Garrett and Danielle White pulled their 15-year-old daughter out of public high school after peer pressure issues, enrolling her in trade training instead. They debate whether traditional school or learning a trade like hair styling builds real financial independence faster.

Okay, what podcast is this? Let's see if you can get it correct this week.
Welcome to the Daily Fuel. Your access point to the warrior's way to have it all.
Well, last week you introduced welcome to.
The merry game podcast.
I'm not sure what whose podcast this is.
Welcome to life on fire.
You should date your wife.
Welcome to date your wife, the podcast. You're almost halfway out of the shot.
I don't know why this.
Do you want to scoot your chair over this way a little bit? You're a little bit out of the shot.
I like it.
You trying to move yourself out of the window in my life or what?
I was just trying to, just trying to turn my brain on this Monday morning.
Oh, well, you've been doing a great job with this parenting thing.
I know I was.
You should be proud of yourself.
I feel pretty solid. My 15 year old daughter was not. She started high school this year and she was in a therapeutic boarding school last year and she started regular high school this year. I was kind of at this point where I'm like, I, like we've tried every kind of schooling with her possible and I was finally like, you're going, you're going to Dana Hills. And it's not the most stand up high school. And not only that, like, I don't know if I'm like a big fan of traditional learning, but I just was.
Like, listen, any high school, stand up.
High schools, I, I do not agree with traditional learning. I think that things are gonna, I think that traditional school, I think things are gonna have a massive shift in the next like few years. I mean they already are, but it's gonna like, there's gonna be two different categories of like school and not school. It's, there's going to be a divide. It's not like there's not going to be school, but less people are going to tolerate the traditional sense of learning. And to be honest with you, like, I always felt like a dummy. Like the traditional sense of learning is not for me. Like I always, in that environment, I felt stupid. Like, how am I going to win in, in an environment that's not a set up? It's set up for the masses, which most of the masses, it's not even set up for them anymore. It's, it's, it's a glorified place to shove your kids so the parents can work.
It's a babysitting facility.
It is, it's not stood up correctly. And then kids are like, it's like, well, we need to socialize them. Well, we need them to have life lessons. Well, I'm sorry, but getting bullied and all this shit that goes on, like, it's almost unnecessary. Like, what happens? Like, some of the shit that happens in high school. Bailey sends me a photo of the boys bathroom. Has, like, a bottle of, like, whiskey in the urinal. She's like, this is the school. Not that she was in the boy's bathroom, but somehow this photo's circulating. She's like, this is the shit I have to deal with. She told me. She was like, she gets up, she rides her bike to grit cycle at 5:45. She does a spin class. She goes to. This is why I decided to. I feel like I'm skipping ahead in.
The story, but I'm like, you're in control. Move forward with the story. You're doing great.
So anyways, long story short, I pulled her out of high school because, like, this is. This is fucking stupid. I put her in there because I was, like, at a loss of hope. I was like, you just need to get up. Like, she was sleeping all day. She was depressed. And I was like, you. I'm like, I don't believe in traditional high school, but you've got to get out of bed. You've got to learn how to, like, get up, have purpose, get to school. Like, be on time for things. Like, that's how life works.
Yep.
And then I. She started to show interest in doing hair, So I immediately was, like, inserted myself.
You did?
But, yeah, my final straw when I pulled her out last week is when she sends me the photo of the whiskey and the urinal. And I was like, yeah, we're done. Like, I can't. I can't. She said that she woke up, went to school.
She.
She had gone to grit cycle. Like, was there doing, like, they were doing a group project. She's like, I was the only one in there doing the work, and these fucking assholes were drunk and making fun of me the whole time. She's like, I just put my headphones on. I was like, I don't need this. And I was like, oh, that's. Yeah, that's rough. So that's where I'm at this morning is.
But, like, so huge win for California public high schools. Just chalking up the wins today. Governor Newsom doing a fucking amazing job. You know what? The thing is crazy, though. What's the option? I mean, people mo. If you look at this, most families right now have two in California have two individuals that have to work just to Pay the bills because of how expensive things are. So you got a. A husband and a wife both working. You have kids that have to go to school because if they don't go to school, what are they going to do? Sit at home all day? You have like the technology sedation that's coming. You have parents that are falling apart individually and collectively. You have a school system that's falling apart. You have an economic system that's falling apart. You have a stock market that's imploding. You have inflation that's rising. You have the market pivoting and changing what it values and what it will pay for and what it won't. Content creation is no longer a media outlet for the newspaper or for the news channels, which are dropping in rankings. Social media platforms are birthing every single week new and organized places for people to gather. Education is more available than it's ever been before. And you can be smarter with a week on fucking YouTube than you could be an actual school from your teachers because you're learning directly master classes from people who have mastered shit.
And.
And most teachers hate their fucking jobs anyways because they become glorified babysitters that have to operate inside of a cancel culture in which there's no possible path for success outside of being a slave inside the system. And then we have to ask ourselves, parents, what the fuck we're doing sending our kids into this shit? And you know what it is? It's because it's what our parents did to us. So there's a piece in us. It's still like, oh, well, you know, I went through that shit. I had to get in fights every other day in middle school. Why don't you have.
Is it necessary?
It's about everybody.
Everybody knows. So worried about, like, socializing your kids. And I'm like, I look at the drama inside of just like junior high and I'm like, but is that necessary to build character? Well, aren't you worried about socializing them? Well, they're going to be talking to adults. They're going to actually be brought up to think they're amazing human beings and that. Like, yeah, like, I look at Ruby because we pulled her out more, homeschooling her right before the junior high window. And I'm like, crushing. She's literally like the sweetest little. Like, she's doing amazing. She's like. I was like, why? Hey, why are we done?
