Hello and welcome to the Date youe Life podcast. I am Danielle White and this is my co host, Mr. Garrett White. Hey. Yay. Yay.
Garrett who? Excuse me, who did you introduce? Garrett who?
Garrett J. White.
Thank you.
So formal. And this is his green smoothie, Warrior Greens.
Warrior Greens, now available. We actually started releasing this just in the last three or four days. So at the time we're recording this show, you can check it out@warriorgreens.com I might talk more about it. I'm going to have it here in the show. It's going to be here every single time because, well, it's my newest, favorite exciting thing, which is a Warrior Greens powder green supplement supporting men and women if they'd like to use it, but supporting primarily men in their core game. It does.
I'm just going to have like my hairline draped. Crossed you.
Could you have your hairline draped? It's called on your head. I mean, what could I do? Just attach my green smoothies to my head?
I need it in like some fancy. I need it in like the packages so people can see.
Listen, I mean, I. I guess technically I'm carrying my Warrior Greens product already because I drank it this morning. I drank it every single morning and it's sitting in my gut. But we're back here for the podcast. You abandoned the podcast for a few months. You completely abandoned it.
I'm sorry.
Talk to us about why you abandoned the podcast.
Human. And I. You know what though? I was doing podcasts. Even I have a. Another podcast that's my business podcast for hairstylist called Big Money Stylist. And I actually was doing that podcast clear up until the end of my pregnancy. I just had a baby girl. She's 10 weeks old today, right? Is it today?
10 weeks today? Today's a Wednesday. Yep, 10 weeks today.
She's 10 weeks old today.
Two and a half months.
Two and a half months. Whew. Time goes so fast. But yeah, so towards the end of my pregnancy just got ugly real fast and I just. I don't know. And then we. Have we done any show? We did one show via cell phone from our house.
It was shitty talking.
Yeah, it was okay.
We weren't too committed.
No, we. Well, I'm so. My baby was like a week old and we just were like, oh, let's shoot something. I think we told the birth story and yeah, all that. So anyway, every. I'm healthy. Isla's happy and healthy. Got a 10 week old baby. Tonight is actually my first, no, my second night. On a date night without my baby. I. I've shared this on. I don't know if I've shared this on some of the other podcasts, but we hired a nanny, like, a month before Isla was born. We had a cute nanny and she went to be a flight attendant. And so then I hired another nanny that I, I. My other girls are older, but I wanted. With a new baby, obviously, and I work and that kind of thing. I just wanted help. So I hired a new nanny, and literally a week before Isla was born, she quit. She had to go. She had to move back to Mexico and be with her mom or whatever for health reasons. Anyway, so I was like, oh, shoot, okay. But I wasn't working at the time, and I was able to take time off and be with my girls. But long story short, I've been doing the whole ten week mom thing by myself, and Garrett's been a ton of. And we have a magical baby.
We do have a magical baby. But I think it's because I had a commitment. I had a commitment. So I set a 90 day challenge inside of my warrior challenge game.
Oh, yeah.
It was called Project Night Shift.
Yeah.
You and I announced this in front of roughly 100 of our highest level students inside of Wake Up Warrior. And I committed. I committed. I said for the next 12 weeks, which, of course, we are 10 weeks down on this challenge. And I am going to say that I have about a 95% effectiveness rate with this committed challenge. It's not going to be 100%, not every night, but I committed to watch take care of the night shift with my daughter. Which I have done. Which I have done.
No, I think we shared this on the other podcast, Garrett, Actually, the first week, like, it's kind of rough for a girl. Like, you're just like, whoa, like your body's recovering and you have this newborn and like, it's. It's pretty rough. So you, like, for the first probably like four nights, you were a champ.
And then I remember four nights.
No. And then I remember the whole first week. Let me keep going.
Okay, keep going.
No, it was four nights. I remember because I remember looking at you and I was like, babe, you. You look like you just had a baby. Like, you're.
Yeah, I had a baby out my eyeballs, they were, like, bloodshot red.
I was like, you. You look rough. And you're. You kept saying, like, I just need to meditate real quick. I just need to meditate. I need some warrior greens and meditate.
