We joked around because I said back in the day we would have taken his son and my daughter and we would have married you two to unify the kingdom.
Okay, now you don't say that stuff either. It's a lot of pressure.
No, I'm saying that's what, that's how it went with Kingdoms, right? And then you.
Foreign.
Welcome, you psychopaths. Thanks for coming.
Thanks.
Welcome to the Real White House Podcast.
The Real White House Podcast. So we started this back in. We had this idea back in like spring that we were like, hey, everybody and their dog is doing a podcast. And we feel like we have built some really cool and have a fun and amazing. It was funny. Sean last week, he's like, you guys are normal and not normal. I'm like, I know, I feel like normal, but then when I look at the dynamic of our family and what we've built, I'm like, that there's nothing normal about that. So we had this idea last year. I'm like, hey, why don't we bring in the dynamic of our entire family kind of playing around with words where our last name is White. We're like, we're pretty real people. We went with the Real White House. So and we, our house is massive. We live on the beach. So we call this the White House Castle. So, you know, welcome, welcome to our podcast. It's something that is just. Yeah, we're doing and we're going to see where it goes. We started out as a kind of a monologue and a show and then we realized we have five kids and multiple businesses and we were like, we don't have time to do a full on reality show. So that's where we're at. That's who we are. And I'm gonna introduce a topic to you guys which is boyfriends. No, no.
Reframing and networking.
Oh good.
We gotta thinking of like New Year's goals and resolutions.
Let's talk about some spicy stuff first. Let's talk about Ruby's boyfriend and how she's been on Snapchat 12 hours a day, every day.
We have lost her.
She's gone.
Spill the tea. Let's go. Grab the microphone. Let's talk. Ruby, let' so a week and a half ago you had never had a boyfriend and never had a kiss.
Well, first off, we. I had been homeschooling. Well, Bailey's dropped out of high school, so she does music for her career. But I had been homeschooling or her career.
Her school, my career, your career.
School is music. And then Ruby is. Was in homeschool. And then our homeschool teacher quit, and so I gave her the option to go back to school or go. We could hire another homeschool teacher. People are like, wow, how do you homeschool your children? I'm like, no, no, no, no, I do not. I barely can do math, but I hate math. We hired or we. Our homeschool teacher quit. I feel like within, like, two weeks, Ruby went from, like, this cute little teeny bopper to, like, back in school, has a boyfriend. And.
And Ruby and I didn't even meet him at school.
Oh, I know.
Even better.
I was worried you were gonna be, like, one of those 21 year olds that, like, never had a boyfriend or a kiss. I was like, oh, no. How do we get her out there?
Okay, so tell us. Tell us what happened here. Like, what? Give us the rundown.
I'm not explaining the entire story.
Okay, well, just dish the tea here about, like, who we're talking about here.
No, I'm not putting out names either.
Okay, so then let's do this. Let's do this because you're in the trap that I got put into, so I get it. So how do you feel having a boyfriend?
I don't know.
Just that.
But are you official? Like, you're like, call each other girlfriend, Boyfriend?
Well, you don't just say, hey, girlfriend.
But I don't know how this works.
I mean, I called Danny my hubby.
You got some interesting names, but y'.
All are a little different than usual.
We've been together for, like, a year and play Uno every day.
Okay. So I. I walked into the house, and I saw this big smile that I have not seen on your face walking in, and I was like, oh, wow, you look like you're glowing. And I was like, what's going on? And then I find out you have a boyfriend, so it must be doing something good for you.
Talk to us.
Yeah, you can talk, Ruby, it's fine.
Go ahead, say what you feel comfortable sharing. Because you don't have to share things if you don't want to. Just what you feel comfortable sharing. On this topic.
You don't have to talk about him. Just, like, how you feel.
Yeah, exactly.
We all know who he is, and.
We think he's Charlie's second birthday party. And I thought he was 16 when I first saw him because he's taller than me. And normally people my age are, like, 2ft tall because they just are. And then that was really awkward. And he also seemed very awkward and then Bailey kept telling me to go say hi to him, and I didn't want to. And then we finally did, but it was only for, like, two seconds.
Yeah, but she was eyeing him all night.
Yeah, you were eyeing him. You came down in the super hot dress. Was that on purpose?
Yeah, it was supposed to be an ugly sweater party. And she comes down in, like, a miniskirt. I was like, no.
Cause I saw it. No, that was before I even saw him. That was just. Cause I saw it at the store.
Yeah, it looked super cute. So you came down. So you see him. You're thinking, this guy's cute. I like him a lot.
And he's definitely 16.
He's definitely 16. And we find out. How old is he?
14.
14. And you guys kind of look like twins.
That's not a compliment.
She ruined it.
We were all sitting at the counter and we were washing our hands because we were in the garage because the garage is really dirty. And Isla, all of a sudden, we were so quiet. Isla goes, you guys look like brother and sister.
You did not just say, that's cute.
Because, like, Ruby's like, nine feet tall. Just kidding. Ruby's what? How tall are you? Five.
She's 5 7.
She's like an inch shorter than me, and I'm 5 7. And she's skinnier, so she looks taller. I'm five nine. She's five eight.
No. Yes.
No way.
We stand.
Ruby's taller than you stand up.
Ruby's taller than you watch.
Ruby's for sure taller than you watch Etsy.
Do you have shoes on? No.
Who's taller?
Oh, yeah, I'm taller.
Bailey's taller.
Bailey's got, like, two inches.
All right. Bailey's taller. All right.
Really?
You're.
Yeah.
Ruby looks taller than you.
Nobody knows this. It's just because.
That's because Ruby's got long limbs. Yeah.
Yeah.
Okay, so you have you. You. You kiss this boy. This was your first kiss. You're 12 and you had your first kiss. I like, was this a thing? Like, how you feeling about this first kiss action thing? Well, how old were you when you kissed first, Parker?
Dude, I' putting myself in the mode of being 12, being questioned like this on my first boyfriend on a public podcast. I mean, I'd probably be acting the same way as Ruby, but no, I think my first kiss was when I was in grade seven. So I would have been, what, like 13?
I'll be 13 in sixth grade.
And mine was this guy who I was dating, and we both did musical theater. And he was older than me.
James Bolino.
Oh, Lord.
You're not supposed to name drop.
I mean, I don't care, but I thought that was funny.
Oh, the.
My first kiss was sixth grade.
I don't think mine was still like seventh or eight.
Yeah.
Like all big Ken hair. Yeah.
We took you guys out on a date and I'm pretty sure you had like a Gucci jacket on.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And then I would always wear low rise skinny jeans. It was scary time. Skinny jeans are so scary.
Okay, just wear a tube top.
All of us had. All of us had our kiss basically at sixth or seventh grade. Mom, you too?
I don't remember my first kiss. I think it was like seventh or eighth.
Yeah, mine was like legit sixth grade. I remember it was first. First kiss, super stressful.
No, mine was definitely seventh grade. It's all coming back to me.
It's all coming back to you.
Yep.
So we have seventh grade and sixth grade.
Yeah, it's sixth grade, sixth grade, sixth grade, seventh, seventh grade, sixth.
No, mine was eighth. Mine was eighth grade. And I just remembered who it was. And I kissed a seventh grader.
Oh, you kissed a younger boy?
Yeah. That's funny. I went for the younger guy.
No.
Which is weird in junior high because the. The boys in junior high look like they're like 10.
