All right, you guys, welcome to the date your wife podcast. We are in a new environment. We're on the beach. Welcome.
Welcome to the beach.
And we have some pretty cool people here. This is actually not our studio at all. So I'm going to let Garrett take over and introduce where we are at and what we are doing.
We have hijacked the Driven studios here in West Hollywood. If you're trying to get here from Dana Point, California, plan on three hours stop to go piss halfway through. And you might have to send help for some food if you get starving along the way. But we arrived, it was an amazing experience. We did some interviews here earlier today, got a tour of the amazing compound that exists here for the Driven team. It's not actually driven, but we've discussed it. Everything here should be driven. So we're going to start right off with a question for Albert as we get started. Is Driven a sexual position for you too?
Oh, my God.
Like, is this a, Is this a move? Do we have a sex move called Driven?
I have my, I have my, my Driven. It's kind of like a scissor hold, but it's Driven sister hold.
It's not, it's so Seal is not driven. This is. You wouldn't be supporting this as a driven move.
Driven kids.
Your kids were the result from Driven.
The Driven Scissor holding.
Driven scissor hold. I love it. Okay, so do we have a sex move called Driven?
I, I, I don't want to label it, no.
But tonight we're going to create one. We're staying here overnight, not here in the offices, but we are going to create a driven sex move tonight.
Podcast, like straight with, like, what's your favorite position?
Especially with, with the tequila and the, and the champagne. I think it's be a good fit.
It's going to be a good, it's going to be a good combination. Okay, so we have, again, we have hijacked the studios here. And normally we do this show by ourselves, but over the last month or two, we've had this amazing opportunity of bringing other couples into the show. So I said, hey, let's come down to a double show. We have a powerhouse Latino couple from LA running mortgages, real estate, banking, coaching events, the adult film industry. No, that part's not real. Which is out of that part in there. That's Albert's past.
Driven, Driven porn.
Driven porn dot com. That for sure. Domain is taken.
Your strip club.
That's your strip club.
I've been wanting to have get a driven, driven Strip club.
Yeah, that would. Out of work. Driven. Driven for.
Driven for driven men that want to go to the strip club.
Okay, so are you ready? You ready for the big question? Okay, so we're going to start right off here with this. You two work together. You have three beautiful children. What is the thing as a woman that frustrates you the most about Albert as a father? Like, if you look at this as, like, Danielle, and I'm gonna have Danielle. You can think about it for a second. I have Danielle throw me under the bus here first so that you've got a chance to do it. And Albert knows that he's in safe place because I'm not perfect in this. Danielle, where. Where do you feel like over the years, I've fallen short? Comes to showing up as a father for the kids. We got four girls. They got three girls. That's seven girls. It's a lot of girls.
Here is where I actually think you're a really good father. So just, like, you're very connected with our kids. I know you love them. Like, there's no question that you. There's no question there. Like, you love our kids. I feel like I get irritated when Garrett tries to parent over my parenting because I'm like, I need you to know I'm home more. I'm the boss, and I've told the kids, like, what to do and how to do it. And then you're like, yeah, you can. Whatever. Mom said that it's fine. And I'm like, I'm going to murder you. Like, I set the rules, and you just, like, you. You disobeyed the rules. Like, so I've had to tell Garrett. I'm like, can I love you, but can you not parent? I'm like, you know, and it's weird because I'm like, I want to co parent, but also because I'm home more with the girls and the nannies and the schedules and all that thing. I'm like, you're, like, messing up my rhythm. You know? Like, you're. I'm. I'm like, the. I'm organizing everything, and you're like, messing up my rhythm. So I'm like, so instead, when the kids come to you and they ask you something, I need you to respond to say, hey, what did mom say? I'm like, that's all I'm asking. Because then. Then.
How funny.
Are you ready? I mean, that was a warm up. She got you. She's being nice about it, too, because I don't get the nice behavior about This.
I know. It's because we're on a podcast. Yeah. So, honestly, for me, again, Albert's an amazing dad. I was honestly concerned when I found out I was pregnant, because I was like, shit. Like, once we have a kid, that's it, you know? And I had a horrible childhood. So for me, choosing a good father for my kids was always one of my priorities. Right. So with him, he's an amazing dad. I'm literally shocked that he's so good and he's more patient than I am. But one thing that I've told him, I'm like, hey, put your phone down. And let's be honest, most of us, when you have a phone in your hand, we asked Ed Milette because we did a podcast with him, and, like, what's one thing that, you know, you. If you could. You could go back or take it back? And he said, I would put my phone down when I'm with my kids. You know, when you really put that into perspective, we're all kind of addicted to our phones, which is kind of scary. I mean, I can go into different rooms without my phone. He, for the most part, can't. You know, I tell him, like, put your phone down sometimes, you know, because I'm the boss at home. He's like, ask your mom. Like, he's so. He does really good in that department. But sometimes, like, I tell him because I spend more time. Quality time with the girls. You know, Obviously, we have nannies and a lot of help because I'm always working, but when I'm with the girls, I'm with the girls.
Yeah.
You know, and he'll be like, FaceTiming. I'm like, well, I don't have my phone, you know, because he's trying to tell me something. But also, I. We have different roles, so I kind of let him run with his roles and I run with mine. But I'm the boss. He knows. Ask your mom. Because there's been a couple times I had to chew them out. I'm like, no, they cannot have a brownie and ice cream for breakfast. Because then he takes off. He's like, I'm gonna go with so and so to Hotel Bel Air. I'm gonna go have a business meeting with Chris. I'm like, okay, go with Chris and go have your business meeting. And I'm totally cool with that. But I'm like, you gave them brownies and ice cream, and I'm here. And I'm like, oh, my God.
Like, because they're wild sugar high, you.
Know, exactly what I'm talking about. You don't give little kids too much sugar. Even the healthy popsicles have a little bit of sugar, you know. But he'll let them eat whatever.
Like, are you pumping them up with this sugar? In the morning, he is this like breakfast time. Pump him up. Well, it's like a pre workout you're giving him.
No, no. Well, that's my, my, my strategy to be able to leave the house. Because in the, in the mornings, in the mornings, like I'm trying to leave. Yeah, I have to go, I have to come to the office. And then my. And then we have our full time nanny, you know, that's there. And then we have a housekeeper. We have a lot of help. So the kids, the girls won't, they don't like it when I leave. When we leave. So she, she'll leave, I leave. So then you know how it is. They start like, my girls start crying and they, they hug my legs and they're like, please don't go to work. Please don't go to work. I'll be good. I'll be good.
I'll do whatever.
I won't be on my iPad. Don't leave me. Don't leave me. It's. And it's the little one. Well, she's starting to get like that too.
Al's the youngest and 10.
10, 11 months. 11 months.
You had a baby less than a year ago.
So wild.
You look fantastic.
How that happened?
Good job.
Thank you.
Good job, Mom. Power your back and killing it.
And, and so the I tell the girls, well, what if I give you a popsicle? Can they go to work? They're like, yes. So I give them the popsicle. And you know, I'm a little selfish. I know that I don't have to watch him because I'm going to, I'm going to leave. They get the popsicle and then nanny has to deal with it.
So we got.
You're the savior. They're like, dad gave us sugar. We love it. And she.
So that's why the girls love me. They love me. I, I asked him, like, who do you love more, mom or dad? Like, they're like, of course.
Basically you're a drug dealer. I'm the plug. And that's why my kids love. Who do you love more? My plug. That's who I love. I love my plug the most.
I realize my, all my kids are like, oh, I love dad more. I'm like, because he gives you exactly what you want, right?
He doesn't say no.
Can you say no when you go, Listen, you take the girls to the store, you go somewhere, to any store. You're going to Disney tomorrow.
God.
Good luck with that.
You're screwed.
You're gonna spend at least $10,000 outside of the. For stuffies.
Stuffies.
I think that at Disney, you're going tomorrow. Like, but when you take the kids, you take the girls, and you go shopping, go to the store, go to the grocery or anything. Do your kids ask for stuff? If you give them sugar in the morning, they for sure ask for. And you buy it.
Yeah, he buys.
I like it. You minute. Like, when that goes down, how do you feel about your girls asking for stuff? Like, are you feeling weird about it? You're just like, ah, you know what? I'm gonna buy my girls something. I don't care. I love it. I'm just gonna keep buying themselves.
Yeah, I feel like that. Yeah.
Yeah.
Buy them whatever they want. Yeah. So we had a target. What did you guys buy later?
Yeah. Before you get there, though, like, I want to correct her on. On something that she said because she.
She's.
When she's with our daughters, yeah, she'll take some. Some time and be without her phone. But a lot of the times she's not, like, being the best mother with the kids because. Because she. She's with them, and she's on her phone really with them. So she does that a lot.
But here's the thing with women, though. Okay? So here's my.
Me and Danielle had this debate a few days ago. I said, what would happen if a man was rubbed as much as a woman's cell phone at night?
Okay.
If you stroked me for two straight hours like this, I don't think I'd last, number one, but number two, that would be exciting.
Here's the thing. If I'm with my kids for, like, say, six hours out of the day, I'm allowed to be on my phone every five minutes. I'm like, you come home and you're with the kids for an hour. Put your phone down. Like, I had six hours with them. You had one hour. So if we actually did the math, that means you get three minutes on your phone and I get an hour.
Exactly.
I have to put my phone.
Math. Okay?
I have to leave my phone in the car. I can't even bring it in.
Well, the thing is, is that I.
Can'T bring it in or I'll be on it for, like, two minutes.
And I'm like, Albert, like, I literally have not been on My phone at all. He's like, do you have time for us? Do you have time for. I'm like, don't do that.
This seems. This seems like, like the let's Destroy Albert and Garrett show.
That's exactly. That's exactly what the date you. I podcast in therapy is always, like.
The duo podcast about is just being real. Like, right. This is, like, what couples go through. So we kind of create this dialogue that. It's like, hey, nobody's innocent in this. Like, everybody goes through this.
Don't worry, bro. We're going to flip this script here in a minute. Don't worry. Just let it come. This is a setup.
Trust the process.