Some warrior greens and meditate. They'll solve it every time.
I was like, listen, I'm good. I'm like, you don't. I know you. And then I find out you made this challenge. And I was like. Cause you kept. You're like, no, I got this. I got this. And you're like, I made challenge. And then I was like, oh, my God, no, I'm not working right now. I do not expect you to do the night shift. That's silly. And I don't. Like, the night shift is rough, but it's like, there's some bonding moments in the night shift too, between, like, delirium and everything going on. So, anyways, long story short, our baby literally, like, starts, I would say, about three weeks in. She's getting some, like, good stretches of sleep. Like three to four hours by a month in. I'd put her to bed at 10 o' clock at night and she would sleep clear till 5 in the morning. Like, sometimes she'd wake up at 4, but it was like 5 and sometimes even like 6. Like, we'd look at each other like, oh, my God, somebody check on Isla. And like, I kept thinking it was like a fluke. I was like, there's no way a one month old baby is going to start sleeping through the night.
And yes, there is. When you're a powerful warrior man and you set a powerful warrior challenge, the universe conspires to support your efforts.
You know what, though? I am, I don't like not having sleep. And I'm.
I don't think many human beings do. I appreciate your sense of uniqueness there.
No, I should say, oh, dear God, I like sleep. I should say, I don't do well without sleep. Like, people that I work with make fun of me. I'm not much of a morning person. I need a good nine hours legit. Garrett needs six. I need nine. I like sleeping. So anyways, nine is just overkill. I mean, I can go off eight, but I just like nine hours.
But why, though? What does nine do?
It makes your skin look nicer. You should try it.
Is this really why you think it does? I think it makes your skin look better.
I don't know. I'm just saying that. But I am used to sleeping probably eight or nine hours anyways. So. For the first three weeks, though, I religiously, I sleep train pretty well. I'm not gonna lie. I sleep train my babies pretty well. I let them stretch out the eh, eh, eh, eh, eh. Like that can go on for hours. And I'm like, I will not get out of bed until they are crying, even if I'm awake.
But you're not notifying exactly what secret weapon we used in this process, which is, in true warrior fashion, ordered by my wife, me. Not sure. Is that how much the snoo is?
The snoo's like, $2,500.
$2,500. Greatest investment for a baby of all time. Of all time.
I had a friend slash client tell me to get it, and I was like, that's ridiculous to pay that for a bassinet. And then I got it, and I was like, that's a miracle for that bassinet. That's because it.
Like, that's the only way that you can do that.
You zip them in there, and they can't get. Because whenever I would my babies, they just get out of it, and then they're like. And so the snoo, you can, like, zip them in. It, like, softly rocks them and plays white noise. So anyway, we did that. Plus, I'm good at sleep training. Like, when they make the noises, I make them kind of stretch it out. I only feed, like, every three to four hours. If they go longer, I'm like, cool. They go longer. And I remember my first baby, I was so worried. I was like, they gotta be on a schedule. They gotta be on a schedule. So I would, like, wake my babies up every three hours, and now I'm like, I'm not waking her up. She can wake me up when she's hungry.
You. You also. Did you breastfed only about a week this time?
No, I didn't. I breastfed for three weeks.
Three weeks.
The three weeks.
Okay, so you breastfed for three weeks. So part of the challenge to take care of the night shift was I don't have. I don't have nipples that produce.
Like, in the beginning, I was like, there's. You were getting up, and I was like, you're like, no, I'm going to do the challenge. I. I committed to my guys. I was like, there's no reason.
I committed to myself, not the guys.
Okay. Well, I was like, there's no reason. I'm still getting up and pumping, like, in. In the. In the middle of the night. Like, I. Like, I'm engorged. Like, I cannot. I can't sleep anyways. And so I was like, so.
So.
And I'd rather just give my baby this milk. And you were like, okay. And so I kind of took over.
So things shift at week three. Yeah, she goes through the bottles now. I can take over full custody of the night shift. I took over a lot of the night shift.
Anyway, she starts sleeping through the night. Literally.
Of course. Of course. Because I commanded it.
No, I think because I kept stretching it out.