Yeah.
But if you come nowadays, that's like. But I remember innocent people are like, having sex with. Oh, yeah. It's like a whole weird.
Oh, yeah. No, kids are having sex for 14 now.
Oh, yeah. Like in seventh grade is when a lot of people start having sex. Like 14 is the average, like, to have sex.
I think people were having. I think kids were having sex when I was 14, but it was not very often.
I think I'll wait till I'm 30.
I. I pulled the audience at my, like, people that work with me, and they all said it was probably when they were 14.
Yeah, that's like everyone says 14.
Yeah. Okay, so we have a boyfriend happening. Isla has a boyfriend.
A boyfriend. He knows that she likes him. But they're not like, dating dating.
They're four.
So they're four years old.
Well, like today. I guess Rocky was rude at the party.
Oh, yeah.
She know Isla is now very upset.
Yeah.
She came back and she was like. I was like, who'd you see? She was like, rocky, but you won't believe it. I was like, what? She was like, he pushed me down the slide and spit in my face.
What kind of boyfriend is that?
I was like, wow.
So that's how guys are sometimes.
This guy in kindergarten punched me in the face, and I, like, lost my first tooth and I punched him back. Do you remember that?
No.
In, like, Arizona.
I don't remember that either.
Oh, wow. That happened because he had a crush on me and I thought he was really ugly.
Okay, so we got the girlfriend boyfriend thing locked down. Congratulations, Ruby, on the new boyfriend. We approve. He's a good looking looking kid. His parents are very close with me. His father is a very powerful man. He's a great guy and one of the closest people in my world. So I approve of all these. We joked around because I said back in the day, we would have taken his son and my daughter and we would have married you two to unify the kingdom.
Okay, now you don't say that stuff either. It's a lot of pressure.
No, I'm just saying that's what. That's how it went. The kingdoms, right? And then you, like, marriage.
What about 25?
You two went off and, like, found each other without us having to do that.
So Parker has a new addition to his face slash neck.
Oh, yeah, let's talk about that.
But what inspired this?
Tell me what you got.
I have the two guys in my life both went and got neck tattoos last month, so.
That's right.
So, you know. You know, you're not your average tattoo.
And it says listen. And the whole premise of that is that it's to listen to my voice in God, because I've suppressed my voice in rooms where I believe my voice isn't as powerful as the person I'm standing beside. And for a long time, I had a hard time just listening to my voice or listening to what I want. And I've lost myself many times in this journey of trying to figure out my own voice. And I kind of like that everyone looks at me like I'm crazy. Meaning when I came to the party, like, for instance, like, I remember, like, making everyone awkward, and everyone's like, oh, my gosh, what is going on with Parker? Like, this is post breakup, this post everything.
I think that's what everybody's more worried about, like, because they know you broke up with your girlfriend that you've been with for, like, two years, Two and a half.
Yeah.
Yeah. And I don't know if I just stop asking if it's the final breakup. I'm like, you just tell me where you're at, like, daily. I'm like, how are you? You together? You know, you good?
Yep.
You getting another face tattoo? What's going On.
Yep. And then, no, I went and got it with Bailey, and it was.
Oh, bae, you were with him?
Yeah, he asked me if I wanted to come with you.
I asked Bailey to come so she could align it right. And do all the stuff on it. And ever since I had it, I mean, I've had the panic moment of, like, did I screw up? And then I was like, nope. No, I didn't.
No, it's permanent.
So. Yeah.
How does it feel when you look in the mirror with it?
I love it. Like, I think it's. I think, sick. Like, I like it. It. Yeah. I mean, it's still a little itchy right now, but, like, that's about it. Other than that, though, it, like, it's opening up a lot for me because it's changing the way everyone looks at me, and it's also changing the way I see myself in the mirror, too. So, like, it was almost kind of like I used it a little bit more as a catalyst to get myself to think.
People are really looking at you differently. Or is it your interpretation? Interpretation?
It's probably mine.
Yeah.
It's probably my own interpretation, but, like, it's had me just, like, let go. Like, I can't. I'm not that. Like, I'm not that guy that doesn't have one anymore. I'm not. I walk around in the gym and I. It's very different.
And, like, you feel more powerful.
Yeah, I feel more powerful. I definitely get looked at a lot. And, like, I also. I'm just like, yeah, it's just, like, nice, because it had to. I had so many stories around tattoos and stuff like that. Like, especially neck ones. Like, oh, my Lord. But coming to the realization that, like, as a young man, if I'm ever going to do anything for the guys I coach, I have to be able to make my own decisions, and I have to be able to own my own life, and it has to be off of no one else's opinions. Like, even if it's something that, like, mom was texting me when I was getting it. She's like, she's not a fan. She's like, what are you doing? And I was like. And then I was confronted.
The timing, I was like, okay. Like, I said, you're like, I've been thinking about it for a long time. I'm like, yeah, but why now?
Like, well, and I knew you would support me. But I was like. I also was confronted with a lot of shit during that because I was like, oh, no. Like, mom thinks it's A bad idea. And then I start questioning everything in my voice and I'm like, oh, my gosh, is this a decision I want to make all this stuff and I can't run a company that way, so. And I can't run my life that way. And I've chased the approval of my mom until I was 18. Then I chase the approval of dad till probably now, honestly. And then I've chased the approval of mom too, like, up until now. So, like, it was a decision that I'm gonna choose me and I'm no longer gonna, like, care what other people have to say about it, like, if I like it. Great.
Does your mom know?
No.
She posted anything on social media.
I posted it a little bit. I've had a few comments on it, like in like flex photos or something, but like, nothing. Nothing too much. But even then I'm like, yeah, I just realized really quickly in this season, like, I mean, I've been going through pits. I've been crying in my car. I've been doing a lot of de gutting of who I thought I was. And I'm just realizing, like, I don't need to explain why I'm happy. Like, I explained so much on why I do everything I over explain to try to justify in my own head around why I do what I do.
I don't know why people think, like, if you get a tattoo, like, especially in the culture that we come from, they're like, he's. He's out of his mind. He's lost his marbles. Oh my gosh. He's.
He's going to.
Says you.
You always are. Like, that's like putting a bumper sticker on a Bentley.
No, I don't prefer having a tattoo, but because, like, dad's lasted. You have tattoos? I don't think I'm not like, oh, my God. Like, are you okay? Like, I mean, in the moment I was like, are you okay? So that's. I'm also fine.
It's okay.
But I wasn't.
But I'm just saying, like, in our culture, like, if you are going to get any kind of tattoos, it's like, oh, my gosh, I can't believe it. It's like first time I had a drink in front of my parents and like, man, she's just. She's. She's not. She's. We don't know what's wrong with her. And you're like, I'm good. Like, I'm free. Like, yeah, like, you know what I mean? Like, I'm Making my own choices, regardless of the box that I was raised in or what you think about me. And it's. The tattoo just represents how powerful that is because you're just saying, I don't care, and I'm doing this for me.
Yeah. And that's, like. That's how I'm starting to run nowadays. And it's, like. It's a lot more freeing. Like, I'm definitely going through a lot of emotions for sure, but, like, I feel like I'm in the process of de gutting, so I haven't really done much in the last, like, two weeks, to be honest.
Hey, sometimes you gotta, like, listen. You just gotta listen.
Yeah.
Literally.