This is the. This. Trust the prostitute. This is a jab. We're coming with a knockout blow here in a second. Okay, so we're going to continue with the question. So amidst this, having a new baby and you two are in business together.
Yeah.
So this is in. Being married is extremely difficult and intense when you have two powerful individuals, even if they're not running companies together.
Right.
It's already stressful. So you two have decided to be triply insane. You've decided to be married. One, two, you've decided to make humans, and three, you've decided to run companies together.
Right.
This is the death blow. So let's talk about strategy here. Like, Albert, how. How have you been able to keep. And what are you doing even if you've not been able to do it the best? Like, what are you finding right now is actually working to keep you two connected? Because although you're working a ton of whatever the situation is, I experience you guys as connected. I watch how she stands next to you. I watch how you stand next to her. I watch how you stand and, like, pride of who she is. I watch how she watches you. I've seen this. I observe all this. We watch this all the time. Like, I'm looking for it. When around couples, you can tell people bullshitting.
Yeah.
Not perfect. Not perfect. Don't have to be. So what. What do you see? Like, what. When you look at her and you know, this is your. Your woman, your wife, your partner, the mother of your children, plus your business partner, plus your integrator. Thank you. Traction Gina Wickman. How do you. Like. How do you play this out so that you can keep her in the spicy pocket as your wife, too?
Well, well, number one, we. We were forced to get married, and then we were forced to work together because we had no other option.
We.
We jumped in, and then we had to. We were forced pregnant or what? No, no, I'll tell you that story. But, but the, the answer to the question is that the reason why I eventually fell in love with Silver was because she was the only girl out of all the girls that I went out with that she was okay doing three things. And we grew, we grew together and we invested a lot into self improvement and relationships that mentored and taught us a lot. So that's why we became who we are. But that happened because she was the only girl that was interested in three things like all the other girls. Like, I, I, I went out with so many hotties and, but they all lacked a lot of things, right? So Sil had three strong qualities. She was the first girl that when I told her, hey, you know what? I'm gonna be late at work. When I was doing my mortgages back in 2007, you want to meet me at the office and then you could help me work, and then we could go out from here. She would always, she would always say, yes, I'll go to the office, I'll help you work, I'll scan papers with you, right? We'll have a drink at the office and then go out. So I like that she was into work. And then number two, because most girls would tell me, nah, you know what? Just finish and just pick me up when you're done and I don't want to go to work. Second, she was the first one to tell me, hey, Albert. Because she wouldn't want to hang out with me, right? But I was going to the Todd Duncan seminars. I was going to the, all these seminars that I was going to. And I would tell her, hey, do you want to come to the seminar with me? It's going to be in Palm Desert, the Marriott, and we're gonna go there and we could hang out. You could stay the night. I'm gonna be in the seminar. But while I'm in the seminar, you could just be in the, in the pool. You could hang out, and then you could meet me in my breaks. And she was like, yeah, yeah, yeah. And then one thing that impressed me was she would say like, hey, you know what? It's already Sunday. It's the last day.
Can I go in?
There's less people in there. Do you think I could sneak in? I want to see what you're, what you're learning. And that was like, damn, she's interested.
We were super broke at the time.
So, so she would, she would go, she would go into the seminars with me and, and that, that was the second one. Then the third one is like, she was the first girl that I would tell, hey, you know what, I'm gonna go work out at 4am because I used to work out at 4am, 4.30am and she would be like, yeah, I'll be at your house, I'll be your house. So she would get there at 4, 4 in the morning so that we could go to 24 hour fitness and work out. And we couldn't even afford the gym at one point after 20, 20 2008. So we would sneak in. So we became professionals at sneaking into gyms. And, and she would, she would have those three checks.
Gyms, sneaking into events, sneak into.
That's it, that's it, that's it, that's it.
Strip clubs. You snuck in together.
Strip clubs didn't go well with us.
Babe, you're missing the message. They're talking about being connected.
I know, I'm hearing it and I'm.
Talking about sneaking, but that, those were the three things. But the reason why I was forced to marry her was because I never wanted to get married. I don't know if you guys know Luis Miguel. Luis Miguel is a really famous Mexican, Mexican, Puerto Rican single singer. Singer. One of the most famous Mexican singers. So he was like a pretty boy. And he had all the girls, including my. Mariah Carey was one of his, one of his girlfriends. So this guy just had all the hot girls. So when my dream as, as a young guy, as a young man was like, I want to be like Luis Miguel. I want to be good looking, I want to be like, have a personality and I just want to go and have sex with the hottest 1000 plus woman in the world. And I never want to get married. And, and that's that. That was like my goal as a young 18, 19 year old.
Wait, you were forced to get married because that was unfulfilling.
No, I was forced to marry her because she was one of my girls that I dated. I was dating a bunch of girls and she was fun and, and, but, but I had a lot of girls and I was going out with girls. Yeah, I would wake up with a girl and I would fake my route to the office, get dressed, shower, just to kick the girl out. I would bust a U turn when she left and come back and lay back in bed. And then I would have another girl meeting me at 12 for lunch and then I would kick her out to go out with another girl to the club later at night. So this was when I was like doing the Cocaine. I was drinking a lot. Partying. 2007. 7. Ish.
And you guys know each other yet?
We met. Right. Shortly after.
No. Yeah, we did.
We did.
Yeah, we did.
Right.
Right in the middle. Around that time.
2007 is when we met.
No, you know, he's pulling the shenanigans.
No, he stopped when he met her.
She would get home before the iPhone. Yeah, but you were bad too.
Text. Text.
Doesn't know.
I was not bad. Yeah, she all together in a group. Hey, you want to go out tonight? And I'm like, what?
I would text 10 girls, like, on the text, on the group text.
Literally. I'm like, who are all these other people?
Hey, what are you doing tonight? You want to go out with me to this place? To this hot spot? And then I would get three yeses, and then I would pick the hottest one out of three.
Oh, my God.
I was. I was.
I was.
I had a lot of fun.
Were group texting.
It.
It was like, you're probably like, ew.
No, I was just like, what? Who are all these other people? So how did you.
How did you.
Were you. Were you saying yes in these text threads?
No, I was.
I ran into her. I think I did it once or twice, but with her. But I ran into her in the club.
Liked her because she was like, absolutely not.
I ran into her in the club. But the reason why I was forced to marry her was because, like, 2009, 10, we were like, you know, there's a story before that, but I didn't want to get married. I. I still wanted to have my freedom.
Yeah.
As a man. And then one day, you know, she has to get married, and if she doesn't get married with me, she's gonna get married with somebody else.
Because you know who this other guy was?
Yeah, yeah, yeah. It was my ex.
So she was. Because she was born in Mexico.
Okay.
So. So I. I had to get married.
Did he live in Mexico?
No, no. Her other guy was a white guy.
And a white guy. Yeah. So the choice was marry her, or she was gonna marry a white guy from the U.S. yeah.
Yeah. That's exactly what she told me. So then I said, you know what? She's the only girl that has done those three things that I appreciate. And I said, well, I'm not gonna risk it. I'm gonna marry her. So then we went to Long beach over here. And then we just signed some papers, got married, and then we were married.
So you guys just did it like.
Like a quick. At a courthouse.
Yeah.
Do you ever go back and do like, like a ceremony or anything like that?
We're planning it. We want to get married in Acapulco, Mexico.
But you haven't done it yet.
Not yet.
But you're going to do it. Is there, Is there a date for this? Is there a date you've selected?
No.
No. Yeah. Why not? Why? We're not selected a day for a man as driven as you are. Why do we not have a date?
Because. Because she has enough committed to, like, fixing some stuff she has to fix first. So she's the one holding it.
Like she wants to come. She wants to fix it or you want her to fix it?
No, she.
She needs.
She needs to complete some. Some. Some process transactions so that we could.
She wants to complete some transactions.
There's a process that she has to complete in order for us to be able to travel, like, international. Got it. That's why she's holding off the marriage.
Yeah. Nobody always jokes around. He's like, when you have a four pack, we'll do a wedding.
Oh, that's true. So she also, she also has promised me, like, a four pack for, for the, for the past decade. So. Yeah, maybe you could coach her on that.
I, I honestly, Castillo always tells me.
I have three kids. I gave birth to three kids. I'm like.
Which is not a lie.
Well, you give birth to four and you have a four pack.
But here's the thing. So, like, I always had this story, like, even with my body and fitness, I'm like, oh, I'm a mom. It's fine. Like, I look great. And it was with my third daughter, a DVT, which is, like, super life threatening. And I gained 70 pounds on my tiny frame. And it really, I was. It put a new perspective on life and the body. And so I kind of was like, what do I have to lose? I have to lose this weight anyways. I keep telling myself these stories of, like, I can't do that. I'm a mom or whatever, and I hired professionals to help me. And I thought, you know, what if I just, like, give it my all and listen to these people that are going to help coach me tell you.
Exactly what to do.
Yeah. And you know what, though? Like, I was like, oh, I'm going to become, like, this pro bodybuilder. I decided to do bikini competitions. And what's crazy is, I didn't get to that level, but I had so much progress. And so it's like, you have this end goal in mind, and so you won't commit to doing something. And for me, it was like, hey, if I give it my all and I see progress, then that is perfection, right? And so people have this idea of what perfection is. I'm like, you don't even know what perfection is, Right? So that's kind of like what my personal journey has been with my body is. I was like, what do I have to lose? And everyone's telling me, like, oh, you've had kids. You don't need to do that. It's fine. I'm like, I'm going to prove them wrong. And so that's. I. I didn't know what I was doing. But if it's something you desire, right, Then hire coaches to help you and keep you accountable.
Right?
If you don't desire it.
Do you want a four pack?
I care.
Yeah.
So I would love a four pack. This is my thing that I try to explain to him. I'm like, like, I get. Get it. But, like, if I ever do it, it's sure as hell not going to be. Be for you. Because of you. It's going to be for me.
Add a girl.
Secondly, for you, right? Because I always tell you that, and I would love to have a four pack. And, you know, the reality is, is I told him. I'm like, Albert, obviously, last year was like, crazy. Like, you guys have no idea. And like, my baby's fairly young, and I think I look pretty good.