Listen, you can take full credit for this. You made the baby, you created the conditions of it. And I called in the powers that cannot be seen.
Anyways, we have a magic baby and.
She sleeps in the snoo. And let's continue. I deal with her at the nighttime. Except for the last week because I've been putting the other kids to bed. She's going to bed at 9, 9:30. Then I wake up with her. You don't have to get out of bed till 7 o'. Clock.
I know.
You go to bed at like 9:30. You don't get up till 7 o'. Clock. You're sleeping like nine and a half hours straight. With a child that's two and a half years, two and a half months old, this is unheard of. You're a unicorn. The baby's a baby unicorn. All thank God. Thank blessed. To the snoo. That's it. The snoo. So you want to check this out As a promotion to all couples with a baby called the Snu. She will not give full power to it, but the Snoo truly has been the life preserver. If we were a ship that was sinking in the middle of the fucking ocean. The snu is the giant flotation device upon which we ride and take a.
Smidge of credit just as much.
Listen, you're going to get the rest of the credit. The snu does not.
What's our topic on sex?
So topic is sex? It is. It is. The topic is sex. Because here's the deal. Our topic. We're getting back focused with our structure. Our show was amazing when we had structure. Then we went to a little bit of. Now we're getting back to structure. We talked about sex, we talked about money, we talked about communication and we talked about kids. We did those four topics. Actually, it was sex, money.
I think structure gets boring.
And communication. No, it does not. And then we went to Free Flow. And then you get done with the show and you're like, oh my God, this show is bad. And then we don't publish half of them. So. Yeah. Which you guys didn't know this. We don't publish half our shows because Danielle gets an opinion about that show was shitty.
There was two shows we didn't.
One, we were drunk. I'm not going to lie to you.
We were on our way home. It was like 10:39. I was like, we should definitely do a podcast right now.
That was a horrible idea.
And then we get here, and I was like, I don't know if what we're saying is making any sense.
Yeah, it wasn't. It was. It was not going to make anyone happy. We were already feeling complete shame over the entire.
I was like, literally, like, I'm pretty buzzed. But I don't think Garrett's that buzz. He can carry the show. And I was like, he can't carry the show.
No, I couldn't carry it. So I kept tossing it back. It was like throwing a ball. It was like playing cats with a ball.
I kind of wanted to rewatch it. And then I was like, I'm so ashamed. Please don't air that file.
All right, so let's talk about sex. So listen, here's the deal. We. We. We got into. We got into a bit of a maneuver, a bit of a challenge with the topic of sex. So I had. I had kind of had this. I had this other challenge, which was don't be a dick while your wife's pregnant challenge. That's what it was called.
You know what, though, too? Like, I had a rough pregnancy probably the last three months.
Well, yeah, had your blood or your. Your. Your.
But not only, like, it might, like.
You had your preeclampsia. You had a baby in you.
Yeah, it was rough.
Yeah, it was rough. Okay, so listen, we don't have sex, like, at all, like, in the last couple months, and that's fine. So. But the point was, for me, like, I had gotten my mind has at a man. I was like, okay, I gotta make a commitment. It's like the nighttime commitment. I'm gonna not be a dick at any stretch in the imagination when it comes to the topic of sex while my wife is pregnant. Now the baby's done, baby's out.
You know what, though?
And what?
Like, a lot of times with sex, and even in the past, it wasn't that you were like, oh, like, being a dick about it. Like, you would almost kind of like. And I've said this in some other podcasts, like, not, like, kind of like pouty pouty, but almost just, like, irritated at anything I did. And I'm like, why am I being punished right now? Like, what is.
You were being punished because I was being pouty.
Yeah.
So I punish you when I'm pouty.
But what I want to give you credit for is during this time, and I think I told you I was like, hey, like, thank you for not, like, acting like a douchebag. Like, thank you for not only, like, giving me space, but not being pouty or rude or, like, you know what I mean? You were less edgy. Like, I just. I think you were very sympathetic. And it was just like. I was like, oh, thank you. Because, like, I don't. I think that women, we. With the whole sex card, like, there's a lot of times we feel even, like, kind of guilty. We're like, oh, shit. It's been, like, a few days. And there's like. It's kind of like the mommy guilt. It's the sex guilt for.
