I'm like, oh, you realize you have to, like, take care of yourself. It's like, you got to do the Botox and you got to do the face creams, and you got to get your. Keep your hair trimmed and your beard trimmed and your butt trimmed and all the things.
All right, listen. Welcome to this week's podcast here at Date your wife in order to get us kicked off. Nope, I'm not.
There was a clip.
He's on his phone. He's always on his phone. Now I'm about to play a clip to get us started off right about today's topic and today's show. Okay, so hold on just a second. Here we go. Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. This is the greatest ever.
So much build up.
This is the greatest ever. Here we go. Hold on, hold on, hold on. Here it comes. Get ready. About to start this off. Here it comes. First clip of the. Oh, I sent it to you in dm. All right, Damn it. All right, here it is. Get ready. Here, go. I love everything about being fucking married, but I'll tell you this right now. We do fight a lot. We do argue all the time. If I've learned anything in five years of being married is we're always working on me. Well, there you go. That's. That was our kickoff by Bill Burr. After five years of being married and learned one thing. We're always working on me. It's so funny, he continues in that clip, and he's like, yeah, my life is like those buildings in New York City with the scaffolding all around them. You're like, what the fuck's wrong with this building? Stop working on it. Just break. Burn it to the ground and let's start over already. So here we are. We just got back from Paris.
We sure did, sir.
And you're better.
Merci. Boucret.
Mercy. Boucle.
You know what it says?
No, what does that mean?
Really? You don't remember this?
Do you know what it says?
It says, your mom's amazing.
You don't even know what it means.
Mercy means thank you, Messi. Merci.
I don't know. I love. I love that you tried to make it like I didn't know what I was saying by you saying it and then acting like I didn't know what I was saying. What Exactly. You just did it again.
I. I have selective hearing today, specifically, but.
Why do you have selective hearing today?
I'm just kidding. No, Paris was fun. I proposed to Garrett. I said, will you marry me for at least another six months.
Can you get a close up on the shrink?
I don't know if you can.
You got a pov. Come on out about her on this.
Get a POV on this.
So can you get that or you needed.
Garrett and I met. We were. When I was 18. He's 18 years older than me. Sorry.
Wow. I'm 18 years older, Neil. Okay. Sometimes I think you, you. For as much as you harass me about being old, you. I think at some level you wish you were a sugar baby because of how much you talk about how old you think I am. You wish that I was 18 years older than you.
Yeah. Because I imagine you in 18 years. Man, if you're doing this great now, just really gonna.
So you want. Well, don't worry. Like, I guess the Cialis will just keep it rolling, huh?
That sounds so old. When I say Cialis, I got Martialis.
Well, I started taking Cialis. Not. The clip our teams put up was ridiculous. I was like laughing. I was like, why do we even put that clip up there? Why are you taking Cialis? Well, number one, it increases hard ons. That's the first part. The second piece that happens is the fact that it helps you with bodybuilding. My. Actually, I've never taken it before until I started looking.
You know what I will say, like, you have always been very easy to arouse. And you were. I. I was getting worried. There was the last year or two I was like, he lost. I. I felt I lost my magical powers. But it turned out it just changes her guys.
So. Well. Yeah. We got to some places where it was like. I would say there were some moments that took work to get a hard on.
I know. Welcome to being a girl.
Yeah, welcome to being a girl. Girls and get hard on. What are you talking about? Meaning like getting aroused.
Yeah. Takes a minute.
Yeah. It was ridiculous. So between my eyes going, which I was told I have astigmatism and then had to get glasses. Between that happening bullshit and then not being able to read shit on me, I'm sitting there getting sushi. You know. You know. You weren't gonna let me finish this.
Yeah, I want to finish the story.
Do you remember when I first found out I needed glasses?
When you couldn't read the menu?
When?
I don't remember.
You don't remember when? No. You don't remember this story?
Why don't you wear your glasses?
I don't know where they are. I've lost them all. I don't know where they went.
So you Just can't see.
Yeah, pretty much. I was sitting at sushi with your parents in Mexico, and I was trying to look at the menu at the sushi bar at night, and I'm pulling the Manny back and forth, and I can't see shit. And your dad pulls his reading glasses off his head, hands them to me to put on to read. And he said, just accept it. And I put them on. I was like, oh, man, I can see. He's like, welcome to the club.
My eyes are getting a little foggy, but not bad. Not bad.
Oh, you're 40. That's when it starts.
It's not from, like, far away, actually, really good distance from far away. It's like, close up.
I'm like, that's what happens to old people. Welcome to old person Life. Yeah, you're 40. That's when it starts happening. Well, I start going.
I feel like I've taken really good care of myself. Like, I feel like. I feel like I've always, like, eaten healthy and worked out in, like, what, forever?
21.
Yeah. And I do all the skin stuff. I do the sunscreen and the Botoxes, and I feel like I've. I look good because of, yes, genetics, but also, like, I always joke around. I'm like, if you took out my hair extensions, took off my veneers, put an extra £50 on me, I would. Took off my spray tan, took off my eyelashes. Like, I would. I wouldn't look great. Took. Took away my Botox, I'd still have sex with you. Okay. I'm just saying, like, I, I. It's a lot of work to be a girl, but it's, like, a lot of work where you don't want to look overdone.
Yeah.
Like, all guys want to feel like their wife's, like, somewhat has, like, a. She's just a natural beauty. I'm like, I'm a natural beauty. That puts a lot of work into it.
Yeah. I don't. I mean, there's natural beauty.
So I think there was this. What my point in saying the statement is like, finally, I'm like, oh, you realize you have to, like, take care of yourself. It's like, you got to do the Botox and you got to do the face creams, and you got to keep your hair trimmed and your beard trimmed and your butt trimmed and all the things.
When my butt's not trimmed. What do you think about this?
I want to braid it.
Have you ever just wanted to grab the hair on my ass and just, like, yank on it?
No.
No, neither have I. But I have shaved it off a few times.
That's good.
I just have. I just have Viking hairy body, though. It's like I'm just going to be hairy everywhere until I trim it down.
You can grow a beard in a week. It's ridiculous. Like, you.