Baby's 11. Your baby's 11 months old. And you were going through the. The biggest shift in mortgages in the last decade. I mean, and you're dealing with operations.
You guys name it. And it's just wild, you know? And to me, I'm like, okay, I can handle a lot, you know, but then also, I'm like, I'm human. And I just told Albert, like, what the are we doing? Like, what is all this? And I'm not like, a big eater, really. I can eat healthy forever. I love drinking, right? But then I tell him, you're not exactly the best example. I'm trying to be good. He's like, let's go on a day. I'm like, it. Let's go on a date. So it kind of turns into like, we're the same personality. Like, we're both alpha. But I told him, like, yeah, now I'm like, I feel like I'm back to normal finally. It takes time, you know, that's another thing that men don't really understand. It takes time to feel like yourself, Right? And again, I can push through anything, mind you. Like, anything. But I'm working on it.
I'll give you just my one tip of advice, because it's actually not as hard as we make it out to be, Right? Like, you have such a high capacity. And so we tell ourselves these stories of, like, I can't deal with that because I want to deal with what's most important and what I value, which is my family and my business and my husband. And so we say, we can't have this, but you can have it all. And for me, when I hired professionals to help me, I realized I was not eating enough. And it was like, things that I was like, oh, my gosh, like, you. You're telling me the exact opposite of what I'm doing, Right? And so hire an expert that's in the field of their expertise. Right? We don't know. So we think we know what's best for our body. And it's like, who's to say that when you're not getting the result that you want? So for me, in submitting to the process, I was like, wow, this is actually not as hard as I thought. So we always look at, like, something in the future as being too hard to accomplish because we're ignorant and we don't know.
Right?
So I just, like, for me, like, like I said, I finally, like, my ego just was like, after my third baby, because I was like, I like, okay, I'm literally like. I was like, I like the doctors. I was on these blood thinner shots, like, every day. It was rough. So it just put. It just put a different perspective.
How much did you go up to that. That at that point.
70 pounds.
70 plus pounds I gained with my third pregnancy. 70 pounds because I had high preeclampsia and I had a DVT, which is a blood clot in my leg.
Because you were five four. You're five four or five two?
I'm five' four. On a good day, I'm like five' three.
And you were weighing how much? Like, when you gained those pounds, I.
Was like, I remember 80.
It was like when I went into the United 170 something, I was like.
I had a baby in you.
I know, but still, I'm. I'm normally like 110 pounds. So like, for me, I was just like, what is this? I was like, who is it? Who's the. What is this going on? Like, I didn't even feel like me.
Right?
Here's the thing, though. I'll tell you. Ready? You ready for you ready for the Dark side of this. Albert, you ready? I'm ready. Your balls are going to tingle. You ready to do this? I'm about to tell you the heart. I'm about to tell you the dark side. You ready? If she pursues what you're at wanting her to pursue and she goes into the fitness reservoir, let's pretend she hangs out with Danielle and her and Danielle decide to get all spicy. Next thing you know, she's entering the wellness competition, which is typically for the Latinas and the black girls who have like curvier bodies, great booty. They enter different. It's different than bikini. So it's a whole category in the physical world. Or you go physique or you go bikini.
Right.
She gets fit in that world. She already runs the companies, she runs the kids with full lockdown physically. It's going to come with two things. One, you're going to have a woman that's going to be spicy in the sense she's going to feel tons of confidence to anything she's tolerated in you is going to end. Meaning she will level up and immediately not tolerate something. So that's going to come back. So, like, in my world, Danielle was the same way. When she rose in power physically, she went to this place of confidence and certainty that then things I was doing that I were never mentioned all of a sudden were like intolerable. That's how we ended up problem. That's how we ended up in the March collision that I was telling you about last year was because she had gained so much confidence and certainty in herself physically from training, but she wasn't doing it for me. Yeah, that in ways she wasn't. It's not that she wasn't confident before, it's just. She wasn't just.
It literally shattered my ego and I just became like, I just really worked on myself inside, outside, like, I just really worked on myself because I feel like you can't expect your partner to do the work for you. Right. So you have to work on yourself and then meet them with that. That. So tell us about, like your guys's journey. Like, you, you've had, you know, your companies, you're evolving, you're growing. And I feel like there's this level of connection in the beginning of your relationship like you talked about. How do you maintain that? Because Garrett and I struggle with that all the time. Like, we're like, okay, sometimes we're business partners high fiving on the way out. We do our date nights. When you guys were doing your podcast earlier and Albert you were saying, like, well, you guys, you know, you do your date nights. For me, date nights are not a time to discuss, like, like, spicy topics. They're to relax and have fun and. Because you're with kids in business and all that thing.
Yeah.
And so for us, like, we do therapy. We do, like, we go to the gym and stuff like that. What have you guys done to, like, help maintain your marriage and, like, keep that spark going?
So, honestly, Albert and I, like, he's like my bestie. Like, I love him. Like, it's weird because I would rather be with him than anybody else, any other girl, any day. Like, I want him to come with me everywhere, which I don't know if that's good or bad.
I think we were, like, more best friends and attracted to each other.
Yeah.
Yeah, right? We've always been best friends. Like, so that helps. Right? But it's. It's, you know, like, when you were saying about dumping the load, like, today, it made me think, like, this morning was that I was just so pissed off at some. And I'm just like, you know what? Like, it just drives me crazy sometimes to think that people are so shitty. Like, especially people that you've poured so much into. But I told them, like, we just have to. And he's like, so. They're fucking ants. They're literally irrelevant. And I'm like, no, but, like, how could people do stuff like this? Like, it's crazy and mind blowing to me, but, like, I'm just going to let it be, you know? But I don't want it to affect our relationship. But, like, lately, like, he'll tell me, like, do I have to? Like, when was it that you told me if you have to go find another girl for sex, was it like two months ago? So then we're, like, trying all this stuff. I'm like, okay, we'll stop on our way in, you know, and then our security. I'm just like, oh, my God. We're, like, trying to do it in the car. Our kids, as I mentioned, in the Ferrari, you know, in the Rolls Royce.
No, we did in the Ferrari, too.
In the front seat. There's only a front seat. Driver's side.
Not worried.
Driver's side, dude.
See, that's. Listen, you gotta get. You know, we know that she wasn't sitting, driving, and you were straddling her. That's a lot of work. Danielle rolls over in the Lambo at times.
It didn't work out that well. So then. So then we traded in the Rolls and that didn't go. That didn't go that well either.
Because the second time it did it.
Because, because we went. We're. We have a big gate going into our house.
Yeah.
And we have a driveway. So I, I figured we'll like go in and then let the gate close and then stay at the bottom of the gate. That way they can see us from the house.
Do you have like a big ass house and a nanny? Can't you like, find it like a.
We. We do our best. Sometimes we'll like.
Still's not good at sneaking.
Sneak in.
Still's not good at sneaking in. And then she doesn't want to either. So, like, I have to get her really drunk. And, and, and. And then we'll stop by. By the Hotel Bel Air before our house. It's like a few blocks away.
Yeah, that.
And.
But where I up was that I went in and then I. And then I backed down a little bit so that the cameras are watching. Yeah. So then what happened is when I backed down, the gate opened again and they got stuck so bad. So like, we were like, we. We had like a. We had like, we had like a 45 minute, like, session.
Yeah. And the gate was wide open. It was open and cameras are watching.
Our security was throwing the lights at us and they were calling my phone and they were saying. And then they called Wally. And then Wally called me. And then he was, he was saying, hey, is everything. So the whole neighborhood found out about our sex capade. Our sex in our own driveway.
Was it good, though?
It was actually still.
Did you come?
What?
Did you come?
No.
I mean, that's a lot of work.
She bleeded.
Welcome to the day to I podcast. This is our show, which means this is all authorized. This is exactly how the show goes.
And you keep us spicy in the car with the security with the flashlight.
Girl. We've been like, here on a Saturday. I'm like, it. Let's just go in his office. His. His office. We cover it. But in the locker room, there's no cameras. It's the only place that has no.
Don't give that secret for, for the rest of the company.
So everybody there?
Hey, the company. The company needs to know that you two are in the showers when they're gone on the weekends.
I honestly know, like, here's the thing.
When you, you should. There's a bench in there. I saw the bench. I immediately thought about it. I was like, that's a shower.
So when you have little kids, though.
Like, it's mandatory, like, to stay Connected. You gotta find moments, figure it out.
Yeah, you're like, so we had a moment. We had a moment in Hawaii just like two weeks ago. It was hilarious.
So we're used to when you sent me a video right there from the. You were.
Yes, I, I did. Well, that was. I was sending video from there, but at the hotel where we were in. In Hawaii. The hotel, you're with the kids. Yes, we have the kids and the nannies. We got two rooms, we got our nanny, and we've got our four kids. And we're having a good time. We're doing our thing. But Danielle and I have the escape at times because I'm like, we have a mandatory thing on vacation, minimum one time a day. Because if we don't, I lose my mind. So, like, I'm like, I can't like around all that. I'm looking at her and she's hot and her ass is out and she's doing her thing all day. I'm like, we can't. This has to happen every day. So we just created a game over the years. We're like, we every day, at least once on vacation. So we're sitting in the shower, I'm on a floor, she's on top of me. We're have. She's got moves, I got moves. And really, I don't do anything. I sit there. She got moves right there. It's great.
Too much information.
My daughter comes sometimes. No, you get lazy.
No, no, I support. I'm holding her ass and like, I'll, I'll support. I. I put some bicep into it. I'll lift the body. Okay, I'll help out a little bit. So my daughter comes in. Now you tell the rest of the story. Our four year old comes rolling into.
The bathroom shower and we're like, go away. And she like, won't go away. And I'm like, should I get off? Should I move?
What do we do?
I'm like, she's like, that happened to us last week.
God, they walked in with you two in the shower.
My toddler goes, why are you hugging daddy so hard?
No, literally, we're. She's on my lap. She's on my lap. I'm sitting on the bottom of the shower and our 4 year old is standing with the glass shower right there, looking at us going, hey, did you know I'm dancing? I'm jumping on the bed, dad. I'm like, yeah, you need to go away right now.
