How would I know? Making love versus I'm having sex faster, harder. We call, like, cute.
What is that?
Sometimes quickie.
Quickie.
And then porn star comes out.
You know, she lets me do what I want, whatever I want.
Oh, this is going to be fun. Oh, you're going to see stuff you've never seen.
So we have some guests. They come in on fires. A woman who has a history in marketing, a history in television, a history in all things production.
And so now I'm thinking, okay, wait a second. He's a lot younger. He found out who you are. You're, you know, whatever. And it's gonna be a great weekend. And I thought, okay, let's bring in for a great weekend. He comes over to me, and I looked him and I said, what are you doing here?
I'm not really religious, but something told me you needed me.
My friends, welcome to another date. Your wife podcast. We have. Well, for the very first time, we have guests on our show that are so close with us that we actually had them come take a nap. A nap. Some guests, they come in on fire. Some guest takes red eyes, and we have to have them sleep it off so that they get ready for the show. We need their best. We said, how about we shoot at 8? No. How about we shoot at 10? No. How about shoot at 12? No. How about 2? Okay. And here we are shooting a podcast. We have a woman who has a history in marketing, a history in television, a history in all things production. She is. Are you actually a doctor?
Yeah, I got my doctorate.
Legit doctor.
I'm not gonna cut you open financially. I can mess with you.
Okay, got it. I got it.
You're not gonna call me doctor? Come on, we can.
So do you want me to call it Dr. Forbes or you want me to call it just doctor?
Just call me Forbes.
Just Forbes. Well, I never heard anybody call you doctor. So I was like.
I saw.
And I was like, doctor. Okay. Is this why you're with her, because she's a doctor?
I'm with her because she has a great mouth. Oh, she can talk like no one.
Oh, that's.
I was like. Started out real smart.
Okay, so we're. We're going to go straight into this. Jonathan, talk to me about Joshua. Joshua. Excuse me, Josh. Jonathan takes you on that Joshua, Day two talk. How you guys. You guys met in a place in Vegas, an event.
We met in my hotel room.
Well, yeah, her. The event was her hotel room.
Yeah, well, because there's a couple of stories that. The mythical stories. Well, the truth is, I have a fitness product that I was doing and I'm in a hotel room and my videographer says, hey, do you want to meet a two time Mr. Arnold? And I said, absolutely not. I can't stand bodybuilders. In fact, I told my daughter, don't ever date a bodybuilder. They want three things working out, food in themselves. There's no room for you. And so he comes in to do a little video rather reluctantly.
You were coming as like a fitness model?
Yeah, my. We shared the same videographer. So.
Okay.
Showed up at the hotel room at the same time. We went. Another fitness girl arrived at the same time. So we knocked on the door at the same time and then we walked in and AJ answered the door.
Did you think this was a setup or do you think this was a real shoot?
Oh, I got with A.J. so I, I was.
Okay. You already knew the crew that was there.
Yeah. So I walked in and, and there she was in the living room of the hotel. And when I saw her, it was like God rays were coming down from the sky, just. And she was just spinning away and, and, and then she was so nice and so energetic and she came over, introduced herself and then she had me take my shirt off.
And I do with all my men.
I guess so, huh.
How long had you guys been in the hotel room before you had him take his shirt off?
Eight seconds. I mean, so seriously. I mean, that's one of the things I do on television. I have a fitness product. It's this little thing here, and it happens to make all your muscles fire. And I love seeing it work. So I said, come on, just take your shirt off. And he did. But here's the thing, Garrett, the truth. I didn't think anything about him. He is beautiful and handsome and a lot younger. And he walked in with a fitness girl and not really thinking, this is, oh, I'm going to make a move and my daughter's in the other room. And when we're done was nice to see.
Yeah, I think I was weighing about 2:30 at that time because I just got done winning the Arnold. So I was like a week after. So, yeah, like really puffy and. Because I start eating all my carbs. Yeah. Pull with glycogen. So, yeah.
And then I, we. I left my daughter and I went off to go see a pen and teller and I thought that was pretty much going to be it. You followed me, didn't you?
I did. You know, I, I wanted to at that time. I want to Be famous, You know, I wanted some exposure, so I hit her up on social media and started flirting with her.
And that's not why you did it. Now the world thinks that you're. Yes.
Tone was just really up.
Oh, no. Trust me, you have no idea what's really not real.
No, I'm very sarcastic, but no. I started flirting with her on social media and she started flirting back. And so we did it for like about a month.
Okay.
And then I have a house in California. And I said, well, come out. And he said, I'm going to get on my motorcycle, Mike. Oh, no. I told my daughter, no bodybuilders and absolutely no motorcycles. My cousin lost her leg when we were a kid. And he shows up and there's a photo that you should pull up where he looks like this from the ad. He takes his helmet off and he's like, oh, my God. I mean, I've never seen like the abs and the whole body all in leather.
I'm like, did he pull up with no shirt on?
No, in my mind, he had no shirt. Wait, when you see the photo, he's.
Like in slow motion. He's like.
And so now I'm thinking, okay, wait a second. He's a lot younger. He found out who you are. You're, you know, whatever. And it's going to be a great weekend. And I thought, okay, let's bring in for a great weekend. He comes over to me and I looked at him and I said, what are you doing here?
And I said, I'm not really religious, but something told me you needed me.
And that couldn't have been further from the truth. I was in a very long term relationship. I had raised a little boy who'd been murdered. I was raising two kids. I was working like a crazy woman. And I put my love life aside. I said, let me just raise two kids I don't want to find. And I made a list of what I wanted. I said, and I don't want him to be super rich because if he's really successful, he's not going to want me to keep working. And I love what I do. And then what's really funny is one of my girlfriends, because I love the concept of this list, said her husband, when she met him, she put that he wanted someone who looked like he walked off the COVID of a romance novel. I said, I'm putting that at the top. And when he walked in, I thought, oh, no. Really? And from day one when you.
Well, you got it. You know, I was. When I was Younger, I was a fashion model, and then I became a Chippendale. And then after that, I didn't really like dancing, so I got into fitness and became a world champion bodybuilder.
Did you ever see him dance?
Oh, yeah. Oh, he's good.
Like, all age, not on stage.
Did you go to courses?
Well, yeah, he went to ballet.
It was hard for me because.
Because they, like, have legit SK skills.
Well, I was a. I'm an athlete, so I always play basketball, wrestled. I won. Stan high jump. So I'm. I'm an athlete, so. But I had to look. So I went and auditioned for Chippendales, and. And he said, you need dancing, dancing lessons. So I went to backstage in Vegas, and I did ballet, I did jazz, I did hip hop. And it was hard, especially, you know, counting and all that. Ballet was the hardest. I did for a month, went back, auditioned again, and I got the job. So I became a. A lead dancer for the Chippendales.
Were you on the ads in the Vegas airport?
I stayed that long. I didn't stay that long.
How years did you do it for?
Only a few months. I just. It just wasn't for me. Yeah, you know, I. It was the same routine day in and day out. It's actually the only job I actually had that they allowed you to drink on the job.