We're done. We're done.
We're done. Like, I think this.
But we said this before and then we sent her to the public school just so that she'd get focused. It was like sending her to get. Get your shit straight.
Well, I literally. I was like, hey, like, we tried homeschool. And she was like, I wouldn't get out of bed, was not doing it. She didn't vibe with her homeschool teacher. And then she just was, like, sleeping all day. And I was like, that's not an option. So I was like, guess what, Dana Hills for you. And then I was like, if you can prove like, that, you can get up and go. But then she started to show interest in hair, and I just. Well, I just took that window, and now she's at home studying to do natural beaded rose. And I'm gonna teach her how to make 10 grand a month before she's 17. And she's gonna take her. She's gonna test out and do her GED when she's 16. She's gonna attend Paul Mitchell School. She's gonna work at my salon. And I hope that works out for her. But what I can tell you is, in the last couple weeks, she's done great. She's working out regularly. She's eating better. What happened? Yeah, what do you mean?
How did it change? I mean, I've been in, like, a thousand yelling sessions.
I was frustrated, and I was like. And I was like, I'm just gonna have boarding school. I don't know what to do. And all of a sudden, it was like.
She pivoted.
She pivoted, but I also. I pivoted. I was like, you know what? What am I fighting for? Like, I'm fighting for her to go to a hole, which I don't really agree with. And I was like, so what I should be fighting for is my daughter. What I should be fighting for is a win. What I should be fighting for is let's find out what will excite her, what will motivate her. And literally I was like, do you want to do hair? I can get you. I can literally teach you how to make, like, 10 grand a month by the time you're 17. Do you have any friends that are making that kind of money? And she's like, you can. And I was like, I'm not saying you can't do music, because she's always like, I'm going to be a famous rock star. I'm like, you should be a famous rock star.
Everybody's pumped about some shit.
But you know what? Like, if. In case you don't become a famous rock star, like, let's Find a trade. Like, I went to hair school because I was like, went to one semester of college and I'm like, oh, I don't know if I want to do this. So I think it's so imperative that kids nowadays are less focused on like a degree. But what's a skill that will pay the bills?
Marketing. Sales, Right? Leadership. If you can get those three things nailed with your kids, teach them how to market, teach them how to sell, teach them how to lead other people. If you can teach them those three things, you can do whatever the fuck they want. Because if you can market, you can generate leads, which means you're always valuable to a business. If you can sell, that means you can close leads to cash, which means you're always valuable to a business. If you can lead, then you're always valuable to a business. So at least in that case, if you're just looking for a job or an executive position or strategic alliance, you can do those three things as an entrepreneur, you can launch a business with marketing, sales, and leadership. I mean, if you know how to market, sell, and lead, you could join any one of a thousand network marketing companies and dominate, right? So it's like, like there, there's a. There's a reality. And we've known that with our kids for a while. I mean, we were teaching Bailey how to reframe reality, which is part of a hard problems. We gave her weapons when she was little, so she figured out how to reframe us constantly. And she finally had a breaking point. I'm happy for her. I told her last night, I said, I don't know what the hell's going on. You should keep doing that though. She's. I was like, you're waking up riding re bike to go do a grit cycle.
You need to get out of bed earlier. She's like, I normally do like an 8am class. She's like, mom, let' do 5:45. I'm like, let's meet in the middle and do a 7:00am Yeah, I like it.
We've come full circle. I genuinely feel an energetic shift. She seems excited and passionate about pursuing hair. And she's also very excited about sending me pictures of a Tesla. Tesla, Tesla, Tesla, Tesla X, Y, whatever it is.
And she's almost 16, so she's super pumped that she's gonna have freedom and driving.
She's wanting a car. How do you feel about getting her a Tesla? She sent me photos of this.
I think that would be a good option for her because I feel like she'll Be that person that's like. Actually, she'll forget to charge. I was gonna say, she'll be that person that'll, like, run out of gas. And then I was like, wait, she'll probably forget to charge her Tesla.
Here's what she told me. It was so funny. It was good. It was good. It was really good. She sent me pictures of. She sent me pictures of her. Here it is. You see this? I mean, it's literally a rose gold. It's like a rose pink. I don't think that's a thing. It's a pink.
It's a pale pink. It's a matte pink Tesla with a rose color.
I mean, I'd never driven a Tesla. It's a Tesla model X. Pearl metal, cherry pink wrap.
Who I'm not for sure not getting.
Here's what she said. This is first car vibes. It's only $2. It's only a $2 fee to charge on a full electric bill. So you would be paying a little more for the car, and it's a.
Hundred thousand dollar car.
Listen. Or reframe. So you'd be paying a little bit more for the car and wrap. But you. But you would be saving thousands and thousands of dollars on gas money. Plus, they're extremely safe cars, dad. Because there's no engine, since it's electric, so there's more room for more safety. No, no, listen. Because there's no engine, so there's. And it's all electric. There's more room for more safety features. I thought you'd really like that as a dad. This. I turned it into a closer, dude. I mean, I'm like halfway clicking buy now. I mean, it's like, all right, I drove that car. I really liked it.
I know.
I really liked that car.
I know. I told her. Well, you want to know why she sent you this text? This is so funny. This is how good she is. I was like. I was like, yeah, dad drove a Tesla in Orlando. He really liked it. He kept talking about maybe getting one. That's all I said. And her little mind was like, I'm.