Literally. So, like, that's where I'm just like. I know in 2024, there's gonna be a new version of me that comes out, and I'm just kind of prepping it all, so I'm just taking all the liabilities I ever had and eradicating all of them.
Hey. Pressure produces diamonds.
Yep.
Is this. Is this new version you gonna do a fitness competition April 28th?
Yeah. Where?
Yeah.
Why can't you commit to it?
Yeah. What's the.
What is it?
I'm an emotional eater.
To do them. And that's.
It's not that.
Emotional eater. Who cares? Just eat a lot.
I mean.
Yeah, but then I don't eat.
I mean, it is. It is.
I get so stressed out and anxious.
You're not a not eater.
Yeah, like, I don't eat the same.
It's different for guys. That's why I cut so good.
Because, full honesty, I'm like. I run off of caffeine, nicotine, and then a meal at the end of the day.
Yeah, most people actually do that. But you know what?
Andrew Tate does that too.
It's. It's because I'm the same way. Like, I'm not great at eating. I'm just not a foodie, and I'm very anxious, and so I just don't eat. And so one of the things that. Yeah, I'm not an emotional eater.
I'm such an emotional eater.
Yeah. I'm just not bad. It's like, I don't even notice I'm hungry. And then I'll be like, I haven't eaten all day. And so, like, one of the things that Val would say, she's like, just keep protein in your house, and every few hours, shove some chicken in your mouth. I'm like. I'm like, but I don't want to. She's like, who cares? You'll look better. I'm like, okay.
Yep.
So for me, I was just like, I literally. It's so gross. But, like, I'll just be, like, hanging out, have lunch. I just get a bowl of chicken and rice or whatever.
Yeah.
I don't even think about it. If I snack, I literally snack on chicken.
It's gross.
Yeah. I, like, I just don't even eat. I'll just eat, like, 2,000 calories at the end of the day. Like, I'm like, I could not do that.
I would gain weight if I did that.
Yeah, well, that's the thing. I'm gaining weight, but I'm leaning down. So, like, my muscle mass hasn't changed, but my. My body fat percentage.
What if. Okay, okay. What if you.
What is your body?
I didn't even do it. I just looked, and I'm like, I'm easily 6%.
Okay. But here's what I will tell you. Like, because I wanted to do one for years, and I had this story that, what if I can't? So that's the only reason you won't commit, because you're like, what if I can't? Or what if I'm not willing to. To do the things right? But also, I think in setting a goal, don't do it because you want to do it. I got to this place where it was after I live that I finally was like, this is not okay.
Yeah.
And I was like, I am in such a painful spot with my weight and how I look and how I feel about myself, and that I am now willing to commit to whatever it is, even if I'm not an eater. And somebody's like, here. I remember my nutritionist. She's like, here. Here's where you have to eat. And I was like, that's 15. That's like 15, 1600 calories. I'm like, I eat, like, a thousand calories a day. She's like. She's like, yeah, you need to actually eat more to lose weight and put on muscle. I'm like, are you serious? But I was like, you know what? I have nothing to lose. And I, like, I'm just gonna go all in. So if you do it, like, do it for you. And then you just have to, like, submit to the program, you know?
And that's where I'm, like, finding this whole season is just doing it for me. Like, I mean, like, I've canceled all my cards. I've done. I've done a lot of changes in the last week, like, silently. But, like, the biggest Thing that, like, I've been. I've been told is I've felt so much pressure to have to share everything, and I felt so much pressure to have to always be open all the time about everything. And in that, there's no privacy, and I'm actually having a lot of power.
So you feel like you have to tell the world everything.
That, plus growing up in Warrior.
Yeah.
It's not really that my story was necessarily volunteered by me to be told. And so I just got used to. Used to being on stage and being the main topic or being the story. You know what I mean?
That's fair, though. But also, I feel like I have a different perspective on that. Because you didn't grow up fully, like, from, like, birth to now in this. So since I was, like, born birth to now in it and, like, subversed in it, it's different for me. I don't, like, feel like I'm being, like, exploited, because I've learned it's not even, like, Warrior that taught me that. It's just, like, you guys are very honest in who you are and always share. And so me as a human being, I wouldn't say I'm an extrovert, but I wouldn't say I'm an introvert. I'm, like, ambivered introvert. Yeah, exactly. And so since I'm a songwriter, too, I have to get in rooms and be able to share everything and be like, this is what we're writing about.
It's a connecting piece.
And it's like, it's. And then. Well, I don't. I would even say, like, treatment is what exploited me. If anything, you guys never did, it was treatment because you were forced to be telling strangers your deepest, darkest traumas. So, I don't know. I just want to say my perspective, but.
No, no, I agree. I. I completely agree. And I didn't grow up in it either.
Invalidating yours at all.
No, you're good.
Can see how if you step into world, it's like, I stepped into treatment, then it started exploiting me. But if you stepped into this world and you're not used to it, and you're used to a completely different dynamic, then it's like, fuck, what the fuck is this?
But I get what you're saying, because I remember when Garrett started sharing stuff, I'm like, did you even ask if you could share that?
Yeah.
I'm like, you can share stuff about you, but I don't want that being shared. But now, even to this day, it's almost like if there's something specific, I'm like, I'll stop him. I'll be like, hey, don't go too far. Like that's that you can share a little bit. Tip of the iceberg. But the rest of that is private and personal to me.
What? And that's what screwed me up too. Like if I look at everything that I've done in the last even two and a half years or whatever, like I actually unpack that. Like I was over sharing everything. And in the oversharing, the problem with that is, is that you get opinions left, right and center.
So many opinions.
So how are you supposed to trust your own voice when you have 100 opinions, especially being dad's son. It is what it is. Like the warrior clients all have something to say about my business, about me.
About my life, and fuck off then.
I've gotten close to getting there. What about, I'm not quite there yet.
Nobody can tell you. And I think too, I was talking with someone about this the other day. Even right there, that's an example of I'm not sharing who this person is. Yeah, yeah. It's like you can share things without oversharing.
Yeah.
But fuck, hold on. Adhd. Wait, wait, wait. Let me remember my train of thought. Oh yeah. I was talking to this person and basically they were like making a decision based off of their parents or like feeling a certain way because their parents weighed in heavily. And this happens to a lot of people in my like, like space. And like, especially because we're younger and it's like I was, I was telling them, I was just like, dude, like, why, why do you let your parents opinions affect you so heavily? Because at the end of the day they're just looking. They're saying these things because they're trying to protect you and they're looking out for you, what's best for you. And so are the people around you. Because all those guys are like basically like mini dads, like, whatever. Like they're all dad uncles. That's uncles.
Yeah.
And so it's like they're just saying their own opinions out of protection. But you don't need a lot of cooks in the kitchen. At the end of the day you need to be like, I appreciate your opinion, but that's not going to change my opinions. You just have to be very firm in what you believe in. And then if you hear these other opinions, then you can allow it to maybe keep your mind open to different options.
Isn't that interesting how people will give you feedback and critiques and think they're helping, and you take it as attack. So they think they're helping. And it's usually the people that are closest to you, and you're like, whoa, whoa, whoa. You feel attacked. And they're like, well, let me save you. Let me help you. We don't want you to get in trouble. And you're like, I'm good.
Not all the time, though. I think it depends on your personality type, how you internalize things.