They encourage it.
Well, after the show, you get to go to the Flirt Lounge and you get, like, free. They called the two free drinks. Yeah. So you. You get to sit there and drink and flirt with the girls and, you.
Know, get the tips.
It just wasn't me. That's just not me. I'm not a player. Which she thought I pretty much was.
Look at him. He looks like a player.
Right?
I was never a guy who slept around. I've been in too serious relationships and just not me. I'd rather hang out with my bros than chasing chicks.
And the real definitive thing was when he walked when he came to visit me in Florida. I own a television studio. And he walks in, he looks around, he says, I could run this place. And I'm like, I'm sorry, what did you say?
Yeah, by trade, I'm a 3D artist. When I was in school, I worked in video production. And so once I saw. When it saw the studio, I'm like, this is great. And this is my world. This is what I can do.
And the irony is, now we're all in the social media world. You need a videographer and photographer to follow you. It's a lot cheaper to sleep with them.
Matt, is our next move, bro. Tell me to get it all for free. That's the key here. If you need a videographer, you sleep with them and you get them. They get them every day, all day, all night.
So I had a list, too. My list was that she had to be my best friend. That was my number one thing. And she had to be funny and pretty and ambitious and successful. I didn't say anything about age because we are 17 years old. Difference.
Let's see. When I graduated high school, he was born.
There you go.
I was gonna date him back then, but it was a little weird. A little weird.
But it's funny. I'm more mature than she is. Only really knew the real Forbes fun.
Okay, so what's. As you're going down this path, what is the thing about Forbes that, like, draws you in, that has you say, not only am I in, like, I want to be in, and I want to be here.
How much she loves me and how much she cares and appreciates me.
Wow. Wow.
And she's. I feel like I'm. I'm very easygoing. And to make a relationship continue, you have to be easygoing. And I think she is the same way. And we don't nitpick at each other. We do once in a while for fun, but not to make the person feel bad, you know? So I love this when you look.
At the verbal praise, because every time I'm around you too, the times that we've been around, you're like, edifying, edifying, edifying, edifying, edifying, edifying. This is not normal behavior for women and men at all. If anything, I hear the opposite for the last 13 years, which is men do not get verbally edified by the women they're with almost ever. So they work hard, they build hard, they go hard, and the wife's not a cheerleader.
Oh, wow.
What was this? Was this edification piece for him? Was this something that. Were you that way in your previous marriage?
No. And in fact, my ex pointed that out. He said, you know, you really tell me that you appreciate me. And I thought, don't you just know it? And I didn't think to say it. The second thing that was really important in our relationship is I'm a guy. I'm out there fighting every day. And my Ex is a 6 foot 6 Notre Dame football player. He's a big guy. And I gave birth to twins. And we just raised a little boy for 12 years who got murdered. And when that happened, he fell apart. He stayed home, he took care of the kids. And I went out and I fought a good fight. And I would come home on a regular basis and go, I slayed the dragon. I did this and I did that. And he'd go, here's dinner. And I go, great. He said, here's the babies. Take a bath. And then I would say, hey, let's go to the bedroom. And he said, I can't, I have laundry. And I like lost a little respect because it was very confusing. I was this. And he was this feminine thing. Then I come home like a masculine. And he'd be in his masculine and the room would shake. Oh, my God. You know what? I never thought to come home as the woman. And I didn't even know what that meant. Well, so I kind of, I went through a training and I just kind of got. There was a very eye opening thing. And one of the crazy things about Joshua is he's intuitive about that. He is definitely a guy's guy.
And the truth is, is that I taught her how to love. And from the way I love her. And I think I changed her by showing exactly what love is about.
That is a phenomenal part of it. I also. Forbes is my, my stage name. Forbes was my last name. And Riley happens to be not only my ex's name, but my, my stage name, Forbes Riley. And Forbes Riley is, is something I built. She's powerful, she's strong, she's doesn't have all the insecurities that Francine that I was raised was full of. I have all kind of issues and I've been unpacking them for decades. I tell them on stage. I talk about lately about how I had braces for eight years and a tongue thruster and for two years of my life when I was a kid, I truck like this. Can you imagine one of your kids not being able to communicate? And it explained when I figured it out, why I'm so committed to stand up comedy. Being a broadcaster, being an actress, I just wanted to communicate. I walked in one day and he started calling me Francine. He said, you leave Forbes Riley at the door. And I'm like, I want to come home as the woman. And I will tell you what I find fascinating is how the balance of power and energy shifts. And I find it the most romantic thing ever.
I think it's good that you're like even sharing that though, because a lot of women that are working and passionate about what they do, they don't understand that they have to flip that switch and for me, like, we went through years of, like, I'd come home, we're both two dudes. And ultimately, I was like, I don't really want to do that. Like, I want to have my passion and my career and that kind of thing. But I also. I actually want to come home and be like. And go into my feminines. And I think it's important that you're saying that, because that's truly how a relationship will. Will thrive and work. If you're both coming at each other like, the dude, the guy's eventually like, I don't marry a dude. Like, you know, it's not very attractive.
Well, the hard part is, like, as you pointed out, it's not attractive to powerful women when their man is very feminine. So there's a piece of submission in this has been. I'm telling you, this is the hot seat. Because every woman who sat in this seat, all powerful women in the last two months have all had shift. You're talking about in the last three or four or five years. All of them said the same thing. Very assertive, very powerful, very direct. And then this melting in. She was the same way. We battled like, war zone because she would come home riled up in her thing, but I'd come home riled up in my thing. And I come back like, you want to. You want to fight right now? Like, because I'm. There's no piece of me that's going feminine right now at any level. So if you want to come with the heat, I got plenty of fire in the kitchen for you. And it was just back and forth and back and forth to the point I was in our marriage four or five different times because I couldn't handle it anymore. So when he. When you introduced this Josh with this idea of I want Francine, is that what it is? I want Francine. Like, had you been thinking this for a minute, like, before?
No. It's just. I don't. It's hard to explain. I just feel like my energy has changed her, and I didn't. I didn't want to change her. That's not who I. A man shouldn't have to try to change the person they love. And if you really love the person, you're going to let them be. Be themselves. Right? So I know that it's. She works so hard every single day, and she works these long hours that I wish that I had those, because time is the most important thing we have for. With each other. And I just know that it's hard for what she does. And I just more understanding. I think you have to. You just got to be understanding really, and be in comfort and let them shine and. And when they have to lean on you, you have to fight for a time. Sometimes when clubhouse was around.
She house.
Like I said, she likes to talk. So when clubhouses was around short lived, she was on that constantly.
Well, that would know. That was not fair. That was a journey for us because that particular. It was like five years into our relationship.
It wouldn't have mattered.
I don't know what you're going to.
Say, but it wouldn't matter.
Yo.
He was in a horrible motorcycle accident. He's sitting in a wheelchair. He's rather depressed. Covid HITS My two kids are stuck in the house with us. It was a strange time for all of us. And all of a sudden this app comes out where you can talk and don't have to wear makeup. I am so in. I did an entire weekend in my bathtub. I love talking. I love connecting again, this whole communication thing. And I found avenues to teach. I found new friends. He hated it. He would come home, he would just literally say, when's my time? And I'm like, I gotta talk to my friends. So that was probably the most stressful time.
