the morning walk, he'd be like, he'd run that way 100 meters. And then he'd just turn around and then run straight at like Darla or Ranger to like try and antagonize them. And like is literally looking for that conflict. And so you could run him all day. You could pay fetch with him all day.
Yep.
But him not having that rough and tumble fight with Sigh or Brad or whatever a couple of times a week has really had a toll. Nothing that like can't be fixed up with him. But then I could also imagine, like trying to take a hammer to all those behaviors isn't going to fix anything either.
Yeah. And I mean on a very different scale. Remember Bumble hurt his leg and he spent three days at home.
Yeah.
He started researching the shit out of everything. He was just trying to scrap.
Yeah.
At home with anyone who would scrap because you want to fight me for this lead, I'll fight with this lead. You want to fight me for the laundry basket? I'll fight you for the laundry basket.
Yeah. You really want to do the laundry and just see it like starting to pop up.
Yeah.
And you're like, yeah, yeah. This is why I don't buy into like, oh, they don't want to do it.
Yeah.
Oh, they're anxious that you're going to take the TV remote. They're really not like, they don't want to resource guard. And I'm like, oh, Zumble does. And you can tell that by like when you give him other outlets and it dissipates.
Yeah.
Well, there's case in point that, yeah. You know, perhaps it is conflict you seek in. And I think if you misinterpret that and you don't appreciate that for what it is, you're never going to treat and solve the behavior.
No. Yeah.
Because you're going to constantly kind of be working around it and thinking, oh, I need to counter condition everything.
But that's the thing, isn't it? And I think people are missouled that like every. All forms of reactivity are fear. So much of it. Are you fearful? There's a couple on the boot camp and they were said, oh, every single other trainer has said he scared a dog. He's just like bouncing to us like being scared of dogs. Not this dog, certainly. And they were like, well, that's what he does with them all. So I'm like, okay, yeah, interesting worry. There's no worrying.
But it's just funny that that is the case. But then there's also, there's just that conflict itch that needs to be scratched. And by all means I'm not saying, oh, therefore that is an excuse to then bash the dog in for behaving like that. Which I know some people listening to this will think that's what we're alluding to.
No, yeah.
I'm saying actually no. Give a dog, give the dog the outlet for that.
Exactly. Yeah. If anything, bashing it could land you in some serious bother anyway.
Oh, for sure. Create more conflict. Yeah, yeah, you put. Yeah, exactly right. Poke a bear and then, then they're coming up the leash and so on and so forth. And then God forbid they find a win there.
Yeah.
You enter the real fight and they win that. They're like, okay, I'll just do this every time. Yeah. And so I think like pacifying it, working around it, trying to manage like even management, which is good practice and what we buy into is still a form of suppression to a degree. Right. Not allowing the expression of something. And even like if you want to go down that model purely through management, you still need to give equal and opposite outlets for that behavior that once was there. And doing that through a controlled fight, through play and you know, go a really long way.
It's not a walk around the block on a four foot lead.
No, most certainly not.
Worst thing, I know it means to an end. Maybe it means to an end of getting somewhere, but yeah, I bet you can't remember last time you lead walk showed up.
Nah, nah.
You walking a dog on a lead. But it wasn't a lead and it wasn't your dog.
I took Stark to get actually yesterday. It was yesterday. I took Stark to a cafe just to. I went and got a. An egg sangi egg sandwich.
Good.
And I was just like. He was just like whopping around in the kitchen. I was like, oh, you want to come with me? So he did and he walked there and he met a nice lady in the cafe. All over. He's all right to be fair because he's got a heels because of sport. But yeah, otherwise, yeah, Ranger D's got it. Kobe doesn't have it. Like walking him's a nightmare.
He's a big lump.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. He's super strong. He don't give a around it like anything around like his neck or anything. I just pull through it all day. So I'm not gonna get into that conversation. But you just be off lead and come back. But yeah, I don't see the point in. It's just, there's just no point. Like it is like uncomprehensible to me that I would ever, like, say, oh, should I walk the dog around the block? I just.
Yeah, it makes no sense. Oh, yeah.
Unless they were, like, injured or something. But even then, I would pick somewhere better than just concrete. Yeah, but culturally, it's been ingrained. Right.
Yeah. Strange.
So play first off, lead second. Oh, I don't know whether that's first and second. Well, it's their first and second, but maybe. Yeah, maybe they're more like next to each other and supplementary to each other than a priority over one or the other.