Gonna ride that straight.
She's like, dad already wants one. If I could just get him to wrap it pink. And she's like, okay, here we go.
The only thing is funny, though, is at least she's learning the power of marketing, which is don't go against the grain. If your dad's going straight, just go that direction and pitch your idea into the thread. I'm happy for her, I think. Listen, my Daughter should dominate. I. I've gotten over this idea.
But you know what? The thing is, is Bailey has this chip where she's like. I'm not gonna lie. At some level, I was the same way. She's kind of like. When I'm like, you should do hair, she's kind of like, I'm. I'm better than a hairdresser. I'm like, do you know how much money I make? I'm like. And then when I literally was like, you can make 10 grand by the time you're 17, she was like, I'll be a hairdresser. I'm like, why is everybody discounting the artist?
Because at the end of the day, they're like, oh, I want to go to school for, like, seven years, get a degree that I can wipe my ass with that makes me no money, and I can start at $18 an hour at McDonald'. Started at $23 an hour with my job after my worthless college degree.
I was. So when we were on this last event.
Yeah.
At the. With Grant Cardone and them on their.
Elena.
Elena and them on their yacht. There was this cute girl, and I can't remember her name, but she does hair. She was pregnant.
Okay, man.
Do you know who I'm talking about? I can't remember her name.
She does hair, and she's pregnant.
She's the cute, pregnant girl that was like. I was just sitting there talking to her for a while, and then she's like, oh, I do hair. I'm like, cool. Me too.
Talking about Brian Page's, like, book launch party, or you talk about the yacht.
No, the yacht party.
We've been on a lot of yachts recently.
The Grant Cardone one.
We've been on two different Grant Cardone yachts. I was San Diego. One of my.
The one in San Diego. The recent one. Oh, recent one.
Oh, man. I'm trying to remember what boat.
It's Monday.
I don't remember what day it is.
It's Monday. I know.
It's too long.
San Diego, last weekend.
That's right. With Pete and Pete and Grant and Brandon.
Anyways, I'm talking to this cute pregnant girl, and she's, like, telling me how she does hair, but she's going to retire and she's going to quit. And I'm like, why are you going to quit? And immediately I'm like. I go into, like, coach mode, and I'm like, so what? How many services do you take? Like, what do you. And I'm like, literally, I'm like, well, she's like, I just really love my clients. So I'm like, yeah, but what are they paying you? Who cares if you love them? Like, I immediately went into, like, coach mode. And then I was like, I'm sorry. I don't. If you're. If you don't want to do hair, that's fine. I did. I was trying to almost make her see the value in, like, not shifting careers, but, like, what? Because I'm like, you can shift careers all day long, but that doesn't mean you're going to have success in this other career. If you can't see success in the current lane that you're at, you're not going to see success in a new lane. You're just shifting lanes because you're bored. Bored. But anyways, I was. I was. As. I was talking to her and coaching her, I was like, she doesn't want to be coached right now. We're on a yacht. I'm gonna just go get a drink and go away.
They're like, you don't want to be coach?
But it's so funny. But going back to, like, how people can find, like, specifically with Bailey, like, people can find success in, like, their current lane and what they're doing, but they don't see it. They're blind to what's in front of them. And they think, well, if I go. It's like, if I go marry this person, I'll be happy. Well, if I go do this job, then I'll be happy. And it's like, if you can't figure it out, like, really, like, look inward. How can you make the tools and the skills that you have? If you're a marketer and a closer, you could. You could literally, like, create a brand off of anything. You could do it with fitness, you could do with music. You could do it with hair. You could do it, whatever. You know what I mean? I do, but you have to believe in yourself in that lane, in that area.
I believed in myself when I met you. You were walking by with a pack of girls in a parking lot, and I shouted out like a direct response marketer. It was pretty simple. Here was a headline. Hey, that's how it started out. Do you know that's an actual strategy in marketing? You go like, hey. Is the subject line. Hey, test it out. It works. No, no, no. Literally, it's a subject line. That's.
Why do you think every influencer is like, hey, hey, guys. Hey, guys.
And I was like, hey. And you all turned, and then I said, it's not too often. Here comes the headline. It's not too often you see a band of beautiful women like this all together.
I think I was annoying.
Sub headline. Giggle, giggle, giggle. That's exactly what the group did. Except for you. You're probably like, what?
I literally. No, I literally was like, what is. That guy's talking. He looks like Ed Ferreira. Garrett had, like, bleach blonde hair that was, like, all spiky.
That guy's badass. So I'm all right. That compare that.
Did you know when we. On our first date, I was like, oh, sad. He's a redhead. Sorry if you're a redhead. But I was like, because you had red facial hair and your hair was bleached out. And I was like, oh, that must be why he bleaches his hair.
Listen, my red facial hair, I had a red beard and then it went. Went brown for a minute and then it went white.
I know. Now you shave it.
It stressed me out. Now you shave it.
You look so much younger when you shave it.
Like, literally when I grow it, I look 10 years older.
That video. Who is it? The chiropractor video? I'm like, Whoa, 65.
Not 60. 65. I'm the hottest 65 year old. Look.
You look at least 55 on that video.
55?
You think you 100% look 55. Like, even I saw it and I was like, really? Oh, he looks so tired.
Well, I did.
This was 10 pounds ago.
Well, here. There were three things. This was 10 pounds ago.
Drinking so much IPAs.