Yeah.
That we've ever had. But we travel together, we live together, we work together. We're literally 24 7, which is. I don't know if I recommend that for anyone else because I don't know if it works.
That's where the best friend comes in.
Yeah.
If we didn't like each other, then you're going to have to. You're going to find ways to be apart from each other. But I love you so much. And we just get along so well that no matter what we do, we're happy. We always say, where's home? It's where.
When did you guys decide you're like soul mates? Like, you're like, hey, you're the beginning.
From the beginning.
Really?
Yeah. Well, the first. Not on the first day, of course. When I came out to LA the first time we. We got together. But then when she came to Vegas and that was when things really started. We spent more time with each other and she realized she needed me and I needed her.
So when he started calling out Francine, what was that? What was it like being in. Because your position is. I created this character which we all have. It's not who. It's not. It's who you are. For sure. I have the character. It's like a new Piece of your personality that comes out when you're starting to give access to Francine to operate in the relationship. And you're coming home and we're putting Dr. Over here and we're coming back to Francine. What was that like for you as a woman, having spent so many decades in this piece of you, and now this other piece of you from your childhood almost, is now coming up like this other version of you. What was that like for you?
So I have no real family. They're all gone. And the only people who ever call me Francine because I changed my name almost 35 years ago, is nobody. And it's funny that you would pick up on that, Garrett. Thank you. Because when he said it, I melted. I just. He literally said, I need my little girl. And he's got these big old beautiful shoulders that I find the most sexy thing in the entire world. I crawl into this body and I feel loved and more beautiful than I ever have. I've been more successful in my business in the last eight years because I love this man and he loves me. He makes me feel so beautiful. And as you age, it's really challenging. And I sometimes just think that our relationship is a role model for other people. Like, I'm so excited about that. You invited us on. I'm so excited to share this with you because I am older than him, but it's this crazy, deep love and the fact that he makes me feel like a woman again and makes me feel sexy, and it's the best thing. I mean, I don't. I don't need to do anything else. I just need to. We literally, we hang out sometimes all weekend and do nothing. And that's part of our relationship. I remember one day, he comes out crying. Let me need a tissue. He said to me, at one point, I rolled over. It was like 11 o' clock in the morning. And I said, babe, I said, come on. People get up at 5 in the mornings. That's what successful people do. They're at the gym, they're meditating, they're doing yoga, they're reading, they're writing. He's like, you know what? Go back to sleep. You're as successful as you ever need to be sleeping. And I'm like, I love you. And that's just so radical. We've written our own story, and you're, like, the first people have ever shared this.
I think it's beautiful.
I figured there was more of just what I've seen from you. Forbes, like, online. I'm like, I Want to hear the story? Right? Because people will see, oh, the motorcycle, the fitness guy, the age difference. And I'm like, I kind of have a feeling there's more of a story and a connection. So I think it's like no matter what the age difference is, it's like you guys have this soul connection and you guys are both bringing out the best in each other. You're getting to experience this new version of you that was kind of like, you know, that's like I said with me and Garrett, I'm like, I want to be feminine. I want to let this out, you know, so you're able to kind of like be this other version of you.
It's nice to be feminine again.
Well, it's nice to have this. This talk because. Because the age difference, there's always that chat in, you know, on the sideline from other people.
We don't feel it, we don't think about it, we don't talk about it. But people make a big deal about it, which is incredibly rude.
Yeah.
Yeah. I think you're ex husband called me a squatter at first.
He pretty much says, what, are you screwing your trainer? Wow. Didn't really think about it that way. No.
But you just kind of tune that noise out.
Well, you. You have to. I mean, and we're. We've been together for so long now, it's like we don't even hear it anymore.
Yeah. You don't care.
Maybe.
Okay. One of the coolest things he ever said to me, because I've been in a little couple of other relationships, looking, always looking for whatever. And I said, we were so excited when we first met. There was that honeymoon period, you know, where you can't keep your hands off each other. And I said to him, I said, well, you know, this is unfortunate because the honeymoon period's gonna end. What did you say to me?
Does it have to end? Why does it have to end?
No one ever said that. And we literally wake up every morning and I look at him and we literally re. Fall in love. And every night we re fall in love. And we make it a very conscious effort to tell him. I mean, I do. And he does the same thing to me. How special we are to each other. How much I love you. I must say, I love you 100 times every day. And it's as magical as you want it to be.
Do you know what else you do?
What?
You touch him. So I'm just telling you, in man world, you're winning in two of the most important we're going to get to the third one here in a second. This is called ttf. Tell me, Touch me, Fuck Me. Literally been teaching us for 10 years. Like, you simplify men down. And I'm watching you demonstrate two of the ones that most men never get from their wife.
Do we have to do the third one here?
No. That's why we gave you guys a room before the show. And after the show, we got some B roll cameras in there. We'll catch the clips.
Oh, this is going to be fun. Oh, you're going to see stuff.
You're going to see Magic Mike Chippendale in action. So. But this piece, like, legitimate. I'm watching it play out like, what? I'm watching you do it. I'm watching you do it right now. This, this piece was, like, interesting because these were things that did not exist for us. Like, she was not about touch. She was not about words of affirmation. These were not two things. So it was a big struggle for us constantly because she was not only in her creative phase of dominating, making babies. We have five kids. She had four children. Pregnant six times. Huge credit. I mean, she's gorgeous having all these babies. We got two toddlers right now. But this was really hard for us because these were things that I wanted as a man. And there's not one man I know that doesn't want to receive these words you're getting or the physical touch that you're. When you were in our backyard of the Mastermind. Every time I've seen you, she's always speaking truth over you, touching you. Like, dude, this is fuel. Is this not fuel?
Oh, yeah. It was funny. Her daughter actually mentioned that when we first got together. She. She was like, he's always touching you. I'm like, of course I am.
Yeah, I love her. Well, and it's back. It's back and forth. I'm talking about the direction guys or guys typically will do all this. Guys will reach over constantly. Guys are always want to touch. I'm talking the other direction that you're getting, which is her constantly touching you.
If she would only rub my neck more, I'd be so much more in love.
Get a little bit more of it. Okay, so talk about the game here. We've got maturity and wisdom on both sides. It's not like you guys are in your 20s. So you've been through life. Talk to me about what is the significance, importance of sex for you too, in relationship or sex? Sex.
He said he was gonna go there now.
I mean, he has A brand coming out called Alpha. So, like, expectations for this, bigger is better.
Well, that's the tagline.
Exactly.
It's true. I love that you're blushing.
That's really funny.
Not many people get him to blush.
So sex is sex, but love is love. So there's a big difference.
Okay, walk us through it.
And so I, like I said, I taught her how to love. I taught her how to make love. So, yeah, do we have sex? Yeah. She's so much fun, but making love to her is so much more enjoyable than, and meaningful than just having sex.