So I've been doing a deep dive on this, and I think I have actually figured it out. I'm not gonna lie. And maybe that's my ego talking, but it's because an individual doesn't have a solid foundation, and so they let the foundation be cracked and thrown around like a flag in the wind based on everyone's opinion because they're not solidified in who they believe they are.
Right.
And so because you don't like. Because I had never taken the real time besides saying, like, hey, I'm going to be this or I'm going to be this, I've stepped in a whole new role being a business owner and, like, being in this domain as a coach, that one. The pressure is different. Everything's different. But it's had me look at like, okay, who do I actually believe myself to be? Because let's just be, like, straight. I kind of felt like I kind of lost that, whether that be in the family, the. My relationship or whatever. It was like, I just found that I didn't have a solid belief system on who I believe Parker to be. So I just. Dad's like, you're an amazing speaker. Cool. Yeah, I am. Mom's like, hey, you actually can do some shit with fitness. Why don't you keep going? Great. That's who I am. But I never answered those questions on my own. And so, like, even with my guys in the academy, it's like, I'm like, hey, what makes you happy? What makes you feel fulfilled? Fuck what anyone else has to say. Because if we can't get the foundation built, then this is why we're sitting here worried about what people are saying on social media, worried about what dad has to say, or mom has to say or my friends have to say, it's all because of my failed belief system. Because when I'm uncertain about something and you call me out or you're trying to help and you're trying to say, hey, like, maybe you should do this, I'm obviously going to take that as an attack because I'm already Questioning that inside.
Yeah. Can I do it or do I.
Want to do so?
You're exposing the fact that I'm not certain in what I believe or what I know I am. And so therefore, your opinion weighs way more than what you even are trying to make it be. So that's why it depends on the individual. It's like, if you can build a solid foundation, this is why this whole tattoo list and everything like that, like, I kind of feel like the need to just go underground.
I feel like. Like, you're in. Figure out what that is, is very zero given. You're just kind of like, well, no, it's. It's like when you get to this place, you're like, I just got to tune out the noise. Like, I need to tune out the noise and just kind of. Yeah, like, you're less triggered and less. When you get. When my anxiety and stress gets, like, so big, I'm like, I just need to surrender. Like, what is this? Is this really. Is life really that hard? Like, I know it sounds stupid, but I'm like, is this really that hard? And then when I kind of surrender that energy, I'm like, everything's good. Like, kids are, like, screaming. Like, they're fine. It's fine. Everybody's fine.
I can't surrender to my anxiety because I have to do the opposite. The way my brain works, I have to. I have to show it. I did this in therapy. I learned that if you tell your anxiety, you think of it as like an individual. You tell it. I'd like, thank you for trying to protect me, but you're not serving me right now. I love you, though, but, like, I can't surrender and just be like, oh, whatever. Because it's like, then my anxiety will just get worse. And it's just like, for me, in my brain, it just doesn't work like that. So I have to come over top of my anxiety and own it versus being like.
Like, let your yourself, like, live in that space.
Live, not live in the anxiety. But if, like, last night I had really, really bad anxiety and I was, like, seeing shit and like, I was just very nervous all night. I don't know. I don't know why. Like, it's. I have a very imaginative brain, and I didn't get to do a lot of imaginative things and creative things that day. Cause I had a lot of more business things, so your energy was going there. So super creative. So then my anxiety is like, well, it's nighttime. You're used to this when you don't have creative outlets, so. And it shoots anxiety. But for me, I have to like, overcome it and be like, I'm fine. Like, you're like, it's not like I can't like let go. I have to be like on top. So that makes sense.
No, that makes sense. Yeah.
Yeah.
And be like, dude, like, I get it. You're trying to protect me, but I'm in charge.
That's good. That's a powerful place to be because you can't let your anxiety control you. I guess in a way I've done that. But for me, I get almost irritated that it is controlling me. I'm not allowing this to dictate my behaviors. And so for me, if I have high stress and anxiety, that's why I play the balance game really well. Because if I'm always like in this stress space, it's really hard for me. So like, yeah, I'm like, hey, I don't want to. I can't work too much here. I can't do much here. Like, if I ran around like dad, I would just be like, I would, I couldn't do it. Like, I cannot. It would give me too much anxiety. Like, I can't take on that much.
I feel like I could.
Are you that way too?
Welcome to my world. This is like the thing because like, it's like, hey, like I called you and I remember I was 19, I called you, I said, I'm gonna kill myself, so I need to figure myself out. So in that I just, I submitted to any teaching I got because I was like, I clearly don't know what the hell to do. So dad's gonna teach me. Well, in that not everything that dad does works for me.
Yeah.
And like for instance, getting up at 5 in the morning to or 4:30 in the morning to work out or work out at 5, I'm like, no.
Baddies at the gym.
There's. It's not even. Yes, that's a big thing.
A baddie. That's baddie.
Mike, Babe, Bailey, Mike.
You guys are bad at. What is it Samford, though?
It's like hot girl.
Like a hot girl.
There's no baddies at 5am now it's.
A bunch of dudes. We're.
We're a crew.
At 5am the social hour at the.
Gym is we're going to take the. We're taking the world over. It's all the kings at 5:00am yeah.
Okay.
The craziest piece is this, is that I'm a 24 year old male trying to live a 45 year old lifestyle. Why am I doing this? Because I submitted to what I was told to do and which it helped not. I'm not negating anything that I've been helped with. I'm very grateful for actually doing that. But at the same time it's this unpackaging of like, okay, I can be 24.
Yeah.
And I don't need to be 45. I don't need to be married and have a kid, have all these things.
Yeah, Yeah, I felt like that. Well, and then there's too much pressure on you.
Yeah.
And you're like, wait, I'm not in my 40s. Like, I don't need that kind of pressure. It's funny though too. Even I get like the like. Because he gets up at like 3 or 4 in the morning, I'm like.
That'S not 2:30 today.
I'm like, that's not something to brag about. I'm like, I'm like, I got up at 7:30, I felt great about my life. But like, there's this place too where like, I suffer from this guilt of like, I need a hustle, I need a hustle, I need a hustle. And then I'm like, you know what? I have four kids and fuck it, my nanny's gonna show up every morning at 6:30 so that I can sleep in, work out and do whatever I want. I'm like. Because I feel like I've earned that in life. Whereas like, I like. But sometimes it's still hard for me. I'm like, she's down here cooking the kids breakfast. I'm like, I feel bad. I should have woke up with him. I'm like, why? Because I'm like, I love my kids. I don't need to get up, get up and feed him breakfast every morning. Right.
So I'll prove something.
Yeah.
But like, you guys, I remember like I packed you guys up in the snow and walked to the gym. I didn't walk to the gym, but I packed. I literally, I would work out every morning and I would take both of you guys and we lived in Utah and we would go to the, we.
Would be in the playground area.
Yeah. And I dropped you off and I got my workout in. And so it's like I, it's. I felt like I put in the grind for so long and I'm like, I love having two more babies, but I'm gonna do it my way. Like, I'm like, I'm not gonna do it.
Like, and you're financially painful too. So, yeah, exactly.
Exactly.
I've thought about that for my own life when I'm older, like music wise. Because like a lot of the music industry, they're like, you can't have a child and do music. Your career goes over. Even like recently, like took three years off of music and like kind of missed a window, but it was a whole thing.
Look at, look at your mom. Look what I had. Well, that's what I'm saying.