Go jump more on the bed.
Then she goes out and tells Our nanny. I don't know what they're doing, but Mommy's hugging dad's neck really hard. It was more than just outside. Outside the door.
No, it's. It gets complicated.
Okay, so hold up. So hold up, hold up. We're gonna continue because you got the spicy red shoes on.
You had a baby different than your guys'.
No, this is just how we do it at Daijiy. Podcast is how it's supposed to be. So sex is, like, to me, and I look at it in marriage. It's like that and money. But I think sex, more than anything, tends to be the biggest eroding factor as to why, like, marriages fall apart.
Right.
And pregnancy and kids is hard. And I try to talk about this as a man, like, try to share this, like, over and over again. Like, it's an issue if there's not open dialogue and communication about it. Right. And I have huge empathy, like, for you as a woman, and huge, like, disrespect for what you go through to create. Plus, you're a producer. So it's not just like, I carry a baby, I deliver a baby, I care for a baby after the delivery. Now we get to deal with the body, like, recovering from all of that. And that's intense, right? That's a. That's a lot. So what is, like, your policy as a woman, as a wife? Like, how do you. How do you think through the game of sex in marriage? Because you guys have been together for how long? 15 years? 14 years?
16.
16.
Yeah.
I mean, you're in the pocket where it could easily become a right. Send it.
It right.
Be done. A lot of couples do that.
Well, you want to answer that first? No, because I just wanted to ask you guys, do you guys have better sex? Sober or drunk?
Both.
I'm.
I'm more of like. I like to. I tell Garrett. I'm like, I'm a slutty drunk.
Like, I think super slutty.
I think that's how women are. Like. Like, whatever.
I feel like. I feel like. I feel like, like. Like Seal has better moves when she's drunk.
Of course, Danielle's way better moves when she comes out.
We're like, you sit down, sir. Like you're having a date.
Yeah, no, no, sober. Sober. She's got moves.
No, but.
But drunk. She's. She's. Her name's Mercedes and she's Friday night.
Okay.
That's 11 o' clock show and she's headlining.
Okay.
Flew in from Vegas to the local club here.
No, that's like, fun. But I will say, like, I tell.
Them I'm like in the shoes.
I like morning sex because it's like, it's, you relax, you're obviously not drinking. It's like, it's a different connection. So I like both.
Yeah. So advice from you guys because, because we the our problem. Because I love morning sex because I think I, I mean, I think I, I, I'm not every other man, right? But I think every man wakes up with a morning wood.
Yeah, for sure.
So, so like, morning sex, like, is the best sex. But we sleep with our three kids, so, so, so we have our, our one year old, our four year old, and our seven year old.
Why, why does that happen? Sleeping. You.
Yeah, well, maybe you can, you guys can coach us. Cuz, cuz if we wake up and we're like together in the morning, I.
Promise if you lock your door, they'll eventually just cry themselves back to their room.
Okay, so you had. So whose idea is it to put these three babies into bed? So here it comes.
Starts it.
All right, let's go. Red shoes.
You go to bed with them.
They.
Yeah, but, but, but then they twist and everything inside.
Horrible plan, horrible strategy.
Out. But who put her back on New Year's? You brought her back. So that was your fault.
Okay, I have, I have advice. It's gonna be my.
Hold on, hold up. We need more data. We need more data. We need more data. Before you give advice. So know, tell us more about this. Three beds and three kids.
Sometimes we're here till eight something. Which I'm already fixing that. And that's because of last year. I'm like, I could have, I should have went to yoga. But I'm here helping everybody, doing everything for everybody, especially some of the people that are no longer here. And time is the most valuable thing we have, right? So for me, I'm like, I mean, we both adore our kids. Like, I'm obsessed with them. And when we're around, they're like right there. It doesn't matter who their nanny is, what they're doing, who's over. They just want to be, be with us. Like, it's, it's crazy, right? So Italia, Berlin and Kelly. Kelly's tiny.
I love sleep Italian is her name.
Italia.
Italia.
Italia, Berlin and Kelly and Kelly. So I'm, I love sleeping. Like, if I don't sleep, I'm the worst. Like, I feel like I'm like up or something. Like I feel like I'm high or something.
Yeah, for sure.
So I've Never been one to like wake up and like, go to my kids bedroom, nurse them and put them back. Like, I just can't. Like, I. I just can't. I can't. So I sleep with them. We co sleep. So it's easy with one, it's easy with two. Three is a lot, you know? And Italia is already big. And I keep telling myself, like, she's going to sleep with us.
Are you still nursing your 11 year old?
I am.
Oh, okay.
So that's what I explained to him. I'm like, albert, it's not that. Sometimes we'll like show you nursing because.
You want to nurse.
I just love nursing and I don't want to not nurse.
That's okay. You know what, it's great.
I don't want to not give Cali the same that I gave all the other ones anyway, so.
Which is a year, right?
Right.
Which is a year. So at a year I'm gonna cut her off. But it's like she's a little.
Albert's already got that on the count.
It's like such a short year. Enjoy it.
Exactly. And that's what I explained to him. I'm like, you know, sometimes successfully I can. She's knocked out and then we'll go have sex. Like we'll go to their bedroom or whatever. But that's not every morning. And that's what I kind of try to explain to him. I'm like, look, like, I get it, but it's also like a hit or miss.
What if you guys. So hold on, hold up, hold up.
I need more data. Okay, so the babies coming to bed, but they're not around you a lot. So when they come home at night, the babies are awake. All the babies are awake.
Most of them are awake.
Okay, so they're awake at 8:00 clock at night. How do we get babies in bed by 7:30 before you come home?
Because we miss them.
Okay, so how do we create midday activities with the kids for two hours and you leave the office?
I was gonna say you guys are for mornings.
You do mornings, you go leave midday, go be with the kids. And then at night you come home and the kids are in bed and you have Utah time them having a.
Bedtime and definitely solve all of our issues.
I get it, bro. Listen, I used to come home like every night. That's what our problem was, is how our war started. Because I would be so missing my kids. So I'd be all in with the kids. But I'm coming home at 7:30. 7:45 at night, every night.
I was like, hey, so with our first two kids, he did this quite a bit. And I was like, you're saying no to me and yes to our kids, right? You can't do that seven days a week. I'm sorry. That doesn't work.
Right?
And so I'm like, I get that you feel this, this dad guilt. And I'm like, then find other ways to connect with your children, right? So for us, like, when we. We had, like, two kids, and then we took a big break, and then we had two kids, two more kids, and I said, I'm not going to do the same thing that we did with our other two kids. We have an opportunity to. To create whatever we want. And it's. And so it's like, for me, it's like when you understand you can create whatever you want, you start telling yourself, well, I have to do this way, because this and this and this. And so my. I was telling Garrett, like, we have a night nanny. We don't need a night nanny. Like, I'm done with. I. I'm. I'm usually home. Like, I work in the mornings, and then I'm done by like two. So he is. He's getting better at his schedule. But I just said, hey, if we have a night nanny that before they're cooking dinner, she can help do bath time, we can talk and hang out and connect. And our kids have. Our two younger kids have now gotten used to it. I'm like, hey, go with, Go with Bri. She's gonna go put you to bed. And they've gotten used to that routine, right? So. But I'm not. We don't do that every night. It's like three nights a week. There's some nights where, yeah, my little freaking four year old, I'm like, no, you're yummy. And you're gonna come hang out with me and I'm gonna snuggle. You do. But it's got to be that balance where it's like, it, it. They need to be comfortable having somebody else put them to bed, not waiting for mommy and daddy to do that so that you guys can have your space and time. And I don't. I don't want to hang out with Garrett seven nights a week.
Right?
I actually love my babies, right? So it's a balance. It's like, hey, I need like, a few nights of. With you. And, like, no kids. And the nanny puts them to bed. And then there's times I'm like, I. You go, I'm just gonna snuggle my baby.
Right, Right.
We're good.
Like, we're gonna watch a movie.
Yeah.
Like, I. I've seen you enough today. I want to snuggle my baby.
That. That's what Elena and Grant. That's what Elena and Grant do. I don't know if they still do that, but their girls are big now. But I remember back, like, seven years ago or six years ago, we were with them in their condo in. In Miami, and nanny was putting the girls to sleep while we were having dinner, and. And we were having drinks dinner, and nanny was putting the kids. The girls to sleep, and they were. Are already used to that.
Yep.
Yeah.
So listen, you got. Here's the deal. These kids are gonna become teenagers. When they are teenagers, they won't give a about YouTube.
I know.
That's why if you this up in the next 10 years, you two will be done.
Right.
Like, it's not even negotiable. Like, the pressure you do. Not having space is exactly what we were facing. Think and like, it leads to this place of implosion. Because I don't experience you as a woman that doesn't want to be taken by your husband.
Right.
Do you want to be taken by Albert?
Well, yeah, of course.
Of course you do. And you want to be held and cared for and supported, and you see him all day long while you guys are in the battlefield.
Right.
That's a very interesting dynamic. Right. Most people don't understand that. They haven't faced it. This is what we were going through. Like, most of our biggest battles were, like, being super stressed about how to create these lines between loving our kids, but feeling like we weren't around our kids enough. Stressed out about being in the business constantly together and dealing with financial pressure and stress.
Right.
And then trying to find us and then trying to have our own individual time. Like, it's a lot. You got to get these kids out of the bed.
It's a lot to.
How are we going to get these kids out of bed?
She's.
She's.
Operation Italia. Agreed.
Operation.
You have a vision. Agree. Okay, so what's the vision?
You want is to get him out of the room and to be happy doing it.
Yeah.
So then she needs to get on the operation side.
It'll be hard, though, in the beginning, because, like, in. Even when we've hired new nannies, they're, like, screaming like, mommy, I love you. And you're like, I love you.
Like, you feel, like, this dramatic.
So dramatic.
You're like, I can't do it.
I'm just gonna go put her to bed.
Right.