What's the difference? Walk me down. The difference from your perspective. What's the difference between, like, how would. How would I know? Making love versus I'm having sex?
Faster, harder.
Get the job done.
This is going out everywhere.
We're getting harder. We got action happening. We've got broken, broken headboard.
Sometimes quickie, quickie. And then porn star comes out.
There you go. Quickie, porn star.
Okay, Chippendale comes out and.
And then Magic Mike's in the building.
You know, she lets me do what I want, whatever I want.
Oh, how popular do we want to be right now? Totally push this envelope.
You guys are winning.
But I will tell you, that's funny that you said that, because jokingly, even in verbiage, you'll see something about, you know, you want to have sex, and he'll say, no, I want to make love. And I can remember a time when we'd first met that I think I'd forgotten what that was. In fact, I didn't even like the word you make love. What does that mean, to make love? He is the epitome of what that is, of the way he holds me, the way he looks at me, and the way he's committed to that word that we are going to make love. We're going to be this. Oh, it's magical. That's all I can say.
What's it feel like? What's the difference for you, like, as a woman, if you're making love to a man versus you're having sex? Like, what's the feeling for you?
You know, it is this. It's like a water. It's like you jumped into the water. And you know how water surrounds you everywhere and just holds you and there's nothing and you don't know where you start and it ends. That is what we have experienced. And it's the most passionate, amazing experience that I. First of all, I just look forward to crawling into his body. We touch a lot. And it's and then I will. And I'm going to get really raw. I've seen a lot of men in my life. I'm a fitness trainer. I, you know, I've seen a lot of naked bodies. Whether you go to the gym, you see in saunas, I've never ever, present company included. I've not seen your body naked, but I've seen people at the beach. I've never seen anyone. When he took off his clothes, I was like, oh, my God, the statue of David has nothing on you. This is an award winning body. And it's some. I was a massage therapist and I'm. And I'm just going, I've never seen anybody who looks like him. And there's not a moment whenever he takes off his clothes. And I'm just going, and I love it. I take.
Does she make that noise when you walk by? Like, does it come out of her mouth?
Like, yeah, I'm a totally warm.
She started to get turned up just like getting. She's warmed up just by walking by.
Oh, you know it.
I got that for, you know, it's.
Funny, the walk by warmup.
No.
Garrett literally just got into bodybuilding like two years ago. He was like a surfer and he's always had like a good body. And I was like, oh, I don't care about muscles. Like, whatever. I've been into like lifting weights for the last like five years. So he decides to do a fitness competition. And like, I'm watching his body change and then like he does his first show and I was like, huh. Turns out I do like muscles. Turns out you should keep those.
Turns out it activates a very briny style. Woman with a body this big, I.
Just feel like I had like an appreciation. I was like, good job. Like, at your age, you decide to go to fitness competitions. But what I loved about it too was like, how he carried himself. It was like, the muscles are great, but it's like when they walk into a room and you're like, the muscles are great. It's like literally how you carry yourself well.
That's why resistance training is probably the healthiest thing you can do.
Yeah.
So here's, here's a cruel irony of the universe. I'm in the National Fitness hall of fame. I've sold $2.5 billion worth of health and wellness products. I have never had a body. I, in fact, in my, in my heyday, I used to wear jackets because my mom, you know, we just were kind of a little fluffy and I was okay with that. I Was always like, skinny, fat. Like, I could cover it up and look just fine, and nobody thought about it. But I also had some trauma in my history, so I didn't even want to wear a bikini. Not interesting to me at all. Last year, the universe said, I got something for you. And I'm like, what now? This is the crazy part about you. You like me no matter what. Didn't you?
Of course, that's part.
Who says that? Because at some point, I was getting a little fluffy too. I'd sit down for five years during COVID I was working all the time. He'd go to the gym, he'd come back, and I thought, the more he goes, the fitter I'm getting. That was a lot.
Openness, osmosis.
Right. Well. So we had our body fat done January of last year, and he came in at how much? Nine percent on an offseason.
Nine.
I was 33%. I was. And I jokingly said, at least I'm not 50. 50, because I was feeling not great about me. And it was the highest weight I'd been since I was pregnant in March. The universe said, I got a lesson for you. Careful what you wish for. We're in a really bad tour bus accident. We. After we were snowmobiling in Iceland. We're flying through the. Flying through the air, and the bus crashes on my side of the bus. And right after that, here's the thing that's crazy beautiful. I didn't lose my cheek, my eye, my brain, or my life. We were an hour and a half away from hospital, and it could have just been, oh, my God, we loved her. In a little thing in Facebook, she's gone. And that didn't happen. We're driving out of Iceland and the volcano explodes. So the PTSD from what just happened, this near death and a volcano. And I think. Did you even think about what you said about what he said? There's the same competition, a fitness competition in our hometown for the first time. He needs to enter it from his.
Well, yeah, because when I was doing the Arnold, you sat there and watched and like, man, I could do that. You know, she got inspired. But she saw other women up there, her age.
No and no. In fact, no. Trust me, I'm sitting in the audience. Here's what happened. They know. Here's what interesting. I've watched a lot of his competitions. This particular one, there were five medals, and one of the guys up there was not fit. And he got on stage and he got a medal. And I jokingly. His mom and I were. Cause it's in Columbus, Ohio. His mom's from Ohio. I said, you know, I could do that, too. He's not that all that fit. And I had that in the back of my head. And then Kris Krohn's whole company did a fitness competition. And I keep hearing this. I don't have any desire to do this. So he says, there's a competition in St. Peter. I'm like, good for them. He said, there's a category for women over 60. I said, good for them. And then something said, go for it. And I'm like, go for what? It's a bikini competition. I'm heavy. And it's in 99 days. I don't know why. You know, when the. And I'm sure, I know you both have experienced it. You hear it, you do it. In spite of everything that makes sense, I got on my Mastermind with hundreds of people, and I said, Guys, in 99 days, I'm going to be in a bikini fitness competition. A girlfriend lent me a bikini. It didn't fit on one of my legs. And I'm like, oh, my God, this is crazy. And I didn't get a coach. In fact, he has an online fitness training program. I filmed it. So I know what he does. He does some radically different things, but because I had a torn shoulder, I couldn't lift my arm any higher than my head. Now, most people would not be able to do that. But everything that he does is below this angle. I went to the gym. Did you train me?
I just showed you what to do.
He didn't train me at all. So, people, how about you live with a coach? I'm like, no, not coaching. I did it every day on my own. Two hours in the gym. I didn't even know there were two hours in my day. I was so committed before that moment, saying, I have no time. And Now I'm like, 5 to 7am is a time. 10 to midnight is a time I close the gym almost every night. And then the benefit that I have is I watch how he eats. And he's been methodical about his food since day one. In 99 days, I lost 13% body fat. 30 pounds. I'm going to give you guys a picture because I'd love you to see the before and after. And I put on this bikini. Two things. One, and. Because everyone thinks it's very different. Oh, you have it so easy because of him. No, no. When I said to you, do you think that I can do this?