Well, that's what I'm saying is I'm like, well, why do I have to do that? Just because you're putting limitations on me. Like what? Like, and I've thought about it because, like, I want to be able to do, like if I'm financially able to have a child, then I'm gonna have a child when I'm older and like, have someone who's in the studio babysitting my kids so they can be submerse the music. And when I'm in my session recording, they'll be outside in the booth. And then when I'm like outside of the booth, then I'll come hang out with my kid and do whatever I want to do and you know, like, have them a part of it.
I feel like you're a lot like me in the sense that like, if somebody tells you, like questions your beliefs or they're like, why you can't do that, you're like, like, well, watch me. And now you, like, want to do it even more. You're like, well, watch me.
Do you know, I've noticed Ruby looks like five years older in the last week.
She's just quietly listening. It's her makeup.
She does look. She looks beautiful.
She does makeup now.
Hey, Ruby. So I'm asking another question. You ready?
Shorts?
Ruby, what's it, what's it like?
Ruby, those are my shorts.
No, they're not.
That's all right. Let's not start a fight about clothes on the show.
No, they're not even hers.
Here's the question for Ruby. Ruby, what does it feel like to have a super cute, really attractive boy who you're snapping 12 hours a day with?
He's really nice to me.
I know. It's cute. He's really.
Actually, you guys are very.
They literally, their energy and they're is like so similar. They, they're both like, like, they both look older than they are and they're both like really cute and awkward and I'm. You know what?
I was telling dad, he really, really likes you.
He doesn't live here and I Was like, maybe this will be good for Ruby because she'll actually have to get on a phone call and work on talking. Call. Yeah.
Yeah. They're not quite there. That's a little aggressive. FaceTime is coming.
Wouldn't you call?
Yeah.
FaceTime him.
You have to start FaceTimes, I think, would be great. That's your next step.
You can't say you have a boyfriend and you're like, I don't call him. I only snap him.
No, we talk on it.
Like, yeah, yeah, but, like, you can't talk.
Can you say voice back and forth.
And you can technically do FaceTime on Snap.
You can do lives on, like, a live FaceTime on Snap.
Yeah.
And you can send video and audio notes to each other. Yeah. Okay.
It's like text, but it's like the ultimate communication tool.
So what do you feel like, Ruby? Like, just like. What's it like? Like, in the last week? I mean, I feel like you just are a different person the last week and a half. Having a boyfriend.
Are you gonna dump your dog?
What?
Oh, you're breaking up with Dory? Breaking up boy is like, seriously, like, I. Like. I've noticed just like you are. You're kind of floating. You're just, like, a happier. It seems like you're just, like, excited about this shop. It's kind of interesting for me as your dad because I get to watch this beautiful, amazing daughter of mine all of a sudden starting to, like, bloom into this young woman. Like, is there. Is there, like, it. Like, what's it like? Like, what's talking about? What's going on in your head? Like, your feelings about the whole thing?
No.
No, nothing.
No, I'm too.
We're not gonna get anything out of you.
You're only too awkward if you say you're too awkward.
Your socks are cute. They're white. They're Nike.
Yeah, I know.
Hey, mom, did you see those? At one point, as a father, I have my son break up with his girlfriend.
I know. I was thinking I had all three.
Of my older girls had boyfriends.
Yeah.
Bailey had a boyfriend, Ruby had a boyfriend, and Isla had a boy. You have a boyfriend. Okay, sorry. Let me rephrase. Bailey has a boyfriend. Ruby has a boyfriend. Isla had a boyfriend. It appears they're breaking up after the playground today. And Charlie is just excited that it's her birthday today.
Oh, yeah, it is, Charlie.
I know. She was screaming this morning.
I heard her. I know. This morning I. I woke up and I was like, oh, crap, it's her birthday. Because we already celebrated her birthday. We had a party. So then Heather took him to the park and I went and got like a super cute cake and balloons and wrapped one of her Christmas presents. Cake. It's a cute.
Is it the Ralph's cake? Oh, my God, those are so good.
You guys are so good. You guys. For your birthday. It's there. It's the pink flower one. I hate cake.
But those are good.
I know it.
In the fridge.
When she wakes up, we'll sing Happy Birthday. I was gonna give it to her before lunchtime and I was like, she's gonna be on a sugar high.
Yeah.
Yeah. Charlie's so cute. Did you guys see the pictures I posted?
Yeah.
She's such a kitty. She's growing up. She's gonna. I don't know who she's gonna be like. I think she'd be like Parker and Ruby versus Bailey and I.
You know what I sense about her is like as a baby, she's very witty. She's funny. Yeah. I'm like, how often do you see a baby that's like, funny? And she knows she's funny. Like, it's good.
She'll be like, side eye.
I know she does that.
Yeah.
I trained her to do that. I go, isla, side eye. And then now she goes side eye.
You mean Charlie. She's funny.
Teach her how to twerk, Bailey, please.
Oh, yeah.
Let's. Let's course correct from my life.
I was in middle school, okay. When Isla was born. So I was just learning how to twerk and was with Ruby and then she was there.
Swear and torque all the time. I was like, can we say the F word every other word. It was like, now you've gotten better. But there was.
It's because I came out of treatment and every. What do you expect? I was living with a bunch of 12 to 18 year olds, like, working on purse.
Like, it was a lot of efforts.
Charlie will be the hybrid of all of us.
Yeah.
You can tell she's got the calm demeanor, but then she's got the wit too. So it's like it's both. And she's getting more comfortable with her voice right now.
Yeah, it's cute.
Yeah. I feel like she'll be the hybrid.
Hawaii's coming up. Oh, yeah. And Parker's gonna house it.
And I'm coming back to Dory's it too.
Do you know that the house comes with a dog?
The house comes with a dog.
I just know I'm gonna get a 99 point list of what I need to do from Ruby and I'll be fine. I'm good at following direction, so I'll be okay.
And then I'll give you the real set of directions. I'll be like, dory does not need to be in her kennel all day.
Yes. But it'll be good. It's interesting. I'm like, it'll be fun. It'll be fun.
I think it'll be fun for you because you're gonna have this giant ass house to yourself.
Is Michael coming down the whole time too?
He'll be down on the 28th.
So gonna be you and Michael for Christmas break.
Me and Michael? Yep.
And a few baddies from the six o' clock class.
So tell us about that, this experience. You were supposed to go talk to somebody at the gym and you wussed out or what?
Yeah. What happened?
Oh, God, yes, he did.
Okay. Yeah. So I was at the gym.
And like, she hears this podcast.
By the time she hears this, I've already. I will. I've already talked to her, but I've already said hi. But like, no, basically like, yeah, I work out at. At six o' clock now. Or like seven o'. Clock. It's actually seven o' clock.
Gym.
The place to meet when you're single.
I don't know.
Better than the club.
It's better than the club, in my opinion, so.
And like, if you're not religious, then it's better than the church.
And then you can see what they look like in real lighting.
Yes. And real lighting.
No filters.
And no filters. And it's like. It's just. It's a lot easier. So true.
No makeup and just.
Just a jam.
Oh, that's a good way to see someone, right? Nothing hiding there.
Nope. Can't hide anything. I was like, you can't wear tissues in your bra and stuff like that. There's just a lot of things that negate that in the gym, so.
So if they're cute in the gym, imagine.