I shaved this a week ago.
I know.
Damn near to zero.
Clean up the neck. Like, this is. You need to clean up the whole thing.
Well, I. This is what human growth hormone does to you. Makes everything grow faster. Seriously, I'm not joking you.
I believe it.
So, yeah. So, like, the fitness game is happening. We were in Paris. The fitness thing was completely off in Paris.
Oh, man.
We had amazing trip as our 20th anniversary in Paris.
Champagne than water.
I'm sure I drank more champagne than water. That was like. That was like being in Mexico and having, like, Mexican water, which is Corona Light, literally, or Corona. Like. I was like. I had never drank more champagne in my entire life than I drank in Paris.
You know what I liked is you, like, kind of like, let go. I was like, oh, thank God. Like, we'd. We'd sleep in. I was surprised. A lot of the mornings I would wake up, it's 10am and you're still in bed, and I'd, like, poke you.
What the.
And I was like, why are you so in bed? We got to go shopping. Then I realized you were sleeping in on purpose because you told me it would save you money so you don't have to go shopping as long.
I know. Happening. I was like, if I can keep her in bed every hour that I keep her in bed, I save 10 grand. You add that up four hours, 40 grand, five hours, 50 grand.
Ice. There's a pair of boots that we didn't go back for at Chanel that I'm. I might have to get here. I'm sorry.
Well, I always felt like I put.
Them on hold, and that was like, the one thing when we got home, I was like, no, not the Chanel boots.
How could you say that? You got so many boxes.
I get obsessive.
We had to get an entire.
I get obsessive in things, and I'm like, I, I. It's.
What is it about the clothes? What is it about the clothing and the shoes and the handbags? That's so exciting.
It's. It's something I enjoy putting things together. Like, I like. I don't actually enjoy. I do enjoy shopping, but did you notice I don't enjoy browsing like you.
Browse on your phone.
Yeah.
So you Enjoy browsing. You just want to do it on your phone?
Yeah, I want to do it in the. I don't. I want to, like. Like to, like, kind of research and see what's cute and what's popular and then have, like, an idea, and then I put it together in my head, and then I execute, which is, like.
Browsing on your phone, and then you go in and execute to purchase.
Yeah.
Okay. Got it. So you're kind of like a very expensive Lego builder. You like to build things with Legos, only the things you build are Chanel shoes and Hermes bags.
Yeah. It could have been like if you. If I was, like, a buyer for a store, man, they would do well.
So the clothing is a high, but it never seems to end this high of getting.
No, it does, actually. The beginning of this year, when we were kind of going over our finances, I was like, ooh, it might be a problem. Because, like, for me, it's, like, fun, but when it's something, it's fun, that kind of turns into an addiction. You're like, well, I should reel this in a little bit with anything, right? It could be with. Even with something healthy as, like, working out or eating or drinking or whatever it is, it starts out fun when you're like, this might be a problem. So. So at the beginning of the year, when I was realizing how much I was spending on, like, just clothes and shit, it wasn't even that I couldn't spend it. It was just, like, I didn't realize I was spending that much. So I put a goal for myself. For the next four months, I can only shop at Zara. And I did. I was like, I cannot buy anything designer. That's a lie. I still shopped at, like, Revolve and other things. But my goal for myself was like, okay, you. You can still shop and have fun. Cause it's kind of a creative outlet for me. So I was like. My goal was like, I didn't even put a budget on myself. I literally just was like, don't shop, designer. And that's pretty much it. And it was funny because I bought a shit ton of stuff at Zara. And then I just stopped caring. I was like, I don't care anymore. And actually, I haven't. I've actually been. I haven't cared that much this whole year, to be honest with you, until we went to Paris. And then I was like, yes. Then it was like, I was, like, excited again, because, like, how often do you go to Paris? And Paris is, like, known for shopping, so I felt like it's a high, but I feel like I. I actually kind of like it. Like I said, the beginning of this year, I was kind of like, I'm kind of over it, so.
Do you realize that your favorite filter on Instagram is Paris?
Yeah, it's perfect. Every girl will tell you it just screams you out with. Not without making you look like you got, like, a nose job.
Do you have to. Did we have to stop using the Paris filter while in Paris? Because we were in Paris.
Yeah. We just look so creamy. No need.
So I thought so we went to a topless show that was fun. Moulin Rouge. Not like the New York version.
No.
There's titties everywhere.
Yep.
What's that? Like, as a girl watching all these.
Titties on stage, I find myself analyzing them.
Analyzing titties.
Just being like, are those real? I wonder what cups.
They're all real. I guarantee those are all real tits.
I wonder how tall she is.
There's no way those boob job girls.
No, they all looked. They all very natural. It would be weird if they had, like, fake boobs.
Well, you have, like, the surgery scars with topless.
I have to be honest. Like, even though I'm a girl and I have a pair, you're still, like, you can't look at their faces. You're like, huh.
I think that's the point of it, is to not look at their faces.
Yeah.
They all wear the same wigs.
And I thought it was good, though. There was a lot of Circus Soleil. I thought it was, like, a very fun show.
It was. It was. It was interesting, though, to be there. Like, I'm sitting there with these women dancing topless, and I'm thinking to myself, looking around the room at all of the people, and I'm looking around at all of the guys, and I'm thinking to myself, how many sexually frustrated guys are here? And the funniest part was there was two sets of guys beside each other.
In front of us, and they were older.
No, no, no, no. I'm talking right down in front of us. So there's two dudes that were there. Obviously not together. Definitely not gay, older dudes, both overweight. They're at the Moulin Rouge, excited to see. They're excited to see tits. Then you know how they come in, they have the dinner show, and then they brought in all the rest of people to watch the rest of the show. So it was like 3/4 full and then. Or like, half full for dinner and. And there was, like, music, singing and then the show started and then the whole theater was packed in Paris. And then they bring in other people and pet them at the table. That's where the Irish couples showed up for us that had won it from the game show. But there was another group of younger guys probably in their 30s. The other guys were probably in their 50s. They bring the two dudes that are from the 30s. Again, not gay dudes. You can tell gay guys, you can tell they're going to be affectionate. I was because I was watching the funniest dynamic of my life show up. Because I'm thinking to myself, I'm this guy's. I'm not fucking happy right now.