A lot of IPAs. No Botox, no testosterone, and a white, hairy beard. And you were pregnant, and I was sexually frustrated.
God, you looked so sad. I'm sure glad you snapped out of it. I saw your ab video this morning. I'm like, good job. Garrett got him back. I was like, it was rough.
It was. It was a moment. Why?
Why, why is it when women are.
Pregnant, men just go, it's because they're surviving.
There's a rare.
Yeah, I text every guy who's got a pregnant wife. This is exactly what I'm talking about. We need to write a book called what to Expect When Expecting Penis Addition. It's written by men. Two men. Because all women are gonna make fun of it, which is the desert of having a pregnant woman. It's a desert. Now you realize you've created the desert yourself. It's not like you can blame somebody else. Well, somebody else put their penis in my wife and got her pregnant. No, no, no. I mean, I'm sure. Cases that's happened, but it's not our case.
I noticed that men are like. They're.
It's. It's a hard moment. You understand? Like, it's like the end of the world as we know it.
You know what? There's nothing sexy about you when I'm pregnant. And don't take this the wrong way, but it's almost like you go into, like, extra nurturing mode and I'm like, I just need you to. I need. I'm still. I still need. I still got needs.
Yeah, but here's the deal, though. As a guy, and you're like. And you got other kids in a business, plus you get protected. So what happens?
It gets a little weird when you're in. It gets weird, but when you're in the moment, you're like. You're not focused. And then I can't focus.
We've had that. We have the best sex we've ever. Pregnant sex we've ever had in the.
Last one was good. I think you finally let go.
I did finally let go.
I was like, as big as a house just fucking me.
Prior to that, though, it was very weird for me. It was almost like. It's almost like I knew I was walking in on it on an adventure.
I don't feel good, but I feel like I'm an attractive pregnant girl and.
I just figured out all the time.
I couldn't figure it out. Yeah.
But my brain would go into this place of like, ah, but.
But I'm telling you, like, it would. It was almost not attractive because you would be like, are you okay? Is everything. Take, like, you lost, like, the Alpha ness and realize you were trying to, like, be sweet to me. And I was like, just. I remember having this conversation with my last pregnancy. I go, I need you to do me a favor. Don't treat me like I'm pregnant. Just treat me like I'm human. Just treat me like I'm me.
That was hard to do. Wasn't really good at it. That's why I grew the beard.
So scary.
Try to be your dad. Hey, how are you doing, sweetheart?
Please don't ever talk like that again. Don't pull that voice out in any other area.
Oh, that's not a sex voice. Hey, you, get over here. Let me see them little cha chats you got going on.
I got weird.
All right. So, yeah, the pregnancy thing was rough, and it's rough for guys and we don't know how to operate. And it's not like you're just like doing the same thing. It's not like you're busting out, yeah, we're done.
We're done having children.
We're done, we're done. And in the spirit of being done.
Wasn'T it funny yesterday when we were driving home, we have all four girls in the car and Garrett picked me up from the airport and there's like two kids screaming, One kid's got a cold. The teenager like Bailey just talks over every, everybody, everyone. She, it's so funny. There could be so much chaos and she'd be like, oh my God. And then this guy DM me. And she just sits and she just talks and talks.
She's good. That's what a teenager does.
And so we look at each other and he goes, you know, we did this to us.
We did this, we did this to ourselves. Baby's crying, toddler's coughing. The 11, 11 year old's trying to nurture. She's singing to the baby.
And Bailey's trying, oh my God. And then this guy. And then I was like. And then, you know, Bailey's favorite line is like, mom, were you even listening? I'm like, I don't know if she thought I was listening. I was like, amongst all that noise, I love that she thought I was just listening to her. My teams were making fun of me in the meeting this morning because like I'm supposed to film these sales videos today. And I'm like, God, Katie just seems really mad at me today. What is going on? And she finally turns around and goes, danielle, did you read what I put in slack? I'm genuinely concerned you don't know how to read. She didn't actually say that. She goes, I'm just thinking maybe you didn't read. And I go, katie, I'm gonna be honest with you. Yesterday I was in Utah, it was my parents anniversary. I had my toddler on my hip and I'm trying to read this very important sales copy while talking, trying to entertain my parents, taking them to brunch. I'm like, I didn't have any like help with me. I mean I had like my other kids. And she's like, that's when you pass the baby off. I'm like, even amongst passing off the baby, I'm like, there was a lot going on, so I'm going to have a moment of honesty. I don't think I read. She's like, oh no. I was like, well, at least you were honest. I was like, I, I, I'm just gonna own up. I'm like, yeah, just. I committed to do. To filming a training on a Monday in which I knew I need like a full day to really prep myself. And I don't. I didn't have a full day. I came straight home from yesterday into family chaos, into, like waking up and to work out. I'm like, damn it. I didn't set myself up for success. I committed to film today and I should have committed to filming tomorrow. So I had all day to prepare today.
Are you filming today?
I am. I'm still doing it.
All right, well, get it done.
I'm going to get it done.
I got a lot of shit going on too. And, yeah, notice it. It makes. It makes my brain. My brain starts breaking.
My brain just feels foggy.
Just. We've traveled too damn much.
I don't like it, like, when people say comments like, did you read? I'm like, I think.
I think I did.
I don't think I.
Maybe I didn't read.
Maybe I didn't read. And they're looking at me like I'm kind of special. And I'm like, I need you. If you. I just need you to live in my shoes for a week with four children and what I have going on. Instead of looking at me with those judging eyes, I just need you to live in my shoes for a minute.