I said, sure.
Which is like, do you know what I did every morning, Garrett? I went to the gym, going, I'll show you. Sure, I'm gonna do this. Because it was like, I don't really believe you can do it. And then you were nice enough to say why you weren't. You didn't put me down. But you said. What?
I don't remember. What did I say?
You said, you just haven't been doing it. You don't go to the gym. You say you're going to. You never. You know, I'm not doing it.
Okay.
And so I was in the mood, going, I'm doing it anyway. And my favorite moment, I go on stage, I do my thing, I walk off, and he's standing right there, and he's looking at me like the proudest parent you've ever seen of a kid who just did their first recital. And it was. I mean, what were you thinking at that moment?
I couldn't believe it because she just sat in the chair for five years. Five years. So she. She did it. You know, she didn't make any excuses. And. And like I said, she woke up every morning and. And she. She did it. She did what it took. And. And I'm very proud of her.
And I have a medal.
You did that show together, right?
Yeah, we did. Yeah. And it's funny, actually, I gotta thank Kris Krohn, because I actually retired in 2022 after I won Dexter Jackson. And then we met Chris, and Chris was there with his team, and he said, yeah, we're all doing the fitness contest. And. And he inspired me to go back. So thanks for Chris.
It's cool that you went back and you got to do it together.
It was fun together.
Yeah. We done three shows together.
We've done three shows. We just did the Arnold together.
When was the last one you did?
March.
Oh, just in March of this year?
Yeah.
Oh, nice.
So what was it like for you, having been on all kinds of stages, but you were clothed versus being on stage?
Oh, yeah.
It's funny because knowing her, she. You know, she. She's the camera hog. She loves the camera. So a lot of the fitness girls are up there. They're doing exactly what they're supposed to do. You know, they do their turn. They do their little hip thing, whatever, and she goes up and she does her own thing.
I'm doing my thing.
She wears her own shoes.
Your own posing thing.
Well, that's a funny thing, too. You guys mentioned my shoes. Well, these are kind of fun sneakers with high heels and I looked up the rules. The first show I did, I wore those kind of hooker high heels. And when I got them, because co. Well, because I wore yoga pants and flat shoes for five years, I put the little hooker shoes on and my toes stuck out. Like I had to go get drag shoes because they had to be wide enough.
Oh, wow.
And I said, I don't really like these shoes. And there's no rules that says what kind of shoes. So they. I have silver high heel sneakers. Oh, really? And I said this last year, I'm going to wear them. And I walked out there. I mean, I'm an actress. I'm a Broadway dancer. And even though I was a little fluffy my entire life, I was always put down from my weight. And I'm. Can I share what happened?
Do whatever you want.
Okay. So something happened. I'm so grateful for him coming into my life. I unpacked a trauma that I didn't even know I had. Day. I videotaped every morning what I was doing. And I thought there's some days are harder than others. And I made a commitment to share everything. Day 67, I'm sitting in the gym and I start freaking out. I had lost so much fat on my body that I carried because I was a yo yo dieter. And I figured out what yo yo meant for me. I had a sexual trauma when I was 15. I kind of knew it, but I didn't really think it was that big a deal. I would always get to this number on the scale. Soon as I got there, I'd freak out and I'd balloon back. That was my entire life. And it was really frustrating. Well, I got a contest to do. I hit that number and blasted through it. And all of a sudden, in fact, you noticed all the fat gun outward.
Yes.
Yeah.
Have this big hump on her neck.
I did. And I think I now know what it was. It was a sexual trauma. Hanging on when that left. And I am sitting in the gym and I'm having this crazy moment. I'm seeing this bridge. I'm reminded that my dad used to love flying airplanes. Wanted me to fly. Had me go out with a friend of his who was about 30 years old. I was 15. We went out to Montauk, which dead ends the airstrip. Dead ends to the beach, dead ends to the ocean. 1975, no cell phones. We get out there and we're gonna have a picnic. Turns out I was the picnic. And there's nobody out there who can help me. Nothing I can do about it. And I kind of knew that happened. We're flying back, though, and I'm sitting in the passenger seat, he's in the pilot seat, and he leans over to touch me. And as he does, the plane goes like this. And literally we're going toward this giant silver bridge that connects Fire island and Long Island. And just before we literally smashed into it, he pulls up. The trauma of that mixed with what just happened. I get off the plane, my dad says, how was your time? It was fine. And that's all I said. I didn't want him to kill me or the guy or whatever. I didn't even know what to say. I was 15. I come home, my mom says, how was your time? I'm like, it was fine. I slammed the door. That was 49 years ago. And I never thought about it since. Makes sense why I don't wear bikinis. Makes sense why I don't do certain things. Makes sense why some of my business practices against men or with men. I didn't consciously have any idea about this. And when it left the next morning, because I did a whole breakthrough thing. It's one of the things that I do in my trainings. I put on my high heel shoes and nothing else. And I walked into his office and I'm like, check this out.
Now. She's always asking me to. Photographer, photographer, photographer, nude, always.
Come in, give me some shots. How's my angle? How's my glute separation? Check this out. Where you at?
You know what? I love my body for the first time in my entire life.
Awesome.
And so something magical happened and not. And by the way, if you're watching this, it didn't happen for me. It happened so I could tell the story.
Wow.
We watched it. We watched Danielle's certainty rise through this training.
I was gonna say, for me, I feel like I found myself in my voice when I. When I got on that stage. Really, it was just crazy. I'm like. I said, I'm super introverted. I'd always wanted to do it. I'm like, oh, I can't do that. I can't do that. And I was like, you know what? One day, it was like I. It was actually my third baby. I gained 70 pounds and developed a DVT in my leg. And I was just like. In that moment, I'm like, I need to do something for me. And getting on stage is like, you already won. It doesn't matter if you get the medals, right? The. The person you become. And like you said, like, looking in the mirror, you're like, wow, wow. You know, and it's just, and it's not just you can literally like walk out naked and you're like, yeah, you're lucky, you know, like, you just feel different. And I think that's, that's why with this particular sport, I'm always like, if anybody is courageous enough to try it, I'm like, do it.
I find I talk to a lot of people in the gym and, and, and out of the gym. Women as well. And they wanted, that's one thing they want to do. They want to step on that stage and do a contest.
Yeah.
Not to win, just to say they did it. See what it goes through, what it's like.
Cuz you know, what was for women is I feel like, like how you're saying with your weight you'd get to a certain point. I think for women we have this space, this like, like roadblock where we're like, oh, that's good enough. And you never take it to the finish line. So for me, getting on that stage is like, I committed to this. So I'm going to take it to the finish line and I'm not going to stop like 10ft before the finish line. So that for me was like such a breakthrough. And I think like I said, when you make those kind of goals and you, you pass them, you surpass like these limiting beliefs and these blocks for you. You healed yourself in a way.
And you feel a lot different in the completely when you know there's a. You got an end game when you have a contest. She felt it.
Yeah. Oh, yeah.
Very different than just like, I'm doing this thing. There's a lot of. My first competition was like the. I was probably the most terrified I'd been in like 15, 20 years to go on any stage.