Are they with women?
No. So these two dudes are by themselves, the dudes in their 50s. And then you got the two dudes in their 30s that are brought in for the show. And the two guys come in and they set them at the table with the two 50 year old dudes. So you got four dudes all sitting at each other looking awkwardly at one another. No girls about to watch the titty show. And I'm sitting there looking at these guys and I'm watching the dynamic of how uncomfortable all four of them are. They don't know what to do. Should we talk to these guys? Should we be friends with these guys? Like I can't believe we're sitting by the two big fat 50 year old dudes like and we're over here like trying to come see some titties. And we're here, I'm watching. And then finally they start uncomfortably start talking to each other, trying to be friends before the show started. And I thought, man, that's not what they were expecting tonight. They're thinking in their mind, we're going to be front row. We're going to be right up on the tip. It's going to be great. And here we are sitting with Bob the Builder and his best friend Bobby and not what we were expecting.
I didn't, I didn't feel uncomfortable.
I didn't feel uncomfortable either. But what I was saying is that looking at a room like this, everybody's having different feelings. Some people are like, oh, it's a great show. I love the music. These girls are amazing. Some guys are like, oh man, I want to. Some women are probably like on a fuck. And there's a whole bunch of people going, this is totally different than anything I've been to. But Moulin Rouge is really not that risque.
It's just a bunch of boobs. But the show Itself was really good.
There was some great performance in there. The thing I was most impressed about two dudes was two dudes. These two guys did the most insane.
They're just the strength.
I couldn't believe the shit they were doing. Like, it was absolutely ridiculous. The physicality and strength of this.
I think you've had more appreciation because you started lifting.
Oh, man, I had a huge appreciation. I couldn't believe I gave standing ovation. I was clapping.
Yeah, you were pumped.
One or two people out of 500 stood up.
So what do we got in this box here?
Oh, you finally want it?
Well, you.
This was a box I had created for you for our anniversary, but you didn't have time to open it before we went.
Well, you were. I'm like, is it sentimental? And you're like, yeah. And we were like running late for our flight. And I was like, can we wait till we get back? Because I don't want to seem like an ass.
You ready to get POV on this? You're going to have to come up close. So you're going to have to come over here and get this. Get up on her while we. While she opens this up so that we got it. You're going to probably have to come over here and get in it. Come on. Just come around behind her. You be in the shot. It's fine. Come on and be in the shot.
Want to like, be right here?
Sure. Like.
Okay.
Come over top of her like that.
Cuz we want to see the box.
Open cuz there's audio to it. So you're going to have to put the mic by it. Okay, hold on. Here it comes. Now put the microphone back.
Nothing happened.
Is it playing?
Y. Please use.
Hello, Danielle, Brad here. And my heart is full of joy to be able to present this gift, this mug, on behalf of a man who loves you so deeply that it goes beyond words. He celebrates you, your beauty, the way that you show up in the world with such a light, with such wisdom and compassion and care and such vitality. And the way you move and come through on behalf of others. And what you're creating with your life is so powerful and beautiful. And Garrett wanted to honor that. And so he reached out and poured out his heart. And I just gave us some insights. I put those into this mug. And his hope is that when you hold this mug, may it allow you to feel the wonder of who you are. So here it is. And I'm gonna go over very briefly, scene by scene, what we did. So first scene. Gosh, Just celebrates the beauty of your character, that inner vibrancy that you carry. And I just allow the radiance of who you are to shine. No holding back. You're pure, wise, visionary, patient, powerful and loyal. Next scene is about your heart for your family, your kids, your children, the ones you are raising to thrive, the ones that run into your arms. And just your goodness is evident. And up here, a little detail in your story. Garrett shared that if you wouldn't have fought for each other, that two souls would not be part of your family. And that is truly remarkable that you came back together for each other. And the beauty of that just manifested. Next scene. You are all about empowering women and men and just the. In the hair industry. And what you do is you help people rise, truly. And you do that by understanding the value of community. You don't let people stay stuck in their small stories. You believe in people and you stand fearless in your own beauty. And final two scenes here, just about your love. Your love. You're celebrating 20 years of marriage. So I took this picture I found, did a little silhouette to capture the essence. And here is a reference to the picture on your wall. And Garrett just shared that.
It just.
It just means everything, these images. And I put these phrases here that you can read and just be reminded of your love and your story and how far y' all have come together. And final thing, since you are his queen, all these images make up the word queen to celebrate you. And just the way you bless your family and Garrett, hope you love this.
Bye. Bye.
Thanks, babe. It's cute.
Okay, open it up. Take the. Take the mug out here. Put the mic on you so you can keep talking.
Cute.
Hello, Danielle.
Brad.
I love it. I. At first when you were like, I got you a mug. I was like, I got you a diamond ring, but cute.
Well, look at that mug. It's like custom for you. And it has all of the custom pieces that he went through on it. And you. I mean, you use mugs for your pre workout. You don't drink coffee a lot anymore.
I literally put.
And that's your special tequila mug. That's your. That's your special tequila agave mug.
Funny. But I drink my pre workout in a mug.
Yeah.
And then I. If I have a cocktail, I drink it in a mug.
And that's why we're saying, like, you have. And now everyone will know I'm either drinking pre workout or I'm drinking post workout.
Cute.
I love it.
It's cute.
Brad's going to like the the team is up to put that together. Like he, he does every one of these, like custom. This was actually part of. John Rulin, who wrote the book Giftology, has been part of kind of our team here at Giving Gifts. And he reached out to me about, about creating a special gift for you for our anniversary. And I thought, yeah, that'd be awesome. Let's try the mug. And so he was kind of the front runner in setting it up. And then Brad, the artist who created it. So if you want to learn more about that, you can check it out. Giftology or John Rulin. Amazing. I haven't got to see it up close.
Is Giftology. Do they just do mugs?
No, they do everything. So Giftology was written by a book by John Rulin, which is the power of gifting and giving gifts that matter. Right. So like you could just buy somebody a mug or you could invest, you know, a couple thousand dollars to create something that's like a piece of art. And so the whole game is not about giving gifts. Like it's about giving memories that matter.