Here's the thing. It's crazy. If you look at. If you look at my inbox, in my email, in my slack, I have 432 messages in my Warrior app, I have 65 in my email. I have 82,000 emails that are not been read in my text. I have like seven every single day. It's just like a bombardment. And it's weird. I don't get in a place where I try to use that as an excuse so much as I sit in these moments where I'm like, people who are single, who have no children and they're not married on the team or strategic partners are like, hey, when are we gonna get this thing? And I'm like.
Like, just the amount of pressure alone.
I appreciate where you come from. I'm not going to yell right now. I'm just going to listen. And I'm appreciating where you're coming from. I appreciate your single life. It's probably real rough on the Bumble this weekend. Probably difficult to put the dog in the crate this morning.
But you're like, if I blow up on him, I'm not going to get what I want. So I'm just going to sit here and listen, suck it up and just.
Kind of sit here.
And then I'm going to breathe.
Then I'm going to do some deep breathing.
I'm going to surrender to the team.
I'm going to say, what the am I doing? Should have worked at the fucking sandwich shop. You know the thing you'd be nice about being super broke and doing nothing? You don't want to know the nice thing about not having a lot of money and not having a lot of shit going on?
Low expectations.
Yep, low expectations. So when you wake up and you're like, what do I got today? Got a fucking shift between 10 and 3 over at the. Do you think people sandwich shop.
Do you think.
What else you got? Not a goddamn thing. Probably can get high tonight. I'm fucking. I'm just gonna get. I wake and bake, bro. I'm just gonna get fucking baked right now. Wake and bake. Nobody can do this afternoon.
Level of consciousness.
Oh, shit, the waves are in. Let's go fucking mash, bro.
Yeah, but who's to say they're not happy? Do you think they're not happy?
I'm not saying they're not happy. I said, half of me wants to do that shit.
But it is a lower level of, like, consciousness, right?
You'd have to get dumber.
You would have to.
You'd have to get dumber.
You've gone too far down the path, Garrett. We can't get dumber.
You can. It's called dumb and dumber. You'd have to sell yourself out, though.
We can't get dumber. But we could stay at the dumb level we're at. Or we could like, we're already.
We're super dumb.
We're dumb, but we've done a lot less dumb. So if you're dumb and you're listening to this, just know there's greatness around the corner. You, too can have it all.
If you're like, 21, working at a sandwich shop, good job. If you're 45 working a sandwich shop, what the fuck are you doing?
Well, maybe they're happy.
Yeah. Again, the problem is, if you become the 21 year old who becomes a 45 year old at the sandwich shop.
I think that at that point, they think it's too late, and so they're like, this is where I'm at. It's like, oh, you know what?
Some people think it's Too late at.
23, I was gonna say, even, like, I. I remember, like, you're with your. Our parents. Like, I remember thinking like, why do they. Like they're 60, but they were almost acting like they were almost dead. My mom got a little revived.
This last mom got revived.
My mom like went and got her 70. She went and got like her boobs done, her face done. I was like, mom, my dad's like, you got a boyfriend I don't know about? She's like, I will if you don't. I think my mom was all of a sudden like feeling tired and then she's like, I'm, I'm only 70, I'm not tired.
I'm not gonna die.
I'm not tired. Yeah, so I think like your mom got spicy throwing the towel too early.
They're like, dad kind of threw the towel in.
Well, he's been like, well, it was like when my mom had like Covid and everything back to back and then, and she had her knees replaced and then all of a sudden she started feeling better and all of a sudden she was like, whoa. Like is the minute she started feeling better is when she went and had all those surgeries. I think she was like, whoa, life's, life's not over yet. You know what I mean?
Your mom looks great, I think. But if your mom was a single woman on the market right now, she's a hot.
Gail is a hot piece.
She's a hot piece of ass.
Just kidding. My mom's a hot piece.
I'm not saying, I, I'm not saying like as a 46 year old, as her son in law, I'm thinking that, I'm thinking if she's on the market as a 70 year old woman, that's a hot woman.
She's like, she's still working.
She's your mom. You're hot as.
Of course they're selling homes and closing deals.
Your sister's listening is right now doing the audio notes on this part, this show. Caitlyn, you know your mom's hot ass. So like legit like is why I look at your dad. I'm like, your dad kind of, your dad kind of is like throwing in the towel, trying to show up and seduce. He's been a little hurt though.
He's been so. It's like, it's like once he gets better, hopefully he picks up the fire.
At his seven year old birthday. I was like, what the hell, Dave? He looks so good. He was on fire.
How many times do you think that people are like, oh, I'm 30, life's over. And they like kind of are like, well, I haven't figured out so and then all of a sudden they blink and they're like, well, I'm 40. And then it gets to this point where, like, I'm not going to do anything. I'm just going to work at the sandwich shop, right? Like, it's never too late. Like, I actually really liked Sean Whelan's speech at the last event. I haven't seen him for a while and I was like, oh, good for you. And this is like a funny story because you and Sean are cool now. And I blocked him, like, years ago. And I don't think I've actually unblocked him. So I haven't really followed him his message. But I, like, was like, I really liked his messages. He's like, hey, you got up today. Like, count your blessings in the sense that, like, you, God gave you another day. And I was like, oh, that puts such a great perspective on things. Because I think a lot of times what we do is like, we have a shitty day or a shitty moment, and we let that cascade into, like, a shitty week, a shitty month, a shitty year, a shitty decade.