You don't feel guilty for a few days. Maybe a few weeks.
No bullshit.
After a few days, you start to feel the signal.
After, like, three days, I'm like, oh, God, really?
Really? But why are you feeling like, oh, God? Like, it's like, you've got to. You know, someone's got to shove needles under your eyelids.
It's not like, oh, God, like, I don't want to have sex. It's like, oh, God. Like, it's. I feel like a drift. Like, I. Not even that I, like, have. I like having sex. So I'm kind of like, the guilt sets in because I know that the drift may occur between both of us, not because I'm like, oh, I have to have sex. Like, it's just like, it's the drift. I mean, there may have been a point in our marriage where I'm like, oh, God, I have to have sex. But, no, I'm, like, having sex.
We're past that.
We're past that. So what I'm saying is, and I'm sure all women can kind of attest to this, but, like, there is, like, a little bit of, like, this guilt where you're like, shit, it's been, like, a few days, but, like, kids and life and busy and da, da, da. And you're like. And then you get to this place, you're like, should I ask? Should he initiate? Should, like, dah, dah, dah, dah, dah. We got to talk about the podcast that Jesse and Katie sent us to.
Well, before we talk about that podcast, she's two weeks postpartum is the name of this official state of being. And. And something in me snaps. I just, like. I snap. It's like my willpower. I'm like. I'm like a raging alcoholic who has not drank for, like, seven months, and I'm doing so good, but all of a sudden, all I can think about is a quadruple shot of Daniels with a basket of eggs for breakfast. Like, that's all I can think about. I'm obsessed with it. And I get to an angry place.
No, there was one night that I think you were a little tipsy, and you came up and you did something.
I did the weird thing.
You did the weird.
I did the weird thing. I just did the weird approach.
You made a comment that, like, makes a woman feel more guilty, and you're like. And I'd been two weeks out, and.
I should have just gone and jerked off. It was a bad move.
Then you walked out of the room, and this is when I knew you had been drinking. Because, like. Like, I was like. You said, babe, I'm just flirting with you. And I was like, oh, fuck. Like, that is not flirting, like. And that's why I was like, oh, shit.
I mean, it's like, I. Here's the deal. If I don't go surf for five months, when you get in the water, you feel awkward. Now, I've not experienced this because I surf almost every day, but I know that even, like, a couple days of no surfing, it starts at, like, your paddle. Paddle cardio goes down. You start to feel down. So, like, my sex game had gotten to basically zero.
No, but that's.
So, like, that was my first attempt coming in.
Normally have more of a filter, but that' specific night.
But. But I'm telling you, my endurance. My. My. So imagine a filters, like a brake pad.
It was like the.
Like, I had been pumping the brakes so many times.
Up with the baby and the red eyes.
Yeah, the baby and the vodka and the. The. The. The. The. The. The ass and the lack of. I don't know what it was. Ass.
I was like, so gross after two weeks.
Exactly. It was all ass. It was awesome.
A. Just roll.
But listen, the brake pad game is what I'm gonna call it. It's like the brake pads. When I was in high school, I learned about the brake pads because my brake pads on my core my parents had lent me were, like, burning out. My dad's like, can you go get these brake pads fixed? I was like, I don't want to pay for that. He's like, you need to get these brake pads fixed. So I don't get the brake pads fixed. And then the metal little caliper thing, or whatever the hell it's called, the signal that says you should get your brake pads. Every time I would hit the brakes, Well, I kept driving it for, like, four Weeks. So I dig these huge grooves and in the discs on the brakes, we have to sand them out. My dad's pissed. Everybody's pissed. I'm like, well. And they're like, how long did you know? I was like, yesterday. I mean, like three weeks. So listen, my willpower was like my brake pads in high school. And the caliper. It's not even called a caliper. The little fucking metal thing that's scraping against the rotor. I just had hit my point. Because that was. And if you remember, and I remember.
Thinking like, you've made it so far.
I know.
Why are you being a douchebag?
I fumbled on the two yard line.
No, we're on the home screen.
I fumbled on the fucking two yard line.
You know what? So then.