Story.
Yeah, like the what? Like the I choose you pictures that we did a piece of art. Like, same thing with John and his teams.
Oh, okay. That's where I knew John.
I was like, that's where John from. So you can check him out. Giftology, the book. Also John ruling group that works with our company and a bunch of our companies and almost dropped the like, Jesus, come on, White, get your shit together. So yeah, I was trying to give that to you as we were heading out the door to Paris.
I know, but I literally were running late. I'm like, I don't want to ruin this moment, so can we do this later? But yeah. And then like, it's so funny, since we've been back, you've been like, can you open the thing? I'm like, I just woke up. Can you like wait for the moment?
Like, I know. I was like, open it tonight. No, open tomorrow morning. No. And then I was like, oh, it'll be perfect. On podcast. We record it and we got content. Cuz they wanted to see you too.
Okay.
And there was even a part that made you a little emotional.
Yeah. I was like, oh, cute. It's fun to see like the, like the journey. I think we're so busy in day to day life that it sometimes when you don't take that moment to go back and reflect, you forget how far you've come. And so for me, like, it's important to have those moments to even push you forward. To the next chapter.
Well, our anniversary was, like. It was the funnest. It was probably the funnest vacation I've ever been on with you. It was also the most.
I just liked how you were so, like, a light and, like, goofy because you're always, like, so intense, but you have this really funny side that we both do. We both. We actually are, like, both, like, serious and intense, but we both are, like, just really goofy. So it's, like, fun when we can, like, be very playful together. And I feel like we've actually. I think that's why you and I have started liking couples vacations, because we've both. In the past, like, our vacations weren't great together because we were very, like, frustrated at one another. But now I feel like we're in a place where it's kind of fun because even on date nights at here, we can take a moment or a dinner, but it's not the same as, like, when you go on vacation and you're like, it's 10:00am you want champagne? Yes, I do. Thank you very much. Like, you just kind of, like, let go. And for me, like, that's. Those are moments of recharging with you and I. That's why, like, I always encourage all couples. I'm like, hey, I don't care if you're driving four hours and going somewhere. Like, you need time away from the kids, physically away from your town or city, and just allow each other to kind of, like, unplug together.
Well, I. I loved it. It was amazing. With great sex. We had great conversation, we had great dinners, we had great activities. Went to champagne, which was, like, learned all. That's why we started drinking so much champagne, because we learned all about champagne, which is, like, perfect timing. We went out there. Our car ride there was, like, two hours. It was raining the whole time.
Oh, my God. Literally, like, I was like, oh, no. I. I didn't realize we were going to, like, a cellar. So I thought we were going to this, like, giant vineyard. And I imagined us, like, literally, like, stomping on grapes. I don't know what I imagine. But then I. We get there, and, yeah, it was, like, in a cellar. And I love that we were with, like, these, like, two, like, probably 60 year old, maybe 70.
Yeah.
And I, like, we're sitting at the tasting table, and they bring us all out three glasses of wine to taste different ones.
Champagne.
Me and Garrett are just, like, sitting there sipping, and then they're like, okay, should we move on to. Me and Garrett are barely Sipping. I look over at like, Gladys and I was like, gladys, like, shotgun those.
Everybody shotgun.
I was like, what the hell? We're with 70 year olds and we are behind. So Garrett and I don't drink champagne at all.
We.
We shoot the champagne and literally both of us, like, get in the car. We could not stop giggling. And then we get to the vineyard and they're like, do you want more champagne? And they hand Garrett a knife. And I was like, this seems like a bad idea. But the knife was to pop the bottle. If you go to our social media, you'll see like the cool clips.
But they said that they listen. I did that. And then even coming back, I have said that that's not. It's like, it's not normal to be able to do that your first time.
Good job.
I don't. I'm being impressed with myself, even though I didn't know I should be. Like, people are literally like, you realize that's impressive, dude. Like, a lot of people cannot do that.
Shadow, because you were drunk on champagne. There was. You're like, it.
Well. And he was very good with his instructions. Like, you're just gonna go here. And then I was like, I just go here and then push it off. He's like, yeah, you just go here. And then right down the line. I was like, all right. And I went, perfect.
Yeah, it was fun. But then we drank an entire bottle of champagne that night. Then we went to another.
A whole bottle of champagne at that vineyard. So we drank a bottle at the champagne place and we drank a bottle at the vineyard. Then we went to dinner at some five star resort and drink another bottle of champagne. And then at that point was when we were sitting having a conversation about how we had to have a two hour ride back to our hotel back in Paris from the restaurant. And we offended the entire restaurant because it was like a 75 course meal and it was taking 432 hours to eat. And we were both like. It was one of those restaurants where you're like, I have definitely paid a lot for this food because I still want to go to In N Out Burger after we're done. And so Danielle and I ended up making it back to like late, late, late that night. And it was great.
Did we drink more when we got home or did we just pass out?
You drank more every night, so I'm sure you didn't. I think I smoked a cigar. I don't know.
No, I don't think I drank more. We were so done that night. We got home like 12:30, and I was like, oh.
Which is wild with. The times don't change. But the vacation was great. I think what was fun too, is like, there was just a. There was a fun. There was a lightness to it and a funness to the trip that was just. It was kind of there. We had one battle and I was on the flight home, and that was for about 15 minutes. And we just dealt with that in therapy.
I think it was nice too, because we hired a guy named Jop, and I was like, if you're gonna do something, you hire a guy who knows details. Because, like, I can be good at details. But I really. That stressed me out too. So it's just nice to like, especially when you're flying somewhere. Let's all the way, you know, to Paris. I'm like, I don't want to. I don't want to think. So we literally, we get off the plane, there's a guy with a sign.
With our name right after you get.
After you get off the plane. And it's a big ass airport. And he like, just what we're like, just walking. He picks up our bags, escorts us to car. Like, we literally didn't have to think the entire trip.
We show up underground tunnels at the airport, get outside.