Wow.
And all of a sudden you're like, when? And you have a wake up moment, right? But if you look at every day as a new day, you're like, okay, I got highest balls last night and I'm feeling kind of shitty about it. So why don't I stop getting highest balls? And why don't I try to like, just today commit to not getting high as balls and be productive with my day? And then you wake up the next day and you're like, wow, that felt really good. Okay. And then what happens is every day compounds on on itself. And that's how you truly make a change, and that's how you pick up momentum. So people think like, oh, I'm stuck in this place, I'm stuck at the sandwich shop. You don't understand. Like, you don't understand. Like, I do understand. We were all given an opportunity with a body to create and do whatever we want. You're choosing to live your body, this experience in this way. And I honestly think this is my general feel of this world. I feel like this world is actually far easier than who and where we're going. Like, if you can't figure out your shit here, you're kind of fucked. Like, literally. I just keep getting this impression, like, you think this is hard. This is the starting point, this is easy. Like, you have no idea who you can become. But if you can't handle a basic day in this fleshy body, it's not going to happen.
You're starting to sound like, oh, my God. After they journeyed the first time, everybody has that same kind of awakening to this idea that life, it's interesting. Like the veil between now and then seems to disappear in plant medicine and there's this awakening to this very real sense that this is not only not the beginning, this is not the end, and that what we're doing here in this experience echoes in the game that we're moving into. Yet we're already in the game we're moving into.
It's like, it's different realms, It's a level of consequences.
Four dimensional chess happening and you're down here playing checkers on earth, but really, if you played the game up, you're playing chess like four dimensions up.
This gave me chills. But do you know how I interpret when I say, like, I heard this voice come down and talk to me and everyone interprets like I'm like things differently to me. I'm like, that is my. That is my more educated, my higher. I always talk about as my higher self because I feel so connected to this voice. And my interpretation is like, that's the evolved Danielle telling you fucking move. Go. She knows. She knows where you need to go and she's here to guide and direct and lead you. And that might sound kind of crazy because everyone's like, oh, well, God told me. Like, I believe in God, but I also feel so connected to this person that I've always been. And she's always on my side because she fucking knows me. Because she's always been me. She's been through everything with me. She knows when I'm taking a left, when I should take a right. Like, so this is like, for me, I just am like, oh, like my higher self just told me, like, this is where you need to go. And guess who I trust? I really trust her because she's always been me. I mean, so not to take it real deep, but like talking in the.
Show right now, I mean, that was like. I follow. That's like incredible. That was like. That was very deep. That was very powerful.
Yeah, I just like, I think it. I think if you, if you don't like the word God, if you don't like this, like, do you trust yourself? Do you trust like the higher version, the highest version of yourself? Because she'll never steer you wrong. She knows you and I. And like I said, there's like something where to me, obviously I'm human. I don't have a big scope of Everything. Nobody really does, right? Nobody really does. So you have to take the path in which is your correct path. And I feel like the only way to kind of experience this higher version of yourself is through helping other people and really discovering yourself, like discovering who you are and what you can do.
So this speech that you just gave, which is beautiful, is around this idea of freedom. And that's like listening to your voice is pulling you forward into this new place. I've really been, like, passionate about this idea of freedom for the past, like, nine months or so. Didn't realize I was really passionate about it for a decade, but had no. Actually for multiple decades. Just didn't know that's what I was pursuing. But it's interesting because I feel like I'm entering this third stage of freedom. Like, freedom, number one is moving away from shit you don't want. And me and Danielle spent like, a long time. We spent a lot of years moving away from shit we didn't want. Then it was like phase two, which is having the courage to now, once you've moved away from what you don't want, which is always easier to be clear about. I don't want this in my marriage. I don't want to experience this in my money. I don't want to experience this in my family. I don't want to experience this in my body. And then moving towards what you do want, which is totally different when you're pursuing something at a peak that you desire versus running away from the pain in a pit. And that we spent a lot of our life moving into. And then the last year to two years has been a bit of this weird fucking game for me because it's like this place of we got it. It's like we got everything we wanted. And now that we got everything we wanted, there's this new level of freedom opening up, which is the freedom to be. And this means freedom to be with or without any of it. Can I be free with the money? Can I be free without it? Or am I now just attached to this new thing that I've created? And like, Buddha talked about this, like, years ago when I was studying this back in 2008, 9 to 10, back when I thought it was completely against any belief in God to study Buddhism or Hinduism, but I did. And finding out that that was not the case. That was a message constantly. Christ gave the message of the straight and narrow gate. Buddha talked about Dharma or the Middle way, and that there was this powerful place that you could arrive as a human being between Pain and pleasure, and it was ultimate power. And Christ talked about this narrow gate that very few people would enter in, and that there was this reality that we were pursuing between these two things. What we don't want, what we do want, and then this freedom up above both. And so people will say, like, well, you know, I want to. I want this, or, I want that. I want that, but they've never gotten it. Or, oh, I don't need those things. I was like, it's easy for you to say you don't want it or you don't need it because you can't get it and you don't have it, right? So it's like, oh, I don't. I don't need that shit. Well, you can't get it. Of course you say that you can't get it. You don't know if you want the jet because you can't buy a jet, right? You don't know if you want the house because you can't get it. It's easy to sit in a small box. You don't need it because you don't.
Believe in yourself enough to believe that you can have that or feel worthy to have that. So you can say you don't need it all day long, but the truth is, you don't feel worthy in who you can become and who you've always been and who you. Who you're supposed to be.