So it's like, you almost have to, like. I literally had to, like, lock myself in my room and be like, I'm just gonna, like, listen. Like, I couldn't. I didn't want to hear my kids crying. Right in the beginning. We had one nanny. She was like, I got this. And she'd like, shut the door and I'd hear my kids scre screaming. And I was like, I just need to walk away. And then, you know, a couple weeks in, she was like, bye, mom. Good night. And I was like, oh, my gosh. Okay.
Do you have one nanny or two nannies?
Two.
Two. Okay.
I think Italia. Honestly, she said at 7 she was gonna sleep. She slept in her bed once. Would you believe that? Oh, my God.
One time, one day, one time, one night. Italy's oldest one, she's seven.
She's gonna be seven tomorrow.
She's been sleeping your bed the whole time? Yeah. Oh, God. This is like a cocaine habit. This is gonna be rough.
We're gonna have to cut cords.
We're gonna have to, have to send her. We're going to have to send her and you to rehab.
I know. I just love them so much.
But.
Yeah, I think it's that.
Okay, hold up.
They sleep in, they sleep in your bed. Right?
Right.
So do you have a guest room?
Yeah.
Okay, so leave the kids in a bed and ditch them. Go to the guest room after they fall asleep. Put pillows up.
Yeah, but that doesn't, that doesn't work.
Because a little tiny one, I think.
That'S seal needs to work on the operation side at the house because. Because they don't go to sleep till like midnight.
Midnight.
So. So the little, the 4 year old is up at 11:30.
You need like, like, like this.
Yeah, it is.
It's always getting worse.
We had the same.
I'll tell you why he's doing his live at night and he's like, keep them awake. Keep them away. Are they awake? So don't be lying.
I do the same. I do the same.
I'm like, go to sleep.
I'm like, I need to see the kids. It's nine. Like, but no, like, right. I, at that point I realized I'm like, I chose work over my kids. Kids. So it is what it is. Sometimes I'm okay with that and sometimes.
I'm like, I feel like, okay, ideal situation. What? Okay, let's come here. Se. What is ideal? You. Ideal night time would be what for you cuddling.
With my husband.
Okay.
At least how many days a week? Let's put a number to it.
Why? Why does it have three days?
Sometimes I actually want to cuddle Charlie. More than I.
Sometimes you want to cuddle. Instagram.
But you think. You think women get. Get hurt, like, if you pound them hard, like seven times a week.
Cuddling is different than pounding. I appreciate where you're going. I love how Albert. Her cuddling is pounding. She said cuddling, not pounding.
Cuddling. Cuddling leads to pounding. Like, if you.
This is so crazy. So let me tell you, if you have.
If you have. If you have sex for five minutes, it's different than. Than having sex for an hour.
This. This is like the perfect description of men and women. I want to cuddle every night. And all Albert heard was pounding seven nights.
I don't know if a woman can take seven, seven hours of pounding.
But something I explained to him. So since we're.
This is why the kids are in bed. She's avoiding the pounding.
Listen to me. I'm not at all. So listen.
I think about that sometimes.
Pounding block, babe, let's cuddle.
And I'm like, okay, yeah, let's cuddle. Right? And he. Right away, I'm like, that's not how it works. Like, I get it because the kids are finally asleep. This is like a Saturday night, per se, right?
Isn't that cuddly?
That is not cuddling. It's too deleting.
You just need to not go with cuddle and just be direct. Say, hey, babe, I need to cuddle after.
Yeah.
And then we can cuddle.
Yeah, yeah.
Just be direct. Because I used to pull the cuddle move too. Hey, babe, I don't pull this. Also, you want a massage? You want to cuddle? Hey, babe, you want a massage? Which really translated to, I want to pound.
Yeah.
Do you want to cuddle? Which really was like.
But really, I want to cuddle and talk and connect.
And so.
And I'm like. When he's like, do you want to cuddle, babe? I'm like, I know exactly what you want. Like, it's fine right now.
I just asked for it.
Then I'm just like, hey, no, you don't even ask for it. I just take your pants off, and then I. Then we cuddle, and then I just.
Give you the look. That's how powerful it is. I just give her a look. She's like, oh, that's a pounding look. I'm taking his pants off right now.
Trademark. Done. And sell it to guys.
I Could bottle it up as a drink, take a shot. You just look at her and she drops. She rips your pants off, you're ready to go.
Well, Sil knows my look, but it, it doesn't translate like to your results.
She's. We're gonna have to get a translator for her.
I'm really direct back with you though. There's times like, I just need you to know it's an absolute no. Tonight I'm going to bed and you're like, fair enough.
And half of that time it's turned into yes.
But that's exactly him.
Half time it is a no. So here's the thing though. These kids in the middle, you love them. The blocking game is in full effect.
Right, Right.
Which affects you too because like then he gets sexually frustrated and he's feeling bad and he's feeling sad and they come to the office and he's like a bull, just like with raging ball syndrome. And he can't even think straight. He's like getting new visions and buying ninety thousand dollar boards you don't need. And at the same time you're needing to feel connected. Like you gotta really. You want. I'm gonna, I'm gonna be really direct. Do you feel better after you've had an orgasm? Yes or no?
Well, of course.
Okay. Do you feel better after you have an orgasm? Yes or no?
Yeah.
Okay. Did you pause?
No.
Okay, good.
So I don't think anybody would say no to that.
I don't know. Some people. Weird. You never know. So I don't assume anymore. I've been like a lot of random.
You feel more connected.
No, no, I didn't say connect. I just said feel better. Connected is a different thing.
So do you feel good after all?
Yes. You feel good, right? Okay.
I don't think anybody would say no.
But I don't know when you have it. At night or in the morning. Which of those two do you feel more connected to, Albert? When it happens at night time or in the morning?
Probably at night. That's another thing. He's a morning person.
Because you're not a morning person.
I'm not. And by morning I mean like, do not talk to me at like 6am please. Like 6:30 is good.
Like it's one. It's like one every quarter that she wakes up early for morning sex.
No, that's.
So you want morning sex and she wants night sex?
Well, we would, we would have morning sex every morning and we would just sleep alone.
Yeah.
Because I'm a very good persistent no We're.
Yeah, you're persuasive. If the kids weren't in bed, are you open to, like, morning sex? Every morning, 100. Okay, so did I give Gary kids.
That I know I've been.
Hold up, hold up. Did you hear that?
A long time.
Did you hear what she just said?
Yeah.
What did she just say?
That if the kids weren't there, she would bone. Every morning.
Every morning. Okay, so I like to look at kids as an opportunity and an obstacle, right? You're an opportunity. I created you. I love you. You're an obstacle because you're in the way between me and this connection with this woman that I love that existed before you and will exist after you move out of our house.
Right.
When they're teenagers. I'm telling you right now, I got 25, 16, and 13. They're 17. 13. These kids all move into their own adventure. So how are we going to get these kids? Because it sounds like you might be holding on to the kids and keeping.
Them in the bed he holds them on.
No.
No more than I do.
I even.
I tell her.
I even told her, like, hey, let's get a room in the hotel before going home.
We do not need to.
And she's like.
She's like, no, let's go home.
Yeah, she. She's. I don't know if she's maybe needs to recover.
Like, what happened New Year's Eve happened on New Year's Eve. We put Italia in her bed. And who went to go get her? Me or you? Who went to go get her?
I remember New Year.
You picked her up and you brought her back in the bed. Oh, after we were done. Yes, you did.
After we had sex. Yes, because we already had sex.
Well, appears the seal wanted to have it again. So here's the thing. These we have. We have. I have watched friends of ours. Like, I mean, think about this. If our girls were sleeping on our bed, would we even have an opportunity at it?
No.
No.
But here's. Here's kind of this last year, like, because Garrett and I would spend time together, we actually even. He worked inside of my business for a while. And so it's like there's different roles you play inside of whatever environment it is. So, like, if we were working together, right. I was with him. He's my best friend. He's my partner, but I'm not his lover in that role. Right, Right. And so it's. Then there's, like, when he's with me and I'm with the kids, I'm kind of mother. I'm very. And then there', like, me, like, seductive Danielle. So there's different roles in different environments, right? And for me to feel balanced and connected, I have to set myself up to, like, okay, I'm in mom mode. Okay, Now I'm in wife mode. Now I'm in business mode. And even if we spend an immense amount of time together, it's about connection versus time. And so whenever I have felt a little bit off with Garrett, even if I've, like, seen him all week, I'm like, why do I feel a little bit, like, disconnected? Even if we had wild sex, I'm like, we had really good sex, but I'm feeling, like, a little bit empty. And so then I'm like, okay, I need to be. I need to go back to being fed from him. I need to feel that connection again. And everybody's situation is going to be, like, a little bit different. So, like, I. Like, I said, like, this last year was kind of crazy for us because I. We had, like. I felt like we hit, like, every box and we look like the perfect couple. And yet I was like, I want more.
We weren't hiding anything either. We were very open. It's just there was a new thing that opened up for us.
But. But I feel like this. This almost like this stewardship to other entrepreneurial couples to be like, hey, you can create whatever you want. And the goal in this game is to stay connected. And if you can stay connected, you're going to have more reach. You can do it alone, but you go further and faster together. And I believe that couples that actually figure it out together are going to have the most impact right now. They just are.
Right?
But we have to not just, like, run businesses and homes. We have to actually become one and stay connected.
Do you think we. Do you think we have to get a therapist?
You should be with other therapists.
Like, I told Garrett, I was like, people work.
I'm serious. Our therapist is like, I'm like.
And they're making. Date nights are working on their marriage. I'm like, date nights are not working on your marriage. Date nights are a time to relax, have fun, and have fun. I'm like, you're not going to have tough conversations. And so for me, I'm like, therapy has been like a working session to where any. No different than you would have a working team meeting to discuss hard topics with your team. Now you're like, hey, like, I want to talk about the. The kid situation in the bed. And instead of getting Triggered and be like, well, you took her out of her bed or you took her. The therapist going to be like, okay, calm down. And you're actually, actually going to not circle conversations and have resolutions of conversations. So actually we've had a great amount of success this year of not therapy, but having working sessions inside of our marriage. And I would recommend it to anybody.
Never thought about it.