But I made it 98 yards, so that's good.
But you know what? Then I. Then I had a little postpartum meltdown explosion. And then I. And again, you were thrown in the towel. And then I was like, okay, like in the past when we would have gotten in an argument, I. And I'm sure this happens a lot with couples.
Oh, that was the next day. On the couch in front of all the kids.
Yeah.
So, yeah, that was a big fight.
I can tell that story.
But that was a war.
It was a war because for an hour. Because I was trying to plan an anniversary gift.
I fucked that one up.
You can spend $1,000. And I was like, fuck you, motherfucker. I work and I'll spend whatever the fuck I want. And I snapped.
Oh, she snapped.
And I snapped.
And then I snapped. And then we were sitting in chairs with one another. And the blue chairs in our living room, the famous blue chairs where I feed my daughter every morning. I'm holding Isla. Danielle's sitting there. We are yelling at each other, cussing at each other. The baby's asleep. My daughter is 12. Starts to deal with this like the way that an older child does. It's responsible. She's like, okay, this is a war zone. I'm getting out of here. She scoops her sister up. They go upstairs. Then about 15 minutes later, she comes back downstairs, a concerned face. To take Isla, which there's no way you're letting her carry the baby upstairs. So we both turn to Bailey and we're like, we've got this. Get out. Bailey's like, ah. So she leaves. We take one hour of, like, pure rage release at one another.
I don't think you understand. Like, when a girl is postpartum, I don't Understand? You don't. I don't. I know.
I know. It's not. Think I don't understand.
I'm explaining. Explaining to you, like, I'm a pretty even kill person. You put that with a mix of, like, a newborn emotions and everything that was going on. It was like my eyes and my forehead were weeping in ways I didn't even know were possible. Like, I think I had. Like, I just was like, I fucking surrender. Like, I don't know what you want from me. And I just bawled my eyes out for a solid hour.
And then with a lot of fuck yous in between.
Yeah. But Garrett doesn't back down easy either. So it was kind of a. Just. I mean, it was.
It was good.
It was a feisty conversation. So I got.
But you know what? It ended. It ended after an hour of war. I realized that all of the pressure had been released. And then the new brake pad showed up. I was a dick the next morning.
You were a dick the next morning.
Oh, shit. It continues. Continue with the story. Cause I don't remember the next morning. Dick.
Oh, my God. So you go, I stacked it. And stacking is a tool that Garrett has to.
And I sent it to you.
And at the end of the stack.
But I thought it was good.
No. At the end.
No. What did I do?
Well, let me tell you where I was triggering.
Oh. I said, we need to go to therapy.
At the end of the stack, you said, I know. I love you, but it looks like nothing's fixed and we need to go back to therapy. I was like, I'll punch you in the face. I will punch you in the goddamn face. If you're telling me what everything we've gone through in the last six years and you say nothing is fixed, I'm gonna kick you in the nuts right now. I'm just gonna. I want you to spread your legs.
It's gonna be like the monks. The monks on the YouTube channels who, like. Who smash each other's balls with the sticks. And I'm like, why the hell did they. And they're like, ha, ta, ta.
And I remember, I was like, oh, my God. And so I took a minute and I said, here's what I am seeing. I said, we have gotten off track. You know, we have let things distance us. We've had a baby, but let's offer ourselves a little bit of grace. Like this. Like, I'm sorry we had a meltdown. I don't believe we need to go back to therapy. What I do think we need to do is get back to doing the things that work within our relationship, which is even date nights, podcasts, having sex.
Having sex.
When you have a baby, you're not having sex. We're not doing podcasts. You're stressed because you're not sleeping as well. You're balancing a new human being in your life. All emotions are high. And so that's when I was like, that's the moment. If anything, you don't say, we need to go back to therapy. We need to give ourselves some grace. So I texted him.
That's what I meant to say.
No, you didn't. So I text him and I said, here's what we need to do. I love you.
But I was doing my best to get my feelings out and share them with you. So whatever. You threw your water. You don't get any more waters. You're banned.