It was like five star experience to the nines. Like every. I think that's what made the trip so enjoyable too. Like, in the past, we would. We didn't. We didn't have the five star experience. And since we've had it, we're like, it's worth paying for it. Like, everything you do, you literally can just shut your brain off. And people are like, here, do you want to go here? Do you want to go here? And everything's like vip. You have the best tables, you have the best, best hotels, you have the best rooms. Like, you have like, we had a Maybach driving us around, like, everywhere. Like it was. And then we had like a video group crew and a photographer there to capture stuff for the real White House. And it was. It was like, if you're gonna do Paris for your 20th, you do it right.
We had a blast. Like, it was. It was amazing. And it was amazing to think too, like, that we had on our anniversary, 20 years or our honeymoon 20 years before that, we'd gone to the US Virgin Islands to an all inclusive resort. And I think I spent like $4,000 for the whole thing. Experience. And it was shitty. It was not that bad. Great of experience. But you know what I think the thing was we didn't drink back then. So I'm wondering if we'd have drank on that honeymoon if we'd had a more fun. Because we were both a little too uptight.
We. Well, we were young. And also, it rained that whole trip.
It did.
And I remember getting sick on the.
Plane, and you didn't take your dram mean.
Yeah.
So, you know, that was when you told me the birth control didn't work for you.
It didn't. I don't like birth control. I've tried it a couple times, and that's why I've gotten pregnant six times.
One of my guys just got a vasectomy.
Good for him.
Yeah. He told me this morning. He's like, coach, good news. I said, what's that? He's like, I got snipped. They have six kids. I said, it's about time. And he's like, really? And I was, yeah. And their anniversary is next week, and their anniversary. They're going on their 20th anniversary. And, Mark, one of our guys just got back from last week from their 20th anniversary. And then another one of our guys just had their 16th anniversary. People, like, all around the same time. And another What? Fernando. His wife and his. Just had their 16th anniversary last week on the 20th.
Guess who else just had their 16th anniversary? Amanda.
Oh, Amanda Galley did?
Yeah.
Oh, wow. I didn't know that.
We're four years ahead of everybody, babe.
That's right. We're just showing them how it's done. We're helping them not fuck it up as bad as we did. So, like, the vasectomy piece. So I told him it was a big deal. Do you agree? It's been a big deal. Don't pause. You know?
I don't know. I think, you know. Yeah. It's nice not to, like, worry about it, because I've never really been on birth control since we have been together. And it was always. I'm a. I'm a tracker. So I, like, would track that time of the month, and I just knew my window, and so I was very careful, but. And then you would wear condoms, too.
I work on. The thing is crazy. I. We. I wore a condom for the first, like, 15 years. Fifteen years we were married maybe 12 years.
I can't remember. No, it was longer than that. But, like, I remember it was when I was trying to get pregnant with Isla, and I was like, I. This was six years ago. So we were married for 14 years. And I was like, hey, like, you don't need to. I mean, I have, like, don't we don't need to prevent anymore because I wanted to get pregnant.
And.
And I realized, like, you were like, we're having so much sex. How are you not pregnant? I'm like, it's a small window. Women actually have to ovulate. You're like, oh, really? I don't think you knew. And I was like, yeah. And you're thinking, like, why the hell am I wearing a condom this whole time? Because I was like, yeah, like, you're good. Unless I'm like, ovulating and then this window. But you told me in the beginning you were like, I wore a condom because I would last longer.
No, no, no. There's two things we need to talk about on this topic.
Okay?
One is, I remember the night in three oceanfront, which would have been probably like 2017, maybe early 18. Some other about five, six years ago where we're having sex, I have the condom on, and you, you ripped the condom off me. You're like, I don't want the condom on like you wanted. Like, it was like this moment of declaration of, all right, let's fucking go. I want you in me and I want to feel you. Which was weird because, like, we had gone through this time frame for so many years with such a fucked up relationship sexually trying to figure it out and condoms. I remember thinking like, Like, I thought it was weird that I was wearing condom. But at the same time. Yeah, but like, at the same time, like, I didn't want you to get pregnant. At the same time, I remember even thinking, oh, it's cleaner. And like this, all these justifications for condom. And then I think, now I look at our sex life, I'm like, what kind of pussy's wearing a fucking condom the whole time? Like, I look back at myself, I'm like, you fucking pussy. Like, what's wrong with you? Like, But I mean, I understand from the frame while I was doing it.
I. I wasn't making you do it. I just was like, I'm not taking birth control. So there you go. I was like, I. I feel like when I take it, I'm not taking it.
And it was either wear a condom or pulling or pull out.
Yeah. I was like, yeah, but it wasn't until I like you, I don't think you realize, like, because I do get pregnant easy like, you do. I.
You've been pregnant six times.
I. And literally, like, the longest I've had to try was like two months. Like, if I don't get pregnant the first month, I'm like, oh, And I.
Know I shoot potent loads, so, I mean, I got some Navy SEALs down there.
There you go. That's what I'm doing.
People like, did you serve? I said, no, but my sperm did. My sperm is go time. So, no. We're gonna finish a couple topics on this. So, like, this happens, and it changes our sex life. This about six years ago, and all of a sudden, we're. Which sounds super weird if somebody's listening to. You're like, what the fuck? I'm like, dude, don't worry. I'm sitting right there with you in the front row that stands with tickets going, what the fuck? Got to remember, I'm the same guy that was begging for hand jobs back here in 2009.
He didn't show up. Great. Wasn't.
So, like, we've not exactly had, like, the sparkling path here. We were raised sexual power.
But you know what, though? We were like every other Christian raised culture. Like, that's like, we're not alone in this. That's why I think it's empowering that we, like, talk about this stuff. And it's like, people are like, whoa. Because now I'm like. I feel like our sex life is, like, as good as any porn. Like, it's.
I would. I would put our sex.
I was like. I mean, in the married game, like, I was like, I. I feel like we're. I feel solid about my.
Had a lot of progress and a lot. In a lot of massive ways. But, like, the other piece was too. That was interesting. During that time, I remember, actually, as a guy, I wanted to last longer, so I. I remember putting on two condoms.
I remember that too.
I remember thinking that. I think back, and I was like, covering up my superpower the entire time. You know, I didn't find my superpower until after.