Go with both.
Good old punishment marker to say, cut it off, knock it off, and then you're good. You have a pretty good dog. That's been our online course. Well done. You've completed it and you've.
Congratulations.
All right, so let's talk about what we really want to talk about. We've paid our dues and talked about some dog training.
Yeah, that's enough, right?
That's plenty. That was a good six minutes.
Yeah.
Here you go. Which brings us on to our next bit. We're going to go through a list of dog trainers that's been sent to us, and we're going to decide which ones we'd be in a fight or not.
Obviously, we're going to say all of them.
Yeah. Well, yeah. You want to finish this video now? The answer is all of them.
Probably all of them, but there'll be some.
It. Yeah. We got to justify it. We got to justify it.
Is there anybody we like on there?
Yeah, lots of them. So, yeah, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know.
All right, fair enough. Fair enough, then.
So, yeah, I put this on my Instagram story, and these are the names that come up. I didn't give any context, though, so just, like, named some dog trainers.
All right.
I'm not saying we want to fight them.
No caveat.
We. Not. We definitely don't want to. And there's a lot of people on this that we have a very high amount of respect for.
Huge amount.
But at the same time, I am
kind of one of those dogs that likes to be frustrated.
Yeah, there you go. This. This is what I mean.
I do need them Help.
All right, you ready?
Yeah.
First one, nice, easy one, which is Zach George, and obviously he's gonna get smoked. Like, that's the easiest one on the list. Like, that's not even. I don't even. Too far.
Be horrible
again. I just want to caveat this. This isn't a threat of violence to anyone. No. A lot of these people we Like Zach, we don't like you. We'll say that.
Yeah.
And we're not gonna come after you or any. This isn't. There's no death threats here or anything like that. But we're just saying. We're just saying, if it come to it, if we would win.
Yeah.
And this is us as individuals, too, as a team. You're fucked.
Oh, yeah. Do, like, pack fights. Yeah. It's like, I would never lay a
finger on you, but we might get some. But they can fight us if they want, and we back ourselves.
Turns out we're winning anyway, so. Anyways, filling all these play over.
Right. Okay, well, first one. Yeah, obviously I'm not gonna answer that. I'm not gonna dignify that question with an answer. Right. Next one's Dog Daddy. He's getting filled in too, though, isn't he?
Yeah, I'm trying to think.
Unless. Yeah, he is Brazilian, though, so he could do Jiu Jitsu.
What was the other one? Capabara or something.
Michael. Alice. He must do that.
Capabara is a rodent, isn't it?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I don't. Unless he's got his. Like, he's a spindly fellow.
Yeah.
He starts spinning me on a lead, I'll be okay.
Yeah, you could just lie on most of these and you'd be fine. I think.
Suffocation.
Yeah. Yeah. You could just snorlax. It's a jujitsu special mood.
The smother.
Yeah, nice. Just time them out. So, yeah, Dog Daddy's getting filled in, too.
Yeah.
South End dog training.
It's like all of them at once. Well, I think if I'm in a tight alley, I'm okay.
Yeah, fine.
As long as no one can get behind me.
He might carry a knife, though, because he's from London, so. Yeah, that's what you've got to consider.
Yeah. But Ricky Gervais is recommending people carry stab vests, so I've got my stubborn.
All right, so if we've got. So bare hands, we've got him. If he's got a knife. Depends on if we've got stuff.
I've usually got one. I've got one over there.
Yeah, you carry a blade, too? To be fair,
only in private areas.
Yeah. Not in my pants. Yeah, I know.
But in, like, private grounds.
So that's another one to us. Yeah.
Yeah. Come on, boys.
This is our most requested podcast, by the way. By us.
It depends. It depends who's on the list, though. But there will be some that I think I don't know.
But yeah, this one I got a personal vendetta against and it's my mate Josh from K9 Optima. Gives me a lot of on. Comes at me left, right and center. He's actually very well built.
He is.
So, yes, I would win, obviously, but it wouldn't be as easy as. Yeah. By less points. Yeah. In fact, it would. Might go to points. Yeah, it might go to points with Josh, but I'm still gonna. If you come across this chopos, Josh, if someone clips it, you're short, too. You're short. You're only five foot eight. I'm five foot eleven and a half. And so.