But when I sent you, I said, here's what I'm seeing. We need to get back on track, you know? And then you kind of said. And I said, the end of it. I said, are you committed to getting back on track with me? And I just kind of asked that question. And you were like, yes. And I said, okay, perfect. Starting this week, we're gonna do things that help us get back on track. We went on our first date night that week.
That's right.
And we had my. I didn't have a nanny at the time because, again, I didn't have help, but my oldest daughter's old enough to watch my younger one. And I was like, we're gonna take the baby. We're gonna go get some sushi. I'm gonna have a cocktail. Like, you're going to get your wife back. Like, it's. I'm going to put some makeup on. I'm going to put a girdle on. And I don't know if they call them a girdle. And I throw my Spanx on.
I'm going to put on a modern girl. A girdle. Girdle. What's it called?
I just wanted to feel like a woman. Like, I just wanted to not feel like a Oompa Loompa.
So we did. We went down to sushi. And that was nice.
And I remember it was nice.
I was like, okay, my wife's back.
At the end of the date night, we were like, that was fun.
It was fun. I was like, oh, I forget. You're awesome.
Have sex.
But no, we didn't have sex. And that's all right because we did have sex. Listen. So here's the deal though, like the game. Okay, so the game was like, the game was a little rough. I, I, my brake pads were completely exhausted and I was tearing apart my rotors with no brake pads. And I didn't realize that I had run out of Runway. I literally did. It's like all my willpower and white knuckling, it was gone. There's like something shifted in my brain, which is like, the baby's out. The vagina is open for business. Why am I still being rejected? There should be a hall pass here. What the hell is going on? Like, there's this like little factory workers and all my boys went back to work and they all showed up in the testicles and the sperm started being remade. And I'm looking, factories are ready to ship product and it's like. And I'm literally, managers are yelling up at the upper management, sexy.
Is there another baby in there? What's going on?
And I gotta be honest, I was just like this fucking awesome. Let's go, let's do this. So listen, we got back on track sexually and then we had what I'm gonna call quantum. I'm not gonna go any details except for I will say we had the Quantum night. Quantum standing for four. Quantum and quattro stand in the same night. I'm gonna say is we're gonna call this infamously known as the Quatro Knight.
Are you gonna put it in like one of your favorite files and it's.
In my favorite files. It's impossible to pull it out. It's there. I can pull out imagery and live video footage. An hour of it. An hour.
You know what? That was our anniversary date night.
Was it our anniversary date night.
It was.
That was amazing.
That was so funny.
That was the best time.
It was funny because my mom was watching Isla and we drank a lot that night because I was like, freedom, I don't have a baby with me. And we got home and I like, my mom is hardcore religious and I looked at her and I was like.
You couldn't even talk. My sister in law looked at her and ushered her upstairs.
I just smiled and I looked at.
My wife and I was like, you should, you should definitely.
I'm not going to talk because I.
Should definitely leave the room.
It's going to be ugly.
But I was a good, it was. And listen, that was some, that was like, I'm going to put that up there. The next morning I woke up and I simply called you Tom Brady. I simply called you Tom Brady. And I sent you goat emojis. I felt like I was like, you are the goat. The greatest of all, I went into.
Retirement and then came back.
Yes, you did. You went to retirement. You, Peyton, You. You John Elwayed that shit. You came out of retirement. You Joe Montanaed it. You, Tom Brady it. You. You, whatever.
You know what? You got to be the bigger person, Ladies.
Well, it was. It was an amazing. It was amazing redemption. So now I feel like we're back on track. Yeah, we're back on track. But I've gotten in some patterns late the last week that are not maybe so bueno.
You?
Yeah, because I've started falling asleep with our children, putting them to bed, and then I wake up at 11:15, and you're already asleep. And then I'm like, oh, we didn't have sex.
The wife's sex guilt is like. I'm like, now it's been like four or five days. And so then you fall asleep, and I remember I'd like, going. I'm like, babe, babe. And you're like, oh, yeah, I'll come. I'm gonna. I'll come in a minute. I'm like, no, babe. Like, now's your window, babe. Now's your window.