It actually helps a lot because if you look at the environments you guys are in, and what's the same for us is like, there's the work environment, right? And the truth is, without the work environment, we probably wouldn't have lasted. So when you asked me like I'm during your individual podcast earlier today, like, like, how did you make it through? Like, from the affair to like the time to the destitution to the financial ruin to everything. Like, we connected on her business. Like, without that connection, we didn't really have any conversation. It was just anger and rage and fighting and disconnection and frustration. So you guys have the business conversation, you have the business war. But here's the crazy part. Part, like you two are something outside of that, right? This is a moment where you like driven the mortgage company, the mortgage guy, all of it. It's all. It all. It's all the podcast, the per. The event driven the event with everybody cool that comes in them all. Because if it all blows away, it's YouTube.
I, I agree.
And that's where you were before. And we forget that on the way up. And you're watching it happen right now. People you thought cared about you, people that said they would have your back forever gone. People that said they were loyal, people said they cared. People said they would, they would cover you. People that you poured into, you gave money to, you gave your heart to. The minute got spicy.
They're gone.
Not only gone on the worst is the ones that all they keep running their mouth and causing problem. That's a I went through in 08. That's why I was like, you, you, you and you and you and you and all of you, right? And it was hard because I was like, dude. The worst part though, bro, is it during all that you I had going on, I was getting further and further and further and further and further from her. Like, this could be opportunity for you two to not only get the kids out of the bed, but an opportunity for you two to be like back to back. Sexually, mentally, spiritually, emotionally, everything in a way. Never. Because all these people are getting out of the way.
True.
And these three kids are Going to be in their own bedroom.
Finally for one once.
What are you thinking, Albert? Just a thinking some right now.
I, I, I like the way you put it. I think that's a good reel right there. And like the, these people we. Cuz I, I hired John Maxwell as a, as a mentor and I paid him like 400,000 more or less. I flew him private and I spent like three hour one on one sessions with him and then he came to speak at our event. Event. And it's because when 2021 happened, I mean 2022, the market shifted and changed the mortgage and real estate.
Right.
So I saw two things that could happen. We're going to go out of business like 2008 or we're going to fight and pivot and figure out a solution. So everybody's acting weird. People that we gave Chanel purses to Rolex watches, flew them private, took him to the, to the Virgin Islands, to Puerto Rico, gave lend them money, lend them the Ferrari, flew their families. We just, we just did. So I can go on and on but we spending so much money and resources let them sleep over at our house. So many things. And then they betrayed us and then they're pieces of we did so much for them and then they, and now they're talking bad about us when we did nothing but give them a lot. So I hired John Maxwell because I wanted to give, I wanted to get better in leadership and I know he's the best in leadership when it comes to that. He's the, the legend in leadership. So I asked John, John, did I do anything bad? Like am I doing something bad? Is it bad to just give, give, give, give and, and, and then what about when people betray you and, and then they backstab you and then they're talking about you when they still owe you money.
Right.
You know, and it's not the wildest and, and, and then John Maxwell told me one thing that I'll never forget. He said, hey Albert, always give, give, give, give and continue to give because there's going to be a lot of new people that are good people that are going to come into your life and there's going to be a lot of bad people that life is going to take away. So keep giving. Never change who you are and keep giving because you're, if you stop, you're gonna miss out on new opportunities and new good people coming into your life. So when you said this right now earlier, like it just connected, you know, Consider this also.
Let's go John Maxwell, like 2024 Garrett J. White edition. John Maxwell is amazing. He's old.
Yeah, yeah.
He comes from an old school generation of dudes.
Right.
Their theology and their way of operating served for a long period of time. The principles of this man are brilliant, divine, eternal, the application in a modern world fallen flat. No different than the church. You're in a world where people don't operate the way they did 20 years ago. Human beings don't engage with each other. Right. The principles that Maxwell threw down 20 years ago. There was a code of conduct in the way human beings operated. So different than, like, the way war used to be. You line up, I line up. You shoot, I shoot. There's code of conduct in war. A lot of those guys teaching the principles they taught taught in an environment where that was the case. We're now living in guerrilla warfare.
Hmm.
So we line up and you play by the rules.
Right?
Nobody's playing by the rules.
So true.
There's no truth. There's no loyalty. There's no honor. There's no code of conduct. So the problem is, a contract is only as good as a person who signs it.
Yeah.
An agreement's only as good as a person who speaks it. So we can play up this higher road, for sure, but we also have to recognize you're playing in a dark world of guerrilla warfare fair. Where people are up. Yeah.
Yeah.
And it's happening all around us. They're up. You can sing worship songs. You can be happy. You can this. But in the end, people are up. So, you know. Okay, what does that mean? So here's the thing I had to come to terms with. I pour all this energy into these people and are gone. What if I poured into her and so many years I'd poured so much into men and other people in our world who were gone. The minute got spicy. And guess who's here the whole time? Her. And that was when things started switching for me. So amidst the giving, giving, giving. I agree with you. But you're also playing in a game. That's different.
Yeah.
And at the same time, she. She is the greatest asset to this entire empire.
She'll be your killer.
She's your killer. She's your lover. She's your stripper. She's your woman. She's your mother. She's your everything.
So true.
And I. And I couldn't see that in Danielle forever. So I keep buying, pouring in all these people. And I kept assuming the positive gain game. But then there's a real game. Most human beings are selfish as right Most people lie majority. Most people manipulate and say whatever they feel they need to say to get the best of what they want. And the minute they no longer get it, they will be gone.
Right?
Ends when there's nothing left to take, you know.
You know Tim Grover?
Yeah.
So he calls me all the time. And he called me recently.
I don't know him. I know who he is.
So, so he told me. He told me. I told him about, like, things that have been going on weird with weird people. And he said, hey, Albert. Hey, man. He's always like, so, like, he's always so positive.
He's like, yeah, man.
Yeah, man. You know, he. He coached the Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant. So they gotta listen.
He knows what he's talking about.
So he tells me, loyalty stops. This is his words. I'm quoting. He told me over the phone. He called me on my cell phone. I'm at the Hotel Bel air. It's about 9:30pm we had some Pepinos Revenges. We had some. Some food. Pepino's Revenges are really good. They're tequila drinks. You'll love them. And. And I'm feeling relaxed, happy, little buzzed. And he tells me, and I tell him about, like, certain things that have been going on with the companies. And he's saying, and. And he says, albert, loyalty. And he speaks loyal. He's like. And he repeats it, albert, loyalty stops when there is nothing more to take. And he repeats it, loyalty stops when there is nothing more to take. And then, and then we're like.
Then he came and told me. He's like, this is what he told me. And I was like, that.
He's a man of a few words. He always calls me like two minute conversations randomly.
Right?
Brilliant. So when I saw this with my team and I saw this in life, this is what shifted our marriage to want versus need. This is what shifted our teams and our perception of our teams from want to need. So my teams are very clear, I want you here.
I don't need you.
And the minute you don't want to be here, goodbye. I don't need you. I'm driven. I'm going to build with or without you. If you want to be on this game, it's because you want to. Because it's in your best interest. And the minute it's not your best interest, get the fuck out. Don't about it. Don't whine about it. Just go. Move on.
Just go.
But if you want to be here, I'll fight for you and I'll fight with you, but you need to want to be here. But this changed our marriage, too. Talk about what that was like when we started shifting into wanting versus needing.
It's a couple crazy place to be. Because at some level, you're like, I've got nothing to lose. It's just, like, wild. You're like, I don't. I don't need you. And so it makes you have a more conscious effort. Effort to cross the line for that person.
Right.
Right. I say, like, I'm never going to change Garrett, but I'm going to show up in a way that he's going to hear me, where I can communicate to him. So I'm going to, like, look inwards with, like, how I communicate to you and how I speak to you, even. And so it's just crazy because it just, like, changes the dynamic where it's like, you look inward. It's not even about, like, the relationship becomes want versus need, which in turn drops the ego and makes you look inward and cross the line for your partner. It's wild. And it's just. It's been really a fun experience for me that I never even knew that I was missing because I'm such a perfectionist and such, like, a checklist person. And I'm like, we're being raised in a very religious culture. It's like, everything's kind of, like, compartmentalizing in a box. So the minute I feel like I'm in a box, I'm in this place where I question everything. I'm like, well, what if. Why am I feeling this way? What am I missing? So it's just. It's a being in their space in relationship where you're, like, wanting versus needing. It really opens up your mind to everything, whether it's with your kids or with business and just kind of really creating what you want. So it's. I mean, it's. It's been. It's been kind of scary. It's very polarizing, right? Because Garrett and I are like. I'm like, fuck you. And he's like, fuck you. And I'm like, oh, okay, we're both choosing to be here, so let's. Let's figure it out. Let's figure it out together. Right?
It's a wild proposition to sit and think her. And I've sat and had this talk. I'm like, it's not like there's a lack of men who wouldn't want to be with you.
Right?
And in reality, I've told her so. I was like, and in reality, there's probably not. Probably guaranteed some men in their late 50s fit news kids 10 times more money than me, who are very emotionally stable, very level headed, and would give you everything that you want and desire.
Here's the thing though, like, except for polarity, but also too like, I feel like you and I are called to build something. And do you? I feel like I see that in you guys. Yeah, I'm here to work together. It's not even, yeah, you're married. Married, you have kids and that, but there's something inside of you that you're like, we are business partners and it goes beyond this world. You are called to build something together, right? And as long as you can stay connected and building something together, like when you build it and it goes massive like you're already doing, you'll at the end of it, you won't be like, all the other entrepreneurs are like, well, we built this and now we like hate each other and we're going to be divorced.
Right?
Because you keep that connection. You're called to build something together while keeping things connected. Right? So.
So that's kind of what is driven to you.