What's your superpower?
Double, twice, Two or three shots.
I just think it's because I'm good.
You are good. And I got superpower. So it's probably a combination. You activate the superpower, which means my whole marriage, I'm worried about losing my first load. So I'm like, I gotta really hold this in there. Stay focused. Think about, like, a giant elephant. Don't think about doing something like sand and floors or something. Like, think about really unattractive women. Like, think of a hairy dude named Bob. I'm just trying to not lose it, only to realize I got two shots in the chamber at any given time, and the first one is gonna go fairly quick. It's gonna be a minute or two or three. And then I got another one that we can go for 20 to 30. And then I got a third one in it when you get crazy and we're like two hours in, and I'm still just, like, ready to roll. And then there's when you get real aggressive, which happens occasionally when Halley's comet circles a planet and you say you're coming a fourth time.
Just kidding. We're done with this comment.
And this has only happened a couple times, and I. I'm pretty sure that, like, I had storage sperm stored in my right calf and, like, had to pull it all the way.
You know what you said to me in Paris? I lean over and you go, oh, babe, it's drained. I'm sorry. And I was like, well, fake it till you make it, buddy.
I said, don't worry, I can get hard. But there's nothing. But there's nothing in the warehouse. The warehouse has gone home for the night. They've run out of supply. There was a supply chain issue.
Okay. You're enhancing drugs Cialis. I don't know. Does it make you turned on easier? I think it does, right?
Listen, what I've noticed is it's like, so when you.
I like that, though, because you know what? I felt like you were so focused in business, I could be, like, walking around topless, and I was like, oh, he doesn't notice me. Me anymore. But I think it's because, like, your testosterone was testosterone. So now, like, I have my superpower back in the sense I can, like, walk into a kitchen and you're like, hello. And I don't have to be topless. I can just be me.
Yeah, I can hard on demand now.
That's great.
And some people are like, well, dude, what's the problem? You're gonna have to take C forever. I was like, if I want to get hard on demand the rest of my life, then yes.
Do you take. Do you cycle? I don't know how that works.
Cycle calis.
I don't know.
It's not a bike. Oh, you mean like gear? No, you can just take it whenever. So I started taking it for bodybuilding. But the side benefit is hard on. On demand. But which is really interesting when you're lifting, though, too, because, like, this morning we're doing arms and shoulders, and my arms get so pumped. Because the. The Cialis is not like penis medicine. It's actually for blood flow. It's, like, for heart. Heart medicine. And they just. Wherever the body's working, it'll pump a ton of Blood. So this morning I'm like, lifting my arm, my arm, biceps.
Actually helps you build muscle or just make you feel like you're building muscle.
I don't know. They're telling me that helps me build muscle. Could just be a big joke. So that I got arm hard ons in the morning.
That's. I saw your story this morning. I was like, oh, your arms look huge.
I was like, they're so full of blood. Like, my arms. The pump gets so big in your body when you work.
Do you like being bigger?
Yeah. Do you like me being bigger?
You know, I was thinking, I was like, I do like you being bigger, and I think you, like, fill out your clothes better. But there's something to be said. And I'm sure it's like the same way for me. Like, when you're like, shredded, you're like, well done. It's like, it's like you, like, look great now, but there's like, respect. When somebody has, like, just a freaking eight pack and obliques, you're like, well done. Because I think it's like the diet mixed with the workout that there's like, the respect. So, like last year when I was cutting, you decided to randomly cut. And that was like the leanest I had seen. You, like, your abs look great, and I was like, oh, that's hot. But now it's. Even when you're bigger, I'm like, oh, that's hot. So there's like, how you are with me. There's like, I. I kind of like both. I like how you look bigger in clothes. But then I wouldn't. Like last year, when you're really lean, I'd be like, well done.
I think I'd rather be bigger. You get way more bang for your buck with bigger than shredded abs.
Well, yeah, you look. You look fuller in clothes. Like, you shredded abs. No one knows that unless you, like, take off your shirt. You could have guys you assume are shredded and they take off their shirt and you're like, oh, they're super soft. Or vice versa. You'd be like, whatever. And they take off a shirt and they're like, wow, you shredded. I did not expect that, like, gains you. You have to acknowledge that. You're like, that's a big ass, dude. That works, works out. But like, abs, you don't know, you're.
Like, tell you what, I get a whole lot walking around with a six pack when I was lean, like 180 or 185, 188 pounds, which I was about 188 pounds last December.
Wow.
And right now I'm like, 210, like, at 188 pounds, I didn't get any compliments. Except when my shirt was off.
Yeah. And.
Or I was naked with you.
Yeah. Because you had no ass. You, like, you didn't even fill out your pants. I was like, oh, man.
Now all my pants, I fill out shirts. All my custom T shirts, I don't. And shirts. I don't even fit in the arms. I couldn't even slide my biceps through some of them anymore. That's a good problem to have.
It's funny because for a girl, it's like, I've been trying to put on muscle, and it's like my butt has gotten bigger, but my waist has stayed smaller. And so it's like, I'm like, my pants don't fit.
They fit perfect.
No, like, literally, my pants don't fit anymore. So we've been wearing lots of skirts and dresses, but. But at the same time, I like. I like how it looks like. I'm like, oh, I look good. I look filled out.
But you don't.
But I can't put my pants on.
You don't look good.
I don't look good.
You look insanely amazing.
Okay, so it's clear that you like the curves, but I just really like being them.
I love them.
I know I like being curvy, but I. I'm, like, one of the few women who has, like, great abs and has had four babies.
I'm like, listen, you are creamy, curvy, buttery.
Okay.
I mean, there were just some moments. The French flag is flying. The Alpha Eiffel Towers through the window. The drapes are open. We're staying in the room at the top of the hotel. You and me, two bodies, soft, showered up in the morning, before champagne, before shopping, and you slide into bed, and there we are, you and me, just connecting and having an amazing morning and all. I'm.
So you want me to stay curvy?
But I fucking love it.
There you go. I don't. I mean, it's fine. I'll see where it goes.
It's fine.
That's fine. I think I'm gonna do the competition with you, but I haven't quite committed.