I was sitting in. I was having a moment with the cars, right? So, like, when I first got the Lamborghini Aventador and the G Wagon, I was feeling like. I felt like it was like a rapper for who I was, but at the same time, I felt like it kind of was identifying me, too.
Giving you almost like you got this.
It was giving me status, But I also know I needed to shift. I was moving into this being. So, like, when you were pregnant in the summer last year, I sold both cars. Horrible timing when I sold them, because I sold them, and it was like the peak of all these cars exploding in value, but I sold them. And then I got this Rolls Royce Ghost and a Lincoln Navigator suv.
But didn't you feel like almost like you. Not to say like the car made you, but you were like. It was kind of showy and then super showy, and now you're like, wait, like, I think there's this piece that you don't realize you are showy, but.
Just walking down the road, I'm showy.
Even my 19, you are showy. Yeah. I was like, everything about you get on stage, and you're like a performer. You are showy. But you didn't. You didn't. You were. People get so in the sense of, like, people start to make money and they sometimes do the opposite thing. They're like, oh, I gotta be. I gotta be humble. And I don't wanna show my success. I don't want people to know I've had success. I can't contribute buying things to having success. And it's like you have success for a reason. Not to say that, like, tangible things are important, but it's almost like a benchmark, right?
It's like, I remember money's a benchmark of winning in business. And it's just like everything. People are like, people don't wanna keep score if they don't. The only people who don't wanna keep score are people who do. Who suck. People who are great at something, wanna keep score. People who don't wanna keep score, people who don't wanna be held accountable to results. It's like individuals coming to me and being like, well, I can't get the. You know, like, during all of the Black Lives Matter riots and during all of the race riots that were going on, I had all kinds of people, different color, coming to me. And we were having conversation about business. And I. And I'd known some of these guys for a long time, and I asked them a simple question. Is the reason you do not have the results that you want in business because you're black or you're brown? Like, I'm just asking you. I've known you for a while, and this is the first time this topic is coming up in our relationship. You've never brought it up in seven years I've known you. And here we are now it's a topic on the table. And now you want to talk about being black and brown with me. And I'm okay with that. But I got a serious question for you as a white man. Here's my question. Are your lack of results currently in money and business that you have shared with me for years, are they because you're black and brown? And are my results because I'm white? If that's the way you see it, tell me that's the way you see it. But I'm not. I don't know. I'm asking you this question. And they both had both situations, was Latin guy and a black guy. And both sitting there having that. That reality with me and pondering that question. And they both were kind of quiet. And I said, you and I both fucking know. It has nothing to do with your color of your skin. You won't market the way you're supposed to market. You won't take a bold stand in the marketplace and say what you need to say. You won't consistently do it. And that has nothing to do with you being black or brown. That has to do with the fact that you won't fucking do what's required. And it's interesting because the more I get around this game, it's less about race, it's less about nationality, it's less about religion. More and more and more, I'm finding there is a deep divide between people who do what the fuck is required and people who do not, and people who do what the fuck is required. It doesn't seem to matter what your color skin is. We were around powerful black men, Latin men, Asian men, white men this last couple weeks in all kinds of different environments. And the one thing that bonded us all sitting at the table is everybody at that table knew you were a producer. That's it. Like, everyone at the table was an eight figure builder. And you're like, I respect the fuck out of you. Don't care if you're black, don't care if you're white, don't care if you're Latin, don't care if you're Asian. I respect you because you do shit.
I don't even see any. I, like you said, I just see it as like, you're a producer. I'm like, cool out. I don't even see it.
Oh, you didn't even write. You didn't even realize until people told you that you even had black doll heads that were used for practicing natural beateros and DKW styling.
Even though that was happening, I didn't realize it. I was like, oh. I was like, oh. I didn't realize in my own training team when all this stuff came up, I was the only. Did you know I was the only white person on my training team?
I was the only white person.
I was like, oh. I never saw it that way. I saw producers, players and trainers, and that's why I brought them on my team. And then. And I was like, I didn't. Yeah, I was like, I didn't even see it that way. I felt like the whole, the whole movement, like, it made me more, like, aware. I was like, oh, now I'm aware. I wasn't really aware before for sure, which is positive. Yeah. I was gonna say it wasn't like a negative thing.
No, My point in my point of bringing it all up, though, is that, like, that we want to. Like, human beings want to fuck around with all these baseline topics, like, these things that don't matter because it gives them a reason to not rise. It's like. It's like you want to fuck around with your logo design instead of work on a sales copy. You want to around about, you know, dealing with what happens with your taxes when you make 10 million when you haven't even made 500,000. Like, I want to get a. I want to get a estate planning, and you don't even have a fucking market. It's like everybody's stuck in this game trying to solve the wrong problems.
I think, though, sometimes it becomes down. It comes down to, like. Like, you just have to go sometimes, right? You have to trust that you'll figure it out along the way, and you have to be willing to do the work along the way because, like, you might figure some things out along the way and be like, oh, that's really hard. And you might kind of, like, backpedal a little bit, or in sense, you find something that's kind of hard, and you might be like, okay, I've got to figure this out. I've got to get into the trenches. I've got to do these things that maybe I'm not really good at. But then when you start to understand things and get good at things, that's really how you progress. Like, it's not like you're just going to naturally be like, oh, I love this. This hard work is so much fun. This success is so much fun. Like, it is fun, but it's not always fun.
Not always fun. I'm in marriage. It's not always fun. It's hard. And having kids is not always fun. It's hard running a business. I feel like I've been with you.