Yeah. You know, and he's six foot easy.
Yeah.
Yeah, okay. He might have us in verbal combat, though. He's pretty funny.
He might get us so annoyed through his shit talkery, his shit housery. We might make errors. We might make errors. We might get carded. Yeah. Gonna gouge his eyes and get DQ'd. So maybe, maybe Josh from you might get us DQ'd for shit talking too much.
Depends how long we've gotta be in our corners of the ring.
Yeah, okay.
If it's a street fight, we're okay. Because he ain't getting a chance to talk.
Yeah, fine. Yeah, you just wear earplugs. You just wear earplugs and just fight him deaf.
Yeah, fair enough. It's a little bit like X Men, isn't it? We all look at the little special powers.
Yes.
So with him, we've just gotta make sure he can't shriek. He can. He's like Magneto, but not Magneto. I don't know. Oh,
Yeah, Magneto. Yeah. He just put the helmet on the Juggernaut so you can't get in your head. Oh, my Christ. This is nuts. I'm crying, but not in pain. The next one needs some deliberation.
All right, nice. Good one.
Which is Pat Stewart. Oh, so former military spec guy. Yeah. I think Prime Pratt Stewart's gonna be a context contest.
Yeah.
If. If you even make it to the fight without him killing you in your sleep without even knowing. Yeah. You can win that fight without you knowing.
Yeah, that's true.
He could just abseil through your windows at night time, night vision goggles on, you're gone.
Yeah. Jugular gone.
Yeah. Or you're just getting sniped or some. I don't know what he does or did. But prime patch like you patch to it. To this day, it'd be like fighting a uncooked spaghetti. I think you just Snap. You know, the man looks. You know. And he'll say this himself, which he has done.
Brittle.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. He says his knees and shoulders are all fucked.
So brilliant. We'll just dismember him.
Then he's like, yeah. Past his prime, so.
Fair enough.
I think you'd fight clean.
Yeah.
Fight clean.
No. I don't know.
You don't know?
Special Forces dudes can't fight clean. Surely he's like, to the death, isn't it?
Yeah.
He's putting his thumbs in your eyes
and he's waterboarding you, too.
Yeah.
Getting some intel out of you before you. Yeah.
If you don't know anything, you're gonna start spilling something.
Yeah, that's not what I want. It. That's not what I want. No, it's not what I want. Because I think he's got multiple avenues to win that fight.
Yeah. Mystic levels and. Yeah.
You're waiting around for the fight and you're just not there. And he just gets you, like, six months later. Yeah. You just tied up.
Are you walking down the tunnel to the ring and you don't even make it?
You just. Yeah. Goners, Right.
Yeah, that could be true.
Next one's Big Glenn Cook, who will definitely fight dirty. Getting your eyes got. He bites.
He burns. We know he bites. I think he bites. I think he bit me once. I'm pretty sure he bit me.
Another Prime Glenn Cook with the goatee. I think he'd bash her. He was on the doors and stuff.
He was. Yeah, yeah. He's got a bit also.
What is it he does? You have to. I think it's. It could be Krav Maga, which I'm not buying, but. He definitely does karate in the basement. Defo karate. You must have one of those, like, punchy guys. He just fills that in every.
Yeah.
Not a fight I want.
No, of course not. Good bloke.
Yeah.
But you get like a. Like, there's a few things he says and you think he could be a date.
He's got a switch.
He could be a danger.
He's got a switch. I think he glazes over. Yeah. I think he sees red. And once he goes, he goes.
Sorry. Black Toad in the major bull.
Yeah, I think he'll fatigue easy, though. I think he'll fatigue quickly. So I think if you stall for a little bit.
Yeah.
I can just see him, like, front kicking you in the chest and just winding your first. Like. Just like he's kicking the door down.
Like the Sparta scene.
This is Sparta.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Maybe.
Yeah. We created. We're still six from six. But. Yeah.
Yeah. It just would be harder.
Yeah. It's getting more difficult.
Is there like an end of level boss?
Maybe? So, yeah. Glenn bites. So it depends. Or if it's a sanctioned bout. It really does depend, doesn't it?
Yeah. We talking? Yeah.
Yeah. I'd just be. If it was sanctioned. I'm just dancing out of the ring until he gases a bit. And I'm just jabbing out and jabbing out. But if it's a street fight, I think you're doomed. I think you get in your fucking head. I think you might get to be getting curb stomped.