Exactly. And I'm also gym. Gym rat. So I like, I need. I need someone like that. But like, basically, yes. There's this girl that keeps looking at me all the time. And I've looked over quite a few times, and I had a moment where I was like, okay, I'm gonna be. I'm gonna, like, be a man. I'm gonna go, like, actually say hi.
And if a girl looks at you a lot and even works out in your vicinity, she wants you to notice her.
And she even put a freaking headphone like this.
Yep.
And I'm like, I am just getting over the fact that I'm still. That's like, I'm still a little bit in that skinny guy mentality of, like, I don't have much to offer. I'm like, I don't know what my value is or whatever. So basically I go over to say hi to her, and yeah, basically I come over and she, like, gets up off the machine, goes to go to get water. Because she's in that awkward machine that, like, I'm not about to say hi to her. And that's.
She's doing that machine by you. She definitely wants you to say hi.
Yeah. So then I'm like, okay, nope, not gonna do it. So then she gets up. She's like, what's it gonna take to.
Get this guy to notice me?
Exactly. Even, oh, my goodness, last night was terrible.
But you're like, hey, you need a spot.
That's what's making her want you even more.
Because she knows. She knows because I've been looking over to it. We've been playing this, like, weird, weird judo game going on. But anyways, I go to say hi to her, and she's walking to the water. She turns around to address me and, oh, guys, I'm not very proud of this one. I. I had my hat on, and I'm not kidding. I just freaking adjusted my hat a little lower.
Stop it.
And just kept walking. Like, I wasn't about to approach her.
I think you're a dick.
And I was like, o, so true. No, this happened like, this happened, like, four days ago. I was like, she's still looking at me then.
You have to go today or tomorrow.
Well, yes, before Christmas.
She always there, get your New Year's.
Day at the same time every time. And then she knows that I'm into fitness, too, because obviously my body. But, like, she's doing, like, poses in the freaking mirror and like. Like the actual, like, bodybuilding poses or whatever. And I'm just like, oh. And then she does the thing. I know, because I know girls at this point, like, meaning I talk to you guys enough about it, and it's like, does the whole thing where she, like, purposely walks this way and then out so that, like, her ass. And I'm just like, damn it. Like, am I gonna grow a pair of balls at some point and just say hi, or am I just gonna keep being this guy that, like, puts his headphone in? Just like, man pussies out every time.
I don't work out lifetime because I don't want to be in anybody's energy or space. And I've heard that the gym is, like, a big. Like, it's a big social club.
Oh, it's cool. Last. Last night was crazy. Yeah, there was that. Yeah, there was, like, four girls that were just like. It's funny.
Girls doing the gym now is glutes. So what are you gonna look at?
And then they sit on the. They, like, put this scenario in your head. I guess I'm sitting there in the dumbbell section and all of the, like, walking stairs or whatever things like.
Oh, the stairs.
Machine masters or whatever, they're all lined up right here. Well, I have, like, four girls that are all done the Stairmaster that are doing the stairmaster. And all four of them. I'm like, the only guy there that's a stairmaster. Like, no, that's in the dumbbell section. So I'm doing shoulders and stuff, and I have four girls that are sitting there just, like, watching me work out.
You're like, hey, guys.
Hi. Like, but I don't know what to do with this attention. I never gotten it before, so I'm like, I don't know what to do. And then it's, like, confusing, but you.
Kind of like it. You're like, I feel awkward.
That's true.
Because you got in a relationship, like, right when you started your.
Well, like, a little bit in a relationship. Like, you kind of dated around, but, like, you have.
Dude, you didn't have. You didn't date at all before you've. Taylor.
No.
You just were, like, hanging out, like, smoking weed, playing video games and working.
Yeah.
How does it. Okay, so, like, when I feel like when younger guys break up, I think they kind of, like, retreat and work on themselves. And then I feel like, no, no.
Oh, my age group, if a guy.
Breaks up with a girl or gets.
Broken up with, they go hoe phase.
Like, to the nines, they add, like, 10 bodies.
Older guys ho phase too. That's why I was like, you're in the tweener.
I'm like, no, that's the phrase.
Hoe face.
Like, anybody who gets divorced, even girls do it. The guy and the girl.
Urge of like, yeah, I have my own place.
Like, you're not gonna do ho phase.
Let's just have a ton of.
Face.
No face.
I can put your face on a hoe.
No, no.
I was like, what is this all about?
This whole face?
Yeah, whole phase. Got it, got it, got it, got it.
No, of course you have the urges to do that, but I don't think it's like beneficial at the end of the day.
Like, I don't think it is either. Cuz sex is supposed to be an intimate thing and if you're just doing it to get over someone, that's kind of stupid. But also, you know, whatever floats your boat. I have some friends who are way better as hoes than they are in a relationship.
Yep.
And I don't know, it's like a freedom thing. It's like I've been with the same person for so long. You're like, like a freedom thing.
It's almost like, you know, like when you're like basically like your parents say, hey, you. You can't leave the house.
Yeah.
And then you want to leave the house. But if you have full freedom to leave the house, you. You actually chill at the house sometimes.
Yeah. Yeah.
That's kind of where I'm at. So it's like I'm like, okay, like I now have the opportunity to do it, but now I'm like confronted with the fact of like, I couldn't do it before for so long and now I can. I'm kind of like, well, what's, what's the point of this? Like, I'm like, well, unless she's like smoking, which there's a few. But like that if, if not, then I'm like, no, like I got better things to do. Money. Money seems a lot more valuable than.
Yeah.
To me.
And you do some work. I was gonna say that's the thing. I'm like, wrong body part for you.
Screw it. I'm kind of going into this point where like dad said he's like sensing this, like, not give a energy on me.
Yeah.
I just don't care. I'm like, whatever I want to make.
That's a powerful place to be in because it's a more creative space. You're like, I can create whatever I want because like, I'm not. There's less of that worry about what anybody thinks. And even then, like, you're like, I'm not distracted. I don't care. Like if, if. And that's a good space to be when you meet somebody in a relationship too, because you're not actively like looking for it. Even when I met Dad, I was like, he. We were both in a place. Like I was 18, but I was still in a place where I was like, I'm not looking for anything long term. Like, it's. It is what it is. And then it allowed us to actually develop, you know, a relationship and not.
Just because things happen when you're not looking for them.
Yeah.
I mean, Danny started dating.
Plus, mine's like. I'm more like, my moon doesn't go to. I see these girls in the gym, and I'm like, oh, wow, let's take them home. Yeah, that's not, like, what my brain goes to. My brain goes to, like, oh, we should totally work out sometime. Like, that'd be fun.
But you know what, though? That's like, mom and I were talking about this, like, a few days ago. Mom was like, hey, if we got divorced, like, we were just talking about, like, playing through scenarios. Mom was actually playing through the scenario and projecting it on me. And then she wasn't wrong. She's like, I mean, if we got divorced, right now, I probably roll up about 10 to 20 super hot guys and like, the next, like, four months. And I'm like. And she's like, you would probably date around, settle in, maybe find one. And even then, you probably wouldn't hang out much with her. Like, And Shot was like, yeah, you're right. Like, there's just a piece in my moral code for me as a human. That's weird with this.
Like, though your whole face would just be into your work. It's not even a whole face.
I'd the out of my business. Like, that's why. Oh, baby, guess what? You and I've been waiting a long time for this.
You wouldn't even know.