Yeah. And he's like a professional speaker.
I was like, it was so.
It was fun for me to see him nervous.
I was nervous as shit. I mean, so. But for me also, what was interesting is some of my friends, like, their wives are like bodybuilders. I'm like, physique competitors. And they would text me pictures of their wives, like getting ready for comps. Like in dong backed out like ass shots. And I'm like, bro, like, bro, like, whoa, what are you doing? My wife's gonna see these texts. Like, why are you sending me pictures of your wife? He's like, what are you talking about?
You're so proud.
You don't see, I didn't get it until I got into it. And now I can be sitting, like, we can be sitting here watching you compete. And I'm like, oh, wow. Yes.
Look at that.
Huge improvement, right?
Oh, shit, look at her back. Oh. Oh. Look at her ass. It's perfect.
Look at that.
Now I get it from the. Like, the art of what it is, but I never got it from that angle. It was just always like. So people think even going to competition, it's all sexual. It's like, not at all. No, it's completely different. Like, there's a place. You're like, holy shit. That was not easy. Yeah, but you just. And you can't respect it until you've done it. Did your respect for him and what he's been able to accomplish change after you went through it?
Everything?
You already held him in a high place.
No, no, no, I knew what he went through. I kind of knew from the outside. In fact, it was kind of annoying at some point because he would go to the gym for two hours. He'd come home, he'd sleep for two hours. I'm like, dude, I'm working really hard, and you're sleeping and working out. How does this work?
And she let me do it. She let me do my thing.
I did. I just. I'm just, you know, I can say it public. I just love you so much. I admire you. I am in awe of you. What you've created, your course, the way you film things, the way you make me look through his lens. I look really beautiful. I gotta tell you, I feel like I won. I feel like I won.
She actually has a little plaque that says I. I win.
Yeah. Yeah. I just feel like, you know, this is. This is the greatest thing ever. The best time of my life ever. And I would do anything for you.
I know.
Where does. Where does. Where's the God conversation fit into this for you too? Like, being connected where you are, and, like, there's so much spiritual undertone to what your relationship is that, like, defies age. It defies logic. It defies a whole bunch of things that you two would be together and that you would be this connected. Where does that fit for you guys?
Beyond this world? We always talk about being together after we die. You know, I don't need anybody else. I don't want anybody else. So she's it. And I don't see any. Anybody else. I mean, I notice girls in the gym or walking by if they're pretty or not, but. And when I was with my previous relationship, I used to flirt a lot with girls on social medias. I Wanted the attention. I don't know why. I just did. Maybe I was. She just didn't make me happy. But that has all changed ever since I've been with her and the happiest I've ever been. And if it was. If it was God, it was God. If I. I don't believe it is. I think it's. We're just meant to be. It's. You can't really explain it.
I love it.
So last night my friend said, you know, how do you explain that? You got. You got that? And I'm like, I'm sorry, excuse me. What is that?
That trophy?
Right.
Well, that's what he. That's how he said it. I'm like, it's kind of a weird thing to look at. In fact, what do you. What do you like to joke around? Every girl's.
Oh, I'm every girl's type.
And so. And I appreciate that, but I'm going to share with you when even we started going out. I remember a girlfriend of mine, I was traveling on my own for a week, and she said, how could you leave him alone? And I'm like, because what's supposed to happen? Yeah, yeah. She's like, look at him. I'm like, well, you don't know him. Yeah. I mean, when I look at him and when I talk to him, and I know that you don't see anybody else, do you?
I just said I didn't.
I know it's pretty. Well, just to make sure. And I'm just going, did I? Am I the luckiest girl on the planet? So in terms of the whole architecture of life and God and spirituality. God, I found my soul. I mean, I didn't know what the word soul meant before. I really didn't. But when you feel complete, when you're like, I just. I don't even know where I begin and you start.
The only regrets we have is not meeting each other earlier.
Oh, yeah. Do you have any kids?
Yeah, I have. I have two.
You have two kids?
But the funny thing is, is that when I left my first relationship, after eight years, I moved to St. Pete. That's where we live now.
Okay.
And then I left and I went to LA, and she lived in St. Pete. She lived in.
In LA.
And so it seems like we were in the same place, but we just didn't, you know, connect at that time. And. And the time finally came. The perfect time came, and it happened.
Well, life's about timing, you know, because you might have been two different people if you would have met at a certain time.
So I would change her.
And I would have made you more famous. And the only regret that we have is that we won't have children together. And we often talk about names of kids and what we would do with them. And you kind of look at it going, wait, but I'm young. I feel like I'm 35 years old. Why can't we like make babies? And you can't. So it's like that's the only regret I have.
How old is your daughter?
I have twins. 22.
22, boy and a girl. And how old are your children?
Mine's, my daughter's 20 and my stepson's 24.
All in the 20s.
Yeah.
How does the dynamic work with the kids? The kids involved a lot with where you guys are at. I know yours are traveling a lot. I mean, they're kind of in the age arc. My 26 year old works for me, but he does his own thing. Our 18 year old moved out. She's kind of doing her own thing.
Okay, this is an interesting dynamic when.
You know, we were. She was coming to Vegas about three times and then eventually I came to St. Pete and I never left. And she never told her kids, pretty much I'm the guy. And so they're like, is he living here? What's going on? You know, and.
If I had that one to redo, I would have redone that one.
I told your kids sooner or, well.
Okay, so let's just backtrack a little bit. So number one, when one of the things, when we met in Vegas, we were eyewitnesses Las Vegas shooting. And one of the things that I watched him do is how he, his whole behavior, his whole demeanor, he was very chill the entire time. Let me do my own thing as I was broadcasting and he was just, he was like there and support.
Well, you have to tell a story. We were in the foundation room of the mainland bay. We went, Grant, we were talking to Grant Cardone because he brought us up there. Grant was going to go go gambling. He invited us and she's like, well, let's take some pictures while we're here. That's falling down there. So we're taking pictures of, you know, Las Vegas view. All of a sudden we hear pop.
Pop, pop, pop, pop, pop.
And we start looking down because the, the. It had that country concert down there. We just see everybody start running and falling and well, that was the Las Vegas shooter, which was like 10 story stories below us. So then we all got locked in for 11 hours.
And I was absolutely falling in love with this man who was just this rock. When he, When I was. I then was doing an event in Los Angeles. We weren't living together. Sorry. In Florida, I did this mastermind and there was a hurricane about to hit the house. I didn't time it very well. Everybody in the Mastermind ended up having to be in my home for five days without electricity. And he had said that he'll come out and do the photography or the videography. And I said, great, come on out the night before. It's pretty clear the hurricane's gonna hit. He's in Vegas, I'm in Florida. Three hour time difference. And he says, text me going, I'm not coming at the same time. And this is really interesting. Your ex and you decided to post a picture on Instagram. Like they were lovey dovey. And I'm like, oh, shit, I've been played. Because I would say for the first part of this relationship, all the things that you think about him that might be true. I was kind of going, is it right? Is it there? And he never failed me. But I still had all those doubts. And people love to pour into your ears. And so I texted him, I said, well, how could you do that? And you at 3:00 in the morning, got up.