But I'm like, you know what's hard, though, is, like, it's weird because I feel like here. So here's where catch 22 is. I'm like, I'm gonna go cover the kids. I get home, I feel like I've been very present with the kids. When I get home, I'm having a good time, watching perform, talking about the school. I'm doing the debrief. I get them to bed. I usher him up. You know, you're holding on. Excuse me, Holding Isla. And then by. You put Isla down. And then I got Ruby, who wants tons of attention as our 8 year old. So I'm talking to him. We're doing book projects, et cetera. And then I'm laying there, and I'm like, every time she turns on the calm app and we turn on the meditation, I'm like, okay, I'm gonna go lay here for five minutes. And I'm like, I'm gonna lay here five minutes. I'm gonna go seduce my wife. Next thing I know, it's 11:45 at night. It's 11:45, and I've been asleep for an hour.
And 45 and Ruby are a lot alike that way. Like, you guys pass out so fast. And me and Bailey, like, we got to, like, calm our brains down. And, like, then we can fall asleep. And so it's so funny because when I put Ruby to sleep, like, the minute I turn on that calm app, by the way, if you have children, the calm app, like, it works so good. They have this meditation app that's 15 minutes or this meditation thing, and I put it on, it shuts off, and it puts my kids to sleep every time.
It's 75. When. Or 79. So when you go there, don't be shocked. You'll be like, oh, my God, it's 79 people about. I'm like, dude, it's 78. It's worth. It's worth it. It's like babysitting.
Yeah, I. I really like it now. My kids, like, they're like, mom, we're turn on. My daughter, like, turns on herself. But anyways, you. You fall asleep quickly, and I don't. So when I put her to bed, I usually put time limits on things where I'm like, ruby, I'm going to lay here for two minutes. Because I know in two minutes she'll be, like, on the verge of sleeping, but I will still be awake. And then that's what you need to do. You need to go in and be like, I'm gonna lay her for five minutes.
I know, but the problem is we and her will both. So I put my hand over and I hold her head, and then we hold hands, and we're right by her little pan of squishy. And then we're laying there, and I'm like, I love you. She's like, I love you, dad. And then I kiss her hand. And then I lay there, and I'm like, I'm only gonna lay here five minutes. I go, bailey, did you hear me? She's like, dad, I came in and checked on you and Ruby last night. You guys had only been in there for 10 minutes, and you both were snoring on each other's. I was like, really? She's like, yeah. I was like, oh, man. Forget about it. I fall asleep real fast. All right, so anyways, I've been screwing up the sex scheme, the married sex game, in the last week because I'm falling asleep until 11:45.
Here's the thing.
Like, can you ask me a question?
Can I ask you. Can I ask you a question?
No.
Do men like it? If you, like, do you want to initiate or do you want me to initiate? Or are you waiting for me to give you the green light? How does that work?
Sometimes it's hard to know if there's a green Light.
Okay, so let me just tell you this.
So I don't even know what a green light looks like, particularly if you're buried under two comforters and five pillows.
Can I tell you what a green.
Light looks like buried under two comforters and five pillows?
Yeah.
Yeah. Okay, tell me. Tell me what it looks like there.
I think it was last week.
You're lying down on top of the covers with just a thong on, and you're asking out.
I was not. I had.
No, I'm saying that would be a.
Green light for you. I'm getting a green light.
That for sure is a clear green light. You are throttling.
No, let me tell you what a green light is.
Give it to me.
Like, it's funny, because we had just listened to the podcast, and I think you did better because I had fallen asleep. As our usual routine. Garrett fell asleep. And I was like, well, oh, well, I can't stay awake any longer. And then.
But the part you didn't say was you were wearing lingerie that you had baited me with earlier.
I was like, listen, you came in.
And you did a flash, and I was like, oh, you know, that's what I want.
That's why I was like, don't fall. That was my. Like, don't fall asleep.
I know game day. I know it was game day. I fucking slept through the first quarter.
So then I was like, man, I can't stay awake anymore. So I fell asleep. But I did.
Were you really asleep? Asleep? Because I don't feel like I woke you up. Up.
No, I was pretty asleep.
I remember, like, 80% asleep.
So you came in.
Okay.
And immediately, like, you started rubbing my butt. And then you're like.
And I was like, oh, shit. And then you're like. I said, don't do that.