I feel like I've been with you a lot, but I feel like I. Like, we've been so busy that I'm.
Like, I'm telling you right now, we.
Just go on a date.
Like, well, last night you were like.
I was like.
You were. You were literally flashing to girls. You were saying, come after me.
And I'm like, mad. I'm like. I'm like, babe, like, it's our window. Why do you do this? Garrett does this thing. I'm just gonna share this with you guys. He acts like it takes 45 minutes to lock up the house.
It's a big fucking house.
It takes. The funny thing is just so you know.
Yeah.
I was like, I'm gonna go. It's like 9:30. I go to bed like, 10, because I'm an old lady. And I was like, okay, I'm. Now's my window. Now's my window. I'm like, I'm gonna even lock the downstairs so he can't, like, tell me it took him 45 minutes to lock. So you're like, putting the baby to bed. You put her to bed. I'm like, babe, I flash him. I'm like, let's go.
You heard me. I was singing sweet songs to my baby.
So. Okay, but what I. My point is, like, literally, I'm almost asleep by the time you come up. Why do you. What are you doing? Are you around on your phone? Are you giving yourself a facial? What is going on down there?
Well, I'll tell you what happens.
These are amazing boobs. I just had them redone. I'm like, I don't know how to get more naked right now.
Well, right now you'd have to take your top off.
I'm not going to get naked right now. But my point is, what are you doing in the basement? Are you. What are you doing?
I'll tell you exactly what happens.
His bathroom. Just so you guys know, his bathroom and his closet are not in our bedroom. They're in a whole section first.
Here we go. You've been out, banished from the master bedroom. You do not have a closet. You do not have a toilet. You do not have a. I don't to want.
Want. And I don't want to share a bathroom. And our last house had two bathrooms. This one only has one. I'm not sharing a bathroom with you. You are the messiest human being on the entire world. When you brush your teeth, it's like you're a toddler painting, like, with a toothbrush on the mirror. I don't. Why do you. What are you painting? Why do you need. I don't understand how somebody brushes their teeth that aggressive. You don't even have half your teeth.
Oh, I know. Well, I mean, obviously it's not working. I've been brushing my teeth, lost my bottom teeth have a denture and have veneers on the top. So this whole brushing thing, well, it.
Shouldn'T take 45 minutes to brush your goddamn teeth.
Listen, when I was a teenager, I had acne. It was a bad situation. I felt very self conscious about it. Such a lightweight. I washed my face every single night. And I was very passionate about it. And I cannot go to bed without washing my face, period. I can't go to bed without brushing my teeth either. It feels weird. You, on the other hand, can do both. Me, I cannot do it. Can I go to bed without it? It's like I can't do it. So I, when you when usually like coming to put on the moves, I want to come up, put on the moves and go to bed right after with you instead of come up, put on the moves and then have to go do on the 15 minute routine. So I'm stuck between the rock and hard.
It's like a wipe down. It's a brush teeth. That's like a three minute ordeal.
Let's walk through what happens.
Ladies.
We got a lot of doors to lock. Number one, number two, you gotta. Once you lock said doors, which you leave two or three open every time you pretend you and all the nannies are the worst, you're like, oh, we're not gonna Harold. Yeah, you did. Except for the back door gaping wide open with the sliding door. So people come right in and just, you know, kill us while we're sleeping. So anyways, I lock all the doors up, then I have to wash my face with all the products you've got me. It's like a 17 step process. Now you want me to stay young. I got to do the exfoliator. Then I got to do the, then I got to do the, the night lotion. And then I got to put the lotion on top of the night lotion. And then once I do all that, then I got to strip my clothes off, put my denture in the thing. I got to put the soaking tablets. I'm not flexing.
I think you're literally like taking selfies. You're like, I saw your selfie this morning. You literally were like, I'm not the fittest, but look at my abs. I'm like, and you know what's so funny? Bailey shows this to me. She goes, dad or she goes, dad has a filter. He has a girl. He has a girl filter on here. He has the golden hour filter. Yes, you did. You go look at your ab photo. You literally have the golden filter that you tease me about all the time because it makes you look tan. Here you are flexing your abs.
That's right.
Using the golden filter while you're exfoliating your balls or something else. I don't even know anymore. I don't know what's going on down there. I'm. I'm just going to start going to bed. You don't get to see the girls anymore. You're on timeout of the girls, go exfoliate your balls.
Oh, God. That is too much. Okay, so.
Okay, this show's done. I got to get to work.
Holy shit. Well, this is. Yeah, many of those.
I got so many visuals.
I just never once thought about exfoliating my balls.
I'm never.
Are you just wanting them real clean so you can flay them or what?
I just was, like, looking for you to extend your routine. I'm like, if you're gonna polish, polish in the right area, at least make it smooth. It's chafing.
Oh, shaping. You're too funny.
Oh, God.
All right, this show's crying a little bit.
That was so funny.
Wow. Okay.
All right, so for those.
Listen, if you listen to this show and you're confused about why I said my mother in law was a hot piece of ass, well, you know what? There's a lot of fucking confusing shit that happens on this show. But if there's one thing that you can remember listening to this show anytime that you do listen to it, it's very simple. I'm fucking Batman. The end.
Oh, my God.
Goodbye.
That's how we're ending it. All right. I hope you guys found some value in this podcast again. I'm Danielle, the creator of Natur be to Rose, married to this guy.
Who exfoliates is balls.
Stay tuned for next week's episode.