Driven is basically helping people reach their full potential. Because I feel like so many people operate so much below what they're actually capable of, you know, and for me and for him, I know, it just feels so good like when someone comes to you and says, dude, you changed my life. And we're up there like, who was it? What's her name? The tax girl? I always forget her name. Pamela. Pamela. This girl is like, she's like, still your Rolls Royce is the first one I sat in. And it's been on my dream board. And at this last driven, I even let her come on stage because we were like shocked. You know, sometimes, you know, people drift off or whatever, they lose track of what they're doing, but she's like, I'll show you. And she showed us everything. And she just had her first event. She called us and she's like, oh my God. I don't know how you guys do it because our event is Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the big one. She had a one day event and she was going crazy. I'm like, yeah, but like, like it's because of people like her that it's like you're part of their success, part of their journey. And I don't think anything feels better. I'm a giver, naturally. I've had to kind of stop myself sometimes because I, I have very high expectations, super high. And I do not Drop my standards for anybody, not even him. Like, nobody. Right? But it's like when people come to you and they're like, so you changed my life. And knowing that we help them get to that level and then more and more and more like, like, it feels so good. I love giving. Like, I'm a super giver, but now with boundaries, because really, people suck.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And like you said, it's a totally different world. It's this social media world world. There's people I personally know and they owe me money and they're dead broke on social media. They're super rich. And I'm like, albert, did you see? Like, it's crazy and it's scary because people believe anything. So it's like, like what? Where's the world?
So driven by impact in like 100%.
Business owners, really, we can all achieve the same.
I, I, I, I just see that everybody, like every visionary, you got to be driven to complete that vision. So I feel like everybody can be successful, but if they're not driven, they're not going to get anywhere in life.
Right?
Yeah.
So like I, and, and I know that some people grew up with pain. Some people have a chip on their shoulder.
Shoulder.
But that pain, and if you want to get past that pain and use it as motivation to complete and, and, and you cast a vision and you have your dreams. If you're not driven, you're not going to get it. David Goggins has, has said that he's driven and that you have to be driven. Steve Jobs driven. Like everybody, you, you guys have said that word. So like, drive gets you anywhere in life you want to be in. So I feel like anybody, like, if, if I, like, I see myself and, and I think people relate to me because you have Tony Robbins, you have Grant Cardone, and you have a lot of, you have Garrett White, you have Bradley, you had, you have a lot of people. Right. But I think what makes me more proud and if I can share this with everybody is that I am proof that, hey, it doesn't matter if you're, you're brown, black, white, if you grew up with esl, like as an ESL student, if you grew up as a special ed student. Because I was a special ed student, former special ed student. If I was able to do it after all that stuff, because I was driven because I never gave up, like, anybody can do it. So I am proof for that. That's why I feel like a lot of people relate to me that, that maybe came from another country and they look for that person that's going to be that civilization, self, self help, mentor and an example. And, and I pride myself in that because I feel like my obligation is to not let my people down. And, and I just can. We're forced now to keep going just like we were forced to get married. Now we're forced to run these businesses and grow them because we cannot let our people down. And, and it's, it's the power of, of, of. Of being driven.
Yeah, I love that message because I feel like if you are driven like you, you're driven enough to believe that you can actually impact the world.
Right?
Like last year, you, you guys went through a lot and you got through a lot because you both were driven.
Love it.
A lot of this drive is, it comes from this internal source. Like, like the, the further away from God and the universe and the power of this divine source inside of us, the further away I got from it, the less drive came through me.
Yeah, right.
Versus from me. Right. And there's a battery life in my experience too, like being able to manage and create us, to be able to create the kingdom, to be able to maintain the kingdom the same as you guys. And so there's this peace coming through us that when it's not there, I can still create. But it ends us up, Albert, in the place we were in last March, which is we create in this world. But to what end? Yeah, to this hollowness at the end. With children that I love, that I'm connected to, with a wife that I love that I'm connected to. And yet this, this film of hollowness and seems to sit around everything. This hole in my soul that doesn't seem to fill itself, no matter how much I drink, no matter how much I make, no matter how big I get. And my experience, like God contracts the game to help us see something. I'm going to share them with you two sitting here, that's like going to be a bit of a contradiction to everything that you built. The world you're called into has nothing to do with banking.
That's, that's the same thing that a, A friend billionaire that I met not too long ago, he, he told me that, like, it's, it's your kink. He said it's your kink.
Banking and real estate has power in it and limitations. But who you two are, it's like you understand, this was a world I came from. Two Danielle's felt this even with hair in the last couple years. She's like, I, I love hair. I Love.
Is that why you have a. A good hairpiece?
This Danielle has a question about this. She doesn't really like this hairpiece too much.
I don't like his haircut, but I don't cut men's hair anymore.
I just do hair I want with a little change. Change up.
I was like, I don't know what is wrong.
Yeah, I don't know what I'm doing with it either. I'm just going for it.
He has great hair. And I'm like, what is this haircut? It's like a wind tunnel. I don't know.
I just. Doing this thing. 1990s, 1990s style. Look at that right there. No, just because I can.
It's like the Elvis look.
Exactly. It's a little 1990s with the middle throw hawk on the back. It's a change up.
Like, it. It looks like, really slick. Like, nice. Like. Like if a slimy giraffe licked his hair.
Like, yeah, like. And then it's like a mohawk or a mullet. And then the back, he, like, came home and I was like, what happened?
I don't know what I'm doing. I'm still trying to figure out who I'm going to be when I grow up with my hair. I don't know what it's doing. It's got no style. I don't know what product to use. It's just doing its own thing. Hey, here's what Amriada, though. You're bigger than all these. That's why Driven itself is the brand.
Yeah.
Like, and the minute you guys see that these other things that you're doing again, you can tell me to off and I'm an idiot. No, it's. Whatever. But this is like. Like, men come into my world and women come into my world because of what I see in them in this. It's like the piece that you're in. I watch individuals in the world I'm in in coaching and consulting who are 1% of the capacity and power that you two are as a couple. And the power teams that you have. You guys got a Yayu crowd. You have people who are loyal, that are committed, like my Yayu crowd. They're people who are sold out to a cause. And the reality is they're all waiting. Yeah, they're all waiting for you to do the thing God's actually called you to do. The only reason I'm here became very clear in the last 30 seconds to activate in you to what God's called you to do. All of this. Was preparation. The contraction is so you can actually rise to do the thing you're called to do, to speak God's word into the world, to do it. But you can't do it apart.
Right.
You have to do it together with. This is the new game.
Yes.
The new game is not individual powerhouse speakers. It's unified couples speaking in harmony with God's truth through them showing what is possible.
Right.
You two in this place is what you've been called into you. We played the same game. I ran the game, the gauntlet that you two are running right now. I ran this gauntlet. You're doing it sexier than I did, for sure. Way sexier. And you have a window. Does that mean burn it? No.
Right?
Doesn't mean burn it. No different than it doesn't mean burn the hair industry. It means open up and say, hey, maybe driven and these podcasts and everything we're doing. Maybe all this and we're playing. Maybe the reason why we've continued to hold on and the reason why these other companies had to constrict was because they were eclipsing the ability to see God's calling on your life to the purpose. Driven is in an idea. Driven to movement. Right now. It's an event. Make it a movement. That's why anyone runs with you. Everybody that's gone didn't buy into the movement.
Right.
They didn't buy into the energy of awakening. They didn't buy into the call link. Everyone that's here that stayed their souls know. And the minute you to choose that as a couple, as a company, this place can be filled with Latinos majority who also know part of their call.
Yeah.
Is to be part of this legion that you're building.
Right.
And we'll back you. We'll support you. We want to be part of helping you do that. If in whatever way possible.
If Garrett White was Mexican, he would be Garrett Brown.
Yes. Garrett Brown would be my name in a deep way. Like, you guys are like. I. I just. I. Everything you have going on here, like, speaks to the way you operate, how you. How you operate with us. It's just pure. It's amazing. It's beautiful. Thank you.
We feel mutual. It's mutual. The feeling that we have for you guys. Guys. And, And. And I think that you. You both. And you guys can correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm. I. I know it like, I think you. You both made it like last year. And I know you. You've. You've known forever, but I think you both are best friends yourselves. Like you. You don't want to let your best friend down and you don't want to let your best friend down.
Yep. Yeah.
Well, we get up and fight every day.
Yep.
And the fight.
The lover part. The lover part and the soul part and the connected part. Like all this is part of it. And it's hard getting wrapped up in the business. So project number one.
Get the kids out of.
Get the kids out of the bed. How are we going to get these kids out of bed?
I can totally make it happen. I think we've both kind of been resisting you guys.
Both like the kids in the bed.
I know, I get it. I love the kids.
Yeah, but.
But sometime she don't. So now like balance, like let's go wake him up.
But he's not like a TV watcher or anything. So I'm like, let's watch a movie with the kids. Yeah. Five minutes later he's like, you sleeping? Yeah.
She does that on purpose.
Yeah.
Cuz she knows I'm a fall asleep.
Yeah. That's Garrett.
So I love movies and I hate watching movies twice. So I'm like please stay awake. So we have to do it during the day. Like if I actually want to watch something with them.
Yeah, we minutes and then we're both.
Stay awake in the day. In the morning. In the morning.
Morning.
In the morning.
Yeah.
Watching movies in the morning.
No, he. If we ever wanted to, we'll go like during the day.
So. So like a Saturday or a Sunday is when we have our, our day where I stay home.
Yeah.
Cuz I come, I. I leave the house six times a week. So I come to the office and I work out and things like that. But same but one day out of the week we stay home whether it's a Saturday or Sunday. And then we. And our day is like our cheat day TV and so I'll work till 12 at from home though. And then we'll watch a movie 12 o' clock or 11 o' clock depending on. On the day. But once a week we do that and that's the only way I stay awake for a movie. Like if I, if I watch a movie in the night, it has to be like extreme violent violence sex for me to stay awake. Oh, boxing. I'll stay awake. But movies, you put a movie and I fall asleep.
Yeah.
Especially the movie she wants to watch.
Much loving. No book style. No rain. Love affairs. Fifty Shades of Gray.
It depends. It depends. We saw that one together.
Fifty Shades of Gray.
Yeah.
Those are The Danielle's read five books.
No, I love fifty Shades of Gray.
Fifty Shades Gray.
Like, you're wasting your life away. I'm like, baby, I just wanted to watch a show. It's 45 minutes. He's, like, getting mad at me.
I'm like, babe, watch a podcast.