Well, I got forced to take that picture, by the way.
I later learned that.
But she wrote me back pretty angry. You know, I could, I could sense it in her text. And I'm like, okay, I'm going. And so I, I caught the last flight into Tampa right before, you know, because the hurricane and, and I was there to witness Forbes Factor live what she does to help people overcome their, their drama in their life.
And so that was pretty amazing. He got thrown into that. However, I didn't really tell my kids that he was here for real and staying in my bedroom. And then when the event was over, I'm like, do you want to stay? And the coolest, the craziest thing. And you did this. I didn't. We had a choice to make. If you want to be together, you either leave your kids or you leave your kids. Who does that?
And you were more stable than I was, Gus, living with my mom at the time in Vegas. And so I had to leave my kids to be with her. And after seeing what she does for people, heal their drama, I, I knew she, she needed me. I, I need, I wanted to support her because of what she, the impact she has on, on other people's lives, which made me Feel more worthy. Made my life. She makes my life feel. Feel worthy.
But I didn't introduce into my kids. Right. And it was really unfortunate that I didn't. And at some point, they're like, is there a guy living in your bedroom? I'm like, yeah, Josh was here. And Joshua looks really good without a shirt on. Loves to walk around without a shirt on, which is not good when you've got kids around. And I just. I totally screwed it up.
Did your dad walk around with no shirt on?
No.
Oh, mine did.
Mine always wore a T shirt.
My dad would have.
We wouldn't.
Nobody would have been inspired.
Well, mine did. So I. I walk around with no shirt on. It's no big deal.
It's Florida.
Yeah.
So. But it really wouldn't matter. Her.
Her kids, they've warmed up to you now.
Well, tell. Tell them what you told about people like, no bodybuilders.
I told my daughter that, don't do this. And she's like, mom, bodybuilder who rides a motorcycle. What part of you lied to me? And then I simply said, yes, I've lied to you a lot as a mom. Santa Claus, tooth fairy. Here's.
Bodybuilders ride bikes.
Yeah.
And plus, they have their father, you know, in their life that they look up to and love. And. And I wasn't trying there be there to replace them, but at the same time, who's this guy?
It was really sad when my. My daughter turned to me one time, said, mom, don't we just make you happy? Aren't we enough?
That's tough.
Yeah.
And I'm like, you guys. I devoted 10 years of not being with anybody so I could be mom. I didn't have to go to Thanksgiving at somebody else's house or Christmas. I was with you. But I remember very clearly, I took him to a dude ranch. We're sitting at this really romantic dude ranch with, like, eight cabins. My kids are wrestling. They go to bed. I love these little munchings so much. I waited. I was 42 when I had them. They're wildly important to me. And I was sitting there, and they go to bed, and I thought, you got to be kidding me. I'm so unhappy right now. How can I be so unhappy with exactly what I wanted? And then I looked at all the other couples, and it said, I'm not in love. And I go back to the fact that I didn't even think about taking the time to be loved. So when he talks about that, he helped me figure this out. It's the truth. I wanted it. I didn't even understand what it looked like. And now it's a very funny arrangement. So your son works for you? Yes. Your kids are toddlers? Well, I raised this daughter and her brother, but in particular my daughter who would travel with me a lot. I was a little lonely, so I always grab her out of school 50 days a year. She'd go to events, she met everybody. She started doing click funnels when she was 12 years old. She built an online business, a small business. Made her first $10,000 in a month. And I'm like, oh, that's cool. I'm speaking on Grant stage and Russell is there. This 15 year old comes up, walks right past me, right to Russell, and we have it on video. She's like, hey, Russell, I make a lot of money on your funnel, but there's some issues with your software. You need to fix it. He calls over his coo, Remember Dave Woodward? And they become friends. She becomes a junior ambassador and it's on his podcast. Podcast and even. And Russell gets on stage and shouts out me and McKenna. In the middle of his speech. He's like, I just met the most. You know, he's like, I'm Internet famous. Forbes is really famous. But her daughter, if you want, if you want to really be a successful. And he set this out, hire somebody in your kid. They know more than you do about technology. Well, fast forward, I'm sitting there, it's Covid. He's incapacitated. Clubhouse is not really a business. She comes downstairs, she's 17 years old, said, mom, what are you doing? I said, facebook, my business shut down. I'm not sure what I'm doing. She said, give me nine months, I'll make you a million dollars. I'm like, that's so cute. Little 17 year old who's got a D in English. Good for you. What are you talking about? Said, mom, I got to show you something. She said, I've been building websites and landing pages and YouTube channels for your friends like Les Brown and Joe Theisman and other famous people. I'm like, really? She opens her bank account. There's over $100,000 in there.
No.
I'm like, McKenna, where did you get this money? She says to me, mom, you're the only one who doesn't believe in me. And I said, okay. And the timing was great because we both talk about this. If Covid hadn't happened, she would have been gone. But she was forced to be here and re fall in love with her mom. And we sat in a room for three weeks. We. And she said, mom, can I share something with you? I'm like, what? She said, you think you're all that good at pitching? You're great. You've had a great life for us. You make a lot of money, but you have a system. What you do could be taught. And I said, oh, no, no, no, I don't want to teach this. Years ago, when I was in Hollywood, I had gotten a contract and they called me a couple of days later and said, we've got good news and bad news. The good news is they love you. But the bad news, they want somebody younger and less expensive. And I found her for them. I'm like, okay, you're fired. He said, no, no, no. They want you to teach her how to pitch. I said, I'm going to train my younger, cuter, sexier, less expensive competition. And I, and I, and I literally said, I'm never doing that. So when she said that, I had all these reactions and she looked at me and she said, mom, we've had a great life. If you don't do this, you won't have a legacy. Could be the smartest 17 year old I've ever met.
So McKenna learned all this stuff because she hung out with her all the time. They were pretty much best friends. She, they traveled together so that when.
I came along, oh, that threatens a relationship.
Then the dynamic of their relationship changed because of me.
Well, a little bit. But I will say that after the three weeks of talking and working and planning and she's a systems girl, she sees things like, I don't, I'm the visionary, she's the implementer. And we went on, did. My very first webinar was Sunday night. $19. I charged and I sold a thousand dollar product out of that because I've been teaching. I knew how to do that, but certainly not. I didn't know what Zoom was at the time. Pre Zoom. And I go to the accountant the next morning and I call him again. I'm like, what's the K stand for? She said, what do you mean? I said, we had zero yesterday, it's just 25K today. What is K? Said, mom, you made $25,000 last night. I'm like online in a Zoom box. I did that four times. We have a six figure business. She's 17 in nine months, we're walking across, we're getting a two comma club award. We made a million dollars on one funnel. She is the CEO of my company, Garrett. I work for McKenna.
I met McKenna.
He works for. Oh, right, you have.
I met her in my backyard.
Yeah, right.
I remember that right now, all of.