You need the gym. Yes, we have all the time. No interruptions and no curfew. That's exactly because, like. Like, for me, like, I look at just how, like, I've never once in my brain, I watch guys do this at break. They get divorced. I'm like, I'm gonna understand it, but at the same time, I don't understand it. Like, I don't know if maybe my brain's wired weirder or like. No, not weirder.
It's just different. You grew up. Different environments, different structures.
I have.
And you, I think you guys both think of, like. Like, like, are you worth my time? It's more of, like, you're like, I. You're not really. You're not hot enough. I don't know. You. Like, it's almost like they're not worth.
The time it would take.
Yeah, you're like. You're like, the effort. You're like, I could put that effort.
Into something that time. Why am I gonna do this? Like, I could go from a company that makes 8 to a company that makes 15. And time it takes for Me to convince you to come home. So.
So it just seems like too much work to date is what you're saying.
Yeah, it's like, why? Why do this? Like, that's where I'm like, I just want friends. Like, I just. I literally would love at this point to. Yeah, okay. There's still the urges of other things. But, like, I'm like, if I could just have a posse of like four girls that I just am, like, friends with. I'm just like, I don't.
They just casually put out, maybe.
Yeah, but like, I'm like, I have no expectations anymore. Like, I used to have all these expectations on it where I had dad's moral compass too, where I'm like, I don't want to do this. Like, I'm not a hoe. I can't be a hoe. It's just not in my DNA.
Me.
But then I have the other side of me that goes like, it. Dude, it's all the societal pressures. It's what mom did to you. Well, that's what it did. Like, not my mom. Your mom. And I'm like. And I have the same thing. So it's like the upgrowing of.
Is it like a self righteous thing?
It is a self righteous thing because the people that go around and do those things are not, like, they're not high caliber. They're not high caliber. This is what we've been taught our whole chapter. Childhood, though, like, there's a lot of stuff that I'm watching myself on wire that I've seen in dad or that I've. I've watched me pick up.
Dude, listen, if you run it in my brain, my brain, I've learned how to be non judgmental about it with humans and I can understand why humans do it, but if I allow it to unravel down to the core belief, I'm like, hoes, dude. Like used property. What are you doing? I can't believe you just fractured your soul and gave it to 20 people.
Yep.
No, like, I'm saying, like, what are you?
I would be like, who as do.
You think you are?
I'd be like, listen, you think you are?
I'd be like, those don't mean anything to me. That doesn't devalue me.
That doesn't. I think it doesn't matter. At the same time, I can understand.
But at the same time, I've been with the same man for 20 years.
Yeah.
And so maybe I have that moral chip too. Or I just got that married young.
I think if you Think that about someone just because they've had a lot of sex. I think that's poor character on you, not them.
Yeah, but I'm also not gonna want to marry a chick that 90 dudes.
But also, at the same time, they're a different person.
Like, when I hear guys, like, some guys we know and they say their number, I'm like, I would never date them.
I am proud of my number. It's that big of a deal.
I can still count my number on two hands. So as far as I'm concerned, I am find a guy that has less than 10 and tell me that he's better than me. There's no way. Like, and that's where, like, my ego definitely plays high in that. But I'm like, no. I talk to guys on a daily basis. Like, I know how much really goes on. And I'm like, me sitting with a body count of eight is not high.
No, that's not high at all.
I'm like, most girls can't even, like.
Leave high school without a body count of 10.
I win.
What's your body count? Some people I know, and my body count is two.
Exactly.
Remember what their body count is because they don't care to keep.
Yeah, well, because it's just like a weekend thing.
Yeah.
Last weekend.
I don't know. I don't think it's. I mean, it's not like I'm over here with a high body count at all. I just have my boyfriend and stuff. But, like, it's like, I don't think it's that big of a deal like.
That it's even called. The body count is like, just speaks to how it's so.
Yeah.
Degraded.
Yeah.
Like, as. Like just to call it. Body cam.
Yeah. It's like, to me, it feels like, oh, my God, dude.
It's really become that, like, desensitized.
Yeah, well, of course.
Yeah.
If a whole face like, like it. There's a difference between having sex and.
But that's why people that can't connect and don't have intimacy now, they don't even know how.
It's hard.
People that, like, have that many body count. Like, it would be hard to actually have that same, like, intimacy with somebody.
You can't. Because the intimacy that most. Yes. The right person. But here's the thing. The intimacy most people are trying to find with hookups, they don't take the emotional time to actually understand the person which creates that in.
Right.
And that's why.
Detached.
You're just detached. It's Just. It's just like, what. I'm not gonna use dad's terms, but.
Like, I know what you're saying.
You know what I mean? So, like, and. And it's. Yeah, it's just like, hey, I'm using you. You're using me?
Yeah. And that's like, this is a need I have. Like, whatever ye.
Like, then there's no fulfillment.
You feel the actual act of itself. I mean, like.
Judging the fact that men do it. I watch it happen all the time with my guys get divorced. I'm not judging it in the sense if I'm like, you shouldn't do that. I'm just saying from the way my frame on the world is, I couldn't do it.
I think even if I.
Even if we were divorced, where I'm like, I couldn't do it. I'm not saying you shouldn't do it. I'm saying I couldn't do it. Like, if there's a piece of I'm too old in my code, in my frame, it's just too built. I'm like, this is part of the pressure.
I think if you had the right attention on you, you would.
I don't know. I have a. There's something at the core level of my. And it could be wrong for that reason.
Maybe you should.
Maybe at the core, that's like. It's kind of like. Like I. Like, there's like, no. Like, there's no dis. Like, it's not even. It's weird. It's not even a desire. It's like. Even if desire rises, this, like, line just goes. Yeah. No. So then there's this piece of. Just kind of like, hey, how are we? Just floating. Which is why it was always weird when you, like when you started having sex, Bailey. I was like. I was just like. I didn't know what to do as father. I was like.
I mean, my first situation, her situation was weird, but.
Yeah.
But even the second one, when I'm sitting here to talk with you and Danny, it's like, it was super, like, weird for me. Like, I was like, please don't get.
Pregnant and be safe. Thank you.
And you didn't let me go on birth control until I started dating Danny.
So, yeah, I was.
That could have prevented.
See this 14 year old being. I'm good with these conversations now. But when they started first, I didn't know.
I started having sex when I was 14, so, like, sorry, guys.
Yeah.
Plus, I did not do that. I did not like. No, that was the thing. Plus, you also weren't the guy that was going on in Scott High School screwing every girl on the cheerleading squad. So, like, that's also the difference. There's guys that grow up. Exactly. So you carry that. You think that it gets better or worse when you step out of school. It gets worse in the sense of whatever pattern you did in high school is what you will continue on after high school because you don't have the skill set.
I have so many thoughts.
Really. Always has to be okay.
I'm an opinionated human being.
Yeah.
You're gonna break it like you're gonna buy cancer eventually. Because my give a all my money.
No, we're gonna. We're gonna wrap it up by talking about. What's your New Year's resolution? Riby. Go.
What?
So this. This podcast. I don't have one.
I'm not saying you shouldn't.
All.
I don't know. Who knows?
Are you guys having a side conversation? Hey, do you need a separate mic?
No, we're.
You need to go in the room.
No, it's probably heard on the microphone, and Parker thought he was covering it. It's. We're gonna play it anyways. All right. So New Year's Rev. Is this what you want to talk about? New Year's resolution?