Yeah.
In all honesty, I'm gonna, you know. You know.
Oh, fuck.
That's funny. Michael is. He obviously must do capoeira, he looks like.
Yeah.
I'm gonna let him beat me up out of respect.
I get that. And it also, if you actually beat. It would be beaten up a puppy, wouldn't it?
Yeah. Be awful. I mean, I regret that he's even on this list in the first place.
Yeah. Come on. Whoever put. I suppose he was an ambitious.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. So. But yeah, that's one I would like for Mike. Yeah, I just. I'll just tap the floor. Be like, I don't want this.
No, fair enough.
I don't want this. You can go to the next round. You fight the next guy. Whatever. Ivan. Spindly fellow again. This looks snappable. But you don't know what he can do.
No, he's.
He might be a black belt in something.
Yeah, he knows things.
It depends. What. There's something.
I like to think he, like, knows really weird pressure points. No, like, he does. Like that sudden. He just. Frozen. I'm not dead, but I wish I was. Yeah. Hell, yeah. He knows it. Yeah. Who's that guy? Like the old.
Like on Kung Fu Panda when they
do this toehold or something.
Put it up here, Pops. I don't know.
The old Star Trek where there's that guy who used to do the thing and it.
Yeah, there's a bit of Darth Vader there, too, in it. Like the Force chokehold. How's he doing?
Oh, yeah.
Or he'll just, like, get you on your podcast. Like, get you. Invite you to a podcast and publicly execute you. From left to field, really slowly dismantle you. Dog training nonsense. Fair. Right, next one's a big cow. We don't know how tall, though. Back to Ivan. I think Ivan without nunchucks, you're fine. But Ivan with nunchucks you're in trouble because he can wield nunchucks, can't he? Like that scene off Indiana Jones.
All right, just throw one. Get him. That's funny.
That next one is big. Justo Rigo. Big. Justin Rigging. He's a big boy, isn't he? Big, veiny bastard. Yeah, Big, triumphant veiny bastard.
He's big.
Canine police guy. Yeah, you know, Dunno. Do.
Yeah, no, you don't. You never know.
It depends. So, yeah, he's big.
Yeah.
Depends on height. He could be five.
Five.
He could be six. Three. If anyone could tell us, Justin, if you ever see this.
Yeah.
That one's height dependent. Because he is a big lump. Doesn't mean he can fight, though.
No.
Doesn't mean you can fight just because you're big, but you just. He's just harder to kill, like harder to fight, I guess. I don't know.
At least more difficult to kidnap. Because you.
Yeah, just. Yeah, just a big lump. He looks dense, doesn't he? Looks like dense. He's got juggernaut vibes.
Yeah. Like, if he runs at you, you've got problems. Unless you've got experience.
If he's a chess piece, he'd be the rook, I think. Straight line. Quite like. Same shape.
They go in. Straight lines. They go in an L shape, don't they?
No, that's a night. You.
Oh, yeah.
The rook is the castle.
Yeah, the castle. You're right. Yeah, sorry, my bad.
Right, next one, Bob K Brow, black belt. And karate, I believe.
Yeah, karate. I quite like the guy.
Yeah, I like the guy.
I feel like it's like. I don't know.
This podcast is going to get us filled in, isn't it?
Yeah, it's just going to fly over
and be like, what you say, lads?
Sorry, sorry. We just make it a narrow passage. Sorry. Yeah, just go back to back. Sorry, Bob. Sorry, Bob. I didn't mean Bob. Big fan, Bob.
Big fan.
I do like Bob.
No, I like Bob too.
He was my first people I was watching when I was a same. A weird whipper snapper.
I cried when he posted about Goofy. I cried for days. Yeah, like days. Oh, God. Yeah. So, yeah, Bob, I'm taking him that. Yeah, I got him. He's quite. He's quite. He's in shape too.
Yeah, he is, yeah. Should be shape. Everyone should be in shape.
He's a veteran. And then one more. If you want to do a part two, let us know in the comments. I don't know why the you would. This is because people have no value.
Want us to get filled in? Yeah, we need to get more people on board. They got to the end of that list, they might actually make it. Did you ever do the thing in the combat room where you had to be like, you were in and you just get through?
Yeah, just had to be in the middle and just get filled in for, like, a good 20 minutes.