The video that we do, she, she owns the, she runs the company. We co own it. But yeah.
Does she need another job?
Well, everybody want, everybody should have a McKenna.
Yeah.
Because organized run staff and I don't know how she knows all the things because she's not going to college. She doesn't need to. She's hired college. She said, mom, I hire college grads all the time and they don't seem to know anything. Yeah, why would I go there?
You're wired that way though, right?
And then her twin brother looked at her and I don't know how the rivalry is between your kids, but he's like, well, I want in on this. I'm in college. My dad made me go to college. I'm $2,200,000 in debt. You're a millionaire. She made her first million at 18. And so he started a company. The two of them have an online business. She runs two companies. The other one's called gsd. It stands for get shit done. And they have this, they take people like me who couldn't figure out the online space and from her mission is people 40 to 80 and she makes their businesses happen. So it doesn't matter if you want $500 extra month because you at a certain age didn't think you could do it. Get your idea out there to make a millionaires.
I love it. I met her. She's, she's spicy.
She'll come around. She'll come around. It's, it's like a different timing for you guys. Like even like my little 18 year old just moved out and it's like, I'm like oh, air to breathe. But I'm like, still want to bring her back in. I, I just think with kids, like ultimately she sees you guys as being the example and the role model and seeing the love, like eventually that's going to circle back around. So I would just say for you, anybody who's watching this, who's giving you guys shit, like, just keep being you.
Who's giving us.
Yeah, like, seriously though, like at some point you have to not listen to the noise and you have to love your children, but you have to do what's, what's right for you because ultimately like the people that want to see you happy, they're going to notice that. So I think, I think you guys are a good example of what, what love can be. No matter what the age is. I can feel the connection with you guys. I can feel the rhythm and the quirkiness between you two. And I think it's a fun dynamic to watch. So, you know, thanks for, like, being on this show. I'm sure you guys haven't done a lot of couples podcasts together.
You are it.
You, right, winning. I, I. When I heard a little bit about the story, I was like, I need to. And we need to have them on the podcast. So, you know, thank you guys for, like, being here and being very, like, open and transparent. And I think you guys are amazing. And what I would say is, like, keep. Keep doing, like, what you're doing, which is like, words of validation and all that, because we struggled with that for so long. And then recently we're like, this matters. Both couple needs to feel respected and loved, and you have to work on your marriage, you know, so that's like, something you guys are doing naturally. And I would say, keep doing it. Never stop dating. That's why we started this podcast, because I was like, people get married and they forget to date. And unfortunately, that's why a lot of marriages end, because you get in this space where you're like, like, you even said with your ex, you're like, I didn't know I needed to tell you like that. You know, you forget. You get so busy with life. So don't ever forget where you're at now and keep it going. Because you know what? Tell people to off and just keep doing you.
Here's the last piece. I'll tell both you, too. I get a chance to sit behind doors and in events with thousands of men and what you two have created just vibrationally, your connection. Now I'm getting to spend this time with you and other times with you. This is what they're all trying to find.
Oh, we know.
So no matter what, from the frame of production and business and money, 11 guys in the last two weeks from Miami, in my top programs that I've sat with, one on one, two hours each, nearly every one of these men, all big money guys, would trade all of what they have built to feel this. And half of those relationships are burning to the ground. A complete chaos. What you have, it can't be purchased. And it's a function of how you both have chosen to show up for each other. Like, and I'm proud of you, like, to have you on the show and to get to experience it, because this energy is intoxicating. And this shouldn't be your last couple's podcast. In a reality. You two are just.
You need a reality show.
You're both quirky and funny and weird with each other like we are. And that shit flies and podcasts and you two could do a show together that would be probably the most fun therapeutic experience for like we do this.
I know I'm looking at you guys.
Going this way, like therapy for us.
Huh.
So thank you so much for coming on the show.
When you, you've seen a lot of men, you do a whole bro thing. Joshua looks really bro.
Yeah.
But when you talk to him, how does, how do you perceive him as in that whole manly thing? Just out of curiosity.
He's figured out the thing that most guys will never figure out. Well, he's figured out the thing most guys have never figured out. He's not. He is masculine in his power. Regardless of your influence, this is what called this deep feminine woman out of you. And most men have no clue how to do this. They can be driving yachts and having the fucking money. They still can't pull us off. All they can do is fuck around with 25 year old Columbia girls in Miami. But to actually take a powerful woman who produces, creates, and be able to guide you to put yourself swords down, put your shields down and to feel the pure healing energy of your divine truth at the core, this is as masculine as gets. The tattoos and the fights and all the, that goes all ball in the end, what you're doing and what you've been able to do. That's why he says I changed her. Because he didn't move? No, I'm saying he, he's immovable with you.
That's interesting.
This is why it triggered the transformation. So I'm happy for you too. Like there's, there's notes. I'm taking in it too. Just like watching because this took me along. I was a reactive motherfucker, man. I was reactive to everything. So to like even get to a place where I've been able to become more immovable. This is working for you. You don't have to try with the brand you're building with Alpha. Don't even have to try to, to play in the world the way the guy's playing. You teach them how the fuck you are doing this. I'm serious with this powerful woman who has a very powerful oration skill to calm, settle into her feminine with what you've done. This is what men are hunting for. They don't need more muscles. Guys like it. They don't need more tattoos. They don't need More Bugattis. They figure this shit out. So you two start doing this and start showing dudes how to do that. That is 10 times more valuable than being another fitness guy because there's a thousand fitness dudes out there and they're all fucking good. And there's a ton of dudes who want Olympia and there's a ton of dudes that are fucking shredded. But guiding them to this, you figure what the fuck you've done to pull that off. And then you did it with the hardest taste cut case study of all time and look winning. All right, you guys are amazing. Well, listen, another amazing podcast. And like all of our shows, we have no clue where it's going when we start, but it always lands absolutely perfect. This hot seat over here, the feminine hot seat in this show for the last two months has been pure fire. Thank you so much for both you being here on the show.
Thank you for having us.
And Danielle, thank you for being on the show.
Thanks for having me.

Next place only she can find you in the bedroom.
You can find me under him. Okay, so I'm back.
This is exactly how we love these shows.
Yeah. On that note, anything to make Garrett bright red. You thought you could do.
It's not helping with my sunburn, too. Between the two. Yes, you guys.
So for me, Forbes Riley document is my. Is a great place. Everything that I do is there. I still teach live on Sundays, and I've been doing live against everybody's suggestion. I love the live thing. It means a whole lot to me. And I go an hour and a half live. I had 600 people yesterday, so that's available to anybody. And I'll give you a free link to that so that you can. Guys literally could come and join. I love. You know, it's funny. This is the longest I've not talked about business. This is really powerful. Yeah. I think that's the most powerful medium, and I love it. So just Forbes Riley and for you.
Hopefully, Garrett will invite me to be part of the Warrior, and you can find me under his. His website, his group.

That's why I didn't trust him. Like, self. Self improved. Self discipline, Self image. Self. Turns out Self's a real name.
That's your last name. Yeah.
Right.
Joshua Self.