Yeah, because for women, if you go to her and you slap her in the ass and you're like, babe, should we have sex? If you go for the boobs and you're like, hey, these are nice. We don't want that. If you come up here, what if.
You do it at the same time? One breast, one ass cheek.
What? No. So if you're trying to get your wife, like, in the mood, even if she's tired, if you go up to her and you're just like, hey, babe, let me rub your shoulders, I'm not gonna turn down a back rub. I mean, like, I. Yeah, but if you come in and you're like, hey, babe, let me give you a cheek rub, I'm immediately, like, turned Off. And I'm like, excuse me, let me.
Squeeze, let me massage.
Your factory is closed. So. But if you come in and you're just like, hey. Or you know, like there's.
So it's pretty much a green light. Anytime I want to start massaging your back is go.
If you're awake.
Yes.
And you start rubbing my back.
Recorded.
I will not turn you down unless you rub my back every night. I might be too tired.
Sometimes you just put a caveat on the condition of what you just said. I will never. You said, I will never. And then you just said, well, except.
When you wouldn't do it every night.
That's because I fall asleep with Ruby five nights in a row.
Nothing to worry about. I can stand strong behind my statement. Yes.
All right. So any night I come in with the back rub, it is on.
Well, yeah, like, I mean, you just gotta be like, less like, give it to me now and more just like, hey.
I did have a bit of a paranoia pocket because I. Because I've not been snipped, but I don't. And you don't want to get pregnant again.
I know. It's fine.
And I've still got powerful weapons of baby making creation. And we didn't have condoms. You're not on birth control pills. And our sex toy battery was dead. I mean, I was. I was coming into the desert with just freestyling. I was like, all right, I'm gonna freestyle this. I'm gonna have to freestyle this game. I gotta be careful of the. I gotta be careful of the lethal weapons. I got no protection.
I have an app, babe, that your.
Doctor laughed at you about the app. Women just. They might as well call that the how to get pregnant app.
I. I'm like very. I am very regular. And I have this app that tells me when I'm ovulating. And it never fails me. And I'm like, hey, in this window, you have to wear a condom. But other, other. Every other time, we're good. It's never failed me.
You know, there's a lot of people think the idea that we would use a condom in marriage is weird.
You know what, though? I look at it like this. You only have a five day window, usually where you're ovulate. Ovulating. If that, like, yeah, like, if that.
That's condom time.
No. And I'm like, the chances of us. Of us having sex more than twice in that window, like, so what, you have to wear a condom twice a month? I don't feel bad. Like, that did you know that?
I. I mean, the thing. I was like, we. We went to condoms out of birth control because of the way the birth control made you crazy.
I know. I don't like it.
All right, so then I have been.
On birth control one time. I didn't like it.
Yeah. I was like, not so good for you.
But I've heard an IUD is not too bad. And my sister, who's not even trying to have kids and her husband is snipped, has an iud. And I was like, why do you have an iud? And she's like, you know, periods. It's amazing.
Oh, well, I don't know.
So I made.
But anyways, so we had talked about me being snipped.
I know.
I. I told you, I'm down to get the snip if I need to get the snippet.
He said, I don't like to commit. I don't like to commit, so I.
Just need to go down and get snipped.
I don't like to commit.
I know, but I keep telling you. Do you want me to go get snipped? I know. She's beautiful.
She's so cute.
I would be lying if I said I was like, had not thoughts about another, but, like, it's weird because, like, having thoughts. Having thoughts about another, you know, brings up all kinds of other emotions, too. So here's the deal. Like, my wife's now hit into worried mode. She's texting the nanny to find out the baby's okay.
I'm with a new nanny that I've left. When we left her before, it was with my mom.
All right, how are you feeling?
I get. I'm like, good. And then I'm like, oh, shit.
Are you okay?
Yeah, I'm okay.
You call her right now? No, I just put on speaker and give verification.
No, I just like, I'm going to be that.
Call your daughter.
I'm going to. I did text my daughter.
I told Bailey.
I already told Bailey. I was like, she's new. Just text her with her and Isla. I already did.
All right, we're good.
So let's wrap this podcast up.