No, we've already been going for an hour. We're gonna wrap it up with New Year's resolution.
Okay, let's wrap it up. New Year's resolution for what? Next year?
My New Year's resolution.
The most important thing you want for 2024, baby.
Go to network. The out of stuff. I had a meeting with BMG labels and I have another meeting following up, meeting with them in the beginning of January. Basically, New Year's goal is to be a famous fucking musician.
So get sponsored.
Sponsored.
How many songs you have out right now? Yeah, because I went on Spotify and you had like two or three published.
I have one, and I have one cover. I have one original. One cover. Because Cover Nation, which is this thing. They want me to do a cover of the song. But I'm working. I thought I want to finish my album.
Yeah. I have so many.
I have so many songs, and it's just.
I have to finish release album next year.
Yeah. Oh, yeah. I'm releasing an album next year. 100. And then I either am going to get signed next year or decide if I want to be independent. Yeah. My goal next year is to blow the fuck up.
You'll be. By the end of next year, you'll be almost 18.
That's why I'm saying I need to blow the fuck up, and I will.
Yeah.
Parker, what's your New Year's resolution? 2024. Most important thing that happens for you next year. What do you think it is?
Probably make a 20k a month.
Oh, nice.
That's about it. I'm like, okay, I know. I said on another podcast I'd be a millionaire. I'm realizing how big of a hill that is.
So you're like, give yourself realistic goals.
Yeah, let's. Let's stop wishful thinking. So I'm like, yeah, if I could get 20k right now, I'm at 85.
So, yeah, 20k a month in the business. Consistent, predictable.
Yep.
Awesome. Ruby, 2024, big target for you. What are you thinking? Cool thing you want to have happen for you next year, Babe?
I don't know.
It's your last year of junior high, and then you'll be in high school.
No, it's not. She has eighth grade.
I'm in seventh grade.
Yeah, she has eighth grade.
What do you guys all think of ninth grade?
High school.
Yeah. So I said, she has one more year.
Oh, yeah.
And this year.
Oh, yeah.
Well, this year only has, like, what, five months left?
So what are you thinking, baby? Babe?
2024, super healthy hair. I don't know.
No, my hair is not that healthy.
Hair.
I don't know anything. You want to learn more ice skating? You want to have a Snapchat boyfriend or.
4.
4. Going to play the field.
Just one.
What? No, one and one.
Always don't turn to ho.
Always.
All right, mom, what's yours?
I honestly don't usually set New Year's resolutions. I set quarterly goals. And sometimes, like, for me, I'm like, oh, I missed the mark on that. That quarterly goal, meaning, like, I'll get to the end of the year and feel like I should have accomplished so much when I realized, like, I didn't time my goals correctly. And so instead of, like, being like, oh, I'm just gonna scratch those goals and start new ones, it's like, like, okay, well, the goals I didn't do, it's because, like, I went a different direction. But also some of the goals I thought I would have hit this year probably won't be done until, like, January, February. So I'm like, that is my goal is always, like, it's never, like, New Year's resolutions. It's always, like, I always want to be, like, growing and learning and not put, like, a specific, like, oh, I'm going to read 20 books. This next year, I'm going to do this. It's like, I always want to be moving and growing and learning, Learning, like always. My goal is to always evolve so I don't ever. When people ask, like, what are. What are your targets for next year? I'm like, keep working, keep hustling, keep growing, never be stagnant. So the only goal that I had really, even, like, considered was doing that. The show in April.
Are you doing it?
I am. I.
Now you're backing out?
No, I think I'll do it. Yeah. I Feeling pretty solid about, like. Like, I've been playing around with my nutrition and stuff and, like, seeing progress. The reason I wouldn't commit before is, like, I felt like I was doing things and, like, nothing was shifting in my body, and I was like, shit. And so that's a scary place to be. Cause you're like, I'm committing to something, and I'm not. I'm doing everything I know how to do, and I'm not getting results. But the reality is I wasn't being honest with myself and what I was doing. I wasn't doing the diet perfectly. So then I was like, my body's not budging. And then I was like, you're lying to yourself. And so now I have to get in a place of, like, I will do the show if I'll commit to being honest to myself, Right? Because if I can be honest in my goals, then I know that they will happen because I was honest. Like, I, like, said, I'm gonna eat this. I'm gonna do this. And, like, I do it. But if I lie to myself, then I. I don't even want to set that goal or that target. So I'm just trying to decide if I'm gonna be honest with myself. If I asked Parker if he's gonna do fitness, he's, like, in a space where he's like, I don't know if I'm gonna be honest with myself in doing the diet. Could you do it? Sure. But if you're being honest with yourself, you're like, I don't know if I want to.
If I'm being honest.
I just want to.
Look, I need to take a. Oh, my gosh. Why do you say that? It's so gross. Why do you be a lady?
If I could just make money.
My. My New Year's resolution is simple. I have impossible games. Cross body being balance in business. Why? Because I'm structured like that. You think this castle showed up because we played Thumb Wars? No. Amidst all of that. What my most exciting one is though, is the project. So I name all my Impossible Games projects. These projects are impossible. My project that I am most excited about is imbalance. And the project name. Are you ready for it? Devour the Queen. That is the project name. Devour the Queen. This is a physical, mental, spiritual, emotional devouring of my wife in 2024.
That makes me a little sweaty. Like you should be. I like to have my space.
You should be sweaty. It's coming at you. Yeah.
You're going to wake up every morning, he's going to be like sitting there with a cup of tea.
Physical, mental, spiritual, social, Every angle. Devour you.
No, I would just like, not. I would just like you to be here more.
Cuz I'm like, devour you.
We've had this conversation so many times. I'm like, why be married if you just want your bills paid? Like, I want somebody who like has flexibility to like spend time with me and not devour me, but could devour you.
We don't know you want to be devoured.
Okay.
Look at you. You're kind of even getting a little flush over this whole devouring process.
Okay, you're done.
You're gonna be devoured in 2024. Okay, we're gonna wrap this show up now. The mom's on fire. To be devoured in 2024.
I'm scared now. Maybe I won't do the fitness competition.
You don't have to. I'll devour you. Pregnant. I'll devour you. Fitness competition. I'll devour you ever.
He snipped.
But like, no more babies.
I'm sure thing you're snip. Cuz I'm like crazy enough where I for sure kids. I only have five, but like, no but you. But I've been pregnant six times, so I know I get pregnant easy. But I the problem is the babies are not babies anymore. And then like, I like mom for sure get pregnant. I'm like, I need a baby.
Yep.
This is why I'm snipped. All right, well, Parker's off to enter his hoe phase.
Ruby is.
Ruby is consistent in her boyfriend. Bailey is pursuing the music moment. Is pursuing just doing the work. And I'm going to devour the Queen in 2024. So that brings this show to a close. And this is Garrett J. White, the master coach, mentor. Bringing that one back, my friends. That was my brand name back in 2008. 9, 10, and 11. We retired it because we thought it was dumb. And then here we are heading to 2024.
Using it again.
Yeah, we're your trainer. Which has become the focus of Wake up warriors, leading a legion of trainers to build their own coaching businesses, just like I have last decade. And so we brought it back. Garrett J. White, the master coach, mentor.
There you go.
I am the master.
I remember those YouTube days.
And I am the mentor of the master coaches. Welcome to my world project devour the Queen, 2024. Peace.