So, like, if that was the case, how far are you getting down the list?
I'm getting past them first three, and then I think, honestly, canine optima is going to fatigue me enough where Pat's gonna just, like, choke me out or something. So, you know, not looking good. The first three, though, with these, like, they're just gonna be. Yeah, zg Dog Daddy. Yeah, South End. I just keck his traxy bottoms as a distraction and then uppercut him as he's trying to pull him up. Got it. Just hold my fist there as he turns around and knocks himself out. That's funny. That can stay in. No, he's. No.
I'm getting a cramp in the rib area.
I've got plates. Oh, no hate, man. No hate. He's. He's. Yeah, he's. He's done well. He's. Yeah. And, yeah, no hate. In fact, I'll only hate on Zach, George, and Dog Daddy out of this podcast. Everyone else, you're good.
Nice.
And then the last one's Big Larry Crone.
Crohn's. He.
Yeah.
Again, I think he'd be a back.
He was.
He was a fed, was he?
He was. What's it called? Border control or something like that?
I got him right now, haven't I?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I like him, too. I think I do. I don't know whether I do. I think he's big. I'm taller than people think, though.
Give that another plug.
I just hang around with you all day and be. People think. I'm sure the amount of people in Australia were like, oh, you're not. There's a lot of them. They were like, I thought you were. I was like, no. Yeah, Serendipitous.
Funny.
Any other notable mentions, anyone? Definitely filling you in.
2 Are we not doing? Are we talking about a couple? I'd be. I'd be terrified of jjack.
Oh, yeah, yeah. Jack's gonna smoke a role for him. Yeah, I see. Yeah. I've seen JJ with my own two eyes. Brad up climbing it like a pretzel man.
He's not playing games, is he?
No, no. I think you fight dirty as well as being like an. Not inept. What am I.
What was the word? Adept.
Adept.
Yeah.
Which is like the opposite thing. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. He's got cauliflower ears too. You want to typically avoid those guys.
Yeah.
You always, As a general rule of thumb, don't fight anyone with cauliflower ears.
Yeah.
Is he. He can't be too. Like tall.
Nah. Short, mate.
But they can get under you.
I know they can get under nothing. Does it.
Single leg, you know. Take you to the ground. Everyone's the same height lying down. Yeah, that's what she said.
So.
You know.
Yeah.
You know.
I think he's back over again.
Owen.
Our Owen.
We're bashing him. We're bashing Pablo.
Owen's taking it. Pabs ran off the other day whenever. So yeah, he's gone.
I don't.
I think he'd run away first.
I think Alicia is going to put up the biggest fight we've seen. All the staff, to be honest.
Kicked the guy in the shin early on.
She kicked me twice.
The guy kicked me with a mukb.
At least you just feel like I.
Oh. It's okay. It was only you. Oh.
Oh. Mutnut. Yeah. Good one.
It could be easy.
Simple.
Simple.
Simple answer to this one. I will fight you. I've offered you a fight several times. S. I love you. You've a very. You're good friends with me right now. But I'm more than happy to fight you. I offered you in America. I don't believe the hype. Bruv. I don't believe it. I'll fight you tonight. You're due here tonight. You texted the group 7. I'll fucking bring the gloves. Big fella.
Don't let anybody out with a mana.
He's the only one who can actually find out the an to this. And I'm backing myself.
Only one of you is allowed out of the ring.
Yeah, Fine. It'll be me. Don't go. Your boxing and that. Whatever. We can do any. Any discipline you want to. Very fit though.
That's the thing.
He's very fit. He could gas me out with. Yeah. Yeah.
If it lasts.
So maybe it won't speak too soon. Yeah. I wouldn't fight his Mrs. She's fiery. She's angry. Little thing you are. Brook.
Spicy.
Yeah, that's good. I can't believe we left him off the list. But yeah. 100% just said Br.
Oh.
What's. Brad's probably done something gimpy like Krav Magar or something, hasn't he? And thinks he's could be a dark horse. Although like Jack dispatched of him very easily. He was just kind of fl. Floundering around him. Just floundering. You know like. You know like virgin having their first time. Just like what you doing just lying
there like in between impression he didn't mess him out. Old JLo's time.
Yeah. No, yeah. Jack is the only one that might actually. Yeah. Have a chance against us. Yeah. Yeah. That's a good thing about. That was a good one. That was a good one. Yes. I. Whenever you're ready. I'm ready. We finally put it to bed after all these years. Whatever you. Whenever you came mate, I've told you bring the gloves. And you. He's got the kit apparently.