I know. Literally, he'll like, do you want to watch a podcast or read a book? I'm like, no, I want to watch this stupid show. Leave me alone.
That's why I'm watching it.
Yeah, right.
So how do. How do people actually, like, connect with you, with how much you have going on? Is the best way to do this is through social media? Is the best way for them to come to an event? Is the best way for them to come work for you? Like, what. What is the. What is the play here?
Probably we'll come work with. Come work with us. But number one is they could always just Google Albert Preciado. Or my favorite one is just DME on Instagram.
Right.
Beautiful.
Are your events only for, like, people in the mortgage industry or.
No, not at all. No, it's for entrepreneurs. So 90 of my audience are Latino Americans. So Americans, but Latino Americans, whether it's Mexican Americans or Colombian Americans, Argentinian Americans, even European Americans, but it's. I guess it's just because I come from Mexico. My parents were born in Mexico and they. They actually, I think they made me over there, but I was born here, so I'm like super Mexican because I didn't speak English till I was six, because they did. They taught me Spanish here, even though I was born here. But most of our audience are Latino Americans and millennials because. Because I'm a millennial. Barely made it to be a millennial. So Latino American millennial entrepreneurs is. Is what Mostly driven is filled with. And we teach people like, hey, how do you. How do you become a millionaire? How do you start your business? How do you drive Ferraris, Rolls Royces? How do you have a dream life? How do you get a mansion over there? Like, like the white family, you know, how do you. How do you get that stuff? So we teach him like how we did it from scratch, because we opened seven companies from scratch, three went out of business, four main it to be multi million dollar companies. And we did it knowing zero. So we made so many mistakes and we lost millions of dollars. And fortunately we invested in real estate where we had $2 million of equity. We sold everything to survive. And because of. We went down to the last penny and we sold all our properties and then the last. The last. Our last chance was in. In the fountain blue 2018. I told. So, hey, so, yo, we're going to sell this house. I have this great investment idea. She starts crying because I have her cards maxed out, my credit cards maxed out, and we're having drinks at the fountain blue 40 drinks like nothing. And I'm just like, I'm trying to trick her thinking that, oh, I have another great idea. After we sold 17 properties out of 18, we have one left. And she knows it's. And she knows I need to sell because I need to money. So we. We were. We sold all our properties like every other month because we needed the money to fund the mortgage company, the real estate company. And I told her, just give me one last shot. And then she gave me that last shot. And after that last shot, everything started working out little by little. And then we just started doing better and better and better. But if I would have given up that last shot, then we wouldn't be here right now.
Yeah.
So I think driven is for people that have hope, that have a vision. Vision. That want to make that vision a reality. We help them get through there, but they have to execute.
And from the queen, what are your thoughts on this?
I mean, look, I'm a big believer in, you know, good things for good people, and life is really what you make it. But I really believe that if you're in the right environment with the right people, like, you know, driven networking is everything. You never know who you're going to meet. Right. So. So it's a matter of surrounding yourself with the right positive, pma, positive mental attitude people. Because the reality is, is you become who you're around. And that's just what it is, you know, whether we want to say yes or no. Like, it's reality. And of course, if you grow up in a bad environment, you could always get out of it. Right? So for us, I'm like, we. We just love empowering people. Couples especially, you know, we know a lot of couples, like, like, we're pretty. Like, we almost never fight, you know, but it's just been. I'm telling you, the last. Like, my grandma passed away. She's like my mom. Just like everything. It was just like, wham, wham, wham, wham. And I'm like, albert, what the is happening? Like, it was just wild from every angle, you know? So I was like, okay, as long as we're good, because, you know, he does his thing and I do my thing, but, you know, at home, I'm like, we have a family, we have our kids, and we just want to be better. And. And I know we have to get the kids out of the bed. That's the one thing that I'm like, okay, how could I fix this? Right? Cuz like you said, one day it's just going to be him and him and I again, right? Hopefully you do a great job and your kids come back home for the holidays. But, you know, there's no guarantee on that, right? So for me, I'm like, dude, I just want to be happy. I'm going to, you know, have a lot of fun with him, have a lot of sex, help people grow and, and just truly be happy because people are miserable. Like, I know so many couples, like you said, I'm like, like, dude, we've like, kept people, like, married even. You know, we're like coaching them. Most of them aren't even here with us anymore. But I'm like, people are so they lie to themselves. And like me, I'm very alpha. He's alpha. So I'll be like, hey, Albert, like X, Y and Z. Like, I don't like this or this isn't working out or how are we fixing this? Like, we're very open with one another. I think that's also helped us grow and just push through anything. Because doing everything together is a lot. It's a lot of work work, you know, and you don't want to not have quality time just because I was in the office all day and he was on that side, I was on this side, I was running around, he's doing his thing, you know, so I'm like, okay. And that's it. Being connected with one another.
So I love that you guys say that you're best friends because I think when goes sideways, you connect on that level, you know, and you can come back and you can have all the cars in the house and everything. But really, it's like you want to be with each other. And so that. That's what I see in you guys and that that's inspiring to other people because like you said, there's so many marriages that they don't even want to be in that marriage.
Well, you saw how many divorces during COVID when people were working remote. No, people hate each other and they just stay married because it's easy. And I always say, not easy. Well, they would rather that than leave someone. And because you would rather lie to yourself than. I guess people care a lot what people think about them. I don't care what People think about me probably a little more than him. He really doesn't care. But people would rather lie to themselves.
And stay there and experience exposed.
Insane, though. I'm just like, I would rather be by myself. I tell people, like, I would rather get a divorce at 50 or 60 or whatever.
Somebody you want to be with.
Of course. Like, no, thank you. I like being by myself, even though I never get to anymore. But I love being by myself. I'm totally cool with myself by myself.
So you're in a relationship of want and not need, right? Yeah.
Right.
Well, it's fun to get to know you guys more. I feel like we, like, took so much of your time, and we were three hours late coming to the podcast. But thank you for inviting us and having us here. Garrett and I genuinely. We always joke around. We're like, we're not social, but we love connecting with people.
Right.
And we. We only put time into people that we actually feel kind of like a vibe with. And I see that in you guys. And so it's, like, fun to be here in this studio, even though we've taken so much of your time, because it's just like hanging out with friends. Yeah. So, you know, this is the day you write podcast. Hopefully everybody listening got a laugh or some Valley Value. We don't know value.
We had a lot of value.
This was. This was exactly how this show needed to be.
I never know, but it was a good one. I felt like it was a good one.
So check them out. We're gonna put all the links here with the show, follow Albert, and follow the entire Preciado family and all of their endeavors here. Also at Driven. If you feel like this is a place for employment and you are a Latino Americano that lives here in the United States, are looking for. For employment, well, this could be a place to look. If you're a salesperson, you are a hustler. You're a grinder inside that game. You follow us at any level. And I've just been too white, pasty, and too loud for you. But guess what? We've got. We've got options for you. It's enough. This has been exactly the case. I have a. I have a whole. We've done a bunch of different things inside Warrior with black men coming in and doing things with me. And we'll have all these black men on my list and, like, go hang out with them, and they'll be like, bro, all these guys came from you. And I was like, well, what did they tell you? They're Like, I. He was just too loud, too crazy white. He was just too. He was just too much of a crazy white boy. I was like, okay, that. Fair enough. I get it. I understand it.
Okay.
So Jack, about follow social media. You know what to do there too. They've done lives. They're running content every single day as well as our driven event that's coming up. You guys have an event this year? You just had a last year.
Every year. Yeah, every year. So we have the business boot camp. That one's going to be in May. And then we have the driven event, which is going to be like, late October, early November.
How would they find out more about the driven event?
Just driven event.com.
Driven event. Well, easy enough. Driven event.com didn't even have to buy. What was the other one Driven. What we were looking at buying camp Driven. No, that. There was a domain you were looking at buying. It was like $5,000.
Oh, that. That. That. That one is just between me and you.
Okay. All right. That's right. That's right. That was offset. That was off. You don't get to know about that one. For the rest of you also watching. You know how it goes here, Date your wife. We have a. The date wife experience. You can check that out. It's an amazing weekly experience that happens inside of our Warrior launch free membership. So every week, hundreds of couples come together, talking about kind of like this podcast, this experience of being married, having kids, running businesses, being alive, and being in the game of wanting each other to gain access to that call every single week, as well as all the tools for free with war. You can check that out.
Wake up, warrior.com and Garrett and Daniel, like, I learned a lot today day from you guys, but I have, like, two key takeaways that I'm going to implement right away from the. From the date, from the relationship tips that you gave us.
So. Good.
Really appreciate that.
Good. What are they two.
To get the. The girls out of the room.
Yes.
And also to. For us to find our. To connect more. Like on the other level.
Yes.
Yeah.
Yeah.
On the soul level.
You said the word. The sex sexy word.
This. The sexy soul level.
Yeah, the soul.
The soul level.
Connect more in the soul level.
Yes.
And.
And.
And then the kids, not. Not kicking them out because it sounds bad, but giving them their space and then giving us our space. Because, like, I think one thing you nailed is what happens if 10 years from now they leave us and then we break up? Then all of this for nothing.
Right?
Right. All of it for nothing. And we're going to hook you up with a therapist because I think it'll be super good for you guys. He's great and it'll help you in a massive way. Just be able to have dialogue in a ways. And you just schedule during the day and like, it's Tuesdays at this time during the office.
Well, thank you so much, because a lot of people see us on social media and they think that you guys are perfect and they think we are perfect and we have everything figured out, but the truth is that nobody ever has everything figured out now.
Well, I'm glad you could be here on the show and be honest with that and be able to experience it. And for all the watching, you're not alone. Guess what? Being married, it's a little tricky, and at the same time, it's absolutely worth it. So if you think that the best option is to get divorced and go hit that Tinder button, well, good luck. That'll be fun for a bit. Until you get an STD and you realize it's not better on the other side of the fence. It's actually a lot of power in being married and being committed to one person and finding that. Just like you find here on the DY Podcast. Podcast. So we're out. You're amazing. We're done, and we'll see you guys here next week.
Bye.