I love that you can see. Keep saying think.
Well, I haven't actually signed up.
Why won't you commit?
I don't know. I feel like I want. I. I do this every time. Every time. I've done three shows, and every time, I'm like, I don't know if my body's gonna respond. And then I get freakishly disciplined, and I'm like, oh, it worked.
Are you in freakishly disciplined mode?
I am, I am. But I feel like I. I don't know. I get. I get in my head.
Well, I think if you just boldly committed, you would be committed.
You mean, like, sign up and declare it? Yeah, no, I'm good. It's fine.
You already bought your show shoes where that was justification to get new shoes.
Yeah, I'm not gonna wear those. Those are too clunky. But they're pretty.
They're not. They're not too clunky.
They are. You wear, like, a more petite heel for the show.
Why couldn't you wear those?
I don't know. I might be able to.
You could wear those.
It depends. You want to wear something that elongates your legs.
That elongates your legs.
I don't know if it does, but we'll see.
It does.
So do you want me to do the show with you? That's what I need to know. Cuz I feel like I want you.
To do what makes you happy.
No, that was the wrong answer, Garrett.
Because if right now, if you're asking.
Absolutely, I would love my wife to have this experience with me.
I would absolutely love you to get shredded and be on stage with me.
Okay, thank you. That's what I.
Then go back to creamy.
Oh, I also. I like being lean. I'm a little.
I like you being lean and shredded. And I also think that you are a happier human at creamy.
Really?
Yeah. You're less stressed out about.
Well, that's just, like. Because they eat more. Every girl's happier if she eats.
Yeah, but I'm just saying, I think that you genuinely can experience life happier from that place.
No, that's not true. I.
Constant calorie deficit.
No, no, no, no, that's not true. In fact, when I allow myself to have too much leniency with my diet and then I'm drinking too much and eating too much, it's actually. I get depressed. I actually feel. I mean, I like to have fun.
Say, go Paris every week.
No, no, no. I know. I like to have fun, but honestly, this. This summer, I had a lot of fun. Like, I definitely ate and drank a lot this summer. So for me, that's part of the reason why I wanted to do. To do this competition is I was like, okay, the fun has now turned into me feeling, like, kind of guilty, like, and, like, feeling, like, sluggish and not feeling Like, I can perform both mentally and physically. So although I don't, it's not necessarily just about how I look. It's about how I perform as a mom, as a business owner, my mental clarity and food, because I. I am very in tuned with my body. Like, if I eat a ton of, like, crappy food, like, I almost. I joke around all the time with my trainer. Like, if I have like a bunch of treats or junk, I like, wake up and be like, I think I have more of a sugar hangover than anything else. So for me, it's like, I enjoy indulging, but I also enjoy the high in the discipline. And it's fun when you get to this point where you hit a goal and you're like, ah, you almost feel like superhuman. And it's interesting. I know you haven't experienced this, but, like, even towards the end, when you're getting closer to your competition, when you're like two weeks out, you're like, I'm already there. It's harder, but it's easier. And you feel so proud. And you kind of just like come out feeling like, ah, like, just like a superhero. Because, like, I've done other sports and so have you. Like, I've. I've ran marathons and done triathlons and did. Became a fitness instructor and all these things, but I've never incorporated the diet to where it's such a science. And so it's just cool towards the end. It's. It's. It's a different high.
So you're committing? Yeah. Yes. Right now on the show. You're committing because they've heard you for a month. And I'll talk about this.
All right.
Are you committing?
Yeah.
So, yeah or yes.
Do you want me to do it?
Yes.
Okay.
Are you doing it?
Sure.
Yes.
Yes.
Not sure. Yes what?
Yes.
Yes what?
I'm gonna do it.
Do what?
I'm gonna do this show with you.
What? Warrior? What show is it called?
I don't know. Warrior?
Npc Muscle Fitness Warrior.
Are you sure girls are part of that one?
I haven't. No. This is just guys and transgender men.
Did you know that I can actually. I've qualified to do a pro show.
You did?
I've never. I don't. I don't have a desire to get a pro card. Those girls are just too big. I have no desire to get that big.
Could you get a pro card if.
I took a ton of steroids and trained for another three years? Yeah.
Okay, There you go.
But I don't want to do that. I don't have that. I don't have that level of desire. Desire. I don't.
But you do have desire to compete in October 28th.
Yeah.
So October 28th, you're going to be on stage with me.
What color suits are we gonna wear?
I'm wearing a whatever.
You want to wear a leopard?
No, I'm wearing whatever. Yeah.
I'm gonna wear blue. Blue. I am gonna wear blue.
I'll wear blue. You wear blue.
I have a blue suit that I've never worn that gave me.
Don't have a blue suit, but I'll get one.
Yeah.
So you're competing on October 28th, are you? I have. I have been competing for October 28th for 13 weeks now.
Okay.
I've got. I've been competing eight and a half weeks left.
I've been competing my life.
I've been competing my life for this moment. You and I on stage. I think you should just run out during my segment and we'll both be on the same in my bikini. I'm like, wow. Yeah. And we'll just say it's not weird. I'll spend. I'll send them extra money and say we want our own.
You know what we should do? We should reach out to them and see if we can bring our camera crews in and get them on camera. They. They know me. I mean, they don't know me, but they. They recognize me now at this point. So I feel like we could do.
Big promotion for their program. All right, let's up. We'll get them on the Real White House.
Sure.
And be you and I. So. All right. So you're going to be able to, you know, handle me big and shredded.
I'm excited for that.
Are we doing a nude photo shoot after?
No.
Yes, we are.
We're not doing anything.
I thought I was doing a nude photo shoot with you back in December.
I know. I have no idea. To do a nude.
I have a desire to do a new photo shoot with you.
Why?
I wanna.
I saw this picture. I don't want to do a nude photo shoot.
I want to intertwine photo with you and I both naked, holding and intertwining. And photo with shadows and silhouettes. You and me.
No.
Yes.
No.
Yes. Why wouldn't you do it?
I don't want to do a naked photo shoot.
Why? You painted yourself with gold in front of men and strangers who painted you with paintbrush.