Did he ever get stuck into you back in his.
Nah.
That's a shame, isn't it?
It is a shame.
Brought it back up.
Yeah, we could.
Yeah. It says here.
Oh well maybe he has and I'm just planning. This whole time has just been one big plan. I'll give it a massive 300 people seminar and then put it on a big screen of a real like. Oh, prong. Colors are well bad. You well, you shit lid.
Imagine if he's like the inside man of the im.
Maybe owner. Oh yeah. Big. Yeah. Oh, they're using water sprays. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, that's funny. That is funny. Anyone else, mate? Nah.
It's kind of not fair to pick on the birds, is it?
No, no females, ladies, other than Alicia.
I get in trouble with that too.
You got any other recommendations, Suze? Nah, I don't think so. We've officially filled in the whole dog world. Yeah. Come on. Come on. I'd fight him and Big Will at the same time and win. In fact, that's another my secondary. Big Will. Big Will.
Athlete. Oh, okay. Yeah, yeah. Come on.
Come on. You've withered away into nothing, Will. Yeah, I just. Go on.
Wait.
Come here. Off. You just float off. Oh, that is funny. That is funny. Who else we got on that wall up there? I think we've gone through most of them. We've done Michael. We said we wouldn't fight him out of pure respect.
Yeah, yeah. Forest. That's an interesting word, isn't it? Respect.
Yeah. What do you mean?
People are scared of it these days. And yet you just literally said you respect a guy. But if you said I want my dog to respect me, people would be
like, yeah, I don't respect him because I'm scared of him.
I know.
I respect him because I have the utmost respect.
Yeah. But you also don't respect him because he fed you cookies.
True. That is true. I would hate to disappoint him. Yeah, yeah, I'd really hate to disappoint Michael. Be really upset if you come at me.
I think you might be disappointed.
I just hope he never listens.
They've gone there.
Look.
They were really clutching at straws and
really running out of content ideas here. Oh, just start again from the beginning. Next episode, how to raise a puppy. Yeah, well, everyone, there's podcasts popping up left, right and center, mate. There's no point us talking about the dog training stuff that you can listen to someone else's podcast if you want to do that.
Probably be better anyway.
They could know more. I don't know. They put more effort about discussing it.
They won't see me. Should hears that I laughter though, will they?
No, they won't. No, absolutely they will not. So this is going on YouTube again. Okay, well, YouTube is now second YouTube channel for the podcast and it'll be available inside people's ears.
Nice.
I don't really know who listens to it, whether it's dog. Quite a lot of people listen, like watched on YouTube though, didn't they? How many was it for? More than a thousand people listen to that waffle. So if we could get.
Doesn't count if there's the same person on repeat, does it? Does it? No. Nice. Good.
Oh, there you are.
That's cool.
1,000 different people then.
So it's not just their mother.
Four or five would be my mum.
Yeah.
No, she wouldn't. No, she wouldn't. No. So, yeah. Should we wrap it up there and.
Yeah. Beautiful.
Wait, whether this. Like, just brace for the storm.
Yeah.
Weather. Weather.
Good. I'm not big on Instagram. You just get messages.
Yeah. Why do you say that?
Just sag me.
We mean all of this in jest. It's all just for shits and gigs. We don't hate any of you except for Zach, George and Dog Daddy. Yeah, that's fair because you are the. They kind of serve a purpose though, don't they? They're like the. I don't know, the.
The just The.
The polarized.
I know what you're trying to say. Like philosophically, in the middle, we need them.
Like, there's no light without dark and there's no dark without light and there's no. Like, without that point of reference, like, we. Maybe in the middle wouldn't exist. I don't know how to explain it.
Treats.
Yeah, I don't know I don't know. I don't know. But yeah, you know, you need the yin and the yang and the blend. I don't know. I don't know.
Yeah, it's also easier to like, be like a figurehead. It's hard to say, like, oh, I don't like force free or whatever. Whereas it's like. No, he epitomizes because force free people are fine. Yeah, they don't get results, but they're fine.
But they're harmless. They're not gonna achieve anything. They're literally. They're just like, yeah, but they're okay. They're all right. They're nice enough people. Yeah, some great people in that community. A fractional amount, but still. Yeah, they're harmless. Some are really toxic and horrible and very harmful and nasty.