But it's different when you're intimately naked and intertwined with your husband.
I didn't Say we were having sex on camera. I said we're just.
I don't know if that Cialis is going to kick in. I probably will be curious.
Here's the thing, though. If you look at this, that you've seen those photos. They're awesome. They're like two intertwined bodies. Two bodies intertwined. You're naked. You're not seeing anything, but you're intertwined with two bodies. Both of us at our physical peak. Intertwined, naked. Like a photo taken. Like a statue documenting in time. No, we won't go to the dude who's kind of a weirdo, like, pervert. We'll go to a different guy. We'll get a girl. We'll get Vanessa to come take the pictures. Vanessa? Your photographer, Vanessa, we need you to pull one for the team and take a nude photo.
You're not going to actually research somebody.
To do that, So I will find somebody right now. I'm going to call Rich. Okay. Rich, the dude from Colorado who did the photos from the last fitness competition. He does that shit. Yeah, he does. His wife does, remember?
I know. I don't want to do a naked photo shoot.
Why?
You're on your own.
I'm on my own to do a naked photo shoot.
Yeah.
Well, I'm just gonna stand there, just like, hands on my shoulder, on my hips, like this. Standing there, just hanging it all out.
I like it.
Really? You're not going to.
I don't want to do a naked photo shoot. Why is that?
You did a naked photo shoot with painted gold.
Well, you wasn't. No. It doesn't matter. It wasn't naked with you intertwined.
You don't want to do that. Why would you not do it?
You're gonna have to show me a photo. Photo.
You show me a photo, I'll show you a photo right now.
Hold on.
You keep telling them about something. Well, I've looked up this photo so I can show you what I'm talking about.
It feels like it's like 2 in the morning.
It's not 2 in the morning.
Paris time.
Now it's Russell Brunson. Oh, there we go. There we go. So here we go. Nude couple photos shoot. I will show you what I'm talking about. No, that pulled up a bunch of pornhub. I don't want to see that.
This show is weird.
This has turned it.
This show got weird.
Let's see.
Call it a night.
Let me see this. Okay. Like this? I mean, that's not kind of exactly the one, but it's close. Look at this. Okay, hold on.
I'm excited to see this.
Oh, yeah, there you go. Like this. Look at this, look at this.
That is like porn.
That's not porn. Look at this, look at this. And then look at this one. Check out this one. That one's cool.
No.
What do you mean, no?
I don't. I don't want to do that.
I'm not asking you to post it to the world. All right, fine. Than just this one. How about this one? Let's see, where'd it go? All right, that's probably not going to be the one we want.
Yeah, it's a solid no for me.
That's not the one we want.
I'm not going to commit to having sex in front of strangers.
I didn't ask you to have sex in front of strangers, you weirdo.
So those photos look like.
Those photos don't look like people having sex. They look like two people are sitting there naked getting a picture. Oh, well, it. That's. This is like, I legitimately thought this is what we were doing last December. That's why I was so stressed out.
And stopped eating a boudoir. And I. I thought it'd be cute to have some sexy ones. You with you with your shirt off.
Well, I didn't know because the year before you went naked and hadn't paint you gold, which is super interesting, that you would go. I was standing with you in that.
Yeah, But I felt like you couldn't really see anything.
It literally like, all right, paint us in gold then, and we'll stand there as two. What do you want for Halloween? Naked gold statues?
No, I have some ideas. Some funny ideas.
Oh, all right, well, listen, we'll bring the show to a close because.
All right, welcome to the day your wife episode.
Obviously, I killed. I killed your drive for a photo shoot with this idea of nude photo shoot. It's not for anybody else.
You know what's so funny? Tuesdays, I just have, like, a heavy day. So by the end of the podcast, I'm like, sorry, my brain stopped working.
Yeah, me too.
Okay. All right, you guys, stay tuned to episode number two of the Real White House. The first one already dropped. It's got quite a few views. I've. We've gotten, like, nothing but positive feedback. I've heard everybody's been like, this is not what I thought, but I love it. So we definitely. We're showcasing our family, but we're also kind of hoping to empower and teach at the same time. We're not Looking to get on a reality show and fill you with a bunch of drama, bullshit, or posed stories. It's just kind of showcasing how we built our life, our families, and it's crazy to, like, to look back and see how far we have come. And a lot of couples, I think, quit. We've dealt with, you know, being raised in a very strict religion, getting married young. We kind of conquered the sex game. Then we built businesses together. We had two babies, two miscarriages, two more babies, and then even came back together. Not because both of us had to be together, but we chose to be together. And we wanted a relationship that had the chemistry and everything, you know? So that's really what the show, for me, is about. And probably a couple months ago, we were sitting in Miami and we were talking about podcasts and the market changing and how everybody and their dog has a podcast, and people are renting Ferraris, and it's like, how do. How do you know what's the real deal? And I'm like, I see a lot of podcasters, and I'm like, they haven't built half the shit that we have. It's time to flex, babe. Not just flex. The cars. I mean, we have a lot of clips, you know, within the Real White House, where it's like, Ferraris and cars. Yeah, that might be the hook, but our intention, really, with this show is to set you guys free, like, give you freedom of choice and give you permission, really, to create whatever it is you want. I think a lot of times we operate on what our society or our religion or our culture tells us is the checkbox. Hey, if you hit it to here, then you've won in life, and oftentimes, even for myself and for Garrett, I've gotten to this place where I've hit every checkbox, and yet I'm like, what's missing? And so I believe as humans, we are called to do so much more. And a lot of it goes with breaking those mindsets, breaking out of those boxes, and not listening to what, you know, religion or culture or society tells you is right. But what do you know in your heart that you need to do? And if you can learn how to do that, you'll essentially fast track your experience here on this earth and be able to help other people in the process. So the Real White House is not full of drama. And yes, we do have a $25 million home on the beach, but we want to show you our experience how we built this from the ground up. I met this man when I was 18. We've been together for 22 years. It hasn't been easy, but I would never trade the hard times for who we've become in the process. So if you are looking to watch the first episode of the Real White House, it's out. It's on YouTube. We have more to come and we're not going away. So stay tuned.