Yeah, it's true.
But once you get like, immune to that, they become harmless again.
You're not gonna do anything.
It's okay with anything or anyone. You're not even gonna train a dog. Never mind.
But you leave on the water bowl. Oh, come on. Anyway.
Yeah, that's funny. Oh, that's funny. Yeah. So a couple of links in the description, guys, I don't know what it'll be probably a webinar or something. You can apply to work with us if you want. We're about to do a podcast version of our course for those that want to listen through their ears.
Oh, cool.
So it's going to be like the TWI podcast. If you want to join the TWI virtual one to one training program, work with us to solve your problems. You can do that by clicking a link in the description. I guess if you want to join my mentorship program and make more money for yourself as a dog trainer, get out the donkey work and. And yeah, actually achieve what you signed up to do, which is help a bunch of people and free some time up that you can spend with your dogs. If you feel like you're running around with your dog in the van all day serving people aren't giving you the respect you maybe deserve as a dog trainer, then that option could be for you. So either or Kirky helps people with their dogs. I help dog trainers with their jobs and thus an easy summarization of concise
and deep at the same time.
There you are. Yeah, I'm learning my prospects. Pain points, man.
Fair enough.
You know, all in the mess and you get to come to events and we do here. So half the reason we do these podcasts is so you can get to know us a little bit better. And maybe want to meet us in real life. Maybe it does the complete opposite. I don't know.
Maybe you want to chip in and be us up.
Yeah. So we've got a seminar in November here, 22nd, 23rd, which we have sold an undisclosed amount of tickets for. So that's a guess at this point because I'm hearing numbers pop up from some tickets. At least one.
I know it's a couple of people who are coming, actually.
There you go. There's two, maybe even three. Two to three. What else is going on? We do boot camps here a couple of times a month nowadays. They're pretty fun. They're great, aren't they? They're really good. They're really good. The new center is really shifted things, hasn't it, in the right direction in terms of, like, delivery and stuff?
Shame people can't see it right now. No.
Didn't we do a. Like a video last time? She's going to do it again. There you go. This is the new training center. You get all the arcade machines in and stuff. And the. The big buck. Big room. Take them in the big room. Suzanne, go on. Take them in the big room. Don't trip. Show them the murals. Show them the shrine. We'll talk because this will be here now. Oh, really?
Yeah.
That's cool. It's called tech. Tech Mentorship Weekend 24, 25th of January. Got a couple of people coming in from Australia.
Oh, that's cool.
And America to come and visit. We're gonna do some rewards based on your mate Sean. Very excited to see you.
Ah, cool.
He's a good day.
He's a real good guy.
Adam. Lydia's hoping to come over, so that'll be good. Will is going to do a talk.
Will. All right, cool.
On sale, selling and sales. The salesman herself.
That's a good. Yeah, That's a tasty appetizer, isn't it?
Yeah, very tasty appetizer. I'm gonna get some of the guys that have had a considerable success of the program to come and do some talks on what they did to achieve that success. So I think it'll be a great event. All nice, all in all. So, yeah, if you wanna join up or whatever for next year, I don't know, give us a shout or something.
Or something.
Or something. Hashtag marketing. The thing is, I can't market it properly because of. Then when they come into the program, they see through it.
Yeah.
Because I disclose all my secrets, so I have to just, like, do it.
Even, like the small bits you tell me now. I go on, like, Instagram. I'm like, you. You trying to get me this? And then I get like a, like, opposition reflex. I'm like, whatever happens, I'm not buying anything. That person.
I'm not downloading that lead magnet.
It. Yeah, yeah, but I do. It's called I won't do it. Yeah.
Anyway, wrap it up. Hope you enjoyed that one. We're gonna go train some dogs and do some. I've got a live Q A or something at three o'. Clock.
What time you on there? Half past two.
Oh, God. Grab some food around with stock for a bit and play some Street Fighter.
Nice.
Maybe we should invite all these trainers over at some point for a big royal rumble on Street Fighter.
Yeah, okay. Yeah, I'd be terrible at that, though.
I'd rather just fight. Yeah, fair enough. Yeah, I would. Do with your fucking hands. Sweet. All right, that'll do us. Catch you next time. Bye, everyone. Sir. Buy in, buy in, buy in.
